- 0:04Little Thursday thunder coming to you a little closer to home. I'm on a street. I'm on a road. It's unbelievable. Pepper is on a leash. What's going on? You think I'm depriving him of his happiness? No, his happiness just happened. And in fact, he's still happy because we're still outside. This episode today of Thursday Thunder and the repossible podcast is all about happiness. And how do you get it? You want to know how you get it? By giving it to others. There you go. I just told you right there in the first 27 seconds of this video, give happiness to others and you will receive even more.
- 0:37It's a simple truth. And it's so simple that it seems unbelievable because it seems too simple. And people wonder, how can that be? And yet that's the simplicity of it. That's how it works. So that's it. It is. And this came from not just Pepper, who's happy every single day, but from one of the participants in my one retreat ten days ago now, where he wrote me an email and said, I just ordered my hardcover book, exclamation points, party emojis, happy faces, clapping hands, jumping for joy, rocket ships, sparks, firecrackers, everything. Because he ordered his book, he is over the moon. He is happy. He is feeling rejoiceful in ordering the book that he created. And thus, that is my happiness. Through his happiness, you follow it. It's really simple. And in fact, it's so simple, people overlook it. Help other people be happy, and you will be happy. That's it. Give them the tools that, you know, work, things that, you know, have helped you become happy and help them get there so that they can become happy, too. And the beauty secret weapon of this is that you will become happier through their happiness. I'm at two minutes and I am done. Did you catch all that? It was so simple, it might have snuck by in this little video. Remember, I'm on the street, pepper's on a leash. You'd think like, this is a bad day, although there is blue sky. So that's one of the secrets to happiness, is helping someone else achieve a goal that ideally, you can help them achieve. In this case, it was one of the participants in my one word, one book in one day for one year retreat that happened last week. It's going to happen again July 20, if you're in the Netherlands and interested.
- 2:40If not, we'll be doing it online in the future, and ideally in person in the future as well. But for now, July 20, 2024 outside of Utrecht.
- 2:51And that's it. That's how I am becoming more happy, by making other people happy. You know, you could almost replace this word with, like, meaning or joy or purpose. I have helped them find some meaning, find some clarity, find some purpose, and thus also delivering happiness through that. Happiness is kind of the end result. You could also add pride in there. So look at all those benefits. And all these benefits come from me giving them something, giving them a piece of my knowledge, giving them some experience that I had, helping them, experiencing it, helping them experience it and helping them finish it. That's it. That's all we got. I'm at three and a half minutes. I am doing awesome today. And that's it for today. For the Thursday Thunder, I'm Bradley Charbonneau. This is repossible podcast and Thursday Thunder short episode this week because I. I want to keep it simple, I want to keep it fast, and I want to keep it powerful. That's one of the only things you need to get happiness, is to help others be happy. That's it. See you next week. Amber home.
