- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, let's do it, friends.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Welcome to Wednesday.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Thank you for starting with us.
- 0:06Speaker 4: Ricky's got those three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 0:09Speaker 5: Robert Pattinson was bribed to start in primetime with 200
- 0:15Speaker 5: Zinc canisters. Originally, Robert was just planning on staying behind
- 0:18Speaker 5: the camera as a producer, but the director, Lance Oppenheim,
- 0:22Speaker 5: he was determined to have him star in the movie.
- 0:25Speaker 5: So he took advantage of Rob and his nicotine addiction.
- 0:29Speaker 6: At this time, the U.S. had a shortage in Zins.
- 0:33Speaker 5: So he had a friend from Canada send 200 canisters
- 0:36Speaker 5: to Robert's home in Los Angeles, then.
- 0:38Speaker 6: Dropped off this new draft. They, like, completely... redid.
- 0:43Speaker 5: The script just for robert pattinson and a letter that
- 0:47Speaker 5: said dear chris.
- 0:48Speaker 6: Han zinn oh my god it worked.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Because robert read the new script probably with a fresh
- 0:55Speaker 5: zinn pouch in his mouth and agreed to the role
- 0:58Speaker 5: uh kind of a wild way to get somebody to
- 1:01Speaker 5: be part of your movie but hey if it works
- 1:03Speaker 5: it works i also don't think it's legal to send
- 1:06Speaker 5: things like zinn from canada to the u.s but again
- 1:10Speaker 5: whatever works right by all means A federal audit has
- 1:14Speaker 5: found thousands of delayed mail pieces at a Nashville post office.
- 1:17Speaker 5: So they found 5,158 pieces of delayed mail at the
- 1:21Speaker 5: Church Street post office in Nashville while they did a
- 1:25Speaker 5: July inspection. Managers had not reported the backlog and some
- 1:29Speaker 5: carriers had not completed required undelivered mail forms either.
- 1:33Speaker 6: There are a few other things.
- 1:34Speaker 5: That they noticed about this specific location, which is a
- 1:37Speaker 5: location that I often frequent.
- 1:39Speaker 6: And I've never had an issue personally, but it seems
- 1:42Speaker 6: like something's going on over there.
- 1:43Speaker 5: So just be careful, especially, you know, people are doing
- 1:46Speaker 5: mail-in ballots and things like that.
- 1:47Speaker 6: So we want to be careful about that.
- 1:49Speaker 5: But Tennessee Direct Manager Omar Coleman did say that the
- 1:52Speaker 5: police or the post office has begun taking steps to...
- 1:57Speaker 5: fix what the findings were so that's good and lays
- 2:01Speaker 5: have a new holiday line of chips i'm really excited
- 2:04Speaker 5: to tell you guys about this to see your reactions
- 2:06Speaker 5: it's called hololays okay so it's all holiday themed sitting
- 2:11Speaker 5: shelves this weekend some of them at least so they
- 2:14Speaker 5: unveiled five limited edition flavors roasted holiday turkey cheddar scallop
- 2:19Speaker 5: style potatoes that one sounds amazing to me And maple bacon.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Those are going to be the first releases on October 25th,
- 2:26Speaker 5: which all sound interesting. Specifically, the potatoes sound great, because,
- 2:30Speaker 5: I mean, Lay's are already potato chips.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Potatoes, yeah, yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 6: So the flavoring on that just kind of adds to it. Then,
- 2:36Speaker 6: coming later this season.
- 2:37Speaker 5: We're getting wavy milk chocolate chips and wavy Dubai-style dark
- 2:41Speaker 5: chocolate-covered potato chips.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Okay, I would definitely try those.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Right?
- 2:44Speaker 6: Like, those sound really good to me.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah, same.
- 2:47Speaker 4: I like the sweet and the salty, the chocolate with
- 2:49Speaker 4: a little bit of salt on it.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I think that would be delicious.
- 2:52Speaker 5: Not typically my vibe, but I'm like into it. And
- 2:55Speaker 5: like I said, the cheddar scallop style potatoes. The turkey one, though,
- 2:58Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 2:59Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 2:59Speaker 7: I'll try anything once. I'm not mad about it.
- 3:02Speaker 6: Don't I know it. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are
- 3:04Speaker 6: the three things you need to know.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 3:05Speaker 7: Thank you, Ricky.
