- 0:01SPEAKER_00: God bless you.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Welcome to another new day that the Lord has given us.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Thank you for joining me to the secret place where you go away in your silent moment, where you take your mind at ease and receive this word that will motivate.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Make the time for you.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: And I pray that this word will bless your life.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: I know that there's so many people in this world that are constantly competing against one another, competing about everything, whether it's a job, whether it's a calling, whether it's um clothing, whether it's um doing things, people are constantly thinking that they have to compare themselves to others.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: But I want to tell you something.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: You do not have to compare yourself to no one.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: You are loved, you are beautiful, you are accepted by God, and God created you for greater things.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Let's go to the book of Galatians, chapter 6, verse 4 to 5.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone and not in another.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: For every man shall bear his own burden.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: You know, sometimes we don't understand things, and sometimes we don't think that comparison and comparing yourself to others can be something that can discourage you because God created you so special, God created you unique, He created you with gifts and talents that all you have to do is explore them.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Comparison can make a blessed person feel so empty.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: It can't.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: It can make you feel so empty at times.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: You can be walking in exactly what God gave you and suddenly feel behind because you looked at somebody else's life.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Haven't you noticed that?
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Sometimes people tend to look at somebody else's life, what they can see on the outside, but not what they can see on the inside.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: And we have to stop doing that.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: We have to live life, being grateful for who God created us to be, being grateful because here we are a new day, able to open our eyes, able to move our hands, able to walk, able to do things.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: A new day that God gave you to be yourself, not anyone else.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: God did not call you.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Think about this.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: He did not call you to become another person, he called you to be yourself, be who you are, because who you are is what God wants.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: You know, a lot of people think that in order to come to Christ, you gotta be perfect, you gotta be different.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: You know, when I came to Christ, I was broken, I was myself.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: I used to curse up a storm, I used to think it was okay, but you know what?
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: It took one person to believe in me, and I will never forget a man of God that believed in me and was always telling me there's a calling for your life.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: And I came as I was, and as I was is who got fixed.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: You see, you don't have to compare yourself, you don't have to be different, be who you are because who you are, God will transform according to his will.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Just seek God and give him your all, but be real to him.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Come with your flaws, come with your hurts, come with your worries, and cast it all to him.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: Give it to him.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: God did not call you to become another person.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: He gave you your voice, he gave you your testimony, he gave you your gifts, he gave you your assignment.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: And someone else's success does not mean you are falling, that you are failing, you are falling, you're you can't get up.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Of course not.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Think about who God created you to be, especially in a world of social media.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Remember that you are often comparing everyday life to someone else's selected moments.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Stay focused on what God placed in your hands.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: Not every post that you see can be true.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Some people are just crying out for help, some people are just posting and crying out for help.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: How you know a person is carrying the fruits of the spirit?
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Because a person that is carrying the fruits of the spirit behaves differently.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: So not everything that you see is real.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Be careful with comparing yourself to people.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Celebrate others without questioning yourself.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Learn from people without trying to become them.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: There is freedom, there is true freedom when you say, God, thank you.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Thank you, God, for what you're doing through them, and thank you, God, for what you are doing through me.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And be happy at all times.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Don't compare yourself to anyone because God created you different.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: And there can be many people, but there will be no one ever like you.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: So think about that.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: And I want to say this prayer for you.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Heavenly Father, mighty God, deliver us from comparison, Father God.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Help us celebrate others, Father God, while remaining faithful to our own assignments, Lord.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Teach us, Father God, to recognize gifts that you place inside of us and use them for your glory in Jesus' mighty name.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: I pray.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: God bless you.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Have a blessed filled day.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: And remember this you are you.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Keep it real, be who you are because that's who God wants to change.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: You.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: God bless.
