  And I think we can all relate with that spiral. First of all,

  wanted to vent and then you lay in bed the next morning and you're like,

  a lot more on Danielle's side in this feud and I'm more Lindsay and you're

  more Lindsay, I still even though she was like, I didn't think the

  you were still doing it, and it was like not, you'll,

  I understand you were spiraling. I understand, like I'm sure that alcohol didn't

  help because then you start to focus on that one thing. But babe,

  I'm more on Lindsay's side and you're on more on Danielle's side. Here,

  I am kind of sticking up for Danielle in this episode and you're more like

  because I now, I know she did not think that that was going to

  left out. She feels bamboozled, and I find I really do get her

  very I think she was totally selfish by the way that she handled the conversation

  The yelling and the pillow all that I'm holding I'm I feel like it was

  very selfish of her throughout the summer. That's where I'm holding her accountable.

  But I really felt like by the end of this reunion, Danielle was able

  to say I think she could see the forest through the trees finally a little

  bit by saying, I never had a problem with you and Carl. It

  was the friendship that I wanted to I wanted it to get back to where

  it was so and that's what I saw happening the entire summer. But she

  couldn't articulate that, and she was she was mixing it up with her and
• 19:47
  Carl and them and Carl and their relationship and they're moving too fast, and

  that's where I felt like Lindsey could not get on board with her because she
• 19:55
  wasn't saying what the real problem was because she didn't really know at that point.

  But I was. And I was also thankful that Andy was kind of

  like going to bat for Danielle too. Yeah. He was like, don't

  you can't, like, can't you see what she's talking about? Because I

  thought that yeah, when she, like Lindsay, wasn't coming around she I

  was like, Lindsay, you bet. Danielle has apologized. She owned up

  to it. She owned up to it, and like, now we're really

  getting down to it. She is apologizing. You better fucking show up right

  Like yeah, like you said, Andy, thank god he articulated everything

  perfectly right. It was like, that's what a friend does. That's what

  a best friend does. I've done that so many times with sisters, with

  best friends, with friends, to be like are you are you happy?

  Because like this is not this is seeming weird to me, And well,

  I think that what was strange about that was that to me, this is

  where I have to split from Danielle. And I'm like, how is it

  weird? I mean, these your friends, they fell in love, they've

  known each other for years. Why are you the one person that should be

  supportive seemingly against them? That's what I didn't get, and that's where I

  had such an issue. But I think it was where their friendship thropple got,

  you know, completely bamboozled, and she could not see the forest of

  the trees in terms of where she fit in with their friendship, and that

  I get, but also like I think she was getting there to a great

  place of being able to explain herself when she and Carl had the talk the

  night that Lindsay went out, and it was like, oh, finally,

  like they're seeing eye to eye. I felt like that from the conversation with

  Carl. With Carl where yeah, it was like I love you guys like
• 21:57
  I want to be. Then why did she scream to her pillow? See

  That's that's how it was here too, but didn't get anywhere. Yeah,

  but Carl still was open to listening. Carl's yes when he kind of told

  Lindsay that, which I literally thought I was like, Okay, good,

  Carl is going to be able to talk to Lindsay because they Well, he

  shouldn't have told her she screamed into her pillar. Then well, right,

  I said, Reler, He shouldn't have told her that. If he wanted

  to, he should have withheld that information. But it is kind of key,

  like why are you going to tell somebody that you're going to get engaged?

  Why would you want someone's help if they're screaming into their pillow that they're

  frustrated and doubting their sense. She was essentially doubting their relationship. So that's

  where I kind of have to have Carl and Lindsay's back on that. But

  it wasn't because but now I know it wasn't because she had an issue with

  them being together. It was because she was lost in the friendship. And

  I wish that Carl could have seen that, but he's lost in his own

  stuff. I just feel like everyone's selfish, Like Danielle was selfish, Carl

  was selfish, and Lindsay was selfish. Because here they are, like my

  engagement, It's like, okay, well yeah, but at the end of

  the day, totally got that too, Like I was doing this for my

  engagement for the two of us, which totally got. Yeah, it's one

  your special day and you should do it however you want. It was hurtful

  that you didn't include me because I'm sure Danielle would have done like something amazing

  for them. See that's that broke my heart when she was like, would

  I have liked to have like thrown the fireworks up in the air myself?

