- 0:04Speaker 1: It's a podcast called twenty five Wist talking for and
- 0:08Speaker 1: they were a whist. So yeah, it's too bad, But
- 0:12Speaker 1: what did you expect. It's a podcast called twenty five
- 0:15Speaker 1: Whist twenty line.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Who hit it? Thank you? It's the dog days, man,
- 0:23Speaker 2: there's nothing happening. There's no sports. I'm betting on WNBA yesterday.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Uh oh, that's trouble, not really because I hit big, Okay.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I bet Caitlin Clark plus twelve points, Eliah Boston plus
- 0:35Speaker 2: ten points, Page Backers plus fifteen points, and I won
- 0:38Speaker 2: a thousand bucks.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Nice solid.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Yeah, there was nothing on. There's nothing, dude.
- 0:44Speaker 2: So I didn't want to watch like the Future Stars
- 0:47Speaker 2: All Star Baseball game. That stuff's interest me at all.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I did watch the baseball draft just to see where
- 0:53Speaker 2: that's boring.
- 0:54Speaker 1: You gotta do this. That's the worst of the draft.
- 0:56Speaker 4: I know.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I had a dad coming up to me a basketball
- 0:58Speaker 1: price and be like you keeping up with him? Like nope,
- 1:00Speaker 1: all right.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I wanted to see where Ethan Holliday would go because
- 1:03Speaker 2: Matt Holliday's a friend of mine. Oh yeah, and so
- 1:04Speaker 2: he ended up going four to Colorado, which Matt played
- 1:06Speaker 2: for Colorado. So it's super cool, So I mean is cool.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yeah, he got drafted by the Rockies, right Matt did.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Yeah, like seventh round. Matt was also like a four
- 1:18Speaker 2: star quarterback in high school back in the day. Yeah,
- 1:20Speaker 2: he was seventh round in nineteen ninety eight, I believe.
- 1:23Speaker 2: And so Ethan fourth overall. That's cool, pretty cool, Like
- 1:28Speaker 2: it's like six foot four, he's four inches taller than
- 1:30Speaker 2: his brother, maybe three inches taller than his brother who
- 1:32Speaker 2: got drafted number one overall two years ago by Baltimore. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 2: so that is a blood line. Yeah, seriously, like two
- 1:39Speaker 2: boys both the number one high school player when they
- 1:42Speaker 2: came out one went number one overall, won number four over.
- 1:44Speaker 3: And their entire family, right I remember if I remember correctly,
- 1:47Speaker 3: like grandpa and everybody played oh yeah, like high like
- 1:49Speaker 3: football or baseball players from back in the day.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And was Ethan at uh Oklahoma State?
- 1:54Speaker 2: No, he was in high school? Oh still Water?
- 1:57Speaker 1: Still Okay? I saw still Water? Soith th that? Okay,
- 1:59Speaker 1: got it?
- 1:59Speaker 2: Shout out of high schuh, So that happened. There's nothing though,
- 2:02Speaker 2: And Eddie and I go through in a few minutes,
- 2:04Speaker 2: like all my favorite videos from TikTok we kind of
- 2:06Speaker 2: walked through that. That's where we are in sports right now.
- 2:07Speaker 1: There's a lot of TikTok.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm so entertained by the always a lot of TikTok.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I sent Eddie a video last night. It's a kid,
- 2:15Speaker 2: he's like seven years old, and he's learning how to
- 2:17Speaker 2: hit a ball off a tee and the coach is like, okay,
- 2:19Speaker 2: look what you want to do when you swing, you
- 2:21Speaker 2: want to make sure you get your chest out in
- 2:23Speaker 2: front and you follow it through.
- 2:24Speaker 1: And the kids like, got.
- 2:25Speaker 2: It, whack nails it, hits it right into the coach
- 2:28Speaker 2: like just hits while the coaches standing in front of
- 2:30Speaker 2: the tee.
- 2:30Speaker 1: That's what I understand. The coach knew like he was
- 2:32Speaker 1: facing right towards them, but the.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Coach wasn't like hit now. He was just saying, like,
- 2:35Speaker 2: when you want to do it. He was standing by
- 2:36Speaker 2: the tea, just showing him, and the kid just goes, okay,
- 2:39Speaker 2: whack and just drills him right in the chest, hits
- 2:42Speaker 2: it hard.
- 2:43Speaker 3: How old is the kid?
- 2:44Speaker 2: Seven? Oh?
- 2:44Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm talking about at least it was.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Close.
- 2:50Speaker 2: It's close, maybe right above him, right in the chest.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy. So you've seen those videos where but
- 3:01Speaker 1: very much.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Oh that was a loud pop.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I'm telling you I get ripped it right
- 3:10Speaker 2: into them. What are you saying?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Those videos were like they just show like they're shown
- 3:14Speaker 1: them just like a regular baseball play, but the ball
- 3:16Speaker 1: fall flies right into the lens where you watch it.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It freaks me out every time.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no sports. Uh. The Office spin off, The Paper,
- 3:24Speaker 2: will premiere on Peacock September fourth, which I think it's
- 3:27Speaker 2: going to be good because most people don't expect it
- 3:29Speaker 2: to be good. It can't possibly be as good as
- 3:32Speaker 2: The Office because The Office was a part of our
- 3:34Speaker 2: lives for not only the years while it was on,
- 3:36Speaker 2: it's remained in our lives. We formed a relationship with it.
- 3:39Speaker 2: That's why it's so good. It's the same reason a
- 3:42Speaker 2: movie is never as good as a book, because the
- 3:44Speaker 2: book has time. The book you're able to read on
- 3:49Speaker 2: your own page. You're able to get to know the characters.
- 3:51Speaker 2: The book has four hundred pages. The book a movie
- 3:54Speaker 2: has three hours. So people are like, man, the movie's
- 3:57Speaker 2: never as good as the book. Of course, you have
- 4:00Speaker 2: three hours with the movie. You just spent two weeks
- 4:01Speaker 2: with the book thinking about it. In between. It's the
- 4:05Speaker 2: same thing when shows there's no way this show's gonna
- 4:10Speaker 2: be any good, except I just don't think they'd put
- 4:12Speaker 2: it out if it wasn't really good. Like I'm gonna
- 4:13Speaker 2: go I'm gonna zag on this. Most people are going,
- 4:16Speaker 2: there's no way this show is gonna suck. I think
- 4:18Speaker 2: it'll be good.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Are you gonna be locked in or just kind of
- 4:20Speaker 3: see how it goes.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I'll have to see how it goes because I don't
- 4:23Speaker 2: think there's a whole lot of continuation. There may be
- 4:26Speaker 2: a character or two. I don't really know what's happening.
- 4:28Speaker 2: There have been rumors about other characters, like showing up
- 4:30Speaker 2: in the paper. But so I'm only only gonna be
- 4:35Speaker 2: locked in if the sense of if I think it's
- 4:38Speaker 2: funny by itself. I'm not really gonna lock in because
- 4:40Speaker 2: it's just a derivative of the Office or to spin
- 4:43Speaker 2: off the Office.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I mean they should throw chit in there. Yeah, I mean,
- 4:47Speaker 1: shit is so funny. It seems like he should be
- 4:49Speaker 1: perfect for an office kind of show. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 1: do it. Lady, did you see the one I sent
- 4:53Speaker 1: you last night?
- 4:54Speaker 2: I'd seen it before, so yeah, yeah, yeah, do you
- 5:00Speaker 2: know hit. No, you got a no chick, I'll send
- 5:04Speaker 2: you some hit.
- 5:11Speaker 3: So he's just like a TikTok guy or they're like
- 5:12Speaker 3: a show.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It's a character. Okay, he plays a character and the show.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Because Reid was with us this weekend. We took Read
- 5:19Speaker 2: to play golf when he was in town and we're like, Read,
- 5:21Speaker 2: are you watching Chit? He's like no, So I sent
- 5:23Speaker 2: him a chip video and he goes, oh, I've seen
- 5:24Speaker 2: this thought it was a TV show, Like, no, they
- 5:26Speaker 2: shoot this. He's in like the Groundlings and they just
- 5:29Speaker 2: created a character. Two of those guys did they created Chit?
- 5:32Speaker 2: He just does the sketches and his his whole profile
- 5:35Speaker 2: has like eighteen videos on it and it's only chit
- 5:38Speaker 2: and all the videos of millions of views, every single
- 5:39Speaker 2: one of them.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Really did retell? You forgot his headphones, forgot him where
- 5:44Speaker 3: and to come over after you guys played golf on Friday,
- 5:46Speaker 3: had to come over where my house? He left him
- 5:49Speaker 3: at the studio memory he was here last week. So
- 5:52Speaker 3: he texted me the next day He's like, Hey, did
- 5:54Speaker 3: I leave my headphone the studio? Can you check from me?
- 5:58Speaker 5: So?
- 6:00Speaker 3: And he's like, can you take him.
- 6:01Speaker 2: To your house.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I'll make him up later. Yes, So after you guys
- 6:03Speaker 3: playing golf, he came over and grabbed his headphones.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Class agreed, it's good to see all read.
- 6:07Speaker 1: It was good to see Reid. Yeah, that's that guy.
- 6:11Speaker 2: He had a rough day playing golf. But he was
- 6:12Speaker 2: also playing with like my youthed clubs.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Because I felt bad for him.
- 6:15Speaker 2: He's left handed, and he's like, yeah, I play, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 6:19Speaker 2: yeah close. So I went into the house real quick,
- 6:22Speaker 2: and I'd got my tooth that day too, like I had.
