Hellebuyck Trade Talks Stall | Winnipeg Jets News
Connor Hellebuyck’s trade request is heating up, but the Winnipeg Jets aren’t rushing to move their star goalie—offers are too low and the market’s tight. Hellebuyck, who’s grateful for his time in Winnipeg but wants a fresh start with his family, confirmed he’s seeking a change, though not to another Canadian team. With GM Kevin Cheveldayoff refusing to settle for pennies and fans watching closely, it looks like Hellebuyck might stick around for at least this season unless a better deal emerges before training camp.
