- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Almost Famous Podcast with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Welcome back to Kind of Famous. I'm Deanna Pappas, and
- 0:08Speaker 2: I am here with producer Heather, and we are ready
- 0:11Speaker 2: to recap Let's Marry Harry season one reunion. Lots of
- 0:15Speaker 2: jaw-dropping moments in this episode. I am like bursting at
- 0:19Speaker 2: the seams over here.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I don't know, Heather.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Overall, what did you think? Do you still want to
- 0:24Speaker 2: marry Harry?
- 0:26Speaker 3: I don't know if I still want to marry Harry,
- 0:29Speaker 3: but I'm going to go out on a bold statement
- 0:32Speaker 3: and say this was maybe the worst reunion I've ever
- 0:36Speaker 3: seen of any television show of all time.
- 0:40Speaker 2: There were so many things. I was a little shocked.
- 0:44Speaker 2: at how they just let all the women go ham.
- 0:47Speaker 2: And again, all I have to compare this on is
- 0:49Speaker 2: like The Bachelor and The Bachelorette reunions. And we are
- 0:51Speaker 2: put on our best behavior when they set us all
- 0:53Speaker 2: up there like little dolls. We're put on our best behavior.
- 0:57Speaker 2: It's like we're better seen and not heard. And these
- 0:59Speaker 2: women were not that. So I was definitely from the
- 1:03Speaker 2: jump of this episode, like my mouth was hanging open
- 1:07Speaker 2: at what these girls could say, their reactions, and how
- 1:11Speaker 2: much they let these women deep dive.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I wasn't surprised by the anger, aggression, wanting to
- 1:21Speaker 3: get the feelings out. My issue more so of why
- 1:26Speaker 3: I did not like this comes from the overall structure
- 1:30Speaker 3: of the program. So I've watched a million and a
- 1:33Speaker 3: half reunions in my lifetime, going all the way back
- 1:36Speaker 3: to MTV used to do the first reunions for like
- 1:40Speaker 3: real world and road rules back in the day. obviously
- 1:44Speaker 3: Housewives has taken the reunion to a whole nother level.
- 1:47Speaker 3: They do theirs in like a three-parter sometimes for Housewives.
- 1:51Speaker 3: So I've watched a lot of reunions, obviously Bachelor, you know,
- 1:56Speaker 3: after the final rose and Women Tell All as well.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And my issue is, is that.
- 2:03Speaker 3: You've had so many great ones done, like we just
- 2:07Speaker 3: listed off. This is actually not a time to try
- 2:10Speaker 3: and reinvent the wheel. This is the time to actually
- 2:13Speaker 3: follow something that another television show has done and execute
- 2:18Speaker 3: it accurately. So we'll get into it, but I just
- 2:22Speaker 3: want to let everybody know we are talking deep spoilers.
- 2:27Speaker 3: If this is a problem, like click off now. But
- 2:31Speaker 3: first 40 minutes I texted you, Harry is not.
- 2:34Speaker 1: In the reunion.
- 2:35Speaker 3: 40 minutes of just the women talking about Harry.
- 2:41Speaker 1: There was no live audience. I know because we asked
- 2:45Speaker 1: if we could be in the audience for this.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I was like on a work trip texting Heather, like,
- 2:49Speaker 2: please fulfill all my.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Dreams right now. I need to go. I wanted to
- 2:53Speaker 1: go too.
- 2:54Speaker 3: And they were like, yeah, there's not going to be
- 2:56Speaker 3: an audience for this. And I was like, okay. And so,
- 3:00Speaker 3: which I do think changes the vibes, you know, when
- 3:03Speaker 3: people are entering the stage to silence. So that, I
- 3:09Speaker 3: don't know how I really felt about that. Housewives reunions
- 3:12Speaker 3: have no audience. Everybody's already out on the stage. It
- 3:17Speaker 3: doesn't really bump me then. For some reason, I felt
- 3:21Speaker 3: like maybe a little bit of energy was missing. Overall,
- 3:24Speaker 3: what did you think of Haley Bailey being the.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Host of this?
- 3:27Speaker 2: I actually really liked her. I have only seen her
- 3:31Speaker 2: on social media. I've seen her work a couple of
- 3:32Speaker 2: red carpets. I actually thought that she did a really
- 3:36Speaker 2: good job and she's just, she's gorgeous. You know, everybody
- 3:40Speaker 2: looked really gorgeous. Every one of the women looked really gorgeous.
- 3:44Speaker 2: You know what I think about, and because I'm a selfish, self-centered,
- 3:49Speaker 2: washed up reality star, I think I would never fit
- 3:52Speaker 2: in reality TV these days. I'm looking at all these women,
- 3:56Speaker 2: and they are looking so gorgeous.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Their hair, their nails, their jewelry. And I am not.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. I
- 4:04Speaker 2: am the most plain that I could possibly be. And
- 4:07Speaker 2: I just thought, everybody looks great.
- 4:10Speaker 1: On point.
- 4:11Speaker 2: And I remember thinking that, like, I want to look
- 4:13Speaker 2: so fine for the guy who just dumped me on
- 4:15Speaker 2: national television, but they all just look gorgeous, everybody.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And I thought Haley Bailey did a great job.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I think she's the right amount of serious and funny.
- 4:27Speaker 2: And I thought this is a big, big job for
- 4:29Speaker 2: her to take on. And I thought she did a
- 4:31Speaker 2: good job. I don't know.
- 4:31Speaker 1: What do you think? It was.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I had no issues with her. I would say that
- 4:39Speaker 3: I didn't see any humorous side in her. I saw
- 4:42Speaker 3: all pretty even-keeled seriousness. My only thought when I was
- 4:48Speaker 3: watching it was, this would actually be the role that
- 4:52Speaker 3: I would be okay with Alex Cooper taking. Of all
- 4:56Speaker 3: the things, I was like, this is actually where you
- 5:00Speaker 3: should step in. And I understand, right? She's friends with him,
- 5:05Speaker 3: but I think so is Haley Bailey.
- 5:07Speaker 2: She said that in the opening scene that she and
- 5:09Speaker 2: Harry know each other and that they're friends.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 5:12Speaker 3: So to me, I was like, as gorgeous as she
- 5:15Speaker 3: is and as well as I think she handled herself,
- 5:18Speaker 3: to me, I was like, This is actually the part
- 5:21Speaker 3: where I would totally be fine with Alex Cooper coming in,
- 5:24Speaker 3: doing her thing, having behind-the-scenes knowledge of how this show
- 5:31Speaker 3: came about, her connection to Harry, being able to speak.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I also think that, again, with these mentors.
- 5:41Speaker 1: They gave us so much of them in this season.
- 5:44Speaker 3: And then for some reason, the final episode– And this reunion,
- 5:49Speaker 3: I mean, they were in there for a sprinkle, like
- 5:53Speaker 3: if that.
- 5:54Speaker 1: It was so quick where I was like.
- 5:56Speaker 3: These mentors could have been more involved in this conversation.
- 6:00Speaker 3: It started to feel really repetitive to me when I
- 6:05Speaker 3: was watching. And I kept being like, I kept checking
- 6:08Speaker 3: and being like, how much longer? Like I kept like
- 6:12Speaker 3: looking at the time.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Okay, so I agree, Heather.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I kept looking at my screen and I honestly, I
- 6:17Speaker 2: wanted to fast forward. There was so much meat in
- 6:21Speaker 2: the sandwich that I just didn't need. And as someone
- 6:25Speaker 2: who is following the show for our podcast, I watched it,
- 6:29Speaker 2: but there were many, countless, to be honest, that I
- 6:34Speaker 2: wanted to fast forward and I wanted to get to
- 6:36Speaker 2: the parts that I really wanted to see, which were
- 6:38Speaker 2: Danelle and Amber.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Some of the other stuff I wanted to hear about,
- 6:42Speaker 1: you know what I mean? But I didn't need.
- 6:44Speaker 2: That much of it. Also, side note, did you know
- 6:47Speaker 2: that Georgia has a podcast?
- 6:49Speaker 1: Oh, yes. The ex-girlfriend. Georgia, one of the mentors. No.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Yeah, so I was scrolling last night as you and
- 6:55Speaker 2: I were texting about the show. And of course, all
- 6:57Speaker 2: in my feed is Let's Marry Harry stuff, you know?
- 7:00Speaker 2: And there is a clip of Georgia from her podcast
- 7:02Speaker 2: talking about the filming. And she still doesn't... give a
- 7:09Speaker 2: whole ample amount of information about the show, but she
- 7:12Speaker 2: did talk a little bit more about her friendship and
- 7:15Speaker 2: her relationship with Harry and why she was a good choice.
- 7:19Speaker 2: But she also said that she wished the show had
- 7:21Speaker 2: shown more of that, that the mentors had this role
- 7:25Speaker 2: in the show to help guide him, but that it wasn't,
- 7:29Speaker 2: not a lot of it was shown and she actually
- 7:31Speaker 2: thought it was a really good piece for the show
- 7:35Speaker 2: because she's friends with Harry and she knows him and
- 7:37Speaker 2: she dated him and she got to know these women
- 7:39Speaker 2: more than it was shown on the television show. I
- 7:41Speaker 2: don't know. I just thought the bit was, I wish
- 7:44Speaker 2: I knew more about that. When we got the reunion,
- 7:46Speaker 2: I wish it wasn't so much about the drama and
- 7:49Speaker 2: the clear, clear consensus that the women are not happy
- 7:56Speaker 2: with Harry.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I've never seen a reunion where the lead gets dumped
- 8:02Speaker 3: on so.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Much.
- 8:05Speaker 3: We'll get into some of the things that happened, but
- 8:08Speaker 3: I was just, overall, I was surprised by things that
- 8:13Speaker 3: were spoken about, things.
