- 0:35Speaker 3: he's here. I will say this, Candace, oh, do I
- 0:38Speaker 3: got some beef with producer Pooh Oh?
- 0:41Speaker 1: Yes? Why really? Because he should be punished for what
- 0:45Speaker 1: he did. Okay, he did something.
- 0:47Speaker 3: He did something yesterday. And listen, this is why I
- 0:50Speaker 3: love our listeners. I love the ogs.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Okay, that's what.
- 0:53Speaker 1: We're gonna call our listeners.
- 0:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:54Speaker 6: I like that.
- 0:55Speaker 1: We need something to call him. It's cool.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:58Speaker 3: And because they're like family to us, even if we've
- 1:01Speaker 3: never met you, I feel like we know you.
- 1:02Speaker 1: You're family. You're an O. G Right, Well, I get
- 1:05Speaker 1: a couple of texts yesterday, d MS.
- 1:08Speaker 4: I should say there's.
- 1:09Speaker 1: On Instagram about Pooh texting and driving. No, no, I
- 1:15Speaker 1: don't do that, alright. I stopped doing that.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I talked really yeah, okay, all right, yeah, yeah.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I stopped doing that.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Were you producer, who were you in the mixed vehicle yesterday?
- 1:31Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:31Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, okay.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Okay, all right.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Well, you know what, I might have a little something
- 1:40Speaker 3: to dispute your claim that you didn't text and drive.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I do your honor. Maybe this should be a candis
- 1:46Speaker 1: quarter a little later on.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yeah, because I have pictures of pooh no, I ran
- 1:54Speaker 3: it through a checker, an AI screener of him. I'm
- 1:59Speaker 3: a highway texting to the point where he wasn't moving,
- 2:03Speaker 3: holding up traffic about seven car lengths. No, no, no, yeah,
- 2:09Speaker 3: he was sitting in traffic. No no, yeah, he was
- 2:12Speaker 3: sitting in traffic, but it was moving. And I have
- 2:14Speaker 3: a picture of him staring at his phone.
- 2:16Speaker 1: And not the road.
- 2:18Speaker 8: What yesterday? Yes, pooh no, I did look at my phone.
- 2:23Speaker 1: But oh I was trying to find this place to
- 2:25Speaker 1: go pick up a package. That's it. But I wouldn't. Yeah,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I wouldn't.
- 2:30Speaker 8: I wasn't texting. I'm guilty of looking at my phone.
- 2:33Speaker 8: Yeah I did that. I wasn't texting though, All.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Right, good, I'm just saying, you.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Know, if he's looking out in directions on his GPS.
- 2:40Speaker 4: That's normal.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Can this is multiple claims. I've gotten multiple complaints. I've
- 2:44Speaker 3: gotten a Pooh driving like a maniac in the mixed vehicle.
- 2:47Speaker 8: No, I'm chilled out on that because everybody so people
- 2:50Speaker 8: hit me up and there like producer Pooh, I think
- 2:52Speaker 8: cut me off. I'm thirty. Oh really, you know what
- 2:57Speaker 8: what last week? I wasn't driving to MIXCU. Somebody else
- 3:01Speaker 8: wasn't last week.
- 3:01Speaker 4: They drive it to events all the time.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, that's why we have so I just want
- 3:05Speaker 1: it sometimes.
- 3:07Speaker 4: No, that's true.
- 3:09Speaker 1: You in the car okay, okay, yeah you got you got.
- 3:12Speaker 8: That must have been another guy because last time somebody
- 3:17Speaker 8: said they got a z in. Our boss said that
- 3:19Speaker 8: somebody had told her, hey you did you cut this lady?
- 3:22Speaker 8: I was like, no, I wasn't driving the vehicle. I
- 3:25Speaker 8: just want to make see you in the vehicle. Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 3:28Speaker 8: he said cool.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Cool. It's not cool. No, it's not opposite of cool.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It's not cool. But I wouldn't text your driving. I promise.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I know not. I cut people off, but I don't
- 3:36Speaker 1: text you.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Come on now, all right, we might take that to
- 3:42Speaker 3: Cannas Court and I'll show you the evidence.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I'll enter the evidence. Judge. Oh wow, Cannas, how are
- 3:47Speaker 1: you this morning?
- 3:48Speaker 4: I'm good. But speaking of like crazy drivers, I'm trying
- 3:50Speaker 4: to decide when or when not to be a Karen
- 3:54Speaker 4: or to be a Karen. It's like a tough question
- 3:56Speaker 4: because you know this little turn under the bridge right
- 3:58Speaker 4: here in front of the radio station.
- 3:59Speaker 1: The little turn around on the toy.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Yeah, there was like two of those like blinkboard trucks
- 4:03Speaker 4: or whatever they are. They like have a little trailer
- 4:05Speaker 4: and they pop up like the arrow sides or whatever
- 4:07Speaker 4: like that, and they just stopped under the bridge. I
- 4:11Speaker 4: had to slam on my brakes. They got out under
- 4:14Speaker 4: the bridge to like retie something that was maybe loose.
- 4:16Speaker 4: They both got out of their trucks. Then the truck's
- 4:19Speaker 4: behind me blocking me and from behind, so I can't
- 4:21Speaker 4: even get out. I'm like trapped in that little turn.
- 4:24Speaker 1: That's what happens when we come to work so early.
- 4:25Speaker 3: The Toay people they just work on it at this time,
- 4:28Speaker 3: so we have to do whatever they want.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Well, they just stopped under the bridge. Yeah, there was
- 4:32Speaker 4: nowhere for me to go. I had to slam on
- 4:34Speaker 4: my brakes because who thinks there's like a billboard truck.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Like, Well, there was a reason for that because actually
- 4:39Speaker 3: one of them had a flat I know know they
- 4:42Speaker 3: did because Pooh cut him off.
- 4:45Speaker 1: He ran into the curb. No, and then he stalled
- 4:48Speaker 1: under the bridge.
- 4:49Speaker 5: No.
- 4:49Speaker 4: But I take a picture of the back, you know
- 4:51Speaker 4: how it has the number on it, and I'm like,
- 4:53Speaker 4: do I report you? It has the website. I almost
- 4:57Speaker 4: like smashed into this thing. And then the guy behind
- 4:59Speaker 4: me on amost smashed into me.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Well, Karen, write a strong worded note.
- 5:03Speaker 4: I don't know if I should. I'm trying to decide
- 5:05Speaker 4: am I Karen or not?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Today? Okay, well you know I might take you to
- 5:08Speaker 1: Billy Court. Okay, Karen Court.
- 5:10Speaker 4: They slammed on their brain.
- 5:12Speaker 1: That's ridiculous. Yeah, I pay for this toll way.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I just used the toll way.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It made me spill my sour dough bread.
- 5:23Speaker 4: So mad, and then they trapped me. And I'm like,
- 5:25Speaker 4: I'm gonna be late for work because you guys trapped
- 5:27Speaker 4: me under the bridge.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Well it sounds like a song. You made it.
- 5:30Speaker 4: I didn't make it.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Congratulations, and I think you should write a strong worded
- 5:34Speaker 3: note to the toll way.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Yeah, m dear Nt t A, I have some beef
- 5:40Speaker 1: with you and your employees. Okay, well I'm sorry.
- 5:43Speaker 4: That if I smashed into that would have been his fault.
- 5:46Speaker 3: It would have been his fault. Yeah, well you should
- 5:48Speaker 3: have control your car. It'd have been your fault.
- 5:50Speaker 4: That's right.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I won't anyways, Producer, what about you besides driving awful?
- 5:58Speaker 8: Okay, I got I got a question. I'll ask can
- 6:01Speaker 8: just because she's a lady of the show. Okay, yesterday
- 6:04Speaker 8: I went to Central Market over here off Cooite and that's.
- 6:07Speaker 4: A nice one.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I went and I got a picture you there too.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Yeah, that's who sent it to me. Go ahead, the
- 6:16Speaker 4: floral department.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I'm just curious, like.
- 6:19Speaker 8: Ladies enjoyed, thoroughly enjoy you know, going to grocery stores.
- 6:22Speaker 8: And the reason why I asked is because I noticed
- 6:24Speaker 8: all the guys that were, you know, booed up.
- 6:27Speaker 1: They look so miserable, you know what I mean.
- 6:30Speaker 8: And I remember like in my past girls that I've dated,
- 6:33Speaker 8: I never went to the let's go to the grocery store.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I never wanted to as that. I never wanted to
- 6:38Speaker 1: go to Wow. Yeah, they like shopping, you know.
- 6:41Speaker 4: I mean maybe like early on in your relationship, it's
- 6:44Speaker 4: like a very like we're playing house kind of vibe.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yes right now.
- 6:48Speaker 4: No, I'm not putting you through that unless I have.
- 6:50Speaker 1: To, and it's just gonna slow you down.
- 6:53Speaker 8: Yeah, because I just like to go in and out,
- 6:55Speaker 8: you know, go get what I want to know?
- 6:56Speaker 1: You don't you love going to grocery stores? Not yet?
- 7:00Speaker 8: Yeah, by myself, but like if I was going, I
- 7:03Speaker 8: don't think i'd do it if I was dating so much.
- 7:05Speaker 4: I think it's because it feels like a commitment, like
- 7:07Speaker 4: a domestic thing.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:08Speaker 3: That's also anyway, Oh okay, there's no one in your
- 7:11Speaker 3: life to do that with.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah, No, I know I can't do it right now, nobody.
- 7:15Speaker 5: No.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I was just thinking.
- 7:16Speaker 8: I was like, man, you know because in my past,
- 7:19Speaker 8: like I said, I've told girls like did you think.
- 7:21Speaker 3: About that while you were cutting everyone off just saying rights.
- 7:28Speaker 7: Top Stories on the Tens with Billy's a Kid in.
- 7:30Speaker 6: The Morning only on the New Mix one or two
- 7:33Speaker 6: point nine.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Early on a Wednesday morning, Candice Slowpez, what is going on?
- 7:37Speaker 6: Well?
- 7:37Speaker 4: American Airlines is back up and running after a global
- 7:39Speaker 4: groundstop was issued yesterday because of an it outage, so
- 7:44Speaker 4: they don't know what caused the outage. But the ground
- 7:46Speaker 4: stop lasted for just under an hour. But this caused
- 7:48Speaker 4: eleven hundred delayed flights and more than two hundred and
- 7:51Speaker 4: twenty cancelations. I think there's only one more airport that's
- 7:54Speaker 4: trying to make up flights for this, maybe Charlotte or something.
- 7:59Speaker 4: But awful, all of a sudden, we just ground stop.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on with traveling lately.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Yeah, and air systems are down.
- 8:05Speaker 3: The systems are always messed up. Everyone is always delayed
- 8:09Speaker 3: more than I can ever remember. It's almost like the
- 8:11Speaker 3: government needs to get involved and put higher, you know,
- 8:14Speaker 3: punishments on these airlines. Just do whatever they want, right,
- 8:17Speaker 3: they do whatever they want.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, and they're canceling, you know, letting go the
- 8:21Speaker 4: total whole departments, you know, not the airlines. I think
- 8:24Speaker 4: they're being mandated to do certain things. But yeah, something's
- 8:27Speaker 4: got to give at this point.
- 8:28Speaker 3: I'm not talking about the people who work hard, the
- 8:30Speaker 3: ground crews, the gate agents. I'm talking about you know,
- 8:33Speaker 3: the higher ups who just run this, these airlines like
- 8:36Speaker 3: they just it's a monopoly.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure, for sure. So hopefully if you're flying today.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Things are back to normal, but definitely check guys. The
- 8:44Speaker 4: lineup for the world's largest pickle party is out. Do
- 8:48Speaker 4: you guys remember this last year at Texas Live. No,
- 8:52Speaker 4: well it was the first one. It's sold out. Yeah,
- 8:56Speaker 4: the world's largest pickle party. It happens right here in Arlington.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I don't remember this.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Yeah. So there's music, a pickle eating Championship, a pickle
- 9:05Speaker 4: juice chug challenge, a rave but listen to this. This
- 9:08Speaker 4: year's headliner is Snooky from Jersey Shore.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Okay, is this story made up?
- 9:12Speaker 6: No?
- 9:13Speaker 4: This is real. She's been crowned America's pickle Queen.
- 9:16Speaker 1: What fever dream in my d.