- 6:25Speaker 2: They're like, let's just play golf, and so I couldn't
- 6:27Speaker 2: play it like two because my tooth, you know, getting
- 6:30Speaker 2: my numbed up and stuff was a one. So doing
- 6:33Speaker 2: my tooth players looks good, nice, and he does look
- 6:35Speaker 2: can't even tell yeah, And I go straight to the
- 6:37Speaker 2: golf course and reads the one whoanted to play earlier.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Still he was like fifteen minutes late with uthed clubs,
- 6:42Speaker 2: and Eddie and I tied. Why do you why do
- 6:43Speaker 2: you have a boner about being better than me at golf?
- 6:45Speaker 2: You're not better than me at golf. I beat you
- 6:47Speaker 2: like eighty pound.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I'm better than you at golf. You're literally not yeah,
- 6:49Speaker 1: because like when we play golf, it's it's recreational. To me,
- 6:52Speaker 1: it's just a good time. But every time, like we
- 6:55Speaker 1: get to about whole fourteen thirteen, Bobby's like, what do
- 6:59Speaker 1: you got? And then I'm like, oh, we caught him up.
- 7:01Speaker 1: He's like, all right, I got you by one, and
- 7:02Speaker 1: then I'm like, oh, okay, here we go. Now it's
- 7:04Speaker 1: a competition, and then we start like battling it out
- 7:07Speaker 1: when like one person has a stroke lead, and I
- 7:10Speaker 1: feel like, if we're gonna do this, let's just play, dude.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Let's just do a four round tournament and whoever wins
- 7:16Speaker 1: it is just the better golfer.
- 7:17Speaker 2: That's fine, But what's up for grabs?
- 7:19Speaker 1: Because I'm better at golfer.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I'm already better than you're not though you think you are,
- 7:23Speaker 2: but you're not. If we've played twenty times, I bet
- 7:25Speaker 2: you have won fourteen of them.
- 7:27Speaker 1: But that's been fun rounds.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It's like, okay, that's it's also fun for me. And
- 7:32Speaker 2: also have my mouth. We tied right out of the
- 7:34Speaker 2: dentist with a shot up mouth.
- 7:36Speaker 3: You tied exactly well.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I mean I was up by two and then I
- 7:39Speaker 1: three putted and.
- 7:40Speaker 3: At the end.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I was winning going to the last hole.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Oh no, yeah, oh oh that's it. That's it. Yeah,
- 7:47Speaker 1: he can't even remember. Yeah, because it's all fun in
- 7:49Speaker 1: the woods.
- 7:50Speaker 3: But do you think you would be better than if
- 7:52Speaker 3: you were focused?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Absolutely? I think he's better if he's not focused.
- 7:55Speaker 1: If I started the round being like, all right, this
- 7:57Speaker 1: is a competition, dominate you what in the dust?
- 8:00Speaker 2: What's your nickname?
- 8:02Speaker 1: The one you gave me? What is your nickname? The
- 8:04Speaker 1: one you gave me? Cookie? The cookie? You know?
- 8:05Speaker 2: Why is the cookie? The boy loves to crumble?
- 8:12Speaker 1: Crumble You think you think the tiger is telling people
- 8:16Speaker 1: wutts like you crumble? No, no, he just beats him straight.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Bobby is like mental warfare out there.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Not true again coming from the dentist. Uh rushing and
- 8:28Speaker 2: he got there plenty of time. I pulled up d
- 8:30Speaker 2: he's just hitting balls on the ground.
- 8:32Speaker 1: There's no there was no hitting.
- 8:35Speaker 3: You're playing to like if you're gonna say, if you're
- 8:37Speaker 3: gonna talk crap, right, like if you know somebody's mentally strong,
- 8:40Speaker 3: you're not, you're gonna back off a little bit. But
- 8:42Speaker 3: like if you know that they crumble the cookie, the
- 8:45Speaker 3: cookie may crumble if you might present a reason.
- 8:48Speaker 1: That's not the gentleman's sport way of doing it.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I'm happy to play against you, and we could do
- 8:52Speaker 2: a four round of yes, like.
- 8:54Speaker 3: A full on the US, and we keep scores through all.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Of that, and we have to make every put no gimmes,
- 9:01Speaker 1: every pay.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah, we should do gimmes because that makes the.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Mental part of it, like you have that, see, because
- 9:05Speaker 1: he does that too, and then when I make him
- 9:07Speaker 1: planies like oh, you're not gonna give it to me.
- 9:08Speaker 2: But when you normally play, have you ever played in
- 9:12Speaker 2: the tournament?
- 9:13Speaker 1: No? No, never, there's no gimmes and tournaments.
- 9:15Speaker 2: That's why I just asked, have you ever played in
- 9:17Speaker 2: a tournament?
- 9:17Speaker 1: No?
- 9:18Speaker 2: Okay, So I've played in a few tournaments and they
- 9:20Speaker 2: do yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Oh wait, what do you mean, Like, no, not a
- 9:22Speaker 1: celebrity tournament. Yes, I've played those, but I haven't played
- 9:24Speaker 1: like real competitive college or high school tournament. Never done that.
- 9:28Speaker 2: But even in the tournament you've played in, they give
- 9:30Speaker 2: you the putts.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's because no one's watching. It's not real.
- 9:34Speaker 1: That's just for charity. Like that's not real. Okay, Hey,
- 9:37Speaker 1: you want to you want to play, let's play.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I'm not going to play unless you make it worth
- 9:41Speaker 2: my while.
- 9:42Speaker 3: What would that take?
- 9:43Speaker 1: Like money?
- 9:46Speaker 2: Money?
- 9:46Speaker 3: Because motivated it can't be money.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Why do like, okay, I'm motivated. No, Like what like
- 9:58Speaker 1: what would motivate you? Then?
- 9:59Speaker 2: M you're making this presentation that you want to play
- 10:02Speaker 2: some four round tournament. You present what the options are
- 10:09Speaker 2: I could be in, But right now I'm not motivated
- 10:12Speaker 2: by money. I could put money on your side, like
- 10:14Speaker 2: if you went sure four rounds, I give you five
- 10:17Speaker 2: hundred bucks if you mean me, But what do you
- 10:19Speaker 2: offer me?
- 10:21Speaker 1: I have to think about that. But give me give
- 10:24Speaker 1: me an idea of like what I don't know tickles
- 10:27Speaker 1: your fancy.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I know you want money, a trophy, like what like
- 10:30Speaker 2: that's not fun for me?
- 10:32Speaker 1: Like yeah, so so tell me what would be fun
- 10:34Speaker 1: for you? Hm hmm Like public shame? Like what's fun
- 10:39Speaker 1: for you?
- 10:39Speaker 2: That's public shame for you?
- 10:41Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 10:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and you have to like put up on socials
- 10:44Speaker 3: and all that.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Something, yeah, like an array of.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Public declaration.
- 10:53Speaker 1: So like I suck.
- 10:55Speaker 2: No, not even that. I would just say two hours
- 11:02Speaker 2: on a busy street holding a sign that says Bobby
- 11:03Speaker 2: Bones is a way better golfer than me. Two hours
- 11:08Speaker 2: we're talking about that's not even all.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Oh, that's just one thing.
- 11:10Speaker 2: We're talking about five hundred bucks here on my side,
- 11:13Speaker 2: you don't have to have money.
- 11:14Speaker 1: We can play. I can do public too. Now that
- 11:17Speaker 1: isn't that doesn't do anything.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah, so I would go two hours.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Let's I can just make a bunch of lies publically.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Two hours of street sign that's one, while also streaming
- 11:30Speaker 2: it on Instagram live. Yeah, two hours to be honest. Yeah,
- 11:34Speaker 2: and what does it say, like hour Bobby Bones is
- 11:38Speaker 2: a way better golfer than me. Number two, you have
- 11:42Speaker 2: to come and completely grilled dinner and serve it to us.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And not make eye contact with you.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Guys, and serve it to us in a superhero costume.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Ah yeah, yeah, very weird.
- 11:59Speaker 1: So that that's kind of stuff you like.
- 12:00Speaker 2: This will be the second part of it, more public shaming.
- 12:02Speaker 1: So this is your fantasy.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Yes, my wife and I okay, so this is the deal.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I'll make that bet with you, like abatisel, No, I'm
- 12:14Speaker 2: two hours on the street and then you have to
- 12:17Speaker 2: go to party city or whatever and get a mutually
- 12:21Speaker 2: agreed upon superhero costume and you have to grill steaks
- 12:25Speaker 2: or whatever my wife wants. Sides uh and serve them.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Hold on the superhero costumes from both do I do?
- 12:32Speaker 1: Am I wearing the superhero costume on the street too?
- 12:34Speaker 2: You know? Then you mentioned it. That's what you said,
- 12:38Speaker 2: now that you mentioned it, Yes, you do. And those
- 12:39Speaker 2: are my terms. And if you want those terms, I
- 12:41Speaker 2: mean I'll add nothing else.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Okay, I like it. You want the terms, I want
- 12:44Speaker 1: the terms, and mine's five hundred dollars.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Okay, deal, not only that.
- 12:49Speaker 1: No, you said that was it? We already signed for more.
- 12:52Speaker 2: No, No, those terms are done.
- 12:54Speaker 1: But oh then these are golf terms.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Golf terms.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Let's go every putt.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I don't think you should ever put I think we
- 13:02Speaker 2: should play like competitive like we normally do.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Every put counts and if we're shoot in the like
- 13:06Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty, like, that's what we get. That's fine.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Three rounds or four round and we have to have rules.
- 13:14Speaker 2: But see that's the point.
