- 1:02Speaker 3: time of the year. It happens to me every year.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I don't know if it's like a combination of that
- 1:09Speaker 3: with talking six hours a day.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I'm not real sure.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I've got to get better before the weekend. Sure they'll
- 1:16Speaker 3: want to be on the l s U Football Call.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Well that's not important, is this show though?
- 1:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:20Speaker 3: But this show, like you know, we we color outside
- 1:25Speaker 3: the line sometimes if.
- 1:27Speaker 4: You will, definitely with crayon.
- 1:30Speaker 3: I mean that's understood. So but yeah, like you know,
- 1:34Speaker 3: the official broadcast. I mean, Chris has such a great
- 1:38Speaker 3: radio voice. I don't want to be over there like
- 1:40Speaker 3: all flimmy. That's a very tacklep No, I better not
- 1:48Speaker 3: be saying that.
- 1:49Speaker 4: I bet every now and then's good. Yeah that's true,
- 1:52Speaker 4: that's true. I know, but no, everything's great. Man excited
- 1:55Speaker 4: to be here or right at rouse. It's just like
- 1:57Speaker 4: we are every single football Friday this football season. Rouses
- 2:01Speaker 4: On Burbank so kind of hungry too. Every time I
- 2:05Speaker 4: walk in here, they're all prepping. I tell you, I'm
- 2:08Speaker 4: about the fiftieth person that walks in here, and I
- 2:10Speaker 4: walk in here at about six thirty every single Friday. Everybody
- 2:14Speaker 4: here working, getting ready, getting ready for the weekend. We
- 2:16Speaker 4: got my man make a sushi, make a sushi every
- 2:19Speaker 4: single morning right here at the Mongolian Grill. Yeah, we're
- 2:22Speaker 4: they're throwing some ice over there in the seafood.
- 2:24Speaker 2: They got lobsters, lobsters.
- 2:26Speaker 4: I got the lobsters and now getting ready for the
- 2:28Speaker 4: breakfast bar. So I'm excited. Yeah, So come see us,
- 2:32Speaker 4: Come stop by Rouses this morning. Come say hi to us,
- 2:34Speaker 4: give us a little wave. Doors open, No, doors open.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Three minutes ago they were already open.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Check it out. Well, they got a Christmas tree up
- 2:41Speaker 4: to you, right, no ornament, looking a little barren.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like I'm feeling Christmas, but I'm not quite
- 2:49Speaker 3: ready to give myself over fully. Like right over your shoulder,
- 2:52Speaker 3: there's a couple of presents that look like they're about
- 2:54Speaker 3: to go up for decor.
- 2:55Speaker 4: Yeah, but not quite yet, not ready, just yet. We're
- 2:59Speaker 4: getting there. How about you? You got the lights up yet?
- 3:02Speaker 2: No, not yet.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Next week do you do it? Do you put him up?
- 3:07Speaker 2: No? No.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Last year was the first year that I've never not
- 3:13Speaker 4: done it myself. And we, you know, we called we
- 3:18Speaker 4: had a we had a guy that came and did
- 3:20Speaker 4: it for us. And because that's that's like a pretty
- 3:25Speaker 4: popular thing these days. Oh for sure, all sorts of
- 3:27Speaker 4: different companies doing this. Guy was a Solow just kind
- 3:31Speaker 4: of doing it himself, outsourcing it himself, nice little entrepreneur,
- 3:36Speaker 4: and he did a great job.
- 3:37Speaker 2: And so I'll never go back.
- 3:40Speaker 4: So no more Clark Griswold for you, No more Clark
- 3:42Speaker 4: Grisswol for me, no more untangling it from the It
- 3:45Speaker 4: doesn't matter how good you roll it up at the
- 3:48Speaker 4: end of every year, how good you tape it up, maybe
- 3:50Speaker 4: put a zip tie on it, whatever, it still gets
- 3:52Speaker 4: tangled and I don't understand it. But we're festive. But no,
- 4:00Speaker 4: I'm doing great, man. I'm excited for the weekend. Uh,
- 4:03Speaker 4: the weather's fantastic. Got football l s U Alabama? Yep?
- 4:10Speaker 2: Whoever the Saints play? Do they even play? Panthers?
- 4:14Speaker 4: Panthers yep, got that game. Kind of checked out after
- 4:19Speaker 4: last week on the Saints. Be honest with you, I know,
- 4:21Speaker 4: if I gotta be honest, and you were in like
- 4:24Speaker 4: all them, you were all in all they did My
- 4:27Speaker 4: guy rat right wrong rat debt.
- 4:30Speaker 3: But uh, if got lit is listening to the show
- 4:33Speaker 3: and you want to hook me have some Christmas lights again?
- 4:37Speaker 2: That was awesome, No big deal. Yeah, shout out to them.
- 4:39Speaker 4: That was fun.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Wait, you can install. These are gonna look much better
- 4:43Speaker 3: than when I do them. Okay, all right, a dog
- 4:45Speaker 3: a hunt. That didn't look too great.
- 4:49Speaker 4: When I did to myself, but we had you're big,
- 4:52Speaker 4: your your big g I I guy, though I am.
- 4:55Speaker 4: You do a lot of things that I wouldn't expect
- 4:57Speaker 4: you to do not because you want to because Katie
- 4:59Speaker 4: makes you. I'm sure, yeah, obviously, yeah, obviously. But you
- 5:02Speaker 4: can learn anything from YouTube, which is fantastic. I'm thinking
- 5:05Speaker 4: about putting in some and selling some French drains myself,
- 5:08Speaker 4: and you're gonna do it yourself. Yeah, I've been watching
- 5:10Speaker 4: some French train videos.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Who are you calling to help you? That feels like
- 5:15Speaker 3: me and Dixon might be in your in your job.
- 5:17Speaker 4: I've already I've already called YouTube.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I understand you've called YouTube, but I feel like that's
- 5:24Speaker 3: gonna be more than a one person job.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Do you have any French train experience?
- 5:30Speaker 2: Moderate? Yeah?
- 5:31Speaker 4: Well you mean you gotta gotta gotta dig.
- 5:34Speaker 2: A little canal, Yeah, gotta get some aggregate.
- 5:36Speaker 4: You gotta get some piping, Yeah, a lot of DIY,
- 5:40Speaker 4: a little tricks of the trade. Right, they're excited about it?
- 5:43Speaker 4: Are you gotta make sure the angles are right? Water's
- 5:47Speaker 4: got a flow, baby, and.
- 5:48Speaker 2: You're excited about this?
- 5:50Speaker 4: Oh?
- 5:50Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I'm really excited about it all right?
- 5:52Speaker 3: Are you gonna do it on Sunday instead of watching
- 5:54Speaker 3: the Saints play?