- 3:06Speaker 2: We're going to play Bruno Mars right here.
- 3:08Speaker 4: And then in a few minutes, we'll ask you to
- 3:09Speaker 4: call for these Matt Rife tickets. Within 10 minutes, those
- 3:12Speaker 4: can be yours for the first caller of the day
- 3:14Speaker 4: on the river.
- 3:14Speaker 3: They are on the way. Ricky, Zach, and Mano in
- 3:17Speaker 3: the morning.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Cat's Eye on 107.5 The River. We've got Matt Rife
- 3:21Speaker 4: tickets for the first caller of the day right now.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Matt Rife, comedian and horror aficionado, is coming to town.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I think he bought the Annabelle doll, didn't he?
- 3:30Speaker 6: He did, yeah.
- 3:31Speaker 5: That was like a whole thing that he had talked
- 3:33Speaker 5: about on one of his specials.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Pretty wild, yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:36Speaker 6: I love horror.
- 3:37Speaker 7: I love spooky.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I love Halloween.
- 3:40Speaker 6: That's a little too far for me.
- 3:41Speaker 4: I don't want to have that in my possession. Hey,
- 3:43Speaker 4: that was a double meaning there.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Doll yeah uh but if you want to see him
- 3:48Speaker 5: hopefully he's not possessed during the show 615-737-9107 for these
- 3:52Speaker 5: tickets to see matt rife on.
- 3:54Speaker 6: The 24th at bridgestone arena we're chatting with.
- 3:57Speaker 4: The next first caller of the day here's a jingle
- 3:58Speaker 4: ball artist it's alex warren on the.
- 4:00Speaker 3: River Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 4:03Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 4:04Speaker 6: Rhiannon in Glasgow, Kentucky.
- 4:06Speaker 5: I'm going to get right to it because we were
- 4:08Speaker 5: just talking about this. Would you buy a possessed doll?
- 4:13Speaker 5: Because Matt Rife bought like the Annabelle doll and he
- 4:16Speaker 5: like has it in his possession now.
- 4:19Speaker 8: I don't know that I would purposefully purchase one, but
- 4:22Speaker 8: if one ended up in my possession, I don't know
- 4:24Speaker 8: that I would be upset.
- 4:27Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 4:28Speaker 5: If you went to a flea market or like an
- 4:30Speaker 5: estate sale and bought a box and you ended up
- 4:31Speaker 5: going home with a possessed doll.
- 4:33Speaker 6: You'd be fine with that? It depends.
- 4:35Speaker 8: You know, it depends on how it goes.
- 4:37Speaker 9: Some are good, some are bad.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I don't even want to be in that thing's, like, vicinity.
- 4:41Speaker 4: If there was a museum of horror items, I would
- 4:44Speaker 4: not go in the room with the Annabelle doll.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I don't want to be anywhere near stuff like that.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 4:48Speaker 8: That's no fun.
- 4:49Speaker 7: I just feel like you're actively inviting it into your life. Like,
- 4:53Speaker 7: you buy it, you bring it into your space, and you're, like,
- 4:56Speaker 7: inviting it into all of your personal spaces.
- 4:59Speaker 8: If you're into that kind of thing, I think you
- 5:02Speaker 8: know what protections to put in place before.
- 5:05Speaker 1: You do something like that.
- 5:06Speaker 9: That's fair.
- 5:08Speaker 8: If you don't know what you're doing, you probably shouldn't. Yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 8: if you're prepared.
- 5:12Speaker 5: I feel like you're prepared specifically for these kinds of situations.
- 5:16Speaker 5: I like it.
- 5:17Speaker 8: I have an interest in it, but I wouldn't call
- 5:19Speaker 8: myself prepared.
- 5:21Speaker 6: You like spooky stuff? You like Halloween? You like that
- 5:24Speaker 6: kind of stuff? I do.
- 5:25Speaker 8: I do. It's like my favorite time of the year.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Yeah, we can all agree with that. Well, maybe not Zach,
- 5:30Speaker 4: but Ricky and I are both big fans as well.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Well, Rhiannon, you're going to see Matt Reif on the
- 5:36Speaker 5: 24th at Bridgestone Arena because you are the first caller
- 5:38Speaker 5: of the day on 107.5 The River.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yay!