- 13:15Speaker 1: What's what's the point is that we don't Kevin can
- 13:18Speaker 1: be our rules.
- 13:19Speaker 2: We don't even know the real rules. We don't play
- 13:21Speaker 2: that like the super real rules.
- 13:23Speaker 1: You're right about that.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Yeah, we have to establish them. Well, before you guys
- 13:26Speaker 3: even begin to play.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Correct and somebody needs to be there watching it a witness. Yeah,
- 13:33Speaker 1: but that's boring.
- 13:34Speaker 2: If Kevin like comes out as just a rule.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Game, man, it's just part of it.
- 13:37Speaker 3: You know what what am I getting out of it?
- 13:40Speaker 1: You can be a superhero too?
- 13:42Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I'm in.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Okay, I like it.
- 13:46Speaker 2: We can play our first round this week?
- 13:48Speaker 1: Whoa already? Hold on? Four round you just you're announcing
- 13:51Speaker 1: the masters today, dude, We're not even ready for this.
- 13:53Speaker 2: But the Master's starting. It's all over. It's a month
- 13:55Speaker 2: to play this.
- 13:56Speaker 3: It's true.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Oh, we can't play four rounds in a.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Row, justst we're married. We can't even do to and
- 14:02Speaker 2: two days yeah right, we don't even know we can
- 14:04Speaker 2: finish around Yeah, so okay, I'm in. Okay five hundred
- 14:08Speaker 2: bucks versus it's two hours on a busy street in
- 14:13Speaker 2: a superhero costume and you have to grow us our dinner.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you paying for the dinner.
- 14:18Speaker 2: I don't know if I should.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I mean, am I paying for the dinner? I don't
- 14:23Speaker 1: know anymore more than five hundred dollars? Am I gonna
- 14:25Speaker 1: rent the whole costume too?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Rent it? It's like twenty bucks.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Yeah, do you know what? Costume doesn't matter?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Mutually agreed upon? Ok Like, he'll have to go.
- 14:33Speaker 3: And like Superman can give you some options and be.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Like, wait, Superman is pretty good.
- 14:36Speaker 6: I was thinking wonder Woman.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Oh, wonder Woman's even better than nothing wrong with that,
- 14:40Speaker 2: mutually agreed upon?
- 14:41Speaker 1: Okay, good deal sounds good. Can't wait? This will be fun, dude,
- 14:45Speaker 1: and then finally we'll never ever talk about it again.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Are you guys playing the same course every time?
- 14:50Speaker 2: I just imagine we can get on. I mean, well,
- 14:51Speaker 2: play my club. That's probably the easiest peruson to get it.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Do you want to find courses?
- 14:55Speaker 3: I'm just saying it's it's hard to like you're talking about,
- 14:57Speaker 3: it's hard to get one every week you have to go,
- 15:00Speaker 3: especially right now midsummer.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I'm finding the days you've probably played at my club
- 15:06Speaker 2: almost many times.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no advantage there, Yeah, because I.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Think anytime I've played it and like, an you want
- 15:10Speaker 2: to come play? Yeah?
- 15:11Speaker 1: So all right, cool, you're going down punk. We still
- 15:15Speaker 1: a press conference and everything we talked crap, this is it?
- 15:19Speaker 2: This is it? Yeah, this loser?
- 15:23Speaker 1: What's up.
- 15:26Speaker 2: You?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Okay?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah? Play today? How it's closed today my courses. We
- 15:32Speaker 2: could go play somewhere else. I can't do it today,
- 15:34Speaker 2: all right, all right, so we're in.
- 15:35Speaker 1: We'll just figure out that. I'm telling you the data.
- 15:38Speaker 1: So we do. We're like, we're going to do it,
- 15:39Speaker 1: and then we never get a round. Know, we're doing it.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Four rounds is a lot, yeah, but we will do
- 15:44Speaker 1: that eventually. So four rounds whenever it gets done. Those
- 15:47Speaker 1: what are we doing?
- 15:47Speaker 2: Three rounds?
- 15:48Speaker 1: Now? You got to keep it real and wait, so
- 15:50Speaker 1: real quick back to that.
- 15:50Speaker 2: We wouldn't make the cuts. That'd be two rounds, right,
- 15:53Speaker 2: But it's it's total score after four right, yeah, like
- 15:56Speaker 2: we finished one. We don't even have to say our
- 16:00Speaker 2: score got twenty five over. Yeah, it's just gonna be
- 16:02Speaker 2: like Eddy's up by three strokes after eighteen yeah, and.
- 16:06Speaker 1: It's gonna be like whoever wins and the score is
- 16:09Speaker 1: gonna be like eighty over to seventy nine over.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I think we don't do that. I think we just
- 16:16Speaker 2: say what we are in comparison.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, So.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Like you're going to the round two or three, like,
- 16:21Speaker 3: oh I'm up three strokes, yes, okay from the day before.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Yeah, we can talk about it.
- 16:25Speaker 1: But I think we can keep it, you know, yeah,
- 16:27Speaker 1: we can know what.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Our scores are gonna be a lot worse now that
- 16:29Speaker 2: we're having to make all the putts. I think making
- 16:30Speaker 2: the putts is a dumb idea.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Hey man, a golf dude.
- 16:33Speaker 2: It's not golf, it's it's where it lies all that stuff. No,
- 16:38Speaker 2: I'm not messing my club up because it's on a branch.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Then you can do you don't. You can take an unplayable.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Absolutely, so this is in rules. I do not agree
- 16:45Speaker 2: to that rule.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Oh my good golf, the play where it lies.
- 16:49Speaker 2: If it's on a tree, brite, I never hit from rock.
- 16:51Speaker 2: I'm not messing up a club.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Then you take the drop.
- 16:54Speaker 2: No, but we don't make the rule just because you
- 16:56Speaker 2: declare it a rule. We have to agree upon the rule.
- 16:58Speaker 2: And we already play a certain way that you're saying
- 17:00Speaker 2: you're already better than me at the way we play,
- 17:02Speaker 2: So why will we not continue to playing the way
- 17:04Speaker 2: we play if you're already better at me the way
- 17:05Speaker 2: we play?
- 17:05Speaker 1: Because I think if we're going to do it officially,
- 17:07Speaker 1: we have to do it officially.
- 17:08Speaker 2: We're not doing it officially because we're not playing from
- 17:10Speaker 2: the tips.
- 17:10Speaker 1: We're not we're not doing that. No, we won't do that.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I don't want my club to too expensive. I'm not
- 17:17Speaker 2: playing from if it's on a rock or tree, I'm
- 17:20Speaker 2: not hitting that, like yeah, like car path.
- 17:23Speaker 1: No No, I'm saying you don't have to hit it.
- 17:24Speaker 1: You just take a stroke penalty.
- 17:26Speaker 2: No I'm not.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I don't have to hit it. But if you think
- 17:29Speaker 1: it's worth it, if you think that one stroke is
- 17:31Speaker 1: worth it, hit it, dude.
- 17:33Speaker 2: No, because so no tournament.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 17:38Speaker 2: If you're doing every putt and you got to declare
- 17:41Speaker 2: that role, then I should get to say no, I
- 17:43Speaker 2: don't agree to that role. This is the role that
- 17:45Speaker 2: I suggest because we don't usually play that way.
- 17:50Speaker 1: So we're doing every putt. But then, but what is
- 17:52Speaker 1: play it? Play? Where it lie?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Like?
- 17:53Speaker 1: What is it? Club's lengthd Okay, so you can move
- 17:56Speaker 1: it if it's on something, okay, Yeah, I think it's fine.
- 18:00Speaker 1: But if it's in the rough, it's in the rough.
- 18:01Speaker 1: There's no moving it around getting a better lie. Hey
- 18:08Speaker 1: Oakmont baby, Yeah that's fine, Okay, that's fine.
- 18:13Speaker 2: I just don't want to I just want to injure
- 18:14Speaker 2: it up a club for five year it's not a sponsor.
- 18:17Speaker 3: You're not gonna get a new clubs next week.
- 18:18Speaker 2: No, exactly.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Maybe we could get sponsored for this cobra we know. Hey,
- 18:26Speaker 1: any sponsors out there, I want to sponsor.
- 18:29Speaker 2: All right, we're done, let's take a break. We'll come back,
- 18:33Speaker 2: all right. So I have some my favorite videos from
- 18:35Speaker 2: the week. I'm just gonna play for the microphone. This
- 18:38Speaker 2: first one, it's I laughed out loud at this so
- 18:42Speaker 2: hard my wife while she was asleep. And now my
- 18:45Speaker 2: wife wears a sleep mask because I will be on
- 18:48Speaker 2: my phone in the middle of the night and it's
- 18:50Speaker 2: like a sunball in a dark room, and so she
- 18:53Speaker 2: doesn't see the light anymore. But if she feels the
- 18:55Speaker 2: bed start to shake because because she knows I'm laughing.
- 18:58Speaker 2: This clip is from a television show. I believe the
- 19:01Speaker 2: show is called Good Day Now. It looks like it's
- 19:03Speaker 2: for about nineteen ninety one. There are two news anchors,
- 19:07Speaker 2: a man and a woman, and they're talking with a kid.
- 19:10Speaker 2: And the kid looks like to be about twelve, little
- 19:13Speaker 2: pudgy wearing a tie with a white shirt. I just
- 19:15Speaker 2: want to set it all up, and so bro, I
- 19:18Speaker 2: shouldn't I shouldn't laugh at this.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I feel like I just saw it.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so you see the video, right, it looks
- 19:22Speaker 2: like like like nineteen ninety one, the kids you.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Needed fatchoorky, fat ass, double wide, butterball, those sorts of things.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Right, bro, so hard?
