Latest / That Car Show / Northwest Exotics' Tom Fathi and Will Melfi
Transcript
- 0:00And I look to my right and the first people I see are Gordon
- 0:03Murray talking to Gordon Ramsay. I was like, OK, that's how this
- 0:08evening is. Today on that car show, we
- 0:11welcome our friends Tom Fathy and Will Melfi of Northwest
- 0:15Exotics. You know, the show, NW Exotics
- 0:18has become one of the top events of its kind in the country.
- 0:21And it was all started by a 15 year old.
- 0:24Tom's a few years older now and he's learned a lot in that short
- 0:26time. And truthfully, there's a lot to
- 0:28learn from this conversation, from Fiddler Cars and letting
- 0:31people down gently, to learning to love conflict and asking for
- 0:35what you want. This is a really insightful
- 0:37conversation and a real template to running a successful
- 0:40automotive enthusiast event. Also, that Gordon and that one
- 0:45too. It's Tom Fathy and Will Melfi
- 0:48from Northwest Exotics, and it's that car show.
- 0:52Tonight we are joined by some of our car friends from the Pacific
- 0:55Northwest for a change, Tom Fathy of Northwest Exotics and
- 1:00Will Melfi of 1 Drivers Club. Hi guys, Thanks so much for
- 1:04being here. Thanks for having us.
- 1:06Excited to be, very excited to be here.
- 1:09So Tom started NW Exotics when he was just 15, and it's now in
- 1:14its sixth year. It takes place on the shores of
- 1:17Lake Washington at Carillon Point, which is an absolutely
- 1:20beautiful venue. Northwest Exotics presents a
- 1:23curated display of exceptional vehicles.
- 1:26Last year there was a Senna. Just in case there's any doubt
- 1:29of the level of caliber of the cars, they're fantastic.
- 1:32The vehicles span pre war classics to modern hyper cars.
- 1:37Each car is intentionally selected to highlight an
- 1:39important aspect of automotive design, engineering and history.
- 1:43The event attracts both collectors and enthusiasts from
- 1:46across the region and beyond, offering a rare opportunity to
- 1:49experience the world's most notable automobiles in the
- 1:52Pacific of West. And it is a lovely event.
- 1:55So congratulations on year six. Will Malfi is currently the
- 2:00General Manager of 1 Driver's Club, which is a beautiful car
- 2:03storage and social club in Redmond, WA.
- 2:06Will comes from a car enthusiast background on the East Coast and
- 2:10we met when we were both working for Haggerty.
- 2:12Will was managing the garage and social and I would work there
- 2:15frequently. So definitely we got to be
- 2:18coworkers at the time. And I'm lucky to consider I'm a
- 2:21friend now. And Will is definitely the
- 2:24heartbeat of 1 Driver's Club. And Will and Tom have teamed up
- 2:28for something they're going to share about tonight.
- 2:30So welcome, guys. We're so happy you're here.
- 2:34Like I said, great to be here, great to be here with Will.
- 2:36Thank you guys. I know we're fitted in on a
- 2:39Monday. Like I said, I just came from a
- 2:40video shoot, so that's why this is on me.
- 2:42I'm not always just wrapping my brand, but here we are.
- 2:45Nothing wrong with that though. So will, if you can share a
- 2:49little bit about your kind of career path and background, you
- 2:53know, before you landed in Redmond and then Tom will hear
- 2:56about your background and then we can sort of jump into the
- 2:59events. Yes.
- 3:01Absolutely. Sounds good.
- 3:04I'll go first time. I guess.
- 3:06I am from New York City, Rockaway Beach, which is like
- 3:09the southernmost tip of New York City, made famous by the Ramones
- 3:13and kind of grew up in that era where cars were a big deal.
- 3:19Hip hop in the 90s and 2000s and you know, big wheels and things
- 3:22of that nature. And so after college, just
- 3:26wanted to get into the scene and I started working at, I guess
- 3:31it's like the equivalent of car toys here in the Pacific
- 3:33Northwest. I don't know what that would be,
- 3:35you know, but you know, kind of a 12 Volt shop, you're doing
- 3:37stereos and alarms, things of that nature.
- 3:40And that's where I got my start. A couple years later, started my
- 3:43own place, my own shop called The Custom Shop, New York City.
- 3:47Shout out to those guys, They are still around and doing very,
- 3:49very well. Did that for a number of years
- 3:51before getting into online auctions with the Pecar Market
- 3:56and doing some private collection management on the
- 3:59North Shore of Long Island, which if you know, you know, is
- 4:02home to some of the best car collections in the world, and
- 4:06found my way out here to Seattle.
- 4:08Was lucky enough to get that job, like Lindsay said through
- 4:11Haggerty where we became friends and yeah, very lucky.
- 4:16I get to take care of some of the best cars in the area.
- 4:18I've met some incredible people through the club.
- 4:20It's just been an overall great experience.
- 4:22So Tom, obviously you've been doing this for six years now,
- 4:25but you started at a young enough age that there might not
- 4:28be a tremendous work history, as it were, but sort of tell us
- 4:32your background in terms of, like getting into cars and then,
- 4:37yeah, I mean, how did you ultimately decide to start your
- 4:39own Cars and coffee? Absolutely.
- 4:42Yeah. So it was, I mean, one of the
- 4:44quintessential stories. But I did not come from a car
- 4:47family. That's like the one distinction.
- 4:48I just loved Hot Wheels. And it was always, it's now a
- 4:52joke, but I had so many Hot Wheels when I was a kid that
- 4:54whenever I went to Fred Meyer, I would try to sneakily somehow
- 4:57buy with my few shillings. I would have Hot Wheels without
- 5:01my mom knowing. So she didn't know that.
- 5:05I was. Oh yeah, Oh yeah.
- 5:08And now it's like quadruple, like my room, it's bad.
- 5:10It's down onto the floor still. Like I have 2000 Hot Wheels in
- 5:14my room either way. So it's starting to know that,
- 5:17Tom, I've known you for some time, this the first time I'm
- 5:19hearing about this just. You should see it.
- 5:21It's. Bad, but you owe me a picture.
- 5:24Stick with that will, you're going to learn all the secrets.
- 5:28There you go. So that's where it started.
- 5:30And then, of course, mixed in that with that was Top Gear
- 5:33guys, and watching that on YouTube.
- 5:36And then I got to, you know, like 6th grades of aged 11/12
- 5:40and got Instagram. And then I started to see these
- 5:42photos of really cool cars. And I was like, Oh my God, like,
- 5:45no way that exists. Yeah.
- 5:48And so and then I started to just try to take cool photos of
- 5:52cars. But it was with an iPod Touch,
- 5:54which is like a microwave. And and then when I got to 8th
- 5:58grade, so like age 14, my mom gifted me a camera of hers.
- 6:01I started to go to like the Redmond Town Center car show and
- 6:04take photos. Still don't know what I was
- 6:06doing. And then freshman year of high
- 6:08school when I just turned 15, I was just starting to take more
- 6:11and more photos of cars, was becoming so much more enthralled
- 6:14with them. And had this idea one night
- 6:16laying in bed. I was like, I want to start a
- 6:19car show. Don't know where that came from.
- 6:21Went down the next morning to my parents at breakfast and I said,
- 6:24I want to start a car show. And they said, well, that's
- 6:26cool. How the hell are you going to do
- 6:28that? Because again, it's not like
- 6:30they were connected to anyone with cars or anything.
- 6:33And I was like, I don't know, but I guess I'll figure it out.
- 6:36And through so many people taking such major leaps on me
- 6:41from two months into high school until now, it's become kind of
- 6:46one of the big things in the Pacific Northwest.
- 6:49And then hopefully, especially after three weeks from now with
- 6:52our upcoming event. So that's like the Spark
- 6:55SparkNotes. I currently attend College in
- 6:57California in Los Angeles at Love Illinois.
- 6:59Now I study business entrepreneurship.
- 7:02And so that has kind of gone hand in hand with realizing like
- 7:05how you can grow things and how how you run a business and
- 7:09different things like that. And so I'm going into my senior
- 7:11year of college as well down there in 4 weeks.
- 7:15So I get to do the car shows, my full time job, I take for car
- 7:19photography on the side for extra cash and I get to be in
- 7:23school and it's freaking awesome so.
- 7:27Where do you start? I mean, yeah, where do you?
- 7:29I mean, how how do you find a place?
- 7:31How do you start getting people to come?
- 7:32And does it start with one car? I mean, what?
- 7:35Take us back to the beginning. Absolutely, yeah.
- 7:37And I'll, I'll try to keep it brief here because I could draw
- 7:39it out, but I've gotten pretty good at keeping it short.
- 7:43Like I said, I just had this idea and knew no one.
- 7:46And so I've been to 1 car show at Carillon Point, which is this
- 7:48beautiful place, as Lindsay mentioned, right on the water in
- 7:50Kirkland, WA. And they, they did a Porsche
- 7:52show there. And I was like, oh, like that's
- 7:56the place for a car show. And so I went to their little
- 7:58message request box on their website and I would send a
- 8:03message, send a message again. And I didn't hear back.
- 8:07And This is why moms are awesome.
- 8:08My mom, after like 2 months of me trying that, called them and
- 8:11was like, hey, my son is trying to meet you guys, can you just
- 8:15respond to him? And this this gentleman
- 8:18responded to me and said, hey, we'll take a meeting with you.
- 8:20And so two months into my freshman year of high school,
- 8:24went in there like their boardroom, you don't hug any
- 8:27table, leatherback chairs, the whole thing.
