- 0:01This is HBr News number four oh four, Burning Vam, Proud Boys prosecuted.
- 0:07F's in the chat for Vice Media where we discussed the stories of the

- 0:18Honey Badge or Radio. I hope you guys are enjoying your day so far,
- 0:22whatever wherever you may be. And this is the new show. I'm
- 0:27my name is Brian. I'm joined by my lovely co hosts Hannah Mike and
- 0:32doctor Randmercam. On today's show, we're gonna be discussing the up and updates
- 0:38regarding the Epstein calendar which was released last week Vice and also, just as
- 0:46a side note, BuzzFeed appear to be going under the Proud Boys are charged
- 0:52with seditious conspiracy and more so, tune in it's going to be a good
- 0:56time and be sure to join us afterwards for the patron only show. So
- 1:00on this week's I saw this interesting article from Fox News, but it was
- 1:07also in other places too, so if you don't like Fox, it's okay,
- 1:11you can find the story somewhere else. Same story, apparently, Evangeline
- 1:15Lilly, who is the actress most I think known for playing like the Wasp
- 1:22in the Marvel movies. But she was also in the Hobbit trilogy playing an
- 1:26elf named Terry Ill or Taureel or something like that. Not really sure.
- 1:32Anyway, she has come out and this is like not easy for anyone in
- 1:37this business to do, and said that society is villainizing masculinity and applauding femininity
- 1:44in men. So we'll take a look and see what she has to say.
- 1:49This could be I think career suicide, but maybe she doesn't care.
- 1:53Maybe she's made her money and she's moving on. So if you guys want
- 1:59to join us in the Patron Show to talk about this, please consider becoming
- 2:04a Badger by going to feed the Badger dot com and sending up a monthly
- 2:07subscription. Five bucks a month will get you into our discord and we'll get
- 2:09you access to all of our additional shows and you'll get emails and you know,
- 2:14only if you want them, and h yeah, it's a it's a
- 2:17good place to come hang out. So please consider becoming a member by going
- 2:21to feed the Badger dot com and signing up. And if you want to
- 2:27make sure that our content remains like accessible to you in case, we get
- 2:31yeeded from the mainstream Internet, which starting to look like it could happen.
- 2:36We're we're getting really strange um messages from you know, YouTube headquarters, the
- 2:44Guild of Calamitous Intent that runs YouTube, and they're basically like saying that we're
- 2:51in even in our patron shows, which are normally relatively private. I guess
- 2:57where we might be getting in trouble for stuff that we're saying there. So
- 3:00I don't know how long we'll be on YouTube, but maybe go to Honey
- 3:05Badger Radio dot com or badger Feed dot com and you'll see where all of
- 3:10our content lives. We have audio podcasts as well as the video and you
- 3:15could also you should probably also follow us on Twitter at Honey Badger Bite because
- 3:21we stream live there as well, and I feel like Twitter is probably gonna
- 3:23be one of the safest places like that and rumble, So just something to
- 3:29consider anyway, So thank you guys so much for that. Please hit that
- 3:35like button. It really helps us out. I see we have seven likes
- 3:38and there's more than twenty people watching, so maybe like smash like and it'll
- 3:43help us get a little bit more reach. All right, So with all
- 3:45that out, of the way. Let us now get into today's stories.
- 3:52So first we're gonna talk about Jeffrey Epstein. So let's start with that,
- 3:58because we did start this conversation. So we're gonna finish it. We're gonna
- 4:00see it through. So documents obtained by The Wall Street Journal show meetings between
- 4:05Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein, the financier you guys might have heard of him,
- 4:10I don't know, and several prominent people. The new lists show the pedophile
- 4:15met with CIA chief former White House consul after his child sex crime conviction.
- 4:21William Burns, a director of the Central Intelligence Agency, allegedly met with Epstein
- 4:27when he was the Deputy Secretary of State in twenty fourteen. The documents also
- 4:31show gnam Chomsky, who I used to like, but I was really young
- 4:35and naive then. The author, activist and professor was also scheduled to fly
- 4:41with Epstein and have dinner in his Manhattan home in twenty fifteen. According to
- 4:46The New York Post, Chomsky said he wanted to discuss political and academic subjects
- 4:49with the well connected financier Catherine Rummeler Rumler, who served as White House counsel
- 4:58under President Barack Obama met with Epstein dozens of times in the years between her
- 5:02White House career and her next job as an attorney at Goldman Sachs. The
- 5:06report said some on the list said that they thought he had been rehabilitated.
- 5:12Most of the people included in the thousands of pages of emails, thousands of
- 5:15pages and schedules from twenty thirteen to twenty seventeen told the journal that they met
- 5:21with Epstein because of his wealth and connections. Epstein also met with Arianne de
- 5:28Rothschild, chief executive of the Swiss private bank Edmund d Rothschild Group, and
- 5:32Joshua Cooper Ramo Hope, I'm not butchering that former co chief executive of Henry
- 5:39Kissinger's corporate consulting firm. Yeah, all we got for thousands of faces.
- 5:46Yeah, nobody ever meets with like the creepy guy that hangs out in an
- 5:53alley right and watches kids at the park, or some schoolteacher that aped or
- 6:00students, and you know, nobody meets with those guys after they've been convicted
- 6:04because they think they've been rehabilitated. Nobody, nobody meets with you know,
- 6:10missus Robinson to discuss matters of education because they think, oh, well,
- 6:16you know, it's been what a year, a couple of years, she's
- 6:23all better now, she's not a pedophile anymore. Like no, no,
- 6:29um, I'm not buying this bullshit. And it's not like the guy is
- 6:34the only financier in the world, right, So either either these people are
- 6:44all meeting with him because of his connections, which is still suspect because anybody
- 6:55that was connected to him while he was a criminal is suspect, and I
- 6:59mean they were connected to him while he was a criminal, or they're meeting
- 7:03him because he's a pedophile. Yeah, yeah, it's it's it's all a
- 7:09bit of a damp squib, really, isn't it. It's certainly not the
- 7:14world changing dirt we were looking for. It's mostly a bunch of unknowns we've
- 7:18got. We've got a former CIA chief of former White House staff of,
- 7:25former consulting executive, and a Banckett presumably a former Bancket. None of them
- 7:31are going to face any consequences, let alone get arrested. They're all already
- 7:38retired from whatever position of responsibility they ever had, so they're not even going
- 7:42to get fired or canceled as we call it non Chomsky is practically dead at
- 7:48this point. He's looking like an act. He's looking like an actual gnome.
- 7:54Yeah, a garden gnome one one that's been lying in a ditch getting
- 7:57eaten by worms for a hundred years. So these he's not much of a
- 8:01threat anymore. Dude can barely speak. It is interesting that two Obama officials
- 8:05met with him during the Obama administration. They were not retired or out of
- 8:11their positions when they met with him their former now when we're reporting it,
- 8:18but at the time of the meeting, they were current. Well, I
- 8:22mean I think I don't think they're telling us. I mean, obviously they're
- 8:26not telling us. Everybody on the list, No, No, is there
- 8:30picking some chum to throw in the water, that's all yea, yeah,
- 8:33it's it's it's pretty obvious that we're only being shown the tip of the iceberg.
- 8:37We don't want these randos. We want Bill Gates, we want the
- 8:41Clintons. You want the people who are still affecting the world and are still
- 8:46being listened to. We want to hold you want to hold a shadow over
- 8:50their legacies so we can get it through to the normies of the world.
- 8:54That these assholes are never to be trusted by anyone ever again, and not
- 9:00just because of the ties to the nonsing. Maybe they weren't even involved in
- 9:03the nonsing Bill Clinton probably was. It wouldn't surprise me at least. But
- 9:09I think I do, you know, I think what Epstein did a lot
- 9:13of the time was invite people onto his boat and onto his island, perhaps
- 9:18genuinely, to talk about just, you know, shady financial dealings. And
- 9:22then he pulled out the underage sex slaves and went, surprise, surprise,
- 9:30You're on candid camera right in the heart of pedophile ring. So you'd better
- 9:33do what I say, or this ship is getting leaked to the public.
- 9:37And he did it over and over again, and hey, presto, he's
- 9:41got countless billionaires in his pocket, along with the media conglomerates they control.
- 9:46That's why he got away with it for so long. That's why the media
- 9:50never talked about it, and that's why he got quote unquote suicide. But
- 9:54yeah, like I said, whether or not these corrupt billionaires actively part disipated
- 10:00in the nonsing is not even the point. The shady financial deals are the
- 10:05point. Whatever they were, whatever they were, they were probably even more
- 10:09illegal than the nonsing. According to the courts, there was nonsing going on,
- 10:16because that's what Maxwell was charged with. But you've always got to ask
- 10:20yourself, what aren't we're being told? Is that there's always something and it's
- 10:26always even worse than whatever we are being told, and we're probably we're probably
- 10:30never going to find out. We like to think the truth always wins,
- 10:33that the truth always comes out, but it obviously doesn't. The best we
- 10:37can feasibly hope for is that the history books draw a suspicious question mark over
- 10:43the legacies of Bill Gates and the Clintons rather than a spotless, glowing review
- 10:48of their perfect altruistic philanthropy and nothing else. I mean, I'm not confident,
- 10:52so I'm going to keep shaking my fist anyway in vain. I'm sure
- 10:56about whatever. Let me remind you something that is related to that. The
- 11:01US Senate and Congress had a slush fund that was when um, ah shit,
- 11:11I can't think of his name. I always all I can think of
- 11:13is Stewart Smalley. Every time I I, um, it's al shit,
- 11:22that's not his name anyway. Um, he was a congressman got got ousted
- 11:28for taking a stupid funny picture, um, with his hands not touching a
- 11:33woman. Al Franken, thank you? Um when when he got ousted,
- 11:41uh for for taking a stupid funny picture with his hands, a picture of
- 11:45him not touching a woman. Um. I just I just have to point
- 11:48that out, because what the fuck? Like they have a slush fund.
- 11:54They have a slush fund to pay off interns and other employees who alleged sexual
- 12:01misconduct against people within the congressional offices. Now, who do you think that's
- 12:09for? Who do you think that's to protect? Like, a's not to
- 12:11cover my ass, It's not to cover your ass. It's not to protect
- 12:16the interns. Right, So they had a whole fund set aside. They
- 12:24have this happened so much that they had a whole ass fund set aside to
- 12:31pay off accusers who are usually in their early twenties and some of them in
- 12:39their late teens. Interns at in Congress and in the Senate and in the
- 12:46White House are young people. They're not fifty, they're twenty, they're nineteen
- 12:54twenty one. You know what was Monica Winsky is like twenty three years old?
- 13:01Like really young people, and that's who that was for. That's who
- 13:09that was to pay off. So if you think that there's nobody in power
- 13:18involved in this Epstein thing, think again, Right, that's because that's bologny.
- 13:26Um. Why why would they need a whole ass fund set aside to
- 13:31pay off accusers? Why they had to sit down and vote on that,
- 13:39So that wasn't something that, oh gosh, we just accidentally created a a
- 13:43petal slush fund for for those who have teenagers in their office, and a
- 13:48and a sexual harass or slush fund for those who just have adults in their
- 13:52office. Um like huh no, right, Like that's they knew this behavior
- 14:00was happening, and it was happening enough, and it was happening long enough,
- 14:05and it was bad enough and threatening to become public enough that they created
- 14:11a cover your ass fund and that fund, that fund has been there,
- 14:20you know, until until they decided to kick some guy out of Congress for
- 14:26not touching a woman in public. Yep, Jojo thought, Um, I'm
- 14:35curious about the Rothchild connection. This is really starting to sound like something four
- 14:41shit. I believe that the people that Arianda Rothchild and Edmund de Rothchild I
- 14:48think they are part of the rothchild, like the people you've heard of,
- 14:52and the nome Chomsky thing doesn't surprise me. There seems to be like a
- 14:58weird lane between commies and nonsense. But I think we're all figuring that out
- 15:05now. So but you know what I would like to know. I mean,
- 15:09everything that you guys have brought up is something I'm really curious about.
