- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning and welcome to Bongina Report Early Edition. Canada's
- 0:04Speaker 1: national hockey team boos America's national anthem. The chairman of
- 0:09Speaker 1: the Munich Security Conference cries, literally, over J.D. Vance's epic speech.
- 0:14Speaker 1: German police arrest people for posting memes. Emmanuel Macron calls
- 0:19Speaker 1: for an emergency meeting with other European leaders on how
- 0:23Speaker 1: to deal with Trump. Leftists lie that the SAVE Act
- 0:26Speaker 1: will somehow stop women who are married from voting. And
- 0:30Speaker 1: SNL smears MAGA supporters as racist. Again, all this on
- 0:35Speaker 1: Bongina Report, early edition. Canadian hockey fans loudly booed the
- 1:22Speaker 1: American national anthem before the NHL's Four Nations face-off game
- 1:27Speaker 1: between America and Canada on Saturday night. But Team USA
- 1:31Speaker 1: wasn't going to let Canada disrespect our country in that way.
- 1:35Speaker 1: They beat Canada 3-1, but not before three fights broke
- 1:40Speaker 1: out within the first nine seconds of the game. Brothers
- 1:43Speaker 1: Brady and Matthew Kachuk and JT Miller each fought separate
- 1:48Speaker 1: fights against Canadian players. Here was Brady. Guys, hockey is
- 2:17Speaker 1: the most masculine sport.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It really is.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It's the hottest sport. It's the best sport. Unbelievable. So
- 2:25Speaker 1: they're mic'd up during the game. So he said to his,
- 2:28Speaker 1: is that his brother in there? So he said to
- 2:30Speaker 1: his brother, I got him good after he had beat
- 2:33Speaker 1: the crap out of this other Canadian player. Matthew Kachuk said,
- 2:36Speaker 1: of the booing of our national anthem, I didn't like it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: That's all I got after the game. And Michael played
- 2:44Speaker 1: high school hockey. He also played juniors hockey. And he
- 2:47Speaker 1: said that this was an uncharacteristically violent hockey game. Hockey's
- 2:51Speaker 1: always pretty violent. Hockey's a very masculine sport. What other
- 2:56Speaker 1: sport are they just like, we're dropping the gloves. We're
- 2:59Speaker 1: just going to duke it out. We're going to punch
- 3:01Speaker 1: each other in the face mid-game. That's never allowed in
- 3:04Speaker 1: any other sport except for hockey. This was a particularly violent,
- 3:09Speaker 1: aggressive game between Canada and the United States. Here's one
- 3:14Speaker 1: of last night's hits. This one was from Charlie McAvoy.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Is that his name, Michael? Yeah, Charlie McAvoy.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Previously, McDavid thumped on the boards by McAvoy.
- 3:27Speaker 1: What a great hit.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Watch Jack Eichel's hands.
- 3:30Speaker 4: He takes the puck deep into his feet.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I mean, it was an incredible night. And then you
- 3:35Speaker 1: can hear Freebird playing in the background after every single
- 3:38Speaker 1: American goal. They played Freebird. It was an incredible night
- 3:43Speaker 1: for the United States. We beat Canada in Montreal, Canada,
- 3:47Speaker 1: after they disrespected our country. Just an incredible moment. Now,
- 3:51Speaker 1: why was Canada booing? It's a great question. They are
- 3:53Speaker 1: furious at the United States, specifically at President Trump for
- 3:56Speaker 1: his terrorists, for his constant assertions that Canada will become
- 4:00Speaker 1: the 51st state and that Justin Trudeau is actually Governor Trudeau.
- 4:05Speaker 1: And that's why the Babylon Bee came out with this
- 4:06Speaker 1: headline over the weekend. Canadian hockey fans boo their future
- 4:10Speaker 1: national anthem. I don't think that Canadians have been very
- 4:14Speaker 1: happy with the United States' response, nor the salt on
- 4:16Speaker 1: the wound that we actually beat them at their own
- 4:18Speaker 1: game in Canada. Somebody put this meme of us Barron
- 4:23Speaker 1: and Trump and Barron's telling Trump, we beat the snow
- 4:25Speaker 1: Mexicans at their own game. Father, it's time to invade.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I mean, it's just silliness and Canada is very triggered
- 4:32Speaker 1: by it all. People have been making hilarious edits. Here's
- 4:36Speaker 1: one with the head of Justin Trudeau and then Trump
- 4:40Speaker 1: on the players just beating the crap out of each
- 4:42Speaker 1: other with these hits. Yeah, same guy from the fight.
