NC Ferries Get Tolls Starting Jan 2027 | Wilmington News
Starting January 1, 2027, North Carolina’s ferry system will expand toll collection to major routes including Currituck-Knotts Island, Bayview-Aurora, Hatteras-Ocracoke, and Cherry Branch-Minnesot Beach — adding to existing tolls on Ocracoke and Southport-Fort Fisher. Funds will go toward new boat purchases, with a $150 annual commuter pass available for military and coastal residents.
