- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellancamps at Tamra Judge. Hi, guys,
- 0:13Speaker 1: welcome to this week's two Teas in a Pod with myself,
- 0:16Speaker 1: Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra Judge. We are so excited to
- 0:20Speaker 1: have on Lue Angels. I know so much has happened
- 0:24Speaker 1: in just the lasts with her. I mean, the last
- 0:29Speaker 1: week has been a lot. Last week has been filled
- 0:31Speaker 1: with New York actually Land stories. Yeah, I mean it's
- 0:34Speaker 1: filling up our feeds, so we may as well talk
- 0:37Speaker 1: straight to the source. So we're excited to have her on.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Let's bring her in. Hey beautiful, Hi girls, how are you.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm fine, great, Actually you are. So much
- 0:51Speaker 1: has happened just in the last twenty four hours. I know,
- 0:54Speaker 1: I can't every time we were just talking about it,
- 0:58Speaker 1: We're like, before you him on, we we asked people
- 1:01Speaker 1: to send in questions and whatnot, but I'm like, we
- 1:03Speaker 1: don't even need people's questions because it's our entire news
- 1:06Speaker 1: feed this filled with you in New York. What's going on? Okay,
- 1:12Speaker 1: first thing is this what's going on with this whole
- 1:15Speaker 1: reboot and the recasting. It was all of a variety
- 1:18Speaker 1: from Andy's statements. Right, well, I mean, you know, basically
- 1:23Speaker 1: I found out at the same time you guys did.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I hate when the announcement is like via daily mail
- 1:29Speaker 1: or something like. Well, now, I mean actually we found
- 1:35Speaker 1: out just before, I mean literally the same day. Um,
- 1:38Speaker 1: so they call you guys, they call you guys individually. Yeah,
- 1:43Speaker 1: they called us all first. Yeah, so that's good. We
- 1:45Speaker 1: got a call saying this is what's happening. And so,
- 1:49Speaker 1: you know, I am I gotta say that. I don't
- 1:53Speaker 1: think it's a bad idea. I think it's kind of
- 1:56Speaker 1: cool to see a younger diverse cast in New York.
- 1:59Speaker 1: But I like the idea of keeping the O G
- 2:00Speaker 1: s because yeah, I think it's amazing. I think it's great.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You know, I agree. Well, can you confirm this because
- 2:09Speaker 1: now I just read I mean, and this is just
- 2:10Speaker 1: such a viable source from Radar Online. Oh god, that
- 2:15Speaker 1: that they the o G cast is saying that they're
- 2:18Speaker 1: not gonna want to do it because the pay is
- 2:20Speaker 1: less than a hundred thousand dollars that they will Um
- 2:24Speaker 1: that you already have signed a deal with E Network,
- 2:28Speaker 1: so you're not going to be able to do the reboot.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I cannot confirm that. Oh congratulation, Yeah I cannot. I did,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I said, I cannot compline. Now, I know drinking my pose.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Now it's so good. I gotta get you girls some
- 2:48Speaker 1: of this. Yeah, so we'll tell me about that. Oh girl,
- 2:52Speaker 1: it's so delicious. You know, God knows I created this.
- 2:55Speaker 1: You know, I've been you know, I've been dealing with
- 2:57Speaker 1: sobriety for years now. And I created this with my daughter, Um,
- 3:01Speaker 1: who's been sober for a couple of over a couple
- 3:03Speaker 1: of years now, and so we there was nothing on
- 3:06Speaker 1: the market that we really liked, so um, so we
- 3:09Speaker 1: decided to create our own. You know, when you go
- 3:12Speaker 1: out for a drink, you know, if you don't want
- 3:14Speaker 1: to drink, you know, the mock tails, you're at the
- 3:15Speaker 1: mercy of a muck tail artist, right. It's like either
- 3:18Speaker 1: sweet or it's not what you want um, or you
- 3:20Speaker 1: order a peria and people are like, oh, you're not drinking,
- 3:22Speaker 1: you know. So I wanted to kind of take the
- 3:24Speaker 1: stigma away from that and be I like, I'll have
- 3:27Speaker 1: a those and people like, wonder what that is? So,
- 3:29Speaker 1: so what it is? It's a non alcoholic sparkling rose.
- 3:33Speaker 1: It looks just like rose. Um. Even the bottle, you know,
- 3:38Speaker 1: could be mistaken for a bottle of rose. Look at
- 3:40Speaker 1: the color. It's perfection and it's filled with beautiful ingredients. Um.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So it's not whine. I took the alcoholic. It's wine.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It's built from the ground up with amazing ingredients, you know,
- 3:52Speaker 1: vanilla oak, natural tannin's, rosemary, damiana, things that are good
- 3:57Speaker 1: for the nervous system. So, and it's delicious. It's low calorie,
- 4:01Speaker 1: and you know it kind of it really kind of
- 4:04Speaker 1: mimics the taste of wine. Um. And so I'm very
- 4:07Speaker 1: proud of it. Um. I just got distribution on it.
