- 0:00Speaker 1: Stirring the pots one morning at a time. Welcome looking
- 0:05Speaker 1: through the Alabama.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Show yesterday, Yes, I learned that if you complain about
- 0:20Speaker 2: it on Facebook, it'll get fixed.
- 0:23Speaker 3: What does that mean?
- 0:24Speaker 2: So I started ordering Hello Fresh. You know those meal
- 0:28Speaker 2: boxes where it sends you the ingredients and you cook
- 0:30Speaker 2: the meals. Yeah, well, yesterday was my delivery. It got
- 0:35Speaker 2: delivered across the street.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Okay, and I had a.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Picture from FedEx. So I walk across the street to
- 0:41Speaker 2: get the box. The people had already got it and
- 0:44Speaker 2: brought it in. So then I knock on their door.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Nobody answers, they like freeze, nobody comes to the door
- 0:52Speaker 2: or nothing. I was like, they're gonna steal my freaking
- 0:54Speaker 2: eighty taller Hello Fresh box. I call FedEx, I call
- 0:58Speaker 2: Hello Fresh. Nobody can help me. So I posted it
- 1:04Speaker 2: on our What's Happening Facebook group. You got the picture
- 1:07Speaker 2: of it on their porch. Five minutes later, they brought it.
- 1:10Speaker 2: They brought it back, the people did the neighbors. Yeah,
- 1:14Speaker 2: and because I called HelloFresh and said it got delivered
- 1:17Speaker 2: to the wrong address, they didn't charge me.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Okay, that's pretty nice.
- 1:22Speaker 2: That's a nice little light little cherry on top right,
- 1:25Speaker 2: there's an lemonade. But here's what you do forever. If
- 1:29Speaker 2: you ever have an issue in your neighborhood, you post
- 1:32Speaker 2: what's happening in your neighborhood Facebook group, complain about it.
- 1:36Speaker 3: It'll get fixed.
- 1:37Speaker 2: It will anyway. Good morning, thanks for being here. On
- 1:41Speaker 2: the way, eight o'clock. Just be here. Eight o'clock's going
- 1:44Speaker 2: to be a good time. What the hell headlines? Crazy
- 1:46Speaker 2: things people are doing in the news at six fifty
- 1:48Speaker 2: and eight fifty. And if you have some good news
- 1:50Speaker 2: you want to share, we want to hear it too.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Eight three, three, five oh one bima is the number.
- 1:56Speaker 2: It's what the hell headlines? What the hell are you
- 1:59Speaker 2: talking about? On the Alabama Show, a man got caught
- 2:03Speaker 2: stealing steak in his pants. Why what guess where this happened?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Had be Florida. A Florida man is on the run
- 2:12Speaker 2: after trying to steal steak and brisket from a grocery
- 2:15Speaker 2: store by shoving them down his pants. Listen to the
- 2:18Speaker 2: owner of the store talk about.
- 2:19Speaker 4: It, big pants. I think they're like mad first stealing.
- 2:22Speaker 4: You know, he hasn't blocked at the bottom so it
- 2:24Speaker 4: doesn't go through. Game over here looked around to see
- 2:26Speaker 4: if anybody was looking, and he shoved it in his pants.
- 2:29Speaker 4: He ended up going across the street to publics. One
- 2:32Speaker 4: of my employees was on break and saw all the
- 2:35Speaker 4: rest of the stuff that he had brisket, wine wine,
- 2:38Speaker 4: called the cops and we got everything back.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Super easy trivia with The Alabama Show producer Blake Today.
- 2:47Speaker 2: You are the contestant. Come on down, let's go. All right?
- 2:51Speaker 2: You know how ark's a'st the questions you give the answers?
- 2:53Speaker 2: Question number one? Yes, what bird is the only bird
- 2:58Speaker 2: that can fly backwards?
- 3:00Speaker 3: The hummingbird?
- 3:02Speaker 2: How'd you know that?
- 3:03Speaker 3: I know birds?
- 3:05Speaker 2: Cat chap?
- 3:06Speaker 3: Thanks?
- 3:07Speaker 2: How many legs does a spider have? Eight? Usually all
- 3:11Speaker 2: the time, unless you're one of those kids that are
- 3:13Speaker 2: grabbing granddaddy long legs pulling their legs off. Don't do that.
- 3:16Speaker 2: That's me.
- 3:17Speaker 3: That is me. Do not do that.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Last one for the Yes, what Disney character sings let
- 3:26Speaker 2: it go? Let it go? Who sings let it go? Else?