- 19:40Speaker 1: He already gave you examples, yes, or and the guy
- 19:42Speaker 1: had a whole list of other names that he felt
- 19:45Speaker 1: like the audience just needed to know because he didn't
- 19:48Speaker 1: hit the big ones.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Dude, why did he keep going?
- 19:51Speaker 1: Oh no, dude, I saw the same clip.
- 19:53Speaker 2: I watched it twice because it just it was It
- 19:55Speaker 2: was beautiful. It was beautifully awkward that adult man didn't
- 19:59Speaker 2: have to go that hard at that kid. What kind
- 20:01Speaker 2: of names were these kids calling you at the pooled? Fat?
- 20:09Speaker 1: Fat ass?
- 20:10Speaker 2: Double why?
- 20:12Speaker 1: Double wide? Dude?
- 20:15Speaker 2: I'm the beat of shaking and what are you doing?
- 20:19Speaker 1: What I love about that video is the reporter is
- 20:21Speaker 1: very professional, Like you know, he's even leaning forward his
- 20:23Speaker 1: ties there like double wide, and then he goes to
- 20:28Speaker 1: bat eight. I know, dude, I hit him with that.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Leave the kid alone. He came on the nudes talking
- 20:33Speaker 2: about bullying and the kids like yeah, yeah, those two.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You good point.
- 20:37Speaker 2: I forgot about those. He probably didn't want to say
- 20:39Speaker 2: those because it's hurt the most. Don't worry, don't worry.
- 20:42Speaker 2: F A, here's another one. And this one I kind
- 20:45Speaker 2: of felt bad for him. And this would have been
- 20:47Speaker 2: a funny sketch, but it wasn't a sketch. So this
- 20:50Speaker 2: is a medical condition this guy has, and the question
- 20:56Speaker 2: was should he get disability benefits for this matter or condition?
- 21:01Speaker 2: And it's like a docu style video and they're walking
- 21:05Speaker 2: with him. It looks like to be shot in about
- 21:06Speaker 2: two thousand and one based on the clothes, and on
- 21:08Speaker 2: the way there, I had my first five orgasms and
- 21:11Speaker 2: they've never stopped. Dale has been unable to work since
- 21:15Speaker 2: the accident and is mostly housebound through fear of experiencing
- 21:18Speaker 2: an episode in public, but he enjoys playing frisbee golf
- 21:22Speaker 2: with his closest friend. He has orgasms NonStop and he
- 21:25Speaker 2: can't stop having.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Oh he's really okay. He's really having orgasm everywhere he.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Goes all the time, and so he can't work because
- 21:32Speaker 2: all the time he's like, oh, now I'm gonna play more.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I keep playing this episode in public. But he enjoys
- 21:38Speaker 1: playing frisbee golf with his closest friends.
- 21:44Speaker 2: He's getting one, he's getting one. He's been down, he's
- 21:49Speaker 2: doubled over, stopped games in any situation.
- 21:54Speaker 1: They happened when on my wake, They happen when I'm sleep.
- 21:57Speaker 1: They happened in the shower.
- 22:00Speaker 2: He's on the ground doubled over because he's in the
- 22:02Speaker 2: middle of one right now.
- 22:03Speaker 1: So why did they have to play that?
- 22:04Speaker 2: They have to show they did it. They did.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Is he playing frisbee?
- 22:08Speaker 2: Yes, it's ha frisbee golf And he's walking to the ball,
- 22:11Speaker 2: but he had a basket, huh.
- 22:13Speaker 1: And he goes, oh, stop dude, And.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Then he gets on his knees on the ground and goes, oh,
- 22:18Speaker 2: why don't we create something like that? No, I think
- 22:20Speaker 2: that's real.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It's not real.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Come on, it was shot in like ninety one. Put
- 22:24Speaker 2: our two thousand and one, because I think a lot
- 22:28Speaker 2: of that stuff that went viral back then we've now
- 22:30Speaker 2: found out isn't true. For example, the girl that said
- 22:34Speaker 2: that she got a shot a vaccine and now she
- 22:39Speaker 2: has to walk backward to us.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yes, yes, fake the whole thing right, like not true?
- 22:44Speaker 1: So I think we would know if that wasn't think
- 22:46Speaker 1: orgasm man has n't come out.
- 22:47Speaker 2: You can find him, I think, does he still have
- 22:50Speaker 2: you googled?
- 22:51Speaker 1: I don't chase that down. Yeah, you don't really want
- 22:53Speaker 1: to google that stuff.
- 22:53Speaker 6: Apparently it is real. It's a condition called PGA D
- 22:57Speaker 6: persistent genital arousal disorder.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I wish you would, like just check into it for
- 23:01Speaker 1: an hour.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Can you like you didn't have it all the time?
- 23:04Speaker 1: But you're like, you know what, I got nothing to
- 23:05Speaker 1: do tonight. But Mike, what are the symptoms?
- 23:07Speaker 2: Like how often hear that guy? Yeah, randomly come on
- 23:11Speaker 2: all of a sudden.
- 23:12Speaker 6: Spontaneous, persistent and unwanted genital arousal in orgasms.
- 23:18Speaker 1: It's not the worst condition to have. I can think
- 23:20Speaker 1: of some worse conditions, but that no, dude, no, because
- 23:23Speaker 1: the timing's terrible. That sucks. But I'm saying there are
- 23:25Speaker 1: worse conditions.
- 23:26Speaker 6: This guy's name is Dale Decker, and he suffers up
- 23:28Speaker 6: to one hundred orgasms a day.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Whoa also sounds like a porn star name.
- 23:34Speaker 2: A day.
- 23:35Speaker 6: One hundred a day.
- 23:37Speaker 1: You imagine if you were like doing one of your
- 23:39Speaker 1: stay that's every twenty minutes.
- 23:40Speaker 6: It was triggered by a slip disc.
- 23:41Speaker 2: That's what he said he got injured.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, so it's just a brain thing when it
- 23:45Speaker 1: just kind of fires.
- 23:47Speaker 2: The same as it would be with someone as Tourette's, Right,
- 23:49Speaker 2: anything that you can't control, or Parkinson's or cause that
- 23:54Speaker 2: you can't control what's happening with your body, that's just
- 23:57Speaker 2: chosen a different part of the body.
- 23:58Speaker 6: It's like some of those people go into serage. They
- 24:00Speaker 6: wake up and they can speak a different language. This
- 24:01Speaker 6: guy woke up and just keeps having orgasms.
- 24:04Speaker 1: What would be the most awkward place to have an orgasm? Church? Yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 1: while you're getting baptized, hold on, giving a ted talk,
- 24:13Speaker 1: hanging out with your parents, meeting your in laws for
- 24:17Speaker 1: the first time.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Tough. Yeah, that's like narcolepsy, because narcolepsy you can't control
- 24:21Speaker 2: all you're asleep.
- 24:22Speaker 6: You can be around children.
- 24:24Speaker 2: This one, you're at dinner and all of a sudden.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Can't be around children. Can be a teacher, Oh my god.
- 24:27Speaker 2: You can't do anything.
- 24:28Speaker 1: You can play.
- 24:28Speaker 2: You can't play frisbee golf without having to stop. Tell
- 24:32Speaker 2: me that's not crazy. Here's another video.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I say.
- 24:35Speaker 2: This is from the Possible Karen Reid movies.
- 24:37Speaker 5: Here we go just twelve days after she was found
- 24:41Speaker 5: not guilty of mowing down her boyfriend, Karen Reid, has
- 24:44Speaker 5: a movie deal. She and her attorney Alan Jackson have
- 24:48Speaker 5: sold the rights to their story, and there's already buzz
- 24:51Speaker 5: about who will play her in the movie.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Speculation centers all right.
- 24:55Speaker 2: So who do you think she'll play Karen Reid?
- 24:57Speaker 1: That's a good question. I like, I think Jennifer Neston
- 25:00Speaker 1: can do a really good job.
- 25:01Speaker 5: First person they mentioned, But Jennifer Anniston or maybe Olivia Wild.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Both physically, yeah, kind of have the vibe. The brown hair,
- 25:11Speaker 2: thin facial features, cheekbones, thin face like pretty.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Hey, dude, bring back Jennifer love Hewitt. She'd be good
- 25:19Speaker 1: at that one.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I don't think that's a bring back. I see Jennifer
- 25:22Speaker 2: woot on TikTok all the time.
- 25:25Speaker 6: I knew what you did last summer movie.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Oh she is?
- 25:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, So I guess maybe she hasn't been like
- 25:30Speaker 2: the main what do you call it, the lead actor? Lead?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I mean she was a nine to
- 25:36Speaker 1: one one. I think, oh yeah, oh.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Yeah, she's never gone ghost whisper show or something, you hater.
- 25:43Speaker 1: So we all see her again.
- 25:44Speaker 5: The actress Annie Murphy of ship's creek.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Is basically her.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Yeah, who is that?
- 25:51Speaker 1: Is that Eugene Levy's.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Daughter, not the real daughter on the show, the character's daughter.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Oh I thought that was real.
- 26:00Speaker 2: No, his real daughter plays is on the show.
- 26:02Speaker 1: That's not his real daughter.
- 26:03Speaker 2: His son plays his son, but she plays his daughter.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Got you on the show, but not his real daughter
- 26:08Speaker 1: in real life. Yeah, I've never seen that show. Good?
- 26:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you like it because I love Eugene Levy
- 26:13Speaker 1: and that whole family. Shit's creak.