- 5:40Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 5:42Speaker 6: You are very welcome.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Hey, real quick, before we put you on hold, what
- 5:45Speaker 4: kind of protections would you put in place? What's like
- 5:48Speaker 4: one example of something if you're bringing something haunted into
- 5:50Speaker 4: your house?
- 5:51Speaker 8: This is a little controversial, but I think prayer, you know,
- 5:55Speaker 8: you pray.
- 5:55Speaker 9: That works.
- 5:57Speaker 8: It's a little controversial, so that's all I'll say.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Yeah, no, hey, you have a thing in mind, an
- 6:02Speaker 5: idea in mind of what you would do. Hopefully you
- 6:04Speaker 5: never have a possessed doll within your vicinity. And like
- 6:08Speaker 5: I said before, hopefully Matt Rife doesn't bring his on tour.
- 6:11Speaker 8: Hey, if he does, he does.
- 6:12Speaker 2: If he doesn't, he doesn't.
- 6:14Speaker 10: It's whatever for me.
- 6:14Speaker 2: All right, we're going to put you on hold, okay?
- 6:17Speaker 8: Thank you, guys.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Thank you. Thanks for starting your day with us. More
- 6:20Speaker 2: of these tomorrow.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 4: My son just destroyed something at home that I wish
- 6:26Speaker 4: he had not, but... It's for like the best reason.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I can't get mad at him. He did it for
- 6:31Speaker 2: a good reason. How old is he again? He's eight.
- 6:34Speaker 7: He's eight. I feel like that's what eight year old
- 6:36Speaker 7: boys do. They just destroy things.
- 6:38Speaker 5: I just think whatever this is, did something to him
- 6:40Speaker 5: and they deserved it. Riley does no wrong in my eyes.
- 6:44Speaker 2: That's fair. That's fair.
- 6:45Speaker 4: But yeah, he took the scissors to something that he
- 6:47Speaker 4: should not have.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I will tell you right after.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 2: He went for it. He got it up. I'll tell
- 6:52Speaker 2: you next on The River.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 6:56Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 6:57Speaker 5: I'm just going to go ahead and flat out say
- 6:59Speaker 5: that whatever you tell us, Kevin, that Riley, your son,
- 7:03Speaker 5: had done to upset you guys with a pair of scissors,
- 7:05Speaker 5: apparently he destroyed something.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 7:07Speaker 6: I'm already on his side because he can do no
- 7:09Speaker 6: wrong in my eyes.
- 7:10Speaker 5: Both of your kids, this is the fun part about
- 7:12Speaker 5: being us.
- 7:13Speaker 6: We get to defend them in everything.
- 7:16Speaker 5: It's Ricky Zaccomano in the morning on 107.5 The River.
- 7:19Speaker 5: We are not directly impacted by any of the decisions
- 7:22Speaker 5: that they make. So I will always defend both Riley
- 7:24Speaker 5: and Molly to the death.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's fair.
- 7:27Speaker 4: And I do think after I tell you what he cut,
- 7:30Speaker 4: you're going to like it.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Like, you're not going to.
- 7:34Speaker 5: So I'm both going to defend him because he's Riley,
- 7:36Speaker 5: and I'm going to enjoy this story so much that
- 7:38Speaker 5: I'm going to defend him again.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Because it's for a very cool reason. It's for a
- 7:41Speaker 2: cute reason.
- 7:42Speaker 7: Okay, so it's not his or his sister's hair.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It's not hair. Okay.
- 7:46Speaker 3: No.
- 7:47Speaker 4: They're currently doing this read-a-thon at school, and they're both
- 7:51Speaker 4: so into it. They're so competitive, and they both like
- 7:53Speaker 4: to read. They genuinely like to read all the time.
- 7:55Speaker 4: But they have to log all their minutes every day,
- 7:57Speaker 4: how much they're reading. And so he has not wanted
- 7:59Speaker 4: to stop reading. He's reading constantly. And so we found
- 8:03Speaker 4: out the other day he came down and he's like,
- 8:04Speaker 4: I found a way to read while I'm in the shower.
- 8:07Speaker 6: In the shower?
- 8:09Speaker 2: What does that even mean?
