- 0:12Speaker 1: sol and this is too broad Chicks to show that
- 0:14Speaker 1: shares laugh, lessons and tips to help make you rich
- 0:17Speaker 1: in life, rich richer and a Happy Tuesday.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Happy Tuesday, New Week knew me? What trend of our
- 0:26Speaker 2: became this week?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Exactly, literally my life.
- 0:29Speaker 3: How are you good? We're in the midst of Black
- 0:32Speaker 3: Friday sale season. It's all happening, very busy, exciting time
- 0:36Speaker 3: of the year.
- 0:37Speaker 2: How are you I'm good. I'm already over it. It
- 0:41Speaker 2: gets like that.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Hey, by the time Black Friday comes, I honestly feel
- 0:46Speaker 3: like the actual Black Friday.
- 0:47Speaker 2: It's not like Christmas Day.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Seriously intent than that, I'm ready for Christmas same.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I'm like, I want to put my tree up, I
- 0:56Speaker 1: want to buy presents for people, I want to wrap them,
- 0:59Speaker 1: I want to be listening to Christmas carols.
- 1:02Speaker 2: That's where I'm at.
- 1:03Speaker 1: But jo, I don't say that I do enjoy this period,
- 1:06Speaker 1: and I do really enjoy.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Helping everyone shop.
- 1:09Speaker 1: But the thing that I don't enjoy about this at
- 1:12Speaker 1: the moment is, you know how intense Black Friday has
- 1:15Speaker 1: gotten and how confusing it has gotten, which is why
- 1:18Speaker 1: we've decided to do our Broach Chicks Guide to Black
- 1:21Speaker 1: Friday as an entire episode, because this shit's gotten confusing.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Black Friday used to be a twenty four hour period
- 1:28Speaker 1: and now it's.
- 1:29Speaker 2: A thirty day sale event.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and we have a lot of questions from the
- 1:34Speaker 1: chicks to answer, like what.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Do I buy? When do I buy it? Do I
- 1:38Speaker 2: buy now or do.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I wait for Black Friday? What are the best sales?
- 1:42Speaker 1: And how am I supposed to organize my budget?
- 1:45Speaker 2: So we have gone into the wiz.
- 1:48Speaker 1: We've gone into the four years of Black Friday data
- 1:51Speaker 1: that we've collected from doing cheat sheets and sales coverage,
- 1:54Speaker 1: and we've got all the information for you, plus some
- 1:58Speaker 1: free hacks to I don't get a little inside look
- 2:01Speaker 1: into the brand side of whether or not something's actually
- 2:04Speaker 1: a good deal or whether that's seventy percent off is
- 2:07Speaker 1: a scam. But before we get into that, what's your obsession?
- 2:14Speaker 2: Obsession? These are my obsessions.
- 2:17Speaker 3: My obsession of the week is something that you were
- 2:20Speaker 3: gonna laugh at me for, Oh my god, but.
- 2:24Speaker 2: No, that's an ongoing lifelong obsession. Hand crame love it.
- 2:28Speaker 3: My obsession of the week is the Hilary Duff renaissance,
- 2:33Speaker 3: and I'm so happy. Like it's twenty twenty five. This
- 2:37Speaker 3: is what we deserve.
- 2:39Speaker 2: She looks fucking great.
- 2:40Speaker 3: She looks amazing. She always has, she always has. She
- 2:44Speaker 3: ages like a fine wine. She only becomes more beautiful
- 2:47Speaker 3: with every day.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Have you listened to the song? It came out while
- 2:51Speaker 2: we were in the recording. I believe it. She listened
- 2:53Speaker 2: to it right now. Should do a little snake paperay,
- 2:54Speaker 2: hold on, I put it on. So is there a
- 2:57Speaker 2: music video? Surely? Okay, let's watch the music video in
- 3:01Speaker 2: real time.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Hillary Duff has released her first single in years. It's
- 3:05Speaker 3: called Mature, and we're gonna watch the music video for
- 3:07Speaker 3: the first time.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Why am I crying? Yes?
- 3:12Speaker 1: This is it?
