- 0:10Speaker 1: Winter insurance. I'm true. I'm a chet cut with insurance. Thanks. Hey, everybody,
- 0:33Speaker 1: welcome to Conspiracy The Show. I'm your host, Adam Todd
- 0:38Speaker 1: Brown joining me as co host this week. Ooh, my
- 0:40Speaker 1: favorite co host of all no co host, but you
- 0:42Speaker 1: have a fantastic guest. Jen Scott is here. Jen Scott
- 0:46Speaker 1: is back. You were just on the show.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I'm back and by popular demand, I'm back and back again.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Damn right. We got a bag full of letters requesting
- 0:57Speaker 1: Jen Scott be back on the show.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Every time, every time, every single time. You guys keep
- 1:02Speaker 2: writing in. It's crazy. Thank you.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Yeah, even though we have not given out the address
- 1:08Speaker 1: in a long long time, people find it.
- 1:11Speaker 2: You guys are finding it just to request me beyond
- 1:13Speaker 2: the podcast. So cool of you.
- 1:15Speaker 1: It's a lot like Santa Claus, where you can just
- 1:18Speaker 1: write Santa Claus, North Pole, send it to the post office,
- 1:21Speaker 1: get there, it gets there. You can just write Conspiracy
- 1:25Speaker 1: the Show, Los Angeles, California, and the government will make
- 1:29Speaker 1: sure I get what you sent me. It's an intimidation
- 1:32Speaker 1: tactic if nothing else.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Truly.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Yeah, So, speaking of that, we are talking about the
- 1:41Speaker 1: very recent and untimely death of Virginia Geoffrey, who is
- 1:47Speaker 1: arguably the most vocal of the Jeffrey Epstein victims or was.
- 1:54Speaker 1: She died at the end of April, allegedly by suicide
- 1:59Speaker 1: April twenty twenty five.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Legedly allegedly allegedly.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yeah. On the one hand, Yeah, it's weird that this
- 2:09Speaker 1: would make her, I think the third suicide tied to this,
- 2:14Speaker 1: with the other being Jeffrey Epstein of course definitely committed suicide,
- 2:19Speaker 1: and then Jean Luke Brunel, who was like the European
- 2:24Speaker 1: recruiter for the Jeffrey Epstein's scheme. He was the first
- 2:29Speaker 1: to commit suicide, and then Jeffrey Epstein, and now Virginia Geoffrey.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And on the one hand, I guess that's kind of suspicious,
- 2:38Speaker 1: but also this is the kind of case where I
- 2:41Speaker 1: would expect people to be committing suicide.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all suspicious.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I mean, we don't even necessarily believe that Epstein killed himself, right,
- 2:50Speaker 3: Like that's always the big meme of it all.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think people are right to question that.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I mean, there's just so many people who both would want,
- 3:00Speaker 3: I want to kill him and would benefit from him
- 3:01Speaker 3: being dead.
- 3:02Speaker 2: So the likelihood of suicide seems like a little silly.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Just with that on paper, I would be more surprised
- 3:09Speaker 1: if he committed suicide.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I would do because I feel like he thinks he
- 3:13Speaker 2: would have the money to get himself out of situations.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Not just that, but any time you have an inmate
- 3:19Speaker 1: that high profile, they're supposed to be watched and you're
- 3:24Speaker 1: supposed to take steps to make sure they don't kill themselves.
- 3:28Speaker 1: And that facility had protocols in place for that sort
- 3:32Speaker 1: of thing. So something other than suicide happened. I think
- 3:37Speaker 1: it's just my own personal belief. I guess.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, when there's really bad things, there's always infinite secrets.
- 3:45Speaker 3: So there's infinite secrets in every aspect of this one.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yeah. The only thing that would make me lean toward
- 3:53Speaker 1: Virginia Geoffrey being an actual suicide and not having been
- 3:58Speaker 1: knocked off by the government or something is why would
- 4:01Speaker 1: they do it?
- 4:02Speaker 2: Now? That's what I also think about her committing suicide though, Yeah,
- 4:07Speaker 2: like that's true, older and gone through a lot at
- 4:10Speaker 2: a very young age. I was born at a very
- 4:12Speaker 2: young age, And.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I mean, I guess there is like a threshold of
- 4:19Speaker 3: how much can you possibly take, but also like the
- 4:23Speaker 3: worst of it felt long ago that like if she
- 4:26Speaker 3: was the kind of person who would kill herself, maybe
- 4:28Speaker 3: she would have already done it.