- 9:18Speaker 4: This is legit. She's going to be doing a VIP
- 9:21Speaker 4: meet and greet. She'll be on the main stage during
- 9:23Speaker 4: the day. I know they have Pickle Row, which is
- 9:26Speaker 4: like unlimited tastings from Best Made and other top pickle brands.
- 9:30Speaker 4: That's the whole thing.
- 9:31Speaker 3: I love pickles, don't get me wrong. I just don't
- 9:33Speaker 3: know there was a whole pickle fest.
- 9:34Speaker 4: There is. I mean there's a pickle parade at Mansfield
- 9:36Speaker 4: Pickle Palooza.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like, what is this called again? It's a pickle.
- 9:40Speaker 4: What this is the world's Let me see, it's the
- 9:43Speaker 4: world's largest pickle party.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I want to go?
- 9:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Can we give away tickets?
- 9:48Speaker 4: It definitely sounds fun. It's happening November seventh at eleven am.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Tickets start at twenty nine ninety nine and go up
- 9:53Speaker 4: to one hundred and nine ninety nine.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I'm not spending two hundred dollars to go see pickles.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Well, you get like all the kirk with that one,
- 10:00Speaker 4: like early entry, stuff like that, photo ops, things like
- 10:03Speaker 4: that with what, I.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Don't know, pickles, snookie and pickles. Probably this is a
- 10:08Speaker 1: weird story, so weird.
- 10:10Speaker 4: So people love to just have a theme to celebrate.
- 10:13Speaker 4: And if it's pickles, do it.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Should we dress up as pickles to do I will go.
- 10:18Speaker 4: Pickle pickle hats.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not above it.
- 10:25Speaker 4: No, Yeah, it sounds fun. That sounds great, real quick, guys.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Macaulay Cocaine reportedly met with Disney to talk about a
- 10:32Speaker 4: Home Alone sequel. Uh if you remember he put this
- 10:35Speaker 4: idea out there last year when they had the thirty
- 10:38Speaker 4: fifth anniversary screening, and it sounds like Disney's into it.
- 10:41Speaker 4: His idea is that Kevin McAllister is a widower or
- 10:45Speaker 4: a divorcee raising a sun by himself, and basically he's like,
- 10:48Speaker 4: I'm working really hard, not paying enough attention to him.
- 10:51Speaker 4: I get locked out, and then he's the one, you
- 10:53Speaker 4: know who won't let me in and is pranking me,
- 10:55Speaker 4: setting all the traps. So you don't like it.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:59Speaker 3: I just get really nervous redoing movies that are iconic, Yeah,
- 11:02Speaker 3: because you know, I mean, it's just why can't we
- 11:05Speaker 3: just have it the way it is? We'll always love
- 11:06Speaker 3: that movie. It's one of our favorite movies ever.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I mean you never hear from anybody that they're like,
- 11:11Speaker 1: oh I hate Home Alone. No, for sure, one of
- 11:13Speaker 1: the best movies ever.
- 11:14Speaker 4: I mean when they redid Home Alone with a kid
- 11:16Speaker 4: that wasn't Kevin mccatt wasn't macaulay Culkin, that's where we
- 11:19Speaker 4: took it too far. But I think like him as
- 11:21Speaker 4: the dad, I could totally get into that. If the
- 11:23Speaker 4: writing is on point, he's gonna be fantastic.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, and I liked that he's in a good
- 11:27Speaker 1: place because remember McCaulay culkin wasn't always in the best place. Yes,
- 11:31Speaker 1: So the fact that he's like active in doing this
- 11:33Speaker 1: and doing great makes me happy.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:35Speaker 1: No, same, because not many child stars can say that.
- 11:38Speaker 1: So I mean, yeah, I guess I would watch it.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I definitely would. So I'll keep you posted. Guys.
- 11:42Speaker 4: I'm Canda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I just need to wake up. It's makes one or
- 11:47Speaker 1: two point nine.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Good morning, Billy the Kid, Canda Slopez is here, Producer
- 11:50Speaker 3: Poo is here this morning. It's gonna be hot today.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Just heads up, one hundred and sunny. Pretty much same
- 11:55Speaker 3: thing as yesterday. Yeah, same thing tomorrow too. I mean
- 11:58Speaker 3: there's no rain in sight. This is that part of
- 12:01Speaker 3: the summer that gets a little light.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Yeah. We had a good last year, only seven one
- 12:05Speaker 4: hundred degree or above days, and we're already at that
- 12:07Speaker 4: this year.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Are we already? Wow?
- 12:09Speaker 3: Okay, fun facts, fun fun fact of today from Kandice Lopez.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Look at that fun.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Fact, Lopez. Okay, that's your fun fact. Sound okay? All right,
- 12:18Speaker 3: we got tickets to go to n r H two O.
- 12:20Speaker 3: We're gonna be there Friday. Let's get you in.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 12:22Speaker 3: We want you to come out. I want to hang
- 12:23Speaker 3: with you. I want to say thank you for listening.
- 12:26Speaker 3: So we're gonna get like one hundred and two people
- 12:27Speaker 3: in for free on Friday to hang out with us
- 12:29Speaker 3: and celebrate their new ride, nitro Blast.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Who's his No?
- 12:32Speaker 5: Thank you? No?
- 12:34Speaker 1: Thank you? Well, good morning? No, thank you?
- 12:38Speaker 8: My coffee order?
- 12:39Speaker 1: Oh okay.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I was like, dang, you just hit me with a
- 12:44Speaker 3: no thank you?
- 12:46Speaker 9: Yeah, sorry, that's okay.
- 12:49Speaker 1: No, you got to get that coffee. What's your name?
- 12:51Speaker 4: My name is Maddie.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Maddie. Guess what you're calling number one? There you go? Yeah,

- 13:03Speaker 7: Oh.
- 13:03Speaker 4: I love blackrock.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Blackrock is good too.
- 13:05Speaker 8: I love blackrock.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Yeah, look at you could tell you're a coffee kind
- 13:09Speaker 3: of sewer if you go to black Rock, you know,

- 13:20Speaker 1: A good day you too. Were you just telling me
- 13:22Speaker 1: about black Rock?
- 13:23Speaker 4: Yeah? They were in the parking lot where we did
- 13:25Speaker 4: stuff of us last year. That's how I found out.
- 13:27Speaker 4: But they were on some list I just looked.
- 13:28Speaker 1: At Yeah that's right, Yeah, good coffee.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Top competitors for Starbucks.
- 13:33Speaker 1: I didn't know that. Is that another fun fact? It
- 13:36Speaker 1: is good lot my bad Wait, fun fact. Lopez just
- 13:42Speaker 1: dropping fun facts all of it. I can't keep on.
- 13:44Speaker 4: I know I'm catch them all learning on my computer.
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, I like computer realer fake news. Let's do it.
- 13:52Speaker 3: I got three headlines. One of them is fake. You
- 13:54Speaker 3: gotta tell me which one, and the news is extra crazy.
- 13:56Speaker 3: So here we go. Headline and number one. A Japanese
- 14:00Speaker 3: company has created refrigerators for humans. Excuse me, a Japanese
- 14:06Speaker 3: company has created refrigerators for humans.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Headline number one. Headline umber two.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Man arrested after causing disturbance at buffet because they weren't
- 14:16Speaker 3: quote restocking the shrimp fast enough. Man arrested after causing
- 14:22Speaker 3: disturbance at buffet because they weren't quote restocking the shrimp
- 14:27Speaker 3: fast enough.
- 14:28Speaker 10: I've seen that before. Golden Corral was this pooh? Yeah, yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 10: I haven't been to a buffet. I can't even tell
- 14:34Speaker 10: you when I last time I've been to a buffet. Yes,
- 14:37Speaker 10: a good buffet goes hard. Yeah, its Golden Corral though
- 14:42Speaker 10: as well. Golden Corral a ma squie. Yeah it's different,
- 14:46Speaker 10: dah you are? You are a gambling man?
- 14:51Speaker 1: All right?
- 14:51Speaker 3: Headline number three, twenty three percent of people have broken
- 14:55Speaker 3: up with someone over annoying sleep Habitskay, twenty three percent
- 15:00Speaker 3: of people have broken up with someone over annoying sleep habits.
- 15:05Speaker 3: You got three right there? Three headlines? One of them
- 15:09Speaker 3: is fake? Which one is fake? Candice slow Pitz you
- 15:11Speaker 3: want to go first? You want to pass it to
- 15:13Speaker 3: l Poo poo.
- 15:14Speaker 4: I think I'm gonna go first today. Lock me in
- 15:18Speaker 4: for that last story, the sleep habit story?
- 15:20Speaker 7: Really?
- 15:21Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Do you think that's percentages high?
- 15:23Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 15:23Speaker 4: I think that's high.
- 15:24Speaker 3: So you don't think twenty three percent of people would
- 15:26Speaker 3: break up with someone over annoying sleep habits?
- 15:28Speaker 6: No?
- 15:28Speaker 1: Wow, Okay, let's lock that in.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 15:31Speaker 1: Locked in, producer Pooh? Which one do you think is
- 15:34Speaker 1: the fake story? Okay?
- 15:35Speaker 8: Lock me in for that first story. I don't believe
- 15:37Speaker 8: in human refrigerators?
- 15:40Speaker 6: No?
- 15:40Speaker 1: Really? Yeah? No, so you want to you want to?
- 15:43Speaker 1: You sure you want to lock that in?
- 15:44Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Locked lock it in? You're on two days of winning? Yeah?
- 15:47Speaker 1: Are lock it in? Are you positive? Jims?
- 15:50Speaker 8: Because I believe somebody would throw a fit at a buffet.
- 15:53Speaker 8: So yeah, lock me in for the refrigerator.
- 15:55Speaker 1: You are locked in, Click clack, and the winner today is.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Me.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Guys both missed the fake story. The fake story was
- 16:11Speaker 3: the buffet story. Wow, I know it does sound realistic though,
- 16:16Speaker 3: like somebody in Mesquite would just go crazy at the
- 16:20Speaker 3: Golden Corral.
- 16:21Speaker 4: Yeah, it's gonna have happened somewhere.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I need to go to a buffet.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Sounds good.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I almost went in Vegas when I was there last time,
- 16:28Speaker 3: but I was like, I just don't want to eat
- 16:29Speaker 3: all that food.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Yeah, it's so expensive. Could you even eat enough to
- 16:32Speaker 4: make it worth it?
- 16:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not that bad in Vegas.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Okay, I haven't been in a while.
- 16:36Speaker 3: If you lose enough money, they'll comp it for you.
- 16:39Speaker 1: You want a thousand dollars buffet, That's what it is.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Pretty much like when I go to Windstar, I'm like,
- 16:44Speaker 3: well that was a fun five hundred dollars free coffee,
- 16:47Speaker 3: free soda.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, unlimited though.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, let's get to the real stories. A Japanese
- 16:54Speaker 3: company has created refrigerators for humans.
- 16:57Speaker 1: This is real. It's a personal cooling cabinet.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Okay, it's a metallic container with a transparent glass door design.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Is a personal cooling space for humans. I love that
- 17:07Speaker 3: they make it clear so.
- 17:08Speaker 4: You can see right I'm in here.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Do I really want to see you? Just in
- 17:12Speaker 1: a refrigerator? Right? Oh you're in there? My bad? Yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 1: let me just move to the next one. You climb
- 17:20Speaker 1: in it.
- 17:20Speaker 3: You sit in on a built in seat, and you
- 17:23Speaker 3: enjoy air cool to approximately forty one degrees fahrenheit. The
- 17:27Speaker 3: air is directed towards your head, neck, shoulders, and back.
- 17:30Speaker 3: It kind of feels like the jets of a hot tub.
- 17:32Speaker 3: They say, they say this is incredible for your health. Okay,
- 17:36Speaker 3: so not only just to cool you down, but they
- 17:38Speaker 3: say the cool air invigorates your blood.
- 17:41Speaker 1: It gives you energy. It's pretty much like a cold
- 17:44Speaker 1: plunge with air.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Okay.
- 17:45Speaker 3: It sounds miserable to me unless I'm in the heat
- 17:48Speaker 3: like today.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and I go right in there and then I
- 17:51Speaker 1: get out.
- 17:52Speaker 4: But it isn't it a shock when you just come
- 17:53Speaker 4: right back out to the heat.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Yeah? Okay, Well everything's a shock when you walk into
- 17:57Speaker 1: this heat.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true.