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's funny. It's funny stuff, you guys. You see Trump
- 4:52Speaker 1: just crushing Trudeau. And that's what's really happened politically. He
- 4:56Speaker 1: has crushed Justin Trudeau. He's going to leave soon. Canada
- 5:00Speaker 1: is reeling, actually having to have fair trade instead of
- 5:04Speaker 1: just free trade where America gets screwed over. They have
- 5:07Speaker 1: to deal with their border and the fentanyl and the
- 5:09Speaker 1: illegals who are pouring over it. And that was really
- 5:13Speaker 1: what last night, what over this weekend was, Saturday night was,
- 5:18Speaker 1: National politics spilling out onto the ice. Patriotism, nationalism sweeping
- 5:23Speaker 1: the country because we're finally starting to feel like winners
- 5:26Speaker 1: again under this admin. And while President Trump may not
- 5:29Speaker 1: have been at the hockey game on Saturday, he did
- 5:32Speaker 1: attend the Daytona 500 on Sunday. Before the race, Trump
- 5:36Speaker 1: took a lap around the track in the Beast, the
- 5:39Speaker 1: presidential state car, before addressing NASCAR drivers from inside the vehicle.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Here was President Trump yesterday.
- 5:50Speaker 5: What brings you back to the great American race?
- 5:52Speaker 6: Well, I think it's fantastic.
- 5:54Speaker 1: It's great for the country.
- 5:55Speaker 7: Our country is doing well again, and we have spirit
- 5:58Speaker 7: all over the world, this spirit again.
- 6:00Speaker 4: We brought it back, and it's been less than four weeks.
- 6:03Speaker 4: So you'll see what we do in a little period
- 6:06Speaker 4: of time. It's going to only get better, but this
- 6:08Speaker 4: is very exciting.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You see his little granddaughter next to him. It's just
- 6:11Speaker 1: so cute. It's so Americana. I just love it. My dad...
- 6:17Speaker 1: And my brothers, John Paul and Patrick, happened to be
- 6:19Speaker 1: with the president yesterday. They flew on Air Force One
- 6:23Speaker 1: with him to the Daytona 500. They were there. It
- 6:26Speaker 1: was a super cool experience for them. Here they were
- 6:28Speaker 1: outside of Air Force One.
- 6:31Speaker 3: All right, we're about to get on Air Force One.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I got Patrick and John Paul.
- 6:35Speaker 1: He's just saying they're so happy.
- 6:37Speaker 3: To be there. They're going to be on the flight
- 6:40Speaker 3: with the president.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Incredible memories for my brothers. And it was really smart
- 7:07Speaker 1: of President Trump to attend the Daytona 500 and the
- 7:09Speaker 1: Super Bowl just a few weeks ago. Trump is, he's
- 7:12Speaker 1: intertwining his image with quintessential American pastimes. He's crafting a
- 7:18Speaker 1: personal mythos that resonates with the American people. And that's
- 7:22Speaker 1: why you're seeing the drama of this admin play out
- 7:26Speaker 1: on the ice. For instance, Trump's engagement in the culture
- 7:29Speaker 1: allows him to present himself as a man of the people.
- 7:33Speaker 1: sharing in the interests and passions of everyday Americans. He
- 7:37Speaker 1: is tapping into his populist appeal in a really incredible
- 7:41Speaker 1: way and solidifying himself really as a living icon within
- 7:45Speaker 1: this country. And like I alluded to before, this admin
- 7:50Speaker 1: isn't just changing America, it is changing the world. Jack
- 7:54Speaker 1: Posobiec wrote on X of the hockey fight on Saturday,
- 7:57Speaker 1: this is what Vance did to the Europeans last week,
- 8:00Speaker 1: which is so true. He's totally right. Last week, J.D.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Vance called out European leaders at the Munich Security Conference
- 8:07Speaker 1: for abandoning free speech and allowing unchecked immigration to roil
- 8:11Speaker 1: their countries. It was an incredible speech. I mean, like
- 8:14Speaker 1: I said, he called out the UK specifically for arresting
- 8:17Speaker 1: people who pray silently outside of abortion clinics and as
- 8:20Speaker 1: well as various speech codes across Europe, the mass immigration system.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It was a really historic, wonderful address. It made me
- 8:28Speaker 1: really proud of this country to see JD Vance just
- 8:31Speaker 1: deliver so eloquently, beautifully, exactly what it means to be
- 8:34Speaker 1: an American, what principles do we care about, and why
- 8:37Speaker 1: Europe has completely abandoned everything that we believe in. But now,
- 8:43Speaker 1: in response, that the West should believe in. Now, in response,
- 8:46Speaker 1: the chairman of the Munich Security Conference literally broke down
- 8:49Speaker 1: in tears, crying. over JD Vance's criticisms of European leaders.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 9:00Speaker 4: After the speech of Vice President Vance on Friday, we
- 9:04Speaker 4: have to fear that our common value base is not
- 9:08Speaker 4: that common anymore. I'm very grateful to all those European
- 9:13Speaker 4: politicians that spoke out and reaffirmed the values and principles
- 9:17Speaker 4: that they are defending. No one did this better than
- 9:21Speaker 4: President Zelensky. Let me conclude, and this becomes difficult.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Do you see why Clay Travis said that there's no
- 9:42Speaker 1: masculine men on the left? This is why. Some guy
- 9:46Speaker 1: gave a speech and you're crying about it? He's crying. What?
