- Sheridan: to the Sheridan show. I'm Sheridan Labay. Obviously this is the Sheridan show I am joined by Rotimi. Imagine fake clapping in the background. It's in my heart. Yeah, it's in your heart. Yeah, we have so many things to talk about. We were literally talking pre-show for a while and we're trying not to talk about the stuff at hand, the topics at hand. That's how good it is. Give some shine to them cards too. You doing the stuff, Sharon and you branded. I mean, I am a marketing girlie. I appreciate it. The cards say the words. Yeah. But you know what the cars do actually have stuff on yeah Yeah, they got words I need to stay on time. Yeah, for sure. I doubt it You got the time Is anything we have 50 minutes, okay or 60 however you want okay first things first because we were talking about this 10 minutes ago. Kendrick Sampson's interview with Shannon Boudreaux. I thought it's a light one to start with. Sure. Okay, so if y'all saw the interview, Kendrick Sampson, if you don't know that is, that is, I mean, Issa's last love interest on insecure. Did she not get back with Lawrence? She did. I guess the last love interest before she went. The last little fling before she got back with Lawrence. That's a whole other compilation. He had a very interesting interview with Shannon Boudrum. So she is like a I would call her like an intimacy sensuality coach influencer like I love her work her and her partner essentially they did an interview and He said a lot of stuff a lot of hot takes a lot of just Everybody doesn't need a podcast my other ironic saying that it's somebody that just started it, but this is a talk show This is a talk show It's this is life this unscripted Catch me in real time. There's a vulnerability to be had there. It's a lot of Yeah, I just think that you know a quick sidebar. I just think that we have things that are so scripted nowadays and so like just overly curated And we need to just bring back the art of just having good conversations. And beyond need to, let's not lose our first point, but beyond need to. I think is de facto it's going to happen. There is so much of manufactured content, manufactured vibe and aesthetic that people are going to yearn for just real interaction. At a certain point. to be here in real time having the conversations, being able to be in the chat, which we appreciate y'all commenting in the chat throughout the night. I think people just appreciate just the real deal. mean, everything's so curated, like you said. Right. Another conversation for another day. Kendrick, there are a lot of things that he said Interview one thing in particular that's like the internet has just gone crazy over is that I'm paraphrasing But essentially he said he's not interested in necessarily having the child with a romantic partner He would rather have a child with his homegirls because again paraphrasing There's less minutia, there's less drama, there's less... Personal sentiment or emotional sentiment. Yeah, allegedly. Because I feel like having a child with somebody is no... I don't have How y'all having it off top? How I didn't think about that. Let's start from scratch. One, yeah. How's the child getting here? Right. By surrogacy or... I like all my bread from scratch. So how we... I didn't even think about that when he said that. Right, right. So are you and your homegirl... Come on, what y'all gonna do right there? And what homegirls are you talking about? homegirls are you talking about? men will say homegirls and it's really like his ex from college. You done cracked him before. Yeah, he talking about his homegirls. That's just This what it be when they say home, ooh, we already got too deep. It's okay. This what homegirl mean sometimes. told him- the game, y'all. I told this girl the truth that I don't want a girlfriend. And she said, that's cool. And we still kicked it and we still went all the way through there. She got upset at me fully because I was honest. Right. But he's still getting a lot of benefits. Relations and whatever. Dealing diplomacy is still amicable. That's what homegirl is. Sometimes. Then there's the homegirls where that's not been anything. Yeah. But that's also a thing. I know people who have I've met people who personally have said if they don't have a child by 40. they would have a platonic child with somebody. That's some don't have a child shit to say. I'm gonna be very honest with you. we haven't found And somebody with a child, y'all don't know. if we haven't found a person. is one, two, four. Yeah, he's a whole dude. He's a whole dude. I made that number up my head. It's okay. Yeah. He's saying sentences, he holding his own pee-pee. is his own dude. He's grown. Okay, so yeah, I don't know, I feel like... There's just so much nuance to the conversation, but I just feel like he, I don't know. Him saying that to me feels like you're trying to absolve yourself of the emotional labor of having a child with actual like, romantic partner. Right, right, right. So on his face, it's like, yeah, that's cool. Take your best home girl. Take the best man you know. Your partner. Best man you know. Could y'all healthily... raise a child together in a place that's not abusive and you provide for yes you can do that but there's these very nuanced things like you're talking about that you wouldn't know until you are in the game when your person need a break but because you who are we not romantically involved we don't live together So you took a trip. You're doing this, you're doing that. It's not my day. It's not my week. We get whatever it is. Now you can get burnt out. I'm going tell you the truth. I'm here in the shop and I'm working and I miss my son the entire time. I go pick him up. And within 20 minutes, I'll be like, God damn, please be quiet. You know I'm so glad that you're using your words. And also, can we use silence? There are not stifle your expression. But at the same time, within 20, 30 minutes, maybe 10, if I'm being honest, I'm like, God damn, please. Let daddy, I'm literally saying this, Acie, please let daddy breathe. I need to hear my thoughts. Does he listen? No. He's like, what does that mean? He says, I want to hear, I want to hear Kuna Matata. I want to hear All I Do. I want to hear Stevie Wonder. He got his own thoughts. He has his own thing. And so I say that to say like, yeah, that sounds very, that's spoken like a person without kids. Like this is a team lift. So the thing you didn't acknowledge was village. It does take the village, but you cannot say I'm to live outside the village and reap the benefits of the wards of the village. And that's what it sounds like. have to be fully immersed in the village to reap the benefits of the wards of the togetherness, the warmth of the village. You know, you don't want to chop firewood, but you want to the warmth of the fire. Yeah, it's just, it's interesting. I also kind of read between the lines of the interview and it felt like, it almost felt like, He seems like he's been hurt. I feel like somebody, and this is a lot coming from somebody that used to not be very vulnerable, but I feel like I can see it in other people where it's like, okay, you're running from... Vulnerability because you've been hurt. So you're like, okay, I want a child I don't want to a child with a romantic partner because I think it's gonna come with all these things and you're trying when I hear people have all these like boundaries, it just sounds like Yes boundaries are good. However, sometimes certain people's boundaries sound like you're trying to prevent yourself from being yeah, which is hurt fair overly needed. Yeah Sometimes it feels like what I think about like a lack of confidence not that you're not confident to get on camera Yeah, express yourself for being fun to people but confidence like if I have a client that I'm going to a barbershop We're in the shop. You're right. Well, I have a client and like I need I I'm like whatever it is just come on Yeah, that's confidence because whatever you're asking of me I believe I can do yeah, if I didn't have confidence I would have a list of like come like this. Don't know this know that know that know what that feels like. party, come blow dry, Come blow dry, and come between 12 and 1230. and hold my kids and wait till we come to lunch. Yeah, don't bring your kids, but hold my kids. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But if confidence in that way will allow you to say, however you come and however you need me, I can show up that way. I've been sermon-saying there's certain ways I'm just not gonna show up. My mustache is tickling me right here. Is that a booger or that my No, I don't see anything. No, you look great. