- 0:00Speaker 1: Coach, the energy out there felt different. What changed for
- 0:03Speaker 1: the team today?
- 0:03Speaker 2: It was the new game day scratches from the California
- 0:06Speaker 2: Lottery players.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Everything. Those games sent the team's energy through the roof.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Are you saying it was the off field play that
- 0:11Speaker 1: made the difference on the field.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Hey, little play makes your day, and today it made
- 0:15Speaker 3: the game. That's all for now, coach, one more question.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Play the new Los Angeles Chargers, San Francisco forty nine
- 0:21Speaker 1: ers and Los Angeles Ram scratchers from the California Lottery.
- 0:25Speaker 1: A little play can make your day. Peace made Responsibility
- 0:28Speaker 1: must be eighteen years or older to purchase late or claim.
- 0:30Speaker 4: The one tip I used that you used to not
- 0:33Speaker 4: panic about the market over the last two weeks.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to share this with you guys. At
- 0:38Speaker 2: the end of every Friday, get you a notebook old
- 0:40Speaker 2: school or you can do it in Google docs. But
- 0:43Speaker 2: literally right if the market ended up for the week
- 0:46Speaker 2: or ended down. So when everyone was panicking last week,
- 0:49Speaker 2: and it's the thing that I love about memories and
- 0:50Speaker 2: going through my notebook, the same headlines and feels that
- 0:54Speaker 2: people had about last week was the same headline from.
- 0:58Speaker 3: The year prior. They're stoking all of this energy.
- 1:01Speaker 2: And when you understand what the cycles are in the
- 1:03Speaker 2: market and when the funds are actually buying, the funds.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Really buy really heavy in March, really.
- 1:10Speaker 2: And we talked about that before, I think on episode
- 1:13Speaker 2: twenty three of Market Mondays, right, But every February there
- 1:18Speaker 2: is a lull when the market slows down and we
- 1:20Speaker 2: have these deep dips and then man, I told you
- 1:23Speaker 2: we was gonna fall.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Tuesday and Wednesdays.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Those zero ideal times to buy, and then we ended
- 1:28Speaker 2: up the week strong because Monday and Friday's are the
- 1:30Speaker 2: heaviest bying days. Also, if you buy the end of
- 1:32Speaker 2: the day, you'll be able to get higher alpha on
- 1:35Speaker 2: your portfolio then if you buy at the beginning of
- 1:37Speaker 2: the day. So literally the tip is I want you
- 1:39Speaker 2: to every Friday, right if the week ended up positive
- 1:43Speaker 2: for the week or negative, and when you flip back
- 1:47Speaker 2: year by year, you'll be able to see, Okay, March
- 1:49Speaker 2: it typically does this, February does this, and you can
- 1:51Speaker 2: know week by week what to expect out of the
- 1:53Speaker 2: market for the overall s and P five hundred.
- 1:55Speaker 3: In that way, you won't have to panic.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the fact I actually did that.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Oh no, I was going to say.
- 2:05Speaker 5: I actually did that because we saw that there was
- 2:08Speaker 5: earnings last week and those one of those things. Man,
- 2:10Speaker 5: when when you see the market trending in it downward
- 2:13Speaker 5: on the out side, it's like, wait, there's so many
- 2:15Speaker 5: opportunities that you got to be disciplined to say, all right, yeah,
- 2:18Speaker 5: I know this is a good opportunity. But I was
- 2:20Speaker 5: focused over here, and so like what I was just
- 2:22Speaker 5: doing last week was just trying to block out that
- 2:25Speaker 5: noise of saying like, there's so many opportunities, but which
- 2:28Speaker 5: ones were I focused in on?
- 2:29Speaker 3: What did I write down in.
- 2:30Speaker 5: December and said like, yo, this is going to be
- 2:32Speaker 5: my targets for twenty twenty two, and so Google was
- 2:35Speaker 5: one of those targets, and I was just like, you
- 2:37Speaker 5: know what this is. This is going to be a
- 2:38Speaker 5: great time. I seen a great pullback. I knew that
- 2:41Speaker 5: they were going to be reporting earnings. I went to
- 2:43Speaker 5: estimize dot com just to see what the projections at
- 2:45Speaker 5: Wall Street was saying for their earnings, and at three thirty,
- 2:50Speaker 5: I believe, Wednesday, I was like, all right, I'm going
- 2:52Speaker 5: to invest right now.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Boom did it.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Obviously we saw what happened they destroyed their earnings and
- 2:59Speaker 5: the stock went up. But they also announced the twenty
- 3:01Speaker 5: one split at the same time.
- 3:04Speaker 3: So I'm gonna get there.