- 5:55Speaker 4: I'm well, I like to play outside, so I might
- 5:59Speaker 4: do some sure fridge draining outside I just want to
- 6:03Speaker 4: get into brickland too. Have you ever done that? Yeah?
- 6:08Speaker 4: That too? Yeah, yeah, you.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Want to get into it. Huh something you want to
- 6:13Speaker 3: dabble in wet.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Yeah, we need a little help, we need a little
- 6:19Speaker 4: brick wall action.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I can tell you.
- 6:21Speaker 3: I can tell you so of all the things that
- 6:24Speaker 3: I've done, because Katie's redone like nine houses. So it's
- 6:29Speaker 3: like you better learn or you better get ready to pay.
- 6:32Speaker 3: And when you're redoing them in the houses, you don't
- 6:34Speaker 3: really want to you know, you don't want to shell out,
- 6:36Speaker 3: and you try to make a profit when you're flipping
- 6:38Speaker 3: a house. I don't mess with plumbing. I don't mess
- 6:41Speaker 3: with plumbing. That's not bad that that's an expert thing.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I'm talking about, like installing like a new half bath. Okay, right,
- 6:50Speaker 2: I'm sure, but yeah, I.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Can do all the I'll work with wood, I'll do
- 6:54Speaker 3: all these things. I'm not installing plumbing. No, Yeah, that's
- 6:58Speaker 3: for the experts that attach yeah leg together. Yeah, and
- 7:03Speaker 3: that's how you ended up with like a flooded yard.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Probably pryly while you're getting those new drains French trains, French.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Trains, Okay, spice it up.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Churching it up over there, dirt. I am more excited
- 7:19Speaker 3: about Saturday than Sunday.
- 7:21Speaker 4: That's for sure, no doubt, no doubt. I'm very excited
- 7:24Speaker 4: about Saturday. Got a big slate of college football. Now,
- 7:27Speaker 4: how many night games has this been for LSU. I
- 7:30Speaker 4: think we've only played one in the day.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I feel like Vanderbilt was in the daytime. I think
- 7:35Speaker 2: that might be it. Yeah, it might be it.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Now you're gonna have Arkansas at homes going to be
- 7:40Speaker 3: in the daytime.
- 7:41Speaker 2: It's an early kick.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Now, you did that to yourself obviously with the record,
- 7:47Speaker 3: and then they didn't help either with their record, So
- 7:50Speaker 3: that one will be during the day. But it's going
- 7:52Speaker 3: to be like it's a great atmosphere. Alabama fans are
- 7:58Speaker 3: going to show up for the LSU. I've heard so
- 8:00Speaker 3: many people, I've seen so many clips of Alabama fans
- 8:05Speaker 3: being like, yeah, like we don't really like Tennessee, we
- 8:08Speaker 3: don't like Auburn obviously, and those are our two biggest rivals.
- 8:13Speaker 3: But there's something different about LSU weekend in Tuscaloosa. Sure,
- 8:16Speaker 3: Like there's like kind of just like respect factor. It's
- 8:19Speaker 3: a hate too, but it's like a respect factor. And
- 8:22Speaker 3: the weekend when LSU comes to town, everybody is on
- 8:27Speaker 3: a different level. Like I've seen like ten videos of that,
- 8:30Speaker 3: So I'm excited to be in the atmosphere.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I'm a meat heead.
- 8:33Speaker 3: My favorite thing to do was to go on the
- 8:35Speaker 3: road and you make the play and you could hear
- 8:37Speaker 3: a pin drop in their stadium.
- 8:39Speaker 4: There's no better feeling. So you got that opportunity. You
- 8:43Speaker 4: got that opportunity to make him hurt. This is one
- 8:47Speaker 4: of those situations where you know, you know, I don't
- 8:51Speaker 4: know how the mathematics works out, but virtually you're out
- 8:55Speaker 4: of the playoff hopes obviously, so you can make them
- 9:00Speaker 4: hurt and make them real sad and make them miserable
- 9:02Speaker 4: and take them down with you. So it's one of
- 9:05Speaker 4: those deals where what a great and incredible opportunity is
- 9:08Speaker 4: for those kids that come together. And we've seen it.
- 9:10Speaker 4: We've been over to the facility, we've heard Coach Frank talk,
- 9:14Speaker 4: We've heard all the things coming out. Despite everything that's
- 9:18Speaker 4: happened with the administrative level and the government level of
- 9:22Speaker 4: the whole LSU situation right now, it seems like everything
- 9:25Speaker 4: within that building, within that football building, is pointed in
- 9:29Speaker 4: the right direction and the Ara pointed up and Frank
- 9:32Speaker 4: Wilson said it on our show the other day. I
- 9:34Speaker 4: don't really know what the outcome of the game is
- 9:36Speaker 4: going to be, but our team is going to fight,
- 9:39Speaker 4: and our team is gonna strain. And I love that
- 9:42Speaker 4: use of that word strain because it's something that you
- 9:46Speaker 4: have to do to be able to compete, and that
- 9:48Speaker 4: I think that's something that might have been lacking every
- 9:51Speaker 4: now and then. I'm not going to see every play.
- 9:53Speaker 4: I'm not going to say we've played lazy all the
- 9:55Speaker 4: time and we've done these different things, but I think
- 9:58Speaker 4: it's a little bit different. How excited did he get
- 10:02Speaker 4: when we asked him how practice was this week? Jake
- 10:05Speaker 4: and Matt y'all would have loved practice. He stopped you finish?
- 10:08Speaker 4: He did, and they said we were hitting. Yeah, and
- 10:12Speaker 4: that's something we just haven't crazy we haven't seen because
- 10:15Speaker 4: we haven't been at Price, but like we haven't heard
- 10:18Speaker 4: that they've been doing that, and so all those things
- 10:20Speaker 4: have come out about you know, being practiced is a
- 10:22Speaker 4: little bit, you know, a little bit uh different, I
- 10:25Speaker 4: guess if you will, But it seems like we turned
- 10:29Speaker 4: the corner now again that doesn't automatically put points on
- 10:32Speaker 4: the board. You got to execute your plays. You have
- 10:35Speaker 4: to call the right plays. We got a you know,
- 10:37Speaker 4: a new play caller, so we'll see how, you know,
- 10:41Speaker 4: if he can get into a rhythm, get us flow
- 10:43Speaker 4: gart no Smeyer. He still has not played like himself
- 10:45Speaker 4: all year, doesn't you know. I mean it's he's not
- 10:48Speaker 4: the one that's having a strain and like fight and
- 10:50Speaker 4: hit people like we've we've heard that. So it's one
- 10:54Speaker 4: of those things, like he's got to get in and
- 10:56Speaker 4: play better quarterback position. Now they have to put him
- 10:58Speaker 4: in better position. They have to call better plays, they
- 11:00Speaker 4: have to give him better routes, they have to give
- 11:01Speaker 4: him better concepts and put him and give him a
- 11:05Speaker 4: better opportunity to do that. But yeah, of course you
- 11:08Speaker 4: got to execute football plays. But I'm just excited to
- 11:10Speaker 4: see how those kids come together and fight.
