Teen Stabs Father Then Flees to Nebraska | Milwaukee News
An 18-year-old from Racine, Wisconsin, Joseph Niemiec, is facing attempted first-degree murder charges after stabbing his own father in the neck during a violent home confrontation. The attack occurred just before 1 AM on August 12th when Joseph, initially let inside after his father mistook his voice for an intruder, turned violent after asking for a hug—pulling out a knife instead. The father fought back, disarmed him, and fled to a neighbor’s for help while Joseph escaped. Nebraska troopers caught him shortly after on Interstate 80 and arrested him under a Wisconsin warrant.
