One year after the Guadalupe River unleashed chaos on the historic River Inn, owner Scott Towery is pushing forward with rebuilding—construction set to begin in August or September. The flood, which hit on July 4th last year, left boulders the size of trucks and destroyed first-floor rooms, forcing guests to escape via bedsheet ropes and staff to brave rising waters room by room.