- 8:10Speaker 4: And he cut two arm holes in his shower curtain.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Just the liner, like the clear liner part, not the
- 8:18Speaker 4: cloth outer part. But he cut two big arm holes
- 8:21Speaker 4: in the shower curtain liner so he could hold a
- 8:24Speaker 4: book while the water is barely touching his body.
- 8:29Speaker 7: Okay, wait. That is quite literally the cutest thing on
- 8:34Speaker 7: the entire planet. I love that he's so dedicated, but
- 8:38Speaker 7: also like, bro, you're not even taking a shower now.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You're just standing there. Wasting water.
- 8:45Speaker 6: Well, I mean, let's be honest.
- 8:46Speaker 5: As much as I love Riley, was he really doing
- 8:48Speaker 5: much of the shower to begin with?
- 8:50Speaker 8: No.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Boys don't know.
- 8:51Speaker 6: How to properly shower.
- 8:52Speaker 2: This does not affect the quality of the shower whatsoever.
- 8:56Speaker 5: I think, honest to God, that is the most genius thing.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Just the way his little brain works in the sense
- 9:03Speaker 5: that he went, oh, the liner's already clear if I
- 9:05Speaker 5: just cut two.
- 9:06Speaker 6: Holes and I make sure the book doesn't get wet.
- 9:09Speaker 6: I can keep reading. Oh, my God, I'm dead.
- 9:11Speaker 2: That's amazing. We had to tell him, obviously, like, buddy,
- 9:14Speaker 2: you can't do that.
- 9:15Speaker 4: But, you know, at the same time, we're applauding him
- 9:17Speaker 4: for wanting to read as much as he is.
- 9:19Speaker 6: And also for being really smart.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 6: That was creative.
- 9:23Speaker 7: He's MacGyver.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Yeah, he does love to, like, tinker with stuff and
- 9:27Speaker 4: build little things, so he is kind of MacGyver-ish.
- 9:29Speaker 6: Oh, that's so funny.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Yeah, so that's what he destroyed. I will say, you
- 9:35Speaker 4: keep saying, like, that's what he destroyed.
- 9:36Speaker 7: At least, like, shower liners are pretty inexpensive. Like, you
- 9:39Speaker 7: can go to Ross and HomeGoods and get them for
- 9:41Speaker 7: less than $ 10. Yeah, we will. I mean, we'll replace them.
- 9:44Speaker 7: It's fine. After the read-a-thon is over?
- 9:48Speaker 2: I'm glad it wasn't the actual shower curtain or whatever.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 4: So yeah, we'll let him keep his reading shower curtain
- 9:54Speaker 4: for now. Like you said, as soon as the readathon's done,
- 9:57Speaker 4: we're going to replace it. Hopefully he learned a lesson.
- 9:59Speaker 6: That is so funny to me.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I love it.
- 10:01Speaker 5: I hope he didn't learn any lessons. I hope he
- 10:04Speaker 5: keeps doing silly things like this forever and ever and
- 10:07Speaker 5: ever and ever.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 10:10Speaker 4: So it's just after seven o'clock. Thank you so much
- 10:12Speaker 4: for starting your day with us. Ricky's got those three
- 10:14Speaker 4: things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Streaming services are starting to kind of change the way
- 10:19Speaker 5: that they handle AI songs, which is great.
- 10:21Speaker 6: Spotify has decided to remove.
- 10:23Speaker 5: 50 million AI-generated, quote, slop and spam tracks from their
- 10:28Speaker 5: recommendations because they want to focus on promoting music made
- 10:31Speaker 5: by human artists.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Totally makes sense.
- 10:34Speaker 5: They got a lot of complaints from users about the
- 10:36Speaker 5: amounts of AI tracks that were being suggested to them.
- 10:40Speaker 5: It's hard to tell what's AI anymore, especially when it
- 10:43Speaker 5: comes to music. They've gotten very good at copying actual
- 10:47Speaker 5: human artists and making it sound very much like it's
- 10:49Speaker 5: an actual human behind everything. Spotify has also introduced a
- 10:53Speaker 5: labeling system It keeps AI Music X out of recommendations
- 10:57Speaker 5: and editorial playlists by default. But you will know if
- 10:59Speaker 5: they are AI because it'll say AI personas on there,
- 11:03Speaker 5: which I also think great thing to add. Obviously, this
- 11:07Speaker 5: is something that's fairly new. So all of these streaming
- 11:10Speaker 5: services are kind of trying to figure out how to
- 11:11Speaker 5: combat it.
