- 0:01Speaker 1: The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on radio holder.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Harry Am there on the hole Arky Big Show this
- 0:09Speaker 2: Monday evening. Let's give out some advice Fells.
- 0:18Speaker 3: At gmail dot com in touch over there.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Just for context, Mogie gets a fright when.
- 0:30Speaker 2: He j.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Sometimes I do sometimes?
- 0:34Speaker 2: Is that your little milky Milo there? Mogi?
- 0:36Speaker 3: No interesting sorry about this. Jason is just talking to
- 0:39Speaker 3: a It's.
- 0:40Speaker 5: Actually a meadow Fresh, which is just a small two
- 0:43Speaker 5: hundred and fifty mil of milk, vanilla flavored, and Steven
- 0:48Speaker 5: Adams came in earlier and he's left us behind. He
- 0:53Speaker 5: signed it and he signed it for Jerry. Sign it
- 0:56Speaker 5: for Jerry, and I was instructed not to drink it,
- 0:59Speaker 5: but I'm tempted.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I don't you know what Jerry is still have the box?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Well that's the important thing, surely.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Any who, Jerry, anyway, we're getting side checked by a
- 1:09Speaker 4: box of milk. Guys written in here. It's a really
- 1:13Speaker 4: good question. Meet Pattinepsexy nine at gmail dot com. And
- 1:15Speaker 4: because of this it's one hundred percent anonymous. He will
- 1:18Speaker 4: get a reburg about to which is pretty cool.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Good a Fowlers. Here's my predicament. I live in Auckland,
- 1:22Speaker 4: number forty two year old bloke. I am back on
- 1:24Speaker 4: the dating scene after a recent amicable breakup, trying to find.
- 1:28Speaker 3: New love break up with him, trying.
- 1:30Speaker 4: To find love on two dating apps, Hinge and Bumble.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Sometimes women connect with me on these apps. I don't
- 1:34Speaker 4: decline about half.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Of them, so you accept half of them now.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Because I'm a nice person, I don't like to ghost people.
- 1:41Speaker 4: It seems wrong to cut the cord and cut off
- 1:43Speaker 4: the chat without really giving the person an opportunity to
- 1:45Speaker 4: show me how wonderful they might be in all seriousness.
- 1:47Speaker 4: And I'm not trying to big myself up. I have
- 1:48Speaker 4: too many connections. I've messages from about twelve women that
- 1:51Speaker 4: I'm supposed to respond to, and I don't want to
- 1:53Speaker 4: see over any of them and disappoint them. It's taking
- 1:55Speaker 4: up stupid amounts of times and making me and making
- 1:58Speaker 4: me glued to my phone. Right, of course, I'm only
- 2:02Speaker 4: going to find real connection with just one of these
- 2:03Speaker 4: twelve ladies statistically. So what should I do? How do
- 2:06Speaker 4: I let people down and determine which woman I should
- 2:08Speaker 4: concentrate on.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Thanks well, you spent a lot of time on the
- 2:10Speaker 5: Etsy Keasy. I've been in a relationship since the apps
- 2:13Speaker 5: came out, so I never got to.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I've never been on a dating app in my life.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I really know how they work.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Well. I guess the difference is with me and him
- 2:22Speaker 4: is that I'm still with my wife.
- 2:23Speaker 3: That's right.
- 2:24Speaker 5: So you have to be particularly care about how you
- 2:26Speaker 5: frame things, and so letting down people is important because
- 2:29Speaker 5: you don't want them coming back and going, Okay, well
- 2:31Speaker 5: I'm going to throw you under the bus and tell
- 2:32Speaker 5: your wife what you're up.
- 2:33Speaker 4: To, well exactly. But also, and i'd say, obviously in
- 2:36Speaker 4: my case, I've got a different name and stuff.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Jeff, So Jef, I.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Would have thought you should have run with Tony.
- 2:47Speaker 3: No, my name is Jeff.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Okay, So all I would say to anonymous here is
- 2:53Speaker 4: you're not letting anyone down. And everyone's used to it.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Everyone on the apps is used to the same ship.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Don't you just swipe and go now, do you, Jason? Well,
- 3:00Speaker 2: that's what I hear, swipe left or right or something? Yeah, right, okay,
- 3:05Speaker 2: what's not on either of those?