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. But I think that's a confidence thing. And I think to your point that comes from a space of did someone hurt you? Did somebody make you feel and we could be going way too deep. I know. But I know we not. I know we not. Did somebody make you feel like you were inadequate for some period of time? Somebody who's supposed to feel like more. Someone said, what's the point? What's the point of him like they don't get it like what's the point of him saying that's the thing why you want the key? Yeah, because my thing this is a whole other I'm not a parent but I do you I know so don't feel disqualified. Okay, pair of things you still I am observer of the world and I feel like they're already Some cases is a disparity between like the emotional and physical labor between a mom and a dad in the same household That are married or co-parenting or whatever. So you add another layer of like not only Am I not in a romantic relationship with you? I don't really we don't have any romantic dealings. You're you possibly may not live together It just seems like he doesn't want any responsibility Kids before somebody is not yeah, what do think that number is? The more I'm like it's cute to say five like you know people say I'm looking like that, but not looking at you. I'm like, no, not at Rai. But there are people who are like, I want size. Like when Ciara announced her recent pregnancy, she got a lot of backlash for that. They don't count. They are a fantastic She got a lot of backlash, though, on certain pockets of the internet because people were like, after a certain number, it doesn't matter how much money you have. Fuck them people. That's different. Ciara and Russell, they want to be that. And they going to do what they got to be that. I got a cousin. Name gg. They do real estate and like south houston and okay. out to gg. Yeah the well the wells realty group the wells and they do they doing good And so they got kids and you know when you like, you know how sometimes people have the family but don't got the stuff to match Yeah, they got the stuff to match move to the bigger house. You look in their car and it's like a mile long Jeep make a bigger on bigger thing. Yeah, and they got the stuff but gg is a Graceful mother her husband Ernie is a helper. He helps he steps in he's a support He's a cover, you know, when you got people like that That's how I think about when I see Ciara and Russell they do their careers and all Yeah, and Russell Wilson said I could probably still play but I'm a retired. Yeah, I think you want to be a dad I think she wants to be a mom. I think so. She's dancer. So I don't think that never go away you gonna have to want to do that, but I feel like, damn, that's one thing. Now, say like, on the other side, shoo-jah. How many kids is here? More than nil. didn't know that. You got a bunch, I feel like. And it's just like, you could get, it's about mindset. If you are dedicated to your kids, have them. But if you, and also I'm going say this, and some people not going to like this, I don't think it's responsible having a lot of kids with a lot of women. I you were going to say something else that I've seen fathers, I'm of one person. I'm thinking of a certain person. They make it work so beautifully and his kids adore him and he makes sure he has them. Is it celebrity that you're talking about? In a way. This is somebody I personally know. I'm not even going go down there. okay. I was talking about Nick Cannon. His children adore him. But I'm talking about, we've gotten into some numbers like when you're having 10 kids. We talk in young boy numbers. That's crazy. you're having 10 kids and multiple women, it's just like, your kids can't get what they need from you. You know how many nights your child would be like. Just to go to sleep just to go to sleep just whatever it is. Anyways, that's a long time on that topic We have humanitarian and we have Utilitarians yeah, Hendrick Sampson's comments feel so the tear and that's not the way to deal with people He doesn't need to have kids. No or women You can have the air but I wish him great experiences though. I'm not judging him. I wish him great experiences I do I love it. Okay, do you? I mean, you know, rhetorical. Yeah. I'll move on. OK, well, since we're in that same vein, I would love to get your thoughts on this whole discourse around Savannah James and her friend April. So they went on a podcast semi recently ish. You sometimes people on interviews, don't go. They don't get popular until like whatever months later, because it's not the first time that April has said this. And this wasn't when they was on Poor Minds. Don't let me I don't think this is a poor man's okay. I watched that one. That's how I got to know both of them Okay, might have been I don't for some reason I don't like it was poor minds because I feel like I would have seen the clips from them But I know April I know the conversation has come up like multiple times so essentially TLDR they went on a trip to Japan and Savannah was in like a first class suite, which is like on that particular fight is like a suite like literally a suite with your own door and then April was in business class and so Yeah, I again people were like I don't think y'all understand how nice business classes on international on the long haul right you're still laying down so there's been this whole discourse online of like Savannah's wrong for not upgrading her friends flight because she's a billionaire which plot twist she's she is not technically a billionaire. There's been this whole discourse about, if I was a billionaire, I would pay for my friends, blah, blah, blah. But then there's also been this whole thing of reading between the lines of Savannah made a comment like, my friends understand my situation, which I took reading between the lines, as LeBron is very tight with his money and probably very strict about what they spend money on or not. If you've watched the game they've been comparing him to Jason Pitts. So And you know, I thought you know, the bronze Capricorn, you know fellow go, you know, very strict very I just feel like I don't know personally It's easy to say what I would do as a billionaire I do like in general as a friend if I have a surplus and it's not gonna like Put me out. I will help my friends out or I will upgrade them if it makes sense. What's the sentiment there? I'm in the first-class cabin. You are in a business class seat. What's the sentiment? I pity you I Feel sorry we still not gonna be together. I think I got a wall in mine I could be in here. I could use I get naked in mine. Like what's the sentiment would be again if I was a millionaire and I had a Surplus because just because I'm a millionaire doesn't mean You're ahead of it, right? Yeah, it doesn't mean that money is liquid either. That's also a thing that people are not realizing. Yeah, niggas be liquid. Yeah, LeBron may be worth whatever, but that doesn't mean all that is liquid. So I think for me, I think I would do it if it made sense, but I don't think that Savannah's obligated. And I think that's where a lot of people have been debating back and forth of like, Savannah's not obligated. People are saying Savannah's a bad friend. This is not even nuanced. It's just a thing you wouldn't understand. If everybody you know broke. You gonna thank your millionaire partner post a, if I had a millionaire friend, not even if I was a millionaire, if I had a millionaire friend, they would, I would, but it's like, y'all just take your carnival cruise, man. Do y'all think? I'm not even shitting on it, but what I'm saying is this, as a friend, Because we going to the same place. My experience in going and getting there is not one of despair. Yeah. Nor is yours. Because she's in business. Now, they're not congruent experiences. Yeah. But it doesn't mean I'm having not a good experience. So also, there's an understanding of what your husband does and provides for you and Savannah, she has her own businesses. Yeah, April wasn't mad. they have business together. Yeah. What I also want to say is because of how April operates, she could buy that same flight. Yeah. She chose not to. Yeah. So because it's just fiscal responsibility. Yeah. You know, then there's this other part. where we are friends. So if you up Sheridan, you up a hundred