- 0:12Speaker 3: Yeah, this looks like it's gonna be on the one
- 0:14Speaker 3: oh five freeway as you head westbound right there.
- 0:17Speaker 4: I just lost it.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Hold on there.
- 0:19Speaker 3: It is westbound right there at the four oh five
- 0:21Speaker 3: crash in lanes there, and it is slow as you
- 0:23Speaker 3: approach getting away from it. Looks like about Western Avenue
- 0:29Speaker 3: where you're going to start to see the brake lights
- 0:30Speaker 3: there on the westbound side. Maybe even the one ten
- 0:32Speaker 3: Freeway still got this problem. Four or five southbound at
- 0:36Speaker 3: the one oh one solo vehicle crash there on the
- 0:39Speaker 3: right shoulder.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Not good.
- 0:40Speaker 3: It is really jammed up that drive all the way
- 0:43Speaker 3: back from Roscoe Boulevard on the southbound side. Also affecting
- 0:46Speaker 3: your drive on the southbound and northbound side of the
- 0:48Speaker 3: one oh one approaching the four h five, the one
- 0:51Speaker 3: ten Freeway, the one ten Freeway northbound at Orange Grove
- 0:54Speaker 3: crash there on the right shoulder. There is a bumper
- 0:56Speaker 3: in the roadway as well, and the seven southbound at

- 3:22Speaker 7: was handed out the surplus cheese that was bought by
- 3:25Speaker 7: the government. Those sandwiches were ten cents instead of twenty
- 3:30Speaker 7: five cents.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Oh yeah, baby, those were so good.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And now handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen. Here's
- 3:38Speaker 1: Bill handle.
- 3:40Speaker 4: And good morning everybody.
- 3:41Speaker 7: Tuesday Morning Taco Tuesday, February seventeeks.
- 3:46Speaker 4: By the way, that tromo was a reference to the
- 3:49Speaker 4: cheese sandwiches.
- 3:50Speaker 7: I used to have in junior high at recess that
- 3:53Speaker 7: were normally twenty five cents to grilled cheese sandwiches, and when,
- 3:56Speaker 7: as we used to call it, government cheese would be
- 3:59Speaker 7: given to the school, it dropped to ten cents. Best
- 4:02Speaker 7: deal ever. I can still remember those. Can you imagine,
- 4:06Speaker 7: grilled cheese sandwiches in junior high school during recess one
- 4:10Speaker 7: of the better times of my life and far far better,
- 4:14Speaker 7: more memorable than my marriage at the birth of my kids.
- 4:17Speaker 7: I mean, those cheese sandwiches were fantastic. All right, Good morning, Neil,
- 4:22Speaker 7: Good morning to you.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 4:24Speaker 9: You remember the square pizza?
- 4:27Speaker 4: Uh no, we didn't have pizza.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Maybe yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 4: The food then was just horrible.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Really, I never had a problem with school food.
- 4:39Speaker 4: I did some of it, No, but I loved it.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Don't mist understand.
- 4:42Speaker 7: I love processed food and has it's all calories and
- 4:45Speaker 7: has almost no flavor. But great for kids in any case,
- 4:50Speaker 7: excuse me, in any way, In any case, let's do it.
- 4:54Speaker 7: So Neil Amy, there you are, Amy. What does that
- 4:57Speaker 7: say on your shirt?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Silver Lake today?
- 5:01Speaker 4: Okay? Fair enough? Yeah?
- 5:03Speaker 7: And will Cole Riverer Ellie Dodgers hat, good morning, Good morning,
- 5:08Speaker 7: and cono boy.
- 5:09Speaker 4: You want to look unusual today?
- 5:10Speaker 7: You're dressed so unusual as in your Do you ever
- 5:14Speaker 7: take those clothes off?
- 5:15Speaker 4: It's rainy? What do you mean? It's a jacket, it's
- 5:18Speaker 4: a hat. That's what you wear. Jacket and a hat. Oh,
- 5:21Speaker 4: yesterday I went to the store.
- 5:23Speaker 7: Oh my god. Coming out of the store, I the
- 5:27Speaker 7: wind and the rain were coming down. I'll tell you
- 5:30Speaker 7: what does not mix well is the kind of rain
- 5:33Speaker 7: that was coming down yesterday and paper bags that you
- 5:37Speaker 7: get at the supermarket. The two just don't mesh very well.
- 5:44Speaker 7: All right, uh, and good morning to you, good morning.
- 5:48Speaker 4: There you go. That's the entire thing.