- 9:51Speaker 1: What kind of a leader is that? Is that a
- 9:52Speaker 1: guy you want to follow? Is that a guy that
- 9:54Speaker 1: makes you, oh, I feel real secure living in Germany
- 9:58Speaker 1: or living in the UK? I got these beta males
- 10:01Speaker 1: crying on stage, apparently leading this country.
- 10:04Speaker 5: What?
- 10:06Speaker 1: And what values and principles is the chairman referring to?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Toppling third world foreign governments. Is that Western values? LGBTQIA propaganda,
- 10:17Speaker 1: mass immigration, a high deck globalism. What he means is
- 10:21Speaker 1: America no longer is cool with their satanic social policies,
- 10:26Speaker 1: authoritarian bureaucracy, and strict ideological conformity via really authoritarian Soviet-style
- 10:33Speaker 1: speech codes. To them, the people are nothing but a
- 10:38Speaker 1: tax base. No traditions or religion, lest they gain too
- 10:42Speaker 1: much agency. It is bleak. It is civilizational suicide. So yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: America's done being part of that. Cry harder, Europe. And
- 10:50Speaker 1: just to underline J.D. Vance's point, last week, dozens of
- 10:53Speaker 1: police teams across Germany raided homes before dawn in a
- 10:59Speaker 1: coordinated crackdown. And were they looking for drugs? No. Were
- 11:02Speaker 1: they looking for guns? No. They were looking for people
- 11:07Speaker 1: suspected of posting hate speech online. Here is CBS documenting
- 11:11Speaker 1: German police raiding a home and seizing electronics over a
- 11:15Speaker 1: literal meme.
- 11:17Speaker 8: Take a listen.
- 11:19Speaker 5: It's 6.01 on a Tuesday morning, and we were with
- 11:23Speaker 5: state police as they raided this apartment in northwest Germany. Inside,
- 11:30Speaker 5: six armed officers searched the suspect's home, then seized his
- 11:35Speaker 5: laptop and cell phone. Prosecutors say those electronics may have
- 11:39Speaker 5: been used to commit a crime. The crime? Posting a
- 11:44Speaker 5: racist cartoon online. At the exact same time across Germany,
- 11:52Speaker 5: more than 50 similar raids played out. Part of what
- 11:56Speaker 5: prosecutors say is a coordinated effort to curb online hate
- 12:00Speaker 5: speech in Germany.
- 12:02Speaker 1: This is like the Soviet Union. This is like George
- 12:05Speaker 1: Orwell's 1984. This is supposed to be free speech. This
- 12:09Speaker 1: is the Western values that we're trying to protect, that
- 12:13Speaker 1: the Europeans are literally crying about in Munich. The German
- 12:17Speaker 1: constitution claims to protect free speech, but not hate speech.
- 12:21Speaker 1: German law prohibits speech that could incite hatred or is
- 12:24Speaker 1: deemed insulting. So in other words, the German constitution, the
- 12:28Speaker 1: little free speech clause, totally pointless because they have no
- 12:31Speaker 1: free speech. It's just a ridiculous assertion. Why even say it?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Germany basically says, yeah, we have free speech. You're free
- 12:38Speaker 1: to say things the government is fine with, the government
- 12:41Speaker 1: approves of. Here are German officials laughing, laughing, when talking
- 12:47Speaker 1: about taking someone's phone as punishment for the crime of
- 12:50Speaker 1: insulting someone online.
- 12:52Speaker 8: If somebody posts something that's not true and then somebody
- 12:56Speaker 8: else reposts it or likes it, are they committing a crime?
- 13:00Speaker 9: In the case of reposting, it is a crime as
- 13:02Speaker 9: well because the reader can't distinguish whether you just invented
- 13:07Speaker 9: this or just reposted it.
- 13:09Speaker 7: That's the same for us.
- 13:10Speaker 5: The punishment for breaking hate speech laws can include jail
- 13:14Speaker 5: time for repeat offenders. But in most cases, a judge
- 13:18Speaker 5: levies a stiff fine and sometimes keeps their devices.
- 13:22Speaker 8: How do people react when you take their phones from them?
- 13:26Speaker 1: They are shocked.
- 13:27Speaker 10: It's a kind of punishment if you lose your smartphone.
- 13:30Speaker 10: It's even worse than the fine you have to pay.
- 13:34Speaker 1: They're just laughing. What psychos? And somebody in the comments said,
- 13:39Speaker 1: and they're calling us Nazis. Like, what? This is totally oppressive.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Here is Josephine Ballone, the CEO of an anti-hate speech
- 13:47Speaker 1: German NGO. I want you to listen to what she says.
- 13:50Speaker 1: It's pretty fascinating.