million off the Sheridan show in the next 36 months, right? man, you up and you have your home girl. I put me in, but you have a close home girl. Y'all traveling and y'all travel a lot wherever your most best friend is and y'all travel a lot How many trips are you supposed to front? That's also a question that came up. Yeah, let me tell you this it may never Financially bother you. It may never be a thorn in your side, but at the same time, what does that do to y'all dynamic? How many how much credit you post a fix how much business is you post to help jump start? How many trips should you front? Yeah before the dynamic goes from horizontal to a vertical conversation and now you the big dog. She can't tell you no. can't, no, she can keep it real with you. She's your real friend, depending on how real you are. You see what I'm saying? But at the same time, I have my son's godfather, NFL, all pro, multi-millionaire, I assume. We don't talk about these things. Every time I talk about a certain business plan in here while we're doing our cut. He looks it up and he starts pricing out the stuff. And I finally said, you know why I don't continue that conversation? I like our thing how it is. I'm a get where I'm going. When I get there with me and you, how we are exchange. like it where it's at without invoices and spreadsheet. You see what I'm saying? Now, Savannah paying for a ticket or upgrading her friends experiences does not create a tit for tat thing, but how many we supposed to do? They travel a lot. We don't know how often they try they go. That's they do. I think for me, I mean scaling it back down to my current life if I was going somewhere and like I was going to Cancun and you know, sometimes the United's like it's $200 to upgrade your flight and if I just really felt like mm-hmm, you know, I want to feel like that I Might that's the vibe you want. Yeah. Yeah Okay Okay, we somebody said it's a little entitled to expect that out of my friend rich or not I agree. Would it be nice? Yes, but it's not their responsibility to take care of you Somebody said okay now what if she had her friends out? Now what if she had her friend at the holiday in while she was staying at the Four Seasons and Then because if I'm doing it for you that I'm expected to do it for other people That's a great question. Yeah. Yeah, cuz I'm also not upgrading your hotel. Don't make a hyper that's Well, other part that I would love to talk to you about and then we can move on. think there's also the underlying, there's an underlying assumption that's being made that's not being discussed out loud, which is it's not Savannah's money. So it's like, say two, three years from now, I'm giving you a hypothetical. You know, you have 10 shops across the country. You know, in, well, I won't say Target, but you're in Ulta, in Sephora, in all the other stores. And Jamie's going on trip with her homegirls to Bali. Would you be like, babe, upgrade everybody's life? If that's not something they often do, save this for our son's godmother, Kira. Jamie's like, well, I could do woo woo. Off top, if we have it, it's off top for me how we are. We gonna take care. I will take care of that. Yeah. Cause she's done. She the reason my son has women's business. You see what I'm saying? So it's things like that, but at a certain, but if y'all always travel, go how y'all go. Yeah. Just go how y'all go. I would say my dream and then we can move on. I would love to be in a position by the time that I get married. I would, my dream would be to like send my friends on a bachelorette trip and like be able to pay for their flight. Say the next part. say the big one, the $70,000 one, PJ. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you wanna go Yeah, my dream would be like, I would love to do like a trip somewhere and at least be like, I got the flights or I got the Airbnb. something, like I would love to feel like. that's the goal. Yeah. That's the goal and it's there's a fun everyday thing. No, not every day. We'd go in multiple times a year. Like if you let me pay for that multiple times a year, how much you care about me? Yeah, that's not sustainable. And also let us not forget April was in business class, which on a on that type of flight, man, a liquor free. You OK? She's OK. Drink the drink you like. OK, I'll hold you little movies later. Now moving on the last what's the tea topic? know we've been in what's the tea land? I'm not realized all day. It's okay though. The conversations have been so good This is a little heavier, but I do think it's worthwhile talking about because it's just The reality for a lot of people in a reality in our country and it's the Cornell case. So are you familiar? They're called the Cornell seven people are trying to push it to be the Cornell 57 because technically there were 50 plus men in the group chat that got the message about the current or what was going to happen or however you want to word that. I think it's a lot to unpack there from a lot of different angles. My question to you, as a man, where do you feel like, OK, I'm going to backtrack. Not a loaded question, but I'm curious your perspective. Why are there situations like that to occur where like 57 people and nobody said anything? you know, I guess a normalized part and that makes me feel that's a normalized behavior. And the trouble is people who said anything didn't say it somewhere where the powers that be could weigh in. Right. Yeah. You know, consequence because it down there could be 57 people in a room. Yeah. Once you get to that point, because once you see certain things, What you cosign is kind of what you are. That's how I feel, So there is a constituent of men, a faction of men who look at sexual assault and rape, not as he raped her, but you know, she was kind of out of it and sex happened to her body. Shit like that. Weird little shit like that, you know? But I feel like that right there is a... If it was an HBCU football team, they'd be in prison pretty. But at the same time also, I just don't think women are protected in that way. Sexual assault on college campuses, this isn't a new thing. And they're just not protected in that space. And then you have people who will even vilify the victim. The victim? Why was she there? And this was two years ago. That's what's crazy about it. They made them write essays. I just think it's just so... I just think it's just so many things to discuss in that regard. I just think that there's just no type of accountability across the board in situations like that where, again, how are you in a chat of 57 people and nobody? I think one person ended up coming out, and that's how she even knew what happened or why it happened. she didn't even know. This this facts coming out like every day. Yeah, so one of the recent things I saw was one of the guys screen recorded I guess the snapchat chat and like sent it to her I don't know what timeline okay that happened in because again stuff is coming out every day, but I just feel like there needs to be a larger discussion about Accountability when it comes to me exactly like this even taking out of the context of sexual sexual assault. I thought there are lot of situations where Men just kind of like don't say anything like even you there's a There's a joke going around where you could be talking to your partner. You're like, y'all went golfing today. What did y'all talk about? And he's like, we didn't talk about anything. I just think there's a... There's like a level of like disconnect of accountability in conversations. That's not that. Yeah, no, I that's a drastic other tree. get exactly what you're saying, but that's not that. That's like not wanting to get bogged down with detail. My wife could start making a list of, cleaned this and did this and did that. anxiety, anxiety, anxiety. I don't want hear all that, but I respect what you did. Then there's the idea of... just moral fiber. This is a character question. Not a social capacity, but a character question where as a young man, and these are 20 somethings, right? These are young people, but at the same time, I think there's a great skill in knowing when to leave, knowing when to go home. The air don't feel right. isn't right. And for those who stay, okay, you stay. But at a certain point, you've got to know, like, this isn't right. This young woman. So it makes me think about how we viewing women. some people are getting it right. Some people call me a BAN or kind of pick me for what I'm saying. But like, how are we viewing? Are we viewing