- 4:29Speaker 2: She seems like more of a fighter than that, especially
- 4:31Speaker 2: with how I've spoken.
- 4:32Speaker 1: She was, Yeah, that's the thing. Also, and it seemed
- 4:36Speaker 1: like she did genuinely love her kids and wanted to
- 4:41Speaker 1: be able to see them again. We'll talk a little
- 4:44Speaker 1: later about one of the motivations she might have had
- 4:47Speaker 1: that involved her kids. That was I guess, I mean,
- 4:50Speaker 1: a possibility. But she alleged that she was trafficked by
- 4:55Speaker 1: Epstein and his partner Julane Maxwell when she was seventeen,
- 4:59Speaker 1: said she was trafficked to Prince Andrew by those two.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Also when she was seventeen, family released a statement calling
- 5:07Speaker 1: her quote a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual
- 5:10Speaker 1: abuse and that quote the toll of abuse became unbearable.
- 5:15Speaker 1: She lost her life to suicide after being a lifelong
- 5:17Speaker 1: victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She lived in
- 5:22Speaker 1: Western Australia. Died on a farm in Western Australia. She
- 5:26Speaker 1: owned a farm.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Was she Australian? Was she American?
- 5:29Speaker 1: She was American because she was working at mar A
- 5:33Speaker 1: Lago when they recruited her. So I think it was
- 5:39Speaker 1: her husband who was Australian and so they just moved
- 5:44Speaker 1: to Australia after they got married, which I think was
- 5:47Speaker 1: like two thousand and two something like that got it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: But police in Australia right away said the death was
- 5:53Speaker 1: being investigated by major crime detectives. But that early indication
- 5:58Speaker 1: is that it's not.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Sure.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, we gotta trust the police, you know,
- 6:05Speaker 1: we can't trust the police. Who can we trust?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Sad.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So we did an episode a few years ago when
- 6:14Speaker 1: a new batch of Epstein files were released, and in
- 6:18Speaker 1: those files was the manuscript of a book written by
- 6:21Speaker 1: Virginia Geoffrey that went into a lot of details about
- 6:25Speaker 1: what she alleged happened with her and Prince Andrew. You
- 6:29Speaker 1: can go listen to that episode if you want a
- 6:31Speaker 1: deeper dive into those allegations with more gory details.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Also if you don't want to google anything, like if
- 6:39Speaker 3: you've seen any coverage of any of the Epstein victims
- 6:42Speaker 3: talking like it is the lady that you're imagining, Like,
- 6:45Speaker 3: once I clicked the link, I was like, oh, her,
- 6:48Speaker 3: Like I have seen her talk about this a lot
- 6:50Speaker 3: like she's very much the most front facing victim in
- 6:53Speaker 3: my mind.
- 6:54Speaker 1: She's one of the only victims I can just name
- 6:58Speaker 1: off the top of my head. I know there were several,
- 7:01Speaker 1: but she's definitely the most public. And she was also
- 7:05Speaker 1: we mentioned on the earlier episode we did about her manuscript.
- 7:11Speaker 1: She is also the first one to bring up celebrities
- 7:15Speaker 1: in relation to Jeffrey Epstein. Before her, all of the
- 7:19Speaker 1: allegations were just against Epstein himself, but she was the
- 7:23Speaker 1: one who was like, no, no, no, no no. A
- 7:25Speaker 1: bunch of famous people involved also, so that's interesting, but
- 7:30Speaker 1: we'll do just kind of a broad overview for people.
- 7:33Speaker 1: She had a rough upbringing. She was abused at a
- 7:36Speaker 1: young age, living on the streets by fourteen. She met
- 7:39Speaker 1: Julaanne Maxwell in two thousand when she was trying to
- 7:44Speaker 1: rebuild her life. She was working at mari A Lago
- 7:47Speaker 1: at the time as a locker room attendant, perfectly normal
- 7:50Speaker 1: seventeen year old behavior, and that is when Julane Maxwell
- 7:54Speaker 1: approached her about maybe training as a massage therapist. I
- 7:59Speaker 1: don't know how these QAnon types that are so enamored
- 8:03Speaker 1: with Trump are just never bothered by the fact that
- 8:06Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was literally recruiting girls at mar A Lago.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't understand that either. It's such an obvious
- 8:14Speaker 2: plot point.