- 13:52Speaker 7: Free speech needs boundaries. And in the case of Germany,
- 13:58Speaker 7: these boundaries are part of our constitution. Without boundaries, a
- 14:04Speaker 7: very small group of people can rely on endless freedom
- 14:09Speaker 7: to say anything that they want, while everyone else is
- 14:13Speaker 7: scared and intimidated.
- 14:14Speaker 8: And your fear is that if people are freely attacked online,
- 14:18Speaker 8: that they'll withdraw from the discussion.
- 14:22Speaker 7: This is not only a fear, it's already taking place.
- 14:24Speaker 7: Already half of the Internet users in Germany are afraid
- 14:28Speaker 7: to express their political opinion, and they rarely participate in
- 14:32Speaker 7: public debates online anymore. Half of the Internet users.
- 14:35Speaker 1: So she says half of Internet users are afraid to
- 14:38Speaker 1: share their political opinions online. And this is, of course,
- 14:41Speaker 1: apparently a result of Free speech online. No, maybe, just maybe,
- 14:46Speaker 1: half of German online users are afraid to say what
- 14:51Speaker 1: they think online because the German government will knock on
- 14:55Speaker 1: their door and arrest them for posting memes. Has she
- 14:58Speaker 1: ever considered that? What do you mean? What do you mean?
- 15:02Speaker 1: That there's a complete cognitive dissonance here is incredible. Meanwhile,
- 15:09Speaker 1: you have French President Emmanuel Macron was convening European leaders
- 15:14Speaker 1: for an emergency summit in Paris today. And the subject
- 15:18Speaker 1: of the meeting is Trump. Essentially, how do we handle Trump?
- 15:22Speaker 1: Because globalist European tyrants are not happy with this admin.
- 15:26Speaker 1: And among other things, this has a lot to do
- 15:28Speaker 1: with Ukraine. The war in Ukraine is essentially, we've talked
- 15:32Speaker 1: about this last week extensively, a NATO proxy war against
- 15:36Speaker 1: Russia fought by the Ukrainians. Ukrainian blood spilled for the
- 15:40Speaker 1: NATO proxy war. And now the biggest backer of the war,
- 15:43Speaker 1: which is the United States, we have bankrolled this entire thing,
- 15:47Speaker 1: is trying to facilitate peace. President Trump is working on
- 15:50Speaker 1: a peace deal that will likely include Ukraine giving up
- 15:53Speaker 1: land to Russia and also guaranteeing that Ukraine will not
- 15:56Speaker 1: become a NATO power. And there are even reports that
- 16:01Speaker 1: Trump is considering withdrawing from NATO altogether. So Western Europeans
- 16:07Speaker 1: are in a panic. Now, Trump plans to have a
- 16:09Speaker 1: one-on-one negotiation with Putin, which has prompted Ukrainian President Zelensky
- 16:14Speaker 1: to declare in Munich that Ukraine will never accept deals
- 16:18Speaker 1: made behind our backs. And he then called for the
- 16:20Speaker 1: creation of an army of Europe, which basically means a
- 16:24Speaker 1: military alternative to NATO, so that it can make its
- 16:28Speaker 1: own decisions without the influence or the military control of
- 16:31Speaker 1: the United States. He wants Europe to keep this war going,
- 16:34Speaker 1: irrespective of whatever America thinks or does. Here was Zelensky
- 16:39Speaker 1: on Meet the Press this week.
- 16:41Speaker 11: So I will never accept any decisions between the United
- 16:44Speaker 11: States and Russia about Ukraine.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Never.
- 16:47Speaker 2: And our people, never.
- 16:49Speaker 1: And our adults and children and everybody. It can't be so.
- 16:52Speaker 1: This is the war in Ukraine against us.
- 16:55Speaker 7: And it's our human losses.
- 16:58Speaker 1: He says, I will never accept any decision between the
- 17:00Speaker 1: United States and Russia about Ukraine.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Never. Never.
- 17:05Speaker 1: And you guys know, and we haven't seen a lot
- 17:07Speaker 1: of the footage from what's happening between Ukraine and Russia,
- 17:10Speaker 1: and I think that's on purpose. I think if people
- 17:12Speaker 1: saw the bloodshed, we would be much more opposed to
- 17:14Speaker 1: our tax dollars fueling this conflict. But hundreds of thousands
- 17:18Speaker 1: of Ukrainians and Russians have died. Innocent men have died.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Ukraine is losing this war. They have been for a
- 17:27Speaker 1: long time. So why doesn't Zelensky welcome peace? Why wouldn't
- 17:32Speaker 1: a good leader like Zelensky, apparently he's such a great guy,
- 17:36Speaker 1: want to facilitate peace for his people? His country is
- 17:38Speaker 1: in rubble. Way too many men have died. It's time
- 17:42Speaker 1: for a peace deal. And the reason is because the
- 17:45Speaker 1: end of the war in Ukraine is the end of Zelensky.
