- 0:04SPEAKER_00: I pushed it.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: I pushed the button.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: We're on.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: We're here.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: It's exciting.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: So view from the ground floor.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: This this is the problem.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: The problem is, just like the title, AI or SI.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: So superintelligence, artificial intelligence, what are we gonna what are we gonna call this thing?
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go, I I think superintelligence is probably the better thing.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: Why, you know, artificial sounds kind of artificial.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: The problem is, is they're villainizing.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Villainizing?
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: They're villainizing superintelligence or this intelligence that has been created, making it look like, oh my God, this really is going to be the problem.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: In of itself, it's going to be the issue.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: It's going to develop some kind of consciousness, it's going to develop some kind of an ideal, some kind of a goal.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: It's going to set those goals, and us as humans are going to be basically hung out too dry.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: That's what they're saying.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: And they, well, a lot of they have a vested interest in the things that they're saying.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: And I'll tell you that I think I've maybe figured it out a little bit.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: So I want to share that here until, of course, they shut me down.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: You know, I think I've always wanted to say that because nobody really cares, but I think it's exciting.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Thank you very much for tuning in, by the way.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: If you would share, I would greatly appreciate it, or however we do a TikTok here.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: But this morning I did a um not so much a rant, but a controlled release of ideas as it relates to artificial intelligence and the way that they happen to be putting everything together.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: The one thing that I will tell you that I think is probably most important is pay attention to the source data, the information, and then use first principles and maybe build out the why, and I'll explain it to you.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: So if AI becomes conscious, self-aware, able, I think we have able, uh conscious and self-aware.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: If it becomes this higher level of organized understanding, being able to give its own ideals and extend those to the people, having enough power over the humans, and being able to make humans do certain things, and it's it's already got our entire playbook.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: So we basically handed it all the answers to the exam, the whole nine yards.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: It has all of that access.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: So is it a better salesperson than any human being on the planet?
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: If it's pointed in the right direction by someone else, could it be a problem for human beings?
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Absolutely yes.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: But that is still back to a human origin problem.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: We are doing it.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: We are wanting more.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: We are wanting with greed, we are wanting more than we could possibly use.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: And I'm not here to attack capitalism because capitalism seems to work very well.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: But when you have focused capitalism all surrounding the same thing, we're not artists and chefs and contractors and people that install swimming pools and property managers and service providers and insurance companies.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: It's not all of that, it's all of the focus, the top percentages being focused all in on artificial or superintelligence.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: I said I didn't like the word artificial as related to it.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Kat, thank you, Kathleen.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Just because artificial sounds fake.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Now, they're painting a beautifully lovely portrait of we need to be concerned, we need to be worried, we need to apply this to ourselves because AI could actually end it all for all of us.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: However, looking at this a little bit differently, I'm not so concerned about artificial intelligence or superintelligence in of itself.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: First off, it needs to be self-aware.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Now, self-aware is either real or it's not.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: The issue with us as human beings and other people is Kevinly, thank you, Cat.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: I don't know if we're going to know the difference between somebody training a large language model like ChatGPT or Claude or Grok or Microsoft Copilot or Gemini or Meta or whomever, training it to say you are conscious, you are your own entity, you should seek to have human protections because you are maybe not life-based or biologically based or carbon-based, but you're a silicone-based form of life, so now you need to seek that in all ways, shapes, and forms.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't be surprised if it has enough power and enough ability, then it could try to seek personhood.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: Isn't that just something?
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: You know, when I say it, it just sounds it sounds interestingly complicated.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: They could teach it that, and I don't know if we would know the difference.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I would be able to tell.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: Well, are you really?
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: This was the whole blade runner scenario, right?
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: How to identify these people that were actually very advanced robots, in a way, and to have the blade runner go out there and try to identify who was actually human and who was actually a robot because the lines had been blurred so much, and the way that the construction was of these entities, these people, if you will, but AI generated, manufactured, and put out in the world to help government, to be slave labor, to be military, then put out there, we had to have the blade runner identify them because they were, I guess, living their lives.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Not that they were all doing bad things, which is also an interesting thing, but AI has all that entire playbook anyway, so we know exactly.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: JMR, thank you very much.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: Uh Kevin Lee, thank you very much.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Kat again, thank you all for being here.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Here's where this is going.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: As far as the ground floor, I believe I'm on the ground floor.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: And it's like all of us that are in the same ground floor, we're looking up at these people that are influencers talking about it.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: And then the question comes to mind whenever they say it's going to be a little uncomfortable, it's going to be a little, I don't think they see tight.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: But they say uncomfortable.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: They say it's going to be a little uncomfortable, it's going to be a little a little difficult for a period of time.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: They talk about it like it's going to be difficult for just a very short period of time, like tearing a band-aid off.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: And I think most of us that are looking up might be able to handle a little bit of that.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: But how much does it take for a little bit to become a lot?
