Cork County Council has officially greenlit a major new pedestrian and cycle bridge linking Little Island train station to Eastgate Business Park, with engineering giant Arup taking charge of design and construction for a €10M+ project. Set to slash dangerous commutes across the N25 and railway line, the 460-meter span will offer five-meter-wide paths for walkers and cyclists, plus upgraded green spaces and tree planting.