- 17:58Speaker 1: But I was all in. I'm like, I'm might get
- 18:00Speaker 1: one of these for fun if it's really good for
- 18:01Speaker 1: your health.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Until I saw the price tag how much they started
- 18:05Speaker 3: nine thousand dollars. I'll just go into the quick trip.
- 18:10Speaker 3: You walk in beer cooler? Yeah, I mean, same thing. Okay,
- 18:14Speaker 3: sit on some natty lights for sure.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I'll be fox playing all day. Yeah.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Oh, I already sleep with like eight fans on Yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 3: got me, but those in the summer when you walk
- 18:25Speaker 3: going in like the racetrack. I go to the racetrack
- 18:27Speaker 3: as a walking beer cooler. Wow, you've never been to
- 18:30Speaker 3: a walking beer cooler.
- 18:31Speaker 4: No, not a racetrack.
- 18:32Speaker 1: You're so classy you've never walked into a walking beer cooler.
- 18:36Speaker 4: I mean a probably at some point, but I care
- 18:38Speaker 4: not lately.
- 18:39Speaker 1: And you say you're from a squie all right. Next story.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Twenty three percent of people have broken up with someone
- 18:45Speaker 3: over annoying sleep habits.
- 18:46Speaker 1: This is a real statistic.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Twenty three percent say they've broken up because they just
- 18:51Speaker 3: can't deal with it, while sixty four percent say they're
- 18:54Speaker 3: willing to accept them even if they find the annoying
- 18:56Speaker 3: sleep habit disruptive.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I mean, you know I love a good list.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, one.
- 19:03Speaker 1: You want the annoying sleep habits that people can't stand.
- 19:06Speaker 3: They've broken up with people over this. Let's start with
- 19:08Speaker 3: number five. Getting up too much during the night to
- 19:11Speaker 3: use the restroom. Oh, if your partner does that, is
- 19:14Speaker 3: that annoying?
- 19:15Speaker 4: You're getting up more than once?
- 19:16Speaker 1: I mean I have before because I eat a lot
- 19:18Speaker 1: of watermelon.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I love watermelon, so I gotta be careful
- 19:24Speaker 3: how much I eat before bed.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I'll be up all night, right, okay.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Number four watching TV while in bed. Oh yeah, this
- 19:32Speaker 3: is an annoying habit to a lot of people.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I haven't. I never turned my TV on, so I
- 19:37Speaker 1: don't know about that.
- 19:37Speaker 4: I watched sports.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Number three stealing the covers. Oh so that's the number
- 19:43Speaker 3: three and most annoying things people do in their sleep.
- 19:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Remember they said you each have a cover of blanket
- 19:47Speaker 4: and then you're fine.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. Does it happen if I ever get
- 19:50Speaker 1: into another relationship. I'm all in on that. Yeah, you
- 19:54Speaker 1: get your own blanky.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Yeah. Number two tossing and turning. People who toss in
- 20:00Speaker 3: turn a lot. You're like, what is what is going on?
- 20:03Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 20:03Speaker 1: You get kicked, you know, figure it out, go to sleep.
- 20:06Speaker 1: The number one you know what.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Number one is.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Number one by far. Thank God, I'm not in a
- 20:12Speaker 1: relationship with Poo. That's all I gotta say. Slightly per
- 20:16Speaker 1: What did you say, per? Yeah, like a bear, like
- 20:22Speaker 1: a When we used to have to share hotel rooms
- 20:24Speaker 1: a lot, I would have to put in my earbuds because.
- 20:27Speaker 3: And I would hear it through the earbuds. Yeah, I mean,
- 20:30Speaker 3: I'm not Candas, I'm not kidding. Have you ever slept
- 20:32Speaker 3: in the same room as Pooh?
- 20:33Speaker 4: I have not?
- 20:33Speaker 1: No, really, it's not really how not we gotta make
- 20:40Speaker 1: that happen.
- 20:41Speaker 3: We don't put misfortune. That is the next punishment on
- 20:46Speaker 3: the misfortune. It's one O two point nine. Good morning,
- 20:49Speaker 3: biling the Kid.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Candace Lopez is your producer. Poo is here.
- 20:53Speaker 3: This story is just wild to me. These things I
- 20:56Speaker 3: end up clicking on on Instagram. I just think it's
- 20:58Speaker 3: sucked in and it's like we.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Weird celebrity connections.
- 21:01Speaker 3: And I'm like, I probably know all these and I
- 21:02Speaker 3: did not know all these really strange. Okay, some of
- 21:06Speaker 3: them I did know, but it's just you know how
- 21:07Speaker 3: they say the world is so small. It's such a
- 21:09Speaker 3: big place, but it's so small. Yeah, Like I knew
- 21:11Speaker 3: about this one. Let me go over some of these.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Did you knew that Cameron Diaz and Snoop Dogg went
- 21:15Speaker 3: to high school together?
- 21:17Speaker 4: I did know that.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Okay, that's the only one of these that I knew. Okay,
- 21:20Speaker 3: which is kind of weird to think about, because I
- 21:22Speaker 3: don't know why. I feel like Snoop is so much
- 21:24Speaker 3: older than Cameron, right, but I guess not.
- 21:27Speaker 1: So she's older?
- 21:29Speaker 7: She is?
- 21:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, I don't know how old.
- 21:32Speaker 1: But it's hard to tell how old people are in Hollywood.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Oh, it's so hard. She's fifty three, she is?
- 21:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Why does it not seem like she's fifty three to me?
- 21:40Speaker 4: Right?
- 21:40Speaker 5: No?
- 21:41Speaker 4: Because she ages? Well, we're Snoop fifty four?
- 21:43Speaker 3: Okay, Well I figured that. Okay, what about this one?
- 21:46Speaker 3: And I had no idea about this? Maya Rudolph, who
- 21:48Speaker 3: I know?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Canness?
- 21:49Speaker 4: I love her?
- 21:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Her and Gwyneth Paltrow have been friends since they were seven?
- 21:54Speaker 3: What isn't that a weird celebrity connection?
- 21:57Speaker 4: How?
- 21:58Speaker 3: I have no idea their their dads were best friends
- 22:01Speaker 3: in college, and they grew up together basically being best
- 22:06Speaker 3: friends because their dads were best friends.
- 22:08Speaker 1: No kidding, weird?
- 22:09Speaker 4: I don't get starstruck a lot. But she lived pretty
- 22:12Speaker 4: close to me when I lived in California, and so
- 22:14Speaker 4: I would see her at the breakfast place down the
- 22:16Speaker 4: street from my house. And yeah, she's one that I
- 22:18Speaker 4: just get so starstruck.
- 22:19Speaker 3: No, I like her too. It's funny. I didn't know
- 22:22Speaker 3: this either. Steve Carrell and Stephen Colbert were roommates. What
- 22:28Speaker 3: they were for years? Huh, it's just so bizarre. You
- 22:32Speaker 3: don't think about these things, You're like. I guess they
- 22:34Speaker 3: were both coming up as comedians and.
- 22:36Speaker 4: They lived together, okay, like in Hollywood.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Or no, in Chicago. I guess.
- 22:39Speaker 3: I don't know if they were doing like Second City
- 22:41Speaker 3: or whatever. Okay, but they were together in like a
- 22:43Speaker 3: comedy troupe and lived together.
- 22:45Speaker 1: That one was kind of weird.
- 22:46Speaker 3: I did not know this either. Sabrina Carpenter, Okay, who
- 22:49Speaker 3: we know? Yeah, guess who her aunt is?
- 22:52Speaker 4: Oh I've heard of this, Oh who is?
- 22:55Speaker 3: It's the most random fact ever. Sabrina Carpenter's aunt is
- 22:59Speaker 3: Nancy Cartwright, who is the voice of Bart Simpson.
- 23:05Speaker 4: That's right?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Is that not weird?
- 23:08Speaker 4: So weird?
- 23:09Speaker 5: Weird?
- 23:11Speaker 3: Let me give you another one. Now, this is kind
- 23:13Speaker 3: of wild to think about jay Z and Buster Rhymes. Okay,
- 23:17Speaker 3: they went to the same high school together. They had
- 23:19Speaker 3: a rap battle in their high school cafeteria and jay
- 23:23Speaker 3: Z won. Also the same high school DMX went to and.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Biggie went to.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Wow, So jay Z, Buster Rhymes, DMX, and Biggie all
- 23:33Speaker 3: went to high school together.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Kidding what that that's weird?
- 23:37Speaker 1: Wow, this is the one that I did not expect.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Scarlett Johansson, who I love, IB crush on her, you
- 23:44Speaker 3: know who she went to prom with and she dated
- 23:46Speaker 3: in high school.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Never would have picked this one out. Jack Antonoff?
- 23:51Speaker 3: What the songwriter that wrote Taylor Yes, most of Taylor
- 23:55Speaker 3: Swift's songs.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Huh.
- 23:56Speaker 3: They went to high school together, went to prom together,
- 23:59Speaker 3: dated each other for years, ended up breaking up because
- 24:03Speaker 3: she was blowing up and he wasn't. And he wrote
- 24:07Speaker 3: like a ton of songs, A ton of songs are
- 24:09Speaker 3: based off of you know.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Her that she he wrote for other people. That makes sense?
- 24:15Speaker 3: I mean you thought you had fun fact scannas, I
- 24:20Speaker 3: got some random celeb connections. This is a this is
- 24:25Speaker 3: this one is wild. Martin Luther King Junior paid for
- 24:31Speaker 3: Julia Robert's birth What wait, what you know the actress
- 24:35Speaker 3: Julia Roberts. She was born, her family could not afford
- 24:40Speaker 3: the hospital bill, and Martin Luther King Junior paid for
- 24:44Speaker 3: it because Roberts, I guess Julia's parents ran a theater
- 24:48Speaker 3: school that let the King's children and at the time
- 24:51Speaker 3: when a lot of people, yeah, black people weren't being
- 24:56Speaker 3: allowed to go to this theater and participate in her
- 25:00Speaker 3: right awful, her parents let the kids in and wow,
- 25:04Speaker 3: set a big precedent. And in return he paid for
- 25:07Speaker 3: the hospital bill that they couldn't afford.
- 25:10Speaker 4: That's amazing.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Wow. Not Julia Roberts.
- 25:15Speaker 4: Fake news, fake news.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Mind, there you go, some facts that you have no
- 25:22Speaker 3: reason to know. You will never be able to do
- 25:24Speaker 3: anything with it.
- 25:25Speaker 4: That I know it now.
- 25:29Speaker 7: Tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in the.
- 25:32Speaker 6: Morning only on the New So many chances to win
- 25:36Speaker 6: this trip to Disneyland on US Summer Ween another shot
- 25:40Speaker 6: coming up next?
- 25:40Speaker 1: Canis Lopez? What is going on? Well?
- 25:42Speaker 4: Bodycam footage of Tony Romo's arrest last week was just released.
- 25:46Speaker 4: He was arrested Friday in Wisconsin for operating a vehicle
- 25:50Speaker 4: while under the influence. Police say he told them he
- 25:53Speaker 4: was headed to see his grandparents when this happened. That
- 25:56Speaker 4: he had just left a golf tournament. Video showed him
- 25:59Speaker 4: going through field sobriety tests and refusing to take a breathalyzer.
- 26:03Speaker 4: He reportedly told police he had zero drinks and even
- 26:08Speaker 4: asked if he could stretch before the test.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Well, oh, Tony, I mean he made a mistake.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no doubt, but you can't say I had
- 26:19Speaker 3: zero to drink.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah, come home, bro, zero.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Yeah, you look blitzed for sure.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean he looked hamsterd if you ask me.
- 26:28Speaker 4: He's doing court on September twenty. First, you know he
- 26:31Speaker 4: works for CBS. He you know, is an analyst on
- 26:34Speaker 4: some of their broadcasts. So they say they don't plan
- 26:36Speaker 4: to fire him at this point, but he could take
- 26:39Speaker 4: a step back for a little while. I know he's
- 26:41Speaker 4: also scheduled to play in a golf tournament here that
- 26:44Speaker 4: he backed out of. But yeah, not a good look
- 26:47Speaker 4: for Tony.
- 26:47Speaker 3: No, I mean, do you expect somebody, let me ask
- 26:49Speaker 3: you that, do you expect somebody in the spotlight to
- 26:51Speaker 3: get terminated from their job when something like this happens?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Because it is serious a joke about it. When you've had.
