- 1:39that would be reimbursed. Bachner. Can I have one more word? Graf? Yeah,
- 1:45go off the record, now they're back, Brignac. In your role,
- 1:48did you ever coordinate or facilitate trips for foreign women
- 1:52or girls? Answer? I would coordinate airfare for women and
- 1:55men to see mister Abstein. Question could you walk me
- 1:58through that process? Answer sure. Mister Epstein would direct me
- 2:02to give me a name and ask me to coordinate
- 2:05a flight for someone to wherever it was that they
- 2:07needed to fly from to go visit them. Question why
- 2:10answer he did not tell me that question you never asked?

- 2:43Answer mister Epstein. Question who made the final determination on
- 2:47whether a young woman or girl received visa sponsorship? Answer?
- 2:51I don't know. Question do you have any role in
- 2:54a visa sponsorship process? Answer no, Timmins. Can I back
- 2:58up ask you a question if you ever coordinated the
- 3:01introduction of any foreign nationals? And you said no, Graff
- 3:05the introduction of Timmins. What was the question? Have you
- 3:09ever participated in visa sponsorship for a foreign woman or
- 3:13a girl? Timmins? Did you ever identify, recruit, screen, or
- 3:17recommend foreign women or girls for employment or meetings with
- 3:21mister Epstein or his associates Graff No, Timmins. Were you
- 3:25ever involved in the process Graff No, Timmins. On May first,
- 3:29twenty twelve, you're emailing back and forth regarding a girl
- 3:33from Ukraine. Darling. Here's a picture of the new girl.
- 3:36She's twenty one, very sweet and lovely. Let me know
- 3:39when you receive them, please, I took them from her portfolio.
- 3:43Maybe the quality is not so good, but I think
- 3:45you can still see everything. So you have a person
- 3:48their names are adacted here and I'm not going to
- 3:50use their name, but the person is Eastern Europe that
- 3:53is communicating with you, not with mister Epstein, and providing
- 3:57photos of a girl. And it seems that, I mean,
- 3:59there's no nineteen year old girl, and there's a twenty
- 4:01one year old girl. So how do you reconcile the email?
- 4:04I mean, we can get the print out for you.
- 4:06That seems like what you're doing, Graf. No, Timmins, So
- 4:10what was the purpose of the communication, Graf, I don't
- 4:14recall the purpose or what it was. To me, it
- 4:16sounds like this was models or possibly I don't know, Timmins. Okay,
- 4:21I saw it on the document. We'll get a printed Tolan.
- 4:24And to follow up on that point, I'll now introduce
- 4:26majority exhibit too. Tolan will give it a second to
- 4:30get passed out. But this is a chain of emails
- 4:32between as Groff and a redacted name. These emails are
- 4:36dated April eighteenth, twenty twelve, and the subject line reads
- 4:40first girl redacted. The Bates number is EFTA zero two
- 4:44zero two seven six three eight will give you a
- 4:47moment to review Tolin. Question. This is an email that
- 4:52was just being referenced. If you read it from the
- 4:55bottom up, the first email states, Hi, Leslie, I'm so
- 4:58sorry in front of Jeffrey for my delay. I'm sending
- 5:01you pictures of two of my friends now they're both Russians.
- 5:04Winky face. Here's first her name is redacted and it
- 5:08says there's another name listed below, and on the back
- 5:11of the page page two, there's an entirely redacted image.
- 5:15Answer okay question, and then miss Groff you respond on
- 5:18the same day with just a winky face. So, just
- 5:21for the record to be clear, are you familiar with
- 5:24this email? Answer? I don't recall it, but I think
- 5:27I said no worries, thanks, and someone else had the
- 5:29winky face question. Okay, thank you. Answer. I don't recall
- 5:34this email. The date seems to suggest that it's possible
- 5:37he was looking for new traveling assistance Timmins. Sorry, let's
- 5:40be very clear. He was attempting to find people that
- 5:43he was going to sex and human traffic for the
- 5:45next decade, So I mean, yeah, it's an assistant but
- 5:48that's what he was doing, Miss Baukner. Are you asking
- 5:51if she knew it? Timmins, I just I don't like
- 5:54people using that word assistant. I correct people when they
- 5:57say it because it's not accurate. She's in assistant, mister Witcomb.
- 6:01She's testifying, sir, you're not mister Backner. In all fairness,
- 6:05she's not disputing what Jeffrey Epstein did. If you're asking
- 6:08what she knew back then she'll gladly answer the question.
- 6:11But she's not disputing that mister Epstein was his person
- 6:14doing what you're claiming she was doing or he was doing,
- 6:17mister Timmins, and that was to find culpability in the process.
- 6:21Backner understood, Timmins. When she's facilitating the flow of information
- 6:25and people, that's why we're here. Backner understood, Well, the
- 6:29issue is whether there was knowledge or not, which she
- 6:32doesn't have. Timmins correct tol In question, So why was
- 6:37this individual sending you images of other women? Answer? I
- 6:41don't know? Question did you ask for the photos? Answer? No? Question,
- 6:44did mister Epstein ask for the photo? Answer? I don't know.