- 8:14Speaker 1: That weren't spoken about. And I was, this is what
- 8:18Speaker 1: I was going to say. I was surprised there wasn't
- 8:21Speaker 1: more levity.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Harry is very funny and light, I think, most of
- 8:27Speaker 3: his life. And I think that this situation with him
- 8:30Speaker 3: and all these girls, there's no way that it was
- 8:34Speaker 3: tense and awkward and dramatic the entire time. There had
- 8:37Speaker 3: to have been more moments of levity. And something that
- 8:41Speaker 3: people love about After the Final Rose is the blooper reel,
- 8:47Speaker 3: you know?
- 8:48Speaker 1: And those kinds of moments.
- 8:50Speaker 3: And so I wish they leaned into a little bit
- 8:53Speaker 3: more of the funny, even funny stuff that happens with
- 8:56Speaker 3: these girls in their interview chairs, you know, or something
- 9:02Speaker 3: funny that happens on a date. So we didn't get
- 9:05Speaker 3: to see a lot of that. We just got to
- 9:07Speaker 3: see like the unseen footage too. I was like, this
- 9:11Speaker 3: actually could have stayed unseen. Like it was not necessarily.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Great, but yeah.
- 9:17Speaker 3: So we start out, everybody's on this giant soundstage.
- 9:21Speaker 1: All I noticed too was that everybody was so spread out.
- 9:24Speaker 3: They were trying to make it look really, really full,
- 9:28Speaker 3: I think, because of, again, no audience. So if you're
- 9:31Speaker 3: shooting on a giant soundstage by yourself and there's no
- 9:35Speaker 3: seating for audience and you're not showing the people and
- 9:38Speaker 3: the crew behind the camera, you got to really spread
- 9:40Speaker 3: out that furniture, spread out those girls so that it
- 9:43Speaker 3: makes it look full.
- 9:44Speaker 1: But it made... When they did the wide shots, it
- 9:47Speaker 1: made some of.
- 9:47Speaker 3: These girls look like they were a gazillion miles away
- 9:50Speaker 3: from the host, which was, I don't know, wasn't.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Pleasing to the eye as a viewer.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:56Speaker 1: But for the tight shots, it looked fine.
- 9:59Speaker 3: So Haley asks all the girls why they wanted to
- 10:05Speaker 3: marry Harry and if they thought he was marriage material.
- 10:08Speaker 3: And Emma starts out by being abso-fucking-lutely not. And it's like, Okay,
- 10:16Speaker 3: here we go. Everybody knows that it was Harry. Everybody
- 10:20Speaker 3: signed up for this on their own. It wasn't a gotcha.
- 10:25Speaker 3: And some girls have put out differing information out there
- 10:29Speaker 3: on the internet. We know that Harry posted about the
- 10:32Speaker 3: casting for the show. So they might not have known
- 10:36Speaker 3: it was Harry when they first got approached about the show.
- 10:40Speaker 1: But eventually before they became... Got on. They all knew.
- 10:44Speaker 1: A hundred percent.
- 10:46Speaker 3: And they might not have known about Harry or who
- 10:50Speaker 3: he was, but that is like up to them.
- 10:52Speaker 1: And I have worked on these shows.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I have worked on shows where I was not allowed
- 10:56Speaker 3: to tell the people who the host was, what the
- 10:59Speaker 3: network was.
- 11:00Speaker 1: And then the host just showed up at their business.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Like they actually had no idea who was doing the
- 11:08Speaker 3: show up until that moment.
- 11:10Speaker 1: That's wild. Yeah. Those are very difficult to do.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I do like that this happened, Heather, because you and
- 11:15Speaker 2: I have discussed this this entire season. You knew who
- 11:18Speaker 2: Harry was. Yeah, I didn't know a lot about Harry
- 11:21Speaker 2: Jousey or who he was. But we've discussed this really
- 11:25Speaker 2: all season about this portrayal of Harry. We have joked
- 11:30Speaker 2: about him still being a fuckboy. And And then we've
- 11:34Speaker 2: talked about the social media buzz about people talking about
- 11:37Speaker 2: they didn't know what they were signing up for and
- 11:40Speaker 2: how Harry put out.
- 11:40Speaker 1: That video that, yeah, you did. This is not, this
- 11:43Speaker 1: is no surprise.
- 11:44Speaker 3: The ones also that said they didn't know that they
- 11:46Speaker 3: were getting married. And he was like, you, you designed
- 11:50Speaker 3: your engagement rings. Like, what are you talking about? So yeah,
- 11:53Speaker 3: there's been a lot of like discourse all the way
- 11:57Speaker 3: down to some of this nitty gritty stuff. And it's like,
- 12:00Speaker 3: at the end of the day, you all knew that
- 12:02Speaker 3: you were coming on a reality show. You all knew
- 12:04Speaker 3: you were coming on a dating reality show that could end.
- 12:07Speaker 1: In marriage for one of you.
- 12:10Speaker 3: And at some point, you either found out and were
- 12:13Speaker 3: told directly that it was Harry Jousey or it was
- 12:16Speaker 3: made public knowledge and maybe people that you were talking
- 12:18Speaker 3: to on the team assumed that you knew.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I've never been like that on a team.
- 12:22Speaker 3: If it's like public knowledge, I make sure to call
- 12:24Speaker 3: my people and tell them like, hey, just in case.
- 12:28Speaker 3: But I know that people claimed the same About Taylor
- 12:31Speaker 3: Frankie Paul being the Bachelorette, saying that some of those
- 12:37Speaker 3: guys that were on her season were in the mix
- 12:40Speaker 3: before she was announced.
- 12:42Speaker 2: But I know personally, that's how the show does it.
- 12:45Speaker 2: That's how every show does it. Oh, I didn't know
- 12:47Speaker 2: that about every show. I mean, that's your specialty right there.
- 12:50Speaker 3: I mean, just in the sense of like, if the
- 12:52Speaker 3: lead hasn't been announced publicly... then it's not being told
- 12:57Speaker 3: to the people that are auditioning for said show because
- 13:01Speaker 3: nobody's letting that leak out early. But once it's made
- 13:04Speaker 3: public knowledge, then that means the talent is made public.
- 13:08Speaker 3: You know, the people that are in the running, sometimes
- 13:10Speaker 3: they'll have you sign like an NDA in advance. But again,
- 13:13Speaker 3: you have to already basically be on the show to
- 13:16Speaker 3: get that kind of information. They're not going to tell
- 13:19Speaker 3: you like, The first time you sit down with a
- 13:21Speaker 3: casting person, like it's going to be when you're way
- 13:25Speaker 3: deep into the process.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I don't know who.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Dubbed Emma like the leader of this circus for the
- 13:33Speaker 2: reunion last night, but I actually thought she did a
- 13:35Speaker 2: really good job.
- 13:36Speaker 3: It's funny how some girls start to really want to
- 13:40Speaker 3: use their voice at these reunions.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Well, I've been seeing her a lot on social media too.
- 13:44Speaker 2: When I am scrolling, it is a lot of her stuff.
- 13:46Speaker 2: And I just, you know, you know, I have issues.
- 13:49Speaker 2: And for everyone listening, you know, I have issues. I
- 13:51Speaker 2: did myself a service and I did not follow any
- 13:55Speaker 2: of these women.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Oh, I was going to say, did you download TikTok finally?
- 13:58Speaker 3: Nope.
- 13:59Speaker 2: No TikTok for this mama. Like, are you telling, I
- 14:01Speaker 2: barely showed up for this podcast this morning. You want
- 14:03Speaker 2: me to spend time scrolling TikTok too?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Come on, Heather.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Anytime I text Deanna a TikTok, she goes, Heather, I
- 14:09Speaker 3: don't have TikTok.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I literally click it and then it tries to open
- 14:12Speaker 2: in Safari and it won't. And I'm like, Heather, you
- 14:14Speaker 2: just tell me what they say. I just, I cannot
- 14:16Speaker 2: have one more thing to take up any of my
- 14:19Speaker 2: free time.
- 14:19Speaker 1: It's valuable.
- 14:20Speaker 2: But I will say I did follow Harry Jousey because
- 14:23Speaker 2: he's the star of the show. And truly this is
- 14:26Speaker 2: about him. We all signed up to watch Harry Jousey.
- 14:28Speaker 2: These women signed up to come on and see Harry Jousey.
- 14:30Speaker 2: But what I appreciated from Emma was that I think
- 14:35Speaker 2: that she described our boy exactly what he is.
- 14:39Speaker 1: She described him as that token fuck boy.
- 14:41Speaker 2: But she sees it in him. He cares deeply and
- 14:44Speaker 2: that eventually... He will probably be ready for this. But
- 14:48Speaker 2: in this, was he?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Absolutely not. I think that we said similar things, right?
- 14:54Speaker 3: Like, you know, sometimes it takes a moment in a
- 14:59Speaker 3: playboy's life to be the thing that actually gets him
- 15:02Speaker 3: to settle down. And I've heard differing kind of things
- 15:07Speaker 3: on the internet about this. I've heard that Netflix actually
- 15:11Speaker 3: came to him with the idea of the show that
- 15:14Speaker 3: it wasn't the other way around, right? So it's the
- 15:17Speaker 3: same thing. You can say the same stuff with The Bachelor, right?
- 15:21Speaker 3: How many bachelors have we had in the history of
- 15:24Speaker 3: the show who weren't ready to actually get married and
- 15:27Speaker 3: get down on one knee?
- 15:29Speaker 2: A thousand percent. That's why I believe the women have
- 15:32Speaker 2: a better success.
- 15:34Speaker 1: They're not ready.
- 15:35Speaker 3: And people tend to not be ready to do something
- 15:38Speaker 3: when they don't know the person that they could possibly be.