- 26:58Speaker 3: You know, I don't know if he's guilty or not.
- 27:00Speaker 4: I should say that, Yeah, we should wait until we know.
- 27:02Speaker 4: But I think maybe once they do know and the
- 27:04Speaker 4: hearing happens, then they'll be able to make a decision.
- 27:07Speaker 4: But yeah, so if it comes back that that was
- 27:09Speaker 4: the case, yeah, he shouldn't, you know, be able to
- 27:11Speaker 4: keep that job. It's like you look at people like
- 27:13Speaker 4: justin Timberlake. Well he is not hired by a broadcast
- 27:16Speaker 4: network like that. He's just doing what he does and
- 27:19Speaker 4: people support it or not.
- 27:20Speaker 1: People do make mistakes, yeah they do.
- 27:23Speaker 4: He got lucky like some of the others.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I don't know, if you nothing injured, terminated, Yeah, that's
- 27:28Speaker 1: a lot.
- 27:29Speaker 4: Yeah, you could at least suspend and say we're putting
- 27:31Speaker 4: you through a program or outreach or you got to
- 27:33Speaker 4: like be a voice for you know this not happening
- 27:35Speaker 4: or right, you know, turn it around somehow.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Hopefully he does something with this and makes makes it
- 27:40Speaker 3: good and shows people that hey, there's nothing to mess
- 27:42Speaker 3: around with.
- 27:42Speaker 1: We'll see what happens.
- 27:43Speaker 4: Yeah, we will, guys. Apple just launched a new device
- 27:46Speaker 4: a leasing program with Klarna, so you can now lease iPhones,
- 27:50Speaker 4: Apple watches, Max and iPads with an option to buy
- 27:54Speaker 4: them at the end of the lease. So for iPhone
- 27:57Speaker 4: and Apple Watch, you can pick a twelve or twenty
- 27:59Speaker 4: four months the lease, with phones starting at seventeen ninety
- 28:02Speaker 4: nine per month. Apple Watch leases started eleven ninety nine
- 28:05Speaker 4: per month. And this is where we're at, guys.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Is where we're at. This is what we're gonna be
- 28:10Speaker 1: doing with groceries soon. It's would you like to make
- 28:14Speaker 1: payments on this?
- 28:15Speaker 7: Sure?
- 28:16Speaker 3: I'm like, no, how about now I'm gonna be upside
- 28:18Speaker 3: down on my iPhone maybe.
- 28:21Speaker 4: So, I mean the computers and iPads have twenty four
- 28:23Speaker 4: to thirty six month lease options. So it's just the
- 28:27Speaker 4: way life is going.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Fortunately, sorry, you have too many miles on your iPhone.
- 28:32Speaker 3: You can't honor this. You're upside down and it's getting repolled.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Imagine if someone comes to repo your iPhone?
- 28:37Speaker 4: Yeah, how does that work?
- 28:38Speaker 1: Just cuts your service on extended warranty. Just come.
- 28:41Speaker 3: I don't know if this is true or not, but
- 28:42Speaker 3: I heard that I shouldn't say the name of the
- 28:45Speaker 3: car maker because I don't want to get sued, Okay,
- 28:47Speaker 3: but I heard there's a car maker out there right now.
- 28:49Speaker 3: That if you're behind on the payments with their financial company.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Yeah, they just shut your car off.
- 28:55Speaker 4: I heard that too. I don't remember what car company
- 28:58Speaker 4: it was, though, to be honest.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I do. I don't want to say because I don't
- 29:01Speaker 1: know if it's true and I don't want.
- 29:02Speaker 4: To get to so you're just driving and then they're like, yeah.
- 29:04Speaker 3: And somebody said it happened to them. They were literally
- 29:06Speaker 3: on the expressway and it just stalled them out.
- 29:09Speaker 8: Well, there's a company who's already there in bankruptcy, and
- 29:12Speaker 8: I'll say their name, treat Killer Autos, trick killer Autos.
- 29:16Speaker 8: They were over here off highway. That's about a car maker.
- 29:21Speaker 8: Oh okay, but this is a pay as you go
- 29:22Speaker 8: company and they would shut you up few behind.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Shut your car off. How do they have control that?
- 29:28Speaker 6: No idea.
- 29:29Speaker 8: You wouldn't be able to drive it if you didn't
- 29:31Speaker 8: make the car pay.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I think you're out of gas a little, did you know?
- 29:38Speaker 1: And they would come pick your car up quick. That's
- 29:40Speaker 1: what this company is doing. They're saying.
- 29:42Speaker 3: I don't know if it's true or not, So I
- 29:43Speaker 3: don't want to say the name. But gets a big
- 29:45Speaker 3: one of the Big three.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Oh okay, got it, Okay, I still don't remember, guys
- 29:50Speaker 4: real quick. A professor at Alcorn State University is going
- 29:53Speaker 4: viral for how he tried to catch students in his
- 29:56Speaker 4: history class using AI. So he hid the word mat
- 30:00Speaker 4: a gascar and white font on the assignment prompt so
- 30:03Speaker 4: students wouldn't see it when they were reading it, but
- 30:05Speaker 4: if you copy and paste it into like an AI
- 30:08Speaker 4: chat bot, it would be there. So thirty two of
- 30:11Speaker 4: thirty five students failed part of the exam because they
- 30:16Speaker 4: not only used AI, but didn't even proof read before
- 30:19Speaker 4: turning it in. So they didn't delete the mention of
- 30:21Speaker 4: Madagascar that had nothing to do with the assignment at all.
- 30:24Speaker 1: That is hysterical.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Yeah, so there were sentences like Madagascar floats sideways.
- 30:30Speaker 3: To the afternoon, Like so this is in white invisible ink,
- 30:35Speaker 3: So yeah, you're right, you won't see it, but if
- 30:36Speaker 3: you copy and.
- 30:37Speaker 4: Paste, they after recognizes it, picks it up and recognize it.
- 30:40Speaker 3: And then you don't even provemagic paying for college and
- 30:43Speaker 3: you're just AI and everything.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Right, we're in a bad place if where you know,
- 30:47Speaker 4: people are getting degrees and stuff that they didn't earn, like.
- 30:49Speaker 1: My son is and I know people have cheated forever.
- 30:51Speaker 3: But like, my son was talking to me about college
- 30:53Speaker 3: the other day and I'm like, if you want to
- 30:54Speaker 3: go to college, cool, but like you have to go
- 30:56Speaker 3: and you want to learn, and let's we're not just
- 30:57Speaker 3: going to go through college, right and be like, well,
- 31:00Speaker 3: I'm just gonna chat GBT everything.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Oh what's the point?
- 31:03Speaker 4: Right?
- 31:04Speaker 5: You know?
- 31:04Speaker 1: It scary?
- 31:05Speaker 4: It is, it really is. But there you go. Don't
- 31:08Speaker 4: use AI okay for that? All right? I'm Canda Slowpez.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Those are your Texas hop stories on oh get it
- 31:15Speaker 4: off your chest, promised you'll feel better.
- 31:18Speaker 7: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Mixed one or two point nine and Bill a Kid
- 31:21Speaker 1: Canda Slow Pants producer.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Pooh, I did get a request in our DMS about
- 31:24Speaker 3: Dirty Little Secret. Someone said you need to do this
- 31:27Speaker 3: again where you confess the secret about yourself.
- 31:30Speaker 7: Wonder.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Yeah, we did that a long time ago. And I
- 31:33Speaker 3: forget what we did, what.
- 31:35Speaker 4: We confess, But yeah, I forget too.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I just dreaded it. So I'm like, yeah, what I did?
- 31:40Speaker 1: What did you confess?
- 31:41Speaker 5: Poo?
- 31:41Speaker 9: I met up with my eggs remember, Oh that's right.
- 31:44Speaker 9: I didn't want went down to Austin, met up with
- 31:47Speaker 9: her no, she came here. Oh, oh yeah, you wouldn't
- 31:49Speaker 9: spend that gas. That was I think.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Okay, I do remember that, all right? Eight three three
- 31:56Speaker 3: seven eight seven one o two nine. A dirty little
- 31:58Speaker 3: secret is on. It doesn't matter what the confession is,
- 32:01Speaker 3: bring it on. I cannot remember Canvases for the life
- 32:03Speaker 3: of me.
- 32:03Speaker 4: What you remember? One was just that I like sample
- 32:06Speaker 4: nail polishes at the store and pay my nails in
- 32:08Speaker 4: the store.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Of course, Candases is like, so innocent, but she thinks
- 32:11Speaker 3: it's so crazy. No, she's like, she's the person that
- 32:14Speaker 3: you know, rips the tag off the mattress and is like,
- 32:16Speaker 3: I just did something so wild. Yeah, I did something crazy. Guys,
- 32:21Speaker 3: I can't remember mine either.
- 32:22Speaker 4: I don't remember. Yeah, we'll dig it up somehow, No, don't.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Someone does. We'll have to do that. Maybe we'll do
- 32:31Speaker 1: that next week.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Secrets about us, or maybe we do secrets that we
- 32:36Speaker 3: know about each other that.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Nobody else knows. Oh yeah, so I.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Get to say a secret about Pooh that nobody else knows,
- 32:42Speaker 3: but I don't tell him.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that first.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Or is that you should see his face? Let's not
- 32:49Speaker 3: play that game. I don't know if I want to
- 32:51Speaker 3: play that game with Pooh.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he's.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Probably got more on you than you got him.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Yeah, let's forget we said that. Okay, secret, if you
- 32:59Speaker 3: got one, let us know and you do. Wait is
- 33:02Speaker 3: time to confess.
- 33:02Speaker 1: What's up.
- 33:03Speaker 5: I do have a secret. I've been keeping it for
- 33:06Speaker 5: about three years, and honestly, only my mom knows about it.
- 33:10Speaker 5: I'm married to a wonderful man and between the two
- 33:13Speaker 5: of us we have four kids. I have two from
- 33:16Speaker 5: a previous marriage. He has two from his previous marriage.
- 33:20Speaker 5: And I know this is gonna sound terrible to say,
- 33:23Speaker 5: but his kids used to be a lot. I guess
- 33:26Speaker 5: you could say they were really difficult when they were younger,
- 33:30Speaker 5: constantly acting up, being disrespectful, and to be completely honest,
- 33:35Speaker 5: my side of the family just they never really bonded
- 33:37Speaker 5: with them because of it.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Here's a secret.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Whenever we have birthdays, Christmas, Easter, pretty much any holiday
- 33:44Speaker 5: where all the kids are together, everything looks completely fair,
- 33:48Speaker 5: everyone opens up, presence, they take pictures, they have a
- 33:51Speaker 5: great time. But then a day or two later, my
- 33:54Speaker 5: mom she'll invite me and my two kids over. She'll
- 33:57Speaker 5: hand him extra gifts, slip them some maybe buy them
- 34:01Speaker 5: something special and tell them not to mention it. And
- 34:04Speaker 5: so it's basically a second little celebration that my husband
- 34:09Speaker 5: and step kids know absolutely nothing about.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Oh and this has.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Been going on for about almost three years.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Okay, so you have Wow.
- 34:17Speaker 3: So your mom has almost like a second little holiday
- 34:21Speaker 3: for just your kids, cuts her step kids out and
- 34:25Speaker 3: even your husband out, and you kind of get extra
- 34:27Speaker 3: gifts and do your thing.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And your husband doesn't even know.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Wow.
- 34:31Speaker 5: Yeah, he has no idea. He thinks that everything is
- 34:34Speaker 5: split evenly before or between all the four kids. Okay,
- 34:38Speaker 5: so yeah, I've told my mom before that it makes me,
- 34:41Speaker 5: it makes me feel a little bit guilty, but she
- 34:43Speaker 5: always says the same thing. They're not her grandchildren, and
- 34:48Speaker 5: I'm polite to them, I buy them gifts, but I'm
- 34:51Speaker 5: always gonna spoil my grandkids more and however I want Wow.
- 34:55Speaker 5: And so I can understand like where she's coming from.
- 35:00Speaker 5: Step kids, they've gotten a lot better over the past
- 35:02Speaker 5: couple of years, and I do love them, and that's
- 35:04Speaker 5: why I feel guilty keeping this secret. But at the
- 35:07Speaker 5: same time, I can't exactly, you know, tell my mom
- 35:10Speaker 5: how to spend her money, who she's allowed to spoil
- 35:13Speaker 5: and so for the last three years, we've just basically
- 35:17Speaker 5: been keeping this little secret family celebration so that only
- 35:21Speaker 5: the three of us know about it.
