- 0:00Speaker 1: This is John Jane Rich. We are looking to just
- 0:04Speaker 1: freely give away $ 1, 000. It's so easy to win. Is
- 0:07Speaker 1: it not, Peyton?
- 0:08Speaker 2: Oh, so easy-ish. I mean, until the pressure gets to you.
- 0:11Speaker 1: We call it minutes to win it. We are looking
- 0:13Speaker 1: for a phone caller right now. A contestant, 877-937-1047 is
- 0:15Speaker 1: our phone number. This could be you. But until then,
- 0:17Speaker 1: we are... Interested in new music. What's going on with
- 0:25Speaker 1: new music today?
- 0:26Speaker 2: Well, Taylor Swift, she has officially dropped the life of
- 0:29Speaker 2: a showgirl, the encore. So there is four new brand
- 0:33Speaker 2: new tracks. Patient Zero is one that she's been teasing.
- 0:36Speaker 2: That is the one that she has posted kind of
- 0:39Speaker 2: the teaser music video.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Playing it all morning.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that we're going to be able to see the
- 0:43Speaker 2: actual full music video on Sunday at the VMA starring
- 0:46Speaker 2: Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell. But we have been playing
- 0:49Speaker 2: it all morning, but here's a little clip. But if
- 0:50Speaker 2: you want.
- 0:51Speaker 3: To party with somebody who might know about the devil
- 0:57Speaker 3: on his shoulder under his halo. Okay.
- 1:13Speaker 4: So Swifties have like, But like, is this about Joe Jonas?
- 1:17Speaker 4: Because Sophie Turner dated Joe Jonas afterwards and they're very
- 1:20Speaker 4: good friends. And this is a song about the phone
- 1:24Speaker 4: call she got from Sophie when things were not going
- 1:27Speaker 4: well between her and Joe Jonas.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't even get that deep.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's one.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Of the fan theories of what this song could possibly
- 1:33Speaker 4: be about.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Exactly, because kind of that line where she says devil
- 1:37Speaker 2: under his halo is kind of like giving the vibe
- 1:40Speaker 2: of this man is stealing the shine of the women
- 1:42Speaker 2: around him. So yeah, they're definitely... speculating Joe Jonas and
- 1:46Speaker 2: Sophie Turner. So we will, I mean, we'll never know,
- 1:49Speaker 2: but it's always fun to speculate.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:51Speaker 4: What I love about the teaser for the music video
- 1:54Speaker 4: that she dropped for patient zero is it's exactly 13 seconds.
- 1:59Speaker 2: That alone is so Taylor Swift.
- 2:01Speaker 4: But in just 13 seconds, Swifties have already broken down
- 2:06Speaker 4: so many little details in that teaser. So you've got
- 2:11Speaker 4: Taylor Swift and Dakota Johnson, and they are dressed to
- 2:13Speaker 4: the T.
- 2:14Speaker 2: They look exactly the same.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Some are saying it's maybe symbolizing two different versions of Swifties.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Of the same person.
- 2:20Speaker 4: And then in that teaser, you see Taylor Swift washing
- 2:24Speaker 4: her hands in the bathroom.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You see her trying to cleanse herself.