- 8:15Speaker 1: And of all the names associated with Jeffrey Epstein, how
- 8:20Speaker 1: many of them do. We also have video of those
- 8:24Speaker 1: two standing together at a party literally pointing at young girls.
- 8:29Speaker 2: And it's crazy, there's so much of it.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Yeah, there's the Howard Stern thing where Trump was on
- 8:34Speaker 1: Howard Stern and he mentioned something about Jeffrey Epstein and
- 8:37Speaker 1: he goes, he said something along the lines of and
- 8:40Speaker 1: I heard he likes them a little young, just like
- 8:42Speaker 1: I do. That clip oh undo, Yeah, it's very bad times.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Oh god, that like made me feel physically ill, just
- 8:53Speaker 3: like I do. Uh could have just skipped that part,
- 8:57Speaker 3: shut up.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and that he's that before he got elected
- 9:01Speaker 1: the first time.
- 9:02Speaker 2: So I hate it here, fucking hated here.
- 9:08Speaker 1: We're in hell so wild, it's so fucked.
- 9:12Speaker 2: And like I that I had to sing a song.
- 9:14Speaker 3: That's how disassociated I am from every situation at this point.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's a lot. It's a lot to fucking
- 9:22Speaker 1: keep up with. So she met Julane Maxwell at mar
- 9:26Speaker 1: A Lago when she was seventeen, she goes to a
- 9:29Speaker 1: job interview with Jeffrey Epstein and the rest is history.
- 9:33Speaker 1: That is where the abuse started. She said she was
- 9:37Speaker 1: passed around to various Epstein associates, with one of them
- 9:41Speaker 1: being Prince Andrew when she was still only seventeen.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Not the phrase passed around, that's horrible.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah, she actually says passed around like a fruit plate
- 9:53Speaker 1: was holy shit fuck her quote. So that's gross. But
- 9:59Speaker 1: the the only celebrity she's ever actually named is Prince Andrew.
- 10:05Speaker 1: There's a very famous photo that is said to be
- 10:07Speaker 1: from the night they met. She claims Prince Andrew sexually
- 10:12Speaker 1: abused her on three different occasions in three different parts
- 10:16Speaker 1: of the world. He's always denied it, but he did
- 10:19Speaker 1: also settle a lawsuit with her in twenty twenty two
- 10:23Speaker 1: for a sum that is rumored to be in the
- 10:25Speaker 1: range of twelve to sixteen point three million, which sixteen
- 10:30Speaker 1: point three that feels like not a rumor, that feels
- 10:33Speaker 1: like that might be the actual number. If you got
- 10:35Speaker 1: the point three.
- 10:36Speaker 2: That's a really big settlement for an I didn't do that.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it sure is.
- 10:42Speaker 2: That's a pretty big shut the fuck up money.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like normally these settlements are like a
- 10:49Speaker 1: few hundred thousand. But also, why didn't you just do
- 10:53Speaker 1: the settlement in the first place? Dumb dumb?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Yeah, why not just be like babe here, like, ah,
- 11:00Speaker 2: I'm a bad guy, take the money. This is capitalism. Goodbye.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Yeah. But he did not, and now look what happened
- 11:08Speaker 1: to him. Nothing. He agreed to a settlement. But I
- 11:11Speaker 1: mean that's a lot of money. I don't know what
- 11:13Speaker 1: kind of cash Prince Andrew has a member of the
- 11:16Speaker 1: royal family soon like England.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Old core money.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Wait, so the settlement happened, so she got that money.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Well that's the thing. I did find a source, but
- 11:28Speaker 1: it is a UK tabloid that we'll talk about at
- 11:30Speaker 1: the end that claims that settlement was in jeopardy in
- 11:35Speaker 1: some way and that maybe that is what she was
- 11:38Speaker 1: so distressed about and maybe that's what prompted her to
- 11:41Speaker 1: kill herself.
- 11:43Speaker 2: So they were like, we'll settle, just kidding suffer.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean she was being sued for defamation also
- 11:51Speaker 1: by an artist named Nina Oh who she accused of
- 11:55Speaker 1: being Jeffrey Epstein's girlfriend and one of his recruiters, and
- 12:01Speaker 1: that woman sued Virginia Geoffrey, and that suit was I
- 12:06Speaker 1: guess still ongoing. But she was looking for like eight
- 12:09Speaker 1: million dollars, not a girl's girl. So maybe that is
- 12:14Speaker 1: where the thing about the settlement being in jeopardy comes from,
- 12:17Speaker 1: because they don't really say otherwise, like was she not
- 12:20Speaker 1: going to get it? Oh?