- 3:13Speaker 2: I love it. Fuck, she looks amazing. This is shady too.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Is she divorced? It's giving.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I'm divorced yet like the best way. Okay, I'm not
- 3:25Speaker 1: gonna lie. She didn't have me at the first but that.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Chorus hit really good. Okay, amazing, and she looks so
- 3:32Speaker 2: beautiful the outfits. Yeah, we'll listen to the full thing
- 3:36Speaker 2: obviously after this. That is amazing.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Okay, so she is divorced, but she has like a
- 3:41Speaker 3: new partner, and by that I mean they've been married
- 3:43Speaker 3: since twenty nineteen, but she had a previous marriage from
- 3:47Speaker 3: twenty ten to twenty sixteen.
- 3:48Speaker 2: So potentially I wonder if he's dating someone younger. Look
- 3:50Speaker 2: it up right now, definitely need to what's the tea?
- 3:54Speaker 1: I love her like people need to stop being so
- 3:56Speaker 1: invested in celebrities like personal life.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And then oh, okay, it's a kind of I wondered this.
- 4:01Speaker 3: It's a conversation that she's having with her younger self,
- 4:05Speaker 3: So the two of us are reflecting on a past
- 4:07Speaker 3: experience and sending love to each other. It's a chuckle,
- 4:09Speaker 3: a wink, a sense of being grateful that we are
- 4:11Speaker 3: sure footed in where we landed. Fuck, she looks amazing.
- 4:15Speaker 3: All of the photos to the music video that are
- 4:17Speaker 3: coming out. Oh I love it. But yeah, so we've
- 4:20Speaker 3: got our first single from Hillary Duff. She was on
- 4:23Speaker 3: Therapusts this week Yeah Love with Jake Shange, which was amazing,
- 4:27Speaker 3: and then she also was the Sally for a role
- 4:30Speaker 3: Model like a few weeks ago, and I just love
- 4:33Speaker 3: it because in all of her interviews and everything, like,
- 4:35Speaker 3: she's so down to earth and we've been seeing the
- 4:39Speaker 3: renaissance of like a few iconic two thousand's queens like
- 4:43Speaker 3: Lindsay Lewen, Demi Levado and.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I'm here for it. Yeah, so fun. What's your obsession? Okay,
- 4:50Speaker 2: my obsession of the week is so boring.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I don't say that, but I couldn't be more obsessed Cheerios.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I don't know how I got twenty nine years old
- 5:01Speaker 1: without ever eating cheerios. Yes, I'm talking about the cereal.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I fucking love cheerios. I ate them for breakfast, I
- 5:11Speaker 1: eat them for an afternoon stack, and if I'm lucky
- 5:13Speaker 1: enough to have any milk.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Left, I eat them for dessert. They are so young.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I feel like it's completely changed my life. And come
- 5:25Speaker 1: back in about two months when I've eaten them so
- 5:26Speaker 1: much that I wake up one day and I look
- 5:28Speaker 1: at them and I go, I.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Could never eat a cheerio every yin. Yeah, hyperfixation meals
- 5:31Speaker 2: are tough like that.
- 5:32Speaker 1: That's my hyperfixation meal at the moment. I can't stop
- 5:34Speaker 1: eating cherios. And then my second obsession of the week,
- 5:36Speaker 1: which will tie us into obviously this episode, is the
- 5:41Speaker 1: brand spanking new two broad Chicks Black Friday Sales cheat
- 5:46Speaker 1: sheet Chef's kiss to us. We have launched the Black
- 5:50Speaker 1: Friday cheat Sheet, the earliest that we ever have, and
- 5:54Speaker 1: we've built an entire website dedicated to this cheat sheet
- 5:59Speaker 1: in twenty four hour isn't mind You and literally learned
- 6:03Speaker 1: to code back in my Tumblr eerr yep. And it's
- 6:07Speaker 1: truly the best thing to find all of the Black
- 6:10Speaker 1: Friday sales in one place with the original creators of it.
- 6:14Speaker 2: We've literally been creating.
- 6:15Speaker 1: It for four years. Just a little note anyone the OG.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah or the OG.
- 6:20Speaker 1: We've been creating our Black Friday cheat sheet for over
- 6:23Speaker 1: four years with all of the best fashioned beauty lifestyle.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Sales all in one place so that you can shop, compare,
- 6:30Speaker 2: and save.
- 6:31Speaker 1: We have exclusive deals from brands so you can save
- 6:34Speaker 1: even more. We also included a column that's called the
- 6:37Speaker 1: Cherry on top, so it shows you if you can
- 6:39Speaker 1: get a free gift with purchase if they price match
- 6:42Speaker 1: what their free shipping policy is. And it just is
- 6:45Speaker 1: honestly going to make Black Friday sales so much easier,
- 6:48Speaker 1: especially when there's already so much marketing noise that's going
- 6:51Speaker 1: for a month. So We update it daily with exclusive sales,
- 6:55Speaker 1: new deals that have dropped, and also all of the
- 6:58Speaker 1: affiliate revenue goes to charity.