- 2:27Speaker 4: There's like two swimmers that dive across each other and
- 2:30Speaker 4: they're saying that that is like cleansing yourself of the
- 2:33Speaker 4: old you and like a rebirth type situation. Then a
- 2:36Speaker 4: lot of Swifties were breaking down the imagery that was
- 2:39Speaker 4: shown at the graveyard. There's two different graveyard images. There's
- 2:43Speaker 4: one that's really snowy and a lot of people really
- 2:46Speaker 4: dug into this picture On the grave, you can actually
- 2:49Speaker 4: somewhat read something daughter and gone too soon. The whole
- 2:55Speaker 4: imagery kind of looks like a look what you made
- 2:56Speaker 4: me do callback, which some people are excited about because
- 2:59Speaker 4: like everyone's waiting for that reputation. We don't know if
- 3:03Speaker 4: that means he's going to rerecord the songs. But on
- 3:05Speaker 4: the grave is the date 1986 to 2022. And so
- 3:10Speaker 4: everyone's like, okay, well, obviously we know Taylor Swift was
- 3:12Speaker 4: born in 1986 and 2022 was the Midnight's era. So
- 3:16Speaker 4: the biggest theory we're seeing about that is that that
- 3:19Speaker 4: grave is the old version of Taylor and she is
- 3:20Speaker 4: putting that to rest because she is now moving onward
- 3:24Speaker 4: and upward. A lot of people are wondering, okay, what's
- 3:26Speaker 4: the significance of Colin Farrell in the music video? Well,
- 3:31Speaker 4: he was friends with Elizabeth Taylor. You know, she's got
- 3:32Speaker 4: a song called Elizabeth Taylor. There's the connection. Oh. Do
- 3:36Speaker 4: you remember in the Emmy sketch, she looked at the
- 3:39Speaker 4: camera and she said, saccharides, Aries, like all these different words. Well,
- 3:43Speaker 4: people have already broken down in just that 13 second
- 3:45Speaker 4: teaser what those were. She said North and South. And
- 3:49Speaker 4: if you look at the map of America, it's North
- 3:50Speaker 4: and South Dakota.
- 3:51Speaker 2: There's Dakota Johnson.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Saccharides was hinting towards Colin Farrell because his Apple TV
- 3:57Speaker 4: show is called Sugar.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that is insane.
- 4:03Speaker 4: There's an image in the music video where it looks
- 4:06Speaker 4: as if it's Dakota Johnson and Taylor Swift standing next
- 4:09Speaker 4: to a statue and they're saying that statue is Aries.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Which was in there as well. I was like, there
- 4:16Speaker 4: are so many things that have already been broken down.
- 4:17Speaker 4: I can't imagine all of the Swifty homework that's going
- 4:21Speaker 4: to be done Sunday night when we see the whole thing.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 4:23Speaker 2: But there wasn't much homework that had to be done
- 4:26Speaker 2: when Taylor Swift, when she dropped a song called Cleveland.
- 4:41Speaker 5: He already took me to Cleveland And showed me the
- 4:45Speaker 5: heights So.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Hate all you like This is the love of.
- 4:52Speaker 1: My life Hey, hey, hey Oh, that's cute.
- 4:56Speaker 2: So cute. And obviously about her new hubby, Travis Kelsey.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I know.
- 5:00Speaker 4: And a lot of the song talks about, like, all
- 5:01Speaker 4: the crap people have said about her. And she's like,
- 5:04Speaker 4: but he likes me anyway. Like, he likes me for me.
- 5:07Speaker 4: And so, you know, kick rocks.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Like, who cares? Yeah, because I know that there's been
- 5:12Speaker 2: a lot of speculation that, like, Travis Kelsey, that Taylor
- 5:15Speaker 2: Swift was never really ever his type, per se. But
- 5:18Speaker 2: at the end of the day, like, if you like
- 5:19Speaker 2: someone or you love someone, your type can change. So
- 5:22Speaker 2: I'm fine with that. And I love that she's like,
- 5:24Speaker 2: now I'm wearing white, so hate all you like. Like,
- 5:26Speaker 2: who cares? I'm the one that has the ring on
- 5:28Speaker 2: my finger, and that's that.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I love it.
- 5:31Speaker 2: That song is so cute and catchy. Yeah, definitely. This
- 5:34Speaker 2: one's called Pink Cloudy.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Not really like a musical departure for her from some
- 5:56Speaker 1: of her style. I kind of get why they weren't
- 5:58Speaker 1: on the real album. But it's kind of cool. It
- 6:01Speaker 1: is the real album.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I'm like, this is the encore.