- 15:42Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 15:43Speaker 3: We're also on these shows featuring people of a certain
- 15:47Speaker 3: age who have not maybe lived a lot of life in.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Comparison to other people.
- 15:53Speaker 3: So I just think it's like, I just think Harry's
- 15:56Speaker 3: getting a lot of grief.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I do too. Let's calm down people. For the first
- 16:02Speaker 1: time ever, I was like, give her a boy a break.
- 16:04Speaker 2: And I have not slacked on Harry this entire season.
- 16:10Speaker 1: But in this reunion, I literally was like, oh, let's
- 16:12Speaker 1: give her a boy a break.
- 16:13Speaker 3: And to anybody listening, we are not discounting anybody's feelings,
- 16:20Speaker 3: experience with Harry or Upset feelings.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Absolutely not. And we will dive into all of that.
- 16:28Speaker 3: But I think that there's other ways of handling this.
- 16:32Speaker 3: And this is why I say I'm a little frustrated
- 16:35Speaker 3: with the production element, less about the actual content and
- 16:40Speaker 3: what people said, because I think that the leash was
- 16:44Speaker 3: given really long and not saying that they didn't deserve
- 16:50Speaker 3: to say their piece, but it Doing that made it
- 16:55Speaker 3: so that other people didn't get to speak. And I
- 16:57Speaker 3: think that I'm left after watching this being like, oh,
- 17:01Speaker 3: I would have loved to hear so-and-so clear the air.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I would have loved this.
- 17:05Speaker 3: But I think one of the biggest bombshells, the first
- 17:08Speaker 3: bombshell of the night of watching this was Juliana deciding
- 17:13Speaker 3: to not show up at the reunion.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Okay, so that was a quick thing for me, Heather.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I had to rewind that. I had to rewind and
- 17:21Speaker 2: catch that she was not showing up, that she was invited,
- 17:24Speaker 2: but she declined.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:26Speaker 1: And I think that, Juliana, if you're listening, I think
- 17:31Speaker 1: that's a mistake.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 3: I think that by not showing up, you're actually validating
- 17:40Speaker 3: the feelings and the thoughts and not being a part
- 17:44Speaker 3: of the narrative that is then going to be talked
- 17:46Speaker 3: about with you not being present.
- 17:49Speaker 1: So the girls then proceed to call you performative.
- 17:54Speaker 3: You know, Ellie then tells this whole elaborate story about
- 17:59Speaker 3: you having, Juliana having some sort of freak out one night,
- 18:05Speaker 3: slamming doors. Ellie claims that she at one point like
- 18:10Speaker 3: did not feel safe. in this situation and was surprised
- 18:13Speaker 3: that production kept her around after that.
- 18:17Speaker 1: So, Juliana, I'm.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Sure you're going to go to your social media and
- 18:23Speaker 3: say your piece because that seems to be what you've
- 18:26Speaker 3: kind of done and we'll get into that as well.
- 18:29Speaker 3: But I really just think that anytime somebody gets a
- 18:33Speaker 3: villain edit on any show, I think that the worst
- 18:38Speaker 3: thing you can do for yourself is is deny opportunities
- 18:42Speaker 3: for you to be on camera post-show because you're not
- 18:47Speaker 3: letting people get to know you. You're not allowing for,
- 18:52Speaker 3: there's no resolution.
- 18:53Speaker 1: There's no ownership either. There's no ownership.
- 18:56Speaker 2: The other women got to have a voice to speak
- 18:59Speaker 2: on their experience, but there's no ownership on her part,
- 19:04Speaker 2: Juliana's part at all, because she decided not to come.
- 19:07Speaker 2: And they talked about things that happened and things that
- 19:10Speaker 2: we saw as viewers.
- 19:11Speaker 1: And things that we didn't see. And she could have
- 19:14Speaker 1: had the opportunity.
- 19:15Speaker 2: And I honestly, I hope that she just lets it
- 19:18Speaker 2: go and she doesn't address any of it.
- 19:19Speaker 1: She doesn't put anything out on social media because it
- 19:21Speaker 1: feels a little.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I want to say coward, but that word is so harsh,
- 19:26Speaker 2: but it feels a little cowardly to do that, to
- 19:30Speaker 2: not show up, not sit in the reunion, not discuss
- 19:33Speaker 2: what happened, what took place, her actions, but then sit
- 19:37Speaker 2: behind her phone on social media and post a photo
- 19:41Speaker 2: or a video of her talking about it and her
- 19:43Speaker 2: rebuttal while not giving anyone else a chance to address it. Yep.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I would agree with that.
- 19:48Speaker 3: And we know that you'll is living her best life
- 19:52Speaker 3: and has a boyfriend that she is public with. I
- 19:57Speaker 3: just went and glanced at her socials last night when
- 19:59Speaker 3: I was putting this together. And she hadn't posted anything
- 20:04Speaker 3: about the reunion.
- 20:05Speaker 1: But I would assume that something's going to come.
- 20:09Speaker 3: The other bombshell from this little conversation that we learned
- 20:14Speaker 3: is that Harry did not just sleep with Amber on
- 20:18Speaker 3: the show. We know that they tried to trick us
- 20:22Speaker 3: that he hooked up with Danelle, but Harry has already
- 20:27Speaker 3: clarified that all they did was kiss that time they
- 20:29Speaker 3: went into the closet. This happened off camera and was
- 20:35Speaker 3: never spoken about.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Was never hinted about, which I think.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Is also a disservice to the show because this could
- 20:43Speaker 3: have been, you know, really interesting fodder. But Abby and
- 20:50Speaker 3: Harry hooked up in the back of a production van
- 20:55Speaker 3: after their beach date.
- 20:58Speaker 2: This was another moment for me, Heather. My mouth was
- 21:02Speaker 2: like hanging to the floor, okay? And again, having been
- 21:07Speaker 2: on reality TV, there was never a moment for me
- 21:09Speaker 2: where I was left alone with a man, right? Even
- 21:12Speaker 2: when I was the bachelorette. I snuck out one night
- 21:15Speaker 2: and I went and hung out with some guys down.
- 21:17Speaker 2: We just like did G-rated things. We listened to music
- 21:19Speaker 2: and sat by the fire and drank beer. And I
- 21:21Speaker 2: got in so much trouble the next day because they
- 21:23Speaker 2: said our whole point is A, to get everything on camera,
- 21:26Speaker 2: but also to protect you. that if something were to
- 21:30Speaker 2: happen and we weren't there to protect you, what would happen, right?
- 21:33Speaker 1: 100% people.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I have been in those production vans and there is
- 21:37Speaker 2: always someone sitting in the van.
- 21:39Speaker 1: How in the hell did.
- 21:41Speaker 2: They find that amount of time for the driver to
- 21:44Speaker 2: get out and they had sex in the back of
- 21:46Speaker 2: the van? How?
- 21:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Maybe it was a lunch break for the crew at
- 21:53Speaker 3: the same time.
- 21:55Speaker 1: They're eating their sandwich and so is Harry. Come on.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I don't know. I had no.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Trust me. I've been on many a sets. I've been
- 22:04Speaker 3: many a handler. The last thing I'm doing is leaving
- 22:09Speaker 3: somebody I'm watching unattended for that long of time in
- 22:15Speaker 3: order to do that.
- 22:17Speaker 1: But I don't know. I don't know how they roll
- 22:20Speaker 1: on this show.
- 22:21Speaker 2: She goes so far as to somewhat describe it in
- 22:25Speaker 2: the reunion. I mean, not in the greatest of detail.
- 22:27Speaker 2: We don't talk about them taking their clothes off, but
- 22:30Speaker 2: she is talking about her feelings and the mindset that
- 22:33Speaker 2: she was in and that her next step was to
- 22:35Speaker 2: get physical. I guess for me, listen, I'm no virgin.
- 22:40Speaker 2: I have two kids, so you know I've had sex
- 22:42Speaker 2: at least twice, right?
- 22:44Speaker 1: At least. At least twice.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I am not dreaming up My scenario, and again, as
- 22:50Speaker 2: a single divorced woman, I still am a hopeless romantic.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I'm not dreaming up my scenario of a guy that
- 22:57Speaker 2: I really like and I'm thinking about the end result
- 22:59Speaker 2: of marrying him, my first time being in the back
- 23:02Speaker 2: of a production van. And who knows who's watching? That's
- 23:07Speaker 2: not my dream scenario for me, Heather. How did she
- 23:10Speaker 2: actually enjoy that, let alone on the most basic level,
- 23:13Speaker 2: have an orgasm?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Well, she didn't go into the details about that.
- 23:18Speaker 3: And if she did, but we're talking about Abby who, Abby,
- 23:22Speaker 3: I think you're very funny, but we're talking about spit
- 23:25Speaker 3: swapping booger eating Abby.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 23:28Speaker 3: So I feel like some of this kind of like tracks.
- 23:32Speaker 3: And if I'm going to be really crass, I'm going
- 23:35Speaker 3: to be crass people. And what I'm about to say,
- 23:37Speaker 3: Heather's never crass. I think that she gave him a
- 23:40Speaker 3: blow job. I don't think that we're talking P and
- 23:42Speaker 3: the V.
- 23:43Speaker 1: You don't? Uh-uh.
- 23:44Speaker 2: But she kind of, she implied that they had sex
- 23:47Speaker 2: because then they have sex again later. Because she also,
- 23:51Speaker 2: she also explained the timeline that that happened, right? And
- 23:56Speaker 2: then the situation in the closet that was never shown,
- 24:00Speaker 2: that she gets down with Harry in the closet.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't remember hearing about in the closet. No,
- 24:05Speaker 3: he hooked up with Abby in the van. And then
- 24:09Speaker 3: that night he had.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Sex with Amber.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Okay, when we hang up today, I'm going to have
- 24:13Speaker 2: to go back and rewatch it and I will text you,
- 24:15Speaker 2: but I am delusional, but I thought I heard her
- 24:18Speaker 2: say they had sex again in the closet the same
- 24:21Speaker 2: night he and Amber did.
