  Speaker 1: of faith. Sometimes feel ashamed to admit we're struggling fear.

  Speaker 1: who are right standing with the Lord, we are all

  Speaker 1: okay with that. But there's other people who are fearful

  Speaker 1: of that because they have yet to get engaged with

  Speaker 1: the Body of Christ, they have yet to trust in

  Speaker 1: the Lord, they have yet to figure out for themselves

  Speaker 1: what are they going to do in their own life,

  Speaker 1: and they're living in fear. And some people who are
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: religious will say, well, if you know, if you're in fear,
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: that means you don't have faith, and I don't know
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: about that. Let's just see what the scripture says about
• 7:33
  Speaker 1: the question, is fear a lack of faith? Amen? I
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: always default to the scripture. That's my authority, man. And
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: if it's not your authority, amen, just you know, respectfully listening,

  Speaker 1: and maybe God will teach you something or enlighten you

  Speaker 1: in some areas where you're in a dark place. I

  Speaker 1: know I've been in dark places before, and I relied

  Speaker 1: on the word of God and the light of Christ

  Speaker 1: to teach me and to show me the direction to go.

  Speaker 1: And God has never failed me through his word. His

  Speaker 1: word is always relevant, always true, and all that. So

  Speaker 1: I have no complaints. And man, God is powerful in

  Speaker 1: chapter eleven, verse twenty eight. The Bible says, as a

  Speaker 1: matter of fact, the Lord is saying, this is a

  Speaker 1: quote directly from the Lord Jesus. Come to me, all

  Speaker 1: who are weary and heavily burdened by religious rituals that
• 8:38
  Speaker 1: provide no peace, and I Jesus will give you rest.

  Speaker 1: Refreshing your souls with salvation is the amplified version. Matthew,
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: chapter eleven, verse number twenty eight. Jesus is inviting us.

  Speaker 1: This is an invitation from the Lord himself, right, an

  Speaker 1: invitation from God himself through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amazing

  Speaker 1: invitation because he knew at that point that people were
• 9:13
  Speaker 1: walking in fear. Amen. And there's something about fear and
• 9:19
  Speaker 1: the love of God that just doesn't connect. It's not harmonious.

  Speaker 1: If you have fear of life, you have fear of death. Amen,

  Speaker 1: then you might want to check the faith or your
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: faith might want to check what you're believing in, who
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: you're following. Amen. Because for a believer, it's not that
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: we are out there committing suicide trying to get to
• 9:43
  Speaker 1: the Lord. It's not like we're out there I want
• 9:46
  Speaker 1: to die today, is No, that's not the case. We're
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: sober minded. We're not kind of like mentally unstable. The
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: Bible says, if you're unstable, right, teetering and tottering with
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: waves of belief systems and all this other stuff, an
• 10:00
  Speaker 1: unstable man that's what you will become. Or unstable woman.

  Speaker 1: If you're double minded, you're gonna be unstable in all
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: your ways, as scripture says. So life has a way
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: of trying to overwhelm us, right, and when overwhelmed is
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: knocking on our door. A lot of times, fear, the
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: cousin of overwhelming situations is knocking as well. You have deadlines,
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: you have family struggles, you have trauma, you have illness sometimes,
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: and even you could get ministry fatigue. That's the thing, right,
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: getting tired of doing things in the ministry that all
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: can leave us mentally exhausted and emotionally like out there
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: as believers, we feel ashamed. And I wrote this already
• 10:50
  Speaker 1: in the description, we feel ashamed to admit that we're
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: struggling because people feel like, never let them see the sweat,
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: don't let them see the struggle. In other words, don't
• 11:01
  Speaker 1: be human. I don't understand where that concept comes from. Well,
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: I know kind of where that concept comes from. It
• 11:07
  Speaker 1: comes from corporate America. Corporate America tells you, I'll never
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: let your never let your clients see you nervous, sweating, afraid,
• 11:16
  Speaker 1: just be bold in front of your clients. It's almost
• 11:19
  Speaker 1: like faked to your make it kind of mentality. And
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: that shouldn't be in a body of Christ. We need
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: to be real with God. He knows us, He created us.
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: Well purpose He gave us emotions. Need to be real
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: with what God has given us. Amen. Fearing is a
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: lack of faith. People don't admit that they're struggling. So
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: the truth is, God never intended for us to carry
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: our burdens alone. God never intended for us to carry
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: our fears alone. God never intended for us to do
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: anything alone. Because I don't know about you, but when
• 11:58
  Speaker 1: I do things alone and I get into my I
• 12:00
  Speaker 1: a lone space, and I get like to private, or
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: I get too self sufficient and self reliant, a lot
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: of things go wrong, Amen, because I'm not meant to