- 5:50Speaker 10: You guys, remember when your little the cafeteria had a
- 5:52Speaker 10: certain smell. Yeah, and well you'll get it and you'll
- 5:57Speaker 10: be like, oh man, that's amazing. That was this staff
- 6:00Speaker 10: that smelled that way. And you get it when you
- 6:03Speaker 10: have not showered for a week.
- 6:05Speaker 7: Why Because that's my job, That's why. Because that's how
- 6:09Speaker 7: I live. It is next question I have, and we're
- 6:14Speaker 7: going to talk obviously about the Reverend Jesse Jackson, who
- 6:19Speaker 7: has died.
- 6:19Speaker 4: He was eighty four years old.
- 6:21Speaker 7: And I have a question to ask you guys, in
- 6:24Speaker 7: terms of deaths, have there been more deaths recently? Not
- 6:28Speaker 7: that statistically there were more or less, because people die
- 6:31Speaker 7: at a given at a given pace, unless there happens
- 6:34Speaker 7: to be a civil war or an atomic bomb is
- 6:37Speaker 7: dropped over their city.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Granted, the death increases pretty dramatically.
- 6:40Speaker 7: Then, but have you noticed that there has been more deaths,
- 6:44Speaker 7: maybe more high end reportable deaths in the last little while.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I mean, we're talking about Robert.
- 6:54Speaker 7: All just died yesterday, or obviously Jesse Jackson, who else died,
- 7:00Speaker 7: a couple of other people that were of.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Now you're really proving your point. I am my point
- 7:06Speaker 4: because I forget you guys.
- 7:07Speaker 9: Noticed that the two people that died yesterday and today
- 7:11Speaker 9: are a lot.
- 7:13Speaker 7: Yeah, a whole lot to two people. Yeah. Also, obviously
- 7:17Speaker 7: at seven o'clock, I'm gonna talk about Jamie Jackson.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Yes, I'm gonna talk those Lindberg baby died.
- 7:23Speaker 7: I'm also going to talk I'm obsessed baby this Well,
- 7:26Speaker 7: the show died the day it opened, which is why
- 7:29Speaker 7: our new show, our their new show, Monks and Merrick
- 7:33Speaker 7: starting today, Merrill.
- 7:36Speaker 4: I knew that Meryll.
- 7:38Speaker 7: Starting today all ready, you know, started today at noon
- 7:42Speaker 7: they start, and so that's going to be a lot
- 7:45Speaker 7: of fun, at least for the time they're on the air,
- 7:47Speaker 7: which is not very long.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Okay, uh. I just want to give them, Yeah, that's
- 7:52Speaker 4: what that's what saves their asses. Let me tell you
- 7:55Speaker 4: that's what saves my.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Ass is I have a contract, nothing less, nothing more.
- 8:00Speaker 4: But actually I'm looking forward to their show next.
- 8:04Speaker 7: Jesse Jackson, as I said, has died and we've been
- 8:07Speaker 7: talking about that.
- 8:08Speaker 4: I'm going to do a sort of an obituary, a.
- 8:13Speaker 7: Modified obituary, because his background is incredible. I've interviewed him
- 8:17Speaker 7: twice and they were both very interesting interviews. Some personal
- 8:23Speaker 7: a personal story or two about my interview and discussion
- 8:26Speaker 7: with Jesse Jackson both on and.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Off the air. I interviewed him once or twice too. Yeah,
- 8:32Speaker 4: he was coming into the.
- 8:33Speaker 7: Studio and he was pretty good about that big man,
- 8:38Speaker 7: very imposing guy who yes he was not you know,
- 8:42Speaker 7: he got a football scholarship.
- 8:43Speaker 4: You know that he played football in college. Did not
- 8:45Speaker 4: know that on a scholarship. Yeah.
- 8:47Speaker 9: He was on the same network as the Handle in
- 8:50Speaker 9: the Law and The Jesus Show.
- 8:52Speaker 4: That's right here. And there's a great story about that too,
- 8:55Speaker 4: being he.
- 8:56Speaker 9: Used to walk down the hall at the studio when
- 8:58Speaker 9: I was producing The Jesus Show, and he had an
- 9:01Speaker 9: entourage even at five in the morning morning.
- 9:03Speaker 7: Yeah, And when he was told by the Syndicator that
- 9:08Speaker 7: he got a Sunday morning show, he wanted a Sunday
- 9:10Speaker 7: He wanted a show, and they gave him a show
- 9:13Speaker 7: six to eight am Sunday morning, and which, of course,
- 9:17Speaker 7: for any one of us in radio that would tell
- 9:20Speaker 7: you that's the death knel of any career. Sunday morning,
- 9:22Speaker 7: sixth day.
