It should just take you a few minutes. and we are so thankful for you sharing this, the mission of this podcast. it's gonna be it's gonna be a big one. you know, as as we kind of transition into this and why we're talking about this today, This is a heavy episode on my heart today. I have recently been walking with a friend through miscarriage, ⁓ a really close friend. And I have been going through all of the phases her. ⁓ I have you know, I showed up on her doorstep with lasagna, you know, day that she found out that she'd lost her baby. ⁓ And ⁓ just sat and cried and talked and I got to be with her in the know, during the loss itself and helping support her in that. and I am going ⁓ to a funeral to ⁓ just commemorate this sweet child with them. So my heart has been heavy with my friends' loss ⁓ and ⁓ it's definitely been making me of relive my losses that went through as well. So It's been a heavy and a hard time. And so I'm thinking of my friend as I as I record this episode and I'm thinking of what she's gonna be going ⁓ in her healing journey. And I know that if you have also recently dealt with a or many losses, I know this is right you're at too. So So one of the things I know is very relevant after a loss is seeing other people's pregnancy announcements or even just being around other people who pregnant. that is one of the hardest things ⁓ to to go through ⁓ after you've through, you know, the finding out and the through the loss and the the grieving and the mourning. And then all of a sudden it's like everybody else around you is pregnant and you're not. And it feels it feels awful. And so I totally how feels. I been there. was my golly, was it was when we were going through all our losses. It was after our 15 week loss. ⁓ and even before that, I was in this Bible study when I was pregnant with my daughter Hannah. And ⁓ I had a friend in my Bible study who was pregnant at the same time. ⁓ And ⁓ then Christmas kind of came, December came and that's when I lost her. And then we went back to the Bible study and it was in January. she was showing and she was still pregnant. And I wasn't. ⁓ baby was gone. My baby was dead. And and was alive and her bump was round ⁓ and And my was flat and squishy and empty. ⁓ And that was so hard. It was so hard. So ⁓ this episode, it's not gonna be an easy one. I wrote my notes for it last week and I was just reading through them before recording today and I got teared, teared, I teared up just reading my notes for this episode. So we're let me just pray. Let me just pray. Lord Jesus, we just come before you. God, this is so hard. ⁓ And we praise you that in Psalm 34, 18, you tell us, Lord, that you are near to the brokenhearted. And that you save those who are crushed in spirit. And ⁓ God, would you please be near to my sister? Would you save her as she is so crushed in spirit, Lord? Would you give her a peace that surpasses understanding? Would that peace guard her heart and her mind in Christ Jesus our Lord? Would you rid her of fear and worry and anguish and anxiety? Would you sit with her when it seems like she is A hundred feet deep in the ocean and nothing can free her. God, would you just be with her? And would you take her out of that pit, Lord, in your time and in your way? And would you just sit with her? until then, until you do. Lord, I just pray that you would speak through me now to ⁓ that she would be seen and she would be known by you and loved by you. ⁓ in Jesus' name, Amen. Okay. So, So I'm just gonna kind of go through my notes here. Okay. So is a little bit of a, ⁓ don't, I don't know how you would call it. ⁓ it's more more of my writing, so I don't know how it'll go with me speaking the words that I have written. But when you go through a loss and then you're around others who are pregnant, it's kind of like watching others who are redeemed and resurrected before you, and you're not. It's like watching someone hold and keep a precious gift that you both were given, but yours was taken away for no reason, and it feels unjust, unfair, and wrong. And it's hard to not be jealous and to not feel resentment towards that person who got to keep the gift when you didn't. It's like watching someone hold and keep a precious gift that you both were given, but yours was taken away for no reason, and it feels unjust, unfair, and wrong. And it's hard to not be jealous and to not feel resentment towards that person who got to keep the gift when you didn't. This person received a gift of moving and breathing and living life, you received a gift of loss and and deep The former, the one who received the gift of living life, will sanctify them in the long days and many years of raising up their life to prayerfully become a disciple of Christ and to further his kingdom. But for you, your gift is more like a sanctification by fire, and it burns hot and intense a short period of time. It knocks you down to your knees to release the life back to God for his safekeeping in heaven, gracing you with the opportunity to suffer in anguish, like how Christ did in his crucifixion. And in all of this, ⁓ You will learn how to submit to God's will and trust in His plan. This type of gift that you have received, though it's more painful and dreadful, it certainly bestows upon you an opportunity to sit with your Savior in such a closer way that you would have not experienced if you had not gone through this. It's like being on a sports team in college or perhaps being in the military among cadres and the crazy hard things you did with your teammates and with your with your friends, it drew you closer together in such a way that no companionship could be like the one that you had with all of that hard suffering that you went through together. And this is what your suffering of your loss of your baby does