- 17:48Speaker 1: He's enforced martial law, suspended elections, persecuted any dissenting Ukrainians,
- 17:53Speaker 1: including Ukrainian Orthodox Christians, who Zelensky claims are in bed
- 17:58Speaker 1: with Moscow. A good rational leader, the kind of leader
- 18:02Speaker 1: who we were told Zelensky was by men like Dan
- 18:04Speaker 1: Crenshaw and Lindsey Graham, a defender of democracy, that kind
- 18:08Speaker 1: of leader would do what's right right now and advocate
- 18:12Speaker 1: for peace. But Zelensky knows that this moment is crucial.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Once it ends, his power is gone. So much of
- 18:20Speaker 1: this war, I think, was artificial. From all the celebrities
- 18:23Speaker 1: traveling to Ukraine, the Vogue cover photo, the ghost of
- 18:27Speaker 1: Kiev that was a total lie spread by Adam Kinzinger.
- 18:31Speaker 1: USAID funding the entire Ukrainian media apparatus, which we now learn,
- 18:34Speaker 1: I mean, it's totally artificial. Not to mention the US
- 18:37Speaker 1: taxpayers putting the bill for the entire war. A disaster.
- 18:41Speaker 1: So many wasted dollars and lives that could have been
- 18:44Speaker 1: spared had this country had competent leadership and ended this now.
- 18:47Speaker 1: And it's time for President Trump to just say, Zelensky,
- 18:49Speaker 1: shut up and sit down. What's this, Mikey? Yes. Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 1: Ukraine is one of the most corrupt nations, actually the
- 18:59Speaker 1: most corrupt nation some standards in all of Europe. Zelensky
- 19:03Speaker 1: is not a defender of democracy. He's not an amazing
- 19:08Speaker 1: guy who just lauds Western values. He has literally installed
- 19:13Speaker 1: martial law. He has no election. He is a dictator
- 19:17Speaker 1: who persecutes Christians in his own country. I don't know
- 19:20Speaker 1: what we're defending in Ukraine. All right, let's come back
- 19:23Speaker 1: to some domestic stories And I'm just going to say this.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I don't think it has to be said, but apparently
- 19:28Speaker 1: it does have to be said because of the story
- 19:30Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you guys about. If ICE is
- 19:32Speaker 1: conducting a raid, step aside and leave the guys alone.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Particularly because we know the Trump admin is targeting rapists, thieves, murderers,
- 19:43Speaker 1: drug dealers, and gang members. It's probably not a great
- 19:46Speaker 1: idea for you to inject yourself into an ICE raid.
- 19:50Speaker 1: that has nothing to do with you. But that's exactly
- 19:52Speaker 1: what this liberal woman in Durham, North Carolina, decided to do.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 19:57Speaker 6: Do y'all have a signed order from the judge that
- 19:59Speaker 6: I can see? Signed order from the judge in your pocket?
- 20:05Speaker 6: Signed order from a judge? Signed order from a judge.
- 20:08Speaker 6: Signed order from a judge right there. Signed order from
- 20:11Speaker 6: a judge for this.
- 20:12Speaker 10: This is illegal.
- 20:13Speaker 6: Signed order from a judge. No signed order from a judge.
- 20:19Speaker 6: All right, this is going to get reported.
- 20:20Speaker 1: If you're listening, the ICE officers, they've got this guy detained.
- 20:24Speaker 1: They're just walking past her. They're just ignoring her. Woman's
- 20:27Speaker 1: name is Alyssa Cullison. And Again, the ICE officers rightfully
- 20:32Speaker 1: ignored her because ICE officers, as well as regular police officers,
- 20:37Speaker 1: are not required to show a warrant to a random
- 20:40Speaker 1: civilian observing an arrest. That's not a thing. And in fact,
- 20:44Speaker 1: if you see someone being arrested and it has nothing
- 20:47Speaker 1: to do with you, stop being nosy and get out
- 20:50Speaker 1: of the way. Here's a different liberal woman, Emily Inger Bettson,
- 20:56Speaker 1: in the same neighborhood, painting the ICE officers as villains
- 21:00Speaker 1: of the story.
- 21:01Speaker 9: It's insane to watch your neighbors get plucked out of
- 21:04Speaker 9: thin air during the middle of the day.
- 21:06Speaker 11: That's not normal.
- 21:08Speaker 1: And says when she asked agents what they were doing.
- 21:10Speaker 9: They didn't really give me an answer. They said that
- 21:12Speaker 9: they were performing a law investigation, a legal investigation. And
- 21:18Speaker 9: so I just kept trying to get information, but I
- 21:21Speaker 9: did notice... that one of the officers had a U.S.
- 21:26Speaker 9: Customs and Border Protection badge. Those officers definitely made me
- 21:30Speaker 9: feel unsafe.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Really, Emily?
