Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: This ordinariness doesn't become you. And I had to say
- 0:04Speaker 1: something today. It is beneath you and what you were
- 0:07Speaker 1: created to be. Your answers, your power is in your dreams.
- 0:20Speaker 2: This is the power of touch.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Greetings, brothers and sisters, in the name of the Lord.
- 0:27Speaker 1: One of my favorite messages, one of my greatest teachings,
- 0:31Speaker 1: I believe, is repositioning yourself. So many people get stuck
- 0:35Speaker 1: in one stage and they think that all they can
- 0:37Speaker 1: ever be is all that they ever were. Well, we
- 0:41Speaker 1: are in the business of redemption and restoration and renewal.
- 0:45Speaker 1: You know what all of those words have in common?
- 0:47Speaker 1: The re- prefix in front of it. You can reposition yourself.
- 0:52Speaker 1: You can rise from the ashes of disparity You can
- 0:55Speaker 1: recreate your career. You can change your credit report. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: can change your relationship. You can change what you don't lack.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Reposition yourself. It's a tool you need to reposture yourself
- 1:08Speaker 1: so that you can have a positive end.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Now get this material. Get it in your heart.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Get it in your head. And get ready to go
- 1:15Speaker 1: in your phone booth and come out Superman as you
- 1:19Speaker 1: reposition yourself. The Bible says that love is stronger than death.
- 1:29Speaker 1: And if it's stronger than death, it's also stronger than debt.
- 1:32Speaker 1: It's stronger than divorce. It's stronger than depression or any
- 1:36Speaker 1: other obstacle that.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Sets us back.
- 1:38Speaker 1: You can just find somebody who loves you enough to
- 1:46Speaker 1: tell you the truth. For the purpose of this intervention,
- 1:52Speaker 1: we will not be using the normal group of tearful-eyed,
- 1:55Speaker 1: emotionally charged individuals whose loving relationships have been bruised by
- 2:00Speaker 1: this destructive cycle in the life of the proposed individual. No, no,
- 2:05Speaker 1: that's too traditional for me. Instead, let's imagine, just imagine
- 2:13Speaker 1: that the individual is you. You're likely not on drugs
- 2:18Speaker 1: per se or not being overtly destructive but subversively. They're
- 2:23Speaker 1: the perpetual erosion that has jeopardized and limited the growth
- 2:27Speaker 1: of a wholesome, abundant life for you. So today, you
- 2:33Speaker 1: and I are staging an intervention to get you out
- 2:37Speaker 1: of the rut. What rut, you ask? Who are the
- 2:42Speaker 1: individuals that are confronting me and about what? I can
- 2:44Speaker 1: almost hear you. your indignation, but before you reach for
- 2:47Speaker 1: that bulging multi-caliber pistol in your shorts and blow me away,
- 2:51Speaker 1: turning my office into a blazing inferno, please follow me
- 2:56Speaker 1: down this path and let's see what is about to happen.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Who is joining us?
- 3:05Speaker 1: We can certainly have maybe your spouse or your partner
- 3:08Speaker 1: testify on the reality they have witnessed and the consequences
- 3:13Speaker 1: they have experienced. because of your reliance on apathy, because
- 3:18Speaker 1: of your indifference, your sleep. Maybe your kids could speak
- 3:20Speaker 1: up as well, perhaps a best friend or sibling, your parents, co-worker, pastor.
- 3:27Speaker 1: When you're apathetical, your apathy has affected each of them,
- 3:30Speaker 1: dulling the edges of your talent and ambition and withholding
- 3:34Speaker 1: the best parts of yourself from them. Just listen at
- 3:37Speaker 1: me today. However there is love, Another group of eyewitnesses
- 3:42Speaker 1: that I want to speak to you right here and
- 3:45Speaker 1: right now about what they see you doing in your
- 3:48Speaker 1: present condition and with your life. And I believe you
- 3:52Speaker 1: will recognize each of them and find what they have
- 3:54Speaker 1: to say bearing some measure of truth about where you
- 3:57Speaker 1: are in your life right now. And I'll let them speak.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'll let them speak for themselves. Are you ready for this?
