- 0:00Speaker 1: You should have gotten out of the way. It's one
- 0:01Speaker 1: more thing. I'm strungy, one more thing. So it's probably
- 0:08Speaker 1: I don't need to exaggerate. Once every two weeks I
- 0:13Speaker 1: come close enough to running over somebody on the way
- 0:15Speaker 1: to work that it's bothersome. It's because of the uh
- 0:20Speaker 1: unhomed population around the radio station that has a tendency
- 0:25Speaker 1: to just wander across the street in the dark and
- 0:28Speaker 1: all black, not at a crosswalk, funky junk as and
- 0:33Speaker 1: uh in my straight.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Now funky junk ass under your feet.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Or on your hood in my new comeding car of choice,
- 0:46Speaker 1: the Cyberbeast, which.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Had this ah about this funky junk as satin fires
- 0:53Speaker 3: cow funk he junk ass under my tires yowl yeah,
- 1:00Speaker 3: as inspired by the late greats Sylvester Stallone or I'm
- 1:03Speaker 3: sorry sly Stone. Different fella, completely different yeah, very different fellas.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Anyway back to you, I'm done song of Fiant.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Okay, So it would never be good to run over
- 1:14Speaker 1: a homeless person. I mean, even though the drug addict
- 1:18Speaker 1: wandering across the street in all black, in the dark,
- 1:20Speaker 1: not across walk, it would not be my fault. I
- 1:23Speaker 1: don't feel like and the defiant.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I'm not even gonna look because you've got to stop
- 1:29Speaker 2: for me.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I gotta believe it would be quite the headache to
- 1:34Speaker 1: deal with, especially in my new Cyberbeast. The big truck
- 1:40Speaker 1: with the stainless steel, completely flat front end like a
- 1:43Speaker 1: semi and at weighs seven pounds, I think it would
- 1:46Speaker 1: just pulverize somebody. But the reason I started thinking about
- 1:50Speaker 1: this was Governor DeSantis of Florida just stated, because they're
- 1:54Speaker 1: expecting protests in Florida this weekend, my clip, just my
- 2:02Speaker 1: picture just disappeared like it got erased. Let me go
- 2:04Speaker 1: into my deleted that's.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Bad because I keep coming up with nude versus of
- 2:08Speaker 3: my song. Hit it and we're probably better off now,
- 2:12Speaker 3: probably better off, not okay.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Ron DeSantis just said, if a mob surrounds your car
- 2:17Speaker 1: and threatens you and you hit them, that's their fault.
- 2:20Speaker 1: He announced that as the governor.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well yeah, there was a notable episode of that.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Where was that that angry rioters surrounded a pickup truck
- 2:31Speaker 3: pulling like a horse trailer and the guy was afraid
- 2:34Speaker 3: for his life and he kept driving and he hurts
- 2:37Speaker 3: several people, well, several people were hurt in trying to
- 2:40Speaker 3: hurt him, but the laws said, no, he's perfectly justified.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Man. I've seen lots of people get surrounded before and
- 2:47Speaker 1: they they you know, because there they've got more humanity
- 2:50Speaker 1: than me or something or whatever. They they they don't,
- 2:54Speaker 1: but they're surrounded by these people, and I think f that,
- 2:57Speaker 1: especially if my kids in the car. No, I'll hire lawyer.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'll deal with this later. I'm not sitting here waiting
- 3:03Speaker 1: to see how this turns out.
- 3:04Speaker 3: No place google the name Reginald Denny right right, dragged
- 3:09Speaker 3: out of his truck and beaten to the point his
- 3:12Speaker 3: brain was never the same in the Rodney King riots
- 3:15Speaker 3: just for being a white guy.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that is horrifying.
- 3:18Speaker 4: I'm watching a video from yesterday in Chicago with the
- 3:23Speaker 4: anti Ice riots in this car gets stuck in the
- 3:26Speaker 4: middle of it and they drove right through, just gunned it.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Do it well, it won't have it won't have to
- 3:33Speaker 1: happen very often, very many places before the word gets
- 3:36Speaker 1: out that, oh, you can't just stand in front of
- 3:38Speaker 1: a car anymore. Okay, I guess I better not do that, because,
- 3:41Speaker 1: at least for quite a few years now, the message
- 3:44Speaker 1: has been sent to this crowd, and it's the same
- 3:46Speaker 1: freaking people often at all of these things, like the
- 3:50Speaker 1: literally the same people. But they've they've gotten the word that,
- 3:54Speaker 1: oh we can get in front of a car and
- 3:55Speaker 1: harassed people and they'll just sit there and put up
- 3:57Speaker 1: with it and be scared.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Yeah, they won't hit you, don't worry.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Alright, Well DeSantis announcing Yay, you do that and you
- 4:02Speaker 1: get run over, that's your fault. So I'm happy to
- 4:05Speaker 1: hear that there's only one member of this show it's
- 4:07Speaker 1: ever ever run over a human being, and it's cute
- 4:09Speaker 1: little blonde Katie Green, Katy Katy in the news Lady,
- 4:12Speaker 1: why did you run over this person? He didn't like
- 4:14Speaker 1: the looks of him or what was the story, Katie?
- 4:15Speaker 4: Well, now, in my defense, I did not run over anyone.
- 4:19Speaker 4: I hit him and he rolled over the top of
- 4:22Speaker 4: my car. So let's just he didn't go under my
- 4:25Speaker 4: tires or anything.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Okay. So the so the inertia carried him up onto
- 4:32Speaker 1: your hood as opposed under your car, and you get
- 4:34Speaker 1: a credit for that. I don't understand.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Yes, ten points no, so wow, Okay. To set the scene,
- 4:41Speaker 4: I'm in a prom dress. It was my senior ball night,
- 4:44Speaker 4: and I'm in San Francisco and I was driving.
