- 0:00Speaker 1: The crypto trigger may be starting today. We'll break it
- 0:02Speaker 1: down for you. There are some pros and some cons
- 0:04Speaker 1: we'll break it all down. Is going to be a
- 0:07Speaker 1: good show today. I do want to thank our sponsor
- 0:09Speaker 1: and that is I Trust Capital. This is where you
- 0:11Speaker 1: can get your own CRYPTOIRA and there is some very
- 0:14Speaker 1: cool things that you can do with I Trust. One
- 0:17Speaker 1: of the things, of course, you can get into gold
- 0:19Speaker 1: and silver, into a ton of assets, and also into custody.
- 0:24Speaker 1: And one of the things I would do right now is,
- 0:26Speaker 1: of course get this set up, because there's a couple
- 0:29Speaker 1: of things that you need to do as you get
- 0:31Speaker 1: ready for taxes, and the benefit of course is setting
- 0:35Speaker 1: up all of all things around cryptoiras. These are great
- 0:39Speaker 1: tax benefits. Obviously you want to consult your own tax attorney,
- 0:42Speaker 1: but this is a great start to get going. Use
- 0:45Speaker 1: our link down below. It gets you one hundred dollars
- 0:47Speaker 1: funding reward to get going there with I Trust. Let's
- 0:50Speaker 1: go over to a couple of tweets here I want
- 0:52Speaker 1: to hit on. First was Eleanor Tara talking about the
- 0:55Speaker 1: White House and them hosting the representatives from the banking
- 0:59Speaker 1: and the crypt industries. This is happening. It's happening today.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Problem is is that it's not going to be really
- 1:06Speaker 1: any decision makers. This is I think more of again
- 1:10Speaker 1: a tip your toe in the water kind situation, possibly
- 1:13Speaker 1: the White House even looking at how and what positions
- 1:17Speaker 1: the banks are trying to manifest, as well as crypto
- 1:21Speaker 1: industry in general. But it is some movement. I think
- 1:25Speaker 1: that's the main thing you have to look. So that
- 1:26Speaker 1: is a pro I think this still applies to where
- 1:28Speaker 1: we're going. We are seeing crypto firms and banks obviously
- 1:33Speaker 1: aligned here. The question is is will they get aligned
- 1:36Speaker 1: at this meeting or does this meeting roll them back
- 1:39Speaker 1: into talking with their CEO leads and then coming to
- 1:44Speaker 1: some sort of resolution to basically move Clarity forward. And
- 1:49Speaker 1: I think that will be the big question is how
- 1:52Speaker 1: and what is the result coming out of that meeting today.
- 1:55Speaker 1: It's not really about who's there, it's more of the result, like, hey,
- 1:58Speaker 1: this is what we decided, these are the things we're
- 2:00Speaker 1: going to go back to our counterparts on and get
- 2:03Speaker 1: into it. A Clarity Act right now still holding pretty
- 2:07Speaker 1: much a dead heat at around fifty seven percent on
- 2:10Speaker 1: getting into law for twenty twenty six. That's a good thing.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I mean, the fact that we are up in the
- 2:14Speaker 1: fifty seven percent range over on poly market still shows
- 2:18Speaker 1: a lot of faith of where this is going. Now.
- 2:20Speaker 1: There are some issues though that are now finger pointing,
- 2:25Speaker 1: and usually after finger pointing comes, you know, negotiations. In
- 2:30Speaker 1: the negotiations you get a clarity resolution. But listen to
- 2:33Speaker 1: this clip right here. Take a look. Where do you
- 2:35Speaker 1: stand on this?
- 2:36Speaker 2: Do you think crypto platforms should be able to pay rewards,
- 2:39Speaker 2: pay customers for.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Moving stable coin or money out of traditional bank deposit
- 2:44Speaker 3: accounts and keep them on crypto platforms.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Where are you on that issue?