- 12:20Speaker 3: Well, maybe yeah she wasn't. Maybe she wasn't gonna get
- 12:23Speaker 3: it because of the defamation lawsuits.
- 12:24Speaker 1: What you're saying, Yeah, maybe.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Because it was like interfering or whatever the fuck that sucks.
- 12:31Speaker 3: And also Nina, Oh okay girl, Yeah, like your art's
- 12:35Speaker 3: really good.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it better be with a name like that,
- 12:39Speaker 1: it better be.
- 12:39Speaker 3: If you're gonna sue for defamation after being a fucking
- 12:42Speaker 3: sex trafficking recruiter.
- 12:43Speaker 1: You fuck. I mean she claims she wasn't, so she
- 12:48Speaker 1: claimed she was a victim.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And that should be enough. What that should be enough
- 12:53Speaker 2: if you didn't do it, like what like this bitch
- 12:55Speaker 2: defamed you? And okay, okay girl, Yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I mean I don't know. If I got accused of
- 13:02Speaker 1: being a recruiter for Jeffrey Epstein and I really wasn't,
- 13:05Speaker 1: then I might I might be upset. I might file
- 13:08Speaker 1: a lawsuit. Yeah, yeah, I guess let's try it. Let's
- 13:12Speaker 1: accuse someone of being a recruiter for Jeffrey Epstein and
- 13:14Speaker 1: see if.
- 13:14Speaker 2: They're I'm full up on accusations.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Let's accuse someone of something. By the end of this,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I don't recommend it.
- 13:24Speaker 2: You want to be shunned by random people that you
- 13:26Speaker 2: don't know why for years accuse someone of something The
- 13:31Speaker 2: good point, especially if they did it, maybe yeah, yeah, anyway, anyway,
- 13:38Speaker 2: not to make it about me.
- 13:41Speaker 1: So. One of the weirdest parts of this story happened
- 13:45Speaker 1: a few weeks before Virginia Geoffrey died. At the end
- 13:49Speaker 1: of March. She posted on social media saying she had
- 13:53Speaker 1: suffered renal failure after being hit by a school bus
- 13:57Speaker 1: and that doctors told her she had four days to live.
- 14:01Speaker 2: What is renal failure?
- 14:04Speaker 1: What's a renal kidney failure? Okay, yeah, yea yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Why not just say kidney failure?
- 14:10Speaker 1: Well, this was her actual quote. I've gone into kidney
- 14:14Speaker 1: renal failure.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Joe, Okay, okay, I just didn't know what renal was.
- 14:18Speaker 1: They've given me four days to live, transferring me to
- 14:21Speaker 1: a specialist hospital in urology. I'm ready to go, just
- 14:25Speaker 1: not until I see my babies one last time. But
- 14:28Speaker 1: you know what they say about wishes end quote. Do
- 14:31Speaker 1: doctors do that? Are they like, you got four days
- 14:34Speaker 1: to live?
- 14:34Speaker 2: I feel like only in movies.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Yeah, and even then that would be it's like you're
- 14:39Speaker 1: not going to do anything.
- 14:40Speaker 3: You can't it's like such a trophy thing. It's like
- 14:43Speaker 3: throwing up and that means you're pregnant. It's like the same.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And apparently after all of this, her family clarified and
- 14:51Speaker 1: said that doctors told her if she left the hospital
- 14:55Speaker 1: then she would only have four days left to live. Okay,
- 15:00Speaker 1: so maybe they were just trying to scare her into
- 15:02Speaker 1: staying in the hospital. Oh seems like that part worked
- 15:06Speaker 1: because she was discharged after six days. But very weird,
- 15:10Speaker 1: very weird. She the picture she posted was horrifying. Her
- 15:13Speaker 1: face was really really fucked up. Ooh, and this is
- 15:17Speaker 1: another quote from her post about it. I think it's
- 15:20Speaker 1: important to note that when a school bus driver comes
- 15:23Speaker 1: at you driving one hundred kilometers as we were slowing
- 15:26Speaker 1: for a turn, that no matter what your car is
- 15:29Speaker 1: made of, it might as well be a tin can.