- 8:29My mom helped me make like an agenda, but I, you know, led the
- 8:32meeting and just kind of explained my vision and they
- 8:36were like, OK, so are these going to be like your friends
- 8:39cars? I said no, no, no, no.
- 8:42These are cool cars. For reference, I'm 15.
- 8:46Yeah, and so and she said OK, I don't see why not, but that was
- 8:50the profit manager at the time at Carillon Point.
- 8:52Wow. And looking back now, I mean,
- 8:54I'm only 21 now, but I would not even say yes to a 15 year old.
- 8:59Like 15 is so young. I mean, it's insane.
- 9:03So I have no idea. And it's not like I had a
- 9:04history either. Like I didn't have any work
- 9:07experience. I had nothing.
- 9:08But she said yes. And so from there, that was in
- 9:12October of 2019-2020 was coming around.
- 9:17You know, car season picks up here around March and then we
- 9:20know what happened on March 11th of 2020.
- 9:22And that was the biggest blessing in disguise.
- 9:26Like I think this we will probably not be here if COVID
- 9:28hadn't happened because it didn't know anyone, as I
- 9:30mentioned, but I thought I could do it over COVID.
- 9:34We couldn't have our first show, but I started to get to know
- 9:36like just enough people that by the time we exited COVID and
- 9:41like we were talking about I it all started with just DM ING
- 9:44people on Instagram and there was this guy who our logo is a
- 9:49career GT. It's on the back of the shirt
- 9:51along with Northwest Exotics. And I was always enthralled with
- 9:54that car. And I found the guy on Instagram
- 9:56two days before this promo shoot we were doing in the middle of
- 9:58COVID. If we could not do a show, but
- 10:00we thought we'd do the photo shoot.
- 10:02And he had a courage ET seemingly and was seemingly in
- 10:05the Seattle area. And I was like, hey, man, I
- 10:08don't know you, you don't know me, but we're doing this photo
- 10:10shoot. Would you want to come?
- 10:11And he said, sounds fun. And because I think like his
- 10:14involvement in a few other people's involvement at the
- 10:16beginning. By the time we then had the
- 10:17first show, we had a courage ET there, which in Seattle like
- 10:20kind of a big deal and it was a very much so a local cars and
- 10:24coffee at that point with maybe 80 people and then we can get
- 10:28into it more. But it now it's gone far beyond
- 10:31that. So that our first show was in
- 10:32June of 2021 and now it's August 2020.
- 10:35Six. Yeah, yeah, it's.
- 10:37Our sixth season. Yeah.
- 10:40Wow, wow. Was it that CGT that you know,
- 10:42really, you know, you knew you had something?
- 10:45It was that and then a different buddy who again, there's some
- 10:49serendipity things that are just crazy to happen.
- 10:52My dad got a new job right at that exact time in 2021 right
- 10:56before our first show. And one of his new Co workers
- 10:59husbands is one of the biggest car collectors in Seattle.
- 11:01Can't make it up. And that just happened.
- 11:04And he owns the fully exposed carbon fiber Ford GT, which at
- 11:08the time was brand new to the area.
- 11:11And so it was the four GT in that 4 GT next to each other.
- 11:15And at that point, everyone had been so deprived of cars because
- 11:17of COVID. Well, I say it was like just
- 11:20enough people and just enough cool cars to like be somewhat
- 11:23legitimate. And then you know how you build
- 11:25something, it's just brick by brick.
- 11:27And it's been brick by brick for six years now.
- 11:30And it's, I pinch myself every day.
- 11:32It's crazy. It's crazy.
- 11:34That's awesome. Well, and so you guys are now
- 11:37working together on something that I'm really excited to hear
- 11:40about. It's a weekend destination event
- 11:46after Car Week every year. This is the second year.
- 11:51So we would love to hear like, tell us about the event.
- 11:54Tell us what made you decide to build the event in addition to
- 11:57the show. Like, just tell us the story.
- 12:00Totally. And this is where Will kind of
- 12:02comes in the story more because as I mentioned, Will and I met
- 12:04each other about 3 years ago. I think Will right and then you
- 12:10know, just hit it off because you know you're at that, you're
- 12:15in the same industry and then you kind of know a lot of the
- 12:17same people. You know how that goes.
- 12:20And so you. Say, Tom, you were you were at
- 12:22one point, not anymore. But Tom was a lowly car spotter.
- 12:26You know, guy. You're.
- 12:27A leaper and leak in and out of wherever he could and get photos
- 12:31wherever he could. And you know, the joke among the
- 12:34industry is that Tom is the, you know, 40 year old, 21 year old.
- 12:38So he he absolutely, you know, came in and made a great
- 12:43impression on both myself, a lot of our clients, you know, that's
- 12:46how he has all the connection with these collectors and what
- 12:48not is because he carries himself very well.
- 12:50But you know, Tom and I instantly clicked.
- 12:52I was really impressed Tom with your knowledge of pre war stuff.
- 12:56You know, most guys his age are all about Kona Sags and you
- 12:59know, Paganis and Hyper cars and GT3 RSS.
- 13:02And, you know, Tom shows me well, hey, you know, what about
- 13:05this, you know, Alpha 6C or, you know, the Bentley blue train or
- 13:09one of those things. And that's just really
- 13:11incredible. I think that, you know, he has
- 13:13such knowledge and passion for cars.
- 13:15But I figured I'd throw that in there, Tom, because that's
- 13:16really the, the, you know, the foundation of our relationship.
- 13:19And from there, you know, Tom has deduced me to people that I
- 13:22can only have thought I would have met my wildest dreams.
- 13:25So yeah. Yeah, yeah, it's, it's like I
- 13:29said, it's been crazy how it's all progressed and how quickly,
- 13:32like where Will manages and like Will is one of my best friends
- 13:35and all these things now. It used to be like the forbidden
- 13:37place as I mentioned, but. What do you mean by that?
- 13:41It was just that exclusive. Yeah, it was, yeah.
- 13:44Yeah. It was originally built for a
- 13:46private families collection. And then, yeah, Lindsay, when
- 13:50when you and I kind of started to come around there, Haggerty
- 13:53had tried to open it up to a, you know, regional group of
- 13:58people. But they what they didn't
- 14:00realize is like the Haggerty clients and the type of clients
- 14:02that we have, they intersect somewhat, but not your average
- 14:05Haggerty client, right? So you're not really having the
- 14:08guy who has a 69 Mustang or a 68 Camaro, he doesn't really need
- 14:11storage. And so they kind of, you know,
- 14:15fumble that. But in doing what they did is
- 14:17they opened it up to the community.
- 14:19And I think that was one of the best things that happened with
- 14:21the place is that more people had access.
- 14:23And I love sharing the cars with, you know, those that are
- 14:25respectful, a car person, whether you drive a, you know,
- 14:29Hyundai Lantra or a, you know, or a 250 GTO, we all love cars.
- 14:33So it's kind of a cool thing. And that's another way having me
- 14:35and Tom connected so much because we wanted to take that
- 14:38that sharing thing to the next level.
- 14:39Well, I just want to give you a shout out because you the
- 14:41facility there is fantastic. I got to see it about a year ago
- 14:45and came around a corner or whatever.
- 14:47And so how well what was there and there was just some amazing,
- 14:50amazing stuff. I mean really of of all eras,
- 14:52just high quality stuff. The, the place itself is really
- 14:55beautiful. She has a great vibe.
- 14:58You know, it's, it's, it's a place you want to hang out,
- 15:00which is I, I think a big challenge for places like yours,
- 15:03right? Sometimes you just don't feel
- 15:06that welcome, right, even if you're renting a spa, right?
- 15:08And, and your right place has a really nice, nice vibe, so.
- 15:12No, thank you, Thank you. And I think Lindsay could attest
- 15:15that at one point it wasn't like that.
- 15:16It was kind of cold. It was like a museum almost in
- 15:19some ways. And you were like afraid to make
- 15:21a sound, but you know, now again, like we have people of
- 15:25all, you know, ilks we have, you know, 10 figure clients that
- 15:29have 20 cars, you know, down to a guy who, you know, his pride
- 15:32and joy is AI don't know midnight 7 Carrera, right, or
- 15:36something like that. And that's all cool.
- 15:38Like again, we treat everybody the same and we're just all in
- 15:40it for the love of the game. And I think that's how it also
- 15:43relates to Northwest Exotics or any of the shows that we're
- 15:47involved in is just we want to do it for the culture.
- 15:50Seattle definitely has a lot to show.
- 15:53We have a lot of cars here. We have a lot of collectors
- 15:55here. And I think it's kind of just
- 15:57not really looked at the same as the other West Coast cities, you
- 16:00know, primarily like Los Angeles and even some of the stuff in
- 16:03North Cal. I mean, you know, right, Tom, I
- 16:06think you would agree. We have some pretty heavy hitter
- 16:08collectors and cars up here still do even after some of them
- 16:11have left. Yeah, it's a, it's a really
- 16:13special collector community up here that I kind of say I like,
- 16:16I've grown up in, in a way and I I'll speak on it more in a bit.
- 16:21But it's a really special community up here that people
- 16:23obviously like don't really know exists on a broad scale.
- 16:28But the people here who make up this community and will and I
- 16:31will, I'm with some of them today.
- 16:32I've met with hosted at at their place.
- 16:35They're some of the biggest names in the industry.
- 16:37You know, we're talking ex chairmans of Pebble Beach, the
- 16:39chairman by the name of Glenn Munger.
- 16:41He was the chairman of Pebble Beach for about a decade.