- 4:09Speaker 1: So I'm thrilled um with bet Max. So, uh, don't
- 4:15Speaker 1: want to buy something to drink now? Was the point.
- 4:18Speaker 1: That's that's great. I would love something. Where do you
- 4:20Speaker 1: buy it? You can get it to drink fosa dot com.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And you know, soon it'll be out there for you know,
- 4:25Speaker 1: out in California and that'll be everywhere, Beth. You'll be
- 4:28Speaker 1: in bed though soon. Well, well, we we drink one
- 4:31Speaker 1: time of the week during our pod, but we feel
- 4:34Speaker 1: multiple pods a week, so today we could really use
- 4:37Speaker 1: these because we're not we're not drinking today. We're trying
- 4:40Speaker 1: to keep it. You know, we drank the other night
- 4:42Speaker 1: at the Heart Music Awards and we're still recovering. We
- 4:47Speaker 1: saw we actually saw one of your ex cast members there,
- 4:50Speaker 1: Bethany was there. Oh really yeah, do you still talk
- 4:53Speaker 1: to her? I don't. I don't. She kind of moved
- 4:56Speaker 1: on from the show and all of us, and you know, yeah,
- 4:58Speaker 1: she didn't talk. She didn't talked to didn't even we
- 5:02Speaker 1: didn't make an effort to see her. Well, what's not uncoming?
- 5:05Speaker 1: We got a little bit like as we're there, we looked,
- 5:08Speaker 1: We're like, okay, now let's check on the podcast charts. Okay,
- 5:10Speaker 1: our podcast our numbers are higher. I was like, we
- 5:13Speaker 1: are such petty spies. We're like we're sitting in front
- 5:16Speaker 1: of her. I mean, this is the level of now
- 5:20Speaker 1: just getting but okay, but back onto talking about fose
- 5:24Speaker 1: and that kind of thing. Do you think that being
- 5:26Speaker 1: on the show helped or hindered your relationship with our
- 5:30Speaker 1: alcohol or do you think it would have been the
- 5:31Speaker 1: same record? No, I I don't think it's a show
- 5:34Speaker 1: at all. In fact, I filmed the Ultimate Girls Trip.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I wasn't drinking the last season of the Housewives, I
- 5:40Speaker 1: wasn't drinking, so I go, you know, listen, it's one
- 5:44Speaker 1: day at a time, um, and that's what it's all about.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It's you know, progress, not perfection. And you know I'm
- 5:49Speaker 1: only human, um, you know. UM, you know I have
- 5:53Speaker 1: my slips like everybody, and you know, my ultimate goal
- 5:56Speaker 1: is to not drink. And that's why I made the
- 5:59Speaker 1: fose um so that I have I have an option,
- 6:03Speaker 1: um that I like. Uh. So you know, like I said,
- 6:06Speaker 1: it's um, it's one day at a time. And no,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I don't think the Housewives. No, I mean, you can
- 6:12Speaker 1: drink or not drink on the Housewives. God knows, there's
- 6:14Speaker 1: plenty of drinks around on the show. But if you
- 6:17Speaker 1: don't want to drink, you don't have to drink. So
- 6:20Speaker 1: nobody's forcing you. They're not forcing you. But for me,
- 6:22Speaker 1: I felt like I got my liquid courage if I
- 6:25Speaker 1: had a few drinks. And then of course if you
- 6:28Speaker 1: if you had more than that, then that's when you're
- 6:30Speaker 1: just like a big jerk on the show. That's how
- 6:32Speaker 1: I was. Anyways, So for me, I always because I
- 6:35Speaker 1: feel like I get like a little bit shy when
- 6:37Speaker 1: the camera comes around at first I do I swear,
- 6:40Speaker 1: and then if I have a few drinks and I
- 6:42Speaker 1: feel like the words flow out of my mouth, where
- 6:44Speaker 1: if I'm not drinking, I second guess everything I'm going
- 6:46Speaker 1: to say and I get a little like nervous in
- 6:48Speaker 1: your Yeah, really interesting for me. I feel more in
- 6:51Speaker 1: my game when I don't drink. Oh that's awesome. Yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'm you know, I'm not one of those people that
- 6:57Speaker 1: needs to drink to be social. Luckily, you know, I'm
- 7:00Speaker 1: I I'm grateful for that because, um, because I can
- 7:05Speaker 1: have fun without drinking. And you know, even the girls
- 7:08Speaker 1: on the Ultimate Girls Trip they're like, I can't believe
- 7:10Speaker 1: you're not drinking, and you know you and you're the
- 7:12Speaker 1: most fun. So that was nice. Who would you say
- 7:16Speaker 1: you had the most fun with on on Girls Trap?