- 35:22Speaker 1: That is curious, yea.
- 35:25Speaker 5: If I'm doing the wrong thing, or it's just one
- 35:29Speaker 5: of those awkward realities that happens in blended families. Either way,
- 35:33Speaker 5: nobody in my house knows besides me.
- 35:35Speaker 3: I have a feeling, I'll be honest with you, I
- 35:37Speaker 3: have a feeling this happens a lot.
- 35:39Speaker 4: Yeah, because if you weren't there and you don't want
- 35:42Speaker 4: to be a part of this, she'd still do it
- 35:43Speaker 4: with your kids and spoil them.
- 35:45Speaker 1: That's what I think happens. I think that probably happens,
- 35:47Speaker 1: and people just don't know about it. And I'm not
- 35:50Speaker 1: saying it should or shouldn't.
- 35:51Speaker 3: I mean, but you know, can you feel the same
- 35:55Speaker 3: and I'm not in a blended family, can you feel
- 35:57Speaker 3: the same about other people's kids?
- 35:59Speaker 1: If you're a grand parent, right, then you're not around
- 36:01Speaker 1: these kids that often. You know, you obviously have a
- 36:04Speaker 1: bond that's different with your biological grandchild.
- 36:07Speaker 4: You can't deny the bond is different, No, right.
- 36:10Speaker 3: You can't deny that, But can you give the illusion
- 36:13Speaker 3: you know that everything's fair and it's equal.
- 36:15Speaker 1: I mean, you should do that, but then do you
- 36:17Speaker 1: spoil them on the side.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Or does'n not like she's cutting them out completely and
- 36:20Speaker 4: not getting them presents or celebrating them.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I just don't like telling kids, hey, don't say anything
- 36:25Speaker 1: about this. Yeah, that's a lot of pressure on a kid, well.
- 36:28Speaker 3: And it sets the tone that if somebody else says, hey, don't,
- 36:31Speaker 3: especially at a young age, don't say anything about this,
- 36:34Speaker 3: that they shouldn't when maybe it's something they should absolutely
- 36:37Speaker 3: say something about, right.
- 36:39Speaker 1: But I don't know.
- 36:40Speaker 4: But I mean, I'm not in a blended family either,
- 36:42Speaker 4: but I know people who are, and I've talked to them,
- 36:46Speaker 4: and I know that they definitely have a different bond
- 36:48Speaker 4: and they treat them differently. They're not, you know, treating
- 36:51Speaker 4: one side unfairly or poorly, They just treating one side better.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Yeah, And I know, but I also know families who
- 36:58Speaker 1: have step children or step and children who treat them.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Just as good, love them just as much. I'm not
- 37:04Speaker 3: saying that your mom doesn't care for the step kids. Yeah,
- 37:06Speaker 3: but I mean sometimes that bond also grows over time,
- 37:09Speaker 3: so maybe that'll change. And either way, it's something interesting.
- 37:14Speaker 3: I'm gonna ask other people if they deal with this
- 37:16Speaker 3: and what grandma's and moms do in a situation, because
- 37:19Speaker 3: I could totally see my mom doing this.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Yeah, Rider, get over here. Here's an extra hundred.
- 37:27Speaker 4: I think it's different too when they're depending on their age,
- 37:30Speaker 4: you know what I mean. Yeah, like if you suddenly
- 37:32Speaker 4: had a tween or teen in your life, I mean,
- 37:35Speaker 4: it wouldn't compare to Rider. It's about to be sixteen. Yeah,
- 37:38Speaker 4: it's a little bit different there for his birth and
- 37:41Speaker 4: all of.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Course that bond's going to be different. Well, thank you
- 37:43Speaker 3: for your secret. I'm gonna ask everybody what they think.
- 37:46Speaker 3: And I appreciate you opening up to us.
- 37:48Speaker 5: Thank you so much. I appreciate it as well.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Yeah, does this happen eight three three seven eight seven
- 37:52Speaker 3: one two nine. Do stepkids get treated differently?
- 37:55Speaker 5: Well?
- 37:55Speaker 1: That sounds so sad. Yeah.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Oh they get half the presence, secret holidays and parties
- 38:02Speaker 3: without them.
- 38:03Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a lot.
- 38:04Speaker 3: If I'm a husband and I find out about this,
- 38:06Speaker 3: I'm not gonna be happy. No, I just don't like
- 38:08Speaker 3: you keeping stuff from me.
- 38:09Speaker 1: It's weird. I got a chance to to Disneyland and
- 38:12Speaker 1: coming up we'll do that.
- 38:13Speaker 3: I mean on the tenth pretty much every hour all day,
- 38:15Speaker 3: I'm mixed one or two point nine. Before we do
- 38:17Speaker 3: Candas Court, it's Billy the kid. Candas is here, so
- 38:19Speaker 3: is producer. Pooh, we did Dirty Little Secret where I mean,
- 38:21Speaker 3: it's kind of sad the step kids. She admits, the
- 38:24Speaker 3: step kids don't get the same amount of stuff for
- 38:27Speaker 3: birthdays and holidays as her biological kids. Right, Grandma brings
- 38:32Speaker 3: them over and gives them more money and stuff on
- 38:34Speaker 3: the sidnes It's like, hey, don't say anything, Chelsea.
- 38:37Speaker 1: You were this kid that didn't get gifts.
- 38:38Speaker 4: Oh no, pretty much.
- 38:41Speaker 11: But I was a biological one.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Wait, oh no, how does that work?
- 38:46Speaker 11: So it would be like split up between my family
- 38:49Speaker 11: would give one child more gifts and we were all
- 38:53Speaker 11: like biologically the same, and I would get less. And
- 38:56Speaker 11: then whenever I'd asked my cousin or my.
- 38:58Speaker 5: Brother, hey, where did you get this?
- 39:00Speaker 11: Like, oh, we're not allowed to tell you, Chelsea why
- 39:08Speaker 11: I got married. And I do have a blended family.
- 39:10Speaker 11: I do make sure that everyone treats her the same.
- 39:13Speaker 11: And if my family tries to help get my kids
- 39:16Speaker 11: more things, I'm like, no, we're not going.
- 39:18Speaker 3: To do this okay, good. Now why did they treat
- 39:21Speaker 3: you like that? What were you a bad kid or something?
- 39:23Speaker 4: I was quiet.
- 39:24Speaker 11: It's one of those things that like if you are
- 39:25Speaker 11: the quiet one, you get less. Yeah, you get attention.
- 39:29Speaker 1: And they were like, little Chelsea will be okay with
- 39:31Speaker 1: whatever she got. Yeah, we'll go to the dollar tree
- 39:34Speaker 1: and get her gift. Yeah, just give me.
- 39:36Speaker 5: It doesn't hurt.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Like, give Chelsea that little rock over there, she can
- 39:39Speaker 3: kick the rock around. Cousins got ps fives. Chelsea got
- 39:45Speaker 3: a cabbage beds doll from two.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Thousand and two. Hey, I like cabbage tash doll.
- 39:53Speaker 3: Treat them fairly, Thank you, little orphan Chelsea.
- 39:59Speaker 1: There we go.
- 40:00Speaker 7: All right, he's going for Candace Court. It gets settled
- 40:04Speaker 7: here with Billy the kid in the morning.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Alright, why do I picture Chelsea? They're going, I wash
- 40:10Speaker 3: me hands and face. I can I please get another
- 40:13Speaker 3: cup of porridge?
- 40:14Speaker 1: Oh, poor Chelsea.
- 40:15Speaker 4: It's not fair.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Okay, it's not it's mixed one or two point nine.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Candace Court is in session. If you got an issue
- 40:20Speaker 3: you want Judge Candas to solve or help you with
- 40:22Speaker 3: at Cannas on air, here we go, at what point
- 40:26Speaker 3: do multiple baby parties become just a repeated gift grab.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Oh this girl's mad about this.
- 40:31Speaker 3: I have a co worker's who's already announced a guess
- 40:35Speaker 3: Who's pregnant party?
- 40:37Speaker 1: That's a thing.
- 40:37Speaker 4: What I've never heard of that guess Who's pregnant party?
- 40:41Speaker 1: She announced a guess Who's pregnant party, a gender reveal party,
- 40:46Speaker 1: and three other get togethers to celebrate her first baby.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Whoa keep in mind that she's barely three months into
- 40:53Speaker 1: this thing and the baby shower still hasn't even happened.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It smells like someone who just wants to each free
- 41:00Speaker 1: stuff as many times as she can.
- 41:03Speaker 3: But maybe I'm just being negative. What's the limit on
- 41:06Speaker 3: this kind of stuff? Because there's only so much giving
- 41:09Speaker 3: I can do, or that I'm willing to do. This
- 41:12Speaker 3: baby fever is really getting old and I'm actually starting
- 41:15Speaker 3: to resent the kid for it.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I can see why.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Okay, this is a good this is a valid concern.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I do think people are throwing parties for everything.
- 41:26Speaker 4: Some down to celebrate. I love to celebrate, are you
- 41:29Speaker 4: I am? But like guess Who's pregnant party?
- 41:33Speaker 1: I've never heard of that. But I've never even been
- 41:34Speaker 1: to any of these kind of Yeah.
- 41:36Speaker 4: That's fine, as long as you're not expecting gifts. Like,
- 41:39Speaker 4: do you take gifts to a gender reveal party?
- 41:41Speaker 1: Wait? Do you really?
- 41:42Speaker 4: I don't know. I've never been to one. I don't
- 41:45Speaker 4: think so.
- 41:46Speaker 8: I went to one, you know, back in the day
- 41:48Speaker 8: baby Mama, and you did. Yeah, and hers. No, I
- 41:51Speaker 8: mean no, we didn't do a gender reveal.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I'm just asking. It's so offended, but no, we didn't
- 41:59Speaker 1: bring anything, showed up. I've never been to one ever.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I refuse.
- 42:04Speaker 4: I'm okay with this if you're not inviting the same
- 42:06Speaker 4: people to everyone, like if you have family that want
- 42:09Speaker 4: to come to the gender reveal, if you have like
- 42:11Speaker 4: your girlfriends who want to I'm guess who's pregnant whatever,
- 42:14Speaker 4: and then everybody to the baby shower or whatever.
- 42:16Speaker 1: That's what.
- 42:16Speaker 4: I don't think you give gifts at anything but the
- 42:19Speaker 4: official shower.
- 42:20Speaker 1: There's no way. Listen, barely three months.
- 42:22Speaker 3: I wouldn't know what if you do. I've never been
- 42:24Speaker 3: to a gender reveal. Are you supposed to bring a gift?
- 42:26Speaker 1: Let me know? Eight three three seven eight seven one
- 42:28Speaker 1: on two nine. That's ridiculous.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Why do I guess?
- 42:30Speaker 3: Why do I even need to go to a gender reveal.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Why do I care what sex your baby is?
- 42:33Speaker 4: Oh? I guess if it's important to you, then I'm
- 42:38Speaker 4: down to make it important to me too.
- 42:40Speaker 1: But but someone I don't really know? No, Yeah, what
- 42:43Speaker 1: do I care?
- 42:44Speaker 4: Worker? That's the way.
- 42:45Speaker 1: It's a boy? Thank god?
- 42:47Speaker 4: Yeah, no, seriously, thank god.
- 42:54Speaker 7: No.
- 42:54Speaker 4: But if you're going to this as a coworker, I
- 42:57Speaker 4: mean I feel like maybe she is throwing these hoping.
- 42:59Speaker 4: A few people just give gifts because they feel obligated,
- 43:02Speaker 4: or maybe they're just super nice people giving.
- 43:04Speaker 1: You one gift for everything.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Yeah, this covers the next year of parties you're gonna
- 43:08Speaker 3: throw for this little fetus.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Here's a gift card. Here's a gift card, stretch it. Yeah,
- 43:13Speaker 1: all three parties.
- 43:15Speaker 3: I got to like, I would just bring a gift
- 43:17Speaker 3: card I already had, you know, Like, here's a raising
- 43:20Speaker 3: King's gift card.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Hopefully this baby like chicken fingers.