- 7:00Speaker 2: So if you.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Are not onto it, get onto it.
- 7:03Speaker 2: It's free. Yeah, that's our first tip.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and our obsession and hopefully all of your
- 7:09Speaker 3: chicks obsession as well.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So we've had heaps of questions on this because obviously
- 7:14Speaker 1: we have never dropped the Black Friday cheat cheat this
- 7:17Speaker 1: early before, but due to the sale going for a
- 7:21Speaker 1: month now, we obviously wanted to drop it to kind
- 7:25Speaker 1: of help people because everyone's getting overwhelmed and rightly so,
- 7:29Speaker 1: so we wanted to explain why is Black Friday going
- 7:32Speaker 1: for a month?
- 7:32Speaker 2: Well, two reasons.
- 7:34Speaker 1: One, brands are trying to get ahead of the noise,
- 7:36Speaker 1: which they don't have the consumer in mind for this,
- 7:40Speaker 1: which is really frustrating. Like brands don't want to have
- 7:43Speaker 1: to compete within the twenty four hours of the week
- 7:45Speaker 1: of Black Friday with all the marketing. It means they
- 7:48Speaker 1: have to spend more on ads and they have to
- 7:50Speaker 1: put more effort into their marketing. So by doing it early,
- 7:54Speaker 1: there's less competition in the noise. There is less competition
- 7:58Speaker 1: in sales because if they're dropping a twenty percent site
- 8:02Speaker 1: wide now versus when all the other brands are doing
- 8:05Speaker 1: forty percent on Black Friday. You're gonna spend your budget
- 8:08Speaker 1: on that shit sale first versus waiting, because it's the
- 8:12Speaker 1: scarcity tactic, right, like scarcity tactic. Sorry I'm British now, yes,
- 8:17Speaker 1: but it's getting you to spend your budget. First, you
- 8:20Speaker 1: get paid once a month. Maybe you get paid for
- 8:22Speaker 1: not only maybe you get paid weekly. Most people get
- 8:24Speaker 1: paid once a month. So you're gonna get paid and
- 8:27Speaker 1: then you're spending all your money in the first week,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and by Black Friday you're like, well the goal, sir,
- 8:33Speaker 1: you know it is where you go. So that's the
- 8:36Speaker 1: first reason why it's starting so much now. The second
- 8:40Speaker 1: reason is because there's actually a second sale event called
- 8:43Speaker 1: Clickfrenzy and Singles Day, which is technically on the eleventh
- 8:47Speaker 1: of November. Clickfrendsly used to be in October. It's now
- 8:50Speaker 1: moved to mid November. I ask why move it back?
- 8:53Speaker 1: It happened last year and we were like, please don't
- 8:55Speaker 1: let it happen again.
- 8:56Speaker 2: And they did it anyway.
- 8:57Speaker 1: And so what brands do is they have like a
- 9:00Speaker 1: warm up sale, which is basically for click frenzy, and
- 9:03Speaker 1: they kind of loop these two things in together. So
- 9:06Speaker 1: that's why sales are just dropping left, right and center,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and you don't know is this your official Black Friday
- 9:11Speaker 1: sale now or are you going to do another one later?
- 9:14Speaker 2: Like what's going on? And it's frustrating.
- 9:17Speaker 1: It's so frustrating for the consumer because they're like, I
- 9:19Speaker 1: don't know whether I shop now or whether I shop later.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really hard. Sometimes I wonder, I'm like, do
- 9:25Speaker 3: the brands know either? Sometimes I wonder if they're just
- 9:28Speaker 3: testing the waters. These are very normal questions and questions
- 9:32Speaker 3: that have been flooding out in box in the last
- 9:34Speaker 3: couple of weeks ever since they've started to drop.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Yeah, So I actually did a little bit of data
- 9:39Speaker 1: analysis and I went back through our cheat sheets over
- 9:43Speaker 1: the last four years to look at when the strongest
- 9:46Speaker 1: deals drop, and the average of those was that the
- 9:50Speaker 1: best deals drop the week commencing Black Friday. So Black
- 9:56Speaker 1: Friday this year is on the twenty eighth, so we're
- 9:59Speaker 1: gonna start seeing official and strong Black Friday sales. I
- 10:03Speaker 1: would say from the twenty first of October to the
- 10:06Speaker 1: twenty fourth of October, we were actually saying that last
- 10:09Speaker 1: year was kind of crazy because by the time that
- 10:11Speaker 1: Black Friday actually came around, everyone was done. Yeah, everyone
- 10:15Speaker 1: was like, I'm shopped out totally.