women as just sexual tools, sexual objects that we hate because we can't control? Or are we viewing women as counterparts, contemporaries, you know what saying? I don't expect the 21 22 year old man to truly be able to see a woman for what she is the same way I don't expect a young woman to be able to truly spot a as a man. At the end of the day you should at least teach your kids like consent. know what can't view somebody as a woman or a man and very least. Okay, so that makes me wonder, you think that, because I feel like this case may, this case has already become like a national case in a lot of ways already, like with the state of New York getting involved and like they brought in a new DA. Do you think there's a world where all 57 men should be held accountable? They're in New York state, Cornell is not in New York City proper, right? It's not New York City proper, but the state of New York I don't know if it's the actual, that city that Cornell's in, but they replaced the DA with like a black woman recently. They said she's like... They could, or she got that kind of energy to like, kind of that guided missile kind of energy to go after it. But just to be honest with you, I just don't, I feel like black people and women are just not valued victims in this country. Like you could get off with a lot of yeah, especially especially white boys Yeah, I made it they wrote essays. Yeah, they got off they wrote s like I just can't even I just can't even fathom I guess the lack of like even the school like you would I mean, I'm not surprised I guess I mean we went to a PWI. I'm sure there are things that occurred that we like No idea we have no idea I mean they were having Charger they were having The friend the friend Sam Houston were definitely having some party. I'm glad that I wasn't even I want and I want to ledge There are certain things I don't even put the frat thing on it. Just like they're organized friend groups That I'm getting like just when you get people together and alcohol there becomes more of a pack mentality. Yeah. That's what's scary to me though about men. Like if I'm being honest, like I think it's just like, at what point do... As a man, you say like wrong is wrong and right is right? You have to have some balls. gotta have a backbone and say, no, this is not it. This ain't it. And be willing to stand on your own. the trouble is at that age, at many ages, but especially that age, most people are not willing to stand on their own. Everybody's looking for social acceptance and no one wants to be ostracized. And I bet their parents knew. in some capacity. I think about like maybe I'm thinking about TV shows that I've watched, but I feel like in situations like this, it's always like, my parents, the top donor at Cornell, sorry, at Cornell. And you know, I was able to just write an essay and take a semester that kind of thing. There's probably some influence involved to where it's like we can't throw these kids' lives away. That's the thing. she is traumatized. She's traumatized. Allegedly, she tried to withdraw from the school. And I know her parents got involved, but allegedly she tried to withdraw for that semester or whatever in the school, it's like making it super difficult for her to take a semester off. Yeah, they can't acknowledge it. When we do that, we acknowledge it. I think they may make an example. think one of the beneficial things of social media is that cases that probably would not have like gotten the national recognition that they're getting. that push. They are, I think that's even why they replaced the DA on the case, truthfully. Okay, well I know we've spent a lot of time on what's the tea. That was one topic? That was one segment. telling y'all every time I come in here, like, an hour goes by so fast. I don't know how they talk on the Today Show and you get everything in an hour. Well, moving on to lighter subjects. We're moving on to the side quest of the week. And so if y'all know me, I love a good side quest. My life is a side quest. Side quest, you know, for those who don't know, it's essentially just you just doing something out of the norm of your day to day. life you know breaking up the routine what has been like one of your latest side quests you are the side you are this is the side this is one You did like that. I don't know if it's like a nootropic kind of drink thing you did like in a flight. yeah, me and a couple of friends, had the THC drinks. Had or have? We had them. You the laws in North Carolina got crazy. So we put it on ice. We don't want to see it in federal prison. No. Where do I look? You look like a sweatsuit. No, absolutely not. I am not Martha Stewart. But I want to acknowledge your side quest, your capacity for side quests. My current side quest right now, I'm in a gym a lot and I'm taking care of myself. That's like a mental health thing. Yeah. of people like they ask me, I used to work out for that as a midfielder. I'm in there vibing. You in there, I was like, one time I was like, if we're doing like personal training, like, did you in there really? I'm just trying to save my soul. I'm just. For me to do that at 5 a.m. It improves every other hour of the day. But I'm 5 to 5. I might be 5'6". My goal by January is to dunk a basketball. I love that for you. So you're practicing that? So between each set, I could do a heavy, heavy lift. Between each set, I do some kind of explosive leg movement. And it burns calories. And it keeps me from having back fat love handles, right? Or burns off bourbon whiskey oil from the week before, day before. But it also builds up my jumping ability. So maybe a month ago, could touch the, I would jump. And if this is the rim, I could do this. Then I can do this and now right now doing this. I love a good like so yeah, just good Random for all intents and purposes goal like yes for the sake of this is something that you want to do it just so long Yeah, just to say okay. There's there's gonna be no trophy. Yeah, skip Bayless Steven A Smith and like I'm like I'm news directly, you know, I know I'm not gonna be that little y'all's latest that question the chat to our right It makes you think I saw this TikTok of the day where this guy randomly just shows up to pick up basketball games and decides to like referee. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I saw that. I saw that. I'm like, people just, that's a spike. And it's a way to connect with people. Yeah. And it's a way to connect. I love when people do random stuff like The other one for me, obviously, I'm in a run club. That's cool. Which run club is it? Just level one. Everything level one fitness. Don't even invite me to Okay, okay. Another shameless plug. Yeah, level one fitness. Shout out Ken Jones and the family. Don't even invite me to your gym or your little class. We can use a loyal level one. That's cool. What I'm saying is it ain't going to be that. So I'm cool. You can find me on Almeida, 5.30 AM. That is dedication. So there's that. But my, I started little league coaching. You're doing a lot of sideways. my son up for flag football. And we sewed up and one of the coaches did sew and the other was late and I just jumped in and I wasn't in the coach shirt. Yeah. I looked the part. I'm sure they believe in you. Nice gradient shade. had on like a... guy here. I had on like a Mike Ditka. I had on like a... retro like 90s jacket you were like you were in your element five inch inseam above the knee showing a little bit of quad so people the parents can see like he working on something he was he do something he did something coach you know can't you know and so I got out there and I'm telling you That's so cute. And it wasn't about like, let's make sure my son has the best experience. I really just had a great time with the kids and it was so fun. And it was like hurting cats. Yeah. They're what? Where's the goal? You're like, here and there. Go this way, go this way. There's no points over here on the sideline. My son talked all that shit about playing football and he did decent. Okay, but when I tell you every time I'm looking I'm like where my linebacker where's they have positions in that's what I had him in that's what I had him in where my little and this is how they get started where my boy at his mother said India style he and her lap eating gummies he said he needed a break my god he needed a Anyways, that's been a beautiful side quest. I love You've had a lot of your side quests. All very active. I love the dunking. You'll have to keep us posted. That's