- 7:20Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, probably with Kyle Kyle. Uh. You know,
- 7:25Speaker 1: Kenya Kyle cracks me up. She's the hoop. I was
- 7:28Speaker 1: not expecting that. I was expecting kind of the you know,
- 7:31Speaker 1: kind of prissy and to Paris somehow, Um, I don't
- 7:35Speaker 1: know her that well. So um, I was pleasantly surprised
- 7:38Speaker 1: because she's like cool and down to earth and very
- 7:41Speaker 1: sweet and and very funny. UM and I really liked
- 7:45Speaker 1: um you know, Teresa Jude Ice and and Kenya, who
- 7:50Speaker 1: I didn't know at all, who I heard was like
- 7:52Speaker 1: the biggest diva. UM. And I was thinking, well, you
- 7:55Speaker 1: met your match and she was great. She was really
- 8:00Speaker 1: um really you know interesting, I thought. And um, and
- 8:05Speaker 1: could turn turn on the charm when she needed to.
- 8:07Speaker 1: And you know, obviously she got along with some others
- 8:10Speaker 1: than if there's someone that you could have probably done
- 8:14Speaker 1: without hanging out with me, well listen, you know, um,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna plead the fifth on that one. I will
- 8:23Speaker 1: have to say, your body is rocking. And I'm like,
- 8:27Speaker 1: so Teddy and I are both obviously in the fitness industry.
- 8:29Speaker 1: What is your workout like? Because that that body you
- 8:32Speaker 1: don't get just from not eating. You have no I eat.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I mean I everything. I'm I just you know, I do.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I have my own routine. You know, I'll run one day,
- 8:41Speaker 1: one day, I'll do yoga. Um. I do like my
- 8:44Speaker 1: own workout. Um, you know, and I'm just really active
- 8:47Speaker 1: and I have a good metabolism and I have a
- 8:49Speaker 1: Mediterranean diet. You know, I really don't do curbs hardly. Um.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And you know, I just don't mix a lot of
- 8:57Speaker 1: foods and you know, protein and it's just healthy diet
- 9:00Speaker 1: and you know, and listen, um, not drinking it always
- 9:03Speaker 1: helps with that too. Absolutely. First throughout all your years
- 9:20Speaker 1: on the show, what would you say your highlight and
- 9:24Speaker 1: your biggest regret? You know, I'm not really somebody who
- 9:29Speaker 1: lives with regrets because I feel like it's an opportunity
- 9:32Speaker 1: to like change something about yourself and grow. Uh. And
- 9:36Speaker 1: I think that because of what we do when we
- 9:39Speaker 1: see ourselves on the show and it's like I can't
- 9:42Speaker 1: believe I said that, or I can't believe I wore that,
- 9:45Speaker 1: or I can't believe that happened to me. You know,
- 9:48Speaker 1: I look at it all as an opportunity to grow
- 9:49Speaker 1: and to make oneself better. You know. Um, you know
- 9:53Speaker 1: I fell into a bush in Mexico. You know, I
- 9:56Speaker 1: got into trouble and pump Beach and got arrested. You know,
- 9:58Speaker 1: I don't regret that, you don't. For me, those were
- 10:01Speaker 1: opportunities to grow and change in my life for the better.
- 10:04Speaker 1: So I can't stay have any regrets. I mean, I
- 10:07Speaker 1: feel like, you know, the favorite parts for me are
- 10:09Speaker 1: like some of the trips we did to to the
- 10:11Speaker 1: to Marrakesh for example. Uh, that was a fantastic trip.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I you know, I got to sing with Natalie Cole
- 10:17Speaker 1: on on our show and now and not at least
- 10:19Speaker 1: you know past, and you know, there's just been I've
- 10:22Speaker 1: got to create my music that I love. You know,
- 10:24Speaker 1: there's just been so many great opportunities that far to
- 10:27Speaker 1: me outweigh the negatives, even though I've gotten into some.
- 10:31Speaker 1: You know, I've gotten divorced on this show. You know,
- 10:34Speaker 1: you know, gotten married and divorced, and you know that's
- 10:37Speaker 1: what it's all about. You know, everybody goes through the
- 10:39Speaker 1: same stuff. How many total years were you on It's
- 10:44Speaker 1: now going to be fourteen and you were the first
- 10:48Speaker 1: housewife that ever, well we call it, got the Vicky
- 10:52Speaker 1: and then got your apple back. I think you're the
- 10:57Speaker 1: part time one year right, yeah, well yeah, one year.