- 10:17Speaker 2: The shoppies are dead.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Yeah, And there weren't that many exciting Black Friday launches
- 10:23Speaker 3: on the day, Like a lot of the sales we
- 10:25Speaker 3: were being like, oh, like they've done twenty percent of sitewid, Like,
- 10:28Speaker 3: surely they're going to check on an extra ten percent,
- 10:31Speaker 3: you know something, but no.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's definitely an interesting tactic. I agree.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I think for me, it's about knowing what you want
- 10:41Speaker 1: to buy and how much of a discount you want
- 10:44Speaker 1: it for. If something selling out is going to ruin
- 10:46Speaker 1: your day, buy it at a discount that you were
- 10:49Speaker 1: happy with. So that's also how we're going to get
- 10:52Speaker 1: into what do I buy and building your wish list
- 10:56Speaker 1: with Black Friday.
- 10:57Speaker 3: I think the thing is that it is so overwhelming
- 11:00Speaker 3: because you see sales across all different categories and it
- 11:04Speaker 3: is like the biggest sale event of the entire year,
- 11:08Speaker 3: and it can be really easy to get swept up
- 11:10Speaker 3: by the marketing tactics and the excitement and the discounts
- 11:14Speaker 3: and just go crazy. And that's why It is so
- 11:17Speaker 3: important to have a wish list and know exactly what
- 11:20Speaker 3: you want to buy before you go into the sale event.
- 11:23Speaker 2: One hundred percent.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I read a stat the other day and it said
- 11:25Speaker 1: forty two percent of shoppers regret a Black Friday purchase,
- 11:29Speaker 1: and that's why it's so important to have.
- 11:31Speaker 2: A wish list. Yeah, definitely.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I think a big part of that is setting yourself
- 11:37Speaker 3: a budget and knowing exactly how much you want to
- 11:40Speaker 3: spend and are willing to spend, because that way, as well,
- 11:44Speaker 3: you give yourself that boundary and you're not going to
- 11:48Speaker 3: have that same level of buyers remorse if you set
- 11:51Speaker 3: yourself a budget. I think I saw a TikTok from
- 11:54Speaker 3: a creator and I'll link it below, and it was
- 11:58Speaker 3: mind blowing because I think this is the best way
- 12:01Speaker 3: to avoid buyers remorse of whether or not you got
- 12:04Speaker 3: the best deal right. And basically, when you create a
- 12:07Speaker 3: wish list, Let's say you want a dice in air
- 12:09Speaker 3: rap right for example, and you go in and you
- 12:12Speaker 3: write your wish list and you write your budget and
- 12:14Speaker 3: you say, Okay, I would be extremely happy with a
- 12:17Speaker 3: thirty percent off the diceon air rap. When I see that,
- 12:21Speaker 3: I'm going to buy it because you work out how
- 12:23Speaker 3: much you're going to save, You work out your budget,
- 12:25Speaker 3: you have like RP, then you have savings what the
- 12:28Speaker 3: new price would be, and then that ties into your budget.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Right. So that way, if you then see the dison
- 12:35Speaker 1: Air rap for thirty percent off, you can buy that
- 12:39Speaker 1: knowing that that was what you budgeted for. That was
- 12:42Speaker 1: a deal that you were happy with, so you get it.
- 12:45Speaker 1: It doesn't sell out and you don't have that disappointment.
- 12:48Speaker 1: And then two, even if it does potentially go on
- 12:51Speaker 1: sales somewhere for forty percent off, you're not going to
- 12:54Speaker 1: lose sleep over that potential ten dollars that you didn't save,
- 12:58Speaker 1: you know. I think that's the important thing to remember
- 13:00Speaker 1: that the difference between thirty percent to forty percent sometimes
- 13:03Speaker 1: is the matter of a few dollars that if you
- 13:06Speaker 1: want something and it's like make or break, do or die, like,
- 13:09Speaker 1: you'll be upset you didn't get that.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a thing.