my knees. I don't know. I mean, I have good knees, but dunking is just... You don't have to dunk. That's not in your heart. You don't have to be. I was like, I want to do. What's your side quest? Other than the show we know you doing a show this is a thank you and if it is the show that's fine I'm not gonna make you have no I'm like what is my latest? You know honestly is Crazy to say is a native Houstonian last weekend was my first weekend at rodeo roundup, which is crazy to So that was a crazy side quest for me because I've gone to rodeo pretty much every year as a kid like to the concert But this was my first year going to rodeo roundup and at a ball I had a ball. feel like very, I don't want to say Jack and Jill, that feel like very elite black. It was a lot of fun. And it was like still laid back. Like it was like, everybody had their tables, people brought drinks, you could go get food. The food truck lines weren't crazy. Like, people in that did a great job. That was great. It was a good time. I've always wanted to go to like roundup. So I would say that, what other side quests have I had? I mean, my life has kind of been a side quest as of late. Can I interest you? How you feel about line dancing? Ooh. I'm not talking to me or no. I'm just talking. To me, I feel triggered. That's calculus. That's like the whole, you know, that's the, that is the high end of it. The chat is going off too. I'm really into the line dances. Like I went to a wedding last weekend and I danced and I was hitting them. And I went to a birthday. I went to a birthday, my boy Arian's birthday and I learned the line dance. Which line dance was it? I don't remember. Yeah, it's like names for them stuff. And I was in it, but I was in it. I did it. I did it. And there was one though, we was watching it when it was me and Pastor Keon was there. And he was, we just was looking like countless steps. And I just looked at him and I said, we could probably fix the community before we do like this. That's not true about Tamiya. The Tamiya too hard. The Tamiya line dance is an SSAIA infiltration. They put that in the black community to distract us. Because honestly, that shouldn't even be a live dance song. No. First of what really matters. First of all. We could really be helping each other. We could be doing like feeding children breakfast before school, literacy program, community health. it takes so long to learn it to be a live dance. I will say, I... After a couple glasses, I can do most line dances. Tamia, the little... It's that little one, two step ball change. Tamia don't know Tamia line dance. She had Tamia didn't create that song for line dances. You know what that song was about? Not line dancing. It's not about that. I'm mad at whoever created that. I will say I will double dabble. I went to a wedding a couple weeks ago. I learned a new one. then... know which one that was? No, it was... You just was in it. No. And then last weekend at Rodeo Roundup, my friend that I went with, loves line dance. I won't call you out, but she is in the... Somebody said to me it's not that hard. First of all... First of all... Then post the video. Right. Anyways... I don't like that. It feels real black elitism. Thank you for the comment, That feels like real black elitism. What I feel like is I'm being vulnerable. I could sit up here in my little Toshini sweatsuit and act like I know the T-shirt line dance, but I was honest and say I don't know it. So to come on and say, know what all right. I feel offended. And I personally thought, that personal. Anywho. Right. What's next? We're talking about you next. I have a whole, you know. Now it is 850. That's a full card. It is a full two cards. I'm in it like a line dance. okay. I don't even know where to start. We talked about so many We could go 20 more minutes, baby. Yeah, we're gonna do 30, 40, but I'm just respecting your timeline. I mean, we'll figure it out. Let me ask my people. I could do like 30. Okay. That's what you should do too. You should talk off camera like you have to. It's like I should have another People think you that important. People think you're that important. They're gonna watch this back and talk time we gotta be at the airport? Okay, we can do it. Okay, then. You see what I'm saying? We for sure have a good 20-ish minutes. Okay, so many things to talk to you about. I feel like you balance... that was the episode. That's what the episode's about. The balance of that. Plot twist. That's what the episode was about, yeah. I feel like you balance so many things so well from... I mean, I'm gonna start with fatherhood. Balancing fatherhood Being a husband being an entrepreneur Working out Let's just start there just how do you navigate all that plus Mental health because I feel like you're somebody that we've had a lot of conversations. We've had several podcasts leading up to this episode. do you like you? Why or how do you balance that? Like what makes that a priority for you? Because I feel like a lot of millennials are trying to figure out how to navigate all the things or even half the things that you're navigating. As somebody that's childless and unmarried, mean, navigating and balancing my own life. You can take a nap. I love a good nap. How did you know? Because I don't. I used to. I love a good nap. I'm trying to make up for lost time. for my childhood because I hated naps. I used to take naps. I used to only have like two to three towels. had to soap my ears. It was very bachelor. And then I got a woman who liked me back and we got married. then I had more soap and more towels and extra deal that's the search. But I did not need sheets and all that. Thank God. Thank God for Jamie. Thank you Jamie. Then we had a child and he lived with us. Harmony leave they from the day they born. I don't know if y'all and I'm gonna break the wall here I For anybody don't have children the day they get born They let y'all take them home the next day, which is new. I thought in movies. It was like three four days They send you home. They take it out instruction manual. He don't know what to do First time here Jamie had a c-section When they got they cut him out and washed him off and they said, all right, Papa. They sent me in a room, just me and X. And because some latte making calm white lady on Instagram said, you wanna do skin or skinny for me? I had my shirt off. I got my shirt off and it's in our room. And I got my son, and you know he tried to do? He tried to suck my nipple. I said, what? How did he know to do that so quickly? He don't know what to do. He tried to connect. And I said, let me put my shirt on. You don't know what to do and they will send that kid home with you. They gonna come out and look, you car see cool? Nah, y'all good. They like, you the papa, you the mama. Y'all gotta figure it out and that's how know you take naps and I don't. And so anyways. I've just started taking naps more seriously. I got to do it while Share it and value it. It won't last forever, but you balance it. I balance it because I have to. Yeah. I have to. Okay, I have a loaded-ish question, but I know how you may answer, so I won't feel loaded. Do you feel like it's a burden in the sense of sometimes I either see discourse online or I hear people chatting about different things, and sometimes it sounds like, I've heard other black men who may just be fathers and not married or vice versa who sometimes it seems like you all carry a silent. burden that like you like you get to express to other people like do you feel that way I think two things can exist in once I think I absolutely hold things I can't say I won't even say here yeah please don't I think two things can exist in once there's things that I do not say and share because I don't feel like maybe it's Facebook or the relativity men are hitting. And then also it is a labor of love. Men like to work. It's the work you choose. Whatever work you choose, a man will... You ever seen it where they said, boy, a man will be an absolute father, but let that pit bull get pregnant. Like niggas love to take care of something. Niggas love a test. An iguana. It makes me think about... constrictor. There's been a lot of times... It could be anything just not a human child. Apparently, according to Kendrick, it's not a child. It could be anything, a car. Yeah, car. And was stored in Monte Carlo. Yeah. Anyways, I think it's some... No shade to you. For me, it's a labor. It's a shade. But it's a labor of love. It is labor, and it is labor intensive. Absolutely. There's