- 6:03Speaker 1: No, no, no. She saved the best for last. She
- 6:06Speaker 1: even said it in her music video. Maybe they weren't like,
- 6:09Speaker 1: you know, on the first round. But it's enjoyable. It's like, yeah,
- 6:12Speaker 1: thanks for putting them out because they're good songs.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Fans actually think that that song is a Tom Hiddleston
- 6:18Speaker 4: apology letter.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Basically a follow-up to Getaway Car, basically saying like, yeah,
- 6:22Speaker 4: she probably jumped into something when she was already emotionally wrecked.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Right. Yeah, I've seen where it's just like, She feels
- 6:28Speaker 2: like maybe she mistreated someone in this situation. But I
- 6:31Speaker 2: saw also a little bit of Joe Alwyn in the speculation.
- 6:34Speaker 1: There is, like, debate.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Like, is it Joe Alwyn or is it Tom Hiddleston?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, we don't know. We're never going to know.
- 6:41Speaker 4: And I feel like the Swifties don't like Joe Alwyn,
- 6:43Speaker 4: so they're going Tom Hiddleston.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Yeah, sure.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Say sorry to him.
- 6:45Speaker 2: We're okay with that. 100%. And then to kind of
- 6:48Speaker 2: wrap it up, she dropped Babylon.
- 6:51Speaker 5: She'll wake up on the train with your headphones gone.
- 6:54Speaker 5: And that melody is all you want. You never knew
- 6:59Speaker 5: that it was Bible.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Till it was gone. This is my favorite of the
- 7:05Speaker 1: new songs.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Definitely a lot more nostalgic. It's kind of just a
- 7:08Speaker 2: reflection of her leaving her smaller town and her, you know,
- 7:12Speaker 2: older relationships and just moving forward.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I think people are like saying it's it's kind
- 7:16Speaker 4: of one of those, you know, how Taylor Swift likes
- 7:19Speaker 4: to write stories as well. And they think that this
- 7:21Speaker 4: one's a story about someone who's always chasing freedom and
- 7:24Speaker 4: chasing the next best thing and then realizing like, oh,
- 7:26Speaker 4: it's like my family was it all along.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I truly love how Taylor just keeps us all
- 7:30Speaker 2: on our toes. So the songs that she dropped was
- 7:32Speaker 2: Patient Zero, Cleveland, Pink Clouding and Babylon.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Let's try to give away some money.
- 7:37Speaker 4: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Cash for you from Peoria Ford right now.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Minute to win it. Okay, Adrienne, you are up. It
- 7:46Speaker 1: is your time for Minute to Win It. What are
- 7:47Speaker 1: you doing right now?
- 7:49Speaker 2: I'm on my way to work, hoping to win it.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yay! Okay, you've got 60 seconds on the clock. You
- 7:54Speaker 1: get all 10 totally right, and you win $ 1, 000 of
- 7:58Speaker 1: Pat Hickey's money from Peoria Ford. Let's go. What HBO
- 8:02Speaker 1: drama series follows New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Sopranos.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Link is the hero of what video game series?
- 8:15Speaker 2: Link is.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Oh, shoot. Pass.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I'll go back to that one. You can't go back.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Got to answer it. Okay.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Link... Link.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Dang, I'm drawing a blank.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Might as well take a guess at a big video game.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It's a big one.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I know it.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Run it out of time.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Dragon Ball.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Whatever. Dragon Ball.
- 8:53Speaker 4: It's going to be wrong. At least you threw one
- 8:56Speaker 4: out there, though. I believe it's The Legend of Zelda.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Legend of Zelda is correct.
- 9:01Speaker 2: That's it.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Yep.
- 9:02Speaker 4: No, you said it.
- 9:03Speaker 2: That was such a bummer. I know. Isn't that the
- 9:06Speaker 2: worst when you're like, I have that information in my brain.
- 9:09Speaker 2: It's just not giving me access to it.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Sorry about that.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I log random things in my head all the time
- 9:15Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, I'm ready for this. But when
- 9:17Speaker 2: you're on it and then it's just the pressure of
- 9:19Speaker 2: being like staring at a wall.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Well, you don't leave empty handed. So that's good. We're
- 9:24Speaker 1: going to set you up with some Del Taco because
- 9:25Speaker 1: we love you so much.
- 9:27Speaker 5: Oh, awesome, thank you