- 3:30Speaker 2: It's a letter?
- 3:31Speaker 5: Yes?
- 3:32Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, congratulations, you want thank you?
- 3:47Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know the Alabama Show.
- 3:50Speaker 2: The Alabama Strawberry Festival was named Alabama's best music festival
- 3:55Speaker 2: in Alabama Magazine's twenty twenty six Best Obama Awards. It
- 3:59Speaker 2: brought in seventy thousand people from thirty five states. So
- 4:03Speaker 2: that's one of Alabama's biggest tourism success stories, which is crazy.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I wouldn't have thought of that. If you've never been
- 4:08Speaker 2: to the Strawberry Festival, it's in Coleman. It is awesome.
- 4:11Speaker 2: They have vendors, they have music, they have all kinds
- 4:13Speaker 2: of stuff. It's a good time. Panera is giving away
- 4:17Speaker 2: free Sourno loafs to celebrate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding.
- 4:21Speaker 2: They're giving away thirteen loafs at each store on July nineteenth.
- 4:25Speaker 2: The promotion is called the Loaf Story. I love this.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Harry Styles just got a Guinness World Record for longest
- 4:33Speaker 2: Wimblee stadium run. He had twelve sol adult shows, which
- 4:36Speaker 2: beat Coldplay's previous record of ten nights in twenty twenty five.
- 4:40Speaker 2: On his last night, which was in front of eighty
- 4:42Speaker 2: thousand people, he talked about one direction. He said, I
- 4:45Speaker 2: wouldn't be on this stage if it wasn't for four
- 4:47Speaker 2: friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey.
- 4:50Speaker 2: I love that, and then he talked about everybody by name.
- 4:54Speaker 2: So I'm glad that he recognized where he came from
- 4:56Speaker 2: and where he is. Now that's three things you need
- 4:59Speaker 2: to know at the Alabama Show dot com.
- 5:03Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show on to men, I.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Wanted to think about four minute things you should never
- 5:08Speaker 2: do in a public bathroom.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Okay, I'm thinking.
- 5:11Speaker 2: By the way, thank you for listening to the Alabama Show.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I'm Alabama with producer Blake this week because I saw
- 5:16Speaker 2: something and I cannot stop thinking about it, and it
- 5:19Speaker 2: is driving me nuts.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I don't know where this is going.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Call the show eight three three five oh one, Bama.
- 5:25Speaker 2: So I've started going back to the gym. Yeah, I've
- 5:27Speaker 2: been doing great. I go to my local YMCA. It's summertime.
- 5:32Speaker 2: People go to the pool.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 2: The middle ground to get from the gym to the
- 5:40Speaker 2: pool is through the women's locker room. Okay, there's a
- 5:44Speaker 2: bathroom right in there.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:46Speaker 2: So I'm in a stall yesterday, okay, and there's somebody
- 5:51Speaker 2: in a stall next to me, a grown woman, not
- 5:53Speaker 2: a kid, grown old lady.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Okay, I'm following.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, you know you sit in the stall sometimes you
- 5:59Speaker 2: look over it at the feet next to you.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you gotta see what they're wearing.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Barefoot, barefoot in the public bathroom, no shoes on, no sandals,
- 6:10Speaker 2: feet touching the bathroom floor.
- 6:12Speaker 5: There's the bathroom floor is dirty, it's got water. It's
- 6:16Speaker 5: a wet bathroom floor. I don't I don't care if
- 6:18Speaker 5: it's pull water or not. It's a bathroom floor. When
- 6:21Speaker 5: you flush the toilet, particles fly.
- 6:24Speaker 3: How do we know it's pull water? That's the throat off.
- 6:29Speaker 2: You don't know. That's why you wear your freaking shoes
- 6:31Speaker 2: in a public bathroom. They would walk into a public
- 6:33Speaker 2: bathroom barefoot. That's the crest thing I've ever seen.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I'm gonna be honest with you. I've done this.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You are nasty.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I've had to before broke.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You're a disgusting human.
- 6:43Speaker 3: What am I supposed to do?
- 6:44Speaker 2: Wear your socks or something. I don't go barefoot. I
- 6:49Speaker 2: wouldn't even set my purse down in a bathroom floor.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Do you know how many germs are on a bathroom floor?
- 6:54Speaker 3: You know how many germs are on your phone?