- 15:13And I don't expect that it's going to come out because there's way too many
- 15:18powerful people who are you know, probably implicated in this and don't want it
- 15:24getting out. But one thing I am wondering about is that whenever we talk
- 15:28about like the supposed, like the not supposed, but the sex slaves that
- 15:33he keeps on his island, I wonder how many of them are boys,
- 15:37because it only comes up that it's girls. And yeah, sure that's probably
- 15:43right, and that's probably a majority. I don't know, but there's no
- 15:46mention of boys. And I'm and I have a feeling there are male sex
- 15:50slaves there. Because you know, the whole like sex trafficking thing, it's
- 15:58always framed as a women's issue. I don't think it's entirely that I think
- 16:02there are boys that are that are you know, trafficked as well, and
- 16:07um, I would just i'd like to know. I don't know that that
- 16:11those uh you know this this information that leaked is going to go there,
- 16:15but I would be really interesting. Well, it's worth pointing out that female
- 16:22sex slaves of any age are more valuable than male sex slaves, largely because
- 16:30most people are heterosexual. And if this is reflected in a lot a lot
- 16:37of the shadiest parts of the Muslim world, m most at least a great
- 16:41deal of sex slavery is Yeah, the sex slaves are young boys because it's
- 16:48against the pervading religion to violate a good little devout Muslim girls. And it's
- 16:57the same reason that so many pedophil rings in the UK and the other various
- 17:06parts of the world they've invaded very much trade in female sex slaves because they're
- 17:11more valuable. The only reason they fuck boys in Islamic countries is because they
- 17:17can't get girls, because it would be wrong to do it to girls.
- 17:21But but nobody gives a ship if you fuck boys, which is why,
- 17:26which is why when they come to the UK and other places, they're like,
- 17:29we can get girls, we can get girls now, did you know
- 17:30that? And they're just as cheap as the boys because what they really want
- 17:36is girls. They they only resort to boys when it's all they can get.
- 17:42So when it comes to the likes of Epstein and his island, I
- 17:47would imagine, given just how absurdly rich and powerful he is, I would
- 17:52imagine they would be mostly girls because he can afford them, You know what
- 17:57I mean? Yeah, that's a good point. Anybody else have any thoughts
- 18:03on this Epstein follow up? Okay, So then with that said, we're
- 18:08gonna move on. Let us know what you guys think about this in the
- 18:11comments. I know it's not like a ton of information, but at least
- 18:15something's coming out. Hopefully someone will remain vigilant enough to keep digging and keep
- 18:21revealing more. I wonder, I actually wonder if somebody's releasing these little tidbits
- 18:27to basically scare the person that's got you know, or the entity. I
- 18:33shouldn't say person, because it's probably a legal entity that's got the information the
- 18:38public really wants. Yeah, and say, you know, everybody pretty much
- 18:45within the spectrum of wealthy and powerful either met with Epstein or one of Epstein's
- 18:52representatives and everybody can be connected to Epstein one way or another. Give us
- 18:59our names or work going to let your name out or your name's out,
- 19:03and maybe that's maybe that's what this is all about. Yeah maybe, uh
- 19:10yeah, that that's that's certainly possible. I guess. Well, I don't
- 19:15know. I hope we learn more as all I can say. Um,
- 19:18this should be a much bigger deal than the media is making it out to
- 19:21be. But of course, of course that's the case, right, So
- 19:25okay, come out as these people's usefulness draws to a close. Yeah,
- 19:30yeah, that's what I think. I think that there are people on that
- 19:33list that are still too important and then there are some that can be tossed
- 19:38the side. And that's the I think we got that. So all right,
- 19:44so we're gonna move on to next story. Let us know what do
- 19:45you guys think about this? In the comments? Who do you think is
- 19:48like, is there going to be more information? Do you think this is
- 19:52gonna be memory hold? If if there is more, who do you expect
- 19:55to find on that on that list? Let us know in the comments.
- 19:59So before we go to the next story, which is about vice, we're
- 20:03gonna read a super chat. So Albert Nada Retro gives us five dollars and
- 20:07fifty cents Canadian and says, everybody knows Epstein died of Clinton implication halitosis.
- 20:17All right, thank you, Albert, and let me just look and see
- 20:21if I miss any super chows. No, I got one. Meredith Chi
- 20:25Meredith Gezorry gives us five dollars and says, HBr news four oh four,
- 20:29honey for the Badgers. JE, that's Jeffrey Epstein met with government officials.
- 20:33I'm shocked, just shocked. Actually I'm not. Je. Connections run deep
- 20:37given his business partner's father, Robert Maxwell, is rumored to be a triple
- 20:44agent. Wow, that's a lot of intrigue. That's like three levels of
- 20:48intrigue. Would I would also like to say that Jeffrey Epstein appears to be
- 20:53like the personification of it's not what you know, it's who you know.
- 21:00Like that. I think that's literally what it is, right that all saying,
- 21:03So anyway, let us know what you guys think about this in the
- 21:07comments. Now we're going to talk about something that's I think is good news.
- 21:11So Mike jam I head it up to you well, maybe not all
- 21:17good, but we'll get to that. So the heyday of the ALTI media
- 21:23giant of Vice News could be at an end. The outlet, which wants
- 21:30focused on documentaries and boots on the ground style journalism but then shifted to progressive
- 21:37in social justice slanted essays, now faces the very real possibility of bankruptcy.
- 21:44Two sources have told Breitbart that the company has been desperately looking for a buyer
- 21:48and that's so far they've had no such luck. The company, which previously
- 21:55held an estimated worth of over five billion dollars, released in a statement Monday
- 22:02that quote, we are engaged in a comprehensive evaluation of strategic alternatives and planning
- 22:08the company. It's board and stakeholders continue to be focused on finding the best
- 22:14path for the company. End quote. So translation, we're kind of fun
- 22:19m m. But in a late breaking development, according to reports from The
- 22:26Wall Street Journal, Vice is on the cusp of finishing a deal with Fortress
- 22:30Investment Group and Soros Fund Managements acquire the outlet for the sum of roughly four
- 22:40hundred million dollars. See tempting though it is to talk this up to the
- 22:45get Woke, Go broke paradigm. It's it's not necessarily the case, certainly
- 22:51not always. Vice has been around for years, and it's been woke for
- 22:56like the last ten of those years. Give I'll take, which is a
- 23:00really good innings, all things considered. Media companies rise and fall all the
- 23:03times. It's natural cycle. We just don't remember them after they've fallen.
- 23:10All all kinds of non woke outlets have folded before they've even gotten anyone's radar.
- 23:17Meanwhile, the likes of the New York Times and the Washington Post and
- 23:21the Wall Street Journal and The Guardian and Disney and Netflix and any given TV
- 23:26station ending in BC have been around for decades. They've always been left leaning.
- 23:33But they're still going strong because they're too big to fail. That's that's
- 23:38that's where the George saurus is of the world pump all their funding because there's
- 23:44such crucial pillars of propaganda. I suppose Vice, much like BuzzFeed, much
- 23:52like various other Gorkhas subsidiaries, never quite made it to the heights that get
- 23:56that kind of attention. One can only assume they made the mistakes that Twitter
- 24:02was making before Musk bought it, and they employ hundreds of useless woman child
- 24:10degenerates, whom they pay a small fortune to write one short article a month
- 24:15if they do anything at all, and they employ diversity officers whose only job
- 24:22is to bring in diversity hires who slowly tanked the company with their obvious incompetence.
- 24:26Massive companies can afford to do that. Moderate operations like or at least
- 24:34intermediately. Wealthy operations like Vice, evidently cannot. That's that's the degree to
- 24:40which get woke go broke is arguably true, but it's not going to make
- 24:45any difference to the rise of work propaganda. What are the readers of Vice
- 24:49going to do when Vice is no longer operating. They're going to keep reading
- 24:56the NYT and the WSG and the Guardian and so on. Sure, and
- 25:00as the smaller companies get shaved away from the stack, you'll end up with
- 25:06just a handful of absurdly wealthy woke publications where everyone gets their news. And
- 25:14all this does is make the propaganda even more homogeneous and hegemonic. Eventually,
- 25:21of course, there'll just be one outlet left, one outlet of state approved
- 25:26propaganda, possibly on a global scale, and it will be even woker than
- 25:33you can possibly imagine, because there will be no competition, all within the
- 25:37state, none outside the state, none against the state, and the whole
- 25:42world will be one state. Ironic is it not that this kind of global
- 25:48fascism is being brought about by people who think they're fighting against fascism? Good
- 25:53God, people are stupid. Lord. There's an element to which this is
- 26:00fake. Um. One of the things that happens in media is if you
- 26:07remember back in the old days when you used to get a newspaper delivered to
- 26:14your house and paperboy would come around for us two dollars every so many days,
- 26:19then get chased around the neighborhood by people and bikes going two dollars.
- 26:25I went by two dollars for the movie reference, But that that two dollars
- 26:32didn't pay for the newspaper. It paid for the delivery. Really, the
- 26:36newspaper was paid for by the advertisers, and a newspaper wouldn't survive without advertising.
- 26:44You got ads, or you had to charge a lot more. You
- 26:48had to charge magazine prices for your newspaper. And if you didn't have some
- 26:52really you know, great hard hitting, exciting news in your story, or
- 27:00you weren't a shit tabloid that that wrote about the incredible bat boy. You
- 27:06weren't getting and they got. Those guys got ads too, by the way,
- 27:10But but you weren't getting um people to buy to pay to read your
- 27:17newspaper, to pay magazine prices to read your newspaper. So papers that couldn't
- 27:26keep their circulation up couldn't charge as much for their adsum. The paper I
- 27:32worked for was a small town newspaper sold around the county, but it was
- 27:37small like and it's heyday. I think it had maybe seven thousand, five
- 27:44hundred circulation throughout the entire county, which mostly was in the community itself.
- 27:52And it got bought out the couple that owned it when they retired UM a
- 27:57company. It bought the newspaper in the community next door I guess you could
- 28:06say, about ten miles east of US, and it bought our newspaper,
- 28:12and I think also the newspaper in a community to the south of US,
- 28:19and they were combined as one organization, and reporters went back and forth and
- 28:25photographers went back and forth, and a lot of the work that was done
- 28:30was centralized in the printing press area at the newspaper where I worked because it
- 28:38had the biggest printing press, and that's what's happening here. Vice probably lost
- 28:48out on AD revenue, and they probably lost out on readership, But where
- 28:55they really lost out on ad revenue was other publications going well, yeah,
- 29:00you can, you can buy an ad with us and we'll put your ad
- 29:04in these seven publications. And Vice is going, well, you know,
- 29:11if you buy an ad with us, you get to advertise with Vice.
- 29:15Tada. And the advertisers are going, oh, we'll pay for this ad
- 29:19in these other seven publications. So the advertising gets squeezed out, and maybe
- 29:26the other seven publications are owned by Soros, and Soros just watches Vice die
- 29:32and then swoops in to buy it up. And this is how conglomerate media
- 29:37grows. They buy up different media. They give advertisers these great deals on
- 29:45ads, where well, if you buy an ad with us for this publication,
- 29:48we'll also put it in these other publications and you'll get this mini views
- 29:53as opposed to what other people are offering you with a smaller package for the
- 29:57same price. And of course the advertisers they need people to see their ads,
- 30:03so they're going to go with the better deal. And then that provides
- 30:08the conglomerate. They haven't price fixed, right, they haven't engaged in monopolistic
- 30:15practices that are illegal. It's not illegal to give somebody a great deal.