- 3:06Speaker 4: Genuinely just say, like, don't overthink it. Everyone on the
- 3:09Speaker 4: apps is going through the same experience, and you're not
- 3:11Speaker 4: letting anyone down by ghosting people.
- 3:13Speaker 5: I would just say, and this is this is dating
- 3:17Speaker 5: in the real world as well, Jase, Yes, you're better off.
- 3:21Speaker 5: You're better off giving them a fast no, that a
- 3:24Speaker 5: slow no. All of these ladies they're looking, well, they
- 3:27Speaker 5: might be looking for other things, but potentially assuming they're
- 3:30Speaker 5: probably looking for love. And so if you're going to
- 3:32Speaker 5: bugger them around, you're denying them an opportunity to get
- 3:36Speaker 5: on with their lives and find the person that is
- 3:38Speaker 5: right for them. So treat it as a public service.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Buggering them around is what you want to be avoiding,
- 3:46Speaker 5: So just be quick, get on with it, no harm,
- 3:49Speaker 5: no foul. They'll appreciate the promptness. I'm sure some of
- 3:51Speaker 5: them will be psychoso one hundred percent percent, not one
- 3:56Speaker 5: hundred percent of them, but there will be a percentage.
- 3:58Speaker 5: I mean, if you're dealing with twelve, at least one
- 4:00Speaker 5: is going to be an absolute nutbar. But the same
- 4:03Speaker 5: goes for men, and in fact, I would say less men,
- 4:06Speaker 5: there will be a higher percentage of psychos. I'm not
- 4:07Speaker 5: saying it's only woman here, I'm saying it's people.
- 4:10Speaker 3: In general.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Well, don't know, you see what I'm saying. Yeah, man,
- 4:13Speaker 5: what do you think, Jason? You think it's a higher
- 4:15Speaker 5: percentage of women, don't?
- 4:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you were saying, yeah.
- 4:21Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It's bitter and pied j'ly on Radio Hoaks.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yes, that's right, MESSI backbones another two hundred and fifty
- 4:37Speaker 2: dollars cash cash cash to give away.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Dad's Pies proudly bake award winning prize. Damn it, jeez,
- 4:47Speaker 4: Dad's Pies proudly bakes award winning pies for pie loving
- 4:51Speaker 4: New Zealanders.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I've just got the memory of that. Yeah, it's just.
- 4:54Speaker 4: No, I know, but I redid it. And if we
- 4:56Speaker 4: just pugs in the podcast. When you make the podcast
- 5:00Speaker 4: of the show, can you shorten it down so that the
- 5:02Speaker 4: mistakes not in there? Thanks?
- 5:03Speaker 2: Man, we're in that with about a ten minute show.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Well, if you did out all my mistakes, yes, hey,
- 5:09Speaker 4: fell forgiveaway two hundred.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Fifty bucks, can I Tommy your Ed Barton?

- 5:20Speaker 2: What do you do for a crush?
- 5:22Speaker 3: Tommy? I'm a panel beater?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, I need a panel beater. My daughter did
- 5:29Speaker 2: the classic thing, mate of exiting our apartment and did
- 5:33Speaker 2: the big scrape along the door there.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that'll catch you. Yeah, well with Tommy.
- 5:39Speaker 4: To be honest, it's gone along the rear door there.
- 5:42Speaker 4: It's also gone along the back panel. There's a lot
- 5:44Speaker 4: of work that needs to be done there, mate.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, just just scrap it, just scrap it.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Well.
- 5:49Speaker 5: On the bright side, Tommy, you can charge this guy
- 5:52Speaker 5: out whatever you want and he'll pay he'll pay it.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, he's one of those. Yeah.
- 5:58Speaker 2: What am I looking at, Tommy?
- 6:02Speaker 3: What am I looking at? Price wise? There?
- 6:04Speaker 2: Oh?
