Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
  August 1st, 2025. And well, I wasn't expecting
• 0:26
that that much scoring last night, but I also wasn't
• 0:30
expecting Trey Lance to go out there and act like he was trying
• 0:34
to rekindle a love affair with all the other GM's that thought
• 0:38
that he could be something someday.
• 0:40
And you know, as Jim over at the Fan of the Van podcast, and if
• 0:45
you're not listening to him, you should be, as he put it, Trey
• 0:48
was out there acting like it was his Super Bowl when everybody
• 0:51
else was playing preseason. So that that put a fork in high
• 0:55
under. So take the L, we move it
• 0:57
forward. All right, tonight, I'm looking
• 0:59
at the baseball. We got the Rangers going into
• 1:02
Seattle. We got a battle for the AL West.
• 1:06
These are two teams they're going to be battling down the
• 1:08
stretch with the Astros trying to get into the playoffs, trying
• 1:12
to win that division out there. We got 2 good pitchers going
• 1:15
tonight. So I like the under.
• 1:17
You know me, I like unders, unless I like overs.
• 1:20
Sometimes I like overs. But anyways, tonight I like the
• 1:22
under. So we're going under 7 and a
• 1:25
half total runs between the Mariners and Rangers and
• 1:29
tonight's MLB baseball action. See anything better than that?
• 1:33
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 1:34
to it. Don't forget to rate, review,