- 16:43He started the preservation class, which is now a major
- 16:45thing, right? They had a best of show in 2024.
- 16:47That was a preservation car, which no one ever imagined that
- 16:50would happen, right? All these folks who they're,
- 16:55they're here like this is their place and getting to know them
- 17:00has been really, really cool. And I feel very like a bit like,
- 17:04you know, they're also all, you know, a bit older.
- 17:06And so I feel like they're done getting to meet, meet them,
- 17:09being part of their lives. Well, Tom, it's 21.
- 17:11Everyone is older, Yeah. Just a little bit.
- 17:16I envy your youth. He was hanging out with a bunch
- 17:19of octogenarians. They were.
- 17:21A. Lot older.
- 17:22They were older. I'm almost 40.
- 17:24They were older by my standards. So, OK, right out.
- 17:26Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a good way to feel young.
- 17:28You'll accept that standard. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:31Glenmunger is a long time Colorado grand partition and
- 17:35that's, that's something that I'm involved with.
- 17:37And yeah, I, I want to come back to that down, down the road.
- 17:42But, you know, we were talking about just getting this thing
- 17:44started. I mean, because there are things
- 17:47that that someone like, you know, me sitting here just has
- 17:49no idea that goes into the planning or, or just, you know,
- 17:52the, where do you start? I mean, do you need insurance?
- 17:55Like, you know, how do you vet the cars?
- 17:57You know, people on the grand, they always ask us what, you
- 17:59know, why does one car qualify to get in the other dozen,
- 18:02right. And I'm speaking about NW
- 18:03exotics now, right? So what are your criteria and,
- 18:06and how have you handled some of the maybe the people that you
- 18:10know, maybe get a little, you know, a little pissed off when
- 18:14their car isn't welcomed or Yeah, yeah, all all these
- 18:18politics, right? How do you?
- 18:19Handle. I would imagine he's in the
- 18:20middle of it given his expression right now.
- 18:24Yeah, well, yeah. So, you know, it's strange
- 18:28because as I mentioned, it's not like I started this as a Cars
- 18:31and Coffee and it's still a Cars and coffee and where it's it has
- 18:34not remained the same over the past six years.
- 18:37And so that's an interesting part that I think there's had to
- 18:39been some, there's been adjustment in the community as
- 18:42it started from me trying to get, you know, with a certain
- 18:46standard, anything I could share because I wanted to put
- 18:48something together. And then it just naturally grew.
- 18:51You know how you know people, if people like something, they
- 18:53introduce you to other folks and then it just grows and grows and
- 18:56grows Until that was the first four years was kind of a higher
- 19:01end. Cars and coffee.
- 19:02We do it two to three times a year.
- 19:04I would take kind of any exotic or classic I could get with a
- 19:09certain standard. And then as I mentioned, I'm in
- 19:12Business School right now and I started to get more and more
- 19:15involved in the world and realize like what this could
- 19:17become. And for one, how much I just
- 19:20love it. I mean, that's why I can never
- 19:21stop thinking about. It's what I live and breathe and
- 19:23love so much. So my freshman year of college,
- 19:28excuse me, my sophomore year of college, I've realized I want to
- 19:31kind of take the next step, which is making a place a
- 19:34destination, right? In a bigger way than just
- 19:37locally. Because for the most part, cars
- 19:39would come from within 30 minutes.
- 19:41I was like, wow, Seattle doesn't have many shows that are big at,
- 19:46at a certain caliber of car. And I'm at this kind of
- 19:51inflection point of, oh, it could become something a lot
- 19:53bigger. And I, I'm lucky to know a lot
- 19:55of a lot of folks who have some really cool cars.
- 19:57And then this is where I'm a, I'm a firm believer and just
- 20:00like throwing the line out there, seeing where it lands and
- 20:03then just figuring out how to get there.
- 20:05There's if you sat, you could sit here all day long.
- 20:08They're like, oh, well, there's a million reasons not to do that
- 20:10or wait, do this or do that. And I've realized like the
- 20:13beauty of entrepreneurship is just making shit happen.
- 20:16Yeah. And it's simply that, and
- 20:20there's a million things that go wrong on the way there and so
- 20:22many things don't go your way. But I, I'm a firm believer in
- 20:27failing above everyone else's successes.
- 20:29So working so hard and having a vision that's so big, that
- 20:32failure for me is still one of the best.
- 20:37Until last year, we got to a point where I want to make it
- 20:40more of a weekend of events. And so we added on a private
- 20:43event at a gentleman's collection on a in an evening.
- 20:47And then the next day we moved over to Caroline Point and did a
- 20:50bigger, bigger public show. And that last year was this big
- 20:54step of we brought in cars from 4 different states.
- 20:58And Pagani sent a car up from California, a friend sent their
- 21:04F1 car from California. Ford sent out one of their brand
- 21:07new GTDS at that point out from Detroit.
- 21:11And then, you know, the caliber was rising locally, too.
- 21:15And so we kind of got to a new level last year.
- 21:18And I was a bit more intentional about the cars I was inviting
- 21:24and selecting. And so it was kind of this other
- 21:27stepping stone. And then after that, I was like,
- 21:30oh, we're going all in, all in. And so now for the last eight
- 21:34months, I've been, if I'm not in class or not hanging out with
- 21:38friends often, but also I'm very selective with that because this
- 21:43takes time and so much work to execute on what I want to
- 21:47execute on, which I'll get into in a second here.
- 21:50But you know, you make a lot of sacrifice to chase your dream.
- 21:53And like I said, if I'm not doing other work, I'm doing this
- 21:56work. And this summer, I mean, I'm on
- 21:58a college summer, but I'm working 12 to 16 hours a day on
- 22:02this because it's one of those like the To Do List is eternal.
- 22:06There's always a million more things you could do and the
- 22:08beauty of entrepreneurship is it's up to you to make it happen
- 22:10and no one else. Well, but then there's also a
- 22:14team that comes with it, which has also been a major learning
- 22:16point of mine. And that's where Will comes into
- 22:19play. And this year, last year, Will
- 22:23was very on hands on with our events, but not the planning.
- 22:28And Will, I think kind of shared the same vision of what this all
- 22:30could become. And so for the past kind of 6 to
- 22:338 months, Will has been so much more involved and just boots on
- 22:37the ground because I'm in in LA for part of the year for school,
- 22:40boots on the ground here, obviously knows a lot of people
- 22:42as well. And then again, just making
- 22:44stuff happen. Like that's the biggest thing.
- 22:45You just have to get stuff done. Will understands that more than
- 22:47anyone else. And so Will has been integral
- 22:51into this year. I'm just being that guy who's
- 22:54making those last minute connections, you know, whether
- 22:56it's with a transporter, a collector, an owner, and just
- 23:00facilitating it. And then really, you know,
- 23:02getting those little details and figured out as well.
- 23:06Because, and I haven't really gotten into like what this all
- 23:08entails and like what I work on probably 16 hours a day.
- 23:11But I don't know, Will, if you want to sustain anything up
- 23:13until that point of kind of how you've gotten more involved and
- 23:16what you saw with the events and such.
- 23:19Sure, well, thank you Tom, That was some very kind words from
- 23:22you. I appreciate that what I had
- 23:24seen and I can tell you from my perspective coming to I think
- 23:27your what, second or third show, right was the first one I ever
- 23:30went to came to it's the 5th, the 5th show.
- 23:33Wow, OK, well they're good. But you know Tom, I showed up
- 23:36and I remember talking and I was like, wow, this is great.
- 23:37You have some good stuff, but do you remember Tom?
- 23:39One of the first things I said to him, I said, well, you have
- 23:41some filler cars. You have some cars here that are
- 23:44really, really crazy and then you have some stuff here that's
- 23:46just, you know, it's OK, it's cool for a car show, but what
- 23:49are you looking to do? And the evolution that I've seen
- 23:52since then made it where after the show we did last year, if
- 23:56you remember, Tom, I said, how are we going to top that?
- 23:58Because, you know, we had the first and only Ferrari SP3
- 24:03Daytona that was delivered to Washington.
- 24:05We had the Bruce McLaren can amcar.
- 24:09I'm blanking on the exact name here.
- 24:11But there was just some stuff that obviously a lot of
- 24:13attention went into and only someone can pull off with the
- 24:16connections that, you know, Tom and, and myself and other folks
- 24:19on our team have made. So, you know, this year when we
- 24:21were thinking about this, I think that the obvious intention
- 24:25for myself and Tom was just let's give them the best car
- 24:29show that Seattle has ever seen in history.
- 24:32And we're going to do our best to work on that.
- 24:34And so far, I think that if we, you know, we're still planning
- 24:38and moving today with 20 days to go.
- 24:41But if we stopped working today on getting stuff, I think that
- 24:44we would still have probably the best lineup of cars that that
- 24:49any show is shown in Seattle. Not to pat ourselves on the
- 24:53back, but I think that think we've gotten there.
- 24:56One of the biggest things I think being that we're going to
- 24:58get together the Ferrari BIG6 in Washington and in one of the few
- 25:04times in the United States that it's been done.
- 25:06And for, you know a couple of guys from the area that are not
- 25:09a dealership or not a big organization, that was quite a
- 25:13task. Yeah, yeah.
- 25:15I'm, I'm curious because you mentioned it.
- 25:16You talked about the filler cars.
- 25:18When I was a kid growing up at Christmas, my my late Grandma
- 25:21Betty would always give the best Christmas gifts, like a
- 25:24skateboard, like a Santa Cruz skateboard or a boom box.
- 25:27But then she'd have what she'd call filler inners between.