no richer feelings. With my son. Yeah. He's learning something. He did. We swimming lessons an hour before I came here and he finally got it. Put his head down and he's going four years old. was the first lesson screaming to the point he couldn't rationalize to the point he was swallowing water. Like sir stand Just calm right. Calm down. I got you. And so it is there is no richer feeling. I don't truly remember my life before having him. He is the reason that me and my wife are together because we're together. And I love it. That's my friend first. But at the same time, there's times where you want to check out, tap out, and you're looking for a boy and be like, give him a chance. Give him the pool experience. And sometimes he does play the group. He plays the group just long enough for us to realize, come on, let's reset it. You're my partner. You're my person. It's a labor of love. There's people who don't value that and they don't care like the responsibility might be too much or the idea of being needed like that might be too much like the interview that we watch. But for me personally, you balance it as best you can. I mean, you seem like you're doing a great job. I mean, even though we were talking weeks ago that you traveled before, I think you said you were with Maxwell. How long were you on tour and like what was that? light of like you have your wife and son back home yeah also it was two different worlds your and your business this is your livelihood it was two different worlds and you have to I had a supportive partner that allowed for that how long were you on tour for? we did Europe all of July and then we came back in a few weeks off and then we did The States from like late August and January and so we did everything from tour all the touring and concert venues and then it culminated with like was on set for the Neil Long and what's the Lorenz Tape movie that's coming out? Don't ever wonder. was on set for that. Cutting for that. First of all, I know they had a movie coming out. I will be tuned in. They have Lily like not a... Okay, I'll be looking after that. Lorenz Tape feels like Councilman Tape. I can see that. I don't think he was playing. No. No, I think he just showed up and He was cool. had his whole family there. I that was cool. Neal Loh smells good and she's short but she feels like 6'4". She comes for the woman with the C-parts. That's that Scorpio. Right. But it culminated with that but the main point was my wife was supportive. Every Friday I had to tell her. And there was times when she was tired. She was burnt. She was just like, you know, I want to be happy for you but I'm... I'm tired, yeah. You living your dream and I'm living life. Yeah. You know, and so I understood that. Don't act up to hurtful at times like I understand it again. 10 minutes after picking myself up, it's cool sometimes I'm down, I'm hurt out. So I get it. But yeah, so you just have to balance that. I wouldn't go again. Really? Okay, why not? It was an amazing time. If I was a single man, I'd absolutely go every time. But my son is four, he's doing things. I wouldn't trade coaching his little lead team for that flight. I wouldn't trade. And that's fatherhood. These moments you're not going to get back. What advice would you give someone who is navigating either finding their lane as a husband and a dad or vice versa? mean, there are a lot of men who are trying to navigate being a single father and doing all the things. And husband doing all the things. And there's some people doing both. I think there's a lot to be said on both sides of different. challenges and struggles like even from a mental health standpoint. I think that's a big thing that we don't talk about enough like are you have you gone to therapy? Okay, and I'm not against it. I would say fine community. Nothing else. Fine community. A healthy community. We're not talking like Manusphere. Not an echo chamber that just, he met women haters club. A real community of solid men that hold you accountable and also love you. They check on you, they love you, but they hold you accountable. You are alone sometimes. but you also deserve to be heard, you deserve to be dealt, your feelings are valid. It's okay to be tired, it's okay to be sad, it's okay to be proud of yourself. I just think find community and I think just find ways for the person to be patient and to be present with your person and with your child. Do you think that as a black man, you feel like you and fellow black men have the safe space to be honest about when you're tired? That's like there's a lot of discourse sometimes where You get online and black people like, I don't fuck I have community. I don't fuck I have anybody to listen to me or talk to, but they're not in therapy or they're not in community. They're going on golf trips and not having conversations deeper than like, how's work, bro? You know, did you watch the game? Yeah. But it gets deeper than that, truly. This barbershop, like I have an appointment. It's the same time as a normal appointment. But it's called, honestly, I just need to talk. and you can book that and what it does is it just lets me know to be on. So I'm a new potato. I'm gonna not let anyone else walk in your apartment. And it's still a regular appointment? the same appointment, whatever you get. But now I'm absolutely turned on. I'm on in a way that I'm in tune with whatever air you're bringing. And I'm able to prepare myself to receive whatever energy you're bringing. And so I can listen to you and I can give you healthy feedback and not project, not get panicked. that. Yeah, so I have things like that. Wow. The barber shop. Yeah. You need a good barber, one. You need a good barber. For more reasons than one. Now when you're going to do something, just every week, every other week, you need a good barber that can cut your hair well, that can listen to you, speak to you well, that can help you network and connect, get you gay. So there's this. There's going to the right gym. going to the right cigar house, the right church group. That could be iffy, but it could be beautiful too. The right small group, whatever it is. You need community because I don't believe it's truly real if your wife do deal with enough. It's a reason you can't go home with nothing. I'm just so tired. Like, nigga, I'm tired Yeah, like what? I'm tired too. I'm picking up on everything. My wife picking up on everything I don't pick up on. Before I came here, I believe I straightened up. Jamie is going to clean up. Like I was telling you, it's going to smell clean, feel clean, look clean. It's going to be different than what I that you said that. Yeah. Cause I feel like a lot of times, not I won't say a lot, I try not to talk an absolute. I feel like there are times where people don't always understand the silent labor that women do especially. Because I go through it, I know y'all going through it. You see what I'm saying? And y'all care about more things and the details make it y'all different. I can be cool. can be too. Yeah, and then we're like, this is supposed to be here, that's supposed to be there, this is supposed to be there. All right. You know? Yeah. And so, yeah, so I say that to say it's not always for you to lay your burden in that way on your woman. That's why you may not feel. There's times I've told Jamie some things about how I'm feeling, where the look on her face made me say, ooh, don't do that no more. And there's no crime against her. It's just like she looking at you like are we steady? Yeah, is the ground solid beneath us? but I could tell my brother I can do those things with them and I'm not gonna get that response back. I'm gonna get relativity, advice, support. You can't lay that on your person all the time. That's like if as a man if your wife said, I just wish I could gone to Beyonce concert. Yeah, you're gonna be like, okay. first class suite to Japan. make you feel like damn, my efforts are inadequate and it would be hurtful to you. She know she can't tell you that. So she tell her best friend, don't look through that phone. I think looking through that phone, you looking for another intimate partner. Man, I bet that best friend group chat would destroy you. Hurt your chest. yes, you know anyway. Yeah, look I'm not gonna give a bother name but Not I think I mean you said so many great things you said something one thing I was One thing I think is interesting that you spoke about is like one just being able to find community as a man in a black and we're talking about