- 11:12Speaker 3: To me, yeah me too. It reminds me a little bit.
- 11:16Speaker 3: And we talked about this yesterday. I think I don't
- 11:18Speaker 3: or even remember what show I talked about it on.
- 11:21Speaker 3: But of the twenty twenty one game, Now, you were
- 11:23Speaker 3: a three touchdown dog in that game and you went
- 11:26Speaker 3: to Alabama. Coacho who had been let go, he was
- 11:28Speaker 3: going to finish the year, and you went there.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I mean Max Johnson's playing quarterback.
- 11:33Speaker 3: He threw a touchdown pass to Brian Thomas Junior to
- 11:36Speaker 3: Jack besh right.
- 11:38Speaker 2: And so it was that team.
- 11:40Speaker 3: TDP Jack besh pace for the Raiders. Oh Max, Yeah, yeah,
- 11:45Speaker 3: TDP had a big game. He had a costly fumble,
- 11:49Speaker 3: but he had a big game. And you look, you
- 11:52Speaker 3: threw it into the end zone. If you catch it,
- 11:55Speaker 3: you tie it up. Extra point would have won it.
- 11:57Speaker 3: And you were a three touchdown dog. And they fought hard,
- 12:01Speaker 3: hard in that game. They played cover zero all game.
- 12:04Speaker 3: They're bringing people left and right, and they had a
- 12:07Speaker 3: good plan in the run game.
- 12:09Speaker 2: And you lost twenty to fourteen.
- 12:11Speaker 3: And again you threw it into the end zone last
- 12:13Speaker 3: play the game, you catch it, you know, I think
- 12:16Speaker 3: actually there was a penalty a holding ability.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Well last play, but either way, you get what I'm saying.
- 12:20Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying.
- 12:21Speaker 3: So like, this isn't that situation and being a three
- 12:26Speaker 3: touchdown dog, being a.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Five hundred football team.
- 12:30Speaker 3: You know, with with Max Sjohnson at quarterback, this is
- 12:34Speaker 3: a five and three football team that's underperformed. But they've
- 12:37Speaker 3: had some flashes, certainly defensively, and you're what is it? It's
- 12:42Speaker 3: a touchdown spread right at Alabama? Nine and a half
- 12:46Speaker 3: right now?
- 12:47Speaker 2: All right, so nine and a half.
- 12:48Speaker 3: It's not twenty one like it was last time in
- 12:50Speaker 3: the situation that I'm talking about. So I'm with Frank,
- 12:54Speaker 3: I don't know the outcome. I just wanted to look different.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I just wanted to look like LU football. I just
- 13:01Speaker 3: wanted to look like the games that we were a
- 13:05Speaker 3: part of, the games that we've seen so many times before,
- 13:08Speaker 3: where your opponent win, lose, or whatever they felt like
- 13:12Speaker 3: they played you two weeks from now.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yep, yeah, make them feel it. LSU got to make
- 13:18Speaker 4: Alabama feel you tomorrow night and feel you, of course
- 13:23Speaker 4: on the scoreboard and your.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Execution, but physically physically feel you.
- 13:30Speaker 4: You want Alabama to wake up the next day and
- 13:32Speaker 4: be sore, right sore from being in a battle. And
- 13:36Speaker 4: I think that we've kind of missed that mentality a
- 13:38Speaker 4: little bit throughout the season. But look, Lsho's the team
- 13:41Speaker 4: the exact same roster as we started started the season,
- 13:45Speaker 4: exact same roster that was preseason ranked in the top ten.
- 13:47Speaker 4: That was when we were into SEC media days, most
- 13:49Speaker 4: people were choosing picking LSU to either be to win
- 13:53Speaker 4: or play in the championships. So the team is not
- 13:57Speaker 4: a different team. It's the same team that I've had
- 14:00Speaker 4: that played a little bit lackluster at times. The play calling,
- 14:04Speaker 4: the scheme, the offensive scheme that we've brought to the
- 14:07Speaker 4: table has been far from lackluster. It's been behind that
- 14:12Speaker 4: it has not been good. So I'm looking forward to
- 14:17Speaker 4: what could be and what we could see because the
- 14:19Speaker 4: potential is there, the talent is there. They just got
- 14:24Speaker 4: to go there with the right mindset, the right game
- 14:27Speaker 4: plan and execute on it. And if you do that, yeah,
- 14:30Speaker 4: you got a real good.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Chance of beating Alabama.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Yeah you are. I mean, there's no reason that you
- 14:35Speaker 4: can't beat Yet, if all things were equal, and let's
- 14:40Speaker 4: say we had better coaching on the offensive side of
- 14:42Speaker 4: the ball throughout the season, we executed better, the mentality
- 14:45Speaker 4: was there, or practice might have been a little bit better.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Whatever all those rumors that we've heard before Brian Kelly
- 14:50Speaker 4: was let go, there's no reason that you shouldn't be
- 14:52Speaker 4: as good or better of a football team as Alabama.
- 14:55Speaker 3: All right, get you ready for the first break of
- 14:58Speaker 3: the show a lot of chatter in that chat about
- 15:00Speaker 3: still the YouTube TV situation. The game is on ABC,
- 15:06Speaker 3: and so, as Jeremy points out, you can find some
- 15:08Speaker 3: Bundy years. But also as as Greg points out, you
- 15:13Speaker 3: can go old fashioned little radio call. You could gather
- 15:18Speaker 3: around in your living room.
- 15:19Speaker 4: That'd be a choice.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Gather around, listen to it like I used to listen
- 15:24Speaker 3: to Jim and Doug in the living room.
- 15:26Speaker 4: You can do it all gathered like an Indian style
- 15:29Speaker 4: theater of the mind, Indian style on the living room floor,
- 15:32Speaker 4: with the fire going and listening and waiting on every word.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Okay that they said, yep, sure you can do that
- 15:40Speaker 2: as well.
- 15:40Speaker 4: I don't know if you sound like that. I definitely
- 15:42Speaker 4: don't want to live.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Shut up, all right, we'll be back more OTV off
- 15:47Speaker 2: the bench, all right. Go to trash arrangers dot com.

- 17:19Speaker 1: One in the second?
- 17:21Speaker 5: Sometimes things.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Tigers turn talkers. This is off the bench.
- 17:32Speaker 4: I want to do.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Gets so well, that's the way you come into a segment.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Am I A.
- 17:44Speaker 2: No, I didn't know you're a big am? I A fan?