- 21:33Speaker 1: That's why you were unsafe? The ICE officers? Because for
- 21:37Speaker 1: better or worse, and actually I think we should be
- 21:39Speaker 1: arresting and deporting all of the illegals in this country,
- 21:44Speaker 1: but Trump has decided to prioritize illegals guilty of violent crimes.
- 21:48Speaker 1: So ICE just likely took out of her neighborhood a
- 21:50Speaker 1: violent criminal, and now she claims to be more scared
- 21:53Speaker 1: of ICE? Sure, Emily. Speaking of immigration, do you all
- 21:57Speaker 1: remember the SAVE Act? The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act
- 22:01Speaker 1: would require states to get proof of citizenship in person
- 22:06Speaker 1: before registering an individual to vote in a federal election.
- 22:12Speaker 1: So if you want to register, you have to have
- 22:14Speaker 1: a passport, military ID, birth certificate, something. Now, the law
- 22:19Speaker 1: will likely be passed because Republicans control the House and
- 22:22Speaker 1: the Senate. You'd think, I hope, I mean, sometimes Republicans
- 22:26Speaker 1: are flaky, we don't always get what we want, but
- 22:27Speaker 1: this seems to be a bill that will finally be passed,
- 22:31Speaker 1: the SAVE Act. And some crazy videos have started to
- 22:34Speaker 1: circulate online, particularly on TikTok, because apparently the SAVE Act
- 22:39Speaker 1: is going to prevent married women from voting. Take a listen.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I don't care if you are red or blue, you
- 22:46Speaker 2: need to listen up.
- 22:47Speaker 5: If you are a woman... has.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Changed your name from your birth certificate, let's say through
- 22:52Speaker 2: marriage and you took your husband's name, you are no
- 22:54Speaker 2: longer eligible to vote if this bill passes the Senate.
- 22:59Speaker 2: It's already passed the House. So wake up. I am awake.
- 23:04Speaker 2: 69 million women have changed their last name from their
- 23:09Speaker 2: birth certificate and would be ineligible to vote.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Okay, so this is just a straight up lie. Women
- 23:16Speaker 1: who are married and change their names can definitely vote
- 23:19Speaker 1: under the SAVE Act. But media outlets have begun parroting
- 23:22Speaker 1: these same lies from TikTok, apparently, apparently the The journalists
- 23:26Speaker 1: and corporate media are getting their talking points from TikTok.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Glamour ran an article titled, the SAVE Act could stop
- 23:33Speaker 1: millions of women from voting. Here's what you need to know.
- 23:35Speaker 1: And then Newsweek, thank you, Michael, said this, married women
- 23:38Speaker 1: could be stopped from voting under SAVE Act. And the
- 23:41Speaker 1: argument is that if an applicant's birth certificate doesn't match
- 23:45Speaker 1: their legal name, as in the case of some married women,
- 23:49Speaker 1: they have to produce additional documentation to vote under the
- 23:51Speaker 1: SAVE Act. that many in views of these leftists do
- 23:55Speaker 1: not have. And I'm sorry, but this is just called adulting.
- 23:59Speaker 1: This is called adulting. If you change your name, you
- 24:02Speaker 1: change your passport and your birth certificate too. That is
- 24:04Speaker 1: what adults do. You have to make sure your documents
- 24:07Speaker 1: are all online. This is the same argument from the
- 24:10Speaker 1: left that, oh, minorities don't have IDs, therefore they can't
- 24:13Speaker 1: show ID when they vote. I mean, it's condescending and
- 24:16Speaker 1: it's insidious because the whole purpose of fear-mongering about the
- 24:19Speaker 1: SAVE Act is to make our elections less secure but
- 24:22Speaker 1: making it easier for non-citizens to vote. That's the only
- 24:25Speaker 1: reason you would oppose it. Women who change their name
- 24:29Speaker 1: after getting married certainly can still vote. This is just silliness. Yeah,
- 24:34Speaker 1: you guys know the culture is shifting. Trump won the
- 24:38Speaker 1: popular vote, and while patriotism appears to be spreading across
- 24:42Speaker 1: the country, the visceral reaction from some has not been
- 24:47Speaker 1: so great. I will say, though, that the visceral reaction
- 24:51Speaker 1: to Canada's booing at the National Anthem was perfect from
- 24:54Speaker 1: the American people. But there are still others who don't
- 24:57Speaker 1: seem to know what time it is. People lashing out,
- 25:00Speaker 1: unable to cope with losing ideological control of the country.
- 25:03Speaker 1: For instance, last night SNL dressed up Tom Hanks in
- 25:07Speaker 1: a denim outfit and a MAGA hat and had him
- 25:11Speaker 1: act like a buffoon and a racist because of course
- 25:14Speaker 1: all MAGA supporters are idiots and racists. Take a listen.
- 25:18Speaker 11: Well, thank you.
- 25:19Speaker 8: Hey, now speaking of church, can I say something?