- 43:24Speaker 4: Oh my god, I mean you're gonna have cravings. That's
- 43:26Speaker 4: that's worth right.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a fifty dollur gift card. But there's only
- 43:29Speaker 1: twenty bucks on it. Well make it work. Yeah, twenty
- 43:34Speaker 1: twenty six girl, all right, Okay, Katie do we know
- 43:39Speaker 1: have a verdict.
- 43:40Speaker 4: Yeah, we do. Look, you're guilty of being a registry. Rachel, Oh,
- 43:45Speaker 4: Gift Derella, Gift, Gorella Gift. We see through it. You're
- 43:51Speaker 4: hoping someone will bring you gifts.
- 43:53Speaker 3: I agree with you on this, Judge, you're a present pirate.
- 43:56Speaker 3: This is that she's a gift wrap Whitney exactly.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Yeah, no, oh, I like gift Rella. Yeah, she is
- 44:05Speaker 1: guilty of a registry.
- 44:06Speaker 7: Rachel Tess tough stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 44:12Speaker 7: Kid in the.
- 44:12Speaker 6: Morning only on the New Mix one two point nine.
- 44:15Speaker 1: We were doing Summer Ween.
- 44:16Speaker 3: We kicked it off this week, so we got chances
- 44:18Speaker 3: for you to go to Disneyland during their Halloween Spectacular,
- 44:22Speaker 3: which is pretty incredible trip on us.
- 44:24Speaker 1: I'm talking Airfair, I'm talking Hotel. I mean it's amazing.
- 44:27Speaker 3: So if you want to go, a shot to win
- 44:28Speaker 3: and coming up next, I know I wish we could
- 44:30Speaker 3: go on the street, but chances all day, but a
- 44:33Speaker 3: chance next, Candice, what's going on?
- 44:34Speaker 5: Well?
- 44:34Speaker 4: Remember that school district in New York that announced their
- 44:37Speaker 4: humanoid robot teacher named Sally. Oh yeah, I think we
- 44:40Speaker 4: talked about this in Reeler Fake News at some point. Well,
- 44:44Speaker 4: they are pausing plans to put it in classrooms after
- 44:46Speaker 4: multiple concerns were raised from state education officials, teachers, and residents.
- 44:51Speaker 4: One of the big concerns was that the maker of
- 44:54Speaker 4: the robot has ties to a company that makes hyper
- 44:58Speaker 4: realistic dolls for a do use. Yeah. Ooh, so on
- 45:03Speaker 4: top of like data privacy concerns which are a huge
- 45:05Speaker 4: issue and other things that now there's this As if
- 45:08Speaker 4: this wasn't an awful idea to begin.
- 45:10Speaker 3: With, Yeah, I just don't love it because I mean,
- 45:12Speaker 3: first of all, we don't pay our teachers enough, right,
- 45:14Speaker 3: and then we're going to hire and buy this robot
- 45:17Speaker 3: that's you know, worth a ton of money.
- 45:19Speaker 4: Robot tutor that can't even move its legs years.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Spread that out to the teachers. Yeah, you know, you you.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Spend money on this, spread it out and give all
- 45:27Speaker 3: the teachers the money, or give it for supplies for
- 45:30Speaker 3: the classroom.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Yeah, one hundred percent. I hope that's not because they
- 45:33Speaker 4: have a lack of teachers in the district, you know,
- 45:35Speaker 4: which some districts are facing also because they're not treating
- 45:38Speaker 4: them right.
- 45:38Speaker 5: Well.
- 45:38Speaker 3: They were also saying this robot is going to do
- 45:41Speaker 3: basically just sit in the back of the classroom and
- 45:43Speaker 3: then correct the real teacher, right and help the kids.
- 45:46Speaker 3: But the kids can't have names, they can only have numbers.
- 45:49Speaker 3: So but that'll remember what you talked about with the child, right,
- 45:53Speaker 3: So it'd be like.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Hey, I'm number one fifty eight. What did we talk
- 45:56Speaker 1: about yesterday?
- 45:56Speaker 4: That's so odd?
- 45:57Speaker 1: Hi, one fifty eight we talked about Man, this.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Is an awful movie. I would turn off immediately.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like it. Just gives me a creepy,
- 46:04Speaker 1: weird feeling.
- 46:05Speaker 4: Yeah, hopefully that's all said and done with. But I'll
- 46:08Speaker 4: keep you posted, guys. The lineup for the world's largest
- 46:11Speaker 4: pickle party is out. This happens at Texas Live. Do
- 46:14Speaker 4: you remember me talking about this last year?
- 46:16Speaker 1: I kind of do.
- 46:18Speaker 4: It was the first year it was going on, so
- 46:19Speaker 4: we were so confused, is this a real thing? But
- 46:22Speaker 4: it sold out. They announced the lineup. There's gonna be music,
- 46:25Speaker 4: a pickle eating Championship, and pickle juice chug challenge. And
- 46:29Speaker 4: then this year's headliner is Snooky from Jersey Shore.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Snooky I don't.
- 46:34Speaker 4: Understand her connection to pickles. Love it. I missed something
- 46:38Speaker 4: on the show.
- 46:39Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe I haven't watched that show.
- 46:40Speaker 4: And no, I never really watched it to begin with.
- 46:43Speaker 1: I kind of got into it for a little while.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Yeah, but I'm Jim tan Laundry.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not proud of it, but I did I
- 46:49Speaker 1: think she wasn't a.
- 46:50Speaker 4: Pickles Okay, well she's been crowned America's Pickle Queen. She's
- 46:53Speaker 4: going to be doing a VIP meet and greet. She'll
- 46:55Speaker 4: be on the main stage during the day. But apparently
- 46:59Speaker 4: they have Pickle row which you could do like unlimited
- 47:01Speaker 4: tastings from Best Made and other top pickle brands. But
- 47:05Speaker 4: it's a whole thing happening in November.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I mean, I'm all about it. Yeah, I love I
- 47:09Speaker 1: do love pickles.
- 47:10Speaker 4: Well, they do have the Pickle Parade or whatever in
- 47:12Speaker 4: Mansfield they do every year.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't know about the pickle Yeah, I don't
- 47:15Speaker 1: know what it is, but.
- 47:18Speaker 3: You should go dropping fun facts again, how it is
- 47:23Speaker 3: she said that like she was the Grand Marshall.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Well, I remember we were looking for a coffee shop
- 47:28Speaker 4: one time, randomly we were in Mansfield and we found
- 47:30Speaker 4: one this like airplane, I don't know, they have airplanes
- 47:32Speaker 4: or something, and there were signs everywhere like streets are
- 47:34Speaker 4: going to be closed for the pickle parade.
- 47:37Speaker 1: It's the thing, all right, what's your favorite pickle?
- 47:39Speaker 4: Cannas, bread and butter all day. Oh, you had a
- 47:42Speaker 4: good answer for that, bread and butter pickle.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Okay, pooh favorite pickle?
- 47:46Speaker 8: Just a regular spear pickle, spears, dillill spears.
- 47:50Speaker 1: You have blastic oh brand, you're getting weird bubbies? Yeah, okay,
- 47:56Speaker 1: I like spicy pickles. Okay, spicy.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Oh, here we go, I do now it's Pooh's pickle,
- 48:05Speaker 3: my least favorite pickles. Show up, show up, all right, yeah,
- 48:11Speaker 3: bring us some man.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, all.
- 48:14Speaker 4: Right, let's talk about something else. Mccullay cochin reportedly met
- 48:18Speaker 4: with Disney to talk about a Home Alone sequel. Uh
- 48:21Speaker 4: And I remember he put this idea out there last
- 48:23Speaker 4: year they were doing the thirty fifth anniversary screenings around
- 48:27Speaker 4: the country, and it sounds like Disney is into this.
- 48:30Speaker 4: He says. His idea is that Kevin McAllister is basically, like,
- 48:34Speaker 4: you know, gone through a divorce or lost his wife.
- 48:36Speaker 4: He's raising a son by himself. That's how all these
- 48:38Speaker 4: movies start. And I hate it. Can't we just be
- 48:40Speaker 4: like not so dramatic, but uh yeah, he said he
- 48:43Speaker 4: would be working really hard, not paying enough attention to
- 48:46Speaker 4: his son, and then you know, he gets locked out
- 48:48Speaker 4: of the house and the kid won't let him in,
- 48:49Speaker 4: so he's the one, you know, setting up traps for
- 48:51Speaker 4: his dad, Kevin. So I think it could be fun.
- 48:55Speaker 1: I mean, it could be, but that's just such a classic.
- 48:57Speaker 3: I don't really like to mess with the classic movies
- 48:59Speaker 3: because you don't want to ruin it and tainted.
- 49:01Speaker 1: But they did a home alone two and two and
- 49:03Speaker 1: three three I don't even remember three.
- 49:05Speaker 4: Well, that's because it wasn't the same kid. It wasn't
- 49:08Speaker 4: McCaulay culkin playing it. Then, yeah, it was like another
- 49:11Speaker 4: kid that I don't know what the story like.
- 49:13Speaker 1: I don't have a TMU mccaullay.
- 49:15Speaker 4: Yeah, that's why I think this would work because it's
- 49:17Speaker 4: actually McCaulay culkin and he's the dad and they could
- 49:20Speaker 4: do it justice. But people are saying if he agrees
- 49:22Speaker 4: to do this for Disney, they'll agree to move forward
- 49:24Speaker 4: with a project he wants done. So fingers crossed because
- 49:27Speaker 4: that's my favorite movie, a.
- 49:29Speaker 3: Favorite movie, and it's not that far away from Christmas
- 49:31Speaker 3: when you think about it.
- 49:32Speaker 4: No, it's not. I'm excited, guys, which is.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Crazy pickles and Christmas let's go.
- 49:36Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, I'm canna slowpans. Those are your Texas
- 49:38Speaker 4: top story.
- 49:39Speaker 1: That's a hot take.
- 49:40Speaker 7: Let us know what you think.
- 49:41Speaker 6: Here's today's hot take.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Okay, Hot Take the Day. First of all, hopefully Ara
- 49:45Speaker 3: having a good morning. It's Bailey the Kid, Canda Slopez.
- 49:48Speaker 3: This is your producer who is here. I can already
- 49:49Speaker 3: see the looks on their faces. They get so mad when.
- 49:52Speaker 1: We fight behind the scenes.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Hold First of all, I didn't even say anything about it.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Cannas is already angry because he knows he knows better Tannas.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Yeah, oh really okay, so hold on. So this is
- 50:04Speaker 3: what we're talking about behind the scenes. And if there's
- 50:06Speaker 3: one thing we fight about more than anything behind the scenes,
- 50:09Speaker 3: it's the stupidest conversation ever.
- 50:11Speaker 1: But it's about the lottery.
- 50:12Speaker 4: Yeah, what would happen if one of us won the lottery?
- 50:15Speaker 1: It's about the power ball.
- 50:16Speaker 3: So when I saw this question, I'm like, oh, this
- 50:18Speaker 3: is a very good question because well, let me give
- 50:21Speaker 3: you the scenario right here. Hot Take the Day, if
- 50:23Speaker 3: you borrow money to buy a lottery ticket and then
- 50:27Speaker 3: you win the lottery.
- 50:29Speaker 1: How much should you pay that person back?
- 50:32Speaker 4: Easy? Half? You pay them half of what you.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Want, Okay, Cannis. Now, this is what triggered this response
- 50:38Speaker 3: from Cannis. When she called me she called me a name. Yeah,
- 50:42Speaker 3: she called me a name.
- 50:43Speaker 4: That's what you would.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Be if it was abusive. It was.
- 50:46Speaker 3: It was toxic. It hurt my feelings. But I'm gonna
- 50:53Speaker 3: survive and I will go.
- 50:54Speaker 4: To hr at ten on one.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Yes, it is actually is Okay. She called me that
- 51:03Speaker 3: because I said, technically, all I owe you is what
- 51:08Speaker 3: I borrowed.
- 51:08Speaker 4: Technically, that's right. But I'm glad you're rich and you
- 51:12Speaker 4: have no friends now because you're the You know what.
- 51:14Speaker 3: No, I wouldn't. I didn't say you didn't let me finish.