- 24:22Speaker 1: That would mean he had sex three times that day.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Because the girls were also implying that he got way
- 24:28Speaker 2: more sex than this show let on.
- 24:31Speaker 3: No, I don't know if I'm wrong, but I think
- 24:34Speaker 3: it was they hooked up in the van and then
- 24:37Speaker 3: that night he had sex with Amber and in the bathroom,
- 24:41Speaker 3: which we're going to talk about because Abby and Amber
- 24:45Speaker 3: are like this, peeps.
- 24:46Speaker 1: They are tight. They are posting videos together. They are friendly.
- 24:50Speaker 1: We find out later that they met up in Australia together.
- 24:55Speaker 3: So I'm a little interested in There's a lot of
- 25:00Speaker 3: animosity towards Danelle and her hooking up with Harry, but
- 25:04Speaker 3: we seem to not have a problem with Abby who
- 25:07Speaker 3: hooked up with Harry the same day as you.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Well, we'll get into it.
- 25:23Speaker 3: This is what I really do want to talk about, though,
- 25:26Speaker 3: because it actually does not get discussed ever again during
- 25:30Speaker 3: this reunion, which I think is a gigantic fail. And
- 25:33Speaker 3: it's Sam and Harry and the entire breakup situation, how
- 25:38Speaker 3: she watches back and sees that, yes, he was lying
- 25:42Speaker 3: to her the entire time about hooking up with Amber.
- 25:46Speaker 1: And I wrote this here because.
- 25:51Speaker 3: You know, we discussed when this all happened about, you know,
- 25:55Speaker 3: a polite way that Harry could have, you know, not
- 25:58Speaker 3: outed Amber, but also not lied to Sam. And we
- 26:02Speaker 3: gave this whole explanation on the pod of how he
- 26:05Speaker 3: could have said it. And then I wrote here, OMG,
- 26:08Speaker 3: Ellie gives an example on how Harry could have handled
- 26:11Speaker 3: this situation. Not gonna lie, it sounds exactly like what
- 26:15Speaker 3: I said in the previous episode. So.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Ellie's in the comments.
- 26:20Speaker 3: I know that she's in the comments of our Instagram,
- 26:23Speaker 3: so I would assume that she's watching or listening to
- 26:27Speaker 3: the pod as well. So bravo, Ellie, for bringing up
- 26:30Speaker 3: that wonderful example of how Harry could have handled the situation.
- 26:35Speaker 3: One other thing I'm going to say, too, about the
- 26:37Speaker 3: questions that were asked during the reunion. So Harry posted
- 26:42Speaker 3: this The show posted this. I think Netflix had a
- 26:47Speaker 3: QR code up when the last episode ended and promoting
- 26:53Speaker 3: the reunion that you could submit and write in your questions.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Bravo does this all the time for Housewives reunions. You're
- 27:04Speaker 3: doing a disservice by not saying who the question is from.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I agree.
- 27:10Speaker 3: So that's another thing where I'm like, don't reinvent the wheel.
- 27:14Speaker 3: You solicited for questions.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Use that.
- 27:18Speaker 3: And it also, by the way, it takes the heat
- 27:21Speaker 3: off the host because you can ask some.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Really shady questions and.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Be like, pink Jeep 24 in fan involvement. It's fan involvement.
- 27:33Speaker 3: And people love to hear their questions asked during these things.
- 27:38Speaker 3: They could have done a whole backstage situation asking the
- 27:41Speaker 3: girls questions before and after. So I didn't really love that,
- 27:47Speaker 3: that they solicited and did all that and then didn't
- 27:49Speaker 3: actually pay that off.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I want to know real quick before you move on
- 27:53Speaker 2: if you caught when Sam said they had all of
- 27:56Speaker 2: that time to talk. And Harry, when he found out
- 27:59Speaker 2: she wasn't going to sleep with him, she literally says,
- 28:03Speaker 2: they didn't show it, but he does finger guns and
- 28:06Speaker 2: is like, see you tomorrow at the ceremony.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not going to lie.
- 28:12Speaker 3: We said when we watched that episode that we were
- 28:14Speaker 3: not pleased with his attitude and how he even came
- 28:17Speaker 3: across in that little snippet. So I can't imagine that
- 28:20Speaker 3: he looked much better extending it and showing more.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Seems like his personality really shifted.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I would agree with Sam when she says that he
- 28:29Speaker 3: does not deal well with confrontation because she not only
- 28:33Speaker 3: remember in that conversation was confronting him again about the
- 28:37Speaker 3: Amber situation, but she was also saying that he.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Puts on a different personality for the cameras. And he immediately.
- 28:45Speaker 3: And then she said, and I'm not sleeping with you tonight.
- 28:47Speaker 3: And it just all, you know, did a 180 very quickly.
- 28:51Speaker 2: But I think if any of us needed any extra
- 28:53Speaker 2: confirmation on that, all you had to do is.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Watch the rest of this episode. Exactly.
- 28:58Speaker 3: And I think that, you know, the girls being appalled
- 29:04Speaker 3: by his behavior.
- 29:06Speaker 1: And my girl, Emily, my virgin.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Uh, you know, standing up and being like, you know,
- 29:13Speaker 3: his personality did a 180 the second that you said
- 29:15Speaker 3: you weren't sleeping with him. I was like, yeah, I, I,
- 29:20Speaker 3: I'm not going to deny that. I didn't think that
- 29:22Speaker 3: that was Harry's best moment. And what I'm upset with
- 29:27Speaker 3: is it played out this way on the show.
- 29:30Speaker 1: And what did I say?
- 29:31Speaker 3: I kept being like, well, they got to keep something
- 29:33Speaker 3: for the reunion. Sam and Harry are going to have
- 29:35Speaker 3: it out at the reunion.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Nope.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Our hosts address it. it here.
- 29:40Speaker 3: And then we never, and Harry is not on stage
- 29:44Speaker 3: and we never address it with Harry. And this is
- 29:46Speaker 3: a major downfall of this reunion. You cannot have this
- 29:53Speaker 3: kind of an exit where somebody leaves the show without
- 29:56Speaker 3: even saying goodbye to him. And now this is the
- 29:58Speaker 3: first time they're seeing each other face to face and
- 30:01Speaker 3: you're not going to address it at all.
- 30:04Speaker 1: It's very badly produced.
- 30:06Speaker 3: This is a moment where I was like, they don't
- 30:09Speaker 3: know what they're doing. And I don't know if they
- 30:11Speaker 3: ran out of time or whatever. I will say that
- 30:16Speaker 3: I felt like Haley Bailey at points was feeling extremely
- 30:21Speaker 3: overwhelmed because when somebody is speaking their truth and being emotional,
- 30:27Speaker 3: You don't want to cut them off, right?
- 30:30Speaker 1: But as a host, you have a job to do.
- 30:33Speaker 1: And I'm going to bet.
- 30:34Speaker 3: That Haley Bailey had an earpiece in her ear.
- 30:39Speaker 1: That's why her hair was down.
- 30:41Speaker 3: And probably had somebody in her ear either feeding her
- 30:45Speaker 3: questions or telling her, pause, let it play out.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Okay, now you can jump in.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Like, this is what we do as producers is you
- 30:54Speaker 3: have to kind.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Of like let the moment happen. But then... and I.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Always tell this to people because talent has a really
- 31:01Speaker 3: hard time doing this, there are polite ways to interrupt.
- 31:06Speaker 1: And move the conversation along.
- 31:08Speaker 3: So it's not an easy job to do, and so
- 31:13Speaker 3: I'm not knocking Haley Bailey whatsoever.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I think she really handled herself well.
- 31:18Speaker 3: So I'm going to hope that it was a time
- 31:21Speaker 3: constraint and that they ran out of time, and that's.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Why they didn't get to it because....
- 31:26Speaker 3: It's notorious for Real Housewives reunions. They film over 12
- 31:35Speaker 3: hours for one reunion.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Wow.
- 31:39Speaker 3: It's a 12-hour filming day, which is why they're able
- 31:41Speaker 3: to do it into three parts. This was an hour
- 31:46Speaker 3: and a half of the reunion. So you can imagine there.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Was stuff edited out, of course.
- 31:54Speaker 3: But you would probably guess that this was maybe a
- 31:57Speaker 3: half day.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Maybe it was five hours, you know, so. I don't know.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Maybe we can talk to some of the girls about
- 32:06Speaker 3: things that they felt could have been addressed in the
- 32:08Speaker 3: reunion because I will say Deanna is going to be
- 32:12Speaker 3: talking to some of the ladies from the cast.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I'm so excited. I'm like beside myself. I'm so excited.
- 32:18Speaker 1: It's going to be good. This is the kind of
- 32:20Speaker 1: stuff that I really love about reality.
- 32:22Speaker 2: TV and being a fan of these shows and doing
- 32:25Speaker 2: this stuff with you, Heather, is because as a viewer,
- 32:27Speaker 2: I need that. These little tidbits that you're giving back
- 32:29Speaker 2: to me about you know, behind the scenes stuff production
- 32:32Speaker 2: that I am really unaware of. I like live for
- 32:35Speaker 2: this stuff that you're telling me right now. Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I mean, and I, and I want to give the
- 32:39Speaker 1: show some grace.
- 32:41Speaker 3: It's a season one and unfortunately part of working on
- 32:45Speaker 3: a season one show is also about figuring it out,
- 32:49Speaker 3: you know, but that's why I say when it comes to.