- 4:10Speaker 1: I need your imagination. How many of you have imagination?
- 4:14Speaker 1: Hold your hand up if you got real good imagination. Okay,
- 4:17Speaker 1: you're going to need it this morning.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Watch this.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Imagine you just got home from work, tired and ready
- 4:23Speaker 1: to relax, and then unexpectedly as you walk in the house,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you find they're sitting around the table, all the folks
- 4:30Speaker 1: who normally are in your life supposedly supporting you. But
- 4:34Speaker 1: as we're about to see, silently enabling you is probably
- 4:37Speaker 1: more accurate, but But no more. Today they're confronting you.
- 4:41Speaker 1: They're really not talking about you. They're talking to you.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Believe it or not, this is an intervention to get
- 4:46Speaker 1: your life out of the dismal realm of ordinary and
- 4:50Speaker 1: into the spectacular realm of extraordinary possibility thinking. Are you ready?
- 5:01Speaker 1: Let's meet all of your friends around the table who
- 5:03Speaker 1: cared enough to come to this, your coming out party.
- 5:10Speaker 1: The first one is Dee, the distant dreamer. Beads of
- 5:17Speaker 1: unfamed perspiration appear on the forehead of Dee as she
- 5:20Speaker 1: opens her mouth to speak.
- 5:22Speaker 3: You know Dee.
- 5:24Speaker 1: She's a dreamer who always stayed near you in the
- 5:27Speaker 1: early years. She is like the voice in your car's
- 5:30Speaker 1: navigational system. She used to be the one who navigated
- 5:33Speaker 1: your decisions. Lately, she's been lonely and quiet, silently as
- 5:36Speaker 1: you make wrong turn after wrong turn, delaying your arrivals
- 5:41Speaker 1: and hindering your progress.
- 5:42Speaker 3: You know Dee.
- 5:45Speaker 1: But now with a certain nervous edge, hating that she's
- 5:48Speaker 1: been selected to be the icebreaker with a parched throat
- 5:52Speaker 1: and a crack in her voice, she begins to process.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Dee Dreamer says, it's been so painful to watch you
- 6:00Speaker 1: settle down. For less and less in your life. Working
- 6:04Speaker 1: a job beneath your talents and capabilities. Accepting the roles
- 6:09Speaker 1: that others assign to you. Giving up creative pursuits that
- 6:12Speaker 1: once fueled your ambition. You see, I'm the part of
- 6:16Speaker 1: you that longs to be all that you were created
- 6:19Speaker 1: to be. The dreamer inside of you who loves to
- 6:23Speaker 1: look ahead and aim for the top. I remember so
- 6:27Speaker 1: many big plans we had back in the beginning. We
- 6:31Speaker 1: knew there would be obstacles, but we were young and
- 6:34Speaker 1: set our eyes on the stars. We were going to
- 6:37Speaker 1: go beyond what you had growing up to have a fuller, richer,
- 6:40Speaker 1: more liberating experience.
- 6:42Speaker 3: You had so much.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Imagination and such a vision for where you were going
- 6:47Speaker 1: and how you were going to get there. You could
- 6:49Speaker 1: see yourself in your mind's eye growing, reaching, and attaining
- 6:52Speaker 1: a life of satisfaction, contentment, and just joy. It's obvious
- 7:00Speaker 1: to the others waiting to speak that your walls of
- 7:02Speaker 1: defense are as high and formidable as the walls of Jericho.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Dino's in too. But with the strength that only comes
- 7:11Speaker 1: when we finally share the truth, she is gaining force
- 7:14Speaker 1: as she releases her concerns.
- 7:15Speaker 3: She now realizes.