- 6:48Question where you will wear that? This is? This is
- 6:50a nude photo? Do you recall. Answer No, Brignac, Why
- 6:54would he need a photograph in order to recruit an assistant? Graff.
- 6:58I don't know that this was to get a traveling assistant.
- 7:01I said it's possible that it was. He was always
- 7:04wanting to find better and I don't know what it
- 7:06was for. I also know that he was very, very
- 7:08connected to the modeling world. He was in business with
- 7:11Jean Luke Brunel as well as other agencies. Brigniak. This
- 7:15is in twenty twelve, after he cut ties with Les Wexner,
- 7:18So I don't think you would have thought this was
- 7:21for a modeling position. What did you mean by your
- 7:23winki face, Miss Groff. That's not my winki face, it's
- 7:26whoever sent the email, Miss Tolan. And do you know
- 7:30how this individual was in the photo? Answer? I do
- 7:33not question. What did you do with this image? After
- 7:37answer I probably forwarded to mister Epstein? Question and did
- 7:41this happen on multiple occasions? How often were you receiving
- 7:44images of women to give to mister Epstein? Answer not often,
- 7:48Miss Tolan. I'll now introduce majority exhibit number three. This
- 7:52is another email chain dated May first, twenty twelve between
- 7:56Miss Groff and another redacted email address with the subject
- 8:00Jeffrey Epstein. The Bates number is EFTA zero one eight
- 8:04eight four seven eight nine. I'll give you a moment
- 8:07to review this one as well. Backner, Okay, Tolan, I'll
- 8:11direct your attention to the bottom of the page one,
- 8:13where the email reads dear Leslie, just wanted to make
- 8:16sure you got the new photo let me know please,
- 8:19to which you appear to respond that you have not
- 8:21received any new photos, and the email address, which is redacted,
- 8:26says they'll try to send the email again. Then the
- 8:28following email near the top of the page reads, Darling,
- 8:31here's the picture of a new girl redacted. She's twenty one,
- 8:35very sweet and lovely. Let me know you received them please.
- 8:38I took them from her portfolio, so maybe the quality
- 8:41is not so good, but I think you can still
- 8:44see everything with a winkie face. Miss Groff, Are you
- 8:47familiar with this email? Answer? I am not. Since we've
- 8:50been getting ready to see you, I've seen this email.
- 8:52To me, I sound it sounds like she's a model.
- 8:55Question and what was the purpose of these images to
- 8:58send them? Mister Epstein answer? I would think so, yes, Brignak.
- 9:03Why would you be sending modeling photos to mister Epstein?
- 9:06Answer because he had a business relationship with Jean Luke
- 9:08Brunel and Kate's faith with Next Modeling, and he knew
- 9:12lots and lots of models Naomi Campbell, Petro Nokiva, Tatiana Stepanova,
- 9:17famous models. It made sense to me that he'd be
- 9:20helping coordinate models. Question did you ever see these women
- 9:23receive job offers or modeling contracts? Answer? I don't recall.
- 9:28That was not something that was discussed with him. Question
- 9:31did you have any concerns with sending him these photos
- 9:34after he was arrested in charge in and indicted for
- 9:37soliciting prostitution of minors? Answer no, Mis Tolan, and all
- 9:41of the images that are attached to have facial redactions. However,
- 9:44the image on what should be page seven, the second
- 9:47to last, the very last physical image, second to last image,
- 9:51is clearly a full body redaction. Is it because the
- 9:54woman was nude in this photo? Answer? I don't know.
- 9:57I don't remember the photo, but I don't believe I
- 9:59ever saw nude photos. Question did you ever the email
- 10:03states that she was twenty one? Did you ever verify
- 10:05the age of the individual. Answer, I don't know. Question
- 10:09and did you forward these images to Jeffrey Epstein? Answer?
- 10:13I would think I did it, says to Jeffrey Epstein,
- 10:16Brignac Mims Groff. Have you ever served or sponsored a
- 10:19foreign woman for a girl's visa? Groff? No, Brignac, I'm
- 10:25going to enter majority Exhibit four, which is EFTA zero
- 10:28two zero six two five. Excuse me, zero two zero
- 10:32six two nine five to one. This is an email
- 10:35from you to AMEX Centurion Travel, dated January fourteenth, twenty sixteen,
- 10:41Miss Brignac. The email reads, Natasha, we need to find
- 10:44the flight that departs Roam and goes to London on
- 10:46the twenty ninth four redacted. This flight should depart around
- 10:49the same time the flight we're holding for redacted rome
- 10:53to Miami. No return flight for this flight. This is
- 10:56a decoy flight. She will not really take it, but
- 10:59she needs to show it on the itinerary for this flight.