- 30:18They haven't said to anybody, don't advertise with Vice, none of that.
- 30:26All they did was give a better deal and boom, you know, pretty
- 30:32soon they get another and another. So I don't know how much of this
- 30:36is Vice going woke and going broke versus Vice just not being big enough to
- 30:41compete anymore. And the fact that Soros swooped into scoop it up like right
- 30:48away. One day that's the news as Vice might be going bankrupt the next
- 30:52day Soros is going to buy it kind of tells you he was watching this
- 31:00just so you know. So, yeah, sure, there's there's there's a
- 31:03lot of fakeness in this, and that's this is just media does this all
- 31:07the time. Well, I guess that's all I wanted to point out,
- 31:12all right. I just wanted to say though that, um, despite all
- 31:17of that, I think that advertisers they advertise, but websites that get traffic.
- 31:23So if Vice is not getting the same traffic, then that could be
- 31:27the reason why advertisers are pulling out or going with someone else. And sure
- 31:33Vice isn't as big as The Guardian um or the New York Times, But
- 31:38um, I think that if you look at like the wider picture of journalism
- 31:44in general, like CNN is firing people left and right, and um,
- 31:48their their ratings are horrible, right, Like like Tucker Carlson put out a
- 31:52video from his basement and he beat everybody because like another one less than two
- 32:00hours ago and it already has over five million. Yeah. So so like
- 32:04what I'm what I'm getting at is, um, of course, people like
- 32:08deep with deep deep pockets like Sorrows are gonna try to like you know,
- 32:14uh, take whatever advantage they can get so they can keep on pushing,
- 32:17you know that, whatever their propaganda, their lies, whatever. But what
- 32:22I think is this is a sign of is not necessarily get woke, go
- 32:25broke. Because I wasn't making that case. I never thought that you can
- 32:30actually make a company implode because you are just not buying their products. You
- 32:36know, like bud Lights still exists, but they're not going to do any
- 32:38more of those fucking ads. Just like Gillette, they still exist, but
- 32:43they're not gonna do anyone of those fucking ads. They haven't done it in
- 32:45years because they know where their bread is buttered. So we don't necessarily need
- 32:49them to collapse, We just need them to stop it, and then they
- 32:52did. So, like I think with Vice, it was always woke.
- 32:58I think that even when they were doing this kind of like guerrilla on the
- 33:00ground, going to the Middle East type of journalism, they still had that
- 33:06same kind of, you know, progressive mentality. It's just that when there's
- 33:10no longer like you know, like a George W. Bush in office that
- 33:15you can like essentially just show the shit that he's doing, then you have
- 33:20to make things up, so you start talking about white privilege and patriarchy and
- 33:23all that. But they already knew that. That's like if you go to
- 33:27school for journalism, that's what you're going to learn. So you know,
- 33:30unless you're like a resistant person that says, you know what, I don't
- 33:34know if I buy this, you're just gonna like total line because that's what
- 33:38education is. So I think that what I take away from this is Vice
- 33:45and BuzzFeed, who fired like fifteen percent of their staff, and they're also
- 33:51like, you know, in danger of going But I think they've filed for
- 33:54bankruptcy or something. So that is to me at least evidence that people like
- 34:02are not going to those websites in such large numbers. So you can advertise
- 34:07there, but if no one sees your ad then you, you know,
- 34:10like you may have wasted your time and your money. So why wouldn't you
- 34:14advertise on a website that gut does get traffic? Does that mean that you
- 34:16know you're going to see like the New York Times and the Washington Post and
- 34:22the Guardian, all these like essentially get whatever whatever people don't no longer go
- 34:29to Vice? Yeah. Probably. But the point is that I think that
- 34:32if I think that people's attitudes are changing, and I think it's coming out
- 34:38in like what websites they choose to go to, you know what, what
- 34:44what they choose to spend their time consuming in terms of their news and their
- 34:50opinion pieces and so on, And I think it's having an effect. And
- 34:52that's why I'm happy about it. I mean, I don't expect that Advice
- 34:55is going to disappear. I know that the people who work there at least
- 35:00they're going to find other stuff to do. You know, They're gonna keep
- 35:01doing their journalism or their activism or whatever it is. And sure, people
- 35:07like Sorrows and other you know, billionaire like philanthropist types are going to invest
- 35:13in them. But that's fine, throw all your money at that if you
- 35:16want to. I think that regular people, though, might be starting to
- 35:22wise up. And I think that's what that that's really the important takeaway,
- 35:25although I can't confirm it to be sure, but based on what I've seen,
- 35:30based on like all of the stuff that's going on, how we get
- 35:35like a new controversy like every week, um, and there's these companies are
- 35:40shutting down. I mean, I'm expecting Fox News to file at some point,
- 35:45but that's only because Tucker left and they Tucker was like their life support.
- 35:52Yeah he was Fox News. Like people didn't watch Sean Hannity after they
- 35:57ousted him. Yeah, So yeah, there, their their weightings are gonna
- 36:01go in the toilet, and that's fine. And maybe some like is it
- 36:06maybe Warren Buffett or something, No, not him, but like maybe some
- 36:08billionaire will invest and keep it afloat. But the point is is that they
- 36:13do have to spend money on that, and I don't think it's gonna work
- 36:16out. So I mean, you know, in the probably not in my
- 36:20lifetime. But I think that it's it's it's showing that there is like a
- 36:25shift, you know, happening with the people. And I think that's where
- 36:30it really matters in my opinion. It does. It does show there's a
- 36:32shift with the people. Um, but in terms of UM, like the
- 36:37bankruptcy itself and everything is it's kind of the the bat signal for time to
- 36:45add this this media to the conglomerate between um, between left wing publications.
- 36:52Now, like you you'll you'll want to be real suspicious if Sorrows buys Fox
- 36:59News, if somebody else does, that would be different. But if if
- 37:02Sorros buys Fox News, then that that should tell you something. Well,
- 37:08I think there's a reason why nobody really watches Fox except for Tucker, and
- 37:13I think it's because it's like it's it's boomer journalism, Like it's it still
- 37:17lives in like the Reagan era, a lot of it, and people are
- 37:22the lot of that there. Yeah, there's a lot of there's a lot
- 37:24of rhino shit. There's a lot of neo conshit. People don't want that,
- 37:29like you know, they they that's that's the thing. Like, so
- 37:31it can you know. I mean I think that if if if there was
- 37:37like if Sorrows bought Fox, I think a lot of people would not be
- 37:39surprised. They'd be like the people there that would leave, I think there
- 37:44they should. They would head for head for the hills real fast. Yeah,
- 37:49you know, there's there's a few of them like I would expect,
- 37:52for instance, Shannon Breen would get the hell out of there real fast because
- 37:55Soros doesn't like Christians and she is always talking about her religious beliefs. Um.
- 38:01Yeah, so that would be that she'd be out. But I think
- 38:07that some of the newer, younger right wing um or independent media would be
- 38:15willing to pick her up. But yeah, well again making Kelly, she
- 38:21loved Fox. I think she's doing really well. I don't watch her,
- 38:24but she heard you're making Colly Megan Kelly's calling Fox News. What was that?
- 38:30You're what Makan Kelly's calling Fox News as a late No? What fox
- 38:35wiser? God? Yeah, So I'm just saying like, well, obviously
- 38:43media is changing. Fox News didn't kill itself, Um, I mean it
- 38:50kind of did it. Actually, what's funny is somebody had pointed out,
- 38:55guess the owner of the what's the name of the sans Dominion, Dominion,
- 39:07the owner of Dominion, the company that owns Dominion owns Fox News. Uh,
- 39:15that's weird, and it was the Dominion lawsuit was apparently the reason that
- 39:20Carlson was ousted. I don't know, Yeah, which is possible because I
- 39:25mean he was he was on them pretty hard about things, and uh,
- 39:32like there were some things that that you know, this is something that a
- 39:37journalist should be able to do as long as you do it honestly. Like
- 39:42when we've talked about the questions that people had regarding the election, like,
- 39:47we don't know the answers to those questions. That's why they're called questions.
- 39:52Um, those are their concerns people had, right, Yeah. Those The
- 39:59point that we always made when we talked about this is in order for people
- 40:05to have faith and trust in a system, the system has to demonstrate that
- 40:09when those questions and concerns come up, they get addressed in a transparent way
- 40:15that everybody is satisfied with the result, not in that they like what the
- 40:21result is, but they're satisfied that the result was arrived at honestly and fairly,
- 40:28in with no shenanigans. And we didn't get that that was not what
- 40:32happened this last time around. So there are still a lot of people with
- 40:39a lot of questions, a lot of concerns, and a lot of suspicions
- 40:44because of the way it was handled when the original questions, concerns, and
- 40:49suspicions came up. And I think if you could say anything was a mistake
- 40:55that Tucker Carlson did was that he didn't quite give that impression when he talked
- 41:00about stuff. He made some more definitive statements about this happened or that happened
- 41:07had and you have to have absolute, solid, rock solid proof if you're
- 41:13going to say that, like come out and say you know, so and
- 41:15so did this, or this definitely happened, and here's why we think this
- 41:22definitely happened. So that gave them an opportunity to while you're out of here,
- 41:30you're the cause of this lawsuit. And they settled with Dominion. If
- 41:35Dominion was not owned by the same company as Fox, and the people calling
- 41:40the shots above both companies were different people, it might be possible that battle
- 41:46might have been fought out to the end and turn around and said, well,
- 41:50no, he didn't nobody slandered anybody. This discussion was happening all over
- 41:55the country. To say that Fox being part of it is you know,
- 42:00uh a slander or defamation was wrong or whatever. You know, it might
- 42:06have been a totally different result, but you know, he kind of got
- 42:09caught in the gears there. The thing is, uh, it's a it's
- 42:14a mistake for the company to let him go. Um, they're going to
- 42:16discover that he's going to be bigger at some other company, and that company
- 42:22is going to end up eclipsing Fox. Right. Yeah, but again when
- 42:29you look at when you look at how this played out, it goes back
- 42:35to that sort of fake fake news kind of element. Um, it wasn't
- 42:42It wasn't organic, right, Rice going bankrupt isn't organic. Um, and
- 42:50sorrows swooping in and picking up Vice isn't organic. So when when we look
- 42:55at media, media changes, um, things that are said and establishment media
- 43:06and things that are not said or talked about an establishment media, just remember
- 43:15you look and find out who owns those conglomerates. Vice is not an independent
- 43:22company. I don't think. I think they're already owned by another company.
- 43:24Yeah, and they're right, So this is This may be a company selling
- 43:32to itself. This may be a company selling to another company. This maybe
- 43:37I'm not I'm not going to use terms that imply um illegal things necessarily,
- 43:45but this may be shuffling the funds around like a deck of cards. Vice
- 43:51is owned by Vice Media. They for the moment, they are okay,
- 43:53so they are their own company. But yeah and like they are still they're
- 43:59still a prev Oh okay, yeah, so they are an independent company then,
- 44:05um but uh but Fox is not right. Yeah, so there may
- 44:09have been you know, a bit of a dollar shuffle going on there.
- 44:14Yeah, and that's probably something that just just from hearing interviews about his life
- 44:22with the man, I doubt Tucker Carlson would have stuck around there very long
- 44:24if he could have gotten out of his contract anyway with that stuff going on.
- 44:30Like, yeah, just when it comes to the media, you're talking
- 44:36about the biggest sleez pit, Like Congress is probably not as sleazy as the
- 44:45American mainstream press. Sure, and Congress is pretty fucking sleazy. Politics.
- 44:52Politics have the biggest represent or reputation for being sleazy. The media is worse.