- 6:58Speaker 2: You can't do my phone in my per My phone's
- 7:00Speaker 2: not going on the bathroom floor.
- 7:02Speaker 3: There are worse places to put your to put your dogs.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Don't got barefoot? Your dog's bit me mean your feet?
- 7:10Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, but you can put them anywhere. Well, you
- 7:13Speaker 3: can clean those.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I think anybody who walks into a public bathroom barefoot
- 7:18Speaker 2: is a terrible human.
- 7:20Speaker 3: It needs to go.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Back to kindergarten. Fight me on this call to show.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you're being a little over dramatic here.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Eight three three five I one and BAMA is the number.
- 7:29Speaker 2: What's the worst thing you've seen somebody do in a
- 7:31Speaker 2: public bathroom? And if you're a barefooter, call to Crack
- 7:34Speaker 2: and Rusty eight three thirty five one two two six two.
- 7:38Speaker 1: If you were listening to the Alabama Show, to.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Man, I saw an old lady in the public bathroom barefoot,
- 7:45Speaker 2: and I'm still grossed out. Now, wonder she has gout?
- 7:49Speaker 3: How do you know she.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Has because she was barefoot in the public bathroom. Trust me,
- 7:53Speaker 2: she's got gout. Eight three thirty five by one and
- 7:56Speaker 2: BAMA is the number. What's the worst thing you should
- 7:58Speaker 2: never do in a public bathroom? We got some comments
- 8:00Speaker 2: on social media, go follow the Alabama Show. Amber says
- 8:04Speaker 2: you should never shave your legs in a public bathroom.
- 8:07Speaker 3: That one I agree with. Why don't be shaving in
- 8:09Speaker 3: general at any bathrooms?
- 8:11Speaker 2: Sarah says, don't use the phone. This makes me mad
- 8:14Speaker 2: when I'm in a bathroom and somebody else is in
- 8:16Speaker 2: a stall and they're having a loud phone conversation and
- 8:20Speaker 2: they won't hang up, especially if I have to like
- 8:23Speaker 2: let it rip. Yeah no, well yeah, what don't do that.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Don't be on the phone in the public bathroom. It's nasty.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Why would you do that. Don't take pictures.
- 8:34Speaker 3: That one gets me too.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Don't take taking pictures in the bathroom.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Of themselves, like in the mirror or whatever, like you
- 8:39Speaker 3: know where they're like flixing when they do that. Don't
- 8:42Speaker 3: do that either.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I Hate three three five oho one BAMA is the
- 8:45Speaker 2: number to call the show.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You're listening to the Alabama Show. The following program is
- 8:50Speaker 1: on demand.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Hate three three five one BAMA is the number to
- 8:53Speaker 2: call the show. Good morning, who's this Katie Hambling? Katie?
- 8:57Speaker 2: Good morning? Where you calling from it?
- 9:00Speaker 3: Oh?
- 9:01Speaker 2: What's going on in Mississippi?
- 9:02Speaker 3: Girl?
- 9:03Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 9:04Speaker 6: The worst thing I've seen in a bathroom?
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yes, what's the worst thing you've seen in a bathroom?
- 9:09Speaker 3: People flicking boogers on the wall.
- 9:13Speaker 2: That's not funny. How old were they? It was at
- 9:20Speaker 2: my job? Okay? Was it kids or adults? Who's still?
- 9:24Speaker 2: Who's flicking boogers on the wall? Where do you work?
- 9:27Speaker 2: What's your job?
- 9:28Speaker 6: I don't have a job now, But what was your
- 9:31Speaker 6: job more than ten years ago?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Okay? Where was it? Was it at a gas station?
- 9:36Speaker 2: What were you doing?
- 9:37Speaker 3: No?
- 9:37Speaker 2: It was called Boundtree minical warehouse. I'm okay.
- 9:41Speaker 7: And the whole wall across corn and bullets was full
- 9:45Speaker 7: of boogers that you flick over there.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Well, I'm glad we don't have a bigger wall in
- 9:55Speaker 2: our bathroom.
- 9:56Speaker 7: The cleaning gal, Oh my god?
- 9:58Speaker 2: Who does was that your ball?
- 10:00Speaker 1: No?
- 10:01Speaker 7: We had accompinated plain okay.
- 10:04Speaker 2: But who was clicking the boogers on the wall? Was
- 10:07Speaker 2: it somebody? We don't know?
- 10:10Speaker 7: But the thing is it was a woman's bathroom.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Thank you for this call. Kate Katie? Is that your name?