- 25:29It'd be like a colouring book or a matchbox car, right.
- 25:32So what were these filler cars? Like what?
- 25:34What? You know what?
- 25:35Yeah. So this is.
- 25:38As an enthusiast, they're awesome cars, but let me give
- 25:40you context. OK.
- 25:41You would walk into the show and you would see a, you know,
- 25:46Ferrari 166 Millimiglia, right, which is car #10 built from the
- 25:50time with Ferrari factory. Tom, am I referring to that car
- 25:53correctly? Yes.
- 25:54Yeah, the the 16 MMM, Barketa. And it's yeah, yeah, serial
- 25:58number number 0010. So it's yeah.
- 26:00So like the 10th, the 10th Ferrari ever built.
- 26:02Yeah. And you're gonna go around the
- 26:04show and you have this insane stuff and then you'd get to a
- 26:06row and it's, and this is please no hate, a bunch of C8 Corvettes
- 26:10and Cadillac V cars. Now, as an enthusiast, I think
- 26:14the CA Corvette is an amazing car, best friend for the buck
- 26:16you can probably get. And the Cadillac V cars are
- 26:19amazing. You know, good on them for
- 26:21continuing to make a rear wheel drive V8 manual sedan, which is
- 26:24amazing. But there was definitely a
- 26:26disjointed idea where like, I see where Tom wanted to go and I
- 26:29see the connections that he had, but he can only pull so many
- 26:32cars from those people, you know, for maybe they have one
- 26:35person working that collection, right?
- 26:37So he still wanted to have a full parking lot and and that
- 26:40was kind of the filler car. So again, great cars, but for
- 26:43the caliber of what he was trying to do.
- 26:45And I think that I identified that early on.
- 26:47It was one of the first conversations that you know, him
- 26:49and I ever had. And I hope that he appreciates
- 26:52that I was candid. That was the roots though, and
- 26:55that's why I'm like, I'm that was like where it started,
- 26:57right? Exactly.
- 26:58And those cars like through GT and the Cadillac V Club would
- 27:00show up and show out for me and. At the same club.
- 27:03Yeah, exactly. And that was the community,
- 27:04which I give a lot of respect for.
- 27:05But as an outsider who just came from New York, I was like, oh,
- 27:08this is interesting. I see he's got one thing here
- 27:10and then he's got one thing here.
- 27:11And I think here in 2026 at this show our I'll make a joke on our
- 27:17filler cars. Tom and I have made this joke.
- 27:18Our filler cars would be headlining other shows.
- 27:21Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, there's something to be
- 27:23said about situational awareness too.
- 27:25If you're a Corvette driver. I mean, you know, take a look
- 27:28around if there's, you know, a car like that Ferrari, you know,
- 27:33time to take your new balances and and you know, go a couple
- 27:38blocks down the road. Right.
- 27:39Yeah, right. I love those cars too, just.
- 27:41For contrast. I I know the car behind me.
- 27:44I love it, but it's probably not getting in your show.
- 27:46I accept that, right? You know, but, but how do you,
- 27:49how do you break the news to people?
- 27:50I mean, I suppose now that you've done this for a while,
- 27:52people kind of know what to expect.
- 27:54But you know how? How do you let people down
- 27:57gently? Yeah, it's I hate, I used to
- 28:01hate conflict that has. Changed last year.
- 28:03Used to hate conflict. I'm learning all kinds of life
- 28:06lessons from you. Yeah, man.
- 28:08Yeah. But then you learn again, if if
- 28:11you want to actually do stuff, you're going to make people
- 28:14unhappy. And it was, it's never my
- 28:17intention. I never want to make someone
- 28:19unhappy. But when you have a vision and I
- 28:22have a major issue like with complacency, I always want to be
- 28:24getting better no matter what it is in my life.
- 28:27And so you have to make decisions.
- 28:30And like we talked about, there's a decision with getting
- 28:33it to a certain caliber that I want and then also making it a
- 28:35ticket event, which this is the first year, it's a ticket event,
- 28:39which we'll get into in a second.
- 28:40And there's, you know, there was a lot of intention behind that
- 28:42and it wasn't, Oh my God, I'm going to start this charge 60
- 28:46bucket ticket and pocket it all. I'm going to most likely
- 28:49actually lose money on the sucker even if I sell the show
- 28:52out. Yeah, Tom's not getting a career
- 28:54GT everyone. Just so you know.
- 28:56It's just not. A quick ticket.
- 28:57To the career. Yeah, well, if the prices keep
- 28:59don't stop going up, none of us ever will, right?
- 29:04And I don't need to make money off of this.
- 29:06And this is not my intention. I'm also lucky enough that I'm
- 29:08still in college and I'm still supported by my parents right
- 29:10now. So I don't my life is not
- 29:12relying on the show, which I feel very lucky to have that.
- 29:17But to answer your question then get into that ticketing thing,
- 29:19because it's very relevant to one of the biggest things I'm
- 29:21dealing with right now as we speak is I think to your point,
- 29:27a lot of people understand, they can see what's happening with
- 29:30the event and they understand that it, it is growing and
- 29:32changing. Now there's the folks that see
- 29:34that and I think don't understand.
- 29:37And like we had some backlash when we kind of announced that
- 29:39we were taking this year that our show was elitist.
- 29:42And I, I don't really know what to besides the fact that if you
- 29:48go to Tom, 6 year old Tom's bedroom, which is still right
- 29:51above my head and it has all those same Hot Wheels.
- 29:54You will see that the cars that were on my shelf since I was a
- 29:57kid, of the cars that are at the car show though, the just my
- 30:00passion, just like someone's passion might be JDM or I mean
- 30:04you name it. My passion has always been the
- 30:07nicer things, whether it be a classic pre war car or Pagani.
- 30:11My license plate on my Volvo I-60 is Zonda.
- 30:13My favorite car is a Pagani Zonda.
- 30:16Yeah, I've had that since I was 15.
- 30:18That's just my interest. And so that's why that's why the
- 30:20show has always been what it was.
- 30:22It's called NW Exotics because the only show I went to at the
- 30:25time of starting end was Exotics at Roman Town Center.
- 30:27So that was the only name I could have it had in my brain
- 30:31was Exotics somewhere. And my Instagram handle
- 30:35personally at that time was NW Exotics.
- 30:37And so people in middle school would call me NW Exotics.
- 30:41And so when I got to high school and then I was starting this, I
- 30:43was like, oh, well, that makes logical sense to name the show
- 30:45that. And now it's just begin with.
- 30:48That. Yeah.
- 30:49So anyways, telling people no is hard no matter what it is in
- 30:55life. But it's just, you know,
- 30:58explaining where we're at and that we're growing and that we
- 31:00also have very, very, very limited space.
- 31:02We can show about 65 to 70 cars in that lot small.
- 31:05And so that's always been a big part of it as well.
- 31:09And then also having themes, I think that's a major thing for
- 31:12Europe. You can work within a cool round
- 31:14to curate something. And for example, our our theme
- 31:17of this upcoming event is card cultures from around the globe.
- 31:20And where that came from was that I, I had a certain theme in
- 31:24my brain for this year when I was, I was studying about in
- 31:26London in the fall, from September to December and got to
- 31:30experience car culture there, which, Oh my God, is it cool and
- 31:34so different from here. And I go, you know, I've grown
- 31:37up here in this car culture. And then I experienced this, the
- 31:40LA car culture because I go to school full time there.
- 31:42And so I made it to three different car cultures and I was
- 31:45like, whoa, they are so vastly different from each other,
- 31:49people, dealerships, businesses, the cars that are produced
- 31:53there, just the overall vibe. And so I was like, that's the
- 31:56theme for this year is celebrating different car
- 31:59cultures and highlighting different parts of those
- 32:01cultures. And so that's.
- 32:04Super cool. Fitting cars into those themes,
- 32:06whatever the theme may be, right, as part of that curation
- 32:08process as well. And I'll get into that in a
- 32:11second of like this year and what we have coming and kind of
- 32:15the reasons why cars are there, right?
- 32:16It's knowing their history, knowing the history of those
- 32:18cultures and how those cars are significant to those cultures.
- 32:21And so that's part of the explaining that to people as
- 32:23well as, hey, you know, we're full all ready for one.
- 32:27And also we have folks from the from out of town and it's giving
- 32:29them an opportunity to show their cars here.
- 32:33It's kind of a whole. There's a whole mix of reasons
- 32:35and and most people don't, once I explain that, they totally
- 32:39understand it. You're curating it as a museum
- 32:42would do. Exactly.
- 32:43Right. You know, yeah, it's and that's
- 32:47that's the secret. I think, you know, it's it's,
- 32:51it's intentional, right? And I think that's something
- 32:53that's missing from a lot of these a lot of these events,
- 32:56but. And in life too, like you, I
- 32:59think you go places with intent. If you know where you're going,
- 33:02it's easier to see an opportunity going in front of
- 33:06you. If you don't know where you're
- 33:07going, that opportunity will just walk right by you and
- 33:10you'll never see it. And so it's being aware and
- 33:13they're like, I got to look at that or that or that person just
- 33:16said something and they know that person.
- 33:17That's like, oh, interesting. OK, I think we should.
- 33:20Tally up all the life lessons at the end of this episode.
- 33:24I heard the people listening because I mean you, you started
- 33:26with, you know, you found something you loved, right?
- 33:30And you ran with it. You know, you, you, you didn't
- 33:32take what was what was tossed your way.
- 33:34You know, you, you learn to say no.
- 33:36And you went after the things you did want, right?