- 45:00M hmm, just just telling you, of course, Yeah, I
- 45:02think we all figured that out. The way that they've treated us. Yeah,
- 45:07the way they treated us people should know. But um, all right,
- 45:12so we got to move on to the next story. But for like
- 45:15twenty minutes. Oh I'm sorry, go ahead. Um. So, the
- 45:21way that I've heard it explained as far as Fox News or not Fox,
- 45:24He'm sorry, Fice News was starting up, was that they were focused on
- 45:30sort of this as they described it, a sort of punk rock view of
- 45:36journalism. They wanted to do a lot of guerrilla journalism, boots on the
- 45:40ground stuff like that, like this is where um Tim and a lot of
- 45:46this information I'm about to say does come from Tim, So I mean trusted
- 45:51as much as you trust him. And he says that, yeah, things
- 45:57were like that for a while. They were allowing him to do his um,
- 46:00you know, foreign correspondence, which he really liked to do. He
- 46:04was he went to a ton of different places, and everything basically changed all
- 46:10at once. It was an overnight thing where they came to him and basically
- 46:16said like, hey, we're not going to do so much of this correspondent
- 46:22stuff. We're not going to be you know, doing these like you know,
- 46:23trips to like the Middle East and Ukraine and stuff like that. We're
- 46:28basically hard pivoting to progressivism and social justice. And when he's like, why
- 46:37are the hell are we doing that, he said, they described that this
- 46:43is what this is what the algorithm says, this is what tests. Well,
- 46:47this is around two thousand and six or sorry, sorry, twenty sixteen,
- 46:52twenty seventeen, Trump was elected exactly. Yeah, there was another reason
- 46:59too, And this is more or less publicly available knowledge. You can go
- 47:02look this up. Around twenty seventeen is when a lot of allegations started coming
- 47:10out about sexual impropriety. Let's just say that much too concerning some of the
- 47:17yes, well that well me two style accusations say that didn't come out till
- 47:23much later, concerning Vice and some of the executives and Tim, and he's
- 47:35told the story a few times, basically says like one of the higher upset,
- 47:38you want to make this stuff all go away, to start pivoting hard
- 47:44towards feminism, start pivoting hards towards women's rights, social justice, progressive liberalism.
- 47:52Yeah sure, And that's when you really saw it explode. And that's
- 47:54when Tim said, I'm not sure I really like it here anymore, and
- 48:00he kind of wrote out the rest of his two year contract and they approached
- 48:04him again and we're like, hey, we want to have you on for
- 48:07another couple of years, will pay you all this money. And he was
- 48:08like, yeah, I'd rather not. And that's when he went off and
- 48:13did his own thing. Yeah, so something that something that people will remember.
- 48:22When we went to the International Men's Issues Conference in twenty fourteen, VICE
- 48:28came and covered us. They did a whole thing, interviews and everything with
- 48:34a bunch of the honey Badgers and did a whole publication on us and stuff.
- 48:39And then just a few months after it was published, when the hashtag
- 48:47gamer gate started really blowing up on Twitter, they changed the title to something
- 48:57like from from you know, some innocuous just title about us in men's rights
- 49:04to these women think women who were raped were asking for it or something along
- 49:10those lines, like, so they were woken, they were woken twenty fourteen.
- 49:17Well, there were I mean, I would imagine that a lot of
- 49:21people worked. There were, but there were enough people that were trying to
- 49:24do other journalism. But that doesn't mean that they weren't influenced by their bias
- 49:30in any way. Right. So that's what I mean when I say,
- 49:32you know, they're always left leaning, that goes That's what i'm That's what
- 49:36I'm saying, Like they're they like, I don't want to get into the
- 49:40political part. But all I'm saying is wokenus is not far away from being
- 49:45left leaning. It's not far. It's it just takes a little push,
- 49:49you know, the wrong guy gets elected into office or something right. And
- 49:52if you have a lot of women there, women tend to lean that way,
- 49:57like just in their nature. So that's what you're gonna get. But
- 50:00anyway, that that all that assigned because we have we have three more stories
- 50:05to get to. But I just I really love to finish up my thought
- 50:07if I oh, yeah, go ahead, I'm sorry, I okay,
- 50:10go ahead twice. So pivoting closer to where we are now. One of
- 50:17the things that has happened is everyone knows that journalism saw something called the Trump
- 50:23bump. Basically, any anything, any story, whether it would be about
- 50:30tennis, ball manufacturing to politics to marine biology, if you included Trump in
- 50:37some manner in there, your story would get ten times more engagement. And
- 50:42that has absolutely been drying up in the past two years. Yeah, and
- 50:46it's something you're seeing just the downswing of journalism as a whole. I don't
- 50:53know if anyone, either anyone here or anyone who listens to us also frequents
- 51:00Clownfish TV. Yeah, they're another they're another YouTube channel that also has like
- 51:07a news site to them, and they said, it's just so hard to
- 51:10find ad rates now, it's so hard to pay who they have on that,
- 51:15like bringing in other people is just not possible. And that's one of
- 51:20the biggest things that I believe hurt Vice in the long run. And the
- 51:23fact too also that they courted a sort of lefty sort of culture in their
- 51:32own ranks. That's something that also hurt them, because I do believe I
- 51:37remember, I think one or two years ago, they started threatening to strike,
- 51:44threatening to you know, do a union action if they weren't paid more.
- 51:47And the problem was since most of the money that they had was venture
- 51:51capital, because as many people know, these journalism outlets live and breathe on
- 51:54venture capital, and when that money is no longer there, there's not a
- 52:00lot to show for after that, right, and so it's like, yeah,
- 52:05okay, we can pay you guys this twenty dollars an hour you want
- 52:07or whatever, but then we're going to have to fire half of you.
- 52:13And that's exactly what they've been doing. And up to this point, you
- 52:16know that that's fine. You know, you can always trim a few extra
- 52:20people, because you've always got some people that are just useless and doing nothing,
- 52:23sitting around clogging up an office. Yeah, but they're getting to the
- 52:28point where the rubbers meeting the road and they just the money ain't there anymore.
- 52:32The venture capital is completely dry, and they've got nothing to show for
- 52:37it because again, their brand of journalism is kind of on the way out,
- 52:42this highly opinion based social justice that's a style thing. It's just it's
- 52:49gone. Nobody wants it. I mean, I guess if, like if
- 52:52Trump runs and wins in twenty twenty four, that they might get that bump
- 52:57again. But I don't know. I mean, I think that like like
- 53:00it's like I said, you know, like you said, I think people
- 53:01are sick of this and they're just not tuning in like they used to.
- 53:06And you know that's that is for me. That's if that's true, that's
- 53:09the win. I don't care. I don't want VICE to necessarily implode.
- 53:14I don't want those people to lose their jobs. I want them to main
- 53:17to remain like, like, you know, productive members of society. Um.
- 53:22But if if like the audience has spoken, you know, like info
- 53:27Wars has you know, remained on the Internet despite all of the censorship and
- 53:31all of the repression that they deal with from YouTube and Google and stuff.
- 53:37Um, and they're still they're still running and so and they're not like you
- 53:40know, um, I mean there there's there's definitely an audience. Tucker Crosson's
- 53:45killing it. We'll see, like if he starts something. I heard that
- 53:50he was in talks with Elon musk Uh and so there's like, I don't
- 53:52know, I don't want his announcement today if you I don't think I didn't
- 53:57watch that. His announcement basically said he would be returning in a show style
- 54:01format on Twitter. Yeah so nice Elon musk So. And the thing is
- 54:08is that like most of the work of pushing back against this stuff comes from
- 54:14the people at the bottom, and it's not even work. All you gotta
- 54:15do is like literally just don't go to those websites. Don't give people who
- 54:20hate you your money. And that's always that's always been the mantra I think
- 54:28of get what go broke, which is more like a sentiment. It's not
- 54:31a reality. But I think most people know that. I think most people
- 54:35know that. But at the end of the day, like, what if
- 54:37it doesn't work, does that mean you give him your money anyway? No,
- 54:40don't be stupid. Just don't participate and just let it, let it
- 54:45go right, some people will go along with it. You can't change those
- 54:50people's minds. You can't force them, you know, to go to somewhere
- 54:52else. All you can do is not participate. And then if you have
- 54:55friends or people around you, you tell them you know what, I'm not
- 54:59doing doing this and this is why, and let them make up their own
- 55:01mind. And I think that's enough. I think I honestly think that's enough.
- 55:06So can I I'll be as quick as possible. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 55:09say it. Fox News is controlled opposition, always has been. Maybe maybe
- 55:16that wasn't the idea originally, but it seems almost too convenient. Yeah,
- 55:21every other channel is able to point at Fox News and go, look look
- 55:24at how right wing the establishment media is. This is why we need to
- 55:30exist, so that someone out there is able to point out how right wing
- 55:34everyone is. Yeah, if if Fox disappeared tomorrow, what would the likes
- 55:40of the Daily Show do do all their jokes about random random as that's who
- 55:45isolated kuks, who they can lie about with impunity, They'd have to clutch
- 55:50at straws trying to point to any burned edge of right wing talking points that
- 55:54still exist anywhere in the world, while quietly whistling at the pervasive fact that
- 56:01the entire network and cable media is unapologetically biased in favor of the Democrat Party.
- 56:07And when any normal person points out, hey, it seems like the
- 56:13entire media industry is controlled by the Democrat Party. What they're gonna say If
- 56:16they can't do the woe Jack point at Fox News, they don't have a
- 56:22leg to stand on. So let's see what happens if Fox News goes under.
- 56:25Let's see you can still keep up this lie. Well, I think
- 56:30that that the left wing is in any way the resistance, the rebellious,
- 56:34anti corporate, plucky freedom fighting under They'll still try it, but no one
- 56:42will believe them. No one but the fucking NPCs anywhere that focus all they
- 56:46have to focus all their negative energy on the internet, which is where they
- 56:51will go to die. Everyone drinks of that. Do you guys remember what
- 56:54made Fox News? Does anybody remember why Fox News became popular? It was
- 57:04like the only alternative I think, no, it was the only channel giving
- 57:10coverage to the O. J. Simpson case. Oh well that'll do it.
- 57:16And uh, you know, like the other channels ended up having to
- 57:20do things with the case because of Fox News. But everybody was glued to
- 57:25their televisions, watching Fox News and watching um the discussions about the case,
- 57:35watching the case be the testimony aired, UM, watching the commentators opine over
- 57:42gilt or innocence and corruption in the in the police departments and everything, UM,
- 57:49and in particular the whole planting evidence, making up a case about a
- 57:55famous black man and then making the case in court thing that that that's not
- 58:04a right wing talking point. Yeah. I remember that period of time very
- 58:10clearly because I hated how many times my cartoons got interrupted. Yeah, oh
- 58:16yeah, yeah, sure. I watched that with my dad, UM,
- 58:22and we were baffled by by the case because it was like there was there
- 58:27was all this evidence that like there was plenty of evidence on both sides of
- 58:34UM. The argument as to whether or not the evidence against Simpson was um
- 58:43real valid evidence or or tampered with and stuff like that, and we both
- 58:49thought there should have been there should be a process to have a separate um.
- 58:53I don't know a full on separate hearing system for that that doesn't have
- 58:59any thing to do with the same judge and doesn't have anything to do with
- 59:02like they should have to present a case because that was such a weird case
- 59:06and everything. By the end of it, it just neither one of us
- 59:09could come to a conclusion until years later. But but in any case,
- 59:15I think a lot of people started watching Fox News, and there's there's been
- 59:22some evidence too the lot of people started watching Fox News because of that case
- 59:27that stayed with it, and it was I think most of them were probably
- 59:30boomers, but there's a lot of gen xers that watch that outlet, and
- 59:36it a lot of people who I think are more independent, with some left
- 59:43cleaning beliefs and some especially about corruption within the government not going away just because
- 59:51your favorite party gets into office and stuff like that. More like more libertarian
- 59:59beliefs and stuff stuck around because they were fed up with being spoon fed and
- 1:00:05when they went back to the other news agencies. They realized how different the
- 1:00:08reporting was. And I don't know, um, I think I think what
- 1:00:17Mike said about them being controlled opposition, there might be something to that.
