Bloomington-based Hoosier Energy is partnering with a Canadian company to explore a potential major nuclear project in Indiana. The Hancock Economic Development Council has named its next executive director. Amazon plans to hire 8,000 seasonal workers in Indiana. BP and the United Steelworkers Local 7-1 are now at odds over unemployment benefits for some 800 locked out workers at the BP Whiting Refinery. Plus, the University of Notre Dame is assisting with a childhood literacy program in Nebraska.
