South Carolina women’s basketball is hosting the PowHer Player Classic this November, pitting them against HBCU powerhouses Alabama A&M, North Carolina Central, and Tennessee State — with a championship showdown on the line. Led by Dawn Staley, who’s built a legacy of HBCU matchups across her 18 seasons, the Gamecocks will face Tennessee State on Nov. 28, then battle either A&M or NCCU for title or consolation the next day.