- 25:22Speaker 4: If more folks went to church, we wouldn't be in
- 25:25Speaker 4: this mess we're in now.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You know what? I agree with you, Doug.
- 25:28Speaker 4: I'd like to shake your hand, sir.
- 25:30Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 25:31Speaker 8: Oh, no, no.
- 25:31Speaker 5: Oh, no, no.
- 25:32Speaker 11: It's just a handshake.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just a handshake.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 25:36Speaker 11: You're welcome at Black Jeopardy anytime.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Okay, so if you're listening, you probably couldn't get all
- 25:41Speaker 1: that if you couldn't actually watch what was happening. So
- 25:44Speaker 1: you see the black SNL cast member goes up to
- 25:48Speaker 1: shake Tom Hanks' hand. And he recoils in fear because,
- 25:51Speaker 1: of course, MAGA supporters are racists who are scared of
- 25:54Speaker 1: black people. That's a joke. I've actually done this joke before.
- 25:57Speaker 1: It's pretty lazy. This is a kind of a reoccurring theme,
- 26:01Speaker 1: a reoccurring joke that SNL likes to make on MAGA supporters.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You have Tom Hanks cosplaying as this older white guy
- 26:09Speaker 1: in working class attire. And then you have these New
- 26:11Speaker 1: York City snobs who put this whole skit together sneering
- 26:15Speaker 1: at him.
- 26:17Speaker 8: And just.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Saying, oh, it's so fun to ridicule and stereotype middle America.
- 26:23Speaker 1: It's very elitist, total classist, nasty, but also transparently done
- 26:30Speaker 1: out of anger. Because these people detest the middle Americans
- 26:34Speaker 1: who voted for Trump, so they are attempting to humiliate them,
- 26:37Speaker 1: to mock that stereotypical guy out of fury that he
- 26:40Speaker 1: didn't vote the way that they wanted. And it's, like
- 26:43Speaker 1: I said, it's really quite nasty and desperate. And pretty
- 26:45Speaker 1: soon SNL will be obsolete. Nobody watches. Where did I
- 26:48Speaker 1: get that claim from? Not SNL. I got it off
- 26:50Speaker 1: of Twitter, right? People shared it on Twitter and talked
- 26:53Speaker 1: about it on X, but nobody actually watched that skit
- 26:57Speaker 1: because nobody watches SNL as with other corporate media. If
- 27:01Speaker 1: you like comedy, Michael, as Michael does, go to Kill Tony,
- 27:06Speaker 1: live streamed, stand up. Is it Mondays, Michael? Every Monday
- 27:09Speaker 1: on YouTube. There are a lot of alternatives to SNL.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Nobody needs to subject themselves to this garbage. And these
- 27:15Speaker 1: guys who put it together, they really are just irrelevant
- 27:18Speaker 1: and sad and lashing out. It's so transparent. So is,
- 27:22Speaker 1: by the way, CBS. CBS's 60 Minutes decided to run
- 27:26Speaker 1: a sob story special about USAID layoffs recently. Here was
- 27:32Speaker 1: two USAID employees being interviewed. And I guess we're just
- 27:38Speaker 1: trying to create sympathy for the people that have bankrupted
- 27:41Speaker 1: this country who are staging regime change operations across the world.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I guess that's the purpose here. Take a listen.
- 27:47Speaker 10: People are really scared. I think that, you know, 12
- 27:50Speaker 10: days ago, people knew where their next paycheck was coming from.
- 27:53Speaker 10: They knew how they were going to pay for their
- 27:55Speaker 10: kids' daycare, their medical bills, and then all gone overnight.
- 28:01Speaker 11: All gone overnight for Christina Dry and Adam Dubard, fired
- 28:06Speaker 11: this month in the chaotic shutdown of foreign aid. distributed
- 28:11Speaker 11: by the U.S. Agency for International Development, USAID. More than 8,000
- 28:18Speaker 11: USAID employees were sent home by the administration.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Okay, I'm sorry.
- 28:25Speaker 6: What, Michael?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Good, I know. I don't have much sympathy for these guys.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I just don't. These people are flushing our tax dollars
- 28:33Speaker 1: down the drain, down the toilet. On totally unnecessary and
- 28:37Speaker 1: even morally evil foreign projects, we talked about it the
- 28:41Speaker 1: last two weeks. Michael Lachance wrote on X, curious, did
- 28:45Speaker 1: 60 Minutes ever interview people who were arrested for opening
- 28:48Speaker 1: their businesses during COVID and lost everything? And the answer
- 28:50Speaker 1: is no. They don't care about regular Americans and the
- 28:55Speaker 1: abuse that many of us were subjected to during COVID
- 28:59Speaker 1: by these authoritarian government bureaucrats. All the sympathy and free
- 29:04Speaker 1: PR is for USAID is going to a rogue CIA
- 29:09Speaker 1: slush fund. And the media currently defending USAID and crying
- 29:14Speaker 1: about all these employees who are getting fired, they should
- 29:17Speaker 1: have uncovered ages ago the abuse that Doge is uncovering
- 29:20Speaker 1: right now. But they didn't, because they are government PR, essentially.