- 1:00:23All right, Well, I get I mean, I'm I'm open and whatever.
- 1:00:29I don't watch Fox anyway, so but let us know what you guys
- 1:00:32think about this to come. I really got to move on because we got
- 1:00:35three stories and it's already been an hour and we still have three more to
- 1:00:39go, and I have these gigantic paragraphs of superchow, so oh nice.
- 1:00:45Michael Emerick gives us five dollars in a superchow and says, I've been saying
- 1:00:49that for a while. As these companies go bankrupt, and he puts that
- 1:00:52in quotes, they just get bought out by a couple of billionaires and al
- 1:00:58gormerated into huh aglomerated el glom. I think it means conglomerated maybe, but
- 1:01:07into an expanding giant Amiba. Yet halfwits will keep celebrating that Vice is dead,
- 1:01:10BuzzFeed is dead, Gawker is dead. The last time I check,
- 1:01:14Kataku and Jezebel are still around, and the very it's the very same in
- 1:01:19this very same form they were in before. Quit your stupid victory dances until
- 1:01:22you've actually made sure your enemy is dead rather than flailing around a Shakespearean death
- 1:01:27scene by you, I mean the royal you, not you guys. All
- 1:01:30I will say, just really quick about that, is that you're not gonna
- 1:01:36kill a company like that by just like, you know, by just refusing
- 1:01:40to, you know, go to their website or whatever you're It's not gonna
- 1:01:45happen. But if you save yourself by just not going there, then you
- 1:01:49won't be hit with all of their bullshit propaganda and all of their lies.
- 1:01:52And hopefully more people will do that and they'll wake up because the truth always
- 1:01:55comes out. And I think that despite the fact that Vice and BuzzFeed and
- 1:02:01Kotaku will exist in some form right, it doesn't matter because what it means
- 1:02:08is is that people are not absorbing the material. That's what I'm talking about.
- 1:02:14Like, back when BuzzFeed was putting out like listicals that let you know,
- 1:02:17like you know, which Disney princess you are, there were lots of
- 1:02:22people trafficking the site for that, and then they would get like, oh,
- 1:02:24here's some feminism like would you like a side of feminism with your with
- 1:02:29your Disney Princess quiz? Now people aren't going there in the same numbers,
- 1:02:34and I think that that is meaningful. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:02:37So they're not going to go away because these people are committed to like driving
- 1:02:43this shit into our brains. That's fine. You can, you know,
- 1:02:46go ahead, spend all the money you have trying to do that. As
- 1:02:50long as I know that people are not responding to it, then that's good
- 1:02:53enough for me. Yes, vice should definitely be committed. Yeah, ZARANX
- 1:03:00gives us five dollars, so thank you, Michael Emrick, and ZARENX gives
- 1:03:06us five and says HPR News four or four. The fact some couldn't see
- 1:03:08how much Trump was elevating everyone and put their best foot forward is why I
- 1:03:14laugh at the issues many are suffering. Now, Hannah might say that that's
- 1:03:16wrong, but I can't shake it, and I would rather embrace that feel
- 1:03:21that I feel that way rather than smother it. These people are pretty much
- 1:03:23laughed at. These people pretty much laughed at those who had lost their businesses
- 1:03:30and or killed or died in twenty twenty, I think you're referring to the
- 1:03:35summer of love, among other things. But thank you ZARANX for that.
- 1:03:39So that that's called schadenfreud. It is, Yeah, perfectly normal. Shouldn't
- 1:03:45be celebrated in people like everybody shouldn't be standing around going, yeah, you're
- 1:03:50mad at these people, so you are go ahead, something bad happened to
- 1:03:52him. Yeah, but it does happen. It doesn't make you a bad
- 1:03:57person to experience it. Yeah, it feels I think what you're what I
- 1:04:01think. It feels like it's kind of like a cosmic justice that perhaps is
- 1:04:06the case because people are losing their jobs at these places, or at the
- 1:04:09very least a heavy sense of I told you so. Yeah that there's definitely
- 1:04:13that. But anyway, so let us know when you guys think about this
- 1:04:15in the comments. I gotta move on to the next story, so let's
- 1:04:18do it. So Proud Boys. Last week, a jury in Washington,
- 1:04:24DC convicted four out of five Proud Boy defendants of seditious conspiracy in relation to
- 1:04:31the January sixth riot at the United States Capitol. This included Enrique Tario,
- 1:04:36the former chairman of the Proud Boys, who was not in Washington, d
- 1:04:40C. On the day of the brief So he wasn't at the White House
- 1:04:44or the or the Capitol on January sixth, just to be clear, Okay,
- 1:04:47but he is convicted. Other Chapter leaders charged include Ethan Nordeine, Joseph
- 1:04:53Biggs, and Zachary Rell Dominic Pizzola, a member of the Proud Boys from
- 1:04:58Rochester, New York, bypassed the conviction on seditious conspiracy for now but was
- 1:05:03hit with lesser convictions. The jury agrees that the government has proved the existence
- 1:05:09of a seditious a conspiracy, a charge that carries up to twenty years behind
- 1:05:14bars. From the Daily Wire quote. The only defendant who was accused of
- 1:05:19violence on January sixth was Pozzola, a member of the Proud Boys from Rochester,
- 1:05:24New York. He apparently used a riot shield that belonged to an officer
- 1:05:28to break a window pane on the western front of the US Capitol. Pozzolo
- 1:05:31was arrested way back in January of twenty twenty one and had remained in jail
- 1:05:35since. During the trial, the prosecution used private messages from Tario that they
- 1:05:41said showed the former leader taking credit for the riot. So this is Enrique
- 1:05:45Tario, who is pictured in the center there on the website Okay. In
- 1:05:53one message, for example, Tario wrote, quote, make no mistake,
- 1:05:56we did this end quote and then this is also from the article quote.
- 1:06:01The government also brought up a document outlining a capital takeover that was sent to
- 1:06:05Tario on telegram called seventeen seventy six returns. Tario did not directly respond to
- 1:06:12the Scent document and claims he never even saw it, let alone opened it
- 1:06:15up. From jail. Tario on April twenty fifth commented on the speech issue
- 1:06:20that was a large part of this trial. Speaking in general terms, Tario
- 1:06:25said, the government is trying to manipulate how people speak to each other privately.
- 1:06:30What they're trying to do, what people are trying to do. And
- 1:06:32this is in general, I'm speaking in general, is manipulate how we talk
- 1:06:36to each other in the locker room, the former Proud Boy leader said in
- 1:06:40a Twitter Spaces event. And it's not fair, it's just not right.
- 1:06:44It's not the justice system that you grew up with in Civics class learning about.
- 1:06:50So, I mean, it feels like the right thing for me to
- 1:06:56do here is go on an angry rant about the FBI on their informants and
- 1:07:01their covert operatives, and about how maybe they should be facing justice for whatever
- 1:07:08capacity for a dozen FEDS implanted in the Proud Boys at the time that they
- 1:07:14may or may not have been instrumental in instigating whatever negligible amounts of seditious violence
- 1:07:19actually took place on January the sixth, I might refer back to what I
- 1:07:24said in the second segment about how definitively fascist it is if everyone goes down
- 1:07:29except the centralized state approved agencies. I might refer back to what I said
- 1:07:34of the first segment about how these are the very people we need to hear
- 1:07:40about so that we can cast an appropriate shadow on the reputation of the otherwise
- 1:07:45legally immune magulomaniacs who controlled everything we see and here. However, it's very
- 1:07:55possible that later this week certain travel restrictions be lifted and I will once again
- 1:08:00be allowed to visit the shores of the United States of America. So,
- 1:08:03just in case that does happen, and just in case I find myself being
- 1:08:06pulled out of the line at customs and led into a small room behind a
- 1:08:11two way mirror, if there are any agents listening to what I'm currently saying.
- 1:08:15Let me assure you I love the FBI, the CIA. They are
- 1:08:20good and righteous and blameless agents of truth and justice. They have only ever
- 1:08:27acted in the best interests of the people, not just the American people,
- 1:08:32but the beautiful and innocent dreamers who so blamelessly try to enrich the United States
- 1:08:38with their diverse and tolerant ways. You are all heroes and saints, and
- 1:08:44I hereby prostrate myself at your feet as the lowly wrong skin that I am.
- 1:08:50January the sixth was nothing shot of a massacre for which only Trump supporters
- 1:08:57can be blamed. Worse than nine eleven, possibly worse than the whole worst
- 1:09:09than Civil War, it's worth worse than all of these things combined. Whereas
- 1:09:13the Summer of Love was just that, Ladies and gentlemen, those those fires
- 1:09:17were perfectly peaceful and entirely mostly peaceful and entirely, and for good measure,
- 1:09:26let's say they didn't have. America is a wonderful country, but yes it
- 1:09:30is a racist hellhole, which which can only be fixed by the Democrat Party
- 1:09:36and the marvelous government agencies which only ally with the aforementioned Democrat Party through through
- 1:09:45basic logic and compassion. I mean, for Heaven's sake, and if if
- 1:09:48I ever do become an American citizen, I promise I will be a Democrat
- 1:09:53voter for life, and I will do everything I can to help you strip
- 1:09:58all those racists of their evil guns. Long lived women, long live the
- 1:10:02trans community, long lived black people, long lived Joe Biden message. Yes,
- 1:10:08there you go, all right, welcome to you, Welcome to your
- 1:10:14new nineteen eighty four There guys, um. You know, Toorio fled with
- 1:10:19his family from Cuba to come here, and now he's in a jail cell
- 1:10:26um and it's it's in exactly the kind of situation that that he would have
- 1:10:30expected in Cuba. Exam. Yeah, he's like, this is familiar.
- 1:10:36Yeah, this is this is really fucked up, and this is um could
- 1:10:42be like the people who, you know, everybody that that was sort of
- 1:10:50mentioned in that little rant, the people that are pro gun prohibition, because
- 1:10:58there's there's no such thing is gun control. Gun control doesn't exist. There's
- 1:11:03gun prohibition and gun rights. And that's true, Hannah. But when I
- 1:11:08go to the range, I practice impeccable gun control. Yeah, that's muscle
- 1:11:12control. Um. And in any case, you know, like when when
- 1:11:17you hear about laws for gun control and stuff like that, that's a that's
- 1:11:21a euphemism. It's gun prohibition, um. And it is prohibition because the
- 1:11:28ultimate goal is every single gun that that is owned by a citizen and not
- 1:11:33the government. That's you know, the government wants to monopoly on guns.
- 1:11:39Now, all that people would celebrate that celebrated this, The people that celebrated
- 1:11:45mandating various things that you know, you are are required to do for your
- 1:11:53health and banning various other things that you are required to avoid for your health.
- 1:11:59Yeah, I would celebrate this. You know. The people that that
- 1:12:02celebrated the quashing of questions about the last election will celebrate this. But no
- 1:12:12mentally healthy, ethical, reasonable, rational, intelligent people will celebrate this.
- 1:12:19Well they shouldn't. So I just want to say real quick about this.
- 1:12:26Why did I pick this story? Because the Proud Boys, as in terms
- 1:12:33of the media narrative. Okay, so I'm not saying this is true about
- 1:12:38them per se, but the Proud Boys, according to the media narrative,
- 1:12:43and I'm talking about groups like the SPLC and the ADL as well, they're
- 1:12:46basically lumped in with us, and that's how they're They're basically considered in the
- 1:12:55way, at least according to these people, part of the Manisphere, part
- 1:12:58of the pro mail, you know, male supremacy movement, right. Um.