- 4:47Speaker 1: We want to explain how I ended up driving.
- 4:49Speaker 4: But I'm driving my car and we're at a stoplight,
- 4:52Speaker 4: and I have two of my friends in the car,
- 4:54Speaker 4: and this totally out of his mind. Junkie throws himself
- 5:01Speaker 4: over the driver's side of my car and kind of
- 5:04Speaker 4: onto my windshield, so his arms are like across my
- 5:07Speaker 4: windshield and his body is up against my driver's side window.
- 5:13Speaker 4: And I said, f this, and I hit the gas
- 5:16Speaker 4: and he did a nice little spin and went up
- 5:19Speaker 4: and over the top of my car, and I took
- 5:22Speaker 4: off because I didn't want to even take a second
- 5:23Speaker 4: to figure out what he was trying to do.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I would do the same thing even did anything come
- 5:29Speaker 1: of that? Did you call the police or did he
- 5:31Speaker 1: track you down and sue you or no? He didn't
- 5:34Speaker 1: even fall.
- 5:35Speaker 4: He was Steve remain Standing said, I saw him, you know,
- 5:37Speaker 4: in the street, yelling at me with his arms up.
- 5:39Speaker 4: So I was like, all right, he's fine, I don't
- 5:41Speaker 4: need to call for help, gotcha, But I mean, it's scared.
- 5:44Speaker 4: And I didn't see him coming. He came from like
- 5:47Speaker 4: my blind spot, so it startled me, and I just
- 5:50Speaker 4: I gunned it. That was it.
- 5:52Speaker 1: And you're what, you're a seventeen year old high school girl.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I was seventeen.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Points for a stick in the landing junkie boy, right, Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Uh, counterfactual or whatever you call it, when if things
- 6:06Speaker 1: have gone differently, you look back and he's you know,
- 6:10Speaker 1: bent into a pretzel and there's blood all around him.
- 6:12Speaker 1: You keep driving, but you call nine one one problem. Absolutely. Yeah.
- 6:16Speaker 4: I was in that situation. And with the way that
- 6:19Speaker 4: I was raised, I'm like always hyper aware, and I
- 6:22Speaker 4: was in it address that was too tight around my
- 6:25Speaker 4: knees for me to be able to run anywhere, and
- 6:27Speaker 4: I was in heels, and I was just like, if
- 6:29Speaker 4: I got out of the car and something goes off,
- 6:31Speaker 4: I am in no shape to a defend myself or
- 6:34Speaker 4: b get away.
- 6:35Speaker 1: So I just stayed in the car. I don't care
- 6:37Speaker 1: if I just stretched on him in my boxing gear.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I don't want to get out of my car and
- 6:41Speaker 1: like fend for my life because this lame o jumped
- 6:44Speaker 1: on my Oo.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Yeah, if I had seen that I had hurt him,
- 6:48Speaker 4: the first thing I would have done was called nine
- 6:49Speaker 4: one one and give him the intersection and say this
- 6:51Speaker 4: is what happened, and here's my contact info if you
- 6:53Speaker 4: need hmm, okay, I.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Wonder are be a little worried about that in San Francisco,
- 6:59Speaker 1: where they would love to make you the you know,
- 7:02Speaker 1: white perpetrator of violence or something, you're the patriarchy a
- 7:06Speaker 1: girl or oh yeah, well this this is no way
- 7:08Speaker 1: shape or forms.
- 7:09Speaker 2: A female face of white supremacy.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I am. Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Well, I mean that's in no way, shape or form
- 7:14Speaker 4: advice or anything.
- 7:15Speaker 1: That's just what.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Advice. D would you still go to prom?
- 7:21Speaker 1: It was prom night? I did still go to prom?
- 7:23Speaker 1: Or you were on a way too prom? I was
- 7:25Speaker 1: on my way too prom. I was switching on the
- 7:27Speaker 1: way home. No, wow, How long did it take you
- 7:31Speaker 1: to calm down?
- 7:32Speaker 3: Oh?
- 7:33Speaker 4: I everybody at prom knew about that by the time
- 7:35Speaker 4: it was I mean because I.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Was like, ran over a dude.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and so yeah, because that did that happened to
- 7:42Speaker 4: me several times.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Dude, you hit a homeless guy on your way here,
- 7:45Speaker 1: wait to mow down bums tells.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, wow, wow, that's crazy. So I'm sure in
- 7:54Speaker 3: a lot of jurisdictions, all you have to say is
- 7:56Speaker 3: I was afraid for my life, and that is clearly legitimate.
- 8:00Speaker 3: I wonder if you like, roll down your windshield a
- 8:03Speaker 3: couple inches. I'm picture and being surrounded in a riot
- 8:06Speaker 3: or something like that, and say I am going to
- 8:08Speaker 3: accelerate in three seconds, fair warning, three two one, and
- 8:14Speaker 3: then mulm down.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Take that Antifa.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Huh premeditating what?
- 8:22Speaker 3: No?
- 8:22Speaker 2: I don't think so I am afraid for my life.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You should have asked them if they were hungry, and
- 8:28Speaker 1: offered to buy them some food.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Then I pop in my eight track tape of Funky
- 8:35Speaker 3: Junkie by slying the family stone, rank it up so
- 8:38Speaker 3: I can't hear the screams, and I hit that accelerator.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I turn it up so I can't hear the screams,
- 8:43Speaker 1: and bumbump off.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I go right, got places to be, well, I guess
- 8:50Speaker 2: that's it