- 17:46Speaker 4: I like that song.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Okay, all right, learn something new. Let's go ahead.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Since we're here, it's Football Friday Live from Rouses Rowses
- 17:58Speaker 3: on Burbank and Lee come hang out with us Breakfast
- 18:01Speaker 3: bar Hidden.

- 18:04Speaker 3: By the way, he's making it about to be popping popping.
- 18:08Speaker 3: A lot of stuff going on here, but let's go
- 18:10Speaker 3: ahead and get this show started.
- 18:12Speaker 1: It's time to get glowing courtesy of go flow ivy Spa,
- 18:16Speaker 1: where hydration, vitamins and a summer ready glow are always
- 18:19Speaker 1: on tap.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Now for starters, all right.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Go to go flow iv dot com, g e a
- 18:28Speaker 3: u xflowiv dot com, go flow ivy Spa.
- 18:34Speaker 2: I probably need to go over there today.
- 18:36Speaker 3: There's probably something I need to do before I get
- 18:38Speaker 3: over to Bird to go.
- 18:39Speaker 4: Call k he be an option but here. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:42Speaker 4: you are going. You try to send you over there yesterday?
- 18:45Speaker 4: Oh too boozy, I was my bro. All you need
- 18:47Speaker 4: is thirty minutes.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I know. I didn't have thirty minutes yesterday. I've got
- 18:51Speaker 2: thirty minutes today before I travel.
- 18:52Speaker 4: That's to make time, brother, I know, gotta make time.
- 18:55Speaker 4: You know what, when you go over there, ask for
- 18:57Speaker 4: the Meyers cocktail. Okay, you want to get that immune
- 19:02Speaker 4: system pumping.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Like you want to walk into a speak easy and
- 19:04Speaker 3: like you say that and it's like I'm gonna get access.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like the back room situation. Yeah, it's a
- 19:10Speaker 4: little speakeasy. Now Myers cocktail. It's got all the vitamins
- 19:13Speaker 4: and it's gonna boost that immune system. It's gonna fight
- 19:16Speaker 4: off all those running noses. In that terrible voice that
- 19:18Speaker 4: you got over there, shut up. So right, the Golden
- 19:20Speaker 4: flu season. Look it's November, November seventh, twenty twenty five,
- 19:25Speaker 4: and uh an idiot, Yeah, Golden flu season. Go go
- 19:28Speaker 4: fight it off, Go get hydrated, go get vitamizer right
- 19:30Speaker 4: there and go float ivy.
- 19:32Speaker 3: All right, So the LSU injury report as they get
- 19:37Speaker 3: ready to head to Tuscaloosa, Carrie's current will play against Alabama.
- 19:42Speaker 3: It's a big boost. You got one of your tackles.
- 19:45Speaker 3: We were wondering what that was going to look like.
- 19:47Speaker 3: So good news there, bad news. Wit weeks is doubtful.
- 19:54Speaker 2: So Frank Wilson said.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Last night that Witt is trying to play, but there's
- 19:59Speaker 3: less than a fifth chance he suits up.
- 20:02Speaker 2: It's not great, No, it's not great.
- 20:04Speaker 3: And this was the target date for Wit talking to
- 20:08Speaker 3: him a couple of weeks ago, like the Alabama game
- 20:10Speaker 3: was his all right, the bye week, I have a
- 20:12Speaker 3: couple of weeks. That's the game that I want to
- 20:14Speaker 3: get back to and just hasn't responded, Uh you know
- 20:20Speaker 3: to the rehab there, And let me tell you, nobody's
- 20:22Speaker 3: more mad about.
- 20:24Speaker 2: It than with weeks.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Yeah. Unfortunately, this isn't one of those Zion situations. No, No,
- 20:32Speaker 4: we're going to see how long we could stretch this
- 20:34Speaker 4: minor injury. This is one of those fight like a
- 20:38Speaker 4: dog to get back on there and do all the
- 20:40Speaker 4: rehab you can want to get back out of there because
- 20:43Speaker 4: you could tell you can see the hurt in his
- 20:45Speaker 4: face when he's not when he's on the sideline, And
- 20:48Speaker 4: that's the way it should be when you're a competitive
- 20:49Speaker 4: athlete and a guy that wants to be and a
- 20:51Speaker 4: guy that's an undisputed leader.
- 20:53Speaker 3: He said, like his eyes started to like glass up
- 20:55Speaker 3: a little bit when I was talking with him, and
- 20:57Speaker 3: he wasn't going to be able to.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Go remember when he got kicked out of the game
- 21:00Speaker 4: here Florida, what he was doing on the sideline. That's
- 21:03Speaker 4: a man that wants to go play LSU Tiger football. Yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 4: So he he kind of epitomizes what everything that we
- 21:09Speaker 4: kind of talk about, how you want how you want
- 21:11Speaker 4: everybody to go and play.
- 21:12Speaker 2: He kind of epitomizes that. I know.
- 21:13Speaker 3: It's like a twenty point difference in points per game
- 21:16Speaker 3: with with.
- 21:17Speaker 4: That with I know, which is wild because like you know,
- 21:20Speaker 4: he's not making tackles from sideline to sideline every single play.
- 21:23Speaker 4: It's just the it's the emotions, right, It's the it's
- 21:27Speaker 4: the you know, if we look on the offensive side
- 21:30Speaker 4: of the ball, it's a quarterback that's calm, cool and
- 21:32Speaker 4: collective and you're in as confident in the huddle and
- 21:35Speaker 4: a guy that's stuttered in the huddle and doesn't know
- 21:36Speaker 4: what it's like. It just makes everybody feel a certain way.
- 21:40Speaker 4: And that's what a leader does. I don't care if
- 21:42Speaker 4: it's football. I don't care if it's if it's in
- 21:45Speaker 4: the in the office building, I don't care if it's
- 21:47Speaker 4: Tidley Winks, whatever it is.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Are you get out of here here? Look at us?
- 21:52Speaker 2: What is tilly man? I don't know, but I was
- 21:54Speaker 2: about to say it.
- 21:54Speaker 4: We're gonna look it up.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll do it.
- 21:56Speaker 4: But yeah, it's just that that's what he brings to
- 21:58Speaker 4: the table and he can try it. And you saw
- 22:01Speaker 4: him on the sideline last game. Against a and m
- 22:03Speaker 4: like yelling and pumping everybody up on the sideline. It
- 22:06Speaker 4: just hits it when you got sweatpants on. Though. You know,
- 22:08Speaker 4: it's just not the same. Yeah, it means something, It
- 22:11Speaker 4: certainly means something, yeah, but it doesn't mean the same.