- 32:51Speaker 1: A reunion, um, Don't reinvent the wheel.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Actually just look and follow and do the exact same
- 32:57Speaker 3: thing that the other shows that you've taken bits and
- 33:00Speaker 3: parts of have done. You don't have to make, you know,
- 33:03Speaker 3: a bachelor reunion where it's way too long and it's
- 33:06Speaker 3: way too much found footage and highlight reels, but there's
- 33:10Speaker 3: a structure, right? So it should have been, this is
- 33:12Speaker 3: the structure it should have been. Should have been the
- 33:14Speaker 3: women out there with the host first.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Then it should have been Harry coming out, joining the women,
- 33:20Speaker 3: having his one-on-one moments with the women. Then it should
- 33:25Speaker 3: have been Amber joining Harry on stage and they should
- 33:29Speaker 3: have had their own time together. And then final thoughts,
- 33:35Speaker 3: final moments, anything that wasn't addressed. But because they did
- 33:39Speaker 3: not follow a structure like that, it became like a tornado,
- 33:44Speaker 3: I think. And When it starts, it's really hard to
- 33:48Speaker 3: kind of like reel it back in. So we pan
- 33:53Speaker 3: over to Danelle after this Sam stuff. And they talk
- 33:57Speaker 3: about that it was painful for her on the wedding day.
- 34:01Speaker 3: I did love, did you catch when she said that
- 34:06Speaker 3: the breakup was as fast as it looked like on screen?
- 34:10Speaker 1: Yeah, because we wondered that, remember? Exactly.
- 34:12Speaker 3: And that's why I was like, wow, he was just
- 34:16Speaker 3: really in there, did it, and left.
- 34:20Speaker 1: And I was also really.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Surprised to hear that Danelle says that Harry reached out
- 34:28Speaker 3: to her. We hear differing stories about this, but she
- 34:31Speaker 3: says that they did talk after the breakup.
- 34:37Speaker 1: That he reached out to her to check in on her.
- 34:40Speaker 3: And then she says the breakup was fast, just like
- 34:45Speaker 3: it looked on camera. And she says in mid-January, Harry
- 34:48Speaker 3: reached out to her again to say he was single
- 34:51Speaker 3: and wanted to see her. She says they talked for
- 34:54Speaker 3: a few days. He sent her flowers. And then she
- 34:57Speaker 3: went to LA to spend time with him. She says
- 35:00Speaker 3: they had sex. They said they loved each other. And
- 35:03Speaker 3: then two days later, he's taking her to the airport.
- 35:06Speaker 3: And she says it felt off. She confronted him and
- 35:11Speaker 3: he didn't give her a good answer. So she left again, heartbroken.
- 35:15Speaker 3: And then they talked a few times since after that.
- 35:17Speaker 3: And she says that they're in a good place. She's
- 35:20Speaker 3: not really interested in exploring anything with him again. And
- 35:24Speaker 3: she says that she kept the small ring, the first
- 35:27Speaker 3: ring that he gave her. So that all seems kind
- 35:31Speaker 3: of like peachy keen, right? Like buttoned up, like she
- 35:35Speaker 3: doesn't have any sort of animosity is what it sounds like. Sam,
- 35:39Speaker 3: right before that, sounds like she kind of wants to
- 35:42Speaker 3: get some things addressed because she felt stupid watching this back.
- 35:46Speaker 3: So out next comes Harry and Amber. And I wrote,
- 35:51Speaker 3: the vibes are not great. Their body language, it's like bad.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Like they're not even holding hands, nothing. It's like they
- 35:57Speaker 3: just are, they walk out there. And I wrote, Harry
- 36:00Speaker 3: is wearing hot glasses. But I think I saw this
- 36:03Speaker 3: on social media. They were like meta glasses.
- 36:05Speaker 1: They were meta glasses.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Right.
- 36:06Speaker 2: I'm not sure if they're going to use that footage
- 36:08Speaker 2: for something in particular.
- 36:10Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 36:10Speaker 2: But they made a point. I'm sure you probably know
- 36:13Speaker 2: better than me. It was a partnership of some sort
- 36:15Speaker 2: that they got paid for. but that he's wearing these
- 36:17Speaker 2: meta glasses. I don't know if they will later show
- 36:20Speaker 2: footage that he took, you know what I mean? But
- 36:23Speaker 2: he does look great in glasses. We said that in
- 36:25Speaker 2: another podcast because in all of his social media posts,
- 36:28Speaker 2: he has his cute little Harry Potter glasses on. He
- 36:31Speaker 2: looks great in round frames. So I actually love him
- 36:34Speaker 2: in glasses. But this is where the reunion became pure
- 36:39Speaker 2: chaos for me at this point.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 36:42Speaker 2: And we're on this show, Heather, and this is where
- 36:46Speaker 2: since we're comparing, this is where I think other reunion
- 36:51Speaker 2: shows do it well and have stuck to the rhythm
- 36:55Speaker 2: of how things work.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Because in this moment, oh, you can feel the tension.
- 37:01Speaker 2: I can feel it through my television screen. I can
- 37:04Speaker 2: see the anger and frustration on Amber from the get-go.
- 37:10Speaker 2: And what I do not like, and I have been
- 37:13Speaker 2: dying to say this to you since we started this
- 37:15Speaker 2: podcast recording, is that this feels very female-centered drama. And
- 37:23Speaker 2: Harry just sits back and lets the cats tear each
- 37:28Speaker 2: other up.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Well, you know, I said at the beginning of this
- 37:34Speaker 3: that my issue with this was not only about things
- 37:39Speaker 3: that were not about the things that were said in this,
- 37:43Speaker 3: but the things that were not said. My biggest issue, guys,
- 37:49Speaker 3: with this, what has gained the most fodder about this
- 37:54Speaker 3: show since the last episode last week? What's been the
- 37:58Speaker 3: consistent thing that everybody has.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Talked about on the internet? That the marriage wasn't real.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Thank you. I am following you right now. I cannot
- 38:08Speaker 1: wait to say something.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Literally never spoken about, never addressed on this show.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Why?
- 38:16Speaker 3: Because it wasn't real, guys. It was not real. And
- 38:21Speaker 3: this then starts to get me a little... I'm not pissed.
- 38:25Speaker 3: I'm just a little like about it because Amber.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Has every right to be upset. I am not devaluing
- 38:36Speaker 3: her feelings. She felt that he wasn't in it the
- 38:42Speaker 3: way she was. She lists off a whole bunch of things.
- 38:47Speaker 1: The lying, the gaslighting, the manipulation.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Emotional abuse, I believe, is used at one point. So
- 38:54Speaker 3: there's a lot. But she keeps talking about the marriage.
- 38:59Speaker 3: She keeps it. She goes, then we were on our
- 39:02Speaker 3: honeymoon and you cheated on me. And Carrie is very
- 39:05Speaker 3: confused by the word honeymoon. He's like honeymoon. And she's like, yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 3: after you get married, the first trip you take is
- 39:12Speaker 3: a honeymoon. And it's just like paperwork was never filed
- 39:19Speaker 3: to our knowledge. This is what the internet is reporting
- 39:22Speaker 3: that they have gone looking for the marriage certificate and
- 39:25Speaker 3: the license. Harry said in videos, He signed paperwork.
- 39:30Speaker 1: It was not filed. So, I'm not trying to be mean,
- 39:36Speaker 1: but you were not legally married. Am I wrong? Am
- 39:40Speaker 1: I wrong?
- 39:41Speaker 2: No, you are absolutely right. I struggled at this part
- 39:44Speaker 2: in the episode too, so I'm so glad that you
- 39:46Speaker 2: brought it up and.
- 39:47Speaker 1: That you said it because.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Oh man, this is where I have to take a
- 39:53Speaker 2: step back, Heather, because watching it, I got really mad
- 39:56Speaker 2: at producers, right? Because I, trying to play devil's advocate,
- 40:02Speaker 2: Amber appeared to be highly produced in this bit, not
- 40:09Speaker 2: negating anything. her anger and her frustration and all of
- 40:12Speaker 2: the things that she said. I think every bit of
- 40:13Speaker 2: that was charged up by a producer.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Yes. A hundred, a hundred percent.
- 40:19Speaker 2: This is the scenario I am running out in my head.
- 40:21Speaker 2: And since you have the behind the scenes knowledge, I
- 40:24Speaker 2: need you to tell me if I'm on track here,
- 40:26Speaker 2: but like, It felt very producer-driven for her to sit
- 40:30Speaker 2: there and be like, on our wedding, then our honeymoon,
- 40:33Speaker 2: and this and that, and Danelle, you should have reached
- 40:35Speaker 2: out to me and not him.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Calling Danelle a homewrecker. Somebody went through a list of
- 40:44Speaker 3: words with her, and whether she realizes that or not,
- 40:52Speaker 3: this was very much... Somebody sat down with her and
- 40:57Speaker 3: charged her up for sure.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Can you believe it? He cheated on you on your honeymoon.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Thank you. Again, neither of us are negating her feelings.
- 41:11Speaker 1: She is totally.
- 41:13Speaker 3: allowed to be upset, to feel embarrassed, to feel that
- 41:17Speaker 3: she was way more in it than he was, to
- 41:20Speaker 3: feel that that wedding, she said everything truthful and really
- 41:23Speaker 3: took it seriously.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I'm not saying that she didn't.
- 41:27Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, the show did
- 41:29Speaker 3: a disservice to the audience by not acknowledging that this
- 41:33Speaker 3: was not a legally binding marriage.
- 41:36Speaker 1: And that is not on the talent to do. And
- 41:39Speaker 1: that is a.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Choice that the show made because that is the most
- 41:45Speaker 3: giant fodder around this show for the last week and
- 41:48Speaker 3: a half.
- 41:49Speaker 2: And given the fact that they didn't even film the
- 41:51Speaker 2: reunion until recently, and they have seen the chatter on
- 41:56Speaker 2: social media and people talking about it, they have allowed
- 41:59Speaker 2: Harry to address it in his own way.