- 9:23Speaker 4: He loved it.
- 9:23Speaker 7: He wanted it because he wanted to grab people before
- 9:26Speaker 7: they went to church. And then Premier told him and
- 9:30Speaker 7: this was basically a political move because Jesse Jackson was
- 9:34Speaker 7: so powerful by an individual. He goes, Hi, i'd really
- 9:38Speaker 7: like a radio show. Every syndicator lined up to give
- 9:40Speaker 7: him one. So he was also told, you know you're
- 9:44Speaker 7: not going to make any money on this.
- 9:46Speaker 4: You know that, don't you.
- 9:48Speaker 7: There's no money to be to be made on a
- 9:51Speaker 7: Sunday morning once a week, six to eight o'clock.
- 9:53Speaker 4: And he goes, don't worry about the money part. I'll
- 9:55Speaker 4: take care of the money part.
- 9:57Speaker 7: Millions of dollars of endorsement, Ford Motor Company, American Express,
- 10:03Speaker 7: all the majors lined up. It was the most successful
- 10:07Speaker 7: Sunday morning show in the history of radio. Why because
- 10:09Speaker 7: that's how powerful he was. That's the kind of influence
- 10:12Speaker 7: Jesse Jackson had pretty extraordinary. So I'll talk more about
- 10:17Speaker 7: him coming up at seven o'clock. It's a hell of
- 10:20Speaker 7: a bio.
- 10:21Speaker 4: All right, guys, you ready to do it?
- 10:23Speaker 7: It is time for handle on the news on this
- 10:25Speaker 7: Tuesday morning Taco Tuesday, February seventeenth, and it's Amy, Neil
- 10:29Speaker 7: and me lead story. Jesse Jackson completely dead, eighty four
- 10:36Speaker 7: years old. I'll do more about that on at seven o'clock.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Family's been cleared. The family of Savannah Guthrie has been
- 10:52Speaker 2: nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case.
- 10:56Speaker 2: That is according to Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said,
- 11:00Speaker 2: to be clear, the Guthrie family, including all siblings and spouses,
- 11:04Speaker 2: has been cleared as possible suspects in the case.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Can you find that unusual that he even said that.
- 11:11Speaker 7: I think that that is kind of crazy that he
- 11:14Speaker 7: would say they've been cleared, as opposed to not saying
- 11:19Speaker 7: anything and the people go, well, look at the family,
- 11:21Speaker 7: look at the family, and just go there are no
- 11:23Speaker 7: suspects here. You know, it was very interesting, doesn't it
- 11:27Speaker 7: sort of mean we were looking at it and that
- 11:29Speaker 7: was the possibility of the family members.
- 11:31Speaker 4: I thought that was a little stress.
- 11:33Speaker 9: A lot of play online about it being the family members.
- 11:38Speaker 2: And the brother in law specifically.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Online. Do you pay attention to what's going online?
- 11:44Speaker 2: Well, there was a podcaster came out and said that
- 11:47Speaker 2: it was that, and so there was a lot of
- 11:50Speaker 2: talk about it. So and don't in these cases, don't
- 11:54Speaker 2: they say family or somebody close to them is usually involved.
- 11:59Speaker 7: Yeah, they do, But I don't think you need to
- 12:00Speaker 7: go public with that investigation.
- 12:02Speaker 4: I agree.
- 12:03Speaker 9: I think that's unusual to rule out anybody unless you
- 12:06Speaker 9: have But I don't know.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Maybe they're doing that as a tactic. Maybe I don't know.
- 12:11Speaker 4: This is a weird one. Smoke them out, This is
- 12:14Speaker 4: a weird one.
- 12:15Speaker 7: Also, I have not yet heard the authorities or anybody
- 12:19Speaker 7: in the know, even people that I have remained sort
- 12:24Speaker 7: of in the background, right, not publicly stated, but sources quote,
- 12:28Speaker 7: sources stay.
- 12:29Speaker 4: There is not much hope left that.
- 12:33Speaker 7: Unfortunately, this is well into the third week and the
- 12:37Speaker 7: ransom discussion is off the table. We haven't heard about
- 12:40Speaker 7: that in a couple of weeks.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Well, we will coming up on handle on the news
- 12:45Speaker 2: moments from now.
- 12:47Speaker 7: Well yeah, but I'm well, okay, but that's Harvey Levin
- 12:52Speaker 7: and that's that's Harvey, And it's not ransom for.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Nancy Guthrie. It's a peripheral story to that.