- 26:16Speaker 2: It's been so long since I've watched it, but I
- 26:18Speaker 2: loved it.
- 26:19Speaker 6: Yeah, that was a show that just had me, like
- 26:20Speaker 6: in golf. When I watched it immerse in that world and.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Didn't watch it like as it was put out live
- 26:27Speaker 2: because I don't. I think it was on like some
- 26:28Speaker 2: Canadian channel like pop or something, yeah, like pop TV.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Then Netflix picked it up and I started to watch
- 26:34Speaker 2: it like three years after it was out.
- 26:35Speaker 1: But it's been a long time.
- 26:36Speaker 2: You'd really like it.
- 26:37Speaker 1: How many seasons does that have?
- 26:38Speaker 2: It's a fun watch five or six or Okay, I'm
- 26:41Speaker 2: gonna take that one on Alexis Bliss, I like maybe Bliss,
- 26:43Speaker 2: I didn't I think her name is Alexis. Her character's
- 26:46Speaker 2: awesome on the show, not that you like, I want
- 26:49Speaker 2: to be your friend or you really she's just hilarious.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah ah, yeah, you should watch that. Yeah, six seasons,
- 26:53Speaker 1: Ship's Creek. I haven't seen that one, and I haven't
- 26:55Speaker 1: seen All Was Sunny, so two on my list that
- 27:00Speaker 1: I think I really want a lot.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I wouldn't tackle Always Sonny as a I'm going to
- 27:04Speaker 2: finish the whole thing. Always Sonny is an excellent show, right, Mike, Yeah,
- 27:08Speaker 2: like it's really one.
- 27:09Speaker 6: There's seventeen seasons.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, seventeen That is your constant. You're on an airplane,
- 27:15Speaker 2: you you have some download on your phone for what
- 27:19Speaker 2: or you watch them on TikTok. You can watch scenes.
- 27:21Speaker 2: That show is so funny, there's so much. I don't
- 27:25Speaker 2: think you tackle that from episode one, season one and
- 27:27Speaker 2: just go I'm not doing anything else until I finish it.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Yeah. That's a good point, because like, do do you
- 27:31Speaker 1: just go random season five? Episode four?
- 27:34Speaker 2: I do now with It's Always Sunny because I think
- 27:38Speaker 2: I've seen most I don't think I've seen every episode.
- 27:40Speaker 2: They're still making them. Yeah, so I probably haven't seen
- 27:42Speaker 2: the last two seasons. Even I don't think I have either,
- 27:44Speaker 2: but I've seen.
- 27:46Speaker 1: One hundred episodes. But I'm saying for the first time,
- 27:49Speaker 1: I don't really don't even know.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I would say it one one. I just wouldn't make
- 27:51Speaker 2: it like because I'll get it in. I'm not watching
- 27:54Speaker 2: anything else until I finish the show whatever it is.
- 27:56Speaker 2: If it's, you know, an eight episode series on Netflix,
- 28:00Speaker 2: I'm not going to dabble around.
- 28:01Speaker 1: It's like books.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I just try to read two books at once, but
- 28:03Speaker 2: then my brain would get all fried with storylines. So
- 28:07Speaker 2: watch I'll almost call it sonny, That's what I call it.
- 28:09Speaker 2: But I want to see like a people watch it
- 28:12Speaker 2: one one, but don't feel like you have to just
- 28:14Speaker 2: stay on it before you do any other show.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, it's a plus. I mean it's definitely been
- 28:18Speaker 1: on my list, But like you know, like Seinfeld, whenever,
- 28:22Speaker 1: like I want to show my kids about Seinfeld, I'm
- 28:23Speaker 1: not going to take it into episode one season one
- 28:25Speaker 1: just to kind of like set it up. I can
- 28:27Speaker 1: really throw them into Soup Nazi and they'll be like, oh,
- 28:30Speaker 1: I cool.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yes, because you're not really developing with the characters. You're
- 28:33Speaker 2: showing them the texture of the show. The sensibilities of
- 28:35Speaker 2: the show. If you're going to sunny though, do I
- 28:37Speaker 2: need to see that character? It's more more so than Seinfeld,
- 28:40Speaker 2: I would.
- 28:40Speaker 6: Say, yeah, especially in the beginning.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Yes, it's great, but I think it's definitely a humor type.
- 28:46Speaker 2: I don't think it's for everybody. But are you know
- 28:48Speaker 2: my humor? I think it's very irreverent. Okay, yeah, and
- 28:51Speaker 2: at times like it's over the line, it's absurd. It's
- 28:55Speaker 2: really good. Okay, Yeah, I think you like it, but
- 28:57Speaker 2: I think you should watch Shit's Creak first, Okay, and
- 29:00Speaker 2: that can be a show.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I think you just you just watch start from the
- 29:02Speaker 1: beginning all that.
- 29:04Speaker 2: It's really good. You know the show we're watching now,
- 29:06Speaker 2: which I did not expect to be good. And we'll
- 29:10Speaker 2: do it Tuesday or Tuesday on the on the Bobybone Show,
- 29:13Speaker 2: so it'll come up. Is the four seasons? Oh yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 2: the Adam Oh no.
- 29:19Speaker 1: No, Adam, I don't know. See yeah, did you say Adam?
- 29:22Speaker 2: Has that put me on that?
- 29:23Speaker 1: I was about to say Adam, but I didn't.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Maybe you did whatever it was he took me. So
- 29:27Speaker 2: it is, Yeah, Steve Crow, I thought it was going
- 29:29Speaker 2: to be super cornball. I didn't want to watch a
- 29:31Speaker 2: show about three couples in their thirties and forties and fifties, like.
- 29:37Speaker 1: They're from the city, right, going to somebody's house.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Have you seen any of it?
- 29:41Speaker 1: At the very beginning, it's really good.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I loved it. Yeah, I went into it not wanting
- 29:47Speaker 2: to watch it. We don't have a good show right
- 29:48Speaker 2: now because we feel like we've watched, we've turned we've
- 29:51Speaker 2: turned shows upside day.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Man, you can get there if you want a lot.
- 29:54Speaker 2: And so my wife was like, let's watch four seasons.
- 29:56Speaker 2: I was like, I did not want to watch that.
- 29:58Speaker 2: It feels corny and twenty seven minutes y, and it's
- 30:02Speaker 2: tough to do funny stuff now.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Twenty seven minutes thirty minute episodes.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's tough to do funny stuff because I like
- 30:08Speaker 2: my funny and like thirty one seconds on TikTok, and
- 30:10Speaker 2: so to watch the whole show.
- 30:11Speaker 1: That's why they don't make as many movies, right, Mike.
- 30:13Speaker 6: Yeah, they're also not as profitable in movies.
- 30:15Speaker 2: So I was like, I don't want to watch it.
- 30:16Speaker 2: She was just watch one with me kind of passes,
- 30:19Speaker 2: like give me a coupon.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Why was she so persistent? Has she heard that it
- 30:22Speaker 1: was good or we were just.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Looking for something to watch and it got good reviews.
- 30:26Speaker 2: And mostly once I say notice something, then she digs
- 30:28Speaker 2: in and she's like what do yeah?
- 30:30Speaker 1: Uh?
- 30:31Speaker 2: And I watched episode one and I was like, oh, man,
- 30:33Speaker 2: but grudgingly I was like, I like that. Let's do
- 30:35Speaker 2: episode two and we're four in It's it's really good.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Cool.
- 30:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I like Coleman Domingo in it will fourte is
- 30:41Speaker 6: really good.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Who's Coleman Domingo?
- 30:43Speaker 1: Which one?
- 30:43Speaker 6: He's a black guy?
- 30:44Speaker 2: Oh got it with the last name Dimingo. I thought
- 30:47Speaker 2: it was the Italian guy. Oh no, but that's just me.
- 30:52Speaker 1: It's this view man. I thought that was like it
- 30:55Speaker 1: there's a guy.
- 30:55Speaker 2: That's from Italy. Is Domingo Italian?
- 30:58Speaker 1: I don't know, like just lat Man, It's it's yeah, okay,
- 31:00Speaker 1: let me finish parent reader story. It's going to be
- 31:03Speaker 1: her side.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I'm sure for dramatic purposes, they will introduce things that
- 31:08Speaker 2: maybe aren't necessarily flattering to Karen into Alan. So they're
- 31:11Speaker 2: gonna make the movie, and of course they should, and
- 31:13Speaker 2: those lawyers should get paid for it because they did
- 31:14Speaker 2: all that with the purpose of free her, but making
- 31:18Speaker 2: money made money later.
- 31:20Speaker 1: So is this could this be Mike maybe you know
- 31:23Speaker 1: the answer. Is this a big movie company film or
- 31:28Speaker 1: is this like homework.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I don't know they've sold it yet, but I would
- 31:30Speaker 2: assume it's like a Netflix extremely.
- 31:31Speaker 6: Probably like a Lifetime one of those just quick movies
- 31:34Speaker 6: that they make after.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I bet they sell it bigger than that, though. I
- 31:36Speaker 2: bet you Netflix buys a series or a movie. I
- 31:39Speaker 2: think it's such a big story. I would think like
- 31:41Speaker 2: a Hulu or Netflix would get in the on the
- 31:43Speaker 2: jump instead of like the Britney Spears tell all Right,
- 31:46Speaker 2: which was Lifeline. I could be wrong.
- 31:48Speaker 6: It's been a while since they've made a like a
- 31:50Speaker 6: case like this into like a real like theatrical release
- 31:53Speaker 6: or even like a big Netflix movie. So that's why
- 31:55Speaker 6: I say, like one of the lower tier.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Candy, I don't think it'll be a theatrical release.