- 42:03Speaker 3: I agree.
- 42:03Speaker 2: They did everyone a disservice by not saying, okay, here's
- 42:06Speaker 2: why we did it this way.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Exactly. There was the ceremony. Yes, it was filmed.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Yes, it seemed like a wedding, but we did not
- 42:14Speaker 2: file the paperwork. So this was not a legally binding contract.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 42:18Speaker 1: So none of you will be going to get a
- 42:20Speaker 1: divorce after this. Right. Listen, I know what divorce is like.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 42:27Speaker 1: This allows everyone, us as viewers.
- 42:30Speaker 2: As well as the other women to say, okay, I
- 42:33Speaker 2: get it. Two people who took this kind of serious,
- 42:37Speaker 2: maybe only one of us did, but that's neither here
- 42:39Speaker 2: nor there right now.
- 42:41Speaker 1: They had a tough breakup.
- 42:43Speaker 2: But to sit here when she was saying all of that,
- 42:46Speaker 2: like our wedding, our honeymoon, all this, I literally in
- 42:50Speaker 2: my head was super frustrated for her Just because that
- 42:53Speaker 2: was so producer-driven to sit there and berate Harry in
- 42:58Speaker 2: that moment.
- 43:00Speaker 1: And berate Danelle. And berate Danelle.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Yes, I am with you on that because I do
- 43:05Speaker 2: not like... I am women's biggest cheerleader. Like you tell
- 43:10Speaker 2: me you wrote a book, Heather. I'm the first person
- 43:12Speaker 2: to be like, let me pump it out for you.
- 43:14Speaker 2: I don't like when women are pinned against each other, right?
- 43:18Speaker 2: What Harry did was go on a show. Let's marry Harry.
- 43:22Speaker 2: He's still in his boy era. He had a lot
- 43:25Speaker 2: of fun messing around, kissing. Was he serious? Probably not.
- 43:29Speaker 2: So we all kind of got that from the show, but,
- 43:32Speaker 2: What I don't like is that in the end here,
- 43:35Speaker 2: Harry went through a show. He did what he was told.
- 43:38Speaker 2: He picked one, not the other. And then the two
- 43:41Speaker 2: women were pinned against each other. I don't know how
- 43:44Speaker 2: much of that was Amber really putting her expectations on
- 43:49Speaker 2: Danelle or how much of that was another producer sitting
- 43:52Speaker 2: with her and being like, isn't that messed up?
- 43:55Speaker 1: She should have come to you. She's your girl.
- 43:57Speaker 2: She should have come to you and asked if you're
- 43:58Speaker 2: still together.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Let's unpack that.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Let's talk about that because I thought that Danelle actually
- 44:15Speaker 3: made a really strong point for this. So just to
- 44:18Speaker 3: recap really quickly, Harry and Danelle break up on the
- 44:22Speaker 3: wedding day.
- 44:23Speaker 1: He chooses Amber.
- 44:24Speaker 3: They ride off into the sunset. Um, Danelle says, Harry
- 44:29Speaker 3: reached out to me a couple of weeks later to.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Check on me.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Amber says, no, Danelle actually reached out to a producer
- 44:38Speaker 3: to ask for Harry to reach out to her. So
- 44:42Speaker 3: maybe we'll get to the bottom of that in your conversations.
- 44:47Speaker 1: But they both agree that Harry asked Amber.
- 44:51Speaker 3: for permission before he spoke to Danelle. Everybody seems to
- 44:56Speaker 3: be in agreement on that, that everybody was in the loop.
- 44:59Speaker 1: They speak, whatever, that's it.
- 45:03Speaker 3: Danelle goes on to say that Amber never reached out
- 45:07Speaker 3: to her knowing that she'd been dumped that day. She
- 45:11Speaker 3: says that she actually followed Amber on social media first
- 45:17Speaker 3: and that Amber still didn't message her. So she messaged
- 45:22Speaker 3: her first. So when.
- 45:25Speaker 2: I thought this was key information because she shares that
- 45:29Speaker 2: in the same moment where Amber is really on top
- 45:33Speaker 2: of her about how she should have reached out to her.
- 45:35Speaker 1: She's a girl's girl. She should have checked in with her, blah, blah, blah.
- 45:38Speaker 2: And I thought that that was a really solid point
- 45:41Speaker 2: for Danelle to slide that in there. We're like, okay,
- 45:43Speaker 2: if we're playing the game, you didn't check in on me.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Exactly. And also.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Like, so basically we're all in agreement after they, so
- 45:56Speaker 3: Harry says that he and Amber broke up in Australia
- 46:00Speaker 3: and then he gets back. This must be the mid
- 46:02Speaker 3: January thing. And he hits up Danelle to like rekindle.
- 46:08Speaker 3: Amber's argument is we never broke up in Australia. We
- 46:12Speaker 3: were actually still together. And when he hits you up
- 46:15Speaker 3: to rekindle, you should have reached out to me and
- 46:18Speaker 3: confirmed that we were broken up.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Those are unmet expectations. I disagree.
- 46:27Speaker 3: I just don't think that, I just don't see anybody
- 46:33Speaker 3: doing that.
- 46:34Speaker 1: Yeah. I disagree given this situation. You know what I mean?
- 46:38Speaker 2: I don't think that It doesn't sound like they remained
- 46:42Speaker 2: friends when filming was done.
- 46:44Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like they were maybe that close through filming.
- 46:46Speaker 2: To begin with, right? Amber never checks in on Danelle.
- 46:49Speaker 2: So to have the expectation that if Harry reached out
- 46:53Speaker 2: to Danelle and was like, hey, yo, we broke up.
- 46:56Speaker 1: I can't let you go. Could we see what happens?
- 46:58Speaker 2: I don't think that personally, I don't think that I
- 47:01Speaker 2: would have reached out to a woman that I'm not
- 47:03Speaker 2: necessarily close to, right? I would believe the man that
- 47:07Speaker 2: I have these feelings for. And listen, the whole situation
- 47:11Speaker 2: is messed up. Given someone who's been on a show
- 47:13Speaker 2: like this, you come home and you are very confused.
- 47:15Speaker 2: You are left with something unmet, these unfinished feelings, tons
- 47:20Speaker 2: of questions.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I think it is a thousand.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Percent normal for Danelle to want to see Harry, see
- 47:28Speaker 2: if there's anything left.
- 47:29Speaker 1: And I think it's normal for Harry too.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Yes. I think it's normal for Harry too, to be like, okay,
- 47:37Speaker 3: These were my two strongest connections.
- 47:39Speaker 1: We were in a weird environment. Now the cameras are gone.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Maybe I need to like revisit this because I was
- 47:47Speaker 3: jumbled up.
- 47:48Speaker 1: I was confused, whatever.
- 47:51Speaker 3: Amber throughout this kept saying she has proof that they
- 47:56Speaker 3: were not broken up.
- 47:57Speaker 1: She has the proof. Amber, show it.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:01Speaker 3: Like get out those text messages, post them on your
- 48:04Speaker 3: stories with the time and date stamp show them.
- 48:07Speaker 1: I want to see them. I want to believe.
- 48:10Speaker 3: And I'm not saying I don't believe you, but it's
- 48:12Speaker 3: going to only help your situation if you have that.
- 48:16Speaker 3: So I encourage you, if you want to speak your truth,
- 48:19Speaker 3: post it. My issue is don't come for Danelle. I
- 48:25Speaker 3: really don't think that that's where your anger needs to
- 48:28Speaker 3: be pointed. I think that Does that situation hurt your
- 48:32Speaker 3: feelings that he went back to his runner-up right after you?
- 48:37Speaker 1: I think that does hurt your feelings, and I think
- 48:39Speaker 1: that that's okay.
- 48:41Speaker 3: To feel that way. I didn't like the name calling.
- 48:46Speaker 3: I didn't like her calling her a homewrecker. I didn't
- 48:50Speaker 3: like her saying that she, like, Danelle was, like, sliding
- 48:54Speaker 3: in and, like, trying to ask and, like, all of
- 48:56Speaker 3: that stuff.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Like, it just... It felt gross. It's just, you're upset
- 49:01Speaker 1: with Harry.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Right?
- 49:03Speaker 1: And then we're all sitting there. You're upset with Harry.
- 49:04Speaker 1: This is where I go. Then we're all sitting there.
- 49:06Speaker 1: This is all happening.
- 49:07Speaker 2: And Harry is just sitting there, bouncing back and forth,
- 49:11Speaker 2: watching the circus.
- 49:13Speaker 3: Well, did you see at one point somebody said, stand up,
- 49:16Speaker 3: like say something.
- 49:17Speaker 1: And he goes, I don't even know you. I did.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Be quiet. I did. I'm so glad that they showed that.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Sit down, girl. What is your name? Very typical.
- 49:27Speaker 3: There were some girls that had very minimal screen time
- 49:31Speaker 3: that all of a sudden find their voice, you know,
- 49:35Speaker 3: when they've had time to sit back and watch the show. So.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it was very uncomfortable.
- 49:42Speaker 3: So also, they go into this scenario about what happened
- 49:48Speaker 3: when filming wrapped. They went to Hawaii, then they went
- 49:53Speaker 3: to Australia, and they talk about that they weren't supposed
- 49:58Speaker 3: to be out in public. Things got photos got taken
- 50:02Speaker 3: of them.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I've seen some of these photos. Have you seen them? Yes.
- 50:05Speaker 3: I've seen the one of him with his arm around Amber,
- 50:09Speaker 3: and it's the back of her head. And you can
- 50:10Speaker 3: tell it's her because of her hair. And it was
- 50:13Speaker 3: when they were in Australia. And these were leaked to
- 50:17Speaker 3: places like DuMont and other gossip sites, which did spoil things.
- 50:22Speaker 1: So this is.