- 2:48Speaker 3: Again, Maria? I think what we're seeing in the crypto
- 2:52Speaker 3: market over the past few months means more than ever
- 2:56Speaker 3: that the US we need market structure, we need clarity,
- 3:00Speaker 3: and we need to get this across the line. This spring,
- 3:03Speaker 3: we we got a few recalcitrant actors who said, well,
- 3:07Speaker 3: it'd be better to have no legislation than the legislation
- 3:11Speaker 3: we don't want. And I think both on the banks
- 3:14Speaker 3: the other crypto firms are united against them. So we
- 3:17Speaker 3: need to get this across the line the US and
- 3:20Speaker 3: for crypto to remain a viable digital asset and move forward.
- 3:27Speaker 3: We need to get this Clarity Act done.
- 3:29Speaker 1: So you think it will be it'll come back fairly soon.
- 3:31Speaker 3: That I'm optimistic, and there's there's bipartisan support here.
- 3:36Speaker 1: All right, he's optimistic, But I am not optimistic in
- 3:40Speaker 1: the point that this is the Trump administration calling out
- 3:44Speaker 1: the lead dog in terms of where this movement has
- 3:48Speaker 1: kind of spawned from, and that is coinbase. So whether
- 3:51Speaker 1: you agree or you don't agree, you do want clarity,
- 3:54Speaker 1: you don't want clarity, you want stable coin yields, or
- 3:56Speaker 1: you want to yield to the banks and not allow
- 4:00Speaker 1: stable coin yields. It doesn't really matter the fact that
- 4:02Speaker 1: we have the US government calling out major corporations publicly
- 4:05Speaker 1: traded because this is going to potentially hurt their stock,
- 4:07Speaker 1: which hurts investors. That is a problem. I don't like
- 4:11Speaker 1: those kind of things. You have to kind of keep
- 4:13Speaker 1: those issues out of it. Patrick McHenry also hits up
- 4:18Speaker 1: an interesting point on timing here, because this is getting
- 4:21Speaker 1: very close to the deadline that the Trump administration has
- 4:25Speaker 1: actually already set.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Take a look you heard from Patrick Wett about the
- 4:30Speaker 2: group he brought together on yield Crypto came in and said, look,
- 4:34Speaker 2: we want to negotiate. We actually want a reasonable compromise
- 4:38Speaker 2: here on a regional approach to yields. And the bank
- 4:40Speaker 2: sat there, listened and offered nothing. Well, that's not going
- 4:44Speaker 2: to last long in Washington. If the group that is
- 4:48Speaker 2: holding it up, the banking industry, is unwilling to negotiate
- 4:52Speaker 2: on something that has to be resolved to unlock market structure,
- 4:55Speaker 2: it will be resolved. It's gonna be rough, a rough going,
- 5:00Speaker 2: but it's going to be. The President will have a
- 5:02Speaker 2: bill signing ceremony on market structure on clarity before Memorial Day.
- 5:06Speaker 1: So what he is saying there is that they've already
- 5:09Speaker 1: planned this in the Rose Garden. There's a ceremony that
- 5:12Speaker 1: is set up right now by the Trump administration. That
- 5:16Speaker 1: is putting a lot of pressure on obviously Congress to
- 5:19Speaker 1: get this done. But more point, I think it's putting
- 5:21Speaker 1: some pressure on the banking industry and even the crypto
- 5:23Speaker 1: industry to get this moving forward. My anticipation is this
- 5:27Speaker 1: is going to get passed, possibly very soon without stable
- 5:30Speaker 1: coin yield. So I know many of you would say
- 5:32Speaker 1: that's ridiculous, we don't need that, but remember guys, this
- 5:36Speaker 1: is I think a step in many steps moving forward.