- 22:14Speaker 4: So if he can't go, certainly will be missed. If
- 22:18Speaker 4: he's fifty to fifty, put him in some pads though, Yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 4: on the sideline, Like I said, like even if they
- 22:26Speaker 4: even if somebody forgets and thinks he's playing and he's
- 22:30Speaker 4: not playing, he just looks for a second late. It
- 22:33Speaker 4: just hits different when you got football pants on or sweatpants.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I hate it, man, I hate it if he's
- 22:38Speaker 3: not able to go. He is, without questioning, the leader
- 22:41Speaker 3: of your defense.
- 22:43Speaker 2: And you know he.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Does make those plays sideline the sideline. He is such
- 22:47Speaker 3: a good rusher. He is, you know, so good in
- 22:50Speaker 3: the run. Blitzes as well that Blake likes to dial
- 22:53Speaker 3: up and total effort. Total effort, which is something that
- 22:57Speaker 3: should be non negotiable.
- 22:58Speaker 2: But we talked about it last couple of games.
- 23:01Speaker 3: You've had some situations where there's been some effort questions,
- 23:04Speaker 3: Like you don't have to worry about that with what
- 23:06Speaker 3: weeks So unfortunately, it doesn't sound like he's going to
- 23:10Speaker 3: go thought that, you know, he was going two weeks ago,
- 23:13Speaker 3: thought he was going to be able to be ready
- 23:15Speaker 3: to get back into this game. And now it's like, oh,
- 23:18Speaker 3: does he get back? You know, does he get back
- 23:21Speaker 3: this season? So unfortunate because he plays so well.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Yeah, it's just you know, you start wondering about like
- 23:28Speaker 4: was it more serious than you thought? Was it different?
- 23:30Speaker 4: Like and do we really know what it is? I mean,
- 23:32Speaker 4: it doesn't really matter what it really is if he
- 23:34Speaker 4: can't get back on there. It's one of those kids
- 23:36Speaker 4: that you trust that he's doing every single possible thing
- 23:40Speaker 4: to and then some to get back on the field.
- 23:43Speaker 4: So certainly if he doesn't, if he's not able to play,
- 23:46Speaker 4: certainly we'll be missed on that defense. But you know
- 23:50Speaker 4: it's uh, I think it's going to see. I think
- 23:52Speaker 4: you're going to see even without him, I think you're
- 23:54Speaker 4: going to see a new mindset on the defense. I
- 23:55Speaker 4: think now the defense has been the bright spot of
- 23:59Speaker 4: this season. Now they've had bad games, but that secondary,
- 24:04Speaker 4: those four or five guys on the back end of
- 24:07Speaker 4: that defense, they also have been bringing all the energies
- 24:12Speaker 4: to every single game, every single play. So they're the ones,
- 24:15Speaker 4: in my opinion, that have picked it up in place
- 24:19Speaker 4: of what weeks not being there as far.
- 24:21Speaker 2: As at least bring the energy.
- 24:22Speaker 4: I don't know about their vocal leadership abilities. I don't know.
- 24:24Speaker 2: It might be awesome. I don't have no idea.
- 24:26Speaker 4: But the way they play on the field, I hope
- 24:29Speaker 4: rubs off on the defensive line, the linebacker. I hope
- 24:32Speaker 4: it rubs off on the entire team because those guys
- 24:35Speaker 4: fly around, those guys fight, those guys strain every single play.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll take Halsey, Cooley, Delaye, I'll take them all.
- 24:45Speaker 3: I'll take them a hall, i will take all those
- 24:47Speaker 3: veteran guys. I'll take them in a back alley fight. Yep,
- 24:50Speaker 3: I can tell you that.
- 24:51Speaker 4: And it's going to be a really really cool matchup
- 24:55Speaker 4: our secondary versus that talented wide receiving corps at Alabama.
- 25:00Speaker 3: And now, dude, would you travel Delaane because you got
- 25:03Speaker 3: Bernard to Williams over there. Bernard's actually been more productive.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Williams is the name and the talent. Would you travel?
- 25:11Speaker 3: Would you just play right left when you have.
- 25:15Speaker 4: Two I don't believe they have. They haven't really traveled
- 25:19Speaker 4: Delaine this year, So I wouldn't do something you're not
- 25:22Speaker 4: used to unless you spent unless you spent the whole
- 25:26Speaker 4: bye week and a lot of practice time with him
- 25:28Speaker 4: playing on the other side, he hasn't really traveled. I
- 25:30Speaker 4: mean even I thought I saw him one play when
- 25:33Speaker 4: I was sitting in the bowl against A and M.
- 25:35Speaker 4: I thought I thought I saw him traveling with what's
- 25:39Speaker 4: yeah conception, I thought us on traveling there, but he wasn't.
- 25:42Speaker 4: He just followed him down in the bunch in motion
- 25:44Speaker 4: and it looked like he was playing like Nickel in
- 25:45Speaker 4: the slot.
- 25:46Speaker 2: He wasn't.
- 25:47Speaker 4: He was just following him from the outside of the
- 25:48Speaker 4: Mando man. He didn't travel with him. So I don't
- 25:51Speaker 4: know why you would make you know that move for
- 25:54Speaker 4: this game. And when you have two I mean, it's
- 25:56Speaker 4: not like it's a week a week link on the
- 25:57Speaker 4: other side, right, so I don't expect to see that.
- 26:00Speaker 4: But you know they I mean number one and two
- 26:02Speaker 4: for Alabama good good, great receivers and not not just
- 26:05Speaker 4: like they're one and two the number you know Jersey
- 26:07Speaker 4: number one and two there, So there's gonna be some
- 26:09Speaker 4: great I cannot wait to see that because I've enjoyed
- 26:12Speaker 4: watching Ty Simpson play all season long. I think he
- 26:15Speaker 4: makes a couple of throws. He makes a couple of
- 26:18Speaker 4: throws every single game that you're like, whoa boy, that's
- 26:22Speaker 4: that was awesome.
- 26:23Speaker 2: That's like next level. That's like really good at the
- 26:25Speaker 2: next level.
- 26:27Speaker 4: But you know it's not. But it's not always there,
- 26:29Speaker 4: Like they're they're not always getting guys open. Conceptually on offense,
- 26:33Speaker 4: they they do some really nice things, but then they'll have,
- 26:36Speaker 4: you know, two three and outs in a row, so
- 26:37Speaker 4: they're kind of like a little Jekyll and Hide on offense.
- 26:40Speaker 2: But when they're good and rolling that offensive line.
- 26:42Speaker 4: I mean, there's plenty of snapshots I've taken watching film
- 26:45Speaker 4: with them where he's sitting with a wall around him.
- 26:48Speaker 4: No one's within five yards up on either side, so
- 26:51Speaker 4: you gotta get pressure.