- 11:12Speaker 6: I think this is a great start.
- 11:15Speaker 5: Justice Jam is happening next Tuesday on the 27th at
- 11:18Speaker 5: Cannery Hall.
- 11:19Speaker 6: I'm really excited for this. It's for a great cause.
- 11:21Speaker 5: The Tennessee Innocence Project and the Washington Innocence Project have
- 11:24Speaker 5: teamed up to create this benefit concert featuring some awesome
- 11:28Speaker 5: artists from a bunch of different genres. Mike McCready from
- 11:31Speaker 5: Pearl Jam is headlining with Dierks Bentley. Others on the
- 11:34Speaker 5: lineup include Wyatt Flores, Terry Clark, the McCrary Sisters, and
- 11:38Speaker 5: a bunch more. You can get tickets at AXS.com. I
- 11:41Speaker 5: got the opportunity to talk to Mike about.
- 11:44Speaker 6: This, which was really cool.
- 11:46Speaker 5: So if you get a chance, you can also check
- 11:48Speaker 5: out that interview. It's up on 107.5 The River's Instagram
- 11:51Speaker 5: page and also in the YouTube that we have as well.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Just such a nice guy. And this is really, truly
- 11:57Speaker 5: for such a great cause. I will be there on Tuesday.
- 11:59Speaker 5: So if you decide to get tickets and you see
- 12:01Speaker 5: me there, make sure you say hi. And there's this
- 12:04Speaker 5: huge meteor shower happening tonight. And if you want to
- 12:08Speaker 5: stay up late, you can see it from Tennessee.
- 12:10Speaker 6: I feel like I'm going to say this wrong. Orionid,
- 12:13Speaker 6: I don't even know how to say it the right way. Orionid,
- 12:16Speaker 6: we're going to go with it. It's going to peak.
- 12:18Speaker 5: That's what they're calling this meteor shower. It's going to
- 12:20Speaker 5: peak here between midnight and 5 a.m. With as many
- 12:23Speaker 5: as 10 to 20 meteors per hour that are possible.
- 12:27Speaker 5: If we have like the great viewing conditions that we
- 12:30Speaker 5: want for tonight. No telescope or binoculars are needed for this.
- 12:33Speaker 5: You just need a dark location. So maybe leave downtown
- 12:37Speaker 5: if this is something that you want to check out.
- 12:39Speaker 6: And quick little fun fact here.
- 12:40Speaker 5: These shooting stars are actually tiny pieces of debris that
- 12:43Speaker 5: are left behind from Halley's Comet.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 12:46Speaker 6: Really wild stuff, man. Space is crazy.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I don't want to talk about it.
- 12:51Speaker 6: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 12:54Speaker 6: need to know.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky.
- 12:55Speaker 4: And I know they say, like, not only do you
- 12:57Speaker 4: need a dark spot, but maybe give it, like, 20
- 12:59Speaker 4: minutes for your eyes to adjust to the darkness.
- 13:01Speaker 6: Yeah, you want to make sure that you can actually
- 13:02Speaker 6: see in the dark.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Don't give up if you're not seeing anything right away
- 13:05Speaker 4: because you need your eyes to adjust a bit.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Appreciate that.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Right after Dominic Fike, we're going to play Taylor Swift.
- 13:11Speaker 2: And then after Taylor Swift... It's time for Zach's Facts.
- 13:14Speaker 2: We're all learning together next down the river.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Class is in session.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Zach's Facts, brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 13:22Speaker 6: On 107.5 The River.
- 13:24Speaker 7: Okay, well, this is a fact and a little PSA
- 13:26Speaker 7: all in one. Did you guys know that if you
- 13:28Speaker 7: recycle an aluminum can, it can save enough energy to
- 13:32Speaker 7: run a TV for about three hours?
- 13:34Speaker 3: Whoa.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:35Speaker 7: So like whenever you recycle, it doesn't require them to
- 13:38Speaker 7: make new aluminum cans. So it saves them from mining
- 13:41Speaker 7: and refining and using a bunch of electricity to do it.
- 13:45Speaker 7: So they just melt down the existing aluminum can and
- 13:47Speaker 7: it saves that much energy. So every single can that
- 13:50Speaker 7: you recycle can save up to three hours of TV watching.