- 11:02Can you put something together for me? I'm going to
- 11:05give you a moment to review this, Miss Bakner, could
- 11:08he have just one second? Goes off the record now
- 11:10they're back Backner? Were ready, Miss Brignac. Question, what's a
- 11:14decoy flight? Answer? It means she's not going to take
- 11:17the flight. Question did you regularly engage in requesting decoy
- 11:21flights for securing visas? Answer? No question. How many times
- 11:26have you engaged in this practice? Mister Backner, with all
- 11:29due respect, there's no indication it was to obtain a visa. Brignac, Okay,
- 11:34how many times did you engage in the practice of
- 11:36registering decoy flights? Miss Groff? This is the only decoy
- 11:40flight that I recall, and the only reason I recall
- 11:43it is because while getting ready for to come speak
- 11:45with y'all voluntarily, I saw this email along with others
- 11:48about the trip Miss Tolan. You said it was a
- 11:51decoy flight because she wasn't going She was not going
- 11:54to take it. Why Graff? Right? So this person, the
- 11:57woman wanted to take a flight to mister Epstein. She
- 12:00did not want to tell her parents that she was
- 12:02going to take this flight. She wanted to keep the
- 12:04flight that was taking her in London and to have
- 12:07a different flight though, take her really to see mister Epstein.
- 12:10I don't know why she didn't want to tell her parents,
- 12:12but this was not for a visa, Miss Brignac. I'm
- 12:15entering majority of Exhibit five into the record, which is
- 12:18marked EFTA zero zero five zero one six two to
- 12:21two through EFTA zero zero five zero one six two five,
- 12:26Miss Brignac. These emails are between you and redacted, an
- 12:30executive travel counselor, about paying for flights for a hotel
- 12:34for a woman with her visa, dated December seventeenth and eighteenth,
- 12:38twenty twelve. I'll give you a moment to review. Question
- 12:41who was redacted? Answer? She was the MX Centurion rep.
- 12:46Question how did you meet her? Answer? I never met
- 12:48her in person. She was somebody that I was told
- 12:51was going to be our rep. Answer by who? Or
- 12:54question by who? Answer? It was a long time ago.
- 12:57I don't know how she came to be the rep.
- 12:59Questioned mister Epstein introduce you to her? Answer? I don't
- 13:02think he introduced me to her. I'm sure he may
- 13:04have just called one day and said that she was
- 13:06now going to be our reb. I really don't recall
- 13:09how it happened. Question how many people at AMEX did
- 13:12you deal with? Answer? I dealt with her mostly, But
- 13:15if she was on vacation or sick or something someone
- 13:18else would take her spot. Question In this exhibit, you
- 13:21send an email that states redacted has an interview with
- 13:24the Consulate at ten thirty. She needs proof of a
- 13:26hotel stay and air for this meeting. If any way
- 13:30you can do faster, would really appreciate it. What was
- 13:33the reason for this individual's travel answer? I don't know.
- 13:37I think that this was an assistant of mister Epstein
- 13:39that wanted to get her visa. Question, and you assisted
- 13:42in facilitating that visa answer. The only thing I facilitated
- 13:46was getting her a ticket and a hotel room reservation.
- 13:48That was it. Question? But we can agree that she
- 13:52needed that ticket and hotel reservation in order to secure
- 13:55a visa. Answer. I was directed to please purchase it
- 13:58for her. What were you told was the purpose of
- 14:02the women's travel? Answer? I don't think I was told.
- 14:05It looks to me like she needed to get a
- 14:06visa and she was requesting it, and that's it. I
- 14:10was asked to get her a ticket. I was dealing
- 14:12with amexenturion. That's it. Question Is this an example of
- 14:15a decoy flight? Answer? No question. Why did you ask
- 14:19if it would be fully refundable? Answer? I don't recall
- 14:22maybe I was asked to ask if it would be
- 14:24fully refundable. Answer who paid for the travel? Answer? I
- 14:27don't know. Question who paid for a visa application? Answer?
- 14:31I don't know. Question did these women meet with mister
- 14:34Epstein upon their arrival to the US? Answer? I don't know.
- 14:38I'm not positive who this even is. I believe it
- 14:41was a traveling assistant, but I don't know. Question did
- 14:44you facilitate lodging for any of the women who entered
- 14:46the US on a visa? Answer it's possible that I
- 14:49was directed to provide them an apartment or a hotel room.
- 14:53Question were any of these women scheduled to give massages? Answer?
- 14:57I don't know. Question was this woman ever identified as
- 15:01a victim of mister Epstein? Answer? I don't know who
- 15:04this is. It's redacted. Sorry. Question were any of these
- 15:09women that you work with to secure a visa identified
- 15:11as a victim of mister Epstein? Answer? I believe is
- 15:14traveling assistance for all victims? Now? Yeah? Question who else
- 15:19did you facilitate housing for? Answer? I didn't facilitate housing.
- 15:22If I was directed and asked to set aside an apartment,
- 15:25I would do that, all right? Folks, we're gonna wrap
- 15:29up right here and to the next episode. We're going
- 15:31to pick up where we left off. All the information
- 15:33that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 15:36description box.