- 13:12Speaker 1: So actually, when you write your wish list, having your
- 13:15Speaker 1: goal savings for that item is absolutely the.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Way to go about it. Yeah, I think that's a
- 13:22Speaker 2: really good strategy.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Yeah, and identifying the things that you need beforehand. And
- 13:28Speaker 3: creating a wish list based on that is also a
- 13:31Speaker 3: key part. So whether you are doing your Christmas shopping,
- 13:36Speaker 3: or if you take stock of your wardrobe and you
- 13:38Speaker 3: identify gaps that you genuinely need or like it's a
- 13:42Speaker 3: good time to you know, buy homewares, or if you
- 13:45Speaker 3: need an upgrade on a tech item, it takes you
- 13:47Speaker 3: out of the impulse by mentality. Yeah exactly, and you
- 13:51Speaker 3: know that you're not going to a week after Black
- 13:54Speaker 3: Friday end up with a bunch of packages and be
- 13:56Speaker 3: like what is this?
- 13:57Speaker 2: Be like whose horse is that? Yeah? Seriously?
- 14:00Speaker 1: And I think it also helps you avoid the sale
- 14:03Speaker 1: section scroll.
- 14:04Speaker 2: The sale section scroll.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Is literally the biggest money bleed of your life because
- 14:08Speaker 1: you're scrolling through twenty pages of shit no one wanted,
- 14:14Speaker 1: but because it's on sale, you now want it. You
- 14:17Speaker 1: didn't want it before you got to page five, Yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 1: but now you do because you saw it on sale,
- 14:23Speaker 1: just because it's on sale, because it's on sale and
- 14:25Speaker 1: we've been there.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, girl many Leslie. I was on page six. Yeah.
- 14:30Speaker 2: We still have our flare ups, well, have a flare
- 14:32Speaker 2: up one.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Hundred percent, but I'm absolutely getting better with it because
- 14:35Speaker 1: I realized. Like when I'm on like four pages in,
- 14:39Speaker 1: I'm like, what am I doing here? I'm just looking
- 14:41Speaker 1: for dopamine? Yeah, yeah, totally something.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Yeah, which, come on, let's be real to be part
- 14:48Speaker 3: of every shopping experie.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I feel like you need to have a budget of Okay, fine,
- 14:55Speaker 1: you can have it. Maybe it's like fifty bucks. Maybe
- 14:58Speaker 1: you give yourself fifty dollars.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Of fun money. Fun money didn't exist, it wasn't on
- 15:04Speaker 2: my wish list.
- 15:05Speaker 3: But I wanted a buffer, a fun money buffer of fluffer,
- 15:12Speaker 3: maybe a Black Friday fluffer only get me ready get
- 15:18Speaker 3: Black Friday. Like we were saying, so many different categories
- 15:21Speaker 3: go on sale over Black Friday. So if you were like, okay,
- 15:25Speaker 3: but I don't even know where to start, where do
- 15:26Speaker 3: I create our wish list? We saw some interesting research
- 15:30Speaker 3: that came out about the most popular categories to shop
- 15:33Speaker 3: over Black Friday. So what to buy? Yeah, so what
- 15:37Speaker 3: to buy over Black Friday? And some of the most
- 15:39Speaker 3: popular purchases over Black Friday. Apparel and accessories twenty one
- 15:43Speaker 3: point five percent of people shop department stores fifteen percent.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I would agree. I would agree as well a department
- 15:50Speaker 1: stores price match.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Yeah, and electronics ten point four percent. And finally, Christmas gifts.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Sixty seven percent of Australians plan to finish most of
- 15:59Speaker 3: their twenty two twenty five Christmas shopping before December. So
- 16:02Speaker 3: Black Friday is the last time that you can do
- 16:04Speaker 3: your Christmas shopping on sale.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Yeah, so if you're wondering what to buy for Black Friday,
- 16:08Speaker 1: buy Christmas presents. I also saw that they shared the
- 16:12Speaker 1: most popular time that people shop Black Friday, and that's
- 16:16Speaker 1: one pm on actual Black Friday. So last year that
- 16:20Speaker 1: was the twenty ninth of November. So again it kind
- 16:22Speaker 1: of supports what we were saying before that, like try
- 16:25Speaker 1: not to pull the trigger too early on your shopping and.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Do sit on a little bit. In the Black Friday.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Cheat sheet, we've done our best to share the dates
- 16:33Speaker 1: that brands are going live with their sales.