- 13:03Speaker 7: It's someone who says they have seen Nancy gut Thrie
- 13:07Speaker 7: and or the person that abducted her. So and as
- 13:11Speaker 7: I was talking last night and ream and I said
- 13:13Speaker 7: yesterday that you know, I hope I am wrong, but man,
- 13:15Speaker 7: statistically speaking, this is not bode well for the gut
- 13:18Speaker 7: Thrie family unfortunately. And I was also talking to Lindsay saying,
- 13:22Speaker 7: and what's worse never finding out or finding out that
- 13:29Speaker 7: mom is no longer alive. Which way do you go
- 13:32Speaker 7: on that? And that's that's a tough one. You know,
- 13:36Speaker 7: when you read about and hear about closure. One of
- 13:38Speaker 7: the biggest deals made, remember the Palestine or the Kamas
- 13:43Speaker 7: Israeli war, which is still going on to some extent,
- 13:48Speaker 7: is the issue of bodies coming back to Israeli to
- 13:53Speaker 7: Israel as closure for the families.
- 13:55Speaker 4: That is a very very big deal. Okay.
- 13:58Speaker 9: You know in suburbia when someone parks in front of
- 14:01Speaker 9: your house, everybody gets tense. But in the Middle East
- 14:05Speaker 9: you can have all kinds of air and naval assets and.
- 14:10Speaker 4: That'll get you very nervous.
- 14:11Speaker 9: So you have US increasing it's the pressure and its
- 14:16Speaker 9: appearance there with US Air Force assets based in the
- 14:21Speaker 9: United Kingdom now moving refueling takers and the like fighter
- 14:25Speaker 9: jets there in.
- 14:26Speaker 4: The Middle East near Iran.
- 14:29Speaker 9: And this is just before they go into talks there
- 14:34Speaker 9: in Geneva today. So they were really originally going to
- 14:39Speaker 9: pull out I think a little bit, and then they
- 14:41Speaker 9: extended and even up the ante.
- 14:44Speaker 7: I think the killing of the protester, some ten thousand
- 14:48Speaker 7: of them really got to the president, really got to
- 14:51Speaker 7: the rest of us around the world, and you can
- 14:53Speaker 7: make Trump jealous. Yeah, nice me by way, was neil.
- 15:01Speaker 7: I want to point that out.
- 15:01Speaker 4: He said that.
- 15:04Speaker 7: But you're hearing, you're hearing Tehran say, oh, we will
- 15:07Speaker 7: retaliate any attack on us.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Means we are at war.
- 15:11Speaker 7: It's talk to the hand because when President Trump says
- 15:16Speaker 7: you don't sit down with us, We're gonna just blow
- 15:19Speaker 7: you to smotherings, he means every word of it. And
- 15:22Speaker 7: the Iranians know that. So I think it's a different
- 15:27Speaker 7: take on Iran that the that that America is taken
- 15:32Speaker 7: also telling countries that deal with Iran, Iran stopped dealing
- 15:36Speaker 7: with them. I mean, Cuba's basically gone with what the
- 15:39Speaker 7: president has done. They've just broken The President has broken Cuba.
- 15:44Speaker 7: No gasoline did you know that? There's Are you ready
- 15:47Speaker 7: for this? You want to buy gasoline? And there's an
- 15:51Speaker 7: app in Cuba. It will take a month for you
- 15:56Speaker 7: to make an appointment to buy gasoline.
- 15:58Speaker 4: It's rationed that much. It's completely insane. Although it fancy
- 16:05Speaker 4: nineteen fifties cars.
- 16:06Speaker 7: No, they're not driving them. They're not driving them because
- 16:09Speaker 7: there's no gasoline. I mean, the point is is that
- 16:12Speaker 7: this is President Trump flexing America's arm, and he flexes
- 16:16Speaker 7: it better than any other president.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Now, whether you.
- 16:20Speaker 7: Agree with or disagree with it, that's up for discussion,
- 16:24Speaker 7: but certainly his power and his ability to use American
- 16:27Speaker 7: power can't be understated, overstated, understated, overstated, state the under
- 16:36Speaker 7: and over.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Moving on an alternative to Gavin and Kamala, Arizona Democratic
- 16:44Speaker 2: Senator Mark Kelly says he will seriously consider running for
- 16:47Speaker 2: president in twenty twenty eight. The retired Navy captain said
- 16:51Speaker 2: he was considering it because we're in some serious challenging times.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Of course, a former astronaut an engineer, he said, it's
- 16:59Speaker 2: a serious decision. He is one of the senators or
- 17:04Speaker 2: lawmakers in a battle with the Trump administration over that
- 17:08Speaker 2: video in which they urged military members to refuse illegal
- 17:12Speaker 2: orders and was accused of sedition.