- 7:17Speaker 1: That she would have said this to you years ago
- 7:19Speaker 1: instead of silently letting things go this far.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Of course, should have said it a long time ago.
- 7:27Speaker 3: She says, do you know how hard it has been
- 7:29Speaker 3: for me I mean, I love you. And to watch
- 7:34Speaker 3: your life get.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Harder and your ability to see the pinnacle that was
- 7:38Speaker 1: once your destination and motivation seemed to disappear into the
- 7:42Speaker 1: daily fog of working and living and then working some
- 7:47Speaker 1: more and looking you in the eye for the first time.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Dreams continue to speak to you. I watched as your
- 7:58Speaker 1: circumstance got tighter and choked the wind out of your lungs.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Disappointment set in, followed by losses and reality that threatened
- 8:07Speaker 1: your hopes forever, experiencing a different, better life, a life
- 8:12Speaker 1: that would allow you to be who you really are
- 8:14Speaker 1: and live out your God-given purpose. Those around you did
- 8:17Speaker 1: not encourage you the way you needed to be nurtured
- 8:20Speaker 1: and supported.
- 8:22Speaker 3: I tried to come around you, but Push me away.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Becoming more and more distant and detached from my reminders.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Instead of fighting to keep the fire.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Inside you alive, you let the embers die by becoming
- 8:40Speaker 1: addicted to a life without me, without dreams, without hope,
- 8:45Speaker 1: almost venting. She continued, after all I did for you,
- 8:50Speaker 1: I bought you through the hard times. Don't you remember?
- 8:55Speaker 1: I was there for you when life was bad. Did
- 8:59Speaker 1: you forget all of that? You locked me up in
- 9:02Speaker 1: the cellar of your soul and placed me on a
- 9:06Speaker 1: starvation diet and all I hear from you is complaints
- 9:09Speaker 1: about who wasn't there for you and who didn't treat
- 9:13Speaker 1: you right.
- 9:15Speaker 3: But I was there, D the Dreamer blurted out. I
- 9:19Speaker 3: was there or I would have been. If you would
- 9:26Speaker 3: have let me be.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Over time I watch you become cynical and negative, subtly
- 9:31Speaker 1: bitter and internally angry. Looking for targets to blame. Your parents,
- 9:35Speaker 1: your lack of opportunities, your family. People don't know it
- 9:39Speaker 1: because you are masterfully covering up your true feelings.
- 9:42Speaker 3: But I know. I know how you feel.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I live inside of you screaming and trying to get
- 9:48Speaker 1: out and speak. I know this is not the life
- 9:52Speaker 1: we dreamed up for you when you were younger. This
- 9:54Speaker 1: is not the love you wanted and the house and
- 9:57Speaker 1: the career you wanted. I know better than anything. sitting
- 10:00Speaker 1: at this table how you dreamed of more than this.
- 10:04Speaker 1: You were meant to be a high achiever. My God,
- 10:09Speaker 1: you're a baller, shot caller. You have gifts you aren't
- 10:12Speaker 1: even touching, much less using. This ordinariness doesn't become you.
- 10:18Speaker 1: And I had to say something today. It is beneath
- 10:21Speaker 1: you and what you were created to be.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Your answers, your power is in your dreams.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Reaching out to you with a warm hand and now
- 10:38Speaker 1: wet face D gently touches your shoulder and says, says,
- 10:43Speaker 1: I need you. No. No. We all need you. The
- 10:49Speaker 1: other sitting at the table give a warm nod. There's
- 10:51Speaker 1: a sound of a few quiet sniffles. Dee the dreamer
- 10:54Speaker 1: finishes her appeal with this final word. Instead of being
- 10:58Speaker 1: fully alive to the possibilities of the future, the pursuit
- 11:02Speaker 1: of the dreams that God has planted like seeds in
- 11:05Speaker 1: your heart, you resign yourself to an existence without dreams,
- 11:13Speaker 1: a desert place, parched indifference where nothing, nothing can grow.