- 16:35Speaker 2: When brands have led us.
- 16:36Speaker 1: We've strongly requested they let us share the dates, but
- 16:39Speaker 1: some friends just don't want us to. So I'm like, okay, fine,
- 16:43Speaker 1: whatever you want.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Cis you want the baby girl.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I also do have another hack on how you can
- 16:52Speaker 1: see whether or not you're getting the best deal on
- 16:55Speaker 1: a product, and it is in Google Shopping. You can
- 17:00Speaker 1: see the price of a product for the last three months.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So a big thing that we see from brands is
- 17:06Speaker 1: that they increase the price of an item a month
- 17:09Speaker 1: before Black Friday, only to discount it, which is really
- 17:13Speaker 1: just its regular price. So you're not actually getting a
- 17:16Speaker 1: sale because they've increased the price a month beforehand. Very
- 17:20Speaker 1: very sneaky, and so a way that you can see
- 17:23Speaker 1: if a brand has done this, and also to see
- 17:26Speaker 1: if you can get a cheaper price at another time
- 17:28Speaker 1: of the year is in Google Shopping.
- 17:30Speaker 2: You can go and search the item.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Let's say we're going to search New Balance nineteen sixties, right,
- 17:36Speaker 1: and when you click on that, there's a little bar
- 17:40Speaker 1: that says typically and a price range. You click the
- 17:43Speaker 1: little arrow on the side and it'll drop down into
- 17:47Speaker 1: a graph that shows you the last three months of
- 17:51Speaker 1: pricing and how affordable it's been, So when it's been
- 17:54Speaker 1: on sale, what's the lowest price? And you can also
- 17:57Speaker 1: compare it to other retailers and stockers, so I can
- 18:01Speaker 1: see that you know, on Aesos they were this price,
- 18:04Speaker 1: but three months ago they were cheaper, but if on
- 18:09Speaker 1: Black Friday they're going to be even cheaper than that.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I know I'm getting a good deal, but maybe I
- 18:13Speaker 1: also see that Platypus they actually had a cheaper price,
- 18:16Speaker 1: so I'm going to go shop there and.
- 18:18Speaker 2: You can actually see it all in one place.
- 18:21Speaker 1: But there is a max of how many brands they
- 18:23Speaker 1: put in that, So that's when I would probably also
- 18:26Speaker 1: use our cheat sheet to compare what.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Sales are happening. I was like Google brav good job, Brava.
- 18:34Speaker 3: And also in that same section when you scroll down,
- 18:36Speaker 3: you can see a lot of customer reviews.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yes, which it's in the same section.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna put a tutorial for that on TikTok and Instagram.
- 18:44Speaker 2: It'll probably be live by the time this goes out,
- 18:46Speaker 2: so just.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Head to the show notes if you want like a
- 18:48Speaker 1: visual of that. But yeah, that was my one of
- 18:51Speaker 1: my favorite discoveries that I made. While I've been like,
- 18:54Speaker 1: how can.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I help, how can I help? The check help? The
- 18:57Speaker 2: Chicks series so annoying.
- 19:01Speaker 1: When I discovered that, I was like going on about
- 19:03Speaker 1: it for like thirty minutes to my boyfriend being like,
- 19:05Speaker 1: fucking good at my job. I was like fucking good.
- 19:08Speaker 1: I was like, look what I just found. He's like, yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 1: you showed me already. I'm like, look again, look at
- 19:13Speaker 1: this other products that I did it with too. I
- 19:15Speaker 1: did it for a kindle. Look freaking I did it
- 19:21Speaker 1: for a kindle. Kindle I did it for don't ever. Yeah,
- 19:25Speaker 1: you can do it for so many products. Some products,
- 19:27Speaker 1: if they're a little bit more niche, it's hard to find,
- 19:30Speaker 1: but it still normally has that typical range.
- 19:32Speaker 2: But yeah, definitely.
- 19:34Speaker 3: A good place to start, especially for those hot ticket items.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah baby. And speaking of hot ticket items, oh,
- 19:40Speaker 2: I saw.
- 19:40Speaker 3: That Google just released their Google Holiday one hundred report.