- 17:14Speaker 7: Yeah, the best thing ever happened to him was doing
- 17:16Speaker 7: that video in terms of what the Trump administration it
- 17:22Speaker 7: has responded, because, as you know, President Trump posted, this
- 17:25Speaker 7: is sedition, this is treason, this is the death penalty
- 17:29Speaker 7: what he did, and of course it's not. And so
- 17:33Speaker 7: with the courts have already shut down with Pete he
- 17:36Speaker 7: sat as doing in terms of demoting Kelly and reducing
- 17:40Speaker 7: his pension. I think I got to tell you I
- 17:43Speaker 7: would vote for him. I think he's a contender right
- 17:46Speaker 7: off the bat.
- 17:47Speaker 4: I like what you know.
- 17:48Speaker 9: What sucks though, even though the courts shut things down
- 17:51Speaker 9: all that, when Trump speaks, he still has a chunk
- 17:56Speaker 9: of empty headed people. Now I'm not saying everyone that
- 17:59Speaker 9: supports it is empty headed, but a chunk of empty
- 18:02Speaker 9: headed people that threaten this guy and his family.
- 18:05Speaker 7: Oh, everybody's threat anytime anybody comes out of here.
- 18:08Speaker 4: It's like, you can't shut that down. No, you can't.
- 18:11Speaker 7: Anybody who says anything against Trump gets death threats today.
- 18:14Speaker 7: It's a given. It's part of doing business. Have you
- 18:17Speaker 7: gotten any at No, I get death threats just by
- 18:20Speaker 7: walking in the door.
- 18:22Speaker 9: I must be trying, Yeah from everybody.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Yeah, she's a dummies home. Yeah, all right.
- 18:29Speaker 9: Anderson Cooper may be hanging up or is hanging up
- 18:33Speaker 9: his tight black shirt. As far as sixty Minutes is concerned,
- 18:38Speaker 9: it looks like he's not renewing his CBS contract. Twenty
- 18:42Speaker 9: years he's been working with sixty minutes. He says, they're,
- 18:46Speaker 9: you know, a huge, great family team, best camera cruse, editors,
- 18:51Speaker 9: producer in the business. But he's got little kids now
- 18:55Speaker 9: he wants to spend much more time with his family.
- 18:59Speaker 9: And that makes it to me.
- 19:00Speaker 2: So he's going to stay with CNN, but not with CBS.
- 19:03Speaker 7: Right for a big fan fact, And I did not
- 19:07Speaker 7: know he is divorce and or separated from his husband.
- 19:12Speaker 7: And they went to a surrogate mother clearly to have
- 19:15Speaker 7: their two kids, Wyatt and Sebastian. And it was I'm
- 19:19Speaker 7: a big fan. I think the guy is great. I mean,
- 19:21Speaker 7: he's got a big Q rating. As far as I'm concerned,
- 19:24Speaker 7: I like him a lot. Matter of fact, I look
- 19:27Speaker 7: at him on TV. I get would he is a
- 19:33Speaker 7: very attractive man. You've just made him straight.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Yes, Another star has gone out in Hollywood. Legendary actor
- 19:40Speaker 2: Robert Duval died. He was ninety five. He apparently died
- 19:44Speaker 2: peacefully at home in Virginia on Sunday, surrounded by love
- 19:49Speaker 2: and comfort. And I thought this was very cool. They're
- 19:51Speaker 2: not going to do a formal service.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Not yeah, but the family to go watch a movie.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, they said. The family says if you want to
- 19:59Speaker 2: honor his memory in a way that reflects his life,
- 20:03Speaker 2: watch a great film, tell a great story around a
- 20:06Speaker 2: table with friends, or take a drive in the countryside
- 20:08Speaker 2: to appreciate the world's beauty. I love that.
- 20:12Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm going to watch Debbie does Dallas today just
- 20:15Speaker 7: as a tribute to Robert Dy.
- 20:18Speaker 9: He didn't let him finish. He's going to do it
- 20:20Speaker 9: in the country in his car.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Oh okay, that makes it very sweet.
- 20:24Speaker 9: Then all right, you've got someone else stepping down. Billionaire
- 20:29Speaker 9: Tom Pritzker announced on Monday that he's retiring as executive
- 20:33Speaker 9: chairman of Hyatt Hotels. Apparently his association came out with
- 20:38Speaker 9: convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, revealed in the latest drop
- 20:43Speaker 9: of files.