- 31:59Speaker 2: No, no, yeah, I think Candy. Yeah it was good, Yeah,
- 32:03Speaker 2: but but that murdered that that which one did I watch?
- 32:05Speaker 2: I watched HBO Max one, so they had two of
- 32:07Speaker 2: those at the same time.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Yeah, they did, so that Jessica Biel was one.
- 32:11Speaker 2: I watched the one with the Olson and I thought
- 32:14Speaker 2: it was awesome me too, which, by the way, I
- 32:17Speaker 2: think Jesse Pluming is on a new favorite actor.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Oh he's great gen Erica Matt Damon. I don't know
- 32:23Speaker 1: if my sister made that up or if she read
- 32:25Speaker 1: that somewhere.
- 32:26Speaker 2: I don't feel like he's that though, because I feel
- 32:28Speaker 2: like he gets fat for characters.
- 32:29Speaker 1: He gets skinny for the character.
- 32:30Speaker 6: He's really skinny right now.
- 32:32Speaker 1: You know that I had breakfast with him one time.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Uh.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 1: He was in this band called Cowboys and Indians I
- 32:37Speaker 1: think that was their name, and we did a new
- 32:39Speaker 1: It was in a band, yeah, in Austin and uh
- 32:42Speaker 1: and when I worked for the news, we did a
- 32:44Speaker 1: quick interview with him and then he's like, hey, you
- 32:46Speaker 1: guys want to have breakfast? And then we just sat
- 32:47Speaker 1: and had breakfast with him for like two hours.
- 32:49Speaker 2: You know how baby Billy he started to be once
- 32:53Speaker 2: that role and he started to have a uh white
- 32:55Speaker 2: lotus and all of a sudden, people are wow, look
- 32:58Speaker 2: at his past work. He's really a great actor. He
- 33:00Speaker 2: just didn't have that one spot to really highlight how
- 33:03Speaker 2: Grady was as an actor. I never know how good
- 33:05Speaker 2: actors are, but I can see his name is Walt Walton.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Thank you, I can see you. He's Yeah, he's amazing.
- 33:11Speaker 2: I feel like Jesse Plummet is that to me now
- 33:13Speaker 2: where there have been a couple of roles that have
- 33:14Speaker 2: actually shine the light back on how good he's been
- 33:17Speaker 2: in other stuff too.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Yeah, and he has.
- 33:19Speaker 6: Pretty good range, Like he can do really dramatic stuff,
- 33:21Speaker 6: he can do really good comedic stuff.
- 33:23Speaker 2: He was in the Candy the HBO Maxing. I don't
- 33:26Speaker 2: know if that's why it came up.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Love and Death.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I didn't know if it was because that was a trial,
- 33:31Speaker 2: because it's both Karen Reid. I didn't know if you
- 33:33Speaker 2: were pivoting from that to go there was another series
- 33:35Speaker 2: based on a trial, murder.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean this one was eighties, right or
- 33:39Speaker 1: seventies even late seventies, early eighties, right? Did you like
- 33:43Speaker 1: into like eighty eighty one? You want to know something crazy?
- 33:44Speaker 1: What I think? I still have his phone number, Like
- 33:47Speaker 1: I have his phone number in my phone. Look at
- 33:49Speaker 1: this cowboy, cowboy in Indian and he's the one. He
- 33:51Speaker 1: was the only one. I didn't know his name. I
- 33:53Speaker 1: knew he was an actor because at that time he
- 33:55Speaker 1: had been in Friday Night Lights. He was uh huh,
- 33:59Speaker 1: and that's it. Maybe another movie.
- 34:01Speaker 6: He was in Breaking Bad?
- 34:02Speaker 1: Not not yet then.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I don't think I think he's my favorite actor now
- 34:08Speaker 2: you want to call him? Yeah, no, I do know,
- 34:13Speaker 2: yeah no, And I think I really learned and accepted
- 34:17Speaker 2: that during a series they did together, because I watched
- 34:22Speaker 2: a series.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Is that Fargo?
- 34:25Speaker 2: No?
- 34:25Speaker 1: No, no, no, Civil War? That's a movie. Was was
- 34:29Speaker 1: he in that? Too?
- 34:30Speaker 2: Was he in Fargo?
- 34:32Speaker 1: Let me look here?
- 34:34Speaker 2: So he was in Breaking Bad, he was in Love
- 34:35Speaker 2: and Death, he was in Civil War, Black Mirror? He
- 34:37Speaker 2: was He was awesome more than one too, because it
- 34:41Speaker 2: gets back right. Yeah, yeah, awesome, Killers of the Flower Moon, Fargo,
- 34:48Speaker 2: the whole season of Fargo.
- 34:50Speaker 1: It's awesome. Gosh, which season was that?
- 34:53Speaker 6: I haven't seen that.
- 34:53Speaker 2: It has to be like two or three, I do remember,
- 34:57Speaker 2: because we didn't watch one until way later, and we
- 34:59Speaker 2: didn't watch final one until way later.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Which one was Squeak, the the the Lady, the Girl
- 35:06Speaker 1: from ted Lasso.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, that's a good one.
- 35:10Speaker 1: I don't know what maybe two or two or three?
- 35:11Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 35:11Speaker 2: One of those is that John ham John Ham season.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they all mixed together.
- 35:18Speaker 2: John hamm that season of Fargo where he's the villain,
- 35:21Speaker 2: and again we didn't. I thought Fargo was a comedy,
- 35:25Speaker 2: like straight up. I thought as a comedy about people
- 35:27Speaker 2: that live in North Dakota. And one of our friends like, no,
- 35:31Speaker 2: it's like a drama thriller.
- 35:34Speaker 1: But you knew the movie wasn't a comedy. I've never
- 35:36Speaker 1: seen the movie. No, I didn't. The movie is weird
- 35:38Speaker 1: because it's it's it's a murder mystery, but it's also
- 35:42Speaker 1: a comedy, so like because because the accent is so
- 35:45Speaker 1: funny and overtones.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yes, but would you say it's a comedy the movie
- 35:48Speaker 2: because we watched it and I don't.
- 35:49Speaker 6: There's some yeah, because it's Cohen Brothers, so they kind
- 35:52Speaker 6: of mixed that, like drama, crime and comedy all the time.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Man Fargo, the John Ham season is he is such
- 36:00Speaker 2: a good bad guy, like one of the best villain
- 36:03Speaker 2: characters I think I've ever seen in a television show.
- 36:05Speaker 2: We've done that where I ranked like bad guys. But yeah,
- 36:08Speaker 2: Jesse Pluman is my new favorite actor and he has
- 36:10Speaker 2: something coming out soon.
- 36:14Speaker 1: That I saw he was in.
- 36:18Speaker 2: I don't know, it doesn't matter, dude, you have his number.
- 36:20Speaker 2: That's crazy, I bet there's no way that's still his
- 36:22Speaker 2: number for that long.
- 36:23Speaker 1: It's a it's an Austin area code too.
- 36:25Speaker 2: I don't know, but he doesn't live in Austin. Did
- 36:26Speaker 2: they They did for a minute.
- 36:27Speaker 6: I don't know if they still do.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Him and Kurston dunts.
- 36:30Speaker 1: They did, Yeah, yeah they did.
- 36:32Speaker 6: They might have moved back recently, but I don't know
- 36:34Speaker 6: if they moved again.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Maybe I should just text it, what's up, dude, Jesse? Jesse?
- 36:41Speaker 2: I wonder what I saw him in?
- 36:43Speaker 6: Did you watch Zero Day?
- 36:45Speaker 2: I did? But I just saw him in something recently.
- 36:48Speaker 2: I went to the theaters.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Is he in?
- 36:49Speaker 2: He's on F one?
- 36:50Speaker 6: He's going to be in a new yorgo slanting most movie?
- 36:53Speaker 2: I don't know what you just wan?
- 36:54Speaker 6: Is that the guy who did kinds of kindness and
- 36:56Speaker 6: poor things?
- 36:59Speaker 2: I need to love? Okay, so continue to go through
- 37:01Speaker 2: stuff favorite videos. This is a really cool cover done
- 37:07Speaker 2: by Philip Phillips, who made his name on American idol
- 37:13Speaker 2: way way way back in the day.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Settle down and all be free, This home home, You're
- 37:22Speaker 1: gonna make this place.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Here. He is doing a acoustic cover of a C
- 37:30Speaker 2: d C.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Here you go, mm that was cold in the middle
- 37:39Speaker 1: of the railroad track.
- 37:43Speaker 3: In the crowd knew there was no turning bad.
- 37:50Speaker 5: Right in the thought what can I do?
- 37:54Speaker 2: Can you name it right now?
- 37:55Speaker 1: No? He just fail.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Of course, there was no.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Helps beat, Nimba understruck. That's so good? Tell me that's
- 38:18Speaker 1: not next level good? So good because you really don't
- 38:21Speaker 1: even think that that's an a CDC song at all.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Like it took me a while to even realize what
- 38:26Speaker 1: song he's singing.
- 38:27Speaker 2: And the lyrics were so familiar, and I was like,
- 38:30Speaker 2: I know this, but he changed melody just a bit,
- 38:33Speaker 2: it slowed it down. Its awesome, that's awesome. You've been
- 38:37Speaker 2: then district.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Dude, I saw a really good you know, we talked
- 38:42Speaker 1: about Brian Wilson. I've got some good like tiktoks that
- 38:47Speaker 1: come up with Brian Wilson stories, and this one I'd
- 38:50Speaker 1: never ever heard. And I wish I can credit the
- 38:52Speaker 1: podcast or whatever clip that came up who was telling
- 38:55Speaker 1: the story. But they were talking about.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Eagles.