- 26:52Speaker 3: All right, We'll take a break more O t B

- 29:22Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:24Speaker 4: I reported some news yesterday. I think here off the bench,
- 29:30Speaker 4: I think I'll know we don't want to be we
- 29:32Speaker 4: don't want to break news here on this show. And
- 29:35Speaker 4: you know I've got got a few times on radio
- 29:38Speaker 4: by maybe some fake news that comes across the old ticker. Well,
- 29:41Speaker 4: yesterday I got got reported some fake news. Oh, misinformation
- 29:47Speaker 4: maybe is what we should call it. Yesterday I saw
- 29:50Speaker 4: a tweet come by or a quote from Drew Brees
- 29:52Speaker 4: talking about Spencer Rattler. It was fake, it was real fake.
- 29:57Speaker 4: I reported it like it was real. It's so because
- 30:01Speaker 4: of my journalistic integrity, I wanted to get out in
- 30:04Speaker 4: front of it, you know what I mean. But I
- 30:06Speaker 4: can report that I definitely Drew Brees thinks that. Might
- 30:10Speaker 4: not have quoted it, might not have said it, but
- 30:12Speaker 4: he definitely thinks it.
- 30:14Speaker 2: So there you go, guys.
- 30:16Speaker 4: I'm not even gonna apologize because I don't even know
- 30:18Speaker 4: what y'all expect. Where'd you see it at? On Twitter?
- 30:26Speaker 4: And he took it as gospel? Well I take everything
- 30:28Speaker 4: as gospel in there. They had the quotation marks and
- 30:31Speaker 4: everything with Drew Brees' face on it.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Was it from a verified account at least? Mean that
- 30:37Speaker 3: matters on X anymore?
- 30:38Speaker 4: Yeah? I don't know. Yeah, it doesn't matter. You can
- 30:40Speaker 4: just pay for that. Yeah, that's true, pay for that
- 30:42Speaker 4: type of action. So he did it. Look that was
- 30:48Speaker 4: a big quotation mark too, and it says breaking news.
- 30:52Speaker 2: I can't believe you're a sentially an idiot?
- 30:57Speaker 4: Well, what's life anymore?
- 31:00Speaker 2: I got got. I don't think you might cares.
- 31:03Speaker 3: It's a safe I don't think anyone cares, right, But
- 31:07Speaker 3: I can't report that he thinks that. Okay, well, look
- 31:09Speaker 3: you got You know you're big jay journalists now, so
- 31:12Speaker 3: you want to make sure that not really at commercial break.
- 31:17Speaker 4: I had to go to the restroom and I was
- 31:20Speaker 4: looking at my phone and just saw it. So I
- 31:22Speaker 4: took a screenshot and then forty five seconds later I
- 31:25Speaker 4: read it on air. So like, what do you want
- 31:27Speaker 4: me to do? How do y'all get your news.
- 31:31Speaker 2: That old x X unless it's like Pete Zamble or somebody.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Wow, all right, pizza smooth talker.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Yeah, what he does for a living.
- 31:41Speaker 3: So yeah, preach, you're not going to have an obituary
- 31:51Speaker 3: for one coaching college football this year at least. Okay,
- 31:56Speaker 3: Luke Fickle oh coming back next year as a Wisconsin
- 32:00Speaker 3: head coach, got the full.
- 32:04Speaker 2: I believe. I believe it was audio. I believe it
- 32:08Speaker 2: was an interview.
- 32:10Speaker 3: Got the full throated endorsement from the athletic director.
- 32:15Speaker 2: All right, good, they're pretty good this year to t
- 32:17Speaker 2: Bob is them. Don't worry.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I was thinking about that, saying this is before eight. Okay,
- 32:27Speaker 4: I don't know what to really think about that. They stink, right, Oh,
- 32:32Speaker 4: they're bad, bad, bad bad?
- 32:33Speaker 2: Now yeah? Right, well good, Well, it's good to have
- 32:35Speaker 2: the support.
- 32:36Speaker 3: And what you always talk about Wisconsin, you know, is
- 32:39Speaker 3: that team that at some point was number five in
- 32:41Speaker 3: the country always probably around this time, yep, and then
- 32:45Speaker 3: they'd end up nineteenth.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Maybe around this I'm this is a little late in
- 32:50Speaker 4: the season, a little late in the season, but before
- 32:52Speaker 4: Halloween they were number five in the season, you know, consistently. Yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 4: every year game day was hovering around their games, whether
- 32:59Speaker 4: it was at home or somewhere else, there was you know,
- 33:02Speaker 4: they have a little five minute special on game day
- 33:05Speaker 4: about the jump around and everything like that, because they
- 33:08Speaker 4: were so good.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Not this year, not in a while, certainly not to
- 33:14Speaker 3: what we've known that program to be.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a little surprised that he's going to keep
- 33:21Speaker 4: that job because folks in Wisconsin love football. Man.
- 33:25Speaker 2: I was about to say, I'll lean on you for
- 33:27Speaker 2: this conversation.
- 33:28Speaker 4: Like the folks was like the good people in Wisconsin
- 33:33Speaker 4: love their Packers and they love their Badgers, like and
- 33:37Speaker 4: they expect to be good. They have great facilities up there.
- 33:40Speaker 4: Madison is a great college town, and they expect to
- 33:46Speaker 4: you know, I really think they liked where they were at.
- 33:50Speaker 4: They were the blue collar team. Yeah, they were the
- 33:52Speaker 4: team that ran the ball. They were that epitome of
- 33:55Speaker 4: like what Big Ten football really is. That fan base
- 33:59Speaker 4: isn't like and they love it, and so to settle
- 34:04Speaker 4: for mediocrity, maybe below mediocrity yep, for this period of
- 34:10Speaker 4: time is a little bit surprising at me. And I
- 34:12Speaker 4: don't think that the fan base can be very happy
- 34:15Speaker 4: up there. Like they're overly nice. They are. People in
- 34:17Speaker 4: Wisconsin are sarcastically nice, and it seems like sarcaslic nice.
- 34:24Speaker 4: So like maybe they're like, well, he's a really nice
- 34:26Speaker 4: guy and blah blah blah, but like that at the
- 34:28Speaker 4: heart of it, they want to win, man, And yeah,
- 34:30Speaker 4: it's I enjoy college football a lot when Wisconsin the
- 34:34Speaker 4: Badgers are at least relevant, and they're not. They're far
- 34:36Speaker 4: from relevant right now.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Yeah, so to your point, I'm looking, let's go back
- 34:44Speaker 3: to twenty thirteen. Twenty thirteen, they finished twenty first in
- 34:48Speaker 3: the country, twenty fourteen, thirteenth in the country.
- 34:50Speaker 2: That was what Gary Anderson. Paul Chris comes in.
- 34:53Speaker 3: They finished twenty first, ninth, sixth, thirteenth in the country.
- 34:58Speaker 3: And then Paul Chris goes four and three in the
- 35:00Speaker 3: OVID year. I still won a Bowl game, nine and
- 35:02Speaker 3: four the next year, seven and six the year after that,
- 35:05Speaker 3: and gets fired. Okay, so he finished sixth and ninth
- 35:09Speaker 3: in the country. In eleventh in the country, not a
- 35:12Speaker 3: bad run.