- 29:26Speaker 1: And we compare ourselves to Europe in many ways, and
- 29:29Speaker 1: we are better off than they are. I mean, we're
- 29:31Speaker 1: not Germany. Nobody's knocking on your door, arresting you for
- 29:34Speaker 1: posting a meme. We do have something called the First Amendment,
- 29:37Speaker 1: which is very explicit on the issue of freedom. speech.
- 29:41Speaker 1: And at least half the country authentically values free speech.
- 29:44Speaker 1: At the same time, we have been part of the
- 29:48Speaker 1: Western thought policing and actually pushing the Western thought policing
- 29:52Speaker 1: and despotism that you see in Germany. That's what USAID
- 29:55Speaker 1: was doing. That's what our State Department has been doing
- 29:58Speaker 1: for a long time across the globe. And there are
- 30:02Speaker 1: consequences to this. We see it still, certainly during COVID,
- 30:06Speaker 1: the mass censorship during COVID. But even still today, comedian
- 30:10Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle recently revealed that SNL censored him for mentioning
- 30:14Speaker 1: trans issues as well as the war between Gaza and
- 30:18Speaker 1: Israel during his monologue when he hosted the show back
- 30:21Speaker 1: in January. And I just think that's silly. Comedy should
- 30:26Speaker 1: never be censored. It doesn't matter what the subject matter is.
- 30:28Speaker 1: You're allowed to joke about things. And this is still
- 30:31Speaker 1: a problem in America, albeit not quite as bad as
- 30:34Speaker 1: it is in places like Germany. This country isn't perfect.
- 30:36Speaker 1: We've had many years of abuse at the hands of
- 30:39Speaker 1: those who wish to destroy really all the founding principles
- 30:42Speaker 1: that we hold dear. Free speech is still valued here,
- 30:46Speaker 1: at least by a significant portion of the country. But
- 30:49Speaker 1: we were not very long ago victims of a government
- 30:53Speaker 1: hell-bent on thought-policing us. Institutional overreach overseas, but also here
- 30:59Speaker 1: at home, was real. And that's why this moment is
- 31:02Speaker 1: so crucial. Nationalism and political tensions are no longer confined
- 31:07Speaker 1: to campaign rallies and policy debates. They are playing out
- 31:10Speaker 1: on the ice at racetracks and across international summits. There
- 31:14Speaker 1: is a global zeitgeist shift happening, and it is being
- 31:17Speaker 1: spearheaded by us. I think the backlash against Canada's booing
- 31:22Speaker 1: can be seen really as a microcosm of a broader
- 31:25Speaker 1: cultural shift, where national pride is making a resurgence in
- 31:29Speaker 1: the U.S., while globalist institutions are scrambling to maintain control.
- 31:34Speaker 1: At home, the media's attempt to spin narratives from the
- 31:36Speaker 1: SAVE Act to SNL's sneering portrayal of middle America reveal
- 31:41Speaker 1: a deeper anxiety of our elite class. The ruling class
- 31:45Speaker 1: is losing its grip, and instead of adapting, They are
- 31:48Speaker 1: resorting to ridicule and fear-mongering. The public, however, isn't buying
- 31:53Speaker 1: it like we used to. The political and cultural realignment
- 31:56Speaker 1: is happening in real time, whether the establishment likes it
- 32:00Speaker 1: or not. And that's all I have for you guys today. Tomorrow,
- 32:02Speaker 1: Michael has an idea where we should maybe take some
- 32:04Speaker 1: questions at the end of the show. So we'll do
- 32:06Speaker 1: that tomorrow. You guys, at the end of the show,
- 32:08Speaker 1: just drop a comment with your questions or maybe some
- 32:11Speaker 1: comments you have. We'll read some of them out loud.
- 32:13Speaker 1: We'll do that tomorrow. Thank you guys so much for
- 32:15Speaker 1: tuning in. As usual, and yes, happy President's Day. I'll
- 32:19Speaker 1: see you all later.
- 32:21Speaker 4: The Dan Bongino Show.
- 32:22Speaker 3: I think a lot of people are underestimating the Trump
- 32:25Speaker 3: effect in this midterm. You've heard it yourself. Act like
- 32:28Speaker 3: I'm on the ballot. Why is he saying that? You
- 32:31Speaker 3: think he doesn't know what he's doing? That is the
- 32:34Speaker 3: X factor. Folks, elections are a math issue.
- 32:38Speaker 5: That is it.
- 32:38Speaker 3: This is not a football game. If you vote, we
- 32:42Speaker 3: will win. It is not complicated.
- 32:45Speaker 4: The Dan Bongino Show.