  Speaker 1: do things by myself, and you're not meant to do
• 12:14
  Speaker 1: things on your own as well. But the one I
• 12:16

  Speaker 1: and mercy and power and authority. Right, we are children

  Speaker 1: of an almighty Father who reigns supreme right. We have
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: a Father in heaven who reigns Supreme, who sent his
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: only begotten son, God sold loved the world that he
• 12:55
  Speaker 1: sent a savior, Jesus to Christ. And then when Jesus
• 13:00
  Speaker 1: has completed his mission on this side of eternity, on
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: this earth, then he has sended back to the right
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: hand of the throne and sent one just like him
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: to live with all those whosoevers who called upon the
• 13:15
  Speaker 1: name of the Lord to be saved. And that spirit,
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, is
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: living alive inside of every single one of us who
• 13:25
  Speaker 1: believe in Christ. Now, to a lot of people, that's
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: far fetched. They don't want to believe that. They say
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: that can't be. And the problem with that is that
• 13:37
  Speaker 1: we try to humanize God as if he has boundaries.
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: You know, God the Father has no boundaries. He only
• 13:46
  Speaker 1: places boundaries over his word. And as a matter of fact,
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: that scripture says his word never returns to him void, powerless.
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: His word always has power, and his word is there
• 13:58
  Speaker 1: to achieve what his word is meant to achieve in
• 14:01
  Speaker 1: your life and in my life. Brother Frank, I see you,

  Speaker 1: And people say that the souls where we do all

  Speaker 1: our decision making. Amen, good decisions, bad decisions. And also

  Speaker 1: the spirit of God. I believe in the creation story,

  Speaker 1: meaning that God breathed life into us to the first man, Adam,
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: he was made from the dirt. God created first man
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: from the dirt and breathed life into his nostrils. And
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: it seems to me that he wasn't Adam, wasn't a baby.
• 15:30
  Speaker 1: Adam was a man already God created him to be.
• 15:35
  Speaker 1: So we have a wholeness of who we are as beings,
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: whole beings, God sees our anxiety. God sees our struggles.

  Speaker 1: God sees our frailty, and God sees our fears. Right,
• 15:52
  Speaker 1: he knows when you're depressed. He knows when you're up,
• 15:55
  Speaker 1: he knows when you're down, he knows when you're happy,
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: he knows when you're sad. No, he's not saying us.
• 16:00
  Speaker 1: He's the living, holy, righteous, loving God who sees every
• 16:05
  Speaker 1: single thing that we need and provides for every single
• 16:07
  Speaker 1: one of those needs. That's jairah amen yahweh. God provides
• 16:15
  Speaker 1: and he offers healing. And the way God heals us
• 16:20
  Speaker 1: is through his presence. When God shows up, when the
• 16:23
  Speaker 1: spirit of the Lord this freedom, there's liberty, there's healing,
• 16:26
  Speaker 1: there's grace, there's mercy, there's power, this authority, there's joy,
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: there's peace. And when you want peace, I love to
• 16:34
  Speaker 1: be at peace. I have peace with God because the
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: Peace of God, the Prince of Peace, came down and
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: offered us this eternal life and eternal peace. So when
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: fear tries to knock on our hearts and our door,
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: our mind, we know that we have the Prince of
• 16:53
  Speaker 1: Peace that could open that door and say no, there's
• 16:56
  Speaker 1: no fear here. Fear doesn't live here anymore. Amen. So

  Speaker 1: when you're fearful of something, I don't think that. I
• 17:03
  Speaker 1: don't think personally that's a lack of faith. I think
• 17:05
  Speaker 1: it's just a situation in our lives, in our mindset
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: that needs to change, because fear has no place in
• 17:15
  Speaker 1: a god fearing man or woman. A man, we are
• 17:20
  Speaker 1: not given the spirit of fear. But if a sound mind, power, right,
• 17:26
  Speaker 1: boldness his word, God's word, and even through wise counseling,
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: right Christian counseling I prefer, and support in a supportive community,
• 17:40
  Speaker 1: all those things help us to not be fearful. Life
• 17:44
  Speaker 1: is going to happen whether you believe in the Lord
• 17:47
  Speaker 1: or not. Right, isn't it just for God when he reigns,
• 17:51
  Speaker 1: he reigns on the righteous and unrighteous. That's up to
• 17:55
  Speaker 1: God a man. Sometimes in some areas physically right scientifically,