- 6:07Speaker 3: Maybe five six ground? Yes, g.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Twenty grand pocket change man, how about this, Tommy, twenty
- 6:16Speaker 4: grand and make sure you just absolutely bog it up
- 6:19Speaker 4: all right?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, on hey, Tommy, when you're having a
- 6:25Speaker 2: bit of a break, Yeah, some time for Tommy, as
- 6:28Speaker 2: I like Tommy.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Tommy, what a pie do you like to run with
- 6:35Speaker 3: the old muscle showder? Oh? Wow, flash guy?
- 6:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Pretty good. No, you're off your head.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Oh you gotta try it, mate, Union Union Road Bakery?
- 6:47Speaker 3: Is that the girl? Is it?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Yes? Right?
- 6:50Speaker 5: I don't know the thing for me though, is I
- 6:51Speaker 5: don't really trust his seafood. I need to know that
- 6:54Speaker 5: it's come straight out of the w as soon as
- 6:55Speaker 5: things have been frozen and anything like that.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a bit hitting. I haven't been sick yet, so.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you get on your mate. Hey, Well, great news
- 7:04Speaker 2: for you, Tommy. You just won yourself two hundred and

- 7:18Speaker 4: Is it honestly? You to fix that's that scratched on

- 7:22Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:23Speaker 4: You know, my dad's a former penalty episode or you
- 7:26Speaker 4: that's a good deal.
- 7:27Speaker 3: How much is your car with?

- 7:43Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy
- 7:46Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Holdarky Green Day.
- 7:51Speaker 2: There on the Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday evening. The
- 7:54Speaker 2: time is five thirty six.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Fellas has been a bit of an issue around my
- 8:00Speaker 5: place in my neighborhood there and yeah, she's not a goodie.
- 8:04Speaker 5: Right outside my front door a few days ago we
- 8:07Speaker 5: had a sinkhole a pre yeah.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Wow.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Now right outside the door, she's a big barstard there
- 8:13Speaker 5: f yellers. And yet a few years ago they had
- 8:16Speaker 5: an issue with the big floods that are having up here.
- 8:18Speaker 5: You remember, yes, and this is sort of a street
- 8:22Speaker 5: where there's a bit of a basin at the bottom
- 8:23Speaker 5: of it. So you come down a hill, you come
- 8:25Speaker 5: into the basin, and you go upper hell.
- 8:26Speaker 3: So the water.
- 8:27Speaker 5: Settled there created a lot of erosion at the time.
- 8:31Speaker 5: That was twenty twenty three. God, time flies, time flies.
- 8:34Speaker 4: That was the weekend of my wedding.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Ah that we went, we went invited to that where
- 8:38Speaker 5: we I remember that, I remember that very clearly. Anyway,
- 8:42Speaker 5: the way that the council dealt with it was they
- 8:44Speaker 5: put over one of those you've seen those metal sheets.
- 8:47Speaker 5: The sheets are metal. They just put that over the
- 8:50Speaker 5: top of the hole. You just drive over the metal sheets.
- 8:53Speaker 5: That sort of that out.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Anyway, that it's been like that for three years.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Oh wow, that's good.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Yeah, Oh yeah, No, they're all over it anyway, Surprise, surprise,
- 9:02Speaker 5: it's gotten worse.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Wow.
- 9:05Speaker 5: And the sinkhole is now five meters by five meters
- 9:10Speaker 5: three to four meters deep. And you know a lot
- 9:13Speaker 5: of the locals around there, and they come over to
- 9:15Speaker 5: me and they say, magie, like old Bobby Skelton, one.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Of my neighbors here, he's an old fellow. Jashu to
- 9:21Speaker 3: remember him. Yeah, Bobby. Sure.
- 9:22Speaker 5: He comes over to me and he sees, mate, what
- 9:24Speaker 5: are we going to do? You know the infrastructure shot.
- 9:28Speaker 5: You've got all these clay pipes down here, one hundred
- 9:30Speaker 5: and thirty year old. What evens in the next big
- 9:33Speaker 5: weather of it, the big rain comes through here, it's
- 9:36Speaker 5: only going to make things infinitely worse.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Bobby.