- 15:31Speaker 1: End quote. That's very strange because also just her face
- 15:35Speaker 1: was bruised up.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Why is that important to note?
- 15:39Speaker 1: Like duh, Yeah, that was definitely an odd tag, Like
- 15:44Speaker 1: take this down. This is a clue. And it gets
- 15:49Speaker 1: even weirder because a few days after that post, the
- 15:54Speaker 1: driver of the school bus in question came forward and
- 15:57Speaker 1: said that this accident was being blown way out of proportion.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Bus driver's named Ross Muns, and he claimed he was
- 16:05Speaker 1: traveling at around forty six miles per hour when he
- 16:09Speaker 1: tried to pass a slow moving vehicle and as he
- 16:12Speaker 1: began passing, the driver turned into his path, causing the
- 16:16Speaker 1: bus to clip the vehicle, damaging the tail.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Light, which makes no sense for face fucked up.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Nope, And the driver was an elderly woman and they
- 16:27Speaker 1: got out and exchanged information and went on their separate ways.
- 16:31Speaker 1: He said he didn't even realize there was a passenger
- 16:34Speaker 1: in the car, and then he called the elderly driver
- 16:38Speaker 1: the next day and she was like, oh, yeah, by
- 16:40Speaker 1: the way, my passenger has a black eye. So I
- 16:44Speaker 1: don't know what the fuck was going on with this
- 16:46Speaker 1: bus accident, the bus drip. I didn't put it in
- 16:48Speaker 1: the notes, but the bus driver and we'll link to
- 16:51Speaker 1: the article where he says This was kind of suspicious
- 16:54Speaker 1: of the accident and felt like maybe they did it
- 16:56Speaker 1: on purpose.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Also, it sounds like it's not her car, and she's like,
- 17:01Speaker 3: no matter what your car's made out of, Like, this
- 17:05Speaker 3: isn't even your fucking car.
- 17:06Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 17:08Speaker 2: Who's this old lady driver?
- 17:10Speaker 1: Yeah? Who is the old woman that was driving?
- 17:12Speaker 2: Why do we not know anything about her?
- 17:15Speaker 1: It's weird that she's not identified in this. Who is she?
- 17:20Speaker 3: Who is she?
- 17:21Speaker 1: Where were they going? So many questions. This is a
- 17:25Speaker 1: quote from the bus driver. I didn't see her in
- 17:28Speaker 1: the car. The driver basically pulled out in front of me.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I made sure she was all right. It wasn't a
- 17:33Speaker 1: major crash end quote. There is also a police report
- 17:37Speaker 1: that describes the incident as a minor collision. A police
- 17:40Speaker 1: spokesperson said the collision was reported by the bus driver
- 17:44Speaker 1: the following day. The car sustained approximately two thousand dollars
- 17:48Speaker 1: worth of damage. There were no reported injuries as a
- 17:51Speaker 1: result of the crash. End quote.
- 17:53Speaker 3: This sounds like just a random crash that happened, that
- 17:56Speaker 3: she was not even in the car of Like, cause
- 17:59Speaker 3: when you get in a car accident, everybody gets out
- 18:01Speaker 3: of the car.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Unless you're like severely injured. Yeah, severely injured.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Then there's an ambulance and people get taken away in
- 18:08Speaker 3: the ambulance. But the bus driver would have certainly seen her.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Yeah, was she trying to fake her death or something?
- 18:13Speaker 2: She might have like tried to fake her death and failed,
- 18:17Speaker 2: bitched out.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Yeah maybe, Yeah. I would love to know who that
- 18:21Speaker 1: woman driving the car was.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that part is so confusing because you.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Would think if it was just like her mom or something,
- 18:28Speaker 1: they would say that.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Or if it was just an Uber driver, they'd be like,
- 18:32Speaker 2: it's just an Uber driver.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Yeah, But no, we don't have any of those details.
- 18:37Speaker 1: She was also supposed to appear in court on April
- 18:41Speaker 1: night for violating a family violence restraining order obtained by
- 18:45Speaker 1: her husband, but her attorney got that rescheduled to June.