- 20:44Speaker 4: From the US Justice Department.
- 20:46Speaker 9: So he says good stewardship also means protecting Hyatt, particularly
- 20:51Speaker 9: particularly in the context of my association with Jeffrey Epstein
- 20:57Speaker 9: and Gislaine Maxwell Well, which I deeply regret.
- 21:02Speaker 7: A prisker name is really astounding, Governor Pritzker. The prisker
- 21:06Speaker 7: price for I think it's architecture is the Printsker Prize.
- 21:10Speaker 7: I've been I'm mistaken a storied name in American history
- 21:15Speaker 7: and politics.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I don't think he's going to be hurting when he
- 21:17Speaker 2: steps down. I think he's going he's got a dollar
- 21:20Speaker 2: or two.
- 21:21Speaker 9: Yeah, funny, that's the first thing I thought, Mike stepping
- 21:23Speaker 9: down from what.
- 21:24Speaker 4: More gobs of cash? Yeah? Are they just doing this
- 21:27Speaker 4: to try and hope that it goes away? Or No?
- 21:30Speaker 4: I don't think so, because he's old.
- 21:31Speaker 7: He's old, he's what seventy four, seventy five, And you
- 21:35Speaker 7: don't start a career, you know, restarted.
- 21:37Speaker 2: To come back to retire on your island.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty much.
- 21:42Speaker 7: Yeah, just not Epstein's Island or epstein Island is cheap Now,
- 21:46Speaker 7: I have no idea they just go to tear that
- 21:48Speaker 7: place down or carbonet Now are you kidding? Epstein's Have
- 21:52Speaker 7: you seen Epstein's Island is fabulous? Where is it in
- 21:57Speaker 7: the Caribbean? How long did it take you to get there?
- 22:01Speaker 4: How long it is taking me to get there?
- 22:03Speaker 2: Oh?
- 22:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I was an invite. Let me tell you.
- 22:05Speaker 7: If I was, I would be shouting it from the rooftops.
- 22:09Speaker 9: That was just a test, just to test trip you up.
- 22:13Speaker 9: Did you enjoy it?
- 22:15Speaker 4: No?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Okay, where is Nancy?
- 22:19Speaker 8: Well?
- 22:19Speaker 2: This guy says he knows. TMZ says it got another
- 22:24Speaker 2: letter claiming to know where Nancy Guthrie is, and of
- 22:27Speaker 2: course they want money in exchange for that information. They
- 22:30Speaker 2: want bitcoin in exchange for that information. So Harvey Levin said,
- 22:35Speaker 2: if you send the details, we'll give you the reward money.
- 22:40Speaker 2: So the guy said in a letter, I know what
- 22:43Speaker 2: I saw five days ago south of the border, and
- 22:46Speaker 2: I was told to shut up. So I know who
- 22:48Speaker 2: he is and that was definitely Nancy with them.
- 22:51Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Now look at this story.
- 22:53Speaker 7: The FBI has offered one hundred thousand dollars reward. Right
- 22:58Speaker 7: this guy writes TMZ, Harvey says, I will make if
- 23:02Speaker 7: you write to me. Why wouldn't he go directly to
- 23:05Speaker 7: the FBI and grabbed the award if he reward if
- 23:09Speaker 7: he knew where Nancy gut Thrie.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Was, because he's involved with the drug cartel and he's
- 23:14Speaker 2: been raid of them.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Ah okay, got it. I mean, this thing gets weirder by.
- 23:20Speaker 2: It is crazy. It could be you never know. Why
- 23:23Speaker 2: would you make her in the first place?
- 23:25Speaker 4: Who knows? And Harvey's in the middle of all of it.
- 23:28Speaker 7: And no surprise, because TMZ is at the forefront of news.
- 23:32Speaker 7: I believe CMZ before any other news outlet, and I
- 23:35Speaker 7: think a lot of people do so I don't think
- 23:39Speaker 7: I said before.
- 23:39Speaker 4: And it's just not going to e bode Well.
- 23:41Speaker 7: It's horrible and I feel my heart goes out to
- 23:45Speaker 7: the Guts Three family.
- 23:46Speaker 4: I mean, I can't even imagine what they're going through.
- 23:50Speaker 9: So India is aiming to prevent its waters from being
- 23:55Speaker 9: used for like that ship to ship transfer stuff, obscuring
- 24:00Speaker 9: the origins of these oil cargoes and all of that stuff.