- 10:59Speaker 1: But you know, and I was on every episode, so
- 11:01Speaker 1: call it what you want to call it, right, And
- 11:05Speaker 1: I was basically on every episode. It was you know,
- 11:08Speaker 1: you know how that contract stuff goes. Yes, I know, yeah,
- 11:12Speaker 1: you get that time. How are your kids doing? My
- 11:16Speaker 1: kids are great. Actually, my daughter is in Europe with
- 11:19Speaker 1: her father. Um, she's been in Switzerland. Another embarrass and
- 11:23Speaker 1: my son is in Brooklyn? So how old is how
- 11:26Speaker 1: old are they now? The seven? Oh my god, that
- 11:32Speaker 1: just gave me. Yeah you look amazing. Well I have
- 11:35Speaker 1: a thirty six year old, so well, girl, thank you.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I was very young. I was like five, that's kidding.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I have a two year old and you could tell.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I'm like tie, I'm like you do to sweet work though,
- 11:53Speaker 1: it's unbelievable I had. I had my first one at
- 11:56Speaker 1: eighteen and my second one my last one at thirty eight.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Having one was not easy. Well, and how well did
- 12:03Speaker 1: the youngest home stretch? I got one? Alan? Yeah, you're
- 12:10Speaker 1: you're you're on your way. How did your kids feel
- 12:14Speaker 1: about being kind of in the spotlight all of those years,
- 12:17Speaker 1: or you know, having the highlight on them or people
- 12:21Speaker 1: wanting to talk about you or the show and yeah, well,
- 12:23Speaker 1: you know it's not easy for kids. You know, they
- 12:25Speaker 1: just want you to be mom. You know. Uh, they
- 12:28Speaker 1: don't want to be sexy mom. They don't want to
- 12:30Speaker 1: be a mill They want you to be just be
- 12:32Speaker 1: mom m. But you know, uh that's not who I am.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I'm a show girl, you know, I'm I've been in
- 12:40Speaker 1: television way before Housewives. You know, I used to work
- 12:43Speaker 1: for Italian television. I was a TV star over there
- 12:46Speaker 1: and in Italy, and that's how I met my husband
- 12:49Speaker 1: in Switzerland, Um, and ended up marrying a French aristocrat,
- 12:53Speaker 1: you know, because I was living in Europe and I
- 12:55Speaker 1: had a career in television and you know it's uh,
- 12:58Speaker 1: you know been singing. I'm like, you know, I was
- 13:01Speaker 1: you know, I've been an entertainer for you know, quite
- 13:04Speaker 1: some time, and so house Wives was just a new
- 13:07Speaker 1: kind of platform that was so new. Um, we didn't know,
- 13:12Speaker 1: you know, what reality TV was really when we started
- 13:14Speaker 1: the show. Uh, the only thing reality was maybe The
- 13:17Speaker 1: Osbourne's and I didn't watch that because I just meant
- 13:22Speaker 1: and I think I think were I was around then too, um,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and so you know, it was it was a chance
- 13:30Speaker 1: to do something that I had never done before, and
- 13:32Speaker 1: it was more of like a da It was like, Okay,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I can try this, and um, little did I know
- 13:38Speaker 1: that it would take off the way it did. You know,
- 13:40Speaker 1: you were experted and it was like crazy. The first
- 13:44Speaker 1: two seasons was insane. It was like second the Sex
- 13:46Speaker 1: in the City meets Desperate Housewives in reality at a
- 13:49Speaker 1: certain point, you took over daytime television and the soaps
- 13:52Speaker 1: were getting canceled. And I remember we started the same
- 13:55Speaker 1: year one daytime, you know, and it was just crazy.
- 13:59Speaker 1: I missed those days. Write me to how do you
- 14:04Speaker 1: originally get cast? You know. I was in the Hampton's
- 14:08Speaker 1: and I was at a party and this UM woman
- 14:12Speaker 1: walked in and she's like, Hi, I'm Jill Zarin and
- 14:16Speaker 1: her Long Island accent. I've never met anybody like that
- 14:19Speaker 1: in my life, you know. At that point, I you know,
- 14:22Speaker 1: I grew up in Connecticut and um, and then I
- 14:25Speaker 1: lived in New York and then I moved to Europe.
- 14:26Speaker 1: So at that point, you know, I speak three languages,
- 14:29Speaker 1: and I've never met anybody from Long Island, you know,
- 14:32Speaker 1: like a local Long Island person, you know that from
- 14:35Speaker 1: like Mid Island. You know. Hi, I'm Jill Zarin, you know.
- 14:39Speaker 1: And I said, oh my god, I love her because
- 14:42Speaker 1: she was just so authentic and real and I just
- 14:45Speaker 1: loved her character, you know, and I wanted to know
- 14:48Speaker 1: her anyway. So we ended up hanging out like the
- 14:50Speaker 1: whole night, and then I she said to me, you know,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I'm thinking about doing this TV thing, but I don't
- 14:56Speaker 1: know if it's happening in et cetera. And I was
- 14:58Speaker 1: going to Europe on vacation at that point, and she goes,
- 15:01Speaker 1: and I go, here's my card, because I was actually
- 15:03Speaker 1: trying to do a TV show out in the Hampton's
- 15:05Speaker 1: for a local TV station, and I had a little
- 15:09Speaker 1: card and it was pink. It was a few shop
- 15:11Speaker 1: like whan on it and I gave it to her
- 15:14Speaker 1: and then I got an email from her saying the
- 15:16Speaker 1: show is happening and I think you're perfect. And so
- 15:19Speaker 1: basically I got, you know, cast by Jill Zarin and
- 15:23Speaker 1: the producers out in Hampton's. They came to meet me
- 15:26Speaker 1: when I came back from Europe and and the rest
- 15:29Speaker 1: is history. Oh my gosh. So I had a chance
- 15:31Speaker 1: to be with Jill at the Ultimate Girl's Trip to
- 15:35Speaker 1: I don't even know if that's the title yet, but yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 1: So we were together like eight days. And I've known
- 15:39Speaker 1: Jill for a long time, but not obviously like you
- 15:42Speaker 1: and um, I just love her. I love her. We
- 15:45Speaker 1: gave her a hard time a little bit because she
- 15:46Speaker 1: didn't stop talking and then she come outed her products
- 15:49Speaker 1: the entire time, but she really truly was like one
- 15:51Speaker 1: of the most supportive women on that trip, and like
- 15:54Speaker 1: even like my own products, my CVD company. She's like,
- 15:57Speaker 1: come on, Timber, let's talk about it. I'm gonna come
- 15:59Speaker 1: in you. We're going to talk. Like she's always pushing.