  Yes, And that's where I was like, Lindsay, you better come straight

  right now and be like it actually did like when Lindsay said we need a

  do over of this engagement, because it made it feel like she heard her,

  you know. But man, was I getting frustrated at the point at

  the end there when she was like, well she was going around the engagement

  by d and I was like, she just bugging. Oh, I was

  gonna this is where I'm like, this is getting housewife like you cannot you

  guys are better than this. And when you see the flashbacks of Danielle,

  like especially Danielle going to bat for Carl against Kyle, that hard. You

  know, you have to remember those moments like what you have seen and how

  she's been there for you and why she's so upset. You know, she's

  passionate that Lindsay did say thank you for that. I was kind of surprised,

  like, m hm, oh my god, you do see that Danielle

  had your back so fucking hard, Like she goes fucking hard. What is

  that next summer, what has got to happen is that they can repair this.

  Danielle. So I thought it was interesting in the behind the scenes moment when

  she and it's just those are always interesting to me anyway, like at the

  reunions to see when they break for lunch, like who's going with who?

  Who's really like friends with who? And of course Carl and Lindsay are like

  wants to be around you. But I also love that she was like they're

  talking about their wedding and she was like the only people I only want the

  people that the relationships that matter to you, Me, Kyle, Amanda,

  Danielle, who was like, yeah, what about your best friends that you

  just met six months ago? And that those were your best friends? Which

  when if there are addictions. And then he didn't necessarily mean to exploit his

  brother, but unfortunately he, like he said, the fact that he can

  be so inwardly wise at this point, saying he had anger towards him because

  he couldn't come to grips with the fact that he also had issues and he

  was on TV trying to glorify a party boy. You know, this is

  just a journey that we certainly didn't expect from from someone like him when we

  turned out on Summer House. And the fact that he never spoke to his

  brother again before he overdosed the weight of that, you know, because he

  said that it damaged his brother from hearing him talk about that on TV.

  And that's where I felt like, oh, damn it, you know,

  like what are we doing here? Because this can destroy lives? You know,

  I mean, the reputation that you have and the shame you feel if

  someone's talking about you on television. And I could only hope that I can

  imagine that Carl feels that. And he said this before that his brother really

  a day by day process and I can't imagine the struggle. And and really

  I wonder if being on reality television is going to be something that he'll find

  the shame and the hatred that they feel towards themselves is exponentially greater than any

  started out, you know, outing his brother, and then that affected that

  and then you back and then Kyle doing that to him, but that that

  Carl has this perspective of being able to forgive him, which really shows working

  not only the steps, but being whatever he's working, he's doing it.

  He is showing up and he is doing the work. And also one of

  the things that he did say that stood out to me was, you know,

  when you had said that he's like, I forgot a lot of the

  have someone in your family or in your life, friends, whatnot, work,

  acquaintance that is an addict, and the things that they do when they

  are in the addiction mode, it is hurtful to you and you will remember

  that they will not, and so what's difficult is that you're holding them accountable

  for something that they don't even know that they did. So that's very hard

  for them to understand how they may have hurt you because you don't you don't

  remember doing that. And then for some the sober person, it's hard to

  separate the addiction from the person and it's like it wasn't the person that was
• 37:07
  the addiction, and it's so hard to separate that it really is. And

  I was really proud of Kyle for essentially coming to terms with how that can
• 37:16
  be incredibly hurtful and he never wanted to hurt his friend like that, but
• 37:20
  here he was completely wasted saying this, and his feelings are valid as well.

  I would like to say. I mean, if you have a friend

  that you have a coworker, you're trying to do everything you can to help

  them out that he was giving them a long you know, a long leash

  if you will, but in a way that was being codependent and he didn't

  because he just didn't realize it. So he was just helping. And can