- 18:49Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 18:51Speaker 1: That part is really weird too, because it's also mentioned
- 18:56Speaker 1: as being maybe one of her motivations if she did
- 18:59Speaker 1: take her own life. But the way the family tells
- 19:02Speaker 1: it is her husband beat her on a recent family
- 19:06Speaker 1: vacation and then came home and filed for this restraining
- 19:11Speaker 1: order and got it, and that's why she hasn't been
- 19:13Speaker 1: able to see her kids. So someone's lying because if
- 19:18Speaker 1: he is the one that did the beaten, I don't
- 19:20Speaker 1: know why the judge would give him the restraining order.
- 19:24Speaker 1: So it could just be that he's lying.
- 19:27Speaker 2: But that's so confusing.
- 19:29Speaker 1: It does seem rare that a judge would side with
- 19:33Speaker 1: the dude in a case like that.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Yeah, like, oh, you hit her, so you should have
- 19:41Speaker 3: a restraining order from her so you don't have the
- 19:44Speaker 3: urge to hit her.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Like what Yeah, and I wonder if she actually did
- 19:49Speaker 1: the hitting' and her family is just taking her aside. Also,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I have.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Heard of people who like get restraining orders from people
- 19:58Speaker 3: and then because because the other party doesn't know what
- 20:02Speaker 3: to do and that was their last reaction and they're
- 20:04Speaker 3: crazy that they just try to also get a restraining
- 20:08Speaker 3: order to be like well.
- 20:08Speaker 2: If you can, so can I Yeah?
- 20:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I could see that.
- 20:12Speaker 3: And that I guess happens a lot because like they
- 20:15Speaker 3: just don't know what else communication Like, that's like their
- 20:18Speaker 3: fix is like abusing that person, So once the training
- 20:21Speaker 3: order happens, they're like, well.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I was abused too, I should have a rest training order.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Also, Yeah, I could see that. It's just weird. That
- 20:27Speaker 1: it worked so well and that she lost her kids
- 20:31Speaker 1: over it.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. She's probably got so much PTSD
- 20:34Speaker 2: and fucked up shit, like.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure. Yeah. Yeah. So, as one would expect,
- 20:40Speaker 1: folks are a little skeptical about this actually being a suicide.
- 20:44Speaker 1: One of those skeptics is her father, Sky Roberts. That's
- 20:48Speaker 1: a wnba ass name right there, it really is. How
- 20:52Speaker 1: is that not a lesbian? He was interviewed by Pierce
- 20:56Speaker 1: Morgan's bitch Ass and said this, First of all, I
- 21:00Speaker 1: couldn't even believe it. I mean, I started crying right away.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I'm still crying. I can't believe that this is happening.
- 21:06Speaker 1: It's impossible. And then for them to say that she
- 21:08Speaker 1: committed suicide, there's no way that she did. Somebody got
- 21:12Speaker 1: to her end quote. But also it seems like that's
- 21:15Speaker 1: just a hunch that he's got.
- 21:16Speaker 3: His dad has also got to feel guilty forever, because
- 21:18Speaker 3: what a bad dad that you ended up having your
- 21:20Speaker 3: kid work for Epstein.
- 21:22Speaker 2: And she was on the streets at fourteen, and.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Her dad worked at mar A Lago at the time. Also, yeah,
- 21:28Speaker 1: and she like when she got offered the job, she
- 21:32Speaker 1: came and told him, and he was like, fuck, yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 1: I go be a massage therapist for a rich old man.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Absolutely very strange. So yeah, there's not much else to
- 21:41Speaker 1: his story. He just thinks there's something up. There are
- 21:45Speaker 1: headlines out there that say, a lawyer who has represented
- 21:48Speaker 1: Epstein victims has quote called for an investigation into Geoffrey's death.
- 21:53Speaker 1: And I think those headlines are playing a little fast
- 21:56Speaker 1: and loose with what he actually said, because they make
- 21:59Speaker 1: it seem like this lawyer immediately thinks some sort of
- 22:03Speaker 1: shenanigans are afoot, but it seems like he's actually a
- 22:06Speaker 1: little more on the fence about it, if anything. Lawyer's
- 22:09Speaker 1: name is Spencer Covin, and firstly, he mentions that victims
- 22:13Speaker 1: of sexual assault are quote sometimes a three times higher
- 22:17Speaker 1: rate to commit suicide than an ordinary individual in society.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Sometimes.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I also hate how he worded that. What does sometimes
- 22:27Speaker 1: a three times higher.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Like a non statement?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Yeah, an ordinary individual that don't say it that way?
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, Like what the fuck does that mean?