- 33:38And you mentioned the, the, the, the admission.
- 33:42Lindsay, you know, I, I've never been to a show like this where
- 33:45that charges admission, right. What, what was the, I guess the,
- 33:50the, the tipping point for you or the inflection point?
- 33:54And, and talk a bit, if you would, about, you know, the
- 33:56reaction that you've gotten. I mean, Lindsay, would that
- 33:59scare you off? Or would that, would that, would
- 34:02that set a bomb for you? And please.
- 34:04Yeah, like what? We can handle it.
- 34:08Right. I know you guys are tough.
- 34:11I think it depends perceived. Value kind of thing.
- 34:14Yeah. And it's like how it's
- 34:15presented, I think the show has like it's clearly moved beyond a
- 34:21cars and coffee and it's not presented that way.
- 34:24And a lot of car shows, the way the show has been presented, you
- 34:30know, especially last year, it's sort of the level of caliber of
- 34:33it. I don't think it's that unusual
- 34:36that you need to buy a ticket for that type of event.
- 34:40Obviously, if it's if somebody says like, hey, I'm doing a cars
- 34:43and coffee and I'm charging admission, that's not something
- 34:45any of us have experienced and would take a little bit more,
- 34:49you know, sort of education, if you will, PR whatever.
- 34:54But no, I think that this level of event you think about like,
- 34:58you know, the Quail has an admission fee, Pebble has an
- 35:00admission fee and other. Yes they do.
- 35:04They do. Yeah. 1595 this year, is it
- 35:07Lindsay? I believe.
- 35:08I believe so. Yeah.
- 35:10Ballpark, you know, give or take, yeah.
- 35:13And I know that's what you guys are building this event to be.
- 35:16Is that type of like a destination event.
- 35:18So I think it's the context. Like it makes sense in that
- 35:21context. Yeah, yeah.
- 35:23And we'll all just kind of get this going and you can just
- 35:25speak to it because you're just so attuned to everything that's
- 35:28going on right now. To answer your question, Ryan, I
- 35:32realized last year as I tried to punch into this new level and we
- 35:35were so lucky to have a few folks send their cars and pay
- 35:38for it, find out that's not the norm.
- 35:42It's usually on the event organizer to pay for it,
- 35:44especially at this level when you're kind of you're not Pebble
- 35:47and Pebble still does pay for cars, but also people want their
- 35:49cars to be a Pebble, etcetera, etcetera.
- 35:51So last year that was like the first little inkling and then I
- 35:54had some, some cheap event insurance and then literally 3
- 35:59days, five days before the event, this thing came to
- 36:03fruition from a Ford and they were like, hey, just send us
- 36:05your COI. That's why I sent them my
- 36:06certificate of insurance. And they're like, dude, this
- 36:08isn't even close to what we need to send a car.
- 36:12And so this was a crazy story. In 88 minutes, I went from not
- 36:17having an insurance policy or having an insurance policy using
- 36:20ChatGPT to find a new person in 88 minutes.
- 36:24I don't know how this happened. This guy who I found online, I
- 36:28connected with him, he got in touch with all the people that
- 36:33he needed to and I had a policy underwritten from nothing in 88
- 36:37minutes to meet. For he was using ChatGPT too.
- 36:41Probably, and I don't know how it happened, but that cost alone
- 36:45was $4000 and I don't have money.
- 36:49I'm in college. I have a little bit, but that's
- 36:52not even that much. And so it's a lot of money yeah.
- 36:54My, my dad was kind enough to cover that last year because it
- 36:59was 5 days before the show. Literally we got that that box
- 37:03clicked and then that GTD got on the truck the next morning it
- 37:05came out here from Detroit. And so just those little touch
- 37:09points exactly. I was like, oh, if I want to do
- 37:13this and grill this to where I want to, we need money because
- 37:18we live in a capitalistic society and that's how things
- 37:20actually happen as I learned. And I didn't really think about
- 37:23that. And before that, and it was all
- 37:27sweet and dandy. And then that changed.
- 37:29And then I realized more and more as I just with the vision
- 37:32of what I had of what I want this to be, I was like, oh, I
- 37:35like really need money. Like you can't, I can't rely on
- 37:38people's goodwill to spend 5000 bucks to ship one car from
- 37:43California, let alone 10 or something like that.
- 37:47And and then with the other, just little, right?
- 37:51If someone's going to pay, they're going to need value
- 37:53beyond just the cars. And so it's all these little
- 37:55details to add up so fast, like our owner's breakfast that, you
- 38:01know, we like to treat the owners because they're being
- 38:03very kind and donating their vehicles and time time that's 10
- 38:06grand. A truck from California, that's
- 38:09a few 10s of grants, The insurance 5 grand, security, 5
- 38:14grand, all the event rentals, 10 grand.
- 38:16So we're already up like 45 right now.
- 38:18I don't even want to say the number that the number has
- 38:21gotten to of all of our line items on our budget or our
- 38:24expenses. And like I said, I don't have
- 38:28this money, bills not going to shell out this money.
- 38:31I'm not going to go to, you know, some big car collector and
- 38:33be like, give me 100 grand, although you could you're.
- 38:37You're very charming. Yeah, I guess so.
- 38:40Yeah, he could. I mean he definitely he gets, he
- 38:42gets cars worth in the, you know, 20 to $40 million.
- 38:45Well, I think one of the big things in Tom, I don't want to
- 38:47interrupt you, but I just want to add this to what you were
- 38:49saying. The show went from a a budget of
- 38:514 digits to 6 digits very quickly.
- 38:55And so we realized, you know, there was only going to be one
- 38:57way, as Tom said. And yeah, I mean, we kind of
- 39:01knew that there would be a little bit of backlash.
- 39:03But, you know, I'm welcome to the opportunity of outside of
- 39:05the Peterson Museum and a few other shows like you mentioned,
- 39:09like the Quail, which is, you know, a lot more than we're
- 39:11charging. You're probably just not going
- 39:12to see this kind of stuff. And so I think it was just born
- 39:14out of necessity. But that was really for Tom's
- 39:17ambition. We just needed a budget that
- 39:19matched, you know, his, his vision.
- 39:22And it's still not even close to like the ultimate vision, but
- 39:24it's a big step. It's a big step something
- 39:28something about charging. Yeah.
- 39:30Yeah, Lindsay knows the story. Years ago, I was living in
- 39:33Chicago and we lived in an apartment building next to a
- 39:35bar. It's kind of a bike or bar.
- 39:36It's kind of a dive. And I think it was every Monday
- 39:38night to bring people in on a Monday night.
- 39:40They did $0.10 chicken wings, which seems like an incredible
- 39:43bargain in retrospect, but at the time it was kind of the
- 39:45going rate. This was years ago and but it
- 39:47brought in the wrong crowd, right?
- 39:49We had people pissing on our front door of our building,
- 39:52trash left behind, You know, we'd find weird things on the
- 39:54ground. You know, eventually, I guess
- 39:57$0.10 became too little to charge and they, they, they
- 40:00upped the price to $0.25. And like that, people stopped
- 40:04pissing on our front door. We stopped finding trash, you
- 40:07know, I mean, so it's just there's, there's something
- 40:09about. Upping the the the the admission
- 40:12cost right and and and retaining the right people I guess and.
- 40:17I I think it. Seems counterintuitive, but.
- 40:19Yeah, no, I, I don't. But I think in a way also it
- 40:21goes back to something Tom said before is that you're showing
- 40:24intention. So our guests know that if
- 40:26they're paying a little bit of money to see these things, it's
- 40:29because it's meaningful enough to them to want to go do that.
- 40:32The same way if you go to a, you know, a nice museum or
- 40:34something, even if they don't charge, maybe you donate because
- 40:36you say, hey, it's a pleasure for me to be able to look at
- 40:38this Rembrandt or Monet or whatever it might be.
- 40:40And these cars are no different than that.
- 40:43You know, one of the cover cars for our our poster is probably
- 40:47the most famous pre war car of all time, you know, the Bentley
- 40:50speed 6 blue train. And I think that it's explaining
- 40:54that to my girlfriend then what the quality was or the level of
- 40:57that car. I said this is the Mona Lisa of
- 40:59cars. It's definitely up there.
- 41:01And so I think that, you know, for what we're asking, you're
- 41:03not necessarily overcharging. You're supporting the community,
- 41:07You know, you're allowing things like this to happen continually
- 41:09into the future. And I don't know, I I agree with
- 41:12what you guys are saying, but sometimes there has to be a
- 41:14little barrier of entry to keep out the riffraff and to make
- 41:18sure that the people who are coming are coming to appreciate
- 41:20it. Yeah, I was.
- 41:22I'm kind of used to that at my job.
- 41:24Sometimes we got to do do that once in a while.
- 41:26So. Yeah.
- 41:26Yeah, and it's also, I wish it could be free and I wish
- 41:30everyone could come at no cost, but we.
- 41:33Tried to make it that way, Tom. Right, we did try.
- 41:35Exactly. And on that up until this point,
- 41:38we looked into it this year, you know, because you can get a good
- 41:41amount of money from sponsors, but not near to the amount we
- 41:44needed. But there's also a side of this
- 41:49to your point, Ryan, of control. And that is a major thing that
- 41:56we also almost learned our lesson on last year when there
- 41:59was some kids again, young enthusiasts.
- 42:01I'm so glad that they're there, but they're on their E bike in
- 42:03the show when there's a $40 million, two 75 yard Spider
- 42:07Ferrari sitting right there, that's an issue that cannot
- 42:11happen and nothing happened, but that there has to be control.