- 19:44Speaker 3: So that's this year's one hundred most popular trending products
- 19:47Speaker 3: based on Google trend fucked.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 3: We'll link the full guide in the show notes, but
- 19:52Speaker 3: I wanted to run through some of the most popular
- 19:54Speaker 3: products in twenty twenty five according to Google Trends, so
- 19:59Speaker 3: that you can build out your wish lists. But also
- 20:01Speaker 3: this is great inspo for your Christmas.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Wish lists as well. I love this.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Okay, quick Fire Me, quick Fire Fashion, the added as
- 20:09Speaker 3: Samba Jane's.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Do you know those ones?
- 20:12Speaker 3: The added as Samba, but they have the Mary Jane
- 20:14Speaker 3: strap across the fort Oh yeah, oh yes, the Crocs
- 20:19Speaker 3: Cozy Slipper Drop waist dresses. Apparently they're trending at an
- 20:23Speaker 3: all time high this year. Pinstripe button ups, relaxed straight
- 20:28Speaker 3: leg jeans, and the Coach No Leader nineteen handbag beauty,
- 20:33Speaker 3: the Glossy Air You perfume, the Oliplex Number seven bonding oil,
- 20:39Speaker 3: the Road Glazing milk, and also red light therapy masks.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Yep, that checks out.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Yep.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Electronics the Nintendo switch to just bought one? Thank you?
- 20:49Speaker 3: TV projectors also have one of those, and mini phone printers.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Gotta get myself one of those.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:55Speaker 3: And finally for home, the Ninja Creamy Swell soft serve
- 20:58Speaker 3: and ice cream maker. Yeah, our Place cook wear sets
- 21:03Speaker 3: and the Cozy Earth bubble blanket.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I don't know what that is, but it looks fucking incredible. Really,
- 21:09Speaker 2: it looks really good. Should we buy one? I reckon?
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm literally the most easy to influence human in the
- 21:15Speaker 1: entire world. But we're terribly we should not be doing
- 21:18Speaker 1: this job. I know we were, but I'm like, no,
- 21:22Speaker 1: I'm influenced.
- 21:23Speaker 2: But yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 3: So, given that some of these are the top trending
- 21:26Speaker 3: items according to Google, you can expect them to get
- 21:28Speaker 3: snapped up first. If they do go on sale on
- 21:30Speaker 3: Black Friday, so definitely have those in your wish lists.
- 21:34Speaker 2: One thousand percent. Should we run through what's on our
- 21:38Speaker 2: wish list? Yeah?
- 21:40Speaker 1: Okay, what do you think is some of the best
- 21:43Speaker 1: Black Friday sales happening?
- 21:45Speaker 3: Okay, so in my personal opinion, and some of the
- 21:48Speaker 3: sales I'm the most excited for. The first one is
- 21:51Speaker 3: Sendre They're doing up to fifty percent off site wide,
- 21:54Speaker 3: but then we also have an extra five percent off
- 21:56Speaker 3: with our code, which you can find in the cheat sheet.
- 21:59Speaker 3: But all of their pieces are incredible, and I really
- 22:02Speaker 3: want one of their watches, so I think I'll be
- 22:04Speaker 3: snapping one of those up stacks. They're doing forty to
- 22:08Speaker 3: sixty percent off site wide, and you can also get
- 22:10Speaker 3: an extra ten percent off with our code.
- 22:12Speaker 1: And guys don't sleep on the stacks. Sleepwear pun intended. Yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 1: their pajamas are literally the skim's dupe. They are so comfy,
- 22:23Speaker 1: they are so soft. My boyfriend steals them literally all
- 22:27Speaker 1: the fucking time. I'm like, oh, give them back, I
- 22:29Speaker 1: will literally strip you naked in the streets.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Give me more jummies.
- 22:33Speaker 1: They are so amazing, They're so breathable, they're so light,
- 22:36Speaker 1: feels like a little hug they're active or is amazing.