- 22:38Speaker 1: It's weirdos that got abused when they were young?
- 22:41Speaker 2: And what the shit? Victim blaming ass statement? Like how
- 22:44Speaker 2: do you manage to be victim blaming and still say
- 22:47Speaker 2: almost nothing. Yeah, sometimes victims want to die more than.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Other people than regularly okay, than normal people.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Yeah, because you're oh freak forgetting abuse.
- 23:02Speaker 1: But he also added this kind of long quote. Sorry.
- 23:06Speaker 1: She tweeted out many years ago that she was never
- 23:08Speaker 1: going to contemplate suicide, so if she died, you know,
- 23:12Speaker 1: it wasn't by her own hand. But circumstances change in
- 23:16Speaker 1: people's lives. The Australian government needs to release that information
- 23:20Speaker 1: to let the world know what happened. She had so
- 23:22Speaker 1: many powerful people angry at her that I think in
- 23:25Speaker 1: order for everyone the world, her family to truly close
- 23:30Speaker 1: the book on this story, they should fully investigate that
- 23:32Speaker 1: suicide and make it public so that people don't have
- 23:36Speaker 1: these questions in their mind like we had after the
- 23:39Speaker 1: death of Jeffrey Epstein himself. I agree with that, Yeah,
- 23:43Speaker 1: I mean, aren't they Yeah, I mean they're I feel
- 23:48Speaker 1: like they're probably looking into it, I hope, and maybe
- 23:52Speaker 1: they'll release the information, but people are It's cute that
- 23:55Speaker 1: he thinks any investigation on the part of any government
- 23:59Speaker 1: authority factual. Well, not just that that anyone who is
- 24:04Speaker 1: suspicious is going to take that as factual. They'll be like, well,
- 24:09Speaker 1: the government is investigating themselves.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Yes, oh, show the calls coming from inside the house.
- 24:17Speaker 1: So yeah, people are going to have those questions no
- 24:20Speaker 1: matter what. The Australian government releases. Her own lawyer, though,
- 24:25Speaker 1: seems to be less suspicious. That would be Carrie Lowden,
- 24:30Speaker 1: who was Virginia Geoffrey's lawyer at the time of her death.
- 24:33Speaker 1: At first, there was this quote attributed to her, We've
- 24:37Speaker 1: got big question marks over it. There's suicide and then
- 24:40Speaker 1: there's misadventure. End quote what misadventure.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Coming to the stage misadventure.
- 24:50Speaker 1: She also said that Geoffrey was quote in a lot
- 24:53Speaker 1: of pain, but she was looking forward to things in
- 24:55Speaker 1: the future, So that would make it seem like she
- 25:00Speaker 1: was saying, no, this probably was not a suicide. Very sketchy,
- 25:05Speaker 1: but she followed that statement up, and I can't tell
- 25:08Speaker 1: if she really doesn't believe that there's foul play or
- 25:12Speaker 1: if someone just got to her and was like, how
- 25:14Speaker 1: about you fucking take that statement back, lady. Yeah, here
- 25:19Speaker 1: is her follow up. I am not willing to speculate
- 25:21Speaker 1: on her cause of death as to whether it was
- 25:23Speaker 1: suicide or misadventure. Parentheses death from unnatural causes, including when
- 25:29Speaker 1: the deceased person willingly took a risk and parentheses. Huh.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I do not believe it was suspicious in any way.
- 25:37Speaker 1: The coroner will determine in due course the cause of death,
- 25:40Speaker 1: and that will be established based on the evidence.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Your fucking statement is suspicious, bitch, what are you talking about?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Yeah? Misadventure? Is she saying, like being a Jeffrey Epstein whistleblower,
- 25:52Speaker 1: was the risk she willingly took?
- 25:54Speaker 3: I think it's like saying, like if say, she like
- 25:57Speaker 3: stabbed herself to death, it's like she tripped in on
- 26:00Speaker 3: the knife ten times?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, was she like found whoa underneath like a
- 26:07Speaker 1: tight rope or something?
- 26:08Speaker 2: Oh? I hate when I misadventure?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I've never heard it said that way.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I've never heard it said period. Why is it used?
- 26:16Speaker 1: Isn't that also just death by adventure? Yeah?
- 26:20Speaker 2: If you're adventuring, you're taking a chance, right, you know this.
- 26:23Speaker 2: There's no risk, no reward situation with adventure.