- 35:14Speaker 4: Luke Fickle gets you in the playoffs.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Luke Fickle seven and six, five and seven, and then
- 35:20Speaker 3: this year two and.
- 35:21Speaker 4: Six, seven and six, five and seven, two and six. Yeah,
- 35:25Speaker 4: you gone, bud, And.
- 35:26Speaker 2: They are fifteenth in the Big ten and.
- 35:28Speaker 4: They are throwing the full well do you say full
- 35:30Speaker 4: thread support? Yeah, fully throated. Okay, that's aggressive? What what
- 35:37Speaker 4: just aggressive? But apparently true? I yeah, he should be fired.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Well, I mean, does a place like Wisconsin look at
- 35:58Speaker 3: the landscape of Auburn being open, LSU being open, Florida, Virginia, Tech, Arkansas,
- 36:04Speaker 3: so on and so forth, and like, would we really
- 36:07Speaker 3: get a guy that would be better than Luke Fickle
- 36:10Speaker 3: right now in this cycle? Or do we let him
- 36:13Speaker 3: come back for one more year the buyout would be
- 36:16Speaker 3: a little bit lower and just hope and pray that
- 36:19Speaker 3: maybe he makes a coordinator move.
- 36:21Speaker 2: And it's in the a d came out.
- 36:23Speaker 3: He's like, Oh, we're gonna have more support for him,
- 36:25Speaker 3: We're gonna have a better pool of money for players,
- 36:29Speaker 3: and blah blah blah blah blah, right, assistant coaches and
- 36:32Speaker 3: all these things. But some of it can be because man,
- 36:37Speaker 3: where would we fall in the pecking order of these
- 36:39Speaker 3: jobs right now that are open, not.
- 36:41Speaker 4: In the forefront. I don't know if they think like
- 36:44Speaker 4: that up there. I don't know why anybody would think
- 36:46Speaker 4: that about their state university and that it's a proud
- 36:49Speaker 4: fan base, Like their facilities up there are great, Like
- 36:53Speaker 4: it's not like they haven't dumped any money into that place.
- 36:56Speaker 4: Like Wisconsin, they got a proud tradition, they got rose balls,
- 36:59Speaker 4: they got like, they have the whole deal, they have
- 37:01Speaker 4: the whole package. They've just been they haven't been relevant
- 37:04Speaker 4: in multiple years. So I don't think that they would
- 37:07Speaker 4: sit there and look at, man, we're just in the
- 37:10Speaker 4: pecking order of these job openings. We're at the bottom
- 37:13Speaker 4: of the barrel. No, I don't think they would think
- 37:14Speaker 4: that at all. Now, maybe they have to look within
- 37:17Speaker 4: and be like, we have not given this coach the
- 37:19Speaker 4: support the financial stout to go to go get players. Now.
- 37:22Speaker 4: I don't know any of this because I don't follow
- 37:24Speaker 4: Wisconsin football, but like, if they're saying that and they're
- 37:27Speaker 4: keeping them, it's kind of telling me that they know
- 37:30Speaker 4: that they haven't supported the coach enough. Financially to go
- 37:33Speaker 4: get players or to go get the stuff with the
- 37:35Speaker 4: higher the coordinators that he wants that they should. So
- 37:38Speaker 4: they're like, all right, well, yeah, there's a losing record,
- 37:40Speaker 4: but it's kind of on us a little bit as well.
- 37:43Speaker 4: I mean, you saw what the we're the presidents there
- 37:46Speaker 4: of the ads at Arkansas when they fired Sam Pittman.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Yeahybody get every resource with to be successful.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Yeah, we fired him last week, but like guess what
- 37:53Speaker 4: not his fault is us. We didn't give them many resources.
- 37:56Speaker 4: So it kind of gives me that feeling just like
- 37:59Speaker 4: looking at it, Yeah, that's.
- 38:00Speaker 2: W's our Virginia Tech. I don't know if you've seen it,
- 38:01Speaker 2: but like when they made.
- 38:02Speaker 3: Their job available, they like put out a plan already,
- 38:07Speaker 3: Like they put pen to paper and they like, hey,
- 38:09Speaker 3: here's our plan for our next coach. Here's the money,
- 38:12Speaker 3: here's the resources, here's what we're going to do. Like
- 38:14Speaker 3: they immediately did that because that was kind of the
- 38:17Speaker 3: same narrative for them. So hey, and that's what makes
- 38:21Speaker 3: Florida and LSU and Penn State I think very attractive
- 38:26Speaker 3: is because obviously their status in college football, but you know,
- 38:30Speaker 3: from day one, the buy in and the resources and
- 38:33Speaker 3: the desire those are already there. Yeah, where other people
- 38:37Speaker 3: are saying, hand up, my bad, guys, we didn't give
- 38:40Speaker 3: you what you needed. And then you got others that
- 38:42Speaker 3: are like, we didn't either. Here's our new plan. Got
- 38:48Speaker 3: to pay to play, bud, Yeah, you do.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Got to pay to play in this day and age
- 38:51Speaker 4: in college football.
- 38:54Speaker 2: And you also have to when you spend money, spend
- 38:58Speaker 2: it wisely. Right. No position group can have.
- 39:05Speaker 3: You know, twenty five thirty percent of your allotted money.
- 39:10Speaker 3: You got to spread it in the right way. And
- 39:12Speaker 3: that's why you hire gms. That's why you hire personnel.
- 39:16Speaker 3: It's like any team in professional sports, which now is
- 39:19Speaker 3: what we're talking about in college sports. Yeah, I got
- 39:23Speaker 3: nine guys at receiver, at nine of them. Oh that's cool,
- 39:28Speaker 3: it's great. How many are you gonna play? Probably three
- 39:30Speaker 3: at a time, right, but you got nine. What about
- 39:34Speaker 3: offensive linemen? I mean those you got?
- 39:38Speaker 2: Ah, you got kind of six, maybe seven at most.