- 16:01Speaker 1: She's very empowering to women, that's for sure. Well, she's
- 16:05Speaker 1: great at selling stuff. I tell you, she used to
- 16:07Speaker 1: be a buyer I think at Macy's, Jill, So she
- 16:11Speaker 1: you know, she's very good at you know, marketing and
- 16:13Speaker 1: all that stuff, which is something I'm terrible of that stuff.
- 16:15Speaker 1: But she's she's really good at it, and she's doing
- 16:18Speaker 1: really well with her you know, all of her you know,
- 16:21Speaker 1: various her carpeting and her furniture and her candles and
- 16:25Speaker 1: you know, I'm sure you got to hear all about it. Oh,
- 16:28Speaker 1: I have all of them. I had to. I had
- 16:30Speaker 1: to get that. I had to get a second suitcase
- 16:32Speaker 1: to fit all my all this wag. But she she is.
- 16:37Speaker 1: She has a sweetheart. The one thing I have to
- 16:38Speaker 1: say is like she doesn't have a mean bone in
- 16:40Speaker 1: her body. Doesn't He doesn't. And that's what I like. Like,
- 16:43Speaker 1: I like all the quirkiness about her, but she has
- 16:45Speaker 1: zero mean unless you go after you know her peeps.
- 16:50Speaker 1: You know, yeah, I haven't seen that side of her,
- 16:52Speaker 1: but yeah, sweetheart. And do you think, you know, after
- 16:55Speaker 1: all of the successful years of New York, what do
- 16:59Speaker 1: you think it was that created last year to be differently?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Was it the same production company? Did anything else that change? Well, listen,
- 17:07Speaker 1: we had COVID, we had the Black Lives matters, we
- 17:12Speaker 1: had an election year. We couldn't go anywhere, We couldn't
- 17:16Speaker 1: invite any people. You know, there was no scene to
- 17:18Speaker 1: go to. You know, it was very restrictive. And we
- 17:23Speaker 1: had a small cast, you know, we had we were
- 17:26Speaker 1: just five and two of them are basically new. You know.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Leah was new last season before and then we had
- 17:32Speaker 1: Ebony who was brand new. So it was a lot.
- 17:34Speaker 1: It was a lot. It was a lot to carry
- 17:37Speaker 1: as a cast. And I think that, you know, that
- 17:40Speaker 1: weighed in on us hard and you know, everything we
- 17:42Speaker 1: were going through and um, you know, I just think
- 17:46Speaker 1: that that weighed heavily on our season and um, and
- 17:49Speaker 1: you know, you know how it is. You have a
- 17:50Speaker 1: good season, you have a bad season. Do you think, um,
- 17:54Speaker 1: losing Grenda hurt your season as well? You know, I
- 17:59Speaker 1: love to to us. So you know, I'd love to
- 18:01Speaker 1: see her come back. And and you know, I think
- 18:04Speaker 1: when whenever you lose somebody who who is an important
- 18:07Speaker 1: cast member and who's you know, who's beloved, I think
- 18:11Speaker 1: that you know, that's it's not gonna be helpful. That's
- 18:15Speaker 1: not that's a good way of putting it. It's not
- 18:16Speaker 1: helpful helpful. Yeah, Well, something that I've everywhere I'm reading,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I'm reading about you know, the reboot and then also
- 18:24Speaker 1: you know, the new people being brought in and how
- 18:26Speaker 1: potentially Ebony would stay. But they haven't mentioned Leah's name
- 18:30Speaker 1: on either side. Have they said anything to you know, Listen,
- 18:34Speaker 1: I have no idea what's going on in terms of
- 18:36Speaker 1: the O G cast that they're gonna keep, because you know,
- 18:39Speaker 1: you know what's going on with Ramona. How is Ramona?