- 11:23Speaker 1: You can't go on this way.
- 11:27Speaker 3: It's killing you.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I can't keep silent anymore and beg you, I beg
- 11:31Speaker 1: you to renew our relationship, to fight for the dreams
- 11:36Speaker 1: that once seemed to be such.
- 11:37Speaker 3: A vital part of your life. Don't give up. Don't
- 11:41Speaker 3: give up hope.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Throw off the limits that life and other people and
- 11:46Speaker 1: even organized religion and so many other forces may have
- 11:48Speaker 1: placed on you. Ah, like a butterfly emerging from her cocoon,
- 11:55Speaker 1: you must discard the useless husk that you continue to
- 11:58Speaker 1: cling around your dreams like a winter coat.
- 12:02Speaker 3: I know it is not too late.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You can use all that you have been through as
- 12:07Speaker 1: wind beneath your wings.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Come on, come on, come on. it's time to fly
- 12:20Speaker 3: it's time.
- 12:23Speaker 2: To fly still to come on the potter's touch it.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Is that you layered your costume the one you wear
- 12:31Speaker 1: to protect your heart that costume has imprisoned you take
- 12:36Speaker 1: off those silly masks and just.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Be yourself just just be yourself Just be yourself.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I am so excited that my dear friends, Bishop T.D.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Jakes and Oprah Winfrey will be together at Megafest. August 29th.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Y'all don't want to miss this. The biggest family-friendly festival
- 12:59Speaker 3: is back. Featuring Oprah's Life Class. August 29th at 9 a.m.

- 13:07Speaker 3: in Dallas. Entertainment. Just church and comedy show. Ball Up

- 13:12Speaker 1: And more.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Register at mega-fest.com or call 1-800-BISHOP-2 today.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Each person looks around the room seeing who would be
- 13:24Speaker 1: next to speak. El Lover spoke up and said, I
- 13:28Speaker 1: want to tell you something. El Lover had been the loving, optimistic,
- 13:33Speaker 1: romantic part of you. Check this out. The giver. You
- 13:38Speaker 1: know as well as I do, love gives and lust takes.
- 13:45Speaker 1: You have replaced love with lust and you take but
- 13:48Speaker 1: you stop giving lately because Lately, my attempts to engage
- 13:52Speaker 1: your heart have been dwarfed by regret and sabotaged by
- 13:56Speaker 1: bad memories. These memories are what you use to justify being, listen,
- 14:02Speaker 1: emotionally detached.
- 14:06Speaker 3: And lustfully selfish.
- 14:08Speaker 1: The only reason I agreed to speak today is that
- 14:10Speaker 1: I want to be actively engaged with you again. I
- 14:13Speaker 1: want to be connected with you again. Everybody at the table,
- 14:16Speaker 1: listen as he spoke. You take in these words that
- 14:21Speaker 1: reflect the true substratum of the issues they all have
- 14:25Speaker 1: had with you. They all knew that true love has
- 14:29Speaker 1: been on a respirator in your life for a while.
- 14:35Speaker 1: They know you were faking the feelings that used to
- 14:37Speaker 1: be genuine. Our lover clears his throat and now bursts
- 14:43Speaker 1: the pregnant pause and speaks to the issues that are
- 14:46Speaker 1: on his heart. Our relationship with each other has become
- 14:52Speaker 1: so strained. I don't even know where to begin. Whether
- 14:57Speaker 1: you think of me as your heart or desire or love.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm the part of you that longs to love and
- 15:08Speaker 1: be loved. And to be in a healthy, dynamic relationship
- 15:12Speaker 1: with another caring person like our friend D, the dreamer.
- 15:16Speaker 1: We started out strong and were inseparable.
- 15:20Speaker 3: And an inseparable couple.