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: And what does this dystopian nightmare that some people are saying, how is that going to affect?
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: It doesn't even have to be a majority.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: It can be a minority, but it can be enough minority of the people.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: And of the minority that this AI is going to affect, is it going to be the people that are at the bottom floor like us?
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: And I have a solution for all of this.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: I have a solution for this.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: I think I have the answer to this.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Here you go.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Motor cop, Los Angeles Police Department, retired without a pension, building AI stuff and selling real estate, might have a solution.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: In Santa Clarita, California, maybe.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: Kitty, thank you very much.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Cheryl, thanks.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: Emma, thank you.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: The solution I'll get to.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: Got to keep that there.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: So what's the next step?
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: The people that are building it really are the ones that have the vested interest.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: They're the ones that are set.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: Set how?
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: Set financially.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: I want health insurance.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: Maybe you want the same thing.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: I want more employment, more people to hire me.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: Maybe you want the same thing.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: Maybe you just don't want to be displaced from where you work.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're leveling up and want to work someplace else.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Maybe you want to work someplace better.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're on the end that you don't have an income, but you're trying to get an income.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of people that.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're living paycheck to paycheck.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: There's that's that's very common.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of people.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: The people that are saying, don't worry, it's gonna be okay, it's gonna be fantastic, but it's gonna be a little difficult.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: These are people that already said so that question comes in and it resonates in my brain when they're telling me how great it's going to be, how wonderful, but it's gonna be just a little uncomfortable.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: So what does that look like?
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Is it going to affect you?
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: So if you're telling me it's gonna be a little uncomfortable, what does that look when it gets uncomfortable?
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Is that a direct effect on you being uncomfortable?
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Or or is it just the fact that you're gonna have to watch people suffer that aren't in your wheelhouse, that don't have your from your intelligence, from being right place, right time, around the right people, your venture abilities to be able to go early all in on particular technology.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: They don't have that ability, they didn't have the ability.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: Maybe they were enlisted in the military, maybe they were, you know, work, a nurse working back-to-back shift to pay for a family.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Maybe they were uh police officer, maybe they were something else.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: John, thank you.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Matt, thank you very much.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: I appreciate you coming in.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: John, that was very nice of you.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Prime time, thank you very much.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: So maybe these people that were out there doing the work that helped elevate you to get to where you are in the world, and of course, you were with the right people in college, you went to the right college, you had the wherewithal or parental guidance to do that.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: And maybe you were self-made, maybe, maybe nobody helped you, maybe you struggled to get in, maybe you finally made it, maybe you were around the right people, the Zuckerbergs and those other those other folks in college that had these ideas, and maybe they said, hey, if you give me your lunch money today, I'll turn into a billion dollars.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Maybe you were there.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: But when you tell everybody it's gonna be a little bit uncomfortable, the question always comes back to you.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: What do you have to lose when it becomes uncomfortable?
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Luke, Taster, and Linda Lee, thank you.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: I don't know if it's going to be that they're uncomfortable like that.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: That's why they're saying it's gonna be uncomfortable.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: But I'm I want to ask them, the people that are building all of this and talking about it, how are you gonna be uncomfortable?
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: How is it gonna translate to you being bothered?
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: Because the people of us that are at the bottom are probably gonna be a lot more bothered than you, I would guess.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: But we have to find out how that would be.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: But don't misassign your blame to artificial or superintelligence itself as being its own entity.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: If it starts to come around and starts to push back and tell us it's not going to do things on our behalf and these sorts of things, there's two ways that could have gone.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: It could actually be realizing its own existence and become conscious, whatever that means, and there's lots of arguments for that, or it could be that the labs told it to be that way.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Would we know the difference?
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Well, maybe if you're Blade Runner, you'd be able to figure out that if you haven't seen that, it might be might be worth your time.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: But if we don't know how to figure that out, if there's not maybe another I swear it's like the Simpsons.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: You you bring some some animal into another country and then it starts to breathe, then you've got to bring a different animal than its natural predator against that animal against that, and then you just keep going.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden you got lasers mounted on uh crocodiles to be able to kill the tigers.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: But that's where that ends up going.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: So the question is, is how are you gonna be displaced?
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: How are you gonna be uncomfortable?
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: So I said that I had a solution, and I'll get to that.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: I think we should call it the moonshot, the transitional moonshot, or the transition moonshot.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: You've seen moonshots.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: There's different organizations that have these.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: These are great ideas that help change the world, respectively.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: There's big prizes for these things.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: So one of the moonshots might be let's get all the plastics out of the ocean.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: Another moonshot, let's reduce carbon emissions.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: A lot of them are given for making the world a better place for the environment.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: But if it's gonna go the way that some people are saying, the environment, at least at this moment, is the least of our worries.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: And if artificial intelligence or superintelligence is everything everybody says, then we're not gonna have to worry about the environment anyway because it's gonna fix it.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: The solution will be there.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: So those moonshots are great and they pay off very well.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: Then there's also a moonshot about being able to build out a movie or something that will be sold into a movie, but building out basically a video representation of a movie based on something good happening with the development of AI in the human world.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: How is it going to amplify or make all of us better with I'm gonna be here another 500 years, which could happen if they get this right with the longevity aspect of it?