- 50:22Speaker 3: Where I push back again on that. The marriage certificate
- 50:26Speaker 3: was never filed because we were worried about spoilers.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Babe, the spoilers were out like within days of, you know,
- 50:35Speaker 3: filming wrapping.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Also, I really want to say this too. I just
- 50:38Speaker 1: want to say this too.
- 50:41Speaker 3: If they were really concerned about the marriage certificate.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Being filed and spoilers, right? That's what they claim.
- 50:50Speaker 3: I want everybody to know that's listening that there were
- 50:53Speaker 3: a lot of guests at that wedding.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Those guests had their cell phones. At all times.
- 51:02Speaker 3: You're really worried about spoilers? You're confiscating phones at that ceremony.
- 51:07Speaker 3: And I know that they had their cell phones because
- 51:10Speaker 3: all of them started posting pictures of Harry and Amber
- 51:14Speaker 3: the second the finale aired.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:18Speaker 3: So I'm sure that they were under embargo to not
- 51:21Speaker 3: post the photos.
- 51:22Speaker 1: But if you're really that concerned about spoilers.
- 51:26Speaker 3: You're confiscating phones at something like that.
- 51:28Speaker 1: So they were never really getting married.
- 51:31Speaker 3: No.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Heather. No. And we're all mad about this. Why? It
- 51:36Speaker 1: adds a level.
- 51:38Speaker 3: It tries to add a level of validity to something.
- 51:42Speaker 3: And I think it continues, right? So it's like Harry's
- 51:47Speaker 3: confused when the word honeymoon is.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Used at him.
- 51:49Speaker 3: He also laughs at the end of this when the
- 51:53Speaker 3: engagement ring is taken off her finger and she throws
- 51:56Speaker 3: it at him.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Why is she even wearing it for the reunion? They've
- 52:00Speaker 2: been broken up for like seven years.
- 52:02Speaker 1: We'll have to ask her, I guess. I don't know. Also, okay,
- 52:09Speaker 1: so going back. So they were in Australia.
- 52:12Speaker 3: They're getting accidentally photographed together and Netflix is supposedly calling
- 52:17Speaker 3: Harry and being like, This can't happen.
- 52:19Speaker 1: And by the way, this does happen.
- 52:22Speaker 3: Hi, on The Bachelor, Bachelorette, remember when Caitlin Bristow spoiled
- 52:27Speaker 3: her season by Snapchatting herself in bed with her winner
- 52:32Speaker 3: and accidentally posting it live on Snapchat instead of in
- 52:37Speaker 3: a direct message?
- 52:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 3: This happens and it's not okay. Networks get very upset
- 52:44Speaker 3: about this kind of stuff. I'm honestly surprised.
- 52:48Speaker 2: That they allowed them to be so open after the
- 52:51Speaker 2: show is done filming anyway.
- 52:52Speaker 1: With The Bachelor, we don't get to do that.
- 52:54Speaker 2: You have these getaways where you get to see the
- 52:57Speaker 2: person that you chose. But Heather, we are shipped off,
- 53:00Speaker 2: flown in differently, driven by two different people into this
- 53:04Speaker 2: house that they have rented in the middle of nowhere Hollywood.
- 53:08Speaker 2: And you are locked in this house for the three
- 53:11Speaker 2: or four days that you get to spend time with
- 53:13Speaker 2: each other. So I'm actually surprised that they allowed this
- 53:16Speaker 2: kind of freedom for the two of them.
- 53:18Speaker 3: I think that Bachelor is one of the last shows
- 53:21Speaker 3: to kind of do something like that. I've never worked
- 53:24Speaker 3: on a dating show that arranged stuff for talent post-show.
- 53:29Speaker 3: I think it's just that it's in your contract. Don't
- 53:32Speaker 3: be spotted.
- 53:32Speaker 1: If you're going to.
- 53:33Speaker 3: Do it, like be sly about it, meaning like wear wigs,
- 53:37Speaker 3: go places, you know, that you're not likely to be spotted.
- 53:40Speaker 3: But I mean, we just covered Farmer Wants a Wife
- 53:43Speaker 3: earlier on this show. And there were tons of spoilers
- 53:48Speaker 3: out about, you know, who one of them chose, I
- 53:52Speaker 3: had it spoiled to me, like looking at one of
- 53:54Speaker 3: their Instagrams before it was made public because of a
- 53:57Speaker 3: reflection and a photo. Like these people spend time with
- 54:00Speaker 3: each other on these shows after. If it's legit, you
- 54:03Speaker 3: can't stop them.
- 54:04Speaker 1: But I do believe that what Harry.
- 54:08Speaker 3: Is saying when these spoiler pictures came out, that he
- 54:11Speaker 3: was getting phone calls because networks are not happy about
- 54:14Speaker 3: this kind of stuff.
- 54:15Speaker 1: So Harry says.
- 54:17Speaker 3: To counteract the spoiler news, He starts to make content
- 54:23Speaker 3: with a influencer to kind of distract.
- 54:27Speaker 1: And this is on the trip. Amber is there.
- 54:31Speaker 3: And everybody's in agreement. Everybody knows that this is what's happening.
- 54:35Speaker 3: She flat out says at the reunion, she was cool
- 54:37Speaker 3: with it.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Yes. She said it out loud.
- 54:40Speaker 3: But she keeps going on and on later in the
- 54:42Speaker 3: conversation saying that, Harry was prioritizing this woman and pushing
- 54:48Speaker 3: her to the side and going off and filming content.
- 54:53Speaker 3: And then Abby joins the conversation and is like, oh yeah,
- 54:58Speaker 3: I actually met up with you guys in Australia on
- 55:00Speaker 3: that trip.
- 55:00Speaker 1: I just happened to be there.
- 55:02Speaker 3: And she's like, I just ended up hanging out with
- 55:04Speaker 3: Amber more than with the two of them.
- 55:08Speaker 1: And Harry's like, yeah, because all you guys wanted to
- 55:10Speaker 1: do was get drunk.
- 55:12Speaker 3: And we know that Harry has been very open about sobriety,
- 55:16Speaker 3: exploring that.
- 55:17Speaker 1: I don't know if he identifies as sober.
- 55:20Speaker 3: But that he was in a phase for, I know,
- 55:24Speaker 3: in a chapter of life for a while where that
- 55:27Speaker 3: was not a priority for him. So I feel like
- 55:29Speaker 3: if he felt comfortable enough to say that on stage,
- 55:32Speaker 3: then that meant that he was not drinking at that time.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Yeah. As someone who is sober, I would never put
- 55:38Speaker 2: myself in a situation to sit with two other people
- 55:40Speaker 2: while And watch them drink all day long.
- 55:43Speaker 1: I would never.
- 55:45Speaker 3: And so he also is basically saying like, I could
- 55:49Speaker 3: not go out with you.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I could not be seen with you.
- 55:53Speaker 3: And does that mean, okay, I can't be seen with you.
- 55:59Speaker 3: So I'm going to go film content and get seen
- 56:01Speaker 3: with this other girl. Listen, it seems to be that
- 56:04Speaker 3: they both have differing opinions on how much this was
- 56:08Speaker 3: a priority to him and how much he was doing.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Could that have felt good as a woman watching the
- 56:15Speaker 3: guy that you're starting a new relationship with go off and,
- 56:19Speaker 3: you know, film and hang and spend time with somebody
- 56:22Speaker 3: when you're in a different country? And like, you know,
- 56:25Speaker 3: I can only imagine that that probably didn't feel good.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Of course not.
- 56:31Speaker 3: I understand where it's coming from, but I also think
- 56:36Speaker 3: you have to be in the mindset of that you're
- 56:38Speaker 3: dating an influencer. Yeah. Harry's an influencer. That is what
- 56:42Speaker 3: he does for a living. His job is to be
- 56:45Speaker 3: seen out and about. Harry also gives me the vibe
- 56:50Speaker 3: that he's.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Not a homebody.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Yeah. boy likes to go out and be seen and
- 56:55Speaker 3: be social. He's a little bit of a social butterfly.
- 56:58Speaker 2: He made a point to say that when we were together,
- 57:00Speaker 2: we had to be stuck in a hotel room. And
- 57:02Speaker 2: you can just hear it in his voice that I've
- 57:04Speaker 2: had enough of that. There's only so much sex, movies,
- 57:09Speaker 2: and room service one can handle for several days in
- 57:12Speaker 2: a row.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Well, also remember, he's also filmed a TV show, right?
- 57:15Speaker 3: Where he was not it was at the mercy of
- 57:19Speaker 3: somebody else's schedule for him. So he's not allowed when
- 57:22Speaker 3: he's filming a TV show to just leave the house
- 57:25Speaker 3: or leave the hotel room and just go out and
- 57:27Speaker 3: about and do his thing. No, they do the same
- 57:31Speaker 3: thing to the lead that they do to the contestants.
- 57:33Speaker 3: They keep you under watch. You're not allowed to go
- 57:36Speaker 3: and do whatever you want. And for him, it's actually
- 57:39Speaker 3: more labor intensive because he's got to be there.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Usually the lead is filming the most out of anybody.
- 57:45Speaker 3: So He's got to do, you know, background packages or
- 57:49Speaker 3: B-roll or shots in his room.
- 57:51Speaker 1: It's just, so I can only imagine that.
- 57:53Speaker 3: After he gets out of the cage of filming a show,
- 57:56Speaker 3: he's like, yeah, I'm not going to sit in a
- 57:58Speaker 3: hotel room like during my time.
- 58:00Speaker 1: And also Australia.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Right. We're back in his like, where his family, like
- 58:06Speaker 3: his family's in New Zealand, but his mom's in Australia.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:09Speaker 3: So I can only imagine too that he's like wanting
- 58:11Speaker 3: to be out and about in a country he grew
- 58:14Speaker 3: up in, you know?