- 9:39Speaker 5: And I'm walking past her to drop my daughter off
- 9:42Speaker 5: to school the other day with the wife, and they're
- 9:45Speaker 5: dropping off a porta com a lunch room right right.
- 9:49Speaker 5: So these guys are for the for the workers there.
- 9:52Speaker 5: You don't see that very often. Normally they have to
- 9:54Speaker 5: sit on the road. They've dropped a port com off there.
- 9:56Speaker 5: These guys are going to be there for months and months.
- 9:58Speaker 3: And months, must be Yeah, they call that keysy. She's
- 10:01Speaker 3: a big job. She's a big job.
- 10:04Speaker 5: So I've had a word with old Bobby Skelton there
- 10:06Speaker 5: and we've decided that we're just going to fill it
- 10:08Speaker 5: up with odds and sods from sort of around the
- 10:10Speaker 5: neighborhood there. So I've been putting my sort of my
- 10:12Speaker 5: orange peels, food scraps, nice organic grass clippings, Yeah, recycling
- 10:20Speaker 5: a couple of old couches, an old ship box at
- 10:24Speaker 5: the lawn mower bug then and there to the old
- 10:28Speaker 5: you remember the equa the eck was gone and I'm
- 10:35Speaker 5: just doing a bit of a call out, so it's
- 10:37Speaker 5: a bit of a public service announcement. I just need
- 10:39Speaker 5: people to come off and just drop off anything you
- 10:41Speaker 5: can think of and just chuck it down this bloody
- 10:43Speaker 5: sinkhole for us.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Well funny should say that, Maga. Speaking to my wife
- 10:46Speaker 2: just yesterday. We've got a lot of stuff in storage.
- 10:48Speaker 2: We don't know you, so I might if that's all
- 10:50Speaker 2: all g by, you just fill up the boot.
- 10:52Speaker 3: And come around and dump it off if that's okay.
- 10:54Speaker 5: Look with absolutely we've been in touch with different building supplies.
- 10:59Speaker 3: We've got a whole much of.
- 11:00Speaker 5: A spest or sheets getting dropped in there and anything
- 11:03Speaker 5: you can get your hands on, just pop it and
- 11:07Speaker 5: it's all g Well, you'll be amazed what you can
- 11:11Speaker 5: cover up under the cover of night, Kizy and you
- 11:14Speaker 5: get out there, and because the local guys there, the contractors,
- 11:19Speaker 5: they hate it when you start pulling down the fences
- 11:22Speaker 5: and start bagging around in that big hole there. Yeah okay,
- 11:25Speaker 5: but in the middle of the night you often find
- 11:26Speaker 5: they've gone home. Yeah, yeah, so we just chucking anything
- 11:30Speaker 5: we can fit down there, really because yeah, what happens
- 11:33Speaker 5: in the next run.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Well exactly, so we twigging people. Three four eight three.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Have you got anything you'd like to chuck into the
- 11:38Speaker 4: sinkhole that you.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Could because I'm happy to come and pick it up.
- 11:42Speaker 5: And yeah, we've just got to sort out. But yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 5: Kikah as well to Auckland City Council. They've just knocked
- 11:48Speaker 5: that one out of the park.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Good start.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Three four eight three. What have you got to throw
- 11:52Speaker 4: into Mogi's sinkhole? Every text in the drawer for a
- 11:55Speaker 4: fifty yetle reburg about you.
- 11:56Speaker 2: In the meantime, he's rage against the machine the whole.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune in
- 12:03Speaker 1: week days at four on Radio.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Hodach Metellica there on the Hodarky Big Show this mate.
- 12:10Speaker 2: For some reason, my headphones aren't working, but anyway, O,
- 12:13Speaker 2: there you go.
- 12:14Speaker 3: They weren't plugged in. Fellers.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Hey, Now listen, the first Come Dine with Me is
- 12:18Speaker 2: happening this weekend.