- 3:06Speaker 4: I'm getting the Amazon announced to split, not Google, No Google,
- 3:09Speaker 4: no Google else to split.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Now Amazon didn't.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Yeah Google twenty one people always and so I know
- 3:16Speaker 5: there's a lot of new people here. So just going
- 3:17Speaker 5: over what a split is, right, I always tell people
- 3:19Speaker 5: like this, right, if you if I gave you five singles,
- 3:22Speaker 5: or if I gave you a five dollars bill, do
- 3:23Speaker 5: you have the same amount of money? And most people
- 3:26Speaker 5: will say yes, And I'm like, well, technically that's what
- 3:28Speaker 5: a split is, right. There was one that was five,
- 3:30Speaker 5: and now you have five singles. And so if you
- 3:32Speaker 5: had one share of Google after July or after August,
- 3:36Speaker 5: that one share is now turning into twenty. But what
- 3:38Speaker 5: happens is that the stock price gets cut down by
- 3:40Speaker 5: a twentieth, right, So you divide whatever it is by
- 3:42Speaker 5: twenty I think it. I think it's over three thousand,
- 3:45Speaker 5: so it bringing down to like maybe rather twenty, it's
- 3:47Speaker 5: twenty seven hundred, almost twenty eight hundred. Yeah, so he
- 3:49Speaker 5: shared probably be in that one twenty to one thirty
- 3:52Speaker 5: five rings. It's still at that price, right, as opposed
- 3:55Speaker 5: to when I'm looking at it as a retail investor.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Now I'm like, listen, it's twenty seven hundred, twenty hundred.
- 4:00Speaker 5: That's not affordable for me. Right now, I'll have to
- 4:02Speaker 5: buy a fractional shit. Now you don't have to right
- 4:04Speaker 5: in July or August or whatever this split goes through.
- 4:06Speaker 5: Now you can buy a share at one hundred and
- 4:08Speaker 5: twenty seven dollars. So it becomes even more of an
- 4:10Speaker 5: accentage to say, all right, this is Google, right, we
- 4:13Speaker 5: know what they're doing with YouTube, right the number then
- 4:17Speaker 5: this is like breaking news alert number two in advertising
- 4:20Speaker 5: in twenty twenty one.
- 4:21Speaker 3: You know what number one was?
- 4:22Speaker 5: Who passed them?
- 4:24Speaker 3: Amazon?
- 4:25Speaker 5: Amazon did thirty one billion in the advertising business YouTube
- 4:29Speaker 5: Google did about twenty nine. So that was like crazy
- 4:31Speaker 5: stat that I saw. But now it's an incentive to
- 4:34Speaker 5: buy it. Your people are gonna load in and buy shares,
- 4:36Speaker 5: and because it makes sense, right, we know the strength
- 4:38Speaker 5: of this company, we know the long term vision of it.
- 4:39Speaker 3: We spoke about YouTube plenty of times. So yeah, let's
- 4:43Speaker 3: talk about gotting to that Amazon.
- 4:44Speaker 4: I said Amazon because Amazon was on my mind. I
- 4:46Speaker 4: want to talk about Amazon, but Google. Let's not just
- 4:49Speaker 4: breeze over this because this is the first time that
- 4:50Speaker 4: we've actually got to speak about this DOX split. I
- 4:52Speaker 4: think it was announced last Wednesday.
- 4:55Speaker 5: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.

- 7:15Speaker 3: Dealer ad right after right after they closing.
- 7:18Speaker 4: So all right, this stock split situation is interesting for
- 7:24Speaker 4: a few different reasons. Google a lot of people. You know,
- 7:30Speaker 4: once the stock gets to a certain point, it becomes
- 7:34Speaker 4: unattractive for retail investors. Psychologically, people look at something like, damn,
- 7:38Speaker 4: I gotta pay two thousand dollars.
- 7:40Speaker 2: For just one What they about a Chanel back or
- 7:42Speaker 2: Gucci shout if I see you as a network party
- 7:45Speaker 2: with Gucci and Louis on, don't want to hear it.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Or shot it's about to make a good point back
- 7:49Speaker 3: to you, my brother.
- 7:53Speaker 4: So yeah, they are, so, you know, by law, it's
- 7:57Speaker 4: now one hundred dollars. Apple has put a lot of
- 7:59Speaker 4: different so Google. So this is why I was bringing
- 8:04Speaker 4: up the Amazon thing. So now Amazon is the last
- 8:06Speaker 4: big tech company that has not split, that has a
- 8:12Speaker 4: stock price, you know, up there three thousand over three
- 8:17Speaker 4: thousand dollars. So now there's no concrete evidence of this,
- 8:21Speaker 4: but there's speculation that Amazon may split, which that kind
- 8:27Speaker 4: of drove Amazon stock price up as well. Amazon was
- 8:30Speaker 4: your company of the year. Yes, still so Google, How
- 8:35Speaker 4: do you think Google's stock split will affect If it
- 8:39Speaker 4: will have any effect at all on Amazon stock price?
