Transcript
- 0:03Happy Monday morning everybody. Sunday night in Richmond.
- 0:10NASCAR is back after the two week Olympic break and boy did
- 0:15they come back strong, bigger, better.
- 0:18We never saw it coming. NASCAR headed on had hit a home
- 0:23run with the three different tire compounds they had the
- 0:27what? Hard, medium, soft and as old
- 0:31Larry Mac Reynolds say, we had some comers and we had some
- 0:35goers. What that means is we got some
- 0:37tires that were soft and those guys went to the front and then
- 0:41we had some guys that tires wore out or they might have chose the
- 0:44wrong tires and they went to the back.
- 0:47And that was the story. We thought, boy, this is a good
- 0:50race and with several laps to go, Austin Dillon is going to
- 0:55win. The three is back.
- 0:57He's legitimately going to win this race.
- 0:59He's gone. Remember now for a for a for a
- 1:04long time at the end of this race.
- 1:08Austin Dillon in the number three is back.
- 1:11He's going to win. He's going to win.
- 1:13He's got a straightaway lead, 2 to go, 4 to go, 6 to go,
- 1:16whatever it is. Austin Dillon in the number
- 1:19three car is going to win the race.
- 1:21Now, this is key because he's driving the number three.
- 1:25He's driving the Earnhardt car, right?
- 1:28Richard Childress is still the owner.
- 1:31It's the same owner. Richard Childress is the same
- 1:35owner as when the great Dale Earnhardt senior is driving that
- 1:39car. So this number three cars got a
- 1:42lot of history at that track. Google it, YouTube it.
- 1:48The number 3 going into the old #3 turn at Richmond.
- 1:54So the number three is on the outside.
- 1:58This is the, this is the moment you want to, you want to go back
- 2:01to Dale Earnhardt senior in the number three on the outside of
- 2:06Darryl Waltrip in the Budweiser car.
- 2:09So Darryl Waltrip got underneath the number three of Dale Senior.
- 2:15They're going down the back straightaway and and Dale
- 2:19Senior's pissed that he's getting past.
- 2:21So Senior takes his left front and turns left and just takes
- 2:26out Darrell Walter just wrecks him.
- 2:29Sure that all get out brutal hooks and spins him into the
- 2:34they all wreck. Joe Rutman should have won that
- 2:37race, but Kyle Petty ended up making it through the melee.
- 2:40Kyle Petty wins that race. All right, Herman, where are you
- 2:44going with this? My point is this it was OK for
- 2:50senior to wreck everybody and get away with it.
- 2:52Oh, but hold on. This coffee with Kenny is going
- 2:56to be all the reasons it was not OK for Austin Dillon to win this
- 3:04race. All right, so I told you
- 3:07everything right there. I gave you the disclaimer.
- 3:11Austin Dillon in the three was going to win the race.
- 3:15There's a there's a caution. Austin Dillon comes out of the
- 3:19pits. He's still leading the race.
- 3:21Great pit stop by the number three and Joey Logano comes out
- 3:27of the pit second. All right, Joey Logano does a
- 3:30good, good job. He does what NASCAR says you're
- 3:33not supposed to do. Joey Logano lags back a half a
- 3:37car length or more slow rolls. The three gets the better jump,
- 3:43gets the better jump right and rolls into one and takes off
- 3:48into the lead. Joey Logano's going to win this
- 3:50race. Joey Logano's going to win
- 3:53Richmond. He's going to steal the win away
- 3:57from Austin Dillon in the number three.
- 4:00Stick with me here. There's going to be a good
- 4:02punchline here. All right, now all of a sudden
- 4:07Austin Dillon's like Oh my God, I cannot lose this race.
- 4:12Panic sets in. It said in to me.
- 4:15I did the same thing. Google me, same racetrack, same
- 4:21corner. I'm in the the red dog car in
- 4:24the in the Bush series. There you go.
- 4:25I said Bush series for you. Oh my God, Wallace said Bush
- 4:29series, Xfinity series. So I'm in the red dog car there
- 4:341996 and I LED this whole damn race and I come out of the pits
- 4:39and 3rd with a like 5 laps to go.
- 4:43I dispatched of the 2nd place car and then I got to I got to a
- 4:48David Green and he held the bottom.
- 4:50I popped him right in the ass, moved him up the track.
- 4:52I didn't spin him out, popped him in the ass.
- 4:54I won the race. David Green was pissed about it
- 4:57but he got over it and in the rightful car won the race.