- 39:41Speaker 4: Yep. Yeah, you're gonna start seeing the the gms of
- 39:46Speaker 4: college football at each place. You're gonna start seeing them
- 39:49Speaker 4: losing their jobs when the money's not spending correctly. You're
- 39:51Speaker 4: not really seeing it a lot. But in the NFL,
- 39:53Speaker 4: you have gms lose their job all the time, right, Yeah,
- 39:55Speaker 4: So you're gonna see gms being on the hot seat
- 39:58Speaker 4: a lot more going forward, specially if they're dedicated to
- 40:02Speaker 4: that position and they're the person that is making the moves,
- 40:05Speaker 4: because I'm sure in a lot of these places they're
- 40:07Speaker 4: still trying to figure out the hierarchy between the head,
- 40:09Speaker 4: the head coach, the AD, the GM of all these
- 40:15Speaker 4: different college is it called GM, it's just so they're
- 40:20Speaker 4: trying to figure out that peccing order, that hierarchy, who's
- 40:23Speaker 4: making what decision. I'm sure every little college is going
- 40:25Speaker 4: to be a little bit different. But like when people
- 40:27Speaker 4: start realizing though the GM's involved and in charge of
- 40:30Speaker 4: scouting and bringing these guys in and making these moves
- 40:33Speaker 4: and negotiating these contracts and all this stuff, like they're
- 40:35Speaker 4: going to start losing their jobs because the roster isn't
- 40:38Speaker 4: good or money that you get from from boosters or
- 40:40Speaker 4: donors or the NIL or the REV share or wherever
- 40:43Speaker 4: that money comes from. When that is being spent poorly
- 40:47Speaker 4: and you're not getting the results, those guys are going
- 40:49Speaker 4: to start going before head coaches.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Sometimes that's a great point.
- 40:52Speaker 3: I think you there better be some pressure on some
- 40:55Speaker 3: of these gms if you're building the roster and if
- 40:59Speaker 3: you've got to deficiencies because you overloaded one position and
- 41:02Speaker 3: didn't pay enough attention to the other and you have
- 41:04Speaker 3: an injury or.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Two, that's going to fall on you, just like it
- 41:07Speaker 2: does in the National football.
- 41:08Speaker 4: Because I think to this point it's falling on the
- 41:09Speaker 4: head coach, right that's the biggest thing that's falling on
- 41:13Speaker 4: the head coach right now. But it's gone that that
- 41:16Speaker 4: pressure and that responsibility is going to start falling to
- 41:18Speaker 4: someone else.
- 41:18Speaker 3: All Right, more OTB when we come back here live
- 41:20Speaker 3: from Rouses on Burbacon.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Leave off the bench all right.

- 41:38Speaker 3: with game day than a Chris refreshing taste of do Seki,
- 41:42Speaker 3: So grab a few, invite the crew in, stay thirsty
- 41:45Speaker 3: for every kickoff. That is do sekis the official beer
- 41:48Speaker 3: of college football Saturdays.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Today servinyde do Seki's on that team plane. They don't
- 41:53Speaker 2: know many.
- 41:55Speaker 4: That's a shame. Well, look we're here. We're here at
- 41:57Speaker 4: Rouse's right now and back. There's a beer cave, cold refrigeration.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Walk in, grab yourself some do seconds. It doesn't matter

- 42:08Speaker 4: Start icing down that seconds where it's the longer, especial,
- 42:11Speaker 4: amber special, whatever it is, make sure you do it responsibly.

- 42:16Speaker 4: sure it's a dose secis. Go for dose.

- 43:15Speaker 4: I got an interesting comment here in the chat. Somebody said,
- 43:20Speaker 4: if Nuss is available in the third round of the Saints,
- 43:23Speaker 4: look at him. And Nuss is not a third round
- 43:28Speaker 4: guy right now. The way he's played up to this
- 43:31Speaker 4: point in the year, the way that offense is produced
- 43:34Speaker 4: around him, I think he's kind of This has been
- 43:38Speaker 4: a pretty detrimental year up to this point for Nuss's
- 43:41Speaker 4: draft stock, I think.
- 43:42Speaker 2: So.
- 43:42Speaker 4: I don't think he has a third round grade probably
- 43:45Speaker 4: right now. I don't know what type of grade he
- 43:47Speaker 4: has what other people are talking about, but like I don't.
- 43:51Speaker 2: I don't see that right now.
- 43:53Speaker 4: Now he's got the opportunity here, fresh fresh coordinator, fresh
- 43:56Speaker 4: start mid season, to get back to the old form. Now,
- 43:59Speaker 4: the old form Nuss.
- 44:00Speaker 2: How do I say, how much will they go back
- 44:01Speaker 2: and watch a year ago?
- 44:03Speaker 4: Yeah, but you can't unsee some of the things that
- 44:05Speaker 4: you're seeing, right, But you also can't unsee what you
- 44:07Speaker 4: saw last year and every time every other time he's
- 44:10Speaker 4: come in and played. Now he played as a first
- 44:13Speaker 4: second rounder last year. Yeah, Now this year you look
- 44:18Speaker 4: at the body of work and if you forgot, like
- 44:20Speaker 4: he probably hasn't played like a doesn't have a draft
- 44:24Speaker 4: grade right now, like up to this point for just
- 44:26Speaker 4: this year. So there's a balance there that you have
- 44:29Speaker 4: to look at. But you also have to I mean,
- 44:31Speaker 4: there's a recency bias on everything like what have you
- 44:34Speaker 4: done for me lately type situation. But he's got an
- 44:36Speaker 4: opportunity to get back to that form, So I hope
- 44:39Speaker 4: he does. I love the kid, and I've been you know,
- 44:42Speaker 4: I think we all know that I've been one of
- 44:43Speaker 4: the biggest supporters of him, So I don't like saying that.
- 44:47Speaker 4: But if I'm just looking at it from an objective perspective,
- 44:51Speaker 4: not a fan of Garrett Destmeyer, he hasn't played like
- 44:54Speaker 4: a draft pick this year so far.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he'll have an opportunity.
- 44:58Speaker 4: I think unities. That doesn't mean that doesn't mean he's
- 45:02Speaker 4: not going to but it's gonna have to you know,
- 45:05Speaker 4: as of right now, I don't think so it's gonna
- 45:08Speaker 4: You're gonna have to slip into the perfect situation.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I do think he would be a.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Guy that would go to the Senior Bowl down to
- 45:15Speaker 3: Mobile and be you know, impressive there.
- 45:19Speaker 4: At least how many go six go to the Senior Bowl? Uh, Yeah,
- 45:27Speaker 4: I think now, I think they would look at a
- 45:29Speaker 4: total body of work for like the invite to the
- 45:31Speaker 4: senior bo That's what I'm saying.
- 45:32Speaker 2: So I'd like to like.
- 45:34Speaker 4: To actually take a look around the landscape and look
- 45:35Speaker 4: at all the seniors. You got an opportunity.
- 45:38Speaker 3: You're gonna have some new You're gonna have the opportunity to.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Use the middle of the football field.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Like they haven't done him any any favors either, Like
- 45:50Speaker 3: it's a combination, but they have not done him any favors.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Hopefully with the new offense, new offensive coordinator.
- 45:55Speaker 4: Though yes it doesn't matter what we say. But guess
- 45:58Speaker 4: what does Paul's in your hand today?
- 46:00Speaker 3: All right, tomorrow more coming your way out Number two
- 46:02Speaker 3: of OTB.