- 39:01Speaker 1: What's his name, Don Henley? Singer Don Henley?
- 39:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, drummer and singer.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Yeah, there were like five singers or whatever, but yeah,
- 39:08Speaker 1: yeah Don Henley. Uh got a chance to meet Brian Wilson,
- 39:12Speaker 1: and he was like, oh my gosh, I love Brian Wilson.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I wonder if he can sign my vinyl because, like I,
- 39:17Speaker 1: since I was a kid, my first vinyl was pet
- 39:19Speaker 1: Sounds big fan. So he went and bought the vinyl
- 39:23Speaker 1: and he asked Brian Wilson to sign it, and Brian's like,
- 39:25Speaker 1: oh yeah, cool, thank you, Like, yeah, sure, I'll sign
- 39:28Speaker 1: your record, and then he signed uh, he signed too
- 39:35Speaker 1: don thank you for the great music, and then he
- 39:41Speaker 1: crossed out great and then put good, no way, that's
- 39:45Speaker 1: a joke.
- 39:45Speaker 2: That's a joke, and then signed it that's hilarious, and
- 39:49Speaker 2: then he signed it Brian Wilson. That's really cool because
- 39:53Speaker 2: I don't think he was doing that to be a dick.
- 39:55Speaker 2: I think he was doing that to be Helen.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I took it that way, even somebody who because.
- 40:02Speaker 1: It's weird to just give this opinion.
- 40:04Speaker 2: I think now looking at Brian Wilson, he probably was
- 40:07Speaker 2: has some autism. Here's a lot of traits of odd
- 40:09Speaker 2: like being autistic. Probably it's extra focused or at least
- 40:12Speaker 2: there's some traits. In a time when they had no
- 40:14Speaker 2: idea what autism was. And I feel like his sense
- 40:17Speaker 2: of humor is very direct and dry, which is that's funny.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Isn't that funny? I'd never heard that story. And then
- 40:24Speaker 1: he's like this and this is true. The guy was saying,
- 40:26Speaker 1: it's true because I know people that have gone to
- 40:29Speaker 1: Don Henley's house and has seen the record for themselves
- 40:31Speaker 1: on the wall. No, that's good.
- 40:33Speaker 2: I want to give you a couple more here. So
- 40:35Speaker 2: this is a video I saved this. We're in the
- 40:38Speaker 2: music space. I am a it's always Eddie. We're both
- 40:41Speaker 2: massive Counting Crows fans. And this is Adam Durret's and
- 40:47Speaker 2: all of his ladies, eleven goddesses. You won't believe Adam
- 40:49Speaker 2: Durtz managed the bag in his youth. It's it's hilarious,
- 40:53Speaker 2: I know, but don't say anything. Let me just play
- 40:55Speaker 2: the video before we get to.
- 40:56Speaker 4: Because you won't believe Adam Durrett's managed to bag in
- 40:59Speaker 4: his youth. Number One Emmy Rossam Adam Durrett started dating

- 41:31Speaker 4: relationship in two thousand and two.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Number five Mary Louise Parker.

- 41:39Speaker 4: nineteen ninety seven. The relationship lasted for about a year.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Number six Jennifer Aniston. In the mid nineteen nineties, Jennifer

- 42:03Speaker 4: a brief relationship in two thousands.
- 42:05Speaker 2: And then they're just like supermodels after this that I
- 42:07Speaker 2: don't know them from shows, but they're all like.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Samantha Mathis was a model, a Victoria's Secret model.
- 42:11Speaker 2: It just goes on and on.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, dude, he was a good looking dude,
- 42:17Speaker 1: like he had dreads. He was cool, his music was awesome.
- 42:20Speaker 1: He's a rock star. I didn't know you dated Jennifer
- 42:22Speaker 1: Anisen too. I knew Courtney Cox. Both like close to
- 42:25Speaker 1: each other. Too ballsy to get both from friends. Yeah,
- 42:30Speaker 1: that's it. And then Laura Flymboyle. Dude, I loved her.
- 42:35Speaker 2: I recognized her once they showed her a picture. If
- 42:37Speaker 2: you would have said that, like, is that an actress?
- 42:39Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:40Speaker 2: I don't know what.
- 42:40Speaker 1: She's from Wayne's World. She's a little girl that highway
- 42:44Speaker 1: hits the bike, hits the cars. He's riding the bike.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Don't remember it. I think I remember the scene, but
- 42:49Speaker 2: I don't remember who it was. Yeah, they're all right,
- 42:51Speaker 2: I got a couple more here, let's go over to sports.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Yeah we should do that.
- 42:57Speaker 2: This is a video of my wife and I we're
- 43:00Speaker 2: uh sending each other videos that made us oddly emotional.
- 43:04Speaker 2: And she had sent one at like some dance at
- 43:06Speaker 2: a wedding, and I sent her this one, and so
- 43:09Speaker 2: this is his final bat plan for the a's no no, no, no,
- 43:17Speaker 2: the a's oh sorry angels because they wear an A.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Yeah sorry, man, that's a brain fart. So okay, like,
- 43:24Speaker 2: oh crap, he's uh, you're not no, You're not gonna know.
- 43:37Speaker 2: So it's Stephen Vote. It's his last Stephen vote vogt.
- 43:40Speaker 2: I think they spelled his lasted bat. So they have
- 43:42Speaker 2: his kids up announcing him in his very lasted bat
- 43:43Speaker 2: ever before he retires, and so he gets up and
- 43:45Speaker 2: he wasn't like he was good. He wasn't like a
- 43:47Speaker 2: super superstar. And so he gets up and it's like,
- 43:50Speaker 2: it's cool because his kids are announcing him, and that
- 43:53Speaker 2: to me is fine. But it's like all his kids up.
- 43:54Speaker 1: There, that's pretty cool. It's cool.
- 43:56Speaker 2: But kids made their.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Way up to the.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Last day. He's emotional, last bat and now he's running
- 44:11Speaker 2: aund the bases.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Like, oh my god, that's awesome.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Well, we asked for foodmore from Steven Vote and he
- 44:19Speaker 2: gave it to me.
- 44:20Speaker 1: That's how it had to happen, and that is how
- 44:22Speaker 1: it had to happen.
- 44:24Speaker 2: And he goes out and gets a curtain call and
- 44:26Speaker 2: he's got chills.
- 44:27Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, I don't know why that stuff
- 44:30Speaker 1: gets me, man, but it gets me the same as you.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Yeah. And so my wife was like, yeah, that's cool.
- 44:36Speaker 2: And then she sent me one and I was like, yeah,
- 44:38Speaker 2: that's cool. So we were affected by different things.
- 44:39Speaker 1: But that one really got me. That's awesome.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Steven Vote is a former Major League baseball catcher, coach
- 44:44Speaker 2: and current manager of the Cleveland Guardians. You see the
- 44:46Speaker 2: video of them throwing some flowers CIEs down the.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Other day, Yes, I I got you, got it, got it,
- 44:51Speaker 1: got it? He was like, yeah, that was funny.
- 44:54Speaker 2: He also won a World two with the Atlanta Braves,
- 44:57Speaker 2: So I mean, I can and give you stats. But
- 45:01Speaker 2: that's maybe why you know him now as the manager.
- 45:03Speaker 2: And the video that went viral last week of awesome. Yeah, okay, boom,
- 45:08Speaker 2: all right, let me say there's anything else. I wonder
- 45:12Speaker 2: what this is because I save all these and this
- 45:14Speaker 2: is a sea turtle getting help.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Okay, no idea. Oh let me tell you about this video.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Can I see it?
- 45:22Speaker 2: So what you see is a sea turtle that crawls
- 45:24Speaker 2: up on the side on the side of a boat.
- 45:25Speaker 2: It's a big turtle, big turtle and puts his arms
- 45:28Speaker 2: over the boat. Now the turtle opens his mouth and
- 45:32Speaker 2: he has all of like these shards of metal and
- 45:36Speaker 2: aluminum in between his teeth, so he's in pain. And
- 45:40Speaker 2: he comes up and puts his arms over and opens
- 45:42Speaker 2: his mouth and lets the human pull it all out.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Of his way out of his mouth. That's amazing.
- 45:48Speaker 2: And so they're playing this emotional music as the sea
- 45:50Speaker 2: turtles sitting there with his mouth open, and this human
- 45:53Speaker 2: who's in the boat is aware enough to one not
- 45:57Speaker 2: go get off turtle, or two not go like we
- 45:59Speaker 2: got us a sea turtle, pull it in, look in
- 46:01Speaker 2: the mouth, start to pull it and as he's pulling out,
- 46:03Speaker 2: the sea turtle opens his mouth even more. That's and
- 46:05Speaker 2: when he's done, the seat turtle just lets go and
- 46:07Speaker 2: goes into the water.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Wow. I think I save that too because it was
- 46:10Speaker 1: kind of emotional. This is a little different. But did
- 46:12Speaker 1: you see the guy that got bit by the shark
- 46:14Speaker 1: that he caught. No is in Nantucket and he caught
- 46:19Speaker 1: like I would say, maybe six foot shark. It was
- 46:21Speaker 1: a monster, dude, huge, and there's people on the beach
- 46:24Speaker 1: all watching and him and his buddies are like trying
- 46:25Speaker 1: to get the hook off which at that point just
- 46:27Speaker 1: cut it. Cut the line and let him go, right,
- 46:29Speaker 1: But no one, dude's on top of it. He's got
- 46:31Speaker 1: the nose, you know, pulling the nose up, and the
- 46:34Speaker 1: other one's trying to get the hook out, and they
- 46:35Speaker 1: finally get the hook out, and then the guy that
- 46:37Speaker 1: caught it grabs the fit, grabs the shark by the
- 46:40Speaker 1: tail and pulls it in the shallow water. And as
- 46:43Speaker 1: he puts in the shallow water, he lets it go.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Shark turns around bite him in the foot.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Can he's so scared? Well yeah, I mean like he
- 46:51Speaker 2: just a traumatic experience. Yeah, doesn't understand the intention of
- 46:55Speaker 2: what just happened to it, but yeah.