- 26:27Speaker 1: What you get bit by a snake when you're out
- 26:29Speaker 1: hiking and die?
- 26:30Speaker 2: Misadventure?
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that is death by adventure, And like.
- 26:35Speaker 2: That's a way cooler ruling than suicide.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, misadventure. That sounds fun. Do you know the
- 26:42Speaker 1: artist Sophie I don't think so.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Okay, Well, she died and the way that she died
- 26:46Speaker 2: is really sad and fucked up, but I would classify
- 26:49Speaker 2: it as misadventure.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Oh, let's hear it.
- 26:51Speaker 2: She was climbing a roof to look at the stars
- 26:55Speaker 2: and moon and fell and died.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Oh shit, that's misadventure. Misadventure. Yeah, yeah, but it's like very.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Sad, and I usually, like, I usually don't even talk
- 27:06Speaker 3: about it because it makes me so sad because she
- 27:08Speaker 3: was so cool.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Yeah. That sucks, It sucks so much. Yeah. So she
- 27:14Speaker 1: also added that she was quote not critical of the police,
- 27:17Speaker 1: nor am I demanding any investigation end quote, and then
- 27:22Speaker 1: also added some stuff about how the police are already
- 27:24Speaker 1: investigating and that she's sure they'll do a great job. Sure,
- 27:28Speaker 1: sure they will.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I'm sure misadventure.
- 27:32Speaker 1: So yeah, it seems like people are on the fence
- 27:34Speaker 1: as to whether this was suicide or not. It's mentioned
- 27:39Speaker 1: in a People magazine article that Geoffrey was experiencing quote
- 27:43Speaker 1: emotional and physical pain end quote in her last few months.
- 27:47Speaker 1: According to family, she and her husband of twenty two years,
- 27:51Speaker 1: the father of her three kids, were estranged at the
- 27:54Speaker 1: time of her death and had separated in twenty twenty three.
- 27:57Speaker 1: And this is the article that mentions that he allegedly
- 28:01Speaker 1: beat her during a family trip, but that after that
- 28:04Speaker 1: trip he filed a violence restraining order against her and
- 28:07Speaker 1: that it was granted. So suspicious, very very confusing.
- 28:14Speaker 2: The whole thing is suspicious also with like such a
- 28:17Speaker 2: high profile situation like this where there's like so much
- 28:21Speaker 2: like just room for manipulation with the husband stuff, Like
- 28:25Speaker 2: you never know what really was going on there. Who
- 28:28Speaker 2: knows who got.
- 28:29Speaker 1: In his ear, you know, Yeah, it could go any
- 28:31Speaker 1: number of ways. It is weird that there's all these
- 28:35Speaker 1: suicides around this. The JFK assassination is weirder. There's a
- 28:40Speaker 1: lot of strange deaths of witnesses in that, but this
- 28:43Speaker 1: is close. One of the JFK witnesses died from a
- 28:46Speaker 1: karate chop to the neck of that one of my
- 28:49Speaker 1: favorite details of.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Its really intense.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, because you would think that's not a
- 28:55Speaker 1: way you could die, but apparently no.
- 28:57Speaker 2: And that's also like very slapstick.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I feel like that's nothing that.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Happens in Austin.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Powers Like if that's a way to kill someone. Why
- 29:07Speaker 1: doesn't everyone who wants to kill someone just do it
- 29:10Speaker 1: that way?
- 29:10Speaker 2: That's like that, that seems so efficient.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah, just you're not leaving any tri I mean, I
- 29:16Speaker 1: don't know what kind of trace it leaves. It must
- 29:18Speaker 1: leave something if police can look at it and go,
- 29:20Speaker 1: oh shit, that was a karate chop.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Another karate chop to the neck.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Boys, it's all the rage these days. So yeah, this
- 29:32Speaker 1: is kind of a developing story, so there's not much
- 29:35Speaker 1: else to it so far. It's just been ruled suicide
- 29:40Speaker 1: and people have their suspicions, but nothing else has come
- 29:44Speaker 1: out about it. Very sad story either way.
- 29:48Speaker 2: But another another tale of misadventure.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, the continuing Misadventures of Jeffrey Epstein. Oh god,
- 29:59Speaker 1: so yeah, I think that is our shorter than usual episode.
- 30:04Speaker 1: If there are any updates, you know, we will follow up.
- 30:08Speaker 1: We're on it and let you know. But that's all