black men so I feel like me Being able to find community in different spaces even if you don't want to go to therapy or whatever reasons there's so many places to lean on community. Yeah. What how do you feel like or what makes you vulnerable enough to lean because one thing to go to the gym. That's the thing though. One thing to go hoop. That's the thing. yeah, yeah. You know, I'm charismatic and I'm going so I'm gonna meet everybody in the room and I have this thing where I'm gonna speak to everybody at some point I'm gonna get to know you. Everybody don't like this. Some people are quiet. They don't know how to get in this space. It's gonna open up. that person need to just go to a I think. It's tricky because you can exist in a lot of spaces and not get nothing out of them and not contribute nothing to them. The experience you have is up to you to be honest with you. At certain point we adults. We are big adults. And the experience you have is up to you. We all have the same skills to do that. Some of us are gifted with different things. I just have... I don't mind if my joke don't end. I don't mind if my dance is all beat. I thought you were actually about to tell a joke. No. When you said that. was like, what joke are you about to No, no, no, no. I'm cool. But just, I have charisma and I'm happy. And so, I don't mind to be outgoing. Rejection don't hurt me as... They thought rejection does not affect me. And I'm in sales. I sell a product. Yeah, it's interesting that you say you were in sales because as you were talking I was thinking like you almost are in like Mental health adjacent profession as well like I know I mean I as a kid I remember like my dad and brother I don't want to be inside listen to every y'all talking about but to me as a black woman when I think about Having a barbershop and being in a barbershop. It gives safe space for me V-Flight, when you started your career, was that your intention with going into this industry, in this career, or like? I didn't fully know. When I was cutting hair in college in the bathroom, men would talk to me. Yeah. But I don't think I understood the power. I just knew, OK, now I know everybody. You know what I'm saying? But I didn't understand the power of it. There was one time where, I think this was 2017, I was in a shop and a building, was running and running and running, talking again. When he finished, he said, I that I mean I've never I've never been to your shop as a customer But I think from just like watching you over the years and like how you've grown like as a man a businessman It's very apparent just from what I've seen Online that you don't just have a Barber shop like it's very like just from how you present yourself from what I have seen and not necessarily being a customer It seems like you have another level of like how you care about I love my people Yeah, I say cuz for that's why that's your pleasure. I really do. I don't like that client And we don't exchange no money in this room. You pay for it before you get in here talk, hug, handshake. And I tell my clients and they like, say, love you. I'd say that. You healing black men, one I love you at a time. And I could tell when they awkward about it, but it's like, that's okay. It's like, you've been here before. You know the drill. Say it back. You gonna love me back. You gonna say it Love you, dawg. Have a good one. And sometimes I don't even put that, love you, bro. Love you, dawg. Like, love you. Have a good Yeah. And that might be like the only I love you they hear. Yeah, yeah I love the work that you're doing. I could talk to you all night about It's not too crazy. We got maybe 12 minutes. Okay. Well, we'd love to know with you in the again working the industry that you're working in you're around me all the time What do you feel like is something that some wisdom that you would want to impart? on men and your fellow black men because of the things that you've heard or seen. Like I'm sure that there are things that you over time, whether it's themes, whether it's common conversations, whether it's you know, advice that you see as a common thread in your conversation without obviously giving away people's stories and whatnot. I think. I had a talk to like, not three people. I would just tell them like, you're enough. You are enough. There's always growth to be had. And I pray that you are taking yourself seriously. And you be honest with yourself about your growth. Or maybe like there. But you are enough. You still have time. You can be bad. Just like, those are the things that make me most anxious. Do I have time? Can I? Will I? As long as you have breath in the body you have time. You have time. can be in the things you need. already have. The culmination of all your experiences has guided you to where you're at. Where you're supposed to be. Where you can get where you want to be. I love what you said about you're enough. It makes me think about, again, we have multiple podcasts. What earlier we were talking about just like, do we feel like we downplay ourselves? And that made me think about that. Because you asked me that like rightfully loud. like, I mean, maybe we probably do. But it makes me think about that because I do think that there are so many pressures that like we in our community place in ourselves. I'm sure it's black men, y'all placing yourself like women we place in ourselves and just like what we should be doing, what things should look like, what they should feel like. And it's like we are enough. We're doing enough. Not to say we shouldn't strive for more. and want to get the most out of life, but I do think sometimes we get so caught up in not feeling like what we're doing and who we are right now is enough in this moment. Right, right. We should pop it more, but not IG caption popping. Real popping, not fake popping. like when you come here and say, I'm setting up like this, we doing it like that, this is episode three, I'm gonna these people get up in this live. To me that's popping it because there is an assumption that people coming into the lot. And they in there. That thing, that thing, I don't know if it's jumping. Cause I don't know the- They in there though. The whole screen is filled with words. And I am grateful for every comment. So they in there. I think that's popping it. think when I pack my stuff up and I say we doing this pop-up shop. I say I'm going stop the cutting schedule to go do this retail. That's confidence. I think we should have a certain level. You know when the Bible teaches you how to pray and basically God is asking you, he's telling us instructing you, don't be like begging and pleading for what I already know. See what I'm saying? That's already in you. Let it be known what your request is. And in so many words, let it be known entitlement and give your thanks in advance because it's yours. And so I think we're to move like that rather than, you know, we be moving a little. We do. we only felt our own capacity. But every single time I had to bust a move or something gave me anxiety, it turned out different and better than I had anticipated. It turned out that I could actually hold more than I thought I could. Yeah. And so the only regret truly does become, God, I should have just been bigger. We did it. Yeah. We did it, but I should have went bigger. Yeah. Cause we could have had it easy. saying, I'm dealing with one right now where I'm having so much back and forth with myself. I'm just like, just trust the pattern. Even if you, even if you don't believe in like spirits and deities and God, trust the pattern. How has it been going for you? It's just, and just do it. think that like, anyway, just do it anyway. Anyway, I had a thought on the way over here of like, you know, I've, I'm very aware of just like, the different ways that self-sabotage can show up in our lives. That's my own personal cross to bear, if I'm being honest. And I think one of the things that I think about is self-talk. How are you talking to yourself? What are you saying in your mind? How are you talking to yourself about the projects, about things you want to do, about launching the thing, wearing the outfit? I think there's just so many ways that we can, as you say, pop. Pop our shit. Sometimes we talk ourselves out of it. We should embrace embarrassment. The guy who played Elvis, he said embarrassment is an underexplored emotion. We should embrace it because it wasn't really going, OK, I was embarrassed. Yeah. There was something Donald Glover said something a couple of