- 58:15Speaker 1: He probably also did not sign up to hang out
- 58:17Speaker 1: with Abby.
- 58:19Speaker 3: Probably.
- 58:20Speaker 1: And again, I think this is really interesting.
- 58:24Speaker 3: The two girlies that had sex with Harry are.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Cool with each other.
- 58:31Speaker 3: We know that they had sex on the same day,
- 58:34Speaker 3: but there's a lot of animosity towards Danelle and I
- 58:40Speaker 3: don't know how I would act in that situation, but
- 58:44Speaker 3: I would really try to be understanding as another woman
- 58:51Speaker 3: where maybe the feelings were. And I would really like
- 58:54Speaker 3: to hear from Amber again. What it felt like to
- 58:58Speaker 3: watch the show back and watch his connection with Danelle
- 59:01Speaker 3: build because I really also didn't like it when Amber
- 59:05Speaker 3: threw out, he was never going to marry you.
- 59:08Speaker 1: He told me that when we were in New Z.
- 59:10Speaker 1: That was a dig. That was such a dig, Heather.
- 59:15Speaker 1: And unnecessary. Unnecessary.
- 59:29Speaker 3: So after basically this takes up the biggest chunk of
- 59:36Speaker 3: the reunion, and again, they don't see eye to eye.
- 59:41Speaker 3: Harry says that they broke up in Australia. She says
- 59:44Speaker 3: that they didn't and that she's got the proof, but
- 59:47Speaker 3: we don't see the proof. So hey, babe, show the
- 59:49Speaker 3: proof if you want to. Then they bring out the
- 59:52Speaker 3: mentors and it's like a blip, right? Cause I'm like
- 59:56Speaker 3: looking at the time. I'm like, again, I'm looking at
- 59:58Speaker 3: the time and how far we've got left. And I'm like, okay,
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: so now they're bringing out the mentors. And I'm like
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: thinking again, I'm like, Oh my girl, Sam is not
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: going to get any time to talk about this. Cause
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: that's really what I wanted to hear. And so the
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: mentors come out and Sonny is just, it's, he's on
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: another level.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: He's the only one who I actually think they're real friends.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, listen, like he, Amanda said, like, she's
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: only been friends with Harry since he, you know, was
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: in the process of losing his dad. So that's only
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: been within the last couple of years. Sonny, we know
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Harry is the godfather to his children, like, and he
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: spends time with him. So yeah, this guy does know him.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: Sonny calls the women classless. And he kind of reiterates
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: what we've kind of talked about earlier on is that
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: these women did know what they were signing up for
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: and they're all kind of, you know, playing this game
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: of like not knowing. Georgia says that Harry was and
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: does want to get married and Sonny and Amber kind
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: of start to go at it because he's like, he
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: didn't cheat on you. Like the word cheating and like,
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: he's just really bumping up against that. I did go
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: to Sonny's Instagram last night when I was looking at
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: things and he's getting railed in the comments for standing
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: up for Harry.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I want to take us back to remember that clip
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: we talked about in an episode where they're interviewing Harry
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: and the mentors and Sonny is flat out.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Do you remember this?
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: He said, absolutely. I did not like Harry's choice. Flat out.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Before this is ever, before the finale ever aired, before
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: this reunion is filmed, Sonny is seen.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Putting it out there exactly how he says.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: So I expected nothing less from him in this moment.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: And when I say he's the only one that is
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: a clear friend for me, they have clearly been boys
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: for some time because this man goes to bat for Harry,
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: just like you would expect your best friend to.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: To do. And I just appreciate the way Sonny calls
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: it as, as it is. You know what I mean?
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: This is where I start to get like discrepancies in
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: my own brain about like, was Amber being overly produced
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: with all of this stuff, saying this, the marriage, the cheating,
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: all of these things. And Sonny is literally like in
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: two seconds, setting her straight. Like, Nah, y'all broke up.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: You don't get to do that to my boy. It just, I,
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: like the brutal honesty is what I can sit for.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: And I'm not at all downplaying what Amber experienced. I
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: don't at all want to do that. But I just
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: like how Sonny is like, nope, no, we're not going
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: to say something that it wasn't.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: I just feel like his comments don't hold a lot
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: of weight because they negated to say that this marriage
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: was not legally binding.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Exactly. And you could have called it.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: By the way, there's other shows out there where the
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: marriage portion of the show is not legally binding. And
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: they just proceed to say throughout the series, trial marriage.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: There's ways to go about this, but they were going
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: for the shock factor. Yeah.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: And that's why they did it. And Mary was in
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: the title. So... Anyways, they wrap it up.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: Harry says that he does not consider this experience a failure.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: And as they say goodbye, like I said, Amber goes
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: and takes off her ring and throws it at Harry
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: and says, here's your fucking ring.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Go fuck yourself. And Harry laughs it off.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: And he's like, And she says something like, this is it.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Like, don't ever talk to me again. Like, we're done.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: We're done. He's like, leave me alone. Like, to her.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: Do you know what we didn't talk about before we
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: wrap this up? Something that we did not even mention
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: this episode. We're discussing the influencer that he was filming
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: with in Australia.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Did you catch this?
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Amber puts him on blast and says, who is your
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: current girlfriend?
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: Yeah, well, he does say it at the end. He
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: doesn't say who it is. But she does say that
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: this influencer that he was filming with in Australia is
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: the girl that he is dating now. But they say,
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: he says when they were in Australia, she has a boyfriend,
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: this girl, this influencer.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: You heard that, right?
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: But she, when she was going off about the influencer,
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: even back in the middle of the reunion, when she's
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: going off about this influencer, that's when she makes a
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: point to say, who is your current girlfriend?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Right. She says it right then and there. And I
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: looked it up, by the way. I looked it up,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: by the way. Did you? No. So it's not confirmed.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: It will be in the next 24 hours. I'm sure.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: It's rumored to be this Australian influencer named Olivia something
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: or other.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: She's very pretty. Shocker. She's a brunette. Shocker.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: So yeah, so the cameras are done rolling. Everybody's leaving.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: And then on the screen, it says, after cameras stopped rolling,
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: Harry had more to say. This felt, again, badly produced.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Again, it just was, it felt like an afterthought. And
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: that's because it was.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: And it says Harry has, you know, he says he
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: has gratitude for this.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Even though things.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: Got fiery, you know, at the reunion, he says he
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: doesn't regret this experience. And then he says he found
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: the perfect person who he thinks he wants to become
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: a husband for. And he kind of like leaves it
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: at that. The host doesn't press, doesn't get any more information.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: So yeah, we're going to be seeing Harry clearly going
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: Instagram official or red carpet official with somebody very soon.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: If it's this Olivia girl that it's rumored to be
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: on the internet. But yeah, so that's the reunion. I
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: would love to hear what other people thought of it.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: 8445 almost. Leave us a message with your thoughts and
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: opinions on it. If you have questions for any of
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: the girls, leave us a message and you'll probably actually
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: get your question asked correctly or we'll play your voicemail
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: for them. So if you have a question for any
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: of the girls on Harry's cast, 8445 almost.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Send it to us.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: We are going to do this right because there's clearly
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: a lot more that we have to talk about with
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: these women. Even though this reunion was taped this week,
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: I still think there's a lot more out there.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: I sent you a text. We'll end on this.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: The message I sent you last night that Harry posted
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: on his socials. Do you want to open that up
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: and read what he had to say?
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: All right. The message that Harry posted reads, Just want
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: to say something regarding the reunion. It became incredibly heated
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: and was filled with unchecked chaos. And unfortunately, there were
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: moments where it felt impossible to have a real conversation
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: or even finish a sentence. I can handle having rings
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: thrown at my face. I can handle being stood over
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: and screamed at. I can handle the name calling, the contradictions,
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: and the belittling. But bringing my dad's death into an
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: argument as a way to hurt me or create some
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: sort of moment crossed a line. Losing my dad is
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: something I'm still navigating. Using that loss against me was
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: incredibly hurtful, and it is disrespect I will never accept
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: or stand for. It's unfortunate that this journey had to
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: end this way. I don't wish negativity on anyone involved,
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: and I genuinely... hope that we can all move forward
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: from this. Thank you, Sunny Henty, for being a real
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: friend to me in that moment and for trying to
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: make sure I had the opportunity to speak.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't even get into that grief comment and stuff,
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: but Deanna is going to be talking with some of
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: the ladies. And so maybe we can get some clarification.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: I'm sure they've all watched the reunion. They've seen the
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: online video. you know, communication and discussion. So I can't
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: wait to dive into this. This has been fun. Again,
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: I did like this show. I didn't like the reunion,
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: but I did like this show. I don't know with
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: a show like this if you get a season two,
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: which kind of is the frustrating aspect of something like this.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: I ask you that because everybody's saying season one, season
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: one reunion, this. Are we anticipating a rollover show? Are
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: we anticipating?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Let's marry Amber. I don't think so. I don't think so.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: I think that Harry could possibly get another show, but
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: then it's not let's marry Harry.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Let's marry. live life with Harry or something. I don't know.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: But I don't foresee Amber getting a show after this.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: Do I think Amber could be on TV again like
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: her cousin and get herself on another show? Yeah, I
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: do see that happening. But I'd like to hear from her.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: what she feels about reality TV, how she is feeling
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: about the idea of marriage in general after this experience,
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: since we know that she was divorced before coming into this.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: But yeah, Deanna, this has been so fun.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: And I hope we get to do another show in
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: the future. But this has been Let's Marry Harry season one.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Who knows if there will be more?
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: But yeah, stay tuned.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Like I said, Deanna will be talking with some of
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: the ladies on the show. And leave us a comment.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: Leave us your questions for the ladies.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: 844-5-ALMOST. We'll be back soon.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: Bye.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Bye.