- 18:43Speaker 1: And Ramona is good, she's living her best life and
- 18:45Speaker 1: asking right now. Um, And so I don't know, you know,
- 18:49Speaker 1: I'm not privy to who is actually coming back as
- 18:52Speaker 1: o GS. And I guess they're working on a whole
- 18:54Speaker 1: new cast, you know, for the other show. So, um,
- 18:57Speaker 1: I don't know exactly who's coming back. I know who
- 18:59Speaker 1: I I just have come back Yeah, I feel like
- 19:02Speaker 1: it's gonna be a long time. I think they're gonna
- 19:04Speaker 1: before they get the O G cast together. I think
- 19:06Speaker 1: they're going to concentrate on the rebit first, is what
- 19:09Speaker 1: I heard, right, But I think they should do it
- 19:11Speaker 1: the other way around, which I do too. Yeah, you
- 19:14Speaker 1: already have your cast of O G. Start them up
- 19:17Speaker 1: and then get together with the other ones. And we're
- 19:20Speaker 1: so obsessed with Peacock two. I mean, we watched Real
- 19:22Speaker 1: House Lives in Miami and and Girls Have both that
- 19:25Speaker 1: originally started on Peacock, and we loved the look of
- 19:28Speaker 1: the shows. I love their artwork, I love their music.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Like everything it's it is a little different. You guys
- 19:35Speaker 1: never even had a reunion last year, so so there's
- 19:38Speaker 1: some unfinished business, right, I mean, why did was the
- 19:41Speaker 1: ultimate reason? Covid or because of well, I think it
- 19:44Speaker 1: was the timing issue, and um, I think you know
- 19:47Speaker 1: that we kind of ended the season on a good note,
- 19:51Speaker 1: and I felt felt like, you know, as as it
- 19:53Speaker 1: was not, the ratings suffered. I felt like it was
- 19:56Speaker 1: just overkill. And and I think because of timing issues,
- 19:59Speaker 1: as you know, what was your ratings last year average?
- 20:03Speaker 1: I don't know, And like this seven hundreds. Well, yeah,
- 20:08Speaker 1: Orange County is like that right now, right, Yeah, we've
- 20:11Speaker 1: we've always been in the one point too, and so
- 20:14Speaker 1: it was. Yeah. But I think overall the ratings for
- 20:17Speaker 1: all the shows are kind of going down, but I
- 20:19Speaker 1: think they're they're coming back up because ultimately, when we
- 20:23Speaker 1: were going through the hardest times during COVID, sometimes you
- 20:27Speaker 1: don't necessarily need to see other people fight your I
- 20:31Speaker 1: was already like on edge, like if I couldn't get
- 20:33Speaker 1: a parking spot to go into Gelson's for my masks
- 20:36Speaker 1: time to go in, you know, like there. Well, that's
- 20:39Speaker 1: where I think, and I'm gonna be perfectly honest, that's
- 20:42Speaker 1: where I think that The Ultimate Girl's Ship works so
- 20:45Speaker 1: well is that it wasn't a big cat fight. It
- 20:48Speaker 1: was there was a lot of you know, kind of
- 20:50Speaker 1: old school kind of housewives moments where you know, we're
- 20:54Speaker 1: connecting as women were having fun. You know. I think
- 20:58Speaker 1: people want to see that, and I think that's one
- 20:59Speaker 1: of the reasons I think that worked so well that
- 21:02Speaker 1: that's why they want to bring the O G cast
- 21:04Speaker 1: back and not just start over. Yeah, I think you're right,
- 21:07Speaker 1: And who would you say, I mean, I know obviously
- 21:10Speaker 1: for Beverly Hills. Like I became good friends with a
- 21:13Speaker 1: good amount of the girls and still in but like
- 21:15Speaker 1: I found like one of my very best friends on
- 21:17Speaker 1: the show. We talked about sometimes and I see the
- 21:20Speaker 1: girls were a little bit more competitive, so there wasn't
- 21:24Speaker 1: that kind of dynamic. Is there somebody that you say,
- 21:27Speaker 1: I couldn't imagine my life without this person and you
- 21:29Speaker 1: met them through the show? Um? Well, you know, you know,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I really love Leah, you know, and she's new on
- 21:38Speaker 1: the show, and um, her and I get along very well,
- 21:41Speaker 1: and she's a cool chicken. Um, and she's very supportive.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Because I've known all the girls on the show since
- 21:47Speaker 1: since before the show. I mean I've known for years
- 21:50Speaker 1: um and Ramona I've known before the show as well.