- 12:20Speaker 3: What is that? I hear you ask.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Well, each of us here on the show is going
- 12:24Speaker 2: to host all the Fellows and their partners for a meal. Yes,
- 12:27Speaker 2: based on the popular show Come Dine with Me.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Come Dine with the Feelings.
- 12:36Speaker 5: Since the name of it has Come Dine with the Fellers,
- 12:38Speaker 5: we've been calling it the wrong thing this whole time. Yes,
- 12:41Speaker 5: So the first cab off the Rankers Old Bogi, Old
- 12:44Speaker 5: Bogy this weekend. Now, the way you get scored as
- 12:46Speaker 5: you do your entre, you do your main, and you
- 12:48Speaker 5: do a dessert. There's also options here to have an
- 12:51Speaker 5: entertainment section and also a theme.
- 12:56Speaker 3: A theme.
- 12:58Speaker 5: We've been invited to something and that's got a Las
- 13:00Speaker 5: Vegas theme, I think, or something along those lines. And
- 13:03Speaker 5: they do sort of on on occasion because I'm a
- 13:06Speaker 5: big fan of Come Down with Me, and sometimes they
- 13:08Speaker 5: do the theme, sometimes they don't, and I'm just sort
- 13:10Speaker 5: of tossing.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Up what we should do. Yeah, and I've got a
- 13:14Speaker 3: couple of ideas and just sort of run a past you.
- 13:16Speaker 5: How about we go formal so black tie okay, okay,
- 13:21Speaker 5: and then for the wives, sexy and partners, wives and partners.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Yeah right, okay, what do you think about that? That's
- 13:31Speaker 5: just my first six like, well, you know, you know
- 13:35Speaker 5: I don't need to it's up to I'm not certainly,
- 13:39Speaker 5: I'm not going to tell people what to wear.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Right, but then yeah, so I show up in a
- 13:44Speaker 4: suit and my wife's there in lingerie.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Well that's taken it to the extremes.
- 13:48Speaker 4: I'm just asking the queen. I have no idea, what
- 13:49Speaker 4: the hell is that?
- 13:50Speaker 3: Well, the thing I give you the theme. I'm not
- 13:51Speaker 3: going to tell you what to wear. I'm not.
- 13:53Speaker 5: I'm making the I'm making the meal. Can I'm a
- 13:56Speaker 5: bit busy to come and dress your wife. Can I
- 13:58Speaker 5: wear sixy? I mean I'd rather you didn't because well
- 14:01Speaker 5: you can, because but the theme for you is.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I like it because my wife's come up with a
- 14:12Speaker 2: very similar kind of theme, which for when you host
- 14:15Speaker 2: for when West, which is what.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Keys in the bowl?
- 14:20Speaker 2: See?
- 14:21Speaker 3: I like that? Thank you, Mogi.
- 14:22Speaker 2: You and I Initially I was.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Continued.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Initially, I was like dark, what I thought, Actually, your
- 14:34Speaker 2: odds are pretty good.
- 14:34Speaker 3: It's pretty good. What weekend was it?
- 14:37Speaker 2: Well, we haven't decided when I'm doing it yet, And
- 14:40Speaker 2: I mean, can I just say, just to assure you
- 14:43Speaker 2: feel us, we haven't agreed on that as a theme.
- 14:46Speaker 3: That was just an idea that was being tossed around.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Because like just to just to show where I'm coming
- 14:51Speaker 4: at this, Yeah, what were your ideas for the thing?
- 14:53Speaker 4: The idea I had was, you know, we'd all come
- 14:56Speaker 4: dress as sort of your favorite actor.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Hah.
- 15:00Speaker 3: That was my theme. And what about for the wives?
- 15:03Speaker 4: Well within that, I don't know why it's separating the
- 15:06Speaker 4: themes out. The other issue, Oh, okay, we nore you
- 15:14Speaker 4: go is budget?
- 15:16Speaker 2: Oh yes, because I'm thinking, you know, old Keysy with
- 15:20Speaker 2: his Game of Two Halves money, he's got a big budget.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I probably don't have the same kind of budget.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Is that just something that you just sort of have
- 15:28Speaker 5: to suck up? Is that the idea that you just