- 24:04Speaker 9: So they recently seized these three Iran linked, Iran linked
- 24:10Speaker 9: US sanctioned tankers.
- 24:14Speaker 4: No good.
- 24:15Speaker 7: Yeah, and they're saying that India had no connection to them,
- 24:20Speaker 7: even though they were named the Lamb Vindaloo, the Chicken Curry,
- 24:25Speaker 7: and the Non they changed their names. Okay, let's move on.
- 24:33Speaker 7: Sometimes they work. Sometimes that doesn't.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Kind of the opposite of deflate Gait, a plastic surgeon
- 24:41Speaker 2: renowned for his penis enlarging procedures, says he provided a
- 24:46Speaker 2: service last month to a ski jumper. Remember Bill got
- 24:49Speaker 2: all excited about this. Last week there were reports from
- 24:53Speaker 2: a German media outlet promoting a prompting speculation that ski
- 24:57Speaker 2: jumpers are getting enlargements, getting injections to increase the surface
- 25:04Speaker 2: area of their suits which would increase the distance of
- 25:07Speaker 2: their jumps. And now that plastic surgeon has come forward
- 25:11Speaker 2: and said, oh yeah, I did that.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Well, hang on a minute.
- 25:14Speaker 7: It was the rumor by the International Ski Snowboard Federation
- 25:17Speaker 7: where they called.
- 25:18Speaker 4: It a wild rumor.
- 25:19Speaker 7: And it was one doctor who in fact did this
- 25:22Speaker 7: to one athlete, and somehow it blew up into this
- 25:26Speaker 7: story about wind resistance and extra fabric too.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Yeah, so yeah, very funny. And so he did.
- 25:33Speaker 7: Regarding the news in question, I did, and this is
- 25:36Speaker 7: penis enlargement. I did, in fact treat an athlete from
- 25:38Speaker 7: that sport Schmoothy Finkelstein, and it did work to some extent.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Was he from the.
- 25:46Speaker 9: Hog Institute the doctor?
- 25:50Speaker 4: Hello, okay, you got me on that one.
- 25:54Speaker 2: I didn't get it either.
- 25:55Speaker 4: I didn't get it. A ppe sometimes called a hog.
- 26:01Speaker 9: I a horrible story about a shooting during a Rhode
- 26:05Speaker 9: Island youth hockey game in the ice ring. There three
- 26:09Speaker 9: people dead, including the shooter, which is not bad news.
- 26:14Speaker 9: Three more were hospitalized as all went down yesterday, it
- 26:18Speaker 9: appears at this point from what they're saying, the police
- 26:21Speaker 9: chief there says that it was targeted and may be
- 26:27Speaker 9: a family dispute of some kind, which and.
- 26:30Speaker 7: If I remember the news last night, didn't they say
- 26:32Speaker 7: that none of the it was high school hockey. None
- 26:34Speaker 7: of the hockey players were actually injured. It was someone
- 26:39Speaker 7: or some people in the stands.
- 26:40Speaker 9: Yeah, so what you know, you're try and take the
- 26:43Speaker 9: best light out of something ugly.
- 26:45Speaker 7: Oh and the other thing, the identity the shooter, Robert Dorgan,
- 26:49Speaker 7: who also went by the name Roberta Esposita. And there's
- 26:54Speaker 7: obviously some issues going on there. I'm assuming that she Roberta,
- 27:01Speaker 7: was trans, I would guess. And those people go through
- 27:04Speaker 7: it just a hell of it. I know a couple
- 27:07Speaker 7: of people that are trans and what they go through
- 27:09Speaker 7: is just I wouldn't. Oh, it's just living surgeries. Yeah no, no,
- 27:15Speaker 7: not the surgeries. It's how society, yeah, house, no, how
- 27:19Speaker 7: society treats people who are trans. Just to be gay
- 27:22Speaker 7: people are now are pretty well accepted. I mean, you know,
- 27:27Speaker 7: a big deal, you're gay, But if you're trans, you're
- 27:31Speaker 7: now you're back to where gay's the way gay folks
- 27:35Speaker 7: were treated, you know here the four here before the
- 27:38Speaker 7: gay rights civils, was.
- 27:40Speaker 4: There a lot of gay shootings. Oh yeah, there were.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Oh there was some brutal not shootings.
- 27:48Speaker 9: I mean, I'm asking gay people go and shoot Oh
- 27:53Speaker 9: did they shoot up?
- 27:54Speaker 4: No, No, that's no. It's just the point I'm.
