Are the 'magnificent seven' still worth investing in? Not really
The pullback in big US technology stocks continued overnight, as it did with commodities, leading to a soft start in Australia. Almost all the 'magnificent seven' fell, but that should perhaps not worry investors so much, with that grouping now labelled 'obsolete'. Resurgent sectors and new trends are erasing the value of this old-school thinking.