- 15:22Speaker 1: We shared the fairytale dreams of finding that special someone
- 15:26Speaker 1: who would see us as we really are and love
- 15:28Speaker 1: us unconditionally. And we thought we had that, we thought
- 15:34Speaker 1: we'd found that special someone that soul made a time
- 15:38Speaker 1: or two, didn't we? I stayed with you throughout those
- 15:45Speaker 1: first few tender moments sweet and painful relationships when we
- 15:53Speaker 1: thought we were in love. And maybe we were. But
- 15:58Speaker 1: for various reasons, the relationship didn't work and you were
- 16:02Speaker 1: alone again. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Then over time,
- 16:08Speaker 1: you pushed me further and further away as you've gotten
- 16:13Speaker 1: older and continued to struggle in your search or your
- 16:17Speaker 1: Watched a one special relationship stagnate.
- 16:20Speaker 3: I've grown tired.
- 16:22Speaker 1: And instead of seeing what you're really worth, you start
- 16:28Speaker 1: selling yourself off for so much less than you're worth.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Low self-esteem seems to push you away from me and
- 16:38Speaker 1: what I could have fixed myself. You seem determined to hide.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Lust for power and for money and even for sex
- 16:45Speaker 1: has taken away any reality of passion. It wasn't always
- 16:49Speaker 1: about who had the best job or who could get
- 16:52Speaker 1: you where you were trying to go. You used to
- 16:55Speaker 1: be really there, really there in the moment, present in
- 16:59Speaker 1: the conversation. You were open and warm and giving and sincere.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Look at you now.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I see you faking your interests, distracted by what you need.
- 17:14Speaker 1: You stop giving it, so you stop getting it back. Baby,
- 17:21Speaker 1: you came so indifference and get back affections. This is
- 17:31Speaker 1: not about the relationships that went bad or had issues.
- 17:34Speaker 1: This is about your losing sight of the loving person
- 17:38Speaker 1: you were meant to be. You stopped loving me. You
- 17:43Speaker 1: stopped loving life. You stopped loving the idea of love.
- 17:47Speaker 1: And you stopped your authentic self. for a camouflage self
- 17:52Speaker 1: that has no feeling. Do you know that living inside
- 17:56Speaker 1: of you is like being trapped inside of a mannequin?
- 18:00Speaker 3: Do you know that?
- 18:03Speaker 1: You've accepted the low-grade high of status quo security and
- 18:09Speaker 1: predictability over what you and I both know you long for.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Deep in your heart.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Passion.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Passion.
- 18:15Speaker 1: That once seemed to simmer on the front burner have
- 18:18Speaker 1: now been reduced to a lukewarm leftover in your life.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Spontaneity and desire and intimacy? Don't get me started about
- 18:26Speaker 1: when the last time you were intimate you stopped hoping
- 18:30Speaker 1: for intimacy. All of those have all gone by the
- 18:34Speaker 1: wayside and I see you now getting ready to be
- 18:37Speaker 1: intimate with someone and it's like it's October 31st and
- 18:41Speaker 1: you're all dressed up for Halloween. You start the relationship
- 18:46Speaker 1: like it's trick or treat night. Neither tricks nor the
- 18:50Speaker 1: treat are what they would have been if you would
- 18:54Speaker 1: have knocked on the door in a come as you are.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Sort of way.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Just plain openness is what I'm talking about. That is
- 19:04Speaker 1: why you keep getting tricked. It is that you layered
- 19:10Speaker 1: your costume, the one you wear to protect your heart,
- 19:14Speaker 1: That costume has imprisoned you. Take off those silly masks
- 19:18Speaker 1: and just be yourself.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Just be yourself. Just be yourself.
- 19:29Speaker 1: A nervous giggle breaks out in the room and again
- 19:32Speaker 1: a somber sobriety sets in again as he continues. The
- 19:37Speaker 1: relationship you do have seems flat and unfulfilling. I know
- 19:43Speaker 1: you can't say amen Just don't, you don't communicate, you
- 19:49Speaker 1: don't dance. hope for romance. You're jaded and cynical about
- 19:53Speaker 1: everything and everyone's ulterior motives and the way they feel
- 19:58Speaker 1: and what they're up to and who's betraying you.