- 27:57Speaker 7: Making because there's so few of people that are trans
- 28:04Speaker 7: that are shooters, or so few gay people are shooters. Yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 7: I think we're going you and I are going off
- 28:12Speaker 7: in different directions here.
- 28:14Speaker 9: No, I'm just curious that during the oppression of gays
- 28:17Speaker 9: there wasn't the same thing, but with trands there seems
- 28:20Speaker 9: to be at least a tiny little trend happened.
- 28:23Speaker 7: Yeah, and I don't know the stats, but okay, I'll
- 28:26Speaker 7: buy that, or I want or.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Okay, you should be thanking the president. That's the word
- 28:33Speaker 2: from Borders Our Tom Homan. He told Minnesota leaders that
- 28:37Speaker 2: they should be grateful the Trump administration made their states safer.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Some called on the federal government to reimburse damages they
- 28:45Speaker 2: claim were caused during immigration enforcement operations. Holman said a
- 28:51Speaker 2: lot of things were broken, but it wasn't because of
- 28:53Speaker 2: the Trump administration.
- 28:54Speaker 4: No, absolutely not.
- 28:55Speaker 7: It wasn't because of the Trump administration that people were shot.
- 28:59Speaker 7: That people who are American citizens were picked up and
- 29:02Speaker 7: what we saw on video.
- 29:04Speaker 4: Just remember who are you gonna.
- 29:06Speaker 7: Believe me or your lion eyes in terms of what
- 29:09Speaker 7: the administration did or what Ice has done. Yeah, they
- 29:12Speaker 7: don't back down at all. Never, you always double down.
- 29:18Speaker 9: Bass at Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass, who is it's interesting,
- 29:23Speaker 9: is talking about people stepping down. She says that Wasserman,
- 29:28Speaker 9: who is heading up the LA twenty eight Olympics here
- 29:32Speaker 9: in LA, should step down because his name shows up
- 29:37Speaker 9: during flirty emails with convicted sex traffickers Laye Maxwell. But
- 29:44Speaker 9: none of them talked about like children or anything. He
- 29:47Speaker 9: was hitting on her, right, Yeah.
- 29:49Speaker 7: Well it was with Julane Maxwell and Epstein, the only
- 29:54Speaker 7: quote wrongdoers in all of this, I think, and Prince Andrew,
- 29:58Speaker 7: of course he's a head of the list. Wasserman looks
- 30:02Speaker 7: I think the worst, not in terms of any criminality,
- 30:05Speaker 7: but I think he was sexting with that Jela Maxwell,
- 30:08Speaker 7: and I think there were a lot of that kind
- 30:11Speaker 7: of flirtatious texting back and forth.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Okay, so is it about kids or no?
- 30:16Speaker 7: No, no, no, it wasn't about kids. It wasn't about
- 30:18Speaker 7: kids at all from what I understand.
- 30:20Speaker 2: And this is all twenty years ago.
- 30:22Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the other thing, is twenty years ago. I mean,
- 30:24Speaker 7: how far back do you go you want to get
- 30:27Speaker 7: the pedos. Yeah, I don't think he was a pedophile.
- 30:31Speaker 7: I think because of his connection, any connection to Epstein
- 30:34Speaker 7: is toxic. I don't care what it is at this point.
- 30:37Speaker 7: And so he stepped down. He sold his agency. He
- 30:40Speaker 7: was one of the moguls. I mean, his agency is
- 30:42Speaker 7: one of the big, big players in Washington. And so
- 30:45Speaker 7: now you've got Bass saying he shouldn't be head of
- 30:47Speaker 7: the twenty twenty eight Summer Games, which he is, and
- 30:49Speaker 7: the Olympic Committee still maintains that he's going to stay there.
- 30:52Speaker 7: And I don't think Karen Bass has any influence whatsoever.
- 30:56Speaker 7: I don't think she can make that call at all.
- 30:59Speaker 7: So go ahead and enjoy yourself.
- 31:01Speaker 2: She's actually said that, she said I can't fire him,
- 31:04Speaker 2: but she's asked him to step down. And now today
- 31:07Speaker 2: that a little bit later, they're going to have a
- 31:09Speaker 2: little gathering of people, some other city leaders and others
- 31:12Speaker 2: who are going to say, yeah, step down, step down.
- 31:15Speaker 2: They don't have the authority to do it.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, that's just for TV. Yeah, it is it's
- 31:19Speaker 4: just all for public consumption. All right, guys, We're done
- 31:23Speaker 4: with that. You've been listening to The Bill Handle Show.
- 31:25Speaker 7: Catch My Show Monday through Friday, six am to nine am,