- 42:16And so there's that's also and then there's a safety aspect
- 42:19side of it too for people and the cars.
- 42:21And so that was also just a natural evolution.
- 42:23It's like, OK, you know, if this is where this is going, this has
- 42:26to be more controlled for everyone's sake.
- 42:30And so that was that's, that was a, a major part of it too.
- 42:32And, and for the property too, They don't want an event getting
- 42:35out of hand. And so selling tickets with a
- 42:38limited number because of our literal capacity for that space
- 42:40too. We'll have to see how many
- 42:42people are coming, but we know how to figure things out way
- 42:44better than, oh, now we're bringing in a Pagani and F1 car.
- 42:47Who knows what could happen? Which that why I wasn't even
- 42:49thinking about what could happen.
- 42:50And our show from our June show last year, that August show with
- 42:54that Pagani and F1 car, our tenants doubled from 500 / 1000
- 42:58people. It's like, OK, we're there now
- 43:01time to figure this out. And so there's, there's a
- 43:04million expenses that go into it, all the little details.
- 43:08And then also just like getting the cars that we're getting.
- 43:11And so a really special car that we have coming that's one of our
- 43:14headline cars with the Bentley Blue train is the Aston Martin
- 43:17Valkyrie AM RLMH. And so it's one of the Lamar
- 43:22Hypercars races in IMSO here and in WEC in Europe.
- 43:27There's two chassis in North America.
- 43:29And you know, we have some very kind people who are allowing
- 43:32that car to come up from Arizona for the weekend, literally in
- 43:35between races, in between race weekends.
- 43:37That's a car you cannot see unless you were at an IMSO race.
- 43:42And that's also part of this is like we're getting value by pain
- 43:47to see these immensely special things you would not see
- 43:50basically anywhere else, especially at a car show.
- 43:53And so we're very lucky to have some very generous people
- 43:56helping us out getting those cars here.
- 43:59But it's we're, we're there at this new level and it's just
- 44:06part of it. And I again, I hate, I hate to
- 44:07have to charge, but that's where we are.
- 44:09And like I said, sure, my margin is razor thin.
- 44:11And with like one more car getting transported up here from
- 44:14California, I, it goes overboard and I start to lose money.
- 44:17So. Yeah.
- 44:18That's that's where we're at, yeah.
- 44:21So can I also, can I also throw in teams just while we're
- 44:23talking about the, the Aston Martin there that chassis races
- 44:27for the harder racing, which is a basically charitable racing
- 44:32team where they, you know, use all their proceeds to go towards
- 44:35cardiovascular research at the Seattle Children's Hospital.
- 44:38And so we are donating a fairly large portion of the ticket
- 44:43revenue to the heart of Racing's initiatives, I guess you would
- 44:49say. Yeah, with, with Seattle
- 44:50Children's, which is obviously, you know, really near and dear
- 44:53to both Tom and I as Seattle residents, but also to a lot of
- 44:56our, our, our clientele and that our, our drivers that are
- 45:00showing their cars there. So, you know, it is for a good,
- 45:03a good 'cause as well. There is a good reason behind
- 45:05that. But a lot of what the owners of
- 45:07the cars have asked is that, hey, I'd like this to be a
- 45:09charitable thing. I'd like there to be a, you
- 45:11know, philanthropic aspect. So that way we're not just
- 45:14parading our, you know, hyper cars around over here.
- 45:16There's gonna be some good out of this.
- 45:17And so we also wanted to make that part of the show because
- 45:21Tom, right, correct me if I'm wrong.
- 45:22And there just wasn't an aspect of that before.
- 45:24And not because I don't think anyone wanted to, there was just
- 45:26no money being collected. So yeah, it was kind of just all
- 45:28goodwill of of owners. But in bringing it to that
- 45:31level, I think there's going to be a double benefit that yes,
- 45:34people are going to get to experience these very special
- 45:36things, but it is also going to go to a good cause and bring
- 45:38people together. Yeah, absolutely.
- 45:41Absolutely. If you can, if you can enjoy
- 45:43some cars and to do some good at the same time, like that's a
- 45:46pretty perfect event. So tell us a little bit about.
- 45:50Yeah, well, I would say you have hit the nail on the head.
- 45:54Tell us a little bit about sort of you mentioned like the
- 45:57evening portion of the weekend and just kind of like what
- 46:02that's like for, you know, those who haven't been before.
- 46:05Yeah. So we a kind of a different side
- 46:08of this that's emerged last year and we've taken a big step this
- 46:11year is more private events for the the show car owners that are
- 46:15showing at the show, again, making it a destination for
- 46:19people to want to send their cars.
- 46:22And we've gotten access to some very beautiful properties in the
- 46:26area to host these private events app.
- 46:30And I can't really say much just because of privacy and
- 46:34respecting that for a lot of people.
- 46:37But it's become this other side of it that again, there's like
- 46:40no money in that. We're not.
- 46:42Well, we are charging for some of those events, but all those
- 46:45proceeds, 100% of them go. 100% of those proceeds.
- 46:48To charity. And so this year we're
- 46:49benefiting the Lemay Museum, which is a pillar of our
- 46:53community here. And, you know, it's they, they
- 46:55can always, you know, get the help wherever they can of just,
- 46:59you know, helping support their mission of being our place here
- 47:02in Seattle. And then we're doing a Dr.
- 47:04aspect as part of the weekend as well.
- 47:07And so we're benefiting Josie Rimmer over at Dirtfish.
- 47:11She started the Woman in Motorsports Summit and that
- 47:15issue of of helping women get into motorsport.
- 47:18And we love the Rimmer family, you know, over here at my place.
- 47:22And so we're having to drive fully benefit her fund and we're
- 47:28taking part in their opening ceremony of the summit because
- 47:31it is the same weekend this year, which we sat down and it
- 47:34was like, this is perfect, literally because we're going to
- 47:37have our drive go out to dirt Fish and we're going to flank
- 47:40their stage for their opening ceremony with all these hyper
- 47:43cars and then cruise out after the opening ceremony.
- 47:47And so, you know, a really cool part about this all, especially
- 47:50this year has been getting to be involved with the pillars of the
- 47:53industry here, whether it be the Lemay dirt fish, Grios motors,
- 47:59who else am I? I mean will bright.
- 48:01Who else has written you a check so far?
- 48:05Literally. Yeah, but it's, but it's.
- 48:08But it's right though, That's why these people want to be
- 48:10involved for that reason, because we all do lean on each
- 48:12other. And not to sound cliche or
- 48:14corny, but the car community is only as good as the people.
- 48:17It's made-up front. You know, the cars are great,
- 48:19the events are great, the locations are great.
- 48:21But really, at the end of the day, a lot of this hinges on
- 48:24people donating their, their money, their time, their
- 48:26vehicles, their employees, right?
- 48:28Like that's what makes it special.
- 48:31Yeah, yeah. What are you guys into
- 48:33personally? Like what really does it for
- 48:35you? Like for me, you know, it's when
- 48:38I see AD type right on the grand, right?
- 48:40That's just like, wow, you know? So what is it that just you
- 48:44know, what are those matchbox cars like right.
- 48:46You said those are the cars that you you know, that you still
- 48:49love. Like what?
- 48:50Yeah, what doesn't? For me, for me, it like I said,
- 48:53Pagani has always been my shit, excuse my language as from a
- 48:59young kid, from from a young age, it was like Piani, Pagani,
- 49:01Pagani. I don't know what it was.
- 49:02So Bazani specifically, like I mentioned, that's my license
- 49:05plate in my world. And so, and that was where my
- 49:08passion really started was with the more modern things.
- 49:11OK. And then once I started going to
- 49:12Pebble Beach, I was like, Oh my God, these old cars have so much
- 49:17character to them and the stories are incredible.
- 49:18They are works, true works of art that, you know, blood,
- 49:21sweat, tears went into whether they raced, they didn't race.
- 49:24They're all hand built, right? And so my passion is slid back
- 49:27in time so fast and that's I think kind of represented.
- 49:30So my other favorite car, my two favorite cars, it's Zonda in the
- 49:331959 Ferrari 250 Tester Rosa, which is specifically the
- 49:36Fontuzzi body. It's closed Fender cards, not
- 49:39your pontoon Fender cards, only three of them.
- 49:42And that car is like the embodiment in my mind of what a
- 49:45car should be. And you know, my lock screen on
- 49:49my phone and has been for four years and I don't think I'll
- 49:52ever change that. That's that's like the ultimate
- 49:54dream. And then that's reflected in the
- 49:56show, I think perfectly with the duality of the Ash Martin
- 49:59Valkyrie race car, which we're also going to have the road car
- 50:01there. So we'll have the road car and
- 50:02the race car back-to-back. And then fantastic.
- 50:06The duality of the Bentley Blue train which, as Will mentioned I
- 50:09don't know if you guys are familiar with this car I know
- 50:12pre war cars are getting more and more less so anyone's then
- 50:14they're very much so my thing they're.
- 50:17Going to come back I I'm telling you because they're just too
- 50:19cool. They're just.
- 50:20Exactly, I hope so. It's a it's a one off card they
- 50:23built. It's one of the most legendary
- 50:25stories of all time in the pre war world of and I won't go into
- 50:29it but one of the Bentley Boys Wolf Barnato famously raced
- 50:33Latren Blue, the blue train across France to London and the
- 50:37Bentley Speed 6. It turned out it was a different
- 50:40Speed 6 not this famous 1 the Guney Nutting Coupe which is
- 50:43this one on. The Mulliner saloon, I believe.