- 20:00Speaker 3: You're angry and You're angry at me.
- 20:03Speaker 1: You're hard for longing for something that seems to cost
- 20:07Speaker 1: so much for something so impermanent. You blame the other
- 20:11Speaker 1: gender for being so different, so fickle, so untrustworthy, so unavailable.
- 20:18Speaker 1: But listen, without me, romance I mean, you'll die. If
- 20:28Speaker 1: you keep pushing me away and settling for less, and
- 20:31Speaker 1: settling for less, and becoming apathetical in your lifestyle, you'll
- 20:36Speaker 1: never be who you were meant to be. You'll become
- 20:42Speaker 1: dismal or single, and your dismal attitude begins to flow
- 20:45Speaker 1: through your life.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Who could love you?
- 20:48Speaker 1: Then you will never know the intensity or the pleasure
- 20:52Speaker 1: of which.
- 20:53Speaker 3: You were created.
- 20:54Speaker 1: And I'm not even talking about sexual expression. Although we
- 20:59Speaker 1: both know They play a part too. I won't stand
- 21:03Speaker 1: for it anymore. You're worth more. You are worth more.
- 21:09Speaker 1: You deserve. You deserve love and to be loved and
- 21:14Speaker 1: to face the fears and disappointments that haunt you and
- 21:18Speaker 1: move on. It's time to wake up.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Wake up from that semi-comatose state in which you.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Try to keep me drugged It's time to love boldly
- 21:29Speaker 1: and passionately, to bring romance back into your life, to
- 21:34Speaker 1: hope for a good person in your life who can
- 21:36Speaker 1: love you for who you are. It's time to give
- 21:39Speaker 1: up the addiction and embrace the recovery of your restless heart.
- 21:44Speaker 3: I'm talking to you today. That's when you speak up.
- 21:50Speaker 1: You've had enough of this confrontation, intervention, mumbo-jumbo, annoyed and embarrassed.
- 21:54Speaker 1: You blurt out, I am not addicted to anything. I'm
- 21:57Speaker 1: in control of myself and my circumstances. I did all
- 22:01Speaker 1: right for myself without any of you and I'm still
- 22:03Speaker 1: okay by myself.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I am not addicted to any of you or anything else.
- 22:10Speaker 1: L-lover and D-dreamer speak up simultaneously in unison. They say,
- 22:13Speaker 1: you are addicted. You're addicted to apathy. Our lover continues,
- 22:19Speaker 1: that's right, you're addicted to apathy. We all saw you
- 22:23Speaker 1: stop caring. We watched you stop dreaming and believing. Deep
- 22:28Speaker 1: dreamer says, sadly, you seem like you are hooked on indifference.
- 22:34Speaker 1: And I know for sure that no real passion burns
- 22:38Speaker 1: inside of you. Not like it used to. Not anymore. Manny,
- 22:53Speaker 1: the manager, speaks up. A new voice enters the conversation.
- 22:57Speaker 1: It has affected everything. Manny couldn't take it anymore.
- 23:00Speaker 3: He explodes.
- 23:01Speaker 1: It has affected your business. Your finances are going to hell.
- 23:05Speaker 1: And don't even get me started on your credit. His
- 23:08Speaker 1: anger boils over when he says, you are just letting
- 23:11Speaker 1: things go. You don't handle your business anymore. You won't
- 23:15Speaker 1: face up to issues. And they are not getting any better.
- 23:18Speaker 1: They are getting worse. Manny had clearly held his peace
- 23:23Speaker 1: as long as he could. He seemed annoyed, almost belligerent
- 23:27Speaker 1: when he spoke. Everyone at the table looked at him
- 23:30Speaker 1: almost surprised, but that was how Manny was. D-Dreamer patted
- 23:34Speaker 1: Manny on the knee under the table and tried to
- 23:37Speaker 1: calm him down, but he would not stop. He said, no, no,
- 23:42Speaker 1: I'm going to say something. This has gotten out of hand.