- 1:13:03I think that they do care about masculinity. I know that Tario's talked
- 1:13:09about it as a concern of his, but they are primarily they're just antique
- 1:13:14communist, which I'm totally fucking on board with. But um, I'm saying
- 1:13:19this because if they if they're able to do this to them, and I
- 1:13:24know that their high profile and they stand out and all that, but if
- 1:13:28they're able to do it to them without any you know, they can just
- 1:13:30spin up a story and say, oh, these guys are you know Nazis,
- 1:13:34Like, yeah, the Afro Cuban Nazi, I know about that,
- 1:13:38um that came running away from Castro's Cuba with his folks. Sure, and
- 1:13:45they'll they'll say all this stuff about them, and you know, stupid people
- 1:13:47like Hannah was talking about, um, they'll buy into it. So,
- 1:13:53um, what is there to be for any other people that have any association
- 1:13:59with the Manisphere. I think that that's an important consideration. You know,
- 1:14:02I almost went to Washington on January sixth. I wanted to go to like
- 1:14:08do some interviews and just sort of like, you know, see what was
- 1:14:11going on, but my wife wouldn't let me go. She was like,
- 1:14:14I don't I think it's gonna be bad. I don't want you to go,
- 1:14:15And so I didn't. And I'm a little like half regretting it because
- 1:14:20I think I could have gotten like some you know, pretty good footage and
- 1:14:25maybe spoke to some people. But I also think, well, you know
- 1:14:29what if they just start rounding up everyone who ever showed up. I mean,
- 1:14:32you know, they did, they detained people that did nothing wrong.
- 1:14:36They were just there. At worst, maybe they were trespassing. But being
- 1:14:41that it's a building that is literally paid for by us, the taxpayer,
- 1:14:45I don't, you know, I don't think there's anything wrong with walking in
- 1:14:48to the Capitol, you know, like through the front door like most people
- 1:14:53did so, but that doesn't matter, right, So I just, you
- 1:14:58know, it's it's real, really a shame like like this and the QAnon
- 1:15:01shaman and some of the other people. I think there was an old woman
- 1:15:05that was arrested. Um, it's ridiculous. What the mag of me?
- 1:15:11Ball? Yeah, yeah, that all she did was walk around. She
- 1:15:16take yep, she got her picture taken and they went and found her.
- 1:15:21So there was literally nothing. They don't care, though, because if they
- 1:15:27don't make it look like the Insurrection, you know, the worst, the
- 1:15:31darkest day in American history. They don't make it look like that by arresting
- 1:15:35people and scaring the shit out of them, which I think is the reason
- 1:15:39for it, then they'll they'll lose control of the narrative. Like when you
- 1:15:43start lying, you have to keep lying, and you have to make the
- 1:15:45lies bigger and more elaborate because you need to maintain this fiction. And that's
- 1:15:50what they did. And I I had a really dark take on this.
- 1:15:54Okay, the narrative doesn't matter. They don't give jack shit about the narrative,
- 1:16:00right, They don't care if anybody believes them. They know we don't.
- 1:16:05This wasn't about getting people to believe anything they said. This was about
- 1:16:13showing it doesn't matter if you're guilty. It doesn't matter if what you did
- 1:16:19was right or wrong. It doesn't matter if it was harmful or harmless.
- 1:16:25It doesn't matter if the FBI set you up. You still go to jail
- 1:16:32because they have the power to do it to you. That's what this was.
- 1:16:39This was a flex. This was a massive flex. This was about
- 1:16:45showing everybody that speaks out in a dissenting voice against the establishment that's in power
- 1:16:54right now, do this anymore and you will be crushed, will eventually get
- 1:17:01to us. Yeah, that's what I'm saying it. But there's no narrative.
- 1:17:08There's no none of it. Like they lit use narrative to to make
- 1:17:13it look like they're still trying to promote the narrative. And there will be
- 1:17:16people that are stupid enough to think that they care what the public thinks and
- 1:17:24if you just try to reason with them that that minds will change and things
- 1:17:28will improve. It's all bullshit, right, And that bullshit isn't just at
- 1:17:34the top, but the within the ranks of people in government power. Right.
- 1:17:40That bullshit goes all the way down to people you argue with on Twitter.
- 1:17:44There are people that you argue with on Facebook, Twitter, any other
- 1:17:47social media site. Regular Joe's your next door neighbor, the guy that lives
- 1:17:51across town from you, somebody that just waited on you at a gas station,
- 1:17:56that are full on, full fledged communist that are celebrating this, not
- 1:18:03because they just they think that justice has been done, not because they believe
- 1:18:09the narrative, but because they see the pattern that dissent against the establishment is
- 1:18:16being crushed on purpose, that fear is being spread among dissenters deliberately, that
- 1:18:28the establishment is flexing at dissenters after three years of allowing mostly peaceful raising of
- 1:18:40actual cities in the United States by communists, and they know that they're going
- 1:18:47to eventually cause people to lose hope. Well, yeah, I mean that
- 1:18:53doesn't really contradict what I said, because I'm saying they're creating a narrative,
- 1:18:58but they don't believe they're own bullshit. So yeah, they're they're not creating
- 1:19:01a narrative. They're sitting on a narrative. They're standing on a narrative.
- 1:19:05But they're not using it. They're not using it to persuade people, Right,
- 1:19:13They're why making it at all. They're not using it to know it's
- 1:19:17the key people from organizing. It's it's to make people think that that they
- 1:19:24have a different target than they really have. Right that you ever get into
- 1:19:29a fight with a bigger kid at the park and they decide to play with
- 1:19:33you because they're so much bigger than you are that you haven't got a chance
- 1:19:38in hell. So they start holding one hand up over by their shoulder.
- 1:19:42What's this hand? What's this hand? And they hit you in the back
- 1:19:44of the head with the other one. Right, Yeah, the narrative,
- 1:19:47the narrative is the hand you're supposed to watch. M hmm. Yeah.
- 1:19:54But what I'm saying it serves a purpose. They don't believe that. Obviously,
- 1:19:59don't believe the ship that they spew either. This is a really dark
- 1:20:02take, but I believe that the people within the establishment in the US have
- 1:20:13reached a point where they feel they have enough power that it doesn't matter what
- 1:20:17the dissenting viewpoint does at this point, whether it's whether they're right or not.
- 1:20:27They believe we're fucked and they can do shit like this to show us.
- 1:20:34This is a message, This is a flex and all of that narrative
- 1:20:39bullshit is for people who are dumb enough to think, well, let's just
- 1:20:44talk to them. Yeah, that's the hand you're supposed to watch. The
- 1:20:47other hand is the one that's coming around for your neck. Yeah, all
- 1:20:55right, well we got to move on. Let us know what you guys,
- 1:20:59think about this in the comments. Do you think that you know?
- 1:21:03I don't know. I just want to know your thoughts on what's happening,
- 1:21:06so let us know in the comments section. I look forward to seeing your
- 1:21:11thoughts on that. So now we will move on to the next story.
- 1:21:17So, despite what you may have been told in your gender studies class,
- 1:21:21a new study from the College Fix. This is from the College Fix.
- 1:21:26A new study shows that women are actually favored over men in hiring positions for
- 1:21:31stem fields. What my God, you don't say, Yeah, no,
- 1:21:39right. The authors of the paper reviewed academic studies from two thousand, so
- 1:21:45the year two thousand to the year twenty twenty and found that women are advantage
- 1:21:48over men when it comes to hiring. Their paper, exploring gender bias in
- 1:21:53six key domains of academic science and adversarial collaboration, also showed that ten year
- 1:22:00track women are paired or on parody with ten year track men in three domains
- 1:22:06grant funding, journal acceptance, and recommendation letters and quote. The authors said
- 1:22:13that quote, we synthesize the vast contradictory scholarly literature on gender bias in academic
- 1:22:18science from the year two thousand and two, twenty twenty. When it came
- 1:22:23to the salary gap, they found that it was concerning, but smaller than
- 1:22:28the oft quoted statistic that women in STEM fields make eighty two cents for every
- 1:22:32dollar that men make. No shit. On average, the gap was nine
- 1:22:38cents on the dollar, although the gap shrank to less than four cents when
- 1:22:42controlling for experience, types of institutions, and productivity, among other factors.
- 1:22:47Stephen Cessi, one of the papers authors, said that quote the report shows
- 1:22:51that institutions are putting money where it's not needed, such as the training aimed
- 1:22:57at rooting out bias on hiring committees, Because it's not. It's not training
- 1:23:02aimed at routing out bias. It's aimed at instilling bias. That's that's what
- 1:23:09the story is about. That's what happens when you drill it into people's heads.
- 1:23:14Or don't you be judging women? Judging women is bad? And kay?
- 1:23:18And when and when someone says it's what about bias against men? Should
- 1:23:24we avoid that too? You go, what, No, bias against men
- 1:23:28isn't a thing. It never happens. No, this is not a definitive
- 1:23:32example of me being biased against men. I just told you that's impossible.
- 1:23:38Oh look, everything's falling to ship. How weird. This is what academics
- 1:23:44are only just starting to figure out after years of scratching their heads and going
- 1:23:48huh, what gives? Yeah. Yeah. It turns out when you captively
- 1:23:53brainwash people to be biased against men and in favor of women, you've find
- 1:24:00yourself excluding all but the very best of the male candidates while pushing through even
- 1:24:05the very worst of female candidates. Employers are aware of this. Privately functioning
- 1:24:13employers have got wind of what's going on in universities where incompetent women are being
- 1:24:19held up on the same pedestal as the most competent men. So it stands
- 1:24:26to reason that any given qualified man is probably a sound investment, and any
- 1:24:31given qualified woman is probably a liability. And that appraisal of the situation is
- 1:24:39not misogyny. It's an accurate interpretation of the miscendry that goes on in educational
- 1:24:46institutions. The appropriate way to address this disparity would be for educational institutions to,
- 1:24:57you know, not do that, to give it a rest with the
- 1:25:00fucking miscendry. But that doesn't compute because miscendry isn't a thing. The pervading
- 1:25:08conclusion is that these private companies must be operating on misogynistic preserpositions. After all,
- 1:25:15misogyny is everything, It's what society is made of. So the pervading
- 1:25:21message is not, we're not missandric, you're misogynistic. So you corporate institutions
- 1:25:31need to adopt the same policies as as academic institutions, given that it's worked
- 1:25:36so well for us, my source, you say, I've fucking made up.
- 1:25:44Obviously, the first employers who capitulate to this kind of centrism are government
- 1:25:51faculties. They can afford to make these mistakes because they get their funding from
- 1:25:59the taxpayers. So if they need more money to cover the disastrous consequences of
- 1:26:03diversity hiring, they simply hike up the taxes yet again and go hooray,
- 1:26:11who needs reality. We could just throw money at the problem because we have
- 1:26:15millions of slaves that we can just steal money from forever. Like I said,
- 1:26:20it's only private companies who see through this ship because they can't afford not
- 1:26:26to. But then, of course the government comes in and forces those private
- 1:26:31companies to adopt the same miss andric policies. Sorry, sorry, anti misogynistic
- 1:26:36policies, and then we'll have fixed the problem. Private companies can't afford their
- 1:26:45staff to be forcibly saturated with incompetent women, given that they're not subsidized by
- 1:26:50the taxpayer. But hey, what's the worst that can happen the widespread destruction
- 1:26:56of every private business and the results monopolized market cornering by self centralized government agencies.
- 1:27:04Well, I suppose that's the sacrifice that we in the government are willing
- 1:27:09to make. And we've come full circle, as you can see within the
- 1:27:14several eccentric circles that we've drawn throughout these various stories in this episode. And
- 1:27:20and by the way, story number five will slide quite effortlessly into the pattern
- 1:27:26as well. I hope you all are keeping up with the connections. First
- 1:27:30comes Missonry, then comes communism, then comes Big Brother, and it cannot
- 1:27:36be stopped because almost everyone has already submitted to the missengry. You don't learn
- 1:27:44from history, and so you will keep repeating it. And I'm getting very
- 1:27:47close to just washing my hands of the lawyer. You deserve it, fucking
- 1:27:53punks. The lawyer is this is the feminist advocacy research scam in action.