- 5:41Speaker 1: That is basically putting the US hopefully at the center
- 5:45Speaker 1: of where digital assets are going to be going. All right,
- 5:47Speaker 1: So when you look at the pros and the cons,
- 5:51Speaker 1: one of the things you have to look at is
- 5:53Speaker 1: where are we in the bare cycle? And I think
- 5:56Speaker 1: this is a good example. Bitcoin sixty k crash this course,
- 5:59Speaker 1: where we've seen it downwards, hovering between sixty and seventy
- 6:02Speaker 1: right now could be the halfway point. Now I don't
- 6:04Speaker 1: mean the halfway point in terms of the price, halfway
- 6:07Speaker 1: point in terms of the market cycle of a bear market.
- 6:11Speaker 1: That's the question that I think a lot of people
- 6:14Speaker 1: are appointing to. Do you think it's going to go
- 6:15Speaker 1: ahead and go sub sixty if this does elongate out
- 6:19Speaker 1: further meaning clarity, or do you think we have hit
- 6:23Speaker 1: the bottom? Let me know in the comments down below
- 6:25Speaker 1: if you guys think we have hit the bottom.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Now.
- 6:27Speaker 1: The other thing that could be a pro but also
- 6:31Speaker 1: a con, is the fact that Trump's cryptos are David Sachs.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I think his job's on the line, and that's a
- 6:39Speaker 1: pro because this means this guy's gonna work, he's gonna
- 6:41Speaker 1: get it done, and he doesn't want to go down
- 6:44Speaker 1: as the guy who failed President Trump. That's his biggest
- 6:47Speaker 1: worry right now, the man who failed President Trump and
- 6:52Speaker 1: his wishes to get crypto for America. If Sachs doesn't
- 6:56Speaker 1: get this through, this will be a big problem. And
- 6:58Speaker 1: I think that's why it's a pro because it's going
- 7:00Speaker 1: to push him to really get a solution in order.
- 7:03Speaker 1: And then of course another I think pro on this.
- 7:05Speaker 1: This is Patrick Witt kind of talking about not the
- 7:08Speaker 1: message you want to be sending crypto community before midterms.
- 7:11Speaker 1: This whether you like it one way or the other,
- 7:14Speaker 1: they win after this being the Democrats went after President
- 7:17Speaker 1: Trump and also kind of mock to the crypto industry
- 7:21Speaker 1: in general. So if you're an investor out there, great,
- 7:24Speaker 1: thanks for thanks for reminding us that we continue to
- 7:27Speaker 1: see a crash inbound. All right, so let's take a
- 7:30Speaker 1: look at a clip because this gets into the timing
- 7:33Speaker 1: around where all of this could take place for the
- 7:37Speaker 1: current administration. Take a look.
- 7:40Speaker 2: If I can put you on the spot, Patrick, when
- 7:42Speaker 2: does the President sign the Clarity Act into law?
- 7:47Speaker 3: Well, I have a.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Birthday coming up, so let's say April third, how about that?
- 7:50Speaker 1: If that's real. I don't know if April third, is
- 7:52Speaker 1: something that Wit is timing into it or is he
- 7:55Speaker 1: speaking in code to know what's happening there with Patrick
- 7:59Speaker 1: McHenry point being is that this could happen much sooner.
- 8:03Speaker 1: This of course would be a very big pro for
- 8:05Speaker 1: where the market is going. One other thing to consider
- 8:07Speaker 1: here is what Blackrock wants Blackrock gets. This is the
- 8:11Speaker 1: kind of thing that we've seen with the ETFs. That's
- 8:13Speaker 1: another pro I guess if you look at this, But
- 8:16Speaker 1: they of course are all in on tokenized assets and
- 8:18Speaker 1: where this is going to be going in the market.
- 8:20Speaker 1: That's why they want it in play. Let's go over
- 8:23Speaker 1: to another tweet real quick, because this is where it
- 8:25Speaker 1: gets in kind of interesting. The fact that xox now
- 8:28Speaker 1: has tokenized equities available for lending, leverage and yield, and
- 8:34Speaker 1: I anticipate we're going to see what next probably vaults
- 8:38Speaker 1: all of that very pro for where this can play
- 8:42Speaker 1: out in terms of clarity, but also in the market itself.