for you with your relationship with Christ. It draws you closer to Him than ever possible than if you had not suffered in this way. So when you look upon your friends who have received a blessed gift of living, moving, breathing life, we must bless them in our hearts and pray for them. That their gift that they've been given will continue to be one of breathing and heartbeating and living joy. And at the same time, May we look down at our empty wombs bless God for our suffering as it draws us nearer to Him than ever imaginable. Let us trust in His will, in His timing, in His healing, in His answers, in knowing that He would bring resurrected life into our wombs for His glory. And that is what I have written for you guys today. It's not an easy button answer. It's one of seeing the different gifts that we are given than our friends. my I I just make a tiny suggestion, of course, as we're doing this giveaway. And I'm like, come into our Facebook group and and share. ⁓ I'm gonna tell you, maybe you should get off Facebook, maybe you should get off Instagram and off social media, because it's an unnatural bombardment. ⁓ of false community. That's not real. It's not real for us to think we have 200 friends all the time surrounding us or 500 or a thousand people. It's it's not real. It's not real to constantly see announcement after pregnancy announcement by scrolling on these social media pages. It's real life because we're not seeing it in person. It's one thing to deal with when our friend is pregnant and know them ⁓ and maybe we'll see them at or maybe we're in a Bible study group with them ⁓ or ⁓ you know, maybe they're part some some other piece of our lives. So it's one thing to deal with that and to to bless them in that and to see ourselves as blessed in the sorrow that we're dealing with, but it's a whole other thing to allow the door. ⁓ Of our phone or computer to be opened up and to be vulnerable for whatever the algorithms decide we should see. And that's not real. So, sister, as I encourage you to participate in my contest, maybe you should just send me an email and get off social media and send me an email with your review and your shares or whatever. but truly, that's something I really want you to think about. And ⁓ maybe I don't want you to just think about it, maybe I want you to do it. ⁓ I want you to pray about doing it, talk with your husband about it, and just do it. Get rid of safari on your phone. Get rid of any social media apps on your phone. any anything that's triggering that's not necessary, right? You're gonna deal with triggers. You're gonna deal with people who are literally physically pregnant around you. ⁓ so you're gonna have to deal with that and and bless them and remember that you are blessed in a very different way. And you can do it. and maybe you should get rid of anything that's not necessary to add to the difficulty of this healing part of your journey after a loss. So so those are my words ⁓ of encouragement for you today. I and I know it's not easy. ⁓ I know this is really, really hard. but are so blessed. you are so worthy to receive this kind of suffering. My friend, if I had never gone through my losses, I would never, never be speaking to you. I would never have come out with 75,000 people downloading my podcast and and hearing these words of encouragement of my suffering and my sorrow. hard. It's hard, but God has been so glorified in it. And my prayer, Lord Jesus, is would you be glorified in my sister's loss too? Would you be glorified? It doesn't matter if If you touch one person, if you encourage one person who will also be going through this, it's all worth it. If God can use you to bless one person, and if you can be sanctified through this to become more like Christ and to become closer with him than you ever had before, and understanding his sorrow and his anguish and his suffering in a way you never had before going through this, blessed are you. And the Lord is with you. He is near to you. And he will never leave you nor forsake you. okay, that's a that's a hard episode. So let's just kind of close with a reminder. You know, please leave a review on the podcast, share, share this episode, share the podcast with a friend, screenshot it, put it in our Facebook group, ⁓ or send me an email, fertility setfree at gmail.com. And ⁓ you know, maybe if you've been going through this, fertility framework is what you need. ⁓ That is the program that basically be was my healing journey. I put it into a program for you where you can get everything that I learned in a really organized, highly educational and God led manner. And get the one on one support from me in our group coaching calls that we have in the program. So this could be a beautiful way for you to receive that gift at a huge discount. ⁓ so make sure you participate. It ends tomorrow. ⁓ and let me just pray over you. Lord Jesus, we just come before you. ⁓ God, there's nothing that I can say or do to remove this hard, this thing in my sister's life. but Lord, I could just sit with her and I could just be with her. And I know that that's ⁓ enough. And so, Lord, I pray that you just help her to know that she is not alone and that you are with her, and that there is sisters like me and others who are with her who have been through this hard thing. And you would bring her comfort in that, and you would help her to get through each day with some kind of joy and contentment and peace and patience, Lord. I pray that you would bring her healing and answers and knowledge and restoration, Lord, and that the next life that you give, Lord Jesus, we pray you would sustain in a full term pregnancy and a healthy birth and delivery and postpartum, Lord. I ask this in the holy, powerful, mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