  Speaker 1: with the weather, it could be raining right across the
• 18:03
  Speaker 1: street and not raining on your block, they say in
• 18:06
  Speaker 1: Puerto Rico, and then some parts of flood of that happens,
• 18:09
  Speaker 1: they'll see it pouring right across the street and we're
• 18:12
  Speaker 1: not getting wet. But in God's you know, realm and
• 18:16
  Speaker 1: his way of doing things, when it rains, it will
• 18:19
  Speaker 1: rain on the just and unjust. Everybody is going to
• 18:22
  Speaker 1: feel the rain of God. That's another that's a figure
• 18:27
  Speaker 1: of speech, trying to get you somewhere. So our health
• 18:31
  Speaker 1: mentally as whole beings, body, soul, and spirit needs to
• 18:36
  Speaker 1: be guided and guarded and protected. So you might have
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: anxious thoughts that may be weighing you down, and those
• 18:45
  Speaker 1: anxious thoughts that weigh you down can cause you to
• 18:48
  Speaker 1: get into fear. And fear to me is the opposite
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: of what God is doing in our lives, the opposite
• 18:56
  Speaker 1: of God's love, because the Bible says that perfect love,
• 19:00
  Speaker 1: the perfect love of God, cast out all fears. So
• 19:03
  Speaker 1: we're fearful. It's not that you have a lack of faith.
• 19:06
  Speaker 1: You're fearful because you're not communicating with the one who
• 19:10
  Speaker 1: doesn't want you to fear anymore. God says he will
• 19:12
  Speaker 1: be with us. He will never forsake us, he will
• 19:14
  Speaker 1: never leave us, he will never abandon us, he will
• 19:16
  Speaker 1: never put us to shame. Right, God's word says he
• 19:19
  Speaker 1: will not harm us. He has a plan for us
• 19:21
  Speaker 1: as a plan for his children Israel. He has a
• 19:24
  Speaker 1: plan for his children all around the earth, and it's
• 19:27
  Speaker 1: a perfect plan. And the purpose that God has for
• 19:29
  Speaker 1: you and the purpose that God has for me is perfect.
• 19:33
  Speaker 1: Or we have to do is show up sometimes and
• 19:35
  Speaker 1: be available to that plan and for that purpose. So
• 19:38
  Speaker 1: if you've been, if you are honest with God, Amen,
• 19:42
  Speaker 1: and you're dealing with fear, he knows where to take you.
• 19:46
  Speaker 1: He knows where to where to get you to a
• 19:49
  Speaker 1: man a place of safety because he's our savior. Right,
• 19:52
  Speaker 1: He's going to continue to save us, because He's going
• 19:54
  Speaker 1: to continue to let us know that we are more
• 19:58
  Speaker 1: than conquerors through Him who gives us the strength. So

  Speaker 1: if you have ancious thoughts that are weighing you down,
• 20:06
  Speaker 1: just be honest with God about it. Be honest with
• 20:09
  Speaker 1: someone who house who's filled up with the Holy Spirit
• 20:12
  Speaker 1: of God, because it's about your mental and all your
• 20:18
  Speaker 1: emotional struggles. Right. Basically, that fear rest is in fear
• 20:23
  Speaker 1: rest in our struggles. But God, through the Lord Jesus,
• 20:28
  Speaker 1: wants to give us rest. And then that rest, we
• 20:31
  Speaker 1: won't have the same struggles that we have without God.
• 20:35
  Speaker 1: Without God, those struggles will linger and they will continue
• 20:38
  Speaker 1: to manifest and they will continue to be there. But
• 20:41
  Speaker 1: when God gives us this rest. It's going to refresh
• 20:46
  Speaker 1: your soul with salvation because we're saved and being saved
• 20:51
  Speaker 1: right on a day to day. It's not This is
• 20:54
  Speaker 1: not like you say a prayer one time and then
• 20:57
  Speaker 1: you go back to your regular life. No, you say
• 21:00
  Speaker 1: prayer every day, and your life will never be the same.

  Speaker 1: When you're connected to the source of power, to the
• 21:06
  Speaker 1: source of love, to the source of grace, and to
• 21:08
  Speaker 1: the source of mercy. We're connected to the source of
• 21:11
  Speaker 1: eternal life. We're connected to the Savior, a man through
• 21:14
  Speaker 1: his word and by his spirit. So I'm going to
• 21:19
  Speaker 1: leave you with a challenge. What steps can you take
• 21:22
  Speaker 1: today towards healing right, healing yourself from a fearful voice
• 21:31
  Speaker 1: that's lingering in your mind and your head, a voice
• 21:34
  Speaker 1: that's trying to reap fear in your life. Amen? What
• 21:39