- 8:45Speaker 1: This is kind of interesting right here. Another pro is
- 8:48Speaker 1: that these are the super PACs that are entering twenty
- 8:51Speaker 1: twenty six Magus pack through in four mil. Then you
- 8:54Speaker 1: got fair shake, which is pro crypto one hundred nine
- 8:56Speaker 1: point being, here is a lot of money that is
- 8:59Speaker 1: pointed right at this market and all of those who
- 9:03Speaker 1: oppose where this is heading. So beyond the lookout, we
- 9:07Speaker 1: could see some people getting primary if things don't fall
- 9:11Speaker 1: the way they should in this bipartisan votes as we
- 9:14Speaker 1: go forward. Another point that you have to look at
- 9:16Speaker 1: that I guess is a pro is that Trump's family
- 9:18Speaker 1: is also all in on crypto. The family has made
- 9:22Speaker 1: almost three and a half billion from crypto in just
- 9:25Speaker 1: sixteen months. I don't think they want that faucet to
- 9:28Speaker 1: turn off. And in fact, they've got a big event
- 9:30Speaker 1: coming up February eighteenth, the or a Liberty Forum that
- 9:33Speaker 1: I anticipate they're going to continue to move into a
- 9:36Speaker 1: direction where we'll see a lot of activity coming out
- 9:39Speaker 1: of there. Maybe there's some timing here that could also
- 9:42Speaker 1: be aligned with that. All right, so let's get into
- 9:44Speaker 1: the cons of clarity not passing. Here are some items
- 9:47Speaker 1: that I want to break down for you. Of course,
- 9:48Speaker 1: one of the big ones is a slowdown, and that
- 9:51Speaker 1: would happen if we do see a government shutdown by
- 9:54Speaker 1: February fifteenth, fourteenth, and the likelihood of that is still
- 9:58Speaker 1: floating very very high, right now you look at the
- 10:00Speaker 1: poly market seventy four percent or so, so that is
- 10:03Speaker 1: a con going forward. Also on poly market is the
- 10:07Speaker 1: balance of power is starting to shift. And guess what
- 10:11Speaker 1: the Republicans have really started to drop in terms of
- 10:15Speaker 1: the potential. The Republican Senate and Democrat House is right
- 10:19Speaker 1: now the lead with Democrat sweep at thirty six percent.
- 10:22Speaker 1: So this is another con that of course would slow
- 10:25Speaker 1: things down if we don't get at least the ability
- 10:29Speaker 1: to get a bipartisan approach toward crypto and how this
- 10:32Speaker 1: works all right, Another point that you want to look
- 10:34Speaker 1: at is that the US strikes Iran by a certain
- 10:37Speaker 1: date and as you look further into the month, there
- 10:40Speaker 1: all the way into almost junior at fifty four percent.
- 10:43Speaker 1: So the possibility is that this could happen. This is
- 10:45Speaker 1: why timing is very critical here for clarity to get
- 10:49Speaker 1: done before Congress and DC gets consumed with maybe a
- 10:53Speaker 1: conflict with Iran, so more issues that kind of point
- 10:56Speaker 1: in that direction. The other thing Tom Lee not mentioning
- 10:59Speaker 1: a word about clarity, Why is that? Why is the
- 11:02Speaker 1: number one eth man not going after clarity? That's to
- 11:07Speaker 1: me as a con in terms of maybe it is
- 11:09Speaker 1: not passing. Maybe it doesn't matter to tom Ley. Banks
- 11:12Speaker 1: also have formalized their opposition to giving crypto and fintech
- 11:16Speaker 1: furn's direct asset to Federal reserves payment system. This is
- 11:18Speaker 1: something we've seen for a while, but the banks are
- 11:21Speaker 1: turning it up and they have more money than anyone
- 11:24Speaker 1: when it comes to lobbies hitting into the market and
- 11:27Speaker 1: if they put the pressure on, especially on the lobby side,
- 11:30Speaker 1: another con that hits in. Big banks currently earned three
- 11:33Speaker 1: hundred and sixty billion annually from payments and deposits. They're