- 10:22Speaker 6: Katie Katie? Yeah?
- 10:23Speaker 2: All right, I have a great day you too.
- 10:26Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show on demand eight
- 10:29Speaker 1: three three five O Y Bama is the number to
- 10:32Speaker 1: call the showow Tory, Good morning, Where are you calling from?
- 10:35Speaker 7: I'm calling from Uh, well, I'm calling from Birmingham. I
- 10:39Speaker 7: don't know where because I'm driving home.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I'm for Millbroke. Okay, well, thank you for listening. What's
- 10:45Speaker 2: something you've seen somebody do in a public bathroom?
- 10:48Speaker 7: It's similar to the present recent caller about the booger
- 10:51Speaker 7: but it was definitely one of the employees, and it
- 10:54Speaker 7: was an employee bathroom, so it was male and female.
- 10:57Speaker 7: But buggers. But we have a name for it. We
- 11:00Speaker 7: call it the Booker bandit.
- 11:03Speaker 2: What is going on the people and boogers on us?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Why did they got so bad that there's toilet paper
- 11:11Speaker 2: right there? Why did you not just blow your nose?
- 11:15Speaker 7: That's saying it eventually stopped after a certain person left.
- 11:20Speaker 7: So that's just my suspicion.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Y'all figured out who what? Y'all found the booger bandits.
- 11:27Speaker 7: But they got bad that the owner had to send
- 11:30Speaker 7: an email out about it.
- 11:32Speaker 2: What in the email?
- 11:35Speaker 7: I can't remember exactly what said, but it's pretty much
- 11:37Speaker 7: just like being sanitary and uh, you know, not putting things.
- 11:42Speaker 1: On the wall.
- 11:44Speaker 2: The curious case of the.
- 11:47Speaker 7: Let the Booker bandit lives on.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I need I needed to know your suspicions was it
- 11:56Speaker 2: a guy or girl.
- 11:58Speaker 7: I think it was a girl.
- 12:01Speaker 2: The books again, I gotta go. I can't handle this.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Thank you for.
- 12:13Speaker 1: It's what the hell headlines?
- 12:15Speaker 2: What the hell are you talking about? On the Alabama Show,
- 12:19Speaker 2: people are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to be
- 12:22Speaker 2: buried next to celebrities.
- 12:26Speaker 3: And they're actually paying this.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Yes, there is a report some celebrity super fans are
- 12:31Speaker 2: spending a lot of money. So one Marilyn Monroe fan
- 12:34Speaker 2: paid one hundred and ninety five thousand dollars for a
- 12:37Speaker 2: mausoleum near Marilyn Monroe, and then another guy paid fifty
- 12:42Speaker 2: thousand dollars to be buried next to Judy Garland. Listen
- 12:45Speaker 2: to this.
- 12:46Speaker 8: Judy Garland is an iconic Hollywood figure, and the Hollywood
- 12:49Speaker 8: Forever Cemetery is an iconic location. And as an independent artist,
- 12:54Speaker 8: my biggest complaint is not being seen. This ensures that
- 12:57Speaker 8: I will be seen forever. Always a huge Wizard of
- 13:00Speaker 8: Oz fan, and I love musicals, so yes, it's a
- 13:03Speaker 8: it's a pretty good match.
- 13:04Speaker 3: I don't even know what to say.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Who would you be buried next to?
- 13:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Jason Momoa, Baby.
- 13:12Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know you with the
- 13:15Speaker 1: Alabama Show.
- 13:16Speaker 2: There's a new national alert system thanks to an Alabama teenager.
- 13:19Speaker 2: If you remember Lulu Gribbin, she survived a shark attack
- 13:23Speaker 2: off the coast of Florida. She lost her left hand,
- 13:25Speaker 2: part of her right leg, and she almost lost her
- 13:27Speaker 2: life that day. What nobody knows is there is another
- 13:30Speaker 2: woman who had been attacked by a shark ninety minutes earlier,
- 13:34Speaker 2: three miles down the beach. So Lulu has been fighting
- 13:37Speaker 2: for a new federal legislation. Trump signed Lulu's Law, which
- 13:42Speaker 2: requires the Federal Communications Commission to allow emergency messages get
- 13:47Speaker 2: sent to your phone if other people in your area
- 13:49Speaker 2: at the beach have been attacked by a shark that day.