- 5:01Me, I was supposed to win that race because I led the whole son
- 5:05of a bitch. So I won the race because I
- 5:07popped David Green in the ass, moving him up the track, and I
- 5:10was gone. He could not catch me.
- 5:14All right, there you go. Austin Dillon's going to win the
- 5:18race and he gets slow rolled by Joe Logano on that restart.
- 5:23Joe Logano's going to win the race, except for you got the
- 5:28spotter in Austin Dillon's ear. Wrecking, wrecking.
- 5:35Now, here's the key. Hold on, hold, hold on, hold on.
- 5:41Austin Dillon does not say I'm going to wreck him.
- 5:45Just because your spotter says wreck him doesn't mean you're
- 5:47wrecking. So I don't think that's going to
- 5:50hold up in court. The spotter might say wrecking,
- 5:53the spotter might get in trouble wrecking.
- 5:57But you know, Austin Dillon did not say I'm going to wreck him.
- 6:02Somebody else said that. Then you got Johnny Morris,
- 6:06who's the owner of Bass Pro Shops in in in the pit area.
- 6:13You got dad, you got your teammate Kyle Busch not running
- 6:20good. You see this, you gather all up,
- 6:23you understanding the three leading the whole race comes out
- 6:27of the pits. First Johnny Morris, the owner
- 6:30of Bass Pro Shops in there. I can be.
- 6:33I can win before Kyle Busch. All of this, all this is in
- 6:37Austin Dillon's head. He's going to win the race and
- 6:39he gets slow rolled on the restart by Joey Logano.
- 6:43Logano's going to win the race. How do you save the day?
- 6:49You go down in the corner last lap like I did or like, remember
- 6:54I told you like Dale Earnhardt senior did because Darrell
- 7:00Waltrip passed him clean at the old fairgrounds, the old
- 7:04Richmond Fairgrounds. Look at that replay somebody's
- 7:06going to post. Hey, post that right here where
- 7:11senior hooks left front in the right rear and sends Darryl in
- 7:15the wall and Kyle Petty wins the race.
- 7:19OK, so he pops Joey the gun on the ass, spins, spins him out,
- 7:25sees the lemon card coming by, hooks him, spins him out.
- 7:28He wins the race. All right, we all know that now
- 7:32the three ends up winning the race.
- 7:34But here's all I hear. Here's all I hear.
- 7:37Austin Dillon is not Dale Senior nepotism.
- 7:44Austin Dillon spoiled. He shouldn't have won the race
- 7:46because he spoiled people that won't hold up in court.
- 7:53Nobody cares. Only you do.
- 7:57And here, let me end like this. You all want to know my opinion.
- 8:02I gave you my opinion last night.
- 8:05This is coffee with Kenny. My opinion was this what Austin
- 8:12Dillon was wrong? I said it last night.
- 8:15Yes, I yelled at what Austin Dillon did was wrong, but that's
- 8:22the way the number three team roles anytime senior did that.
- 8:26The flying aces chocolate Mars. Look at his timeline right here.
- 8:30Next last night, chocolate Mars is right here.
- 8:34Says, man, that was a great race and a lot of these drivers have
- 8:37short memories. I'm going to leave you with
- 8:39this. This is a good one.
- 8:46Austin Dillon is the bad guy now?
- 8:49Really. So you're telling me the good
- 8:52guy now is Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin?
- 8:56Hold on. Are you kidding me?
- 9:01Are you kidding me? I can't believe what Austin
- 9:06Dillon did. He took out my man Joey Logano
- 9:09and Denny Hamlin said no one ever people.
- 9:14You can't have it both ways. You can't have it both ways now
- 9:18my man Mark Martin. Well, let's try to get Mark on
- 9:23here. Let's try to get Mark on here
- 9:25later on. Charlie Marlow won't be back
- 9:29till the 16th, That's the only reason.
- 9:31But we will have Mark on here, Mark said.
- 9:34Mark was funny, Mark said. After the whole fiasco, Mark
- 9:37Martin said, good grief. I think we all said that.
- 9:43But now we're just breaking it down.
- 9:45Mark Martin was the man that treated competitors with grace
- 9:51and dignity. He's got me beat.
- 9:54I, you know, that's all there is to it.
- 9:56But nowadays with these playoffs back then you didn't have the
- 10:02pressure would mark a race like that.
- 10:04Nowadays respond right here. Back then you just, there was no
- 10:10playoffs. Everybody was in the race till
- 10:12the very end. And you know, nowadays it's like
- 10:15you got three more races, you got three more races to get in
- 10:18the playoffs or you're nobody, you are nobody.