- 22:40Speaker 1: But the sleep the sleepwear.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yeah, also love their sweats and hoodies out of ten Yeah, okays,
- 22:46Speaker 3: I was going to say, and finally, Alias may So
- 22:49Speaker 3: they rarely do sightwide sales. Last year, they did thirty
- 22:53Speaker 3: percent off site wide for Black Friday. And I have
- 22:56Speaker 3: a few pieces that I've had in my cart six months.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and I've been waiting for Black Friday, so this
- 23:02Speaker 2: is my chance.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Similarly, Dish Dish very rarely have like almost everything off sales,
- 23:10Speaker 1: and they did twenty five percent off last year, so
- 23:13Speaker 1: I think it's probably likely we'll see something like that
- 23:15Speaker 1: again this year. And they also have currently a twenty
- 23:19Speaker 1: percent off extra on sale items. So I have already
- 23:23Speaker 1: bought a pair of jeans because I was like, I'm
- 23:25Speaker 1: actually happy with that discount. If it was more discounted
- 23:28Speaker 1: and they're gonna get upset about five dollars, probably not. Yeah,
- 23:30Speaker 1: So like that's my question, I asked myself. So that's
- 23:33Speaker 1: definitely one that I'm looking for. And I do think
- 23:36Speaker 1: they've increased the quality recently as well. Like I would
- 23:39Speaker 1: say two years ago, you know, you would kind of
- 23:41Speaker 1: look at the fabric composition go sometimes doing to pay
- 23:43Speaker 1: that that much for that, but I've been looking at
- 23:46Speaker 1: the fabric composition recently of the fiber composition, and I've
- 23:50Speaker 1: been quite happy with some of my purchases. And then
- 23:52Speaker 1: the other one is Realization par They will probably be
- 23:57Speaker 1: doing twenty five percent off. And there's this one dress
- 24:00Speaker 1: that I've been wanting for at least six months. I
- 24:02Speaker 1: would even go so far to say maybe like nine months,
- 24:05Speaker 1: and I've been wanting this dress so much, and Realization
- 24:08Speaker 1: Parer is so expensive, but I know that I've wanted
- 24:11Speaker 1: that dress for so long, so I'm like, I'm getting it, yeah, yeah,
- 24:16Speaker 1: and like I'm happy to pay for it full price,
- 24:19Speaker 1: which hurts my feelings, but I know that that sale
- 24:22Speaker 1: is coming. I'm not going to regret a big purchase
- 24:25Speaker 1: like that. And then my third one, which they're kind
- 24:29Speaker 1: of on my naughty list because the sale is the
- 24:31Speaker 1: same every single year, but again it's a good opportunity
- 24:34Speaker 1: to like get lots of restocks of my beauty cupboard
- 24:38Speaker 1: is the Sephora sales, so they have twenty percent off
- 24:41Speaker 1: minimums spend one hundred and forty dollars. They're on my
- 24:43Speaker 1: naughty list because that minimum spend has gone up from one.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Hundred and three twenty yeah, one twenty two.
- 24:48Speaker 1: One hundred and forty, which I'm like, don't do that,
- 24:51Speaker 1: And I do think one hundred and forty is quite
- 24:52Speaker 1: a significant minimum spend. But like I said, that's when
- 24:56Speaker 1: I'm going to stock up on the items that like
- 24:58Speaker 1: I want or I also we'll probably get a bunch of.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Christmas presents in that.
- 25:03Speaker 1: And then actually I'm breaking the rules and we're gonna
- 25:05Speaker 1: have another one the Iconic.
- 25:07Speaker 2: The Iconic have some.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Of the best sales ever. They price match on top
- 25:13Speaker 1: of that, so like check that out. And then also
- 25:16Speaker 1: they always have spend and saves. They can stack like
- 25:19Speaker 1: deals on top of each other and you can get
- 25:22Speaker 1: incredible savings on the Iconic. It definitely slept on.
- 25:26Speaker 2: It's a great one stop shop when you're doing your
- 25:28Speaker 2: Christmas shop.
- 25:28Speaker 1: My god, you can literally buy everyone's presence from the
- 25:31Speaker 1: Iconic Easy Easy.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I think that's a wrap.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Maybe we need to do an entire second episode on
- 25:37Speaker 1: our wish lists and what we're actually gonna buy and
- 25:40Speaker 1: product recommendations. I think that'll be fun. Let us know
- 25:42Speaker 1: if you want that for next week's episode. But Love
- 25:47Speaker 1: your chicks. Happy Black Friday, Happy Black Friday. We've got
- 25:50Speaker 1: lots more Black Friday content coming. Thank you so much
- 25:52Speaker 1: on your support so far, on all the content and
- 25:55Speaker 1: the kind words. It means the absolute world and we love, yeah,
- 25:58Speaker 1: love your chicks.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Thank you so much for having a senior ear holes.
- 26:01Speaker 2: We Lilla love to be here. Love it new jingle,
- 26:05Speaker 2: Let's go, Love you chicks. Bye Chicks,