months ago, and he was like, it's OK. He didn't say weird, but he was like, it's OK to be cringe. That's what he said. He was like, everybody's so worried about being cringe, and it's like. Everything is in our mind first of all. So you know with me doing this show it's like I could be in my mind all day about what I think people think or etc. But like that's really just in my head. It doesn't exist Anywhere else it's not manifested yet. No one's told you like are you weird for thinking people want to Yeah, or hate watch actually yeah, please watch I enjoy the views. All press is good press But yeah, think we be playing small for whatever reason, but our capacity to think, that's why having vision is important. I was there four and six, my people are perishable, lack of vision. And so having vision is very important. You gotta be able to see out and project out, but also just see clearly, even if just, even if it's short sighted, just see clearly around yourself. You got the gems on us tonight. You took us to church. I appreciate it. I appreciate be talking to myself because I be going through it. I think there's ways where my thing can present as very all together. there's some ways. my partner was somebody like you should like coach. I was like, man. You kind of doing that with your Yeah, yeah, yeah. I am though. But. Yo, now, it's somebody else's aspirational. I can see you being a great life I can understand that. I would like to do it. You could add that into it. You could do like a, you know, so that people don't feel it's a good entry gateway. Gateway therapy. Yeah, gateway therapy. Just add like an extra 30 minutes. don't start like, man, little coaching. Yeah, a little coaching. Yo, cut. I believe that for you. Yo, cover the Zoom call on the back end. Yeah, we'll follow up. I think I am trying that in. There is a thing I do understand about myself. Because I'm in sales and I'm in sales for like men's care and masculine upkeep. There's a way I have to be to be attractive to men. To where it's like the way he is is kind of, there's aspects of that that I don't want to be. I can't sell you a perfume through a screen. Yeah, segue. yeah. Let me show you so this is for you said your dad has hair. Yes So this thought of as a beer care company, but I realized it works in my hair. It works in my hair Hydrating this spray this hand. This is a true moisture. Okay Two more situations. have the beard brulee, which I'm just going to change into a different name. I like the name though. Anyways. change that you like you in the moisture with that yeah works down low as above so below it works okay this is man of leisure this is a sample of our fragrance which comes in a bigger bottle is that what I smelled earlier yes that's the only smell in here it comes in this bigger bottle I love the color of the bottle chastity bill is designing it man of leisure If you ever need somebody when you touch up but it's soft enough that you can I Have a whole Collection too many. I love that. Thank you. So give that to your dad keep one progresses for yourself, but yeah, I have to be conduct myself and take care of myself in such a way that it's aspirational. Somebody will model after any part of it. Not exactly yet, but you know, any part of it to say. Well, I love that you just dropped so many gems on us. just, I have one, absolutely say one, thank you for coming on the show. Two, thank you for all the gems that you dropped to me personally, to everyone watching, to any man that watches later. I think you, there's so many. just great things that you said. We usually do an untamed segment, but I'm like, this is just okay. I don't even want to. Taint it? I don't even want to What is the question? Let's decide if we're going to answer the question. I don't even want to taint it. Okay, well, no, I don't even want to ask this. It's so, it's so. Okay, I'm going to switch it up because we relate it back to the work that you did. So do you, how do you, we'll have a question for you first. Do you get manicures and pedicures? Ooh, I should. Okay. But I don't. What? Not that I won't because they're right here down the hallway. I just don't have time for the kids. I haven't even played a full round of golf in maybe a year. I go out there, I let my son swing his clubs. was going to say, I like I've seen you at the but I make sure he's working on his and he's having fun. Golf takes three, four hours. I haven't even played a full round. Then it's hot outside. Yeah. So I don't have the time to like do things that I just want to do. the time I have that time to, you know, I should, I should though. Okay. That's an excuse. I can get my feet done and still work on content. Okay. That would be, that's going be my little, untamed question for today. Cause the other question wasn't even You want to hear what it I kind of want to, I want my full experience too for real. Unless you feel like it's disrespectful. No, no, it's not Okay. Let's go, let's do the untamed. Let's take three minutes. Okay. So this is about Angelina and Brad Pitt. Yeah. Okay. So they're, you know, they've like adopted children, all the things. So apparently the third child, their third child, they adopted basically decided to drop their last, the last name of Pitt. And so this kind of has untamed, but also ties back to you being a father. So as a father, would it make you question yourself if your adult child no longer wanted to be associated with? Well, that was kind of reason why I haven't dug too deep into it but that was kind of the reasoning behind why the last child decided to drop the night. Yeah, like, we just alcohol kind of made you. But would it make me question myself? Would it make you question yourself if your adult child decided not to? If they dropped it but they to marry? Absolutely. That would. Would you have a conversation? I would ask. Yeah, I mean, I just can't change it. I ask about it. That woman really to look at me, but at that point, I'm probably 50 years old. Yeah. 60. And I'm probably very sad no more. Because it's also like, hey, like how much did I piss you off to change your last name? You know how hard it is to change your name legally? Yeah, I guess it's pretty difficult. Yeah. I mean, a lot of women that I know that are married, some of them take a while to do it because they're like, so I don't even always forward my address when I'm So changing my name is a whole thing. That's a whole other conversation. Like I don't even know if I were to get married if I would change my last name. My wife's last name is not my last name. I was gonna ask you. I'm not a traditional man. Do you think she would ever change it? Is that a conversation? Like I don't know if y'all had that conversation. My son's last name is my last Yeah. My wife can be Jamie, it's about buried. Yeah. I love my last name. I don't think that I would. I don't care about formalities. Yeah. I just feel like, you respect me? Yeah honor me when you move around like how do you speak about me? was like presence. You know, saying how do you treat me? The formalities I feel the same way because it's just too tedious. I had a co-worker who didn't change her name for like 11 years If the last name you get and it's more lit than the last name you got In no offense. I haven't really met a lot of men that have a better last name Sorry, not sorry right now today is the Sheridan show. Yeah Fast forward to Clyde, I'm putting 36 months on you, right? But that's three years. It could happen in 18. I'm talking about is when the Sheridan show is like, yes. Or it's just able to fund itself in such a way. Yeah. I think it's called LaBaby. Is there an mark on your name? Yeah, I think it's called the bank. That's so funny, I never considered that. I think it's in red or like a hot pink. Yeah. I it's a nasty little script. la-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba- I think is that that's too funny. I actually never could I did not consider that it's gonna work Yeah, you're gonna I'm gonna hit you up and say I'm gonna sue you but that's how you gonna know you made it. I'm already trademarking I told you my intellectual property from no no no no no that's in the chair. I do that all the time Yeah, I'll have it like us and I'll give it to people. Yeah, so I think it's called Okay That's hard. You've never met another lab a other than that your family reunion. So usually we end with homework. what would you, final words, something for people to think about, do over the next week? What would you leave our viewers with?