- 10:22You, you, you'll be out of the top 16 and we won't pay
- 10:25attention to you, you see. So it's different nowadays.
- 10:30There's a lot of pressure and at the very end, Austin Dillon says
- 10:34I cannot be leading this race and lose it.
- 10:38I'm going to win this damn race. I'm going to do with the 22 of
- 10:41Joey Logano did the Mack and Seth going into Turn 1 at Kansas
- 10:5030 years ago, six years ago, it seems like that.
- 10:56And, and you know, Danny's no choirboy, so I'll leave you with
- 11:02this again for the third time. The funny thing about all this
- 11:05is Austin Dillon took out two of the most hated drivers in
- 11:10NASCAR, and some people got their pants in a wad.
- 11:16Oh my God, I love it. All right, like Uncle Rusty
- 11:20said, I was the good guy and Darryl Waltrip was the bad guy.
- 11:24And in the Winston I got into Darryl's left for a quarter
- 11:27panel and all of a sudden I become the bad guy and Darryl
- 11:30was the good guy respond right here is Austin Dillon the
- 11:38nepotism. He's a crybaby.
- 11:41He he didn't is that what's pissed you off because all these
- 11:45guys are wrecked each other is what got you mad is that
- 11:49nepotism I I I read this all last night.
- 11:54Some of you are pissed because you say Austin Dillon nepotism.
- 11:58He shouldn't be driving for his grandpa.
- 12:01Is that what is that what what it really is?
- 12:03Because it doesn't make sense. All these other guys have
- 12:06wrecked each other forever to win a race in ending on the ref.
- 12:11Austin Dillon's the winner. All right, Austin Dillon is the
- 12:15winner. Now NASCAR is going to come out.
- 12:17They're going to find the spotter.
- 12:18I said it. I said it.
- 12:21They're going to find the spotter because the spotter said
- 12:26wreck him. But you can't find Austin Dillon
- 12:28because he didn't say anything. He didn't say anything.
- 12:32OK, now they might, they might find Austin Dillon and they
- 12:36might slap him on the wrist. What I see is I see a penalty
- 12:39coming out for the spotter. A spotter should not be going to
- 12:44wreck him. Wreck him.
- 12:46And as of right now, that's that's what we have reported by
- 12:50Bob Procrast. Bob Pacras said that and they
- 12:56asked Richard Childress about it.
- 12:58He said, don't believe everything you hear.
- 13:00Of course there's proof. All right there.
- 13:03All right, everybody, I hope you enjoyed coffee with Kenny this
- 13:06morning. You can't break this down in No
- 13:088 minutes. I deem Austin Dillon the winner
- 13:13for everything. I just told you, you cannot
- 13:16drive like a gentleman anymore because these cars are like
- 13:20bulldozers and back in the day they wrecked the hell out of
- 13:25each other and there was not even playoffs for the Daytona
- 13:29500. You watched Kale Yarborough get
- 13:32underneath Donnie Allison coming to the checkered and Donnie
- 13:35turned left on me and they wrecked their balls off going
- 13:39into Turn 3 at Daytona. You watched, you know, those 2GO
- 13:44at it, and you watched Richard Petty, I believe, go ahead and
- 13:47win the race or whoever it was. They've been wrecking each other
- 13:52forever. This is violent nowadays.
- 13:55It's in your face. And the reason they're doing it
- 13:58is because there's a lot on the line.
- 14:02If you are not, listen to me. This is key.
- 14:05If you are not in the top 16 for the playoffs, you're nobody.
- 14:10They don't care about you. They might as well send the rest
- 14:12of the cars on. They might as well just start
- 14:1416. And ladies and gentlemen, here
- 14:17are the top 16 and there's the rest.
- 14:21That's why people drive differently nowadays, because
- 14:26there's pressure, there's a cut off line.
- 14:29Top 16 are the greatest. Everybody else is dumb.
- 14:34All right, respond right here. I addressed it all.
- 14:38I addressed nepotism. I dressed why it was OK.
- 14:42And that is that team. That team that's Chocolate Mars,
- 14:47it still lives to this day because it's the same owner
- 14:50Richard Childress promotes that wreck them for the win.
- 14:55We got you in the pit area. That's why you saw, that's why
- 14:59you saw the Richard Childress race team, all of them
- 15:01aggressively out there. They loved it 'cause that is the
- 15:06old Flying Aces. That is the old Flying Aces way.
- 15:12All right, everybody.