- 51:17Speaker 3: I didn't say I would do that. Okay, I'm just saying, technically,
- 51:20Speaker 3: if I borrow twenty bucks, all I owe you is
- 51:22Speaker 3: twenty bucks. It has no no hold on It has
- 51:26Speaker 3: nothing to do with what I what I did with
- 51:28Speaker 3: that money. You know, it has no You didn't know
- 51:32Speaker 3: why I was borrowing the money, and maybe if you did,
- 51:35Speaker 3: there was no it is what it is. I could
- 51:37Speaker 3: have taken that twenty bucks and I could have went
- 51:39Speaker 3: to Arby's. Okay, yeah, I could have went anywhere. But
- 51:42Speaker 3: I happened to buy a lot of ticket and the
- 51:43Speaker 3: lotto ticket hit for eighty million.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Oh god, right, that's the thing.
- 51:47Speaker 8: Would you be honest to tell us the money?
- 51:50Speaker 1: You would know?
- 51:52Speaker 8: No, But I was saying if you borrowed twenty dollars
- 51:54Speaker 8: and you went on about your business and then two
- 51:56Speaker 8: days later you were like, you know what, I still
- 51:59Speaker 8: got like four dollars.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Let me do these quick picks.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Oh would I be honest about Oh hey, I borrow
- 52:04Speaker 3: twenty bucks from you and part of the money.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Ticket with it, and you're about the ticket with that's
- 52:07Speaker 1: a good question. Would you just be like, oh no,
- 52:10Speaker 1: I just hit the lottle just by luck.
- 52:13Speaker 4: Yeah, you had to borrow money from me, but you
- 52:15Speaker 4: have money to play the lottery.
- 52:17Speaker 1: I would never borrow money to play the lottery. Yeah. Good,
- 52:20Speaker 1: But we're doing what if scenarios, and of course it's
- 52:23Speaker 1: your favorite scenario, so you say half Yeah, I don't
- 52:27Speaker 1: think genuinely if you want eighty million dollars off a
- 52:29Speaker 1: twenty dollars ticket that you borrow for me, I don't
- 52:31Speaker 1: think i'd see half hun. I'm happy with line music.
- 52:36Speaker 4: I mean, I absolutely content with million dollars.
- 52:39Speaker 1: You're not getting forty million because you're gonna pay taxes.
- 52:41Speaker 4: Well, I'm happy with the twenty million.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you did a good deed, Like you know what
- 52:45Speaker 1: I'm saying. We showed you love. We're good. First of all, Pool,
- 52:49Speaker 1: you don't have money to I could borrow anyway.
- 52:51Speaker 8: What I do, Like in Tom of need, I gotta yeah, yeah,
- 52:55Speaker 8: emergency break the closs.
- 52:57Speaker 3: Just Pool calls me stingy, and I don't appreciate it.
- 52:59Speaker 3: I'm not stingy at all. Anybody who knows me.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Knows i'm not.
- 53:02Speaker 4: But you on the lottery you say you would.
- 53:05Speaker 1: You would be. I'm not, And I know why. I
- 53:07Speaker 1: think I know why you are because like you're oh,
- 53:09Speaker 1: i'd love to hear this. Because we grew up with siblings.
- 53:13Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Me and Candice, you're only childs.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Tend to all my cousins that are only childs. They're
- 53:18Speaker 1: stingy and you you're kind of sharing.
- 53:22Speaker 3: This is not coming from a guy who I've given
- 53:24Speaker 3: more to than Literally, as we speak, I have a
- 53:28Speaker 3: bag of stuff that I'm like, you know what, I'm
- 53:30Speaker 3: gonna give all these new clothes that I have exactly.
- 53:32Speaker 8: No, you're good at giving stuff like how's that, Stingo.
- 53:36Speaker 4: But you also probably didn't want to take the time
- 53:37Speaker 4: to take them and donate them.
- 53:39Speaker 1: No, that's not true. That's not true.
- 53:45Speaker 8: No, you're good at giving me stuff. Like sometimes you'll
- 53:48Speaker 8: get stuff and you'll be like, man, I'm not going
- 53:50Speaker 8: to wear that.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Here you have it. I appreciate that.
- 53:52Speaker 8: But I know, I know, I know if you were
- 53:56Speaker 8: if you get the lotto, I would give you.
- 53:59Speaker 1: It's a different It's not no, no, because I already know.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I already told you i'd get you a car.
- 54:05Speaker 4: I don't want a car. Why now does want a car?
- 54:08Speaker 4: But he wants more?
- 54:09Speaker 1: Yeah, won't you hook me up? I said I would
- 54:12Speaker 1: give him more.
- 54:12Speaker 3: I said I would give him money and I would
- 54:14Speaker 3: buy him like a nice kis.
- 54:15Speaker 1: See he's gonna little boy me.
- 54:20Speaker 4: And is he gets a car vacation house.
- 54:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:24Speaker 8: The last time we had this argument, my little sister
- 54:27Speaker 8: happened to be listening, and she was like, Wow, so
- 54:31Speaker 8: Billy's gonna give me the money to ration out to you?
- 54:33Speaker 7: Yes, like that.
- 54:36Speaker 4: If I hit a lot of Moti.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Yes, you would be Britney Spears. Why would you do
- 54:43Speaker 1: me like that? Because you're not good with your money?
- 54:45Speaker 1: And either am I. So I'm saying, if I hit
- 54:48Speaker 1: the lottery, I would give you a million dollars. But
- 54:50Speaker 1: the Lord's blessing you, so I know, and I'm gonna
- 54:52Speaker 1: bless Morgan to bless you. I don't need a concern.
- 54:56Speaker 1: I'm her older brother. I don't know because if I
- 54:59Speaker 1: give you a million dollars, you're going to go do
- 55:01Speaker 1: something stupid with it.
- 55:02Speaker 4: You don't know to watch that happen.
- 55:04Speaker 1: You don't know that I do.
- 55:06Speaker 3: I've known you for almost thirty years. I've worked with
- 55:08Speaker 3: you sick and thin. I bless people. I bless people
- 55:13Speaker 3: when I have.
- 55:14Speaker 1: When is that.
- 55:17Speaker 5: So?
- 55:17Speaker 1: How much?
- 55:17Speaker 3: If I if I borrowed money, if you borrow money
- 55:20Speaker 3: for me twenty bucks and you hit the lottery for
- 55:23Speaker 3: eighty million dollars?
- 55:24Speaker 1: Yes, what are you giving me? After taxes? I ended
- 55:27Speaker 1: up with like thirty two or so we're gonna have
- 55:29Speaker 1: way more than that, Oh I will. I don't know
- 55:32Speaker 1: either way.
- 55:32Speaker 3: See the way, forget tax I'll break you off half
- 55:35Speaker 3: my boy, You're not breaking me?
- 55:37Speaker 1: Yes, I would I'd be like you said candas to Candist,
- 55:40Speaker 1: half was too much.
- 55:41Speaker 8: I thought about it, but no, I thought about it. No,
- 55:44Speaker 8: you're right, You're absolutely right. Why do I need all
- 55:46Speaker 8: that money?
- 55:47Speaker 1: I just hey, I'm honest.
- 55:49Speaker 4: If I didn't let barrow, I think about it.
- 55:52Speaker 1: But you don't need forty million. I'm not giving you
- 55:54Speaker 1: forty million.
- 55:55Speaker 4: Why why do you need forty million?
- 55:56Speaker 1: Because I won the lot of I'm the one who
- 55:58Speaker 1: is selling the money to buy. Yeah, but I will
- 56:00Speaker 1: who bought the ticket. That'll make No, it doesn't. I'm
- 56:04Speaker 1: giving you twenty million.
- 56:05Speaker 4: I see your point. The luck was with you, was
- 56:08Speaker 4: with me, not you. So I'm giving.
- 56:10Speaker 1: You twenty million out of eighty. Yes, I'm being at
- 56:15Speaker 1: least I'm being honest. That's so stingy, bro.
- 56:17Speaker 4: What I mean. I can see you given, you know,
- 56:20Speaker 4: taking sixty percent.
- 56:21Speaker 1: That is unreal. That's you are ungrateful. You call me stingy.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I call you on great.
- 56:26Speaker 8: I'll give you half though, because you know every time
- 56:29Speaker 8: you talk about it, you're getting dropped down a million.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Now you're only get if I ever borrow money from you. Yeah,
- 56:36Speaker 1: you know what.
- 56:37Speaker 3: At least I'm being honest because if he ever really
- 56:39Speaker 3: does hit the lottery, We're never gonna see him again.
- 56:42Speaker 1: No, you see me. There'll be signs.
- 56:44Speaker 8: Literally, I'm buying that billboard.
- 56:48Speaker 3: I know if he says fifty. But what's going to
- 56:53Speaker 3: happen is that man. What I didn't realize is I
- 56:56Speaker 3: actually got to pay more than I thought. So how
- 56:59Speaker 3: about I give you a million now and then I'll
- 57:02Speaker 3: give you another million next week when I get the
- 57:03Speaker 3: other chick. That's what Pooh's gonna do. But at least

- 57:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I just want a contest on Instagram. It's to
- 57:53Speaker 4: give away for five hundred dollars gift card to the
- 57:56Speaker 4: Esthetic Society. You know, we went recently and had a
- 57:59Speaker 4: whole day there, but yeah, it's on our Instagram. At

- 58:04Speaker 1: Okay, everybody was so nice there. I had the best time.

- 58:09Speaker 1: I know, I face some kind of face.
- 58:11Speaker 4: You have the glow to facial that's what I did. Yeah,
- 58:13Speaker 4: so you can use this gift card for that if
- 58:15Speaker 4: I was, I.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Felt like I was glowing after that, you were, I was, Yeah,
- 58:20Speaker 1: you still are.
- 58:21Speaker 4: I mean it's not like it just went away. Your
- 58:22Speaker 4: skin is great.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going back today. Who too, Poo and I
- 58:27Speaker 3: were glowing. Yeah, we had on robes. I've never felt
- 58:30Speaker 3: more pampered in my life.
- 58:31Speaker 4: I know, I'm as proud of you for actually letting
- 58:34Speaker 4: someone you know, touch your skin and they rub my feet.
- 58:39Speaker 4: I was so happy.
- 58:40Speaker 1: See they didn't rub our feet.
- 58:41Speaker 4: Well that's just Stacey. She just does that if you
- 58:43Speaker 4: want it because she likes to make people relax.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Okay, Well, I mean I was relaxed. But either way,
- 58:49Speaker 3: I love that place. So that was a lot of fun.
- 58:51Speaker 3: We were just talking about this and a lot of
- 58:52Speaker 3: people are chiming in. If you borrow money for a
- 58:55Speaker 3: lottery ticket and you win, how much does that person
- 58:59Speaker 3: deserved that you borrow the money from?
- 59:01Speaker 1: Right?
- 59:01Speaker 3: And of course we were arguing about in the studio
- 59:03Speaker 3: because I said, well, i'd give I wouldn't give half.
- 59:05Speaker 1: I'm just being honest. I wouldn't give you half.
- 59:06Speaker 3: I'd give a little bit lost, Like if I want
- 59:08Speaker 3: eighty million, I'd give pooh twenty million, Okay, And he's
- 59:11Speaker 3: not even thankful for.
- 59:12Speaker 1: That, which is wow. Kevin. And whether you got something
- 59:14Speaker 1: to say about this.
- 59:15Speaker 2: It's kind of interesting because here's one way to look
- 59:17Speaker 2: at it. Yeah, so say you go to the bank
- 59:19Speaker 2: and borrow million dollars to start a business, right, that
- 59:22Speaker 2: business turns into one hundred million dollar business. How much
- 59:25Speaker 2: money do you owe the bank?
- 59:26Speaker 1: Only the interest on the million exactly.
- 59:29Speaker 2: So I mean someone you borrow the money. It's your
- 59:31Speaker 2: luck and your stiels will want it. Not nothing to
- 59:33Speaker 2: do with him giving you the money, give right to
- 59:36Speaker 2: look at it that way, give him, give him a
- 59:38Speaker 2: little bit, yeah, hand I mean yeah, hand it out.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Second of all eighty million dollars, the first thing you
- 59:43Speaker 2: do is lose fifty five percent right off the bat.
- 59:45Speaker 1: To the irs. Yep.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Then whatever is left you pay taxes on that. Also,
- 59:50Speaker 2: so that eighty million just turns into what about thirty
- 59:52Speaker 2: two million? Then you're gonna pay taxes on thirty two million.