- 1:28:00Really like you look at when I was in school in the seventies, there
- 1:28:06was a big kick to get more girls interested in math, more girls interested
- 1:28:12in science. They didn't use the acronym stem, but they were trying to
- 1:28:19get more girls in schools like mine interested in science and technology and get us,
- 1:28:29you know, going to too gifted classes and stuff like that, right,
- 1:28:33And they didn't really have gifted classes for people who were gifted at art
- 1:28:41or music or anything like that. They didn't have gifted gym class for for
- 1:28:47people who were at a girl in my class that probably could have been an
- 1:28:53Olympic gymnast. She'd wanted to us she wanted to be a farmer, but
- 1:29:00to in any case, like they didn't have any of that. Nope,
- 1:29:03it was just math, reading, science, people interested in tech, computers
- 1:29:11in particular, and girls especially. Right now, come along the eighties,
- 1:29:19I'm in junior high at this point, junior high, early late elementary school,
- 1:29:26early high school. There's all of a sudden another push to get girls
- 1:29:32interested in this stuff. And the weirdest thing was they acted like this had
- 1:29:36never been done before. Nobody ever had the idea to get girls involved in
- 1:29:45science and technology and math before Nope, not at all. We started hearing
- 1:29:50about girls being engineers and stuff started. I started getting actually a little pressure
- 1:29:59from teachers to consider that career. That would have been a disaster because I
- 1:30:04didn't have the mindfulness that you need to be an engineer back then at all.
- 1:30:10I'd have been the one making the collapsing bridge. But you know,
- 1:30:15I get most of the way through high school and my senior year, all
- 1:30:20of a sudden, there's this new cycle of, hey, we gotta get
- 1:30:25girls interested in math and science and technology. It's like it starts at the
- 1:30:29beginning of the decade in a sort of Peter's out middle. You know,
- 1:30:34as these grifter organizations that are running this cycle get to the end of the
- 1:30:42programs they started for it, and it the interest in those programs starts to
- 1:30:46die. So it doesn't surprise me that research done in the early twentieth or
- 1:30:54twenty first century discovered that there was bias toward women and girls in hiring that
- 1:31:00early because they'd already been doing that for thirty years, right, They'd already
- 1:31:08been doing that the whole time I was in school, over and over and
- 1:31:13over again. The programs were just starting to peter out as I got into
- 1:31:16school as as a little kid in the first grade, and then started up
- 1:31:21again, uh you know as as later elementary, and then started up again,
- 1:31:27um as as I get into junior high school. And this is basically
- 1:31:31what feminists do. Like they make up a victim class, which, you
- 1:31:39know, some group of women has been victimized in a way that no other
- 1:31:42women have been victimized before. Um. And then then they fight for this
- 1:31:46victim class, vehemently, of course, and and they win the fight,
- 1:31:53and they wait, you know, a while, and then they do say
- 1:31:56they started all over again, get new laws passed, get new ending,
- 1:32:00and then wait a while, and then pretend it never happened before, and
- 1:32:03they do it again and lo and behold, it's a miracle. There's no
- 1:32:09more disadvantage. But you can't report that, which is why this is like
- 1:32:13from what two thousand, but we're hearing about it in twenty twenty three.
- 1:32:20Well, yeah, it's a never ending thing. That's why we're not.
- 1:32:25Nobody here is surprised by this. And on top of that like it now
- 1:32:29that they're I mean, I think this has been going on for a while
- 1:32:31too this did this d I e U Diversity Inclusion equity, Um, you
- 1:32:38know initiatives that's been going on for a long time too, but um,
- 1:32:44you know it's the DIE initiative. Yeah, the Die initiative. I know
- 1:32:47that it's supposed to be d e I, but come on, die,
- 1:32:50but it's better. Die is way more appropriate. Yeah, so you know,
- 1:32:56Um, I mean again, doesn't surprise me? Will Will it change
- 1:33:00anything? Probably not? I mean knowing this doesn't really matter. I would
- 1:33:03only hope that, you know, somebody who runs a company somewhere will do
- 1:33:10will hire based on merit instead of um, you know, women's or whatever
- 1:33:15other oppressed group needs to be prioritized made Huh, who must we call it
- 1:33:23made? Missundric assistance in dying? If we're going to use euphanism, So
- 1:33:29let's go the whole hull. Yeah, I might as well go all in.
- 1:33:31Um speaking of of you know, like hiring people that might not be
- 1:33:38qualified for the job. The last story. We're gonna get to it in
- 1:33:41a second. I want to give people a chance to, um respond to
- 1:33:45this, but I will say that it's it's it's relevant to the thing we're
- 1:33:48just talking about. So does anyone else have anything to say about this um
- 1:33:53women in stem story? Yeah again, not surprised. All right, So
- 1:33:59we're gonna move on to last story. We're gonna be talking about some firefighters
- 1:34:02in Canada and what sets them apart from everyone else. So Mike K good.
- 1:34:10Oh boy. So Canada hosted its first ever Women in Firefighting Training shame
- 1:34:19during the first two weeks of May, and uh, well things got a
- 1:34:26little hot. Yeah. Oh, So the w t R e X was
- 1:34:30held in Bamp, Alberta. I thought was Baniff for a second, but
- 1:34:35the I realized there was no eye. So it's just Bamp, which sounds
- 1:34:40like a comic book sound effect, Nightcrawlers Teleport sounds like that. But it
- 1:34:44is a place for a reason. Yeah, it is a place in the
- 1:34:47mountains. There was supposed to be really nice springs of My wife used to
- 1:34:51go there all the time. Allison and Jonathan took me there, like yeah,
- 1:34:58and then in twenty fifty it's it's rich as fuck. They very uh
- 1:35:04do well. People go there. They have these beautiful sort of springs that
- 1:35:10they use as as pools and such. And when you when you walk down
- 1:35:15the street, you can just tell it it's really why they have these bill
- 1:35:17up places. It's posh. It's posh as fuck. Bet it is even
- 1:35:23by Canadian standards. Yeah. So, as held in bamp Albert of this
- 1:35:30year inside the National Park, where, among other goals, a female led
- 1:35:34team of firefighters were to conduct a controlled burn. Purpose of the burn was
- 1:35:41to cut down on the risk of wildfires, but due to a sudden and
- 1:35:45unexpected stiff in both wind speed and direction, the fire soon grew out of
- 1:35:53control. The now out of control fire soon took over three hectakers and require
- 1:36:00the help of five helicopters in order to campaign. This mishap occurs as Alberta
- 1:36:06is still under a state of emergency as almost one million acres of forest has
- 1:36:13burned in Western Canada as a result of various wildfires. Is it wrong to
- 1:36:18find is it wrong to find this so hilarious? But I think that qualified
- 1:36:25not at all. That's why I say it last. Wildfires aren't traditionally supposed
- 1:36:30to be funny, but you know, irondy exists regardless of the tragedy that
- 1:36:36comes along with it, and irony is technically funny as close as you can
- 1:36:41get to objectively funny. But the humor is only going to last any appreciable
- 1:36:45amount of time if a lesson is actually learned from it, If you if
- 1:36:51you realize what you did wrong again, then we can continue to smile at
- 1:36:58the situation because as tragic as it was, it led to an outcome where
- 1:37:03we never make that mistake again. But I have to wonder if the morons
- 1:37:09who did this are ever going to learn that lesson to a lesson being when
- 1:37:15you exclude men from an important task, you severely handicap your ability to deal
- 1:37:20with that task. So don't exclude men because stupid fucking misstandric dipshits. Do
- 1:37:28you think, well, do you think they're gonna look, here's the funny
- 1:37:31thing about that, as far as they can tell, men weren't excluded.
- 1:37:35Okay. So this is the blurb that followed the call for applicants for this
- 1:37:42wtr EX thing. Wtr X is an opportunity to engage participants of all different
- 1:37:50genders, ethnic and racial backgrounds to explore the growing role of women in fire
- 1:37:57managements, while also serving as an opportunity to enhance their understanding of incident commands,
- 1:38:02system, fire ecology, communications, outreach leadership Prescribed fire planning and more
- 1:38:08so of all different genders to explore the growing role of women. Yeah,
- 1:38:15when they say when they say all different genders, they mean all genders accept
- 1:38:18men. Yeah, they wouldn't say it for any other reason. They're literally
- 1:38:23excluding men. But but a trans woman, maybe they should have sent a
- 1:38:27team of trans women firefighters in there, because that probably would have worked out
- 1:38:30better. A trans woman would have would be okay, and any like regular
- 1:38:36woman that identifies as non binary or whatever to spirit whatever they're doing in Canada,
- 1:38:42that would be all the fine. But whenever they say all genders,
- 1:38:45they mean not men. That's all it means. And it's not as though
- 1:38:49the conducting an operation where where a firefighter has to pull an unconscious person from
- 1:38:58the building. It for that you would need someone with as much upper body
- 1:39:01strength as possible. This this is just pointing fire hoses out of fire and
- 1:39:06trying to put out of the fire. You wouldn't think you would need up
- 1:39:10a body strength of that just enough to operate a fire hose. I mean,
- 1:39:15you just need a team of women can back that up. It's like
- 1:39:19it's like it's like a rope in a tug of war. As long as
- 1:39:23you've got enough people you can get. But evidently even they couldn't even sort
- 1:39:29that out with with this man excluding the situation. And like I said,
- 1:39:36do you think that they're gonna learn that lesson that when you exclude men from
- 1:39:44a thing, even the organizational part of it is going to fall down then.
- 1:39:49And this is Canada we're talking about, remember, possibly the world's most
- 1:39:54militantly feminist country. Are they going to say to themselves, what's today?
- 1:39:59Is it? That was our bad? We won't do it again? I
- 1:40:01don't think they are. They're gonna stick with Oh well, it is a
- 1:40:06freak occurrence, what with the shift in the wind, and one they could
- 1:40:10have happened to anyone. It's just a coincidence that it never happens to a
- 1:40:15firefighting force that doesn't exclude men. And they'll do it again. I honestly
- 1:40:19think the same thing will happen again and again and again. Canadian feminists would
- 1:40:25literally rather burn down the entire country than admit they were wrong. Metaphorically speaking,
- 1:40:30They've been well on their way to doing that for ages. What's to
- 1:40:33stop them doing it? Literally? Who's to stop them doing it? Literally?
- 1:40:38Trudeau? Yeah, good luck with that. Look, here's here's the
- 1:40:43thing about diversity hires. That's not what gets companies to hire people who are
- 1:40:48female, or people of color, or people with trained status or anything else.
- 1:40:54Right, companies will hire who's going to do best for the company.
- 1:41:00And when you're when you're dealing with most government agencies, that's not true.
- 1:41:03But when you're dealing with fire departments, they need to get the best.
- 1:41:10They have standards. They have to have standards or they can't do what they
- 1:41:15exist to do. So up until the point where we started mandating diversity hiring
- 1:41:26in fire departments, fire departments are generally pretty effective in what they do.
- 1:41:33There were female firefighters. Like when the apartment complex that I live in,
- 1:41:42one of the buildings actually building perpendicular to mind caught fire, they had a
- 1:41:47couple of fire trucks. They had a team of firefighters came here, put
- 1:41:50the fire out, help people. There was a woman among them. She
- 1:41:57was about six foot six foot two somewhere in there. She was a nice,
- 1:42:00tall, strong woman. And the only way that you could tell she
- 1:42:05was female was when she finally everything was done and over with and she took
- 1:42:14some of her head gear off and you could see she had long blonde hair,
- 1:42:19but she was not I wouldn't have been able to do that job.