- 46:57Speaker 1: And then the guy you can see the guy get
- 46:59Speaker 1: bit and then he kind of like lets the shark
- 47:01Speaker 1: go X cool and then he just kind of like
- 47:03Speaker 1: how was he injured?
- 47:05Speaker 2: Like, oh, I bad his foot?
- 47:07Speaker 1: Yeah? Really, yeah it is bad and he kind of
- 47:09Speaker 1: washed so it was a significant but he looks like
- 47:11Speaker 1: he's walking it off. And then finally he's just like, dude,
- 47:13Speaker 1: my foot's bad and yeah schewed up. Yeah, not saying
- 47:16Speaker 1: but that's the story. Yep.
- 47:18Speaker 2: I'll do one more thing. I just have this whole list. Here,
- 47:21Speaker 2: we're doing a Bobby Bone Show cruise and you can
- 47:24Speaker 2: go to the website if you guys want to come
- 47:25Speaker 2: on the cruise. Some of you may be already be
- 47:26Speaker 2: coming in February next year. And so I think because
- 47:29Speaker 2: of that, and on this cruise there are country acts,
- 47:32Speaker 2: like there's gonna be a Keith Throwing concert, there's going
- 47:34Speaker 2: to be on the boat with us. It's like Lee,
- 47:37Speaker 2: Bryce leyn Rhime's a bunch of artists. So I think
- 47:41Speaker 2: I'm in a bit of the cruise algorithm. And I
- 47:44Speaker 2: stumbled across this nineties cruise and we've seen these let go,
- 47:49Speaker 2: would this be appealing to you?
- 47:50Speaker 1: Come on?
- 47:51Speaker 2: I think I would be more I would probably be
- 47:55Speaker 2: more prone to go to like a nineties alternative cruise
- 47:58Speaker 2: than just this nineties cruise. But here's the nineties cruise.
- 48:01Speaker 2: It is starring TLC to a live members, so not
- 48:05Speaker 2: gonna be full TLC, but they're gonna do TLC songs.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Sugar Ray cool? Is that just Martin McGrath now pretty much?
- 48:11Speaker 1: Oh, it's not the whole band?
- 48:13Speaker 2: But does the whole band matter when like the lead
- 48:15Speaker 2: singer is the person?
- 48:16Speaker 1: Well, I mean no, I guess not, and we wouldn't
- 48:18Speaker 1: know that if you.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Wouldn't know the difference. I don't feel like it matters
- 48:22Speaker 2: better than Ezra, and I don't think it's the whole
- 48:26Speaker 2: original band. But it's still Kevin lead singer in vogue, Uh,
- 48:33Speaker 2: never going to get it, never going to get it, Tonic,
- 48:37Speaker 2: which I think is just Emmer Simmerson her heart if
- 48:41Speaker 2: you can only see the way, but he's tonic.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Yeah, he's tonic fuel Shimmer, she.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Calls me from the Yeah, it's a break.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Hearing.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Now buck it, we're going. And then they had They
- 49:04Speaker 2: came back like eight years later because they kept doing
- 49:06Speaker 2: the rock stuff and they had had a bad day again,
- 49:09Speaker 2: remember that one.
- 49:10Speaker 1: I do remember that.
- 49:11Speaker 6: I guess I know the second wave because I.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Know in my head, in my head again, I used
- 49:19Speaker 2: to play that one in my early radio days.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I didn't play Shimmer.
- 49:22Speaker 2: That was before me. I was in like high school
- 49:23Speaker 2: college whenever. That was fuel smash mouth?
- 49:27Speaker 1: But is it he dead lead singers not there?
- 49:29Speaker 2: So who's are they doing smash mouth with Rome? I
- 49:31Speaker 2: think they are.
- 49:32Speaker 1: I think they.
- 49:36Speaker 6: I think they replaced them before he died.
- 49:38Speaker 2: No really, because I feel like Steve Harwell who was
- 49:42Speaker 2: the singer. Yeah, he's smash mouth correct, Yeah, he's smash mouth.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Edwin McCain, cool Cool, kidn't play. I know they're alive.
- 49:52Speaker 2: They're old now.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Oh I see videos of who's the one with the
- 49:56Speaker 1: tall one the tall I don't know which. I think
- 49:59Speaker 1: it's kid. I think that's play, but I don't know.
- 50:02Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I don't know. He'll pop up sometimes.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Maxie Priest who had to hit EMF? Did EMF have?
- 50:08Speaker 2: Oh you're unbelievable. Yeah, my win song that sponge Okay,
- 50:14Speaker 2: I know the name.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Can't think of the song.
- 50:15Speaker 2: DJ Cool.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Let me clear in my throat.
- 50:21Speaker 2: That's what right here, going out to everybody.
- 50:24Speaker 1: That's awesome, dude.
- 50:25Speaker 2: A special musical host Robin Wilson of Jen Blossoms. I
- 50:29Speaker 2: don't know if he's the lead singer.
- 50:30Speaker 1: He's got to be.
- 50:31Speaker 2: He's like guitars, you just let Jim Bossoms play. Then
- 50:35Speaker 2: if he's the lead singer, I agree. I'm sure he'll
- 50:37Speaker 2: probably do some songs.
- 50:38Speaker 1: I agree.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Hosted by Downtown Julie Brown from MTV, Matt Pinfield, who
- 50:41Speaker 2: was on MTV. Dave Holmes was on MTV back.
- 50:43Speaker 1: In the day.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Matt Pinfield, I've not, okay, have you maybe in Austin myself?
- 50:49Speaker 2: I think that's it also starring and then he goes
- 50:51Speaker 2: to some other people. But that's pretty cool, huh.
- 50:53Speaker 1: I love that. I would love every bit of that.
- 50:55Speaker 2: I think it'd be a bit depressing, though, because everybody's
- 50:57Speaker 2: old now like us, and we'd be like it would
- 51:00Speaker 2: be a reminder that we're about to tap out. You know.
- 51:04Speaker 1: I see what you're saying, but like I just saw
- 51:07Speaker 1: Parole jam and I know they're old, and I know
- 51:09Speaker 1: they're way older. Yeah, but I don't see it that way.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Like you go and you're living, You're you're as old
- 51:16Speaker 1: as they are now. Like whatever age you were when
- 51:18Speaker 1: they were big, you're that same age. So nothing really
- 51:21Speaker 1: changed except all you guys are a little older.
- 51:23Speaker 2: I disagree because like Adam Derrett is sixty one now
- 51:26Speaker 2: and it's like, yeah, he's looking older, so are we.
- 51:28Speaker 2: We're all getting older and I kind of suck and
- 51:30Speaker 2: we think about mine.
- 51:32Speaker 1: Yeah tough. I think it would be fun.
- 51:34Speaker 2: I do think it would. I think that'd be awesome,
- 51:35Speaker 2: but I think it'd be a constant reminder too. It
- 51:38Speaker 2: would It would be fun because it's blast from the past.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Everybody loves, you know, reliving their glory days. It reminds
- 51:46Speaker 2: you you're not in your glory days anymore.
- 51:48Speaker 1: That's true too, But if that's all there is on
- 51:50Speaker 1: the boat, you have no reminder that there's anything younger
- 51:53Speaker 1: except live except when.
- 51:54Speaker 2: You get off the boat your back hurts and you
- 51:57Speaker 2: wake up in the morning.
- 51:58Speaker 1: I don't know how true this is, but I all, so,
- 52:00Speaker 1: someone else is talking about Jim Blossoms. How what's the
- 52:04Speaker 1: other band? And I don't know why. Maybe I'm not
- 52:06Speaker 1: the only one, but I always get them confused with
- 52:09Speaker 1: Johnny Resink's band What's the Goo Goo Dolls? So apparently
- 52:13Speaker 1: the Jim Blossoms like played a show and they just
- 52:15Speaker 1: played all Google dolls.
- 52:16Speaker 2: I saw that nobody knew that. They say nobody knew.
- 52:18Speaker 2: I'm sure some people knew. Yes, I didn't know if
- 52:22Speaker 2: it was true or not, but I.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Did see that. I don't know either.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Okay, that's it. We pivoted a bit on just Sports
- 52:28Speaker 2: second half of this, but it's freaking July.
- 52:32Speaker 1: I mean, what do we got?
- 52:33Speaker 2: So I hope you guys enjoyed the episode.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I'm watching Bare Knuckle Fighting dude, it's not good.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it's dark. It's dark times in sports right now.
- 52:40Speaker 2: It's dark times in sports. Okay, you can watch some
- 52:43Speaker 2: Summer League NBA.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I see that.
- 52:45Speaker 2: You want to get Brownie and Cooper flag whatever. Thank
- 52:48Speaker 2: you guys, and we will see you later on this week.
- 52:49Speaker 2: All right, by everybody, both of us. Lettie, oh, thank you, dude.