- 59:54Speaker 2: You probably gonna lose another half of that, so you're
- 59:56Speaker 2: only gonna end up with about fifteen million dollars guys, Yeah, okay,
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: which I know sounds certable.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Right, No, you're right, somes only now he's only getting
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: he's down to two million. This is why so many
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: live winners their lifes are ruined because they spend all
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: this money thinking they have it and they don't.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Yeah, they get eighty million dollars to go buy fifty
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: million dollar mansion.
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: Okay, but you still you still ended up with you
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: still ended up with what like roughly fifteen million. Yeah,
- 1:00:20Speaker 8: so you're so woo why wouldn't you give me like
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: seven seven?
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I'm not gonna give you. I'm not
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: gonna give you seven, but I'm gonna give your sister
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: two or three.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Thank you, Kevin Man.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: You'll appreciate it.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: I appreciate that man with all the single.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Moms like, hey, wait a minute, ye could be like, no,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: you're not You're not buying her another boot job exactly.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: That's what he's gonna do.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: He's gonna go to O host Locos and buy all
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: the girls bbls.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Yes, sir, yes sir, Thank you Kevin.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Hey, I love y'all.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Go thank hey, we love you more. Brother. See Kevin's right.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Kevin knows he's gonna go to oh Host Locos or Hooters.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: No, he's not somewhere.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: He's gonna be like, yeah, girl, what you need, Oh
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: you need a BBL on the bboks. No, I'm a
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: millionaire girl. Take one. He's gonna be like, Oprah, you
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: get a BBL.
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: Tough stories on the tents with Billy's a Kid in the.
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: Morning only on the new Mix one two point early.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: On Wednesday, Cannice, what's going on?
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: Well, bodycam footage of Tony Romo's arrest last week just
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: came out, so if you missed it. He was arrested
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: Friday in Wisconsin for operating a vehicle while under the influence.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: Police say he told them he was headed to see
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: his grandparents. Uh, he had just left a golf tournament.
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: Video shows him going through field sobriety tests and refusing
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: to take a breathalyzer. But he reportedly told police he
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: had zero drinks.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: That's a wild statement. If you see his eyes zero, right,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: it's probably a tough sell Tony.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: Yeah, at least a half. I mean he had a sip.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Maybe one sip or something. But he definitely looked like
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: he had been on the golf course all day.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: Looked like he looked tired, weird, been in the sun.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: Definitely looked tired in the sun.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, sun with a lot of drinks.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: What was funny though, was he asked if he could
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: stretch before he took the field sobriety test, which I
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: mean it was wonky.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Okay, Kennis, I get that. I honestly, when you get
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: over forty. You almost have to stretch before you do anything.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: I mean, that's true, that's true.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I get out of bed. I'm like, I should probably
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: stretch first.
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: No, you definitely should. Yeah, jump up and down. They
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: say it's a new thing to just shake everything. Oh really, yeah,
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: like get your limph going, my limph, your limph?
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Yeah, do I want to get that go?
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: Definitely? Yeah, it's stagnant. Yeah, you got it. Just shake it.
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: Shake everything when you wake up, all right, shake it
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: when you wake up.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: But hopefully Tony can learn from this lesson. We don't
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: know if he's guilty. I don't know.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: No, he's doing court September twenty first, So you know,
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: people are waiting to see what CBS does about that,
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: because you know, he's one of their broadcasters on their
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: sports on Sundays. So they say they don't plan to
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: fire him at this point, but he should probably take
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: a step back for a while. Well, I know he
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: was scheduled to play in a golf tournament here that
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: he's backed out of as well, So yeah, probably give
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: the lay low for a lot of second.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: Some of the comments on it, and I'm just like,
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: oh yeah, some of the comments are so.
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: Mean he was playing golf with Tiger Woods.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Somebody said he was playing golf with Tiger Woods. Yeah.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: I saw another comment that said rumors after this sobriety
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: test he threw an interception.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: Every headline was Tony Rombo fumbles guilty.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it was like, come on, give the guy a break.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: He's going through it. But it's no joke. You don't
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: want to mess around like that's awfully if he is guilty,
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: he learns from this and he figures some things out.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll keep you posted, guys. Apple just launched a
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: new device, a leasing program with Klarna. You can now
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: lease iPhones, Apple Watches, Max, and iPads with a option
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: to buy them at the end of the lease. You're
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: shaking your head, Well.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: You can Clarna everything.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: Yeah, Now they give you the option to, like, do
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: you want to make payments on this burrito you just bought?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I'm like, is that where we're at?
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: We are. I mean for iPhone an Apple Watch, you
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: can pick a twelve or twenty four month lease, with
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: phones starting at seventeen ninety nine a month, Apple Watch
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: leases starting at eleven ninety nine per month. But I
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: was thinking about this. I'm like some of the kids
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: who love to have all the new tech and devices.
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: Maybe this is good for them and they can just
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: be like, hey, I don't make a ton of money
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: at my part time job, but here I'll pay you know,
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: twelve bucks a month for that.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Well, then just how about not get an Apple Watch
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: or that I would do that.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: I mean, I know phones are different. Phones are kind
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: of like a necessity at this point life.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: Absolutely, we need it.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: You gotta make payments on a phone. I get it.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: But the last thing you want is leasing phones. Now,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: I feel like they're gonna be upside down. They're going
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: to repo your phone. Now I'm get my phone repodd.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: I guess it could happen, for sure, they just shut
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: it off and then what happened?
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: But they're so expensive, No, they are The phones are insane.
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: I think people are going to take advantage of this
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: for sure. Well, uh, listen to this. Guy is a
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: professor at Alcorn State University is going viral for how
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: he tried to catch students in his history class using AI.
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: So he hit the word of mattaga Ascar and white
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: font on the assignment prompt so students wouldn't see it
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: when they were reading it, but if you go and
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: copy and paste it into AI, it would show up. Right.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: So thirty two of thirty five students failed part of
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: their exam because they not only used AI, but didn't
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: even proofread before turning it in.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: So not only did they obviously not catch it, Yeah,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: then they don't even proofread what they sent in to
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: chat youbet or whatever.
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: Right, so they didn't even delete the mention of Madagascar
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: that had nothing to do with the assignment. So there
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: were like weird phrases in there, like Madagascar floats sideways
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: in the afternoon that made no sense in the context.
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: And he was you know, yeah, surprise. More people wouldn't
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: prof read what they turn in.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: It's brilliant on the professor's part.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: I just can't believe that thirty two out of thirty
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: five students were busted.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: Yeah, that's scary.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: But then again, I think like if.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: I was in school or college back in the day,
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: I wonder, I mean, it wasn't around, obviously, would I
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: used AI?
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: Right? Well, I mean, I'll be honest, I use cliffs
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: notes here and there, So you did. It's kind of
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: like a cheat code.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't even make it through college.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: So well that's okayoo did everybody?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Would you have used AI if they had it back
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: in the twenties, Oh yes, I was quick to use them.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Cliff Notes me too.
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: I want to copy and paste though out of AI.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I wouldn't.
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: I'd make it my own. But yeah, I use I
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: use them cliff notes for real.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, same, okay, all right, glad we told the
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: public that I can't a slow pests. Those are your
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: Texas top story.
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: A little Secret, it makes one o two point nine,
- 1:06:33Speaker 11: A bill at a kid candy, slow pants producer, poo
- 1:06:36Speaker 11: let's steal right now.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: Dirty little Secret, if you've got one, you call us
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: anytime you want, call us at eight three three seven
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: eight seven one o two nine, or you can always
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: reach out at Billy on the radio on Instagram.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: You can always do it there too, DM me.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: We could set up your dirty Little Secret even if
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: we're not doing Dirty Little Secret at the time. And
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: you're like, well, now I can call it, Well that's fine.
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: Just call us whenever you can and just confess. And
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: you got one.
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: I do have a secret. I've been keeping it for
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: about three years and honestly, my mom knows about it.
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: I'm married to a wonderful man, and between the two
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: of us, we have four kids. I have two from
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: a previous marriage. He has two from his previous marriage.
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: And I know this is gonna sound terrible to say,
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: but his kids used to be a lot. I guess
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: you could say they were really difficult when they were younger,
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: constantly acting up, being disrespectful, and to be completely honest,
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: my side of the family just never really bonded with
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: them because of it. Here's the secret. Whenever we have birthdays, Christmas, Easter,
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: pretty much any holiday where all the kids are together,
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: everything looks completely fair, everyone opens up, presence, they take pictures,
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: they have a great time. But then a day or
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: two later, my mom she'll invite me and my two
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: kids over. She'll hand them extra gifts, slip them some cash,
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: maybe buy them something special, and tell them not to
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: mention it. And so it's basically a second little celebration
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: that my husband and step kids know absolutely nothing about.
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: Oh and this has been going on for about almost
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: three years.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: Okay, so you have Wow, So your mom has almost
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: like a second little holiday for just your kids cuts
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: step kids out and even your husband out and you
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: kind of get extra gifts and do your thing and
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: your husband doesn't even know.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: Yeah, he has no idea. He thinks that everything is
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: split evenly before or between all the four kids. Okay,
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: so yeah, I've told my mom before that it makes me,
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: it makes you feel a little bit guilty, but she
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: always says the same thing. They're not her grandchildren, and
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: I'm polite to them, I buy them gifts, but I'm
- 1:08:42Speaker 5: always gonna spoil my grandkids more and however I want. Wow,
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: And so I can understand like where she's coming from.
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: My step kids, they've gotten a lot better over the
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: past couple of years, and I do love them, and
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: that's why I feel guilty keeping this secret. But at
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: the same time, I can't exactly, you know, tell my
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: mom how to spend her money, who she's allowed to spoil.
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: And so for the last three years, we've just basically
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: been keeping this little secret family celebration so that only
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: the three of us know about it.
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: That is curious.
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: Yeah, if I'm doing the wrong thing, or it's just
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: one of those awkward realities that happens in blended families.
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: Either way, nobody in my house knows besides me.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: I have a feeling, I'll be honest with you, I
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: have a feeling this happens a lot.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: Yeah, because if you weren't there and you don't want
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: to be a part of this, she'd still do it
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: with your kids and spoil them.
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: That's what I think happens. I think that probably happens,
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: and people just don't know about it. And I'm not
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: saying it should or shouldn't. I mean, but you know,
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: can you feel the same and I'm not in a
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: blended family, can you feel the same about other people's kids?
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: If you're a grandparent, right, then you're not around these
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: kids that often.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: You know, you obviously have a bond that's different with
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: your biological grandchild.
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: You can't deny the bond is different.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: No, right, you can't deny that.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: But can you give the illusion you know that everything's
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: fair and it's equal.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I mean you should do that, but then do you
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: spoil them on the side or design not?
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: Like she's cutting them out completely and not getting them
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: presents or celebrating them.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: I just don't like telling kids, hey, don't say anything
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: about this. Yeah, that's a lot of pressure on a
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: kid well, and.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: It sets the tone that if somebody else says, hey,
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: don't especially at a young age, don't say anything about
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: this that they should and when maybe it's something they
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: should absolutely say something about, right.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: But I don't know.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: But I mean, I'm not in a blended family either,
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: but I know people who are, and I've talked to them,
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: and I know that they definitely have a different bond
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: and they treat them differently. They're not, you know, treating
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: one side unfairly or poorly, They're just treating one side better.
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: Yeah, And I know, but I also know families who
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: have stepchildren or step grandchildren who treat them just as good,
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: love them just as much. I'm not saying that your
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: mom doesn't care for the step kids. Yeah, but I
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: mean sometimes that bond also grows over time, so maybe
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: that'll change. And either way, it's something interesting. I'm gonna
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: ask other people if they deal with this and what
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: grandma's and moms do in a situation, because I could
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: totally see my mom doing this.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Yeah, rider, get over here, here's an extra hundred.
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: I think it's different too when they're depending on their age,
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: you know what I mean, Like if you suddenly had
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: a tween or teen in your life. I mean, it
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: wouldn't compare to Rider. It's about to be sixteen. Ye,
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: it's a little bit different there for his birth, and of.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: Course that bond's going to be different. Well, thank you
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: for your secret. I'm gonna ask everybody what they think.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: And I appreciate you opening up to us.
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: Thank you so much. I appreciate it as well.
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: Yeah, so many dms saying, oh yeah, this happens a lot.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: Oh this happens with my family, or I was the
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: kid that got left down. Then my stepbrother would tell
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: me what they got. Anyway, that's the worst. Come on,
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: don't do that to the kids.