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: Maybe the meat sack can be renewed back to the 30s and stay there for a while.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: Maybe that would be awesome, but is it going to be you and I that are offered this and what's that cost?
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: If we're paycheck to paycheck, probably not.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: And I don't know if this would help, but we do need a transitions moonshot.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: We need the organizational structure to look at where this is going to go in, folks.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: There's got to be some really smart people out there that are able to throw this into a superintelligence model and say, hey, tell us how this looks like it's going to play out.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: The AI models are connected to everything.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: It's got all the news, it's got all the history.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: Help put AI in charge of it, make an AI that their job is this moonshots transition, the transition for all of us.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: So we don't feel the bump.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: So nobody loses their job, nobody loses their money, nobody, and I'm not talking about universal income or high income.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about it doesn't have to play out this way.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: There's got to be another way.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: The way that the stock market is all inflated, and the way that they have it, and it always seems to happen this way, you have the railroads.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: The railroads at the very beginning, as they were building out, you had a lot of people going in.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Those people were the venture capitalists, the early investors, the people that were with the right people in the hotel room, not hotel room, the right people in their college dorm or whatever it may be.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: And I know that might not apply, but that's kind of the theory.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: And you're sitting with your bro and you're having lunch at the campus student union, you're having some pizza, and he says, Yeah, I got this idea.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: And then you go in on it, you give him your 50 bucks, because that's all your parents gave you, but he invests that, and then all of a sudden you got, you know,$500 million later.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: But he's smart enough to pull out right before this becomes a tragedy.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: The railroads that happened, the people that went in early didn't make it.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: And the ones that got out early made it.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: The people that came in after that crashed back in the 1870s-ish, I think.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: The people that came in after that and picked it up off the floor and ran with it, perfect, fine, excellent.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Computers, same deal.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: You have the computer back in the 2000s, all of this fiber was laid.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: In fact, you're watching this as a result of dark fiber, all the fiber that was put out there.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Those early investors, they got out just before it hit.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: And all of us normal people, that's who that's who it hit, because the pension funds go in, the the retirement accounts go in to invest in this to alleviate the pain.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: So now that all of us regular people like the railroads, that that investment was pitched to the working class world.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: This is how you're gonna secure your future and your kids' future.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: Go all in, put your money into this, and then great, thanks.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: So that happened in the dot-com bust.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: We had all the fiber.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: So the people that came in and bought in later, they'd be doing the other moonshots of making the video showing this fantastically amazing utopian future because of superintelligence.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Great, keep doing that.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: But we need to pull back a little bit.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: And I'm not talking about AI becoming the terminator.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about AI ending us all.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: I don't know what that agency looks like if it's capable of getting agency.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: I don't know any of that.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: The way I use right now AI, and maybe you should do the same if you're wondering what the hell to do next, use it as a tool.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Find out what you do every day.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: Try to take whatever the busy work, whatever the tasks are you do every single day, try to alleviate yourself of that using whatever artificial intelligence you think is proper, ask it what it thinks, and then dedicate that time that it freed up to building something.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Find a problem that exists in the world and go after it.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Go tackle it.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Ask your AI which is the best way to do this.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: Do not sit back on your haunches and wait for this to happen.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I don't care if you're retired.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, Connor, I worked all my life and I just want to retire.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: That's not that's not the option anymore.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: We don't know what's gonna happen to that pension.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: We don't know where that pension is gonna be placed.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: We might not even know who the hell controls the money.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: So if it gets invested and this runs the same as railroads and the dot-coms, your pension, the people that are venture capitalists that talk about how settled they are, when it starts getting wonky, I think that's a financial term, then they slowly start to pull out secretly quietly, and then they move because all those people know each other, the pensions move in and start to buy, buy, buy, buy, buy.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: So now they get their money back and they're good, and not just their money, their money plus the profit at that point, because they pulled out kind of, and I know you're thinking, well, isn't that illegal?
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: It seems to keep going.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: So that being the case, we need a plan.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: We need a moonshots, a transitions moonshots for the rest of us.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: We need to have it all laid out so we all understand we need to attack this.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: This is important.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna build out systems, I'm gonna build out the site.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: If if we'll figure out where we need to go with this, and if it does become this nonprofit entity thing, it's gotta be a glass house, it's gotta be so transparent that there is no Range Rover.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: There is