- 8:42Speaker 5: I think if we look at just the past issue,
- 8:44Speaker 5: the past two years of the companies that have split,
- 8:46Speaker 5: we can just get a fair indication. Right, a lot
- 8:48Speaker 5: of retail vestors that entered the market since March twenty twenty.
- 8:51Speaker 5: We saw it happen with Apple. Price ran up right
- 8:55Speaker 5: as soon as it's split. We saw a pulled back
- 8:57Speaker 5: Tesla Tesla, they both did it at the same time, right,
- 9:00Speaker 5: and then we also saw it with in Video.
- 9:02Speaker 3: So stock will rise, This is going to the moon.
- 9:07Speaker 3: It's gonna be what you'all thought.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Those you are so this is true, which is why,
- 9:11Speaker 5: like when I made the investment, I'm like, oh, this
- 9:13Speaker 5: is perfect time. And then when I heard the split,
- 9:15Speaker 5: I'm like, yo, this, I mean, I couldn't had better
- 9:17Speaker 5: time than this, Right, there's no way to time it,
- 9:19Speaker 5: but you know, just focusing in and knowing that. Look
- 9:22Speaker 5: in twenty twenty one, this was the leader and all
- 9:25Speaker 5: the fang stocks like they had an incredible year in growth.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Right, Amazon and Google?
- 9:30Speaker 3: Google did? Amazon and Google? Google? Yeah, Amazon had the works.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Why you keep I get confused with the two.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Man, I'm not man, My portfolio is not there.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean with Amazon the split, I think Google
- 9:43Speaker 2: is gonna put a little bit of pressure on because,
- 9:46Speaker 2: like you said, this, Amazon the last of a dying
- 9:48Speaker 2: breech to have a press to high. Amazon has been
- 9:51Speaker 2: in the retirement pitch of stock club forever.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 2: When everyone's like yo, I don't know, I'm like, hold
- 9:56Speaker 2: on because now when they split, you're gonna have even
- 9:58Speaker 2: more shares.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Some of you go to actually I by before after answers.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Always both it's the top five company great and from
- 10:06Speaker 2: a distribution standpoint, stickiness standpoint, like Amazon's one of the
- 10:11Speaker 2: greatest companies ever. Google probably has the best ad business ever,
- 10:17Speaker 2: the two behemoths. And when we did the Safest Stocks
- 10:20Speaker 2: maybe five or six months ago, Google was already in there.
- 10:25Speaker 3: So you'll be good.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Hold these two four or five years, you guys would
- 10:29Speaker 2: be good.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Think about last week what like literally Google reported Tuesday
- 10:34Speaker 5: market went up. Facebook reported Wednesday market teak. Thursday, Amazon
- 10:39Speaker 5: reported blew out then their earnings like I said that
- 10:41Speaker 5: the growth in the revenue obviously AWS grew. They made
- 10:45Speaker 5: eleven billion off the Ribean investment on the like quiet.
- 10:49Speaker 2: AWS is probably homework for you guys. What is the
- 10:53Speaker 2: value of AWS? And what is the market cap of Facebook?
- 10:56Speaker 3: Right now?
- 10:59Speaker 2: You surprised if you have to pick AWS if it
- 11:01Speaker 2: was publicly traded, would you pick that or Facebook? This
- 11:04Speaker 2: is the real versus, right, Apple or Facebook, Google or
- 11:08Speaker 2: Facebook AMD or Facebook, Amazon or Facebook.
- 11:11Speaker 3: But it's supposed to be top five dead or alive?
- 11:13Speaker 3: Is just dead? Yeah? Yeah, So I know.
- 11:20Speaker 6: My graduates from my school being forced back drop drop
- 11:26Speaker 6: Mike drop backdrop.
- 11:39Speaker 7: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 11:42Speaker 7: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 11:46Speaker 7: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 11:51Speaker 7: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 11:55Speaker 7: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 11:58Speaker 7: Donald J. Trump's leader. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 12:02Speaker 7: Secretary of Homeland Security under President Trump. Attempted illegal border
- 12:07Speaker 7: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 12:10Speaker 7: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 12:14Speaker 7: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 12:18Speaker 7: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 12:22Speaker 7: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 12:25Speaker 7: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 12:29Speaker 7: Do what's right, leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 12:34Speaker 7: border and families will be protected.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