- 50:45Yeah, just like this. Regular speed 6 at the time, but
- 50:48the car that got famous became this was the one off car that
- 50:52didn't actually do it but became it's just this raked roof.
- 50:55It's just stunning, it's this huge.
- 50:57And it was from the painting Tom correct is what actually people
- 51:00thought the Speed 6 was the Bentley car because I.
- 51:02Believe it was the same as panting.
- 51:04It was just the Lord then came to be.
- 51:06And then there's this painting of the the the blue train
- 51:08Bentley next to the blue train, which I don't think either way
- 51:11any show goes to it. This is 1.
- 51:13You know, it's been the star car Hampton Court.
- 51:16You know, obviously Pebble Beach, one of Amelia Audrain
- 51:20like wherever it goes, it's the car.
- 51:22And so having it be let out to our van and show that duality of
- 51:26in this in this example, British engineering of almost 100 years
- 51:29difference. It's really special.
- 51:31And I'm the big thing I care about is educating the your
- 51:33generation like myself, about these cars like the blue train,
- 51:36because it doesn't really get. Better than the.
- 51:38Blue Train and it's just I mean, it's a sexy, sexy car for so
- 51:42many reasons with with its story too.
- 51:44So shows a little more to your your answer, but I just don't
- 51:47like to tie that in of the vision is the show too is the
- 51:50duality and having it all to help tell that story and fuel
- 51:53that passion for folks like myself.
- 51:56You know those old Bentleys, those 90 year old cars are
- 51:58incredibly tractable on modern roads too.
- 52:01We had five couples from Ireland join us on the Grand last year.
- 52:05They decided cheaper to just, you know, bring the cars into
- 52:08LA, then drive them all the way to Colorado and then drive 1000
- 52:12miles on the Grand. These are all 1930s Bentleys,
- 52:14right? Wow, totally probably put 4000
- 52:17miles on these things in in two weeks, you know, and you know,
- 52:20how many cars from the 30s can you do that in?
- 52:22They're they're, they're wonderful, they're wonderful,
- 52:24they're fast, they're, you know, they're everything you want a
- 52:26car to be like that, a vintage car.
- 52:28But what about you? Will I'm I?
- 52:32Have different flavors of the month.
- 52:33My, my growing up, I was really big into like vintage BMWs and
- 52:37Mercedes-Benz. That's still kind of, you know,
- 52:40what I own, That's what I'm into.
- 52:43You know, my dreams go far beyond my tax bracket.
- 52:46But I I love Vincent Ferrari's like, you know, Colombo V12 aero
- 52:50cars, 250 GT Luso is probably my favorite from that era.
- 52:56As much as I hate to admit it, I do really like air cooled
- 52:59Porsches. I know that's kind of cliche at
- 53:01this point, but with working around them so much, lucky
- 53:04enough to be able to drive a singer and to be around it a lot
- 53:07really kind of made me understand why people are into
- 53:09that stuff. And I also have a real soft side
- 53:12for custom cars. That was my beginning.
- 53:15That was what I started doing and did up until 2020.
- 53:18And so, you know, I love it all. Like, you know, Lindsay, I know
- 53:21like your vintage Bronco. I think the rest of mods, that
- 53:24is really cool. You know, I'm big into 4x4 ING
- 53:27myself, so I like that aspect. You know, I like the JDM stuff.
- 53:31I like low riders. Anything that someone has a lot
- 53:33of time and passion and undoubtedly money into I respect
- 53:38because I I know that that person really, you know, really
- 53:40loves the car. And for me, one of the coolest
- 53:42things is seeing like a car on the road that you're like, wow,
- 53:47someone really kept that 2001 Oldsmobile aero in great
- 53:50condition. And it's just like an
- 53:52interesting story, right? Because this is not a car that
- 53:54should have been saved, but there it is and there.
- 53:56It is, yeah. Yeah, and I think that's really
- 53:59cool. So then when you see that, you
- 54:00know, when you go up with somebody and they're like, yeah,
- 54:01I have my, you know, Shelby GT350 or my old 442 or, you
- 54:07know, something like that. And there's been love and and
- 54:09years of time and maybe it's a a car that was passed down.
- 54:13That's the stuff I love. And I know, again, it sounds
- 54:14cliche, but the the stories behind cars are really what
- 54:16really gets it for me. So it doesn't matter if it's a,
- 54:19you know, $50 million car or if it's a guy who really just loves
- 54:22his Oldsmobile arrow. You know, those are all cool to
- 54:25me. So that's yeah, that's that's
- 54:27really what doesn't. Yeah, yeah.
- 54:29I love that. I know.
- 54:30Well, I mean, that's how we all ended up here, right?
- 54:32As we all are interested in the people like you said and the
- 54:35stories and we're, you know, we're all connected through the
- 54:39Internet and now we know each other in person and you end up
- 54:42with this amazing partnership and Tom and Will and this
- 54:46wonderful event and all because we like cars and driving, right?
- 54:50Yeah. The thing that really sticks out
- 54:53to me, and I think it's, it's, you know, everyone says, and
- 54:57it's kind of become a cliche thing to say, it's not the cars,
- 54:59it's the people. And that's absolutely, it's
- 55:02something I've realized that's a step beyond that and that this
- 55:05was really put into my brain after I went to London.
- 55:08I go to a new city where I know no one and it's on the other
- 55:10side of the world. And within two weeks, I had like
- 55:16good friends already because I met some guys at the Hampton
- 55:19Court Concorde. And within 5 minutes we were
- 55:21somehow talking about the one off Ferrari.
- 55:23This collector in Reno, NV has that.
- 55:26It's a cat. It's APF cab Series 1 250
- 55:31Ferrari and the the first owner got a little cut out in this
- 55:35door for his elbow to rest in. So instead of resting on it, it
- 55:38rested just in this little cut out.
- 55:39And it's a one off because you know that stuff.
- 55:41And we both knew about that car, which I've never talked to
- 55:43anyone else who knows about that car.
- 55:45And the point I'd make here is I'm in college right now and I'm
- 55:50in, you know, a mass of a lot of people, thousands of people.
- 55:53And I, you know, I'm very extra rude.
- 55:54So I love being around people. I love getting to know new
- 55:57people. We in the car community are so
- 56:00lucky to have this community because we have a community like
- 56:04no one else. That's where I see the step
- 56:07beyond. It's just not the cars.
- 56:08That's the people. It's we are blessed to have
- 56:11this. And then you can go across the
- 56:13globe and make a friend like that because of this shared
- 56:16interest. And sure, there's shared
- 56:18interest like sports and different things that you can go
- 56:20anywhere in the world and bond over.
- 56:22I've never seen anything like this with anyone that I know.
- 56:27And this, my friend said this recently and I've been saying
- 56:29it. I think the car hobby is the
- 56:31greatest hobby on earth because if you know, you know of how
- 56:34special it is and how you can bomb with people anywhere on the
- 56:37globe and it's really damn special.
- 56:40It's really cool. It feels like you're living
- 56:42life. I wanted to throw in a little
- 56:44bit of trivia. So I wake up 1 morning, Tom got
- 56:46so ingrained in the UK car scene that I wake up to a photo of Tom
- 56:51and Gordon Murray at the Joe McCarty holiday party.
- 56:55And the caption said, you know who this is and Gordon Ramsay
- 56:59took the photo or is behind the camera or something like that.
- 57:02And I'm. Like no Tom.
- 57:03Where do you go from here? At this place.
- 57:05But Tom, we should we should definitely display that at the
- 57:08show somewhere. You and Gordon Murray at that
- 57:10night or whatever that was. That's very.
- 57:11And then with like a little Photo, Credit Gordon Ramsay.
- 57:14Yeah, Yeah, right, yeah. Was it Gordon Ramsay took the
- 57:16photo or did I? Did I mess up that part of?
- 57:18The story very quickly, because I know we're wrapping up here,
- 57:20but no, no, you know, you just meet people and something
- 57:22happens and another thing happens.
- 57:24I met a guy at Hampton Court as well my first week in September
- 57:27in London and, and you know, we bought it and he was like, oh
- 57:31mate, like you got to come to Uncle Joe's Christmas party and
- 57:34this was in September. But, and that was the second we
- 57:37got to love. It.
- 57:38So I saw him at, I saw him at a few more events throughout the
- 57:41semester. And then, you know, he was like,
- 57:43sure enough, he was like, you know, you're my guest for the
- 57:46party. And so it's like my third to
- 57:48last day in London and I walked into Joe McCarron and been all
- 57:53done up. And I look to my right and the
- 57:55first people I see are Gordon Murray talking to Gordon Ramsay.
- 58:00I was like, OK, that's how the TV is.
- 58:04And so I'd go and meet the guy that I was meeting and he was
- 58:07talking to John Mcginnis's family, the legendary Island man
- 58:13TT, a motorcycle driver, and they were lovely.
- 58:17And so we're talking like, oh, Dad's talking to the Gordon's.
- 58:19And so we all go over there and Gordon or Gordon Ramsay was
- 58:23like, hey, I'm Gordon. And I was like, I know.
- 58:27And then, but I was much more interested.
- 58:29To pretend. Yeah, exactly.
- 58:32But he was a gentleman, He was lovely.
- 58:33And Gordon was standing right there and I was a bit more
- 58:36interested in talking about the car Gordon.
- 58:37And so him and I shadow for probably 15 minutes and, you
- 58:41know, we're all just people at the end of the day.
- 58:42And it's it's a beautiful thing. And he's such a TrueCar guy,
- 58:46right? He just loved talking about his
- 58:48creations and different things and you know, the T50 and how
- 58:51that plays into all those different things.