- 23:46Speaker 1: You see, Manny the manager is a part of you
- 23:49Speaker 1: who knows what ought to be done. He is angry
- 23:52Speaker 1: because you won't allow him to confront you about this
- 23:56Speaker 1: apathetical attitude that has ruined your business opportunity. It has
- 24:00Speaker 1: carjacked your credit ratings and murdered many chances you had
- 24:04Speaker 1: to be.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Further along financially ahead.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Manny, Manny is a number cruncher. You know the type,
- 24:10Speaker 1: a computer geek of a guy. He's a tell it
- 24:12Speaker 1: like it is sort of guy. He is not the
- 24:14Speaker 1: tender guy like L Lover, nor diplomatic like D. Manny
- 24:18Speaker 1: is a guy who deals with the facts and the figures.
- 24:21Speaker 1: He cuts to the chase. He tells it like it T-I-E-S. Hey,
- 24:26Speaker 1: we got to stop right there, but we'll be right
- 24:28Speaker 1: back right after this.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Learn to reposition your life with Bishop Jake's latest message.
- 24:34Speaker 3: If you will.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Allow God to do some shifting in this season in

- 24:43Speaker 1: into alignment for what God is going to do in
- 24:47Speaker 1: your life. But God is going to do a quick
- 24:51Speaker 1: work in your life. In spite of the original injury
- 24:56Speaker 1: that started this problem in the first place, God is
- 25:00Speaker 1: going to snap some things into place in your life
- 25:03Speaker 1: that's going to reposition.
- 25:05Speaker 3: You and bring you into alignment and the best.

- 25:23Speaker 3: It's not in the place, baby. It's on the way.
- 25:26Speaker 1: We're praying about the destination, but God is planning for
- 25:30Speaker 1: the journey.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Be lifted up by the power of expectation.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Where you get in a mundane rut of low expectations.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Ordinariness is the enemy.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Be lifted up by calling on the name of Jesus.

- 26:32Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I want a mega preacher.

- 26:36Speaker 2: It's PJs.

- 26:56Speaker 1: Maybe you have a financial flu. Maybe it's because of
- 27:02Speaker 1: how bad you and El Lover are getting along. I
- 27:05Speaker 1: notice that when your love life isn't right, you overcompensate
- 27:09Speaker 1: by overspending. We have to stop there. I could go
- 27:14Speaker 1: on and on and on. Anytime you write a book
- 27:16Speaker 1: about something, you have all kinds of material, more than
- 27:18Speaker 1: you can comprise within a 30-minute segment. But this is
- 27:21Speaker 1: just a taste, a sample, if you will, of the
- 27:24Speaker 1: complexities that we all face as life changes and circumstances
- 27:28Speaker 1: change and we find ourselves in a need to reposition ourselves. Many,
- 27:32Speaker 1: many times we do not lend ourselves toward the idea
- 27:35Speaker 1: of being flexible. We have a propensity to become stuck,
- 27:39Speaker 1: to to become a monument when in fact we ought
- 27:42Speaker 1: to be fluid and become a movement. If you reposition yourself,
- 27:47Speaker 1: you can change your circumstance completely, ratify those areas that
- 27:51Speaker 1: are reflecting failure and turn them into victory. But you've
- 27:55Speaker 1: got to be flexible enough to reposition yourself. I pray
- 27:59Speaker 1: you get this word into your heart and into your
- 28:00Speaker 1: spirit and study it. It's very practical information, not deep theology.
- 28:04Speaker 1: It's down-to-earth and practical, pragmatic ideas that will help to
- 28:09Speaker 1: insulate you from destruction because you've gained the flexibility called change.
- 28:15Speaker 1: What better place to talk about change than church? God
- 28:19Speaker 1: bless you.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Have a good one.