- 11:37Speaker 1: now lobbying to kill these rewards because the real competition,
- 11:40Speaker 1: let's boil down to it, means that Congress is going
- 11:43Speaker 1: to be able to pick winners and losers. That's not
- 11:46Speaker 1: something that the banks want for sure, especially for the
- 11:49Speaker 1: situation of their profit and loss statements going forward. Coin
- 11:54Speaker 1: to ask, of course, this is kind of interesting. This
- 11:56Speaker 1: was put out JP Morgan cuts coin in terms of
- 12:00Speaker 1: their price target from three nine ninety to ninety. I
- 12:03Speaker 1: don't know if this is a troll or is this
- 12:05Speaker 1: you know, obviously this is JP Morgan and coinbase going
- 12:07Speaker 1: head to head. JP Morgan put down an analyst offering
- 12:10Speaker 1: here that's considerably lower with times like this, and of
- 12:13Speaker 1: course maybe that makes sense, but again you have to
- 12:15Speaker 1: be very cognizant that you have investors acting on this,
- 12:20Speaker 1: JP Morgan. So this is something that whether you're trolling
- 12:23Speaker 1: or having fun or not, I think this is a
- 12:25Speaker 1: serious issue that is a bad thing for where this
- 12:29Speaker 1: may align with crypto. One other thing to consider here
- 12:32Speaker 1: is where do the lines draw when it comes to
- 12:36Speaker 1: the Republicans and the press. Democrats are after Trump and
- 12:40Speaker 1: the administration for doing things like this, trading meme coins
- 12:43Speaker 1: and being involved directly into World Liberty FI, all those
- 12:46Speaker 1: kind of things. That's the problem is that is a
- 12:49Speaker 1: red line that the Republicans won't let happen, and the
- 12:52Speaker 1: Democrats want to pierce that veil and get into it.
- 12:56Speaker 1: So that is another issue. Don't forget Millennia was all
- 13:00Speaker 1: also launched right after the Trump token. Remember, we saw
- 13:04Speaker 1: a lot of this happen. Many people in the industry
- 13:07Speaker 1: were just fed up with it. But I think now
- 13:09Speaker 1: what you're dealing with is a real situation where the
- 13:12Speaker 1: bipartisan connectivity is starting to break apart because of this issue.
- 13:17Speaker 1: One other thing is this This is a Forbes article
- 13:20Speaker 1: that basically is talking about finance and cz who remember
- 13:24Speaker 1: was pardoned and now holds eighty seven percent of trump
- 13:27Speaker 1: stable coin. That's not all, guys. We are seeing all
- 13:30Speaker 1: sorts of things coming out in the Epstein files as
- 13:32Speaker 1: they continue to drop. So are we going to see
- 13:35Speaker 1: something that could be you know, next level event coming
- 13:39Speaker 1: out of these files as they continue to hit the market.
- 13:42Speaker 1: All of these are definitely read herrings around a potential
- 13:46Speaker 1: no Clarity Act going forward. All right, So ending on
- 13:50Speaker 1: a good note, and that of course, is this right
- 13:51Speaker 1: here that we have a pro sec and Paul Atkins,
- 13:56Speaker 1: you'll align that with a pro now CFTC and we
- 14:00Speaker 1: may get clarity without actually having the requirement of Congress
- 14:03Speaker 1: being involved. So that could line up to where a
- 14:06Speaker 1: lot of companies will have the benefit. Now, can that
- 14:08Speaker 1: get affected with the next administration, Sure it can, but
- 14:12Speaker 1: at least this is definitely in the right direction. So
- 14:15Speaker 1: we're going to continue to cover this. Of course, obviously
- 14:17Speaker 1: the issue is faced right now with when will this occur?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Because timing is now everything As we watch bitcoin struggle
- 14:26Speaker 1: in the sixty to seventy K range, it is going
- 14:28Speaker 1: to be a very busy week. If you like this video,