- 58:53And, you know, pinch me, what the hell that how was that
- 58:56happening? I don't know.
- 58:59And so again, a lot of really special moments that I get to
- 59:01experience through this world, and it's damn cool.
- 59:06That enthusiasm is currency. It really is I.
- 59:08Was going to say that is something that's a like theme in
- 59:12my family is we'll look at each other and go like, how did we
- 59:14get here? Like all these amazing moments
- 59:17and experiences that we've gotten to have and we look at
- 59:19each other and we're like, we're not supposed to be here, but
- 59:22like, don't you know, just go with it and you're going to have
- 59:25these incredible experiences. Absolutely.
- 59:28That's. That's the secret, I think,
- 59:30right. You got a car week and you think
- 59:31you're the only one thinking that, right.
- 59:34And you you know, at least half the people in the room are
- 59:35probably thinking the same thing.
- 59:37And and I love you know that, you know, Gordon Murray or
- 59:40Gordon Ramsay. They don't need anything from
- 59:42you as as wonderful as you are, Tom.
- 59:44I mean, but the fact that, you know, that they did that, I'm
- 59:47always, I'm always just shocked at the, the generosity, right,
- 59:51the willingness to to sit and share because they pick up on
- 59:53your enthusiasm and, you know, you can't fake it, right?
- 59:56And, and thank God for cars for those of us who weren't natural
- 59:59born athletes or whatever. I mean, this was like our, you
- 1:00:02know, what about you guys? But this was, this was, this was
- 1:00:04my guy thing, right? This was the thing that that I
- 1:00:07could, you know, hang my hat on right, at parties and that kind
- 1:00:10of thing. And and of course, now it's
- 1:00:11gotten. To the point, Lindsay.
- 1:00:12We've yeah, we've talked about this.
- 1:00:14It's like if we go to a party and you know they don't pass the
- 1:00:16car test, you move on to the next, you know, the next.
- 1:00:19Whatever. Oh yeah.
- 1:00:20No, always. You're like, love that journey
- 1:00:23for you. This has been delightful.
- 1:00:24I'm gonna. Yeah, so.
- 1:00:26Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I think what's funny too
- 1:00:29is how often, like, there'll be times where, believe it or not,
- 1:00:32I am not trying to bring up cars.
- 1:00:34And it still comes up anyway. And I'm like, I mean, at a
- 1:00:38certain point, you can't fight it because you're like, the cars
- 1:00:41just find you or like, other people will bring it up and then
- 1:00:44you're like, so sorry for them because now I'm going to be, you
- 1:00:48know, super animated. I'm so excited to talk about it.
- 1:00:50But yeah, I mean, it really is like just such an amazing
- 1:00:54community to be part of, like you said, Tom.
- 1:00:56I was just going to say the touch points that non car people
- 1:01:00have too, if their dad owned a Mustang or something.
- 1:01:02And it's like that little thing, that point of connection which
- 1:01:05opens up. I'm the guy who like will
- 1:01:07probably talk to you if you want to talk on an airplane.
- 1:01:10And so, but so many conversations and it always
- 1:01:13starts with cars in some fashion that I've talked to people the
- 1:01:17entirety of a flight to LA and back or New York and back that
- 1:01:21starts with cars and then goes across the journey of life,
- 1:01:24right? There's such an integral part to
- 1:01:25everyone's life. And some people have those just
- 1:01:27slight touch points. Or how a Pagani, the company
- 1:01:32ended up sending a car to the show.
- 1:01:34I will not bore us with that story, but it came from one of
- 1:01:38my advisors at school. I was wearing a Pagani shirt one
- 1:01:40day. She was like, oh, I know someone
- 1:01:42who knows someone who knows someone who knows the CEO of
- 1:01:45Pagani America. Wow.
- 1:01:46Then through this chain of things that happened, he was
- 1:01:49sending a car to the show and it was like, don't know how that's
- 1:01:52happening, but Oh my God. So again, it's like.
- 1:01:55Even the not A part picked up a different shirt.
- 1:01:57Exactly. And so it's, it all plays into
- 1:02:01itself. And again, I think it's because
- 1:02:02there's such an integral part of our our world.
- 1:02:04It's how we get around so. Yeah, I.
- 1:02:07Agree. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:02:09Both of you guys, you know, there aren't too many people
- 1:02:11that really find, you know their place in life, right, like end
- 1:02:14up doing the thing that was designed just for them.
- 1:02:17And I feel like both of you have have found that.
- 1:02:19So hope you both realize how how fortunate you are.
- 1:02:22It's pretty cool. Absolutely.
- 1:02:24Thank you. I think so.
- 1:02:25I mean, I thank God everyday. I'm not a religious person, but
- 1:02:28I'm just like, you know what, this kind of just worked out and
- 1:02:31I don't know, I don't know what else I'd be doing.
- 1:02:33And I guess that's kind of when you realize that you found your,
- 1:02:36your calling in certain ways, right?
- 1:02:38But like Tom said, they're. Great.
- 1:02:40And we're like you said, Lindsay, cars are magnetic, I
- 1:02:42mean figuratively and literally, but people definitely like to
- 1:02:45discuss them. It brings people together and
- 1:02:48you know, I'm sure we've all talked to people that you're
- 1:02:50like, wow, it's, you know, it's so, and so this big, famous,
- 1:02:53rich, powerful person, you sit down and talk with them and they
- 1:02:56just want to tell you about their car, right?
- 1:02:58They just want to ask you about your car.
- 1:02:59And it's just, they're just a guy or, or a woman.
- 1:03:02And you know, you, once you start to realize that and you
- 1:03:04realize that these things are just hunks of, you know, metal
- 1:03:07and glass and rubber and plastic that we love so much.
- 1:03:10But it goes far beyond that. It's not just a physical item
- 1:03:13anymore. It's a, it's a state of mind.
- 1:03:15It's an expression of yourself. It's a lifestyle, violence, all
- 1:03:18these things. And, you know, if we can choose
- 1:03:20to embody that in, you know, our show and beyond, I think that
- 1:03:23we're doing a good thing. Oh, awesome.
- 1:03:26Well, I'm so I'm so excited for both of you with what you've
- 1:03:30built, what you've done so far, and what you're going to
- 1:03:32accomplish in a few weeks. So tell people if they want to
- 1:03:36learn more about the show or if they want to join you, where can
- 1:03:39they find information about the event?
- 1:03:40And then where can they find the two of you online?
- 1:03:43Yeah. So and then this is something I
- 1:03:45guess I was going to speak a little more on, but didn't have
- 1:03:47like kind of hold breath of everything they have come in.
- 1:03:49Well, you got to come back. You got to come back.
- 1:03:51So as Will mentioned, we have these kind of curated displays
- 1:03:55that fit these different car cultures out of my brain.
- 1:03:57So it's my interpretation and with what I could get.
- 1:04:00And so as we'll mention this part of one of the displays,
- 1:04:04we're assembling the Ferrari BIG6, which to our knowledge has
- 1:04:07only been done twice in the country as of yet.
- 1:04:09So we're going to have one of the newest F 80s delivered all
- 1:04:12the way down to the 288 GTO. So 6 of Ferrari's best hyper
- 1:04:15cars. Like I mentioned, we're going to
- 1:04:17have the Bentley Blue train, we're going to have the Aspirin
- 1:04:21factory AM RLMH, which is the second time to my knowledge it's
- 1:04:24ever been to a show and it's life as well as a road car
- 1:04:27Valkyrie, which those both Valkyries never been shown.
- 1:04:30But alone 2 in Seattle, we'll have an Aston Martin Valhalla,
- 1:04:33the first one that was delivered here.
- 1:04:35We'll have the Holy Trinity assembled technically of we also
- 1:04:38have AP one and a 918 coming. We might have a few McLaren
- 1:04:42Senna's. We'll have a Gordon Murray T50.
- 1:04:45We have two Konigs eggs coming up from California.
- 1:04:48We have a Pagani coming up, Ford sending out a really special
- 1:04:51concept from Detroit and a lot more.
- 1:04:54So it's going to be fun. It's going to be worth the
- 1:04:58money, I think, and hopefully my time that I work my freaking ass
- 1:05:02off for. And so you can find all this
- 1:05:06information on the show and tickets at just Northwest
- 1:05:09exoticspelledout.com ticket links in there on Instagram.
- 1:05:15I couldn't get the Northwest Exotics username, so it's NW
- 1:05:18Exotics Car Show. And then that's where you can
- 1:05:21probably just find me this through the e-mail on there and
- 1:05:26we'll I'll let you speak for yourself.
- 1:05:28But yeah, the show's from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Carillon Point
- 1:05:31on August 23rd, 2026. Be there.
- 1:05:35There you go. I'm not a huge social media guy,
- 1:05:38but as Lindsay and Ryan mentioned, I work for one
- 1:05:40Drivers Club, which is a four location multi national, I'm
- 1:05:45sorry, multi unit national company and we store cars.
- 1:05:49And so again, give us a look one drivers club.com and if you can
- 1:05:53meet, you can find ammo on there.
- 1:05:56Perfect. Well, thank you both so much for
- 1:05:58being here. We look forward to having you
- 1:06:00come back and share how this year's event goes.
- 1:06:04And for our audience, thank you so much for liking, writing,
- 1:06:06reviewing, and of course leading five star reviews.
- 1:06:09We are so appreciative of everybody being here.
- 1:06:14Remember, always be driving where that car show and we'll
- 1:06:16see you next week.