- 21:54Speaker 1: So so nobody knew that, you know, except for Leah.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Are you still close with most of the wh in? Oh? Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: because you guys have been on a break for a while, right,
- 22:04Speaker 1: how long is it? Yeah, it's like going on a
- 22:06Speaker 1: year and a half. It's been. This whole shakeup didn't
- 22:12Speaker 1: really surprise you, you probably know, no, I mean it
- 22:15Speaker 1: surprised me about the second cast for sure, but in
- 22:17Speaker 1: a good way in a good way. I knew they
- 22:20Speaker 1: were recasting, but I had no idea, you know, that
- 22:22Speaker 1: they were going to go, you know, with two different
- 22:25Speaker 1: you know shows. Yeah, it's very interesting. I'm wondering if
- 22:28Speaker 1: they're going to do that with different franchises. I'm well, probably, probably,
- 22:34Speaker 1: especially when there's does well, yes, so let's let's see,
- 22:39Speaker 1: you know I again. I think one of the reasons
- 22:42Speaker 1: for that, um, for that for the two different types
- 22:47Speaker 1: shows is that you know, Ultimate Girls Trip really worked
- 22:50Speaker 1: so well for them in ratings wise, and so it
- 22:54Speaker 1: showed them that people really want to see the girls
- 22:57Speaker 1: that have been around a while, you know, and and
- 23:00Speaker 1: you know, and I think that's that was a very
- 23:02Speaker 1: important thing for the for them in terms of making
- 23:04Speaker 1: decision about our future on Housewives of New York, Is
- 23:08Speaker 1: there anyone you would not film with? Like, is there
- 23:10Speaker 1: one person that you're like, absolutely can't do it? Well?
- 23:15Speaker 1: I mean, you know, listen, um, I don't think um
- 23:18Speaker 1: Alex and Simon are gonna be back anytime. I don't
- 23:21Speaker 1: think that's that's that's a listener question. The listener wrote it.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I said, do you think that you were a little
- 23:29Speaker 1: judgmental of Alex McCord back in season one. I didn't
- 23:32Speaker 1: see back then, so I don't I was not. I
- 23:35Speaker 1: was not so judgmental about those two. I think, uh,
- 23:39Speaker 1: it was more judgmental about this two, Bethany. Maybe everybody was. Yeah,
- 23:43Speaker 1: everybody was. Okay, everybody you know obviously you don't you
- 23:45Speaker 1: don't talk to her them, right, No, No, there were
- 23:49Speaker 1: in Australia. Yeah, all right, we're back and okay, so
- 24:03Speaker 1: now we're getting into These are the questions that we
- 24:06Speaker 1: put up on Instagram. They're you know, sorry, nothing's off
- 24:10Speaker 1: limits on on the two chees in the pod. That's
- 24:13Speaker 1: why we're hashtag twatsu. But okay, if you had to
- 24:19Speaker 1: bring back one person a Viva or Alex and Simon,
- 24:23Speaker 1: who would have been um, oh gosh, I mean Aviva Aviva.
- 24:33Speaker 1: A lot of these questions have already been answered a
- 24:35Speaker 1: lot of people asking about how you stay in great
- 24:37Speaker 1: shape if you're still friends with Dorenda and Bethany. Um
- 24:41Speaker 1: are you? Did you say you're still friends with Dorenda? Yeah? Yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 1: yeah you are? Yeah. Yeah. Who do you talk to
- 24:46Speaker 1: the most of the well of the current cast or
- 24:49Speaker 1: the current o G s Probably Sonya. Yeah. And then
- 24:55Speaker 1: there was a bunch of stuff in the press recently
- 24:57Speaker 1: that um, you had drink and some of it we
- 25:00Speaker 1: don't know if it's true or not true that you
- 25:02Speaker 1: got thrown out of a bar, that you're doing all
- 25:04Speaker 1: these things. You know how the press just drags page six,
- 25:08Speaker 1: just loves to embellish. They love to embellish. Is there
- 25:12Speaker 1: anything you want to say on that? Well, you know, listen,
- 25:15Speaker 1: I like I said earlier, you know that's where I
- 25:17Speaker 1: made the fose because you know, um, you know, it's
- 25:20Speaker 1: it's one day the time. For me, it's it's progress,
- 25:23Speaker 1: not perfection. You know, my ultimate goal is not drinking.
- 25:26Speaker 1: But sometimes I slip and that was a little slip
- 25:28Speaker 1: for me. There you go, Yeah, yeah, it happens. It happens. Um.
- 25:35Speaker 1: And then well this, this was part of the question.
- 25:37Speaker 1: If you were to be stuck on a desert island
- 25:41Speaker 1: with either Dorenda or Bethany, who would it be? Oh,
- 25:46Speaker 1: definitely Dorenda. Okay. And then what is your biggest argument
- 25:57Speaker 1: you ever had on New York that like you still
- 26:00Speaker 1: think about from time to time, still haunts you, still
- 26:03Speaker 1: haunts you crazy. I mean, life is not a cat
- 26:10Speaker 1: all right? That is so iconic, Like I mean, I
- 26:16Speaker 1: thought her head was gonna pop off. I love when
- 26:19Speaker 1: you fell in the bushes because I was a bush
- 26:21Speaker 1: girl too. I fell in the bushes. You were you
- 26:24Speaker 1: cried in the crying and the buy was so drunk.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I was laughing. I was so drunk, and I was
- 26:29Speaker 1: the middle of this stupid lawsuit, and I was scared,
- 26:31Speaker 1: and I drank too much, and I like ran in
- 26:34Speaker 1: the bushes and started crying. You know what you got?