- 13:52Speaker 2: So that's awesome, Lulu, thanks for making that happen. Prangles
- 13:56Speaker 2: just dropped a first of its kind pop Dog Buns,
- 13:59Speaker 2: which potato based hot dog buns. They come into Pringles
- 14:02Speaker 2: Can They come in three of the chips flavors sour
- 14:05Speaker 2: cream and onion, barbecue and honey mustard, and you can
- 14:07Speaker 2: get a bun for free with a purchase of a
- 14:09Speaker 2: Pringles three pack of Crisp on once you pop market
- 14:12Speaker 2: dot com. That's one she popped Market dot com whilst
- 14:16Speaker 2: supplies last. There's another a lister who was not invited
- 14:20Speaker 2: to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelty's wedding.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Who could it be this time?
- 14:24Speaker 2: So we already talked about Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
- 14:26Speaker 2: were not their sources now say that Megan Markle was
- 14:30Speaker 2: trying to get an invite to the wedding and was denied.
- 14:33Speaker 2: They said that Taylor and Travis only wanted people to
- 14:36Speaker 2: come that they really cared about. But if you look
- 14:37Speaker 2: at the list, Codan O, Brian and Brad Pitt, who
- 14:40Speaker 2: which one of them is friends with? Brad Pitt?
- 14:42Speaker 3: It has to be taste.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Apparently there were a lot of celebrities and billionaires that
- 14:47Speaker 2: kept trying to call in favors to get invited to
- 14:49Speaker 2: Taylor Swift's wedding. It was like the event to go
- 14:52Speaker 2: to that is crazy, I know. Anyway, Megan Markle not invited,
- 14:58Speaker 2: neither was Blake Lively or Ryan Reynolds. That's three things
- 15:01Speaker 2: you need to know more at the Alabama Show dot com.
- 15:05Speaker 1: If you're listening to The Alabama Show on.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Demand eight three thirty five I one and Bama is
- 15:10Speaker 2: the number to call in if you have good news,
- 15:13Speaker 2: shil In, good morning. Do you have good news you
- 15:15Speaker 2: want to share?
- 15:16Speaker 6: I do.
- 15:16Speaker 7: I hit my weight goal today.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm been struggling over a year. What was your
- 15:25Speaker 2: weight goal?
- 15:25Speaker 6: I get down? My weight goal was one twenty five
- 15:28Speaker 6: and I went from two ninety down to one twenty five.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Yes, what did you What did you
- 15:34Speaker 2: do to lose the weight?
- 15:35Speaker 6: I started with trizeptide for the first six months, and
- 15:40Speaker 6: then once I got healthy eating habits, I just focused
- 15:43Speaker 6: on that and mountain calories and at home workouts.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I love that. I am sure that there are people
- 15:49Speaker 2: listening who are also on their own weight loss journey.
- 15:53Speaker 2: And you tell me your starting weight and what you
- 15:56Speaker 2: just hit again, because this is going to inspire some
- 15:58Speaker 2: people today.
- 16:00Speaker 6: That two ninety when I had my daughter and now
- 16:03Speaker 6: I'm down to one twenty five.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Josh, it is.
- 16:06Speaker 2: So awesome Shyling, congratulations and thank you for sharing.
- 16:10Speaker 6: Thank you. Have a good day.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Guys, you were listening to the Alabama Show producer Blake's
- 16:16Speaker 2: trying to be a hot tan man. Yes, im thanks
- 16:22Speaker 2: for listening to the Alabama Show. I'm Alabama with producer Blake.
- 16:26Speaker 2: So you went to the beach last week and he
- 16:28Speaker 2: did not take sunscreen?
- 16:30Speaker 3: Correct, I did not take any And we all.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Told you you were crazy because you're the whitest guy
- 16:34Speaker 2: ever with.
- 16:35Speaker 3: A red beard. Well, I'm trying to change it up.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Did you get sunburned?
- 16:40Speaker 3: I don't think so. I do not think I did
- 16:42Speaker 3: at all.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Okay, what do you think you got because you you
- 16:46Speaker 2: said in an email, you were like, I'm a little
- 16:50Speaker 2: tan now.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I'm a little tan now, more tan than I have
- 16:53Speaker 3: been in a long time.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I see white skin with freckles. You were not tan, buddy.
- 16:58Speaker 2: What are you trying to get a tan for?
- 17:00Speaker 3: Kind of look good for myself.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Did you get any sun anywhere else beside your arm?
- 17:08Speaker 3: A little bit?