- 1:42:26She was not built like me, all right, she wasn't quite built like
- 1:42:30a man, but she was not built like me. You could tell she
- 1:42:33was not a diversity higher. And I've worked in different areas where you have
- 1:42:42women there already, and then you get a diversity higher woman and she's all
- 1:42:47about, I'm here because I'm a woman. I'm a woman, and I
- 1:42:50can do everything the men can do, and blah blah blah blah, and
- 1:42:54gets jack and shit done nothing because she's a diversity and she doesn't have to
- 1:43:00and you're not allowed to criticize her because she's a diversity higher, right,
- 1:43:04And she'll shit on every other woman that has done the job before her,
- 1:43:11just like diversity gamers will shit on every other girl who happens to be a
- 1:43:18gamer or a gamer who happens to be a girl gamer who also happens to
- 1:43:24be black gamer, who happens to have a disability that just you know,
- 1:43:30that's their lifestyle. They do this, and they happen to be to fit
- 1:43:34these diversity standards, but it's not their identity, and it destroys professions.
- 1:43:45It destroys job locations, it destroys work cruised work teams, it destroys work
- 1:43:56environments for people. And I think that may be the case here too,
- 1:44:01Like there probably have been plenty of great fruit female firefighters, not anywhere near
- 1:44:10as many as there are great male firefighters, but plenty until you get this
- 1:44:18diversity hire shit, and then you get women who get hired not because they
- 1:44:25can do the job, but because we need more women in firefighting, and
- 1:44:30suddenly you have miss taps like this, you know, and I like the
- 1:44:33same thing happens in STEM. I have a cousin who got a job with
- 1:44:40ODOT as an engineer, not because she was a woman, but because when
- 1:44:46she went in to apply for her job, they had a computer breakdown,
- 1:44:53complete utter problem in terms of their signmaking computers, and none of them could
- 1:45:00figure out. They're like, well, we can't even talk about hiring for
- 1:45:03this job because we just now we can't make the signs we need to make.
- 1:45:06So it's going to be delayed for a couple of weeks while we get
- 1:45:11someone in here to figure this shit out. So she says, well,
- 1:45:15can I see the instruction manual? And they let her see the instruction manual.
- 1:45:19She goes, can I take this home and bring it back tomorrow?
- 1:45:24They let her. Next day, she went in and started printing their signs
- 1:45:27and she had a job. Like, that's how you get a job.
- 1:45:30That's you don't. You don't get a job by going in and sticking your
- 1:45:34tits out and going hire me, diversity woo, because you fail if you're
- 1:45:40going to do that, right, you go in and you show them that
- 1:45:43you can do the job. But but yeah, that's that's where we are
- 1:45:47now. You get a job now by sticking your tits out and yelling diversity
- 1:45:54woo and burning down forests. Great. So, one of the very interesting
- 1:46:01things that I spotted in here in the article that we based this off from,
- 1:46:06the counter signal, Parks Canada maintains that all of the ladies in this
- 1:46:14training program were firefighting certified. However, if you look at the WTRX call
- 1:46:21for applicants, which is still up by the way, all it says is
- 1:46:29you need to only have completed an introductory level course to firefighting. Yeah,
- 1:46:36and that doesn't smack to me of someone who's ready to take on a controlled
- 1:46:44burn. Well, it doesn't sound like certified if an introductory course just not
- 1:46:49certification. Yeah, well you're all a bunch of misogynists. If a woman
- 1:46:54identifies us certified, then she is certified. At least I'm not a flaming
- 1:46:59misogynt. Yes, I do live with a misogyn therapist. All it's got
- 1:47:09to work out on your slogy means there we go, my knees needed.
- 1:47:15So yeah, shackunaw diversity hires backfire literally no pun intended. Um, all
- 1:47:27right, so let's see do we get any more super chat super chowse Uh?
- 1:47:31Does anyone else have a question? What? Yeah? If they're gonna
- 1:47:36do a controlled burn, why the fuck do you do it in a national
- 1:47:42forest? Like? But it's it's like having a controlled meeting of the pedophiles
- 1:47:53at a preschool, Like, what the fuck? A control just halfway in
- 1:48:00the middle, Hannah, We can do a controlled burn of the pedophiles in
- 1:48:02a national force. Yeah, we could just kill two, one or two
- 1:48:08pedophiles at one fire. There you go. Um, but imagine like the
- 1:48:13backfire there would be we attract more pedophiles than we can actually burn. Yeah.
- 1:48:16See the only problem is when people catch on fire, we flail around
- 1:48:21and like fling bits. I've only done that once. Mhmm, but it
- 1:48:31does happen. So then you end up with an out of control fire again,
- 1:48:38so you have to do the controlled burn somewhere else. Yeah. Well,
- 1:48:46well like maybe a ginormous fucking parking lot that's been emptied out or something.
- 1:48:53Yeah, well someplace where it wouldn't spread, is what you're saying.
- 1:48:57Yes, yeah, that would make sense. That would that would be sensible.
- 1:49:00Yeah, that would send a boy to do a man's job or a
- 1:49:04woman or a fuck wit. Yeah, you know, I was going to
- 1:49:11mention that. Um, it's funny because Lindsay when she was a little younger,
- 1:49:17like in her twenties, she was working, she worked really hard because
- 1:49:24she wanted to be a firefighter or one of these specifically these women, like
- 1:49:30it's like a forest you know, um, firefighting person, I don't know
- 1:49:35what you would call it. And she had to, like she just went
- 1:49:41above and beyond. I think that she just didn't get the job, even
- 1:49:46though she was pretty sure, like she did all of the physical stuff and
- 1:49:49all of that, and the standards were high obviously they had to be,
- 1:49:55and she was disappointed in that. But then again, at that time,
- 1:50:00you know, at least you know, the the assumption is like male or
- 1:50:04female. They were just going to pick the best people, and Lindsay wasn't
- 1:50:10one of the best people, even though she did really well in her mind.
- 1:50:15Obviously I wasn't there. But it's when I when this story came out.
- 1:50:18I told her about it, and she was like, oh, I
- 1:50:19want to do that story, but Mike Jay took it first. It doesn't
- 1:50:23matter. But um, yeah, I mean it's just something that something next
- 1:50:27time. I would love her have it. Yeah, no, no,
- 1:50:29it's okay. It was I should have bring her own say oh, she's
- 1:50:33in the other room watching the dog. Um bring the dog too. Yeah.
- 1:50:40I would probably have things to say, but I mean, like,
- 1:50:43there isn't She said that she doesn't really feel like you could add much.
- 1:50:45I just wanted to mention that, you know this, um, she was
- 1:50:50trying to get into this firefighting like job. It was, but for her
- 1:50:58it wasn't. It wasn't something so that she can just say, oh,
- 1:51:01you know, I'm a woman and you know hear me roar, like this
- 1:51:04is like a feminist firefighting thing, right. She wouldn't want to be a
- 1:51:09part of that because she wanted to pass on her own merits. She wanted
- 1:51:14to qualify, and even though she met all of the criteria, I think
- 1:51:20she still didn't get the job because probably there were other people who you know,
- 1:51:26did even better and they were only looking for so many positions. And
- 1:51:30that's just the nature of the beast. It's not sexism. I even asked
- 1:51:32her, were you the only woman there? She was like, no,
- 1:51:35there were other women there too, and they were, you know, again
- 1:51:40very fit. She was really fit and at the time, and they were
- 1:51:45doing their best. I don't know who got the job, but the point
- 1:51:47is it was merit at the time, even though you know, I guess
- 1:51:53like Lindsay could have if she wanted to. She probably could have, like
- 1:51:57you know, kicked up a bunch of shit to like get the job based
- 1:52:00on diversity hires or whatever, but then she would be bad at it,
- 1:52:04and she didn't want to be bad at it. She wanted to do the
- 1:52:06job, so I think that, you know, um, obviously, it's
- 1:52:12a disservice to men because they get passed over in the name of inclusion,
- 1:52:18diversity, and equity, but it also hurts women too because if they're working
- 1:52:25really hard to get it, and they get it, they're always going to
- 1:52:28be wondering if they got it because they earned it, or if they got
- 1:52:30it because you know, like they were meeting a quota, they were ticking
- 1:52:33a box. And of course, if you're in a job as serious as
- 1:52:39fighting fires, the biggest victims potentially of this are the victims of fires,
- 1:52:45like like the forests. Yeah, yeah, they don't don't They don't give
- 1:52:49a shit when you go between your legs. Yeah so yeah, deer and
- 1:52:54bears and rabbits and shit. They don't care about gender diversity. No,
- 1:52:58no, like you say gender diversity to a bear, it's still going to
- 1:53:00eat you. Yeah, exactly, like take the white on your first right.
- 1:53:08But but you know the other thing that happens with this UM fire department.
- 1:53:14Fire Department of New York UH started lowering their UM standards in like twenty
- 1:53:20twelve, twenty thirteen to UH to get more women on the department. And
- 1:53:29like, there there are some things that are kind of useful if you have
- 1:53:33UM people panicking in a house, sometimes you know they might be more manageable
- 1:53:43by one sex or the other. Like I if I was in a panic
- 1:53:46and a fire, I think I would probably just grab onto the first person
- 1:53:49to get me out of there. But little kids might be afraid of a
- 1:53:54man they don't know. But part of the reason that women are so dangerous
- 1:53:59to little kids when they're unscrupulous is also beneficial when they're they're good women that
- 1:54:06want to help kids. So a woman might be able to get a kid
- 1:54:12to come out of hiding so they can get the kid out of the fire.
- 1:54:14Right, there's things like that that are important. They do want them
- 1:54:16for some things. Um, kids might talk to female EMTs more too,
- 1:54:24And there's there's just some things that that uh because of the way kids are
- 1:54:30raised to assume women are safe. Um, you have to have women in
- 1:54:34certain jobs. But if you diversity higher women and you lower standards to let
- 1:54:41them in, like FDNN, why did you get a corresponding rise in injuries
- 1:54:46in the next few years afterward among your team? And it's it's not just
- 1:54:54the women. They had more injuries when they they increased um or they decreased
- 1:55:00their standards to increase diversity. They started seeing more injuries during training, and
- 1:55:09it's things like people lifting wrong or lifting too much, turning their ankles,
- 1:55:16overdoing it, having heat sickness and stuff like that. That was a problem.
- 1:55:21And there's two things that happen there. One of them is, of
- 1:55:25course, the women try to push themselves to keep up with the men,
- 1:55:28and the men try to push themselves to outdo the women. And if the
- 1:55:31women are in trouble, the men try to help the women, and so
- 1:55:36both sexes end up getting injured doing things they would not have done prior.
- 1:55:44So it's an interesting effect that needs to be overcome, and the standards need
- 1:55:49to be just as high for the women as they are for the men in
- 1:55:54order to avoid creating circumstances where that's likely to happen. All right, thank
- 1:56:04you for that. I think we're good. I think we're gonna wrap it
- 1:56:10up here. So a little bit, a little bit of a longer sausage,
- 1:56:14but um well, uh yeah, it's still still fine. So all
- 1:56:19right, I hit the wrong button. There we go. So we're gonna
- 1:56:23go to the patron only show and maybe talk a little bit about what we
- 1:56:26talked about on the show, if there's anything that was left unsaid, or
- 1:56:30if someone one of our patrons wants to mention something or bring up a perspective.
- 1:56:35And we're also gonna look at this article that where actress Evangeline Lily says
- 1:56:41society is villainizing masculinity and applauding femininity in men. So I think that that's
- 1:56:47very true and I but that's just based on our headline. I haven't read
- 1:56:50the article yet, but I will in the patrons show. So if you