- 26:38Speaker 1: Sometimes people made a bush. Yeah, I never that kind
- 26:41Speaker 1: of bush. You need to stop landing bad. You know
- 26:45Speaker 1: it right exactly? And that it wasn't a rose in
- 26:51Speaker 1: your favorite song? Which one is your favorite? Out of
- 26:54Speaker 1: my music? Yes? Out of your music? Um, you know
- 26:58Speaker 1: it's a toss up for me. You know. I love
- 27:00Speaker 1: Feeling Jovanni so much. Our producers just texted us, please
- 27:04Speaker 1: ask about I gonna give us a little song and
- 27:08Speaker 1: Dovanny does it feels so good? Feeling Dobanny. I love
- 27:12Speaker 1: that song and I love chat LVI s Do you
- 27:16Speaker 1: write these songs? Yeah? I do. I have to say,
- 27:20Speaker 1: I'll never be able to see a Jovanni dress again
- 27:23Speaker 1: without thinking about you, about singing that. I hope they
- 27:26Speaker 1: give you free dresses all the time. Well listen, you know,
- 27:30Speaker 1: God knows um Jovanni has gotten a lot of you know,
- 27:34Speaker 1: attention from all of mine grades with with the dresses
- 27:38Speaker 1: and Derinda's story and you know, and of course my
- 27:41Speaker 1: classic money can't buy your class because it's so true.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Oh yes, I used that the other day, an asshole,
- 27:47Speaker 1: and I'm like, I can, so will you'll be out
- 27:52Speaker 1: in California to perform anytimes. I am doing Caba ratios.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I'm so excited California. Yes, uh ye to the twenty
- 28:01Speaker 1: six I'm at the l RA huge. You guys are coming.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Oh yes, okay, well we love it. June we are
- 28:10Speaker 1: June twenty three, We're still here. Yea, So you can
- 28:14Speaker 1: come opening night? Yeah, oh my god, yes yes we would.
- 28:18Speaker 1: And you know what we we are not good singers
- 28:21Speaker 1: or good dancers or anything. But if you need someone
- 28:23Speaker 1: just back. We'll hype you up. We'll be your hype.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Believe me, if you guys were there, We're gonna have
- 28:28Speaker 1: some fun with you in the audience for sure. Oh
- 28:30Speaker 1: my god, do you still have do you still make jewelry?
- 28:32Speaker 1: Have you jewelry line? No, I'm not doing the jewelry anymore. Um. Yeah,
- 28:36Speaker 1: you know, I was doing the statement necklaces for a
- 28:38Speaker 1: while and send me a piece and I wore it.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I'm one of my Yes, that diamond one right, Yes
- 28:44Speaker 1: it was. I still have it. It's beautiful. You guys
- 28:46Speaker 1: know that there's a complete Instagram dedicated to statement jewelry
- 28:50Speaker 1: now because of the housewives wearing statement necklaces. And they'll
- 28:54Speaker 1: find they post everything from like, you know, some stuffs
- 28:57Speaker 1: from fourteen years ago or whatever it is. I see
- 28:59Speaker 1: all these big I know it's a circle. So you know,
- 29:02Speaker 1: obviously we're not wearing big statement necklaces. I mean I
- 29:05Speaker 1: am when I perform in my cabaret shows, and I
- 29:08Speaker 1: got to have lots of diamonds and jewels, but you know, gems, jet, silhouette,
- 29:13Speaker 1: champaigne and this guy's like part of my lyrics. But um,
- 29:17Speaker 1: I'm concentrating on the fose and my cabaret and you
- 29:22Speaker 1: know and just uh and and the reboot or the show.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I'm busy. Well we're here for it. Well, we thank
- 29:32Speaker 1: you so much. And um, and I can't wait to
- 29:36Speaker 1: see you when I come out there. I mean, I
- 29:38Speaker 1: never get to hang out with you guys, so I know. Well,
- 29:40Speaker 1: if you're out, I'll d mu R numbers so you can. Yeah,
- 29:44Speaker 1: so you have it, and then we'll bring Kyle along
- 29:46Speaker 1: on June. Oh yes, awesome, Yeah, I know she wants
- 29:50Speaker 1: to come. She was on the girl's trip and I
- 29:52Speaker 1: would pass by her room and I would hear it.
- 29:57Speaker 1: She she was like singing in her room, not knowing
- 30:01Speaker 1: that I was there, you know, in the house. Help ourselves.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Told me that that's got to be flattering that you
- 30:09Speaker 1: have a song, you have multiple songs that are so
- 30:12Speaker 1: catchy that you can't get out of here. And that's
- 30:14Speaker 1: like how we are right now, like with our kids
- 30:16Speaker 1: about the Bruno song. Oh god, talk about Bruno. Right,
- 30:24Speaker 1: all right, all right, thank you so much. You have
- 30:26Speaker 1: a good song, right, that's how you know. You can't
- 30:30Speaker 1: wait to see you in June. Oh my god, I'm
- 30:32Speaker 1: so excited you guys are coming. Yea, thank you organized
- 30:36Speaker 1: that for you guys. Thank you. Fine