- 13:53Speaker 6: That's awesome.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Recycle, recycle, recycle.
- 13:56Speaker 7: There's your fact of the day.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 14:00Speaker 5: When you're a child, you really just, you don't know
- 14:03Speaker 5: what you're doing sometimes, and that can lead to destroying
- 14:06Speaker 5: things in your home. Zach, I want to hear your
- 14:09Speaker 5: story first. This started because of Kevin, okay? So Kevin
- 14:12Speaker 5: told the story of his son Riley cutting holes.
- 14:15Speaker 6: In the shower curtain so he could read while he's
- 14:17Speaker 6: in the shower.
- 14:18Speaker 2: He's eight years old.
- 14:19Speaker 6: Honestly, genius. I respect that.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Zach, I want to start with you, though, because I
- 14:24Speaker 5: already know this story, and I.
- 14:25Speaker 6: Think it's phenomenal.
- 14:26Speaker 7: OK, well, here's the thing. At one point we were
- 14:29Speaker 7: living in Hermitage and we lived in like a little
- 14:31Speaker 7: duplex that had a fence right between the two houses.
- 14:35Speaker 7: So I was in the front yard practicing soccer and
- 14:38Speaker 7: I thought it would be really interesting to see how
- 14:40Speaker 7: many of the fence posts that I could knock down
- 14:43Speaker 7: with the soccer ball, depending on how hard I kicked it.
- 14:46Speaker 6: So it was intentional what he was doing.
- 14:47Speaker 2: It was intentional.
- 14:48Speaker 7: So I was standing in the front yard, and I
- 14:50Speaker 7: was nailing these things. And I was so excited for
- 14:53Speaker 7: every single one that would go down. I was like, oh, yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 7: got that one, got that one. My mother and the
- 14:57Speaker 7: neighbor were not as happy as I was. I was
- 15:02Speaker 7: so proud, though. But yeah, I destroyed the fence.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I love it.
- 15:05Speaker 4: It's like an arcade game where you're like throwing little
- 15:06Speaker 4: balls at the things and knock them down.
- 15:08Speaker 7: That's great.
- 15:08Speaker 6: I love it because it was intentional.
- 15:10Speaker 5: And it just is very much Zach where he was like, yeah,
- 15:13Speaker 5: those fence posts, those are mine now.
- 15:15Speaker 6: I'm knocking them down.
- 15:16Speaker 1: God.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Kevin, you kind of.
- 15:19Speaker 5: Teased us with a little bit of a story between
- 15:21Speaker 5: you and your brother. Both of you have destroyed something,
- 15:23Speaker 5: you and your brother.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Well, my brother did something intentional like my son did
- 15:27Speaker 4: with the scissors. He had like a report for school.
- 15:29Speaker 7: He was older, too.
- 15:30Speaker 2: He had to be like in high school. And he
- 15:32Speaker 2: was making this.
- 15:33Speaker 6: Oh, you're calling him out, right?
- 15:35Speaker 4: He was making like this poster board thing about whatever
- 15:37Speaker 4: historical subject he was covering. And he went and he
- 15:41Speaker 4: cut a bunch of pictures out of our encyclopedias. And
- 15:43Speaker 4: back in the day, a nice set of encyclopedias.
- 15:46Speaker 2: That was a thing. That was like a status symbol.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Like, you know, we had them displayed in the living
- 15:50Speaker 4: room and he cut so many pictures out of these encyclopedias.
- 15:53Speaker 7: And I kind of feel bad for him because he
- 15:56Speaker 7: probably got in trouble for doing it. But also he
- 15:58Speaker 7: was just trying to do his homework. Like he was
- 15:59Speaker 7: trying to do a good thing, not realizing that it
- 16:02Speaker 7: was actually destroying it.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but again, he was in high school. He probably
- 16:05Speaker 2: should have known better.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Okay, well, well, well, Kevin, what did you destroy before
- 16:10Speaker 5: we get all, you know, high.
- 16:11Speaker 6: And mighty here?
- 16:11Speaker 4: Mine was an accident, and it happened multiple times. My
- 16:15Speaker 4: dad would ask us to mow the grass, mow the
- 16:18Speaker 4: backyard sometimes, and multiple times. I ran over baseballs and
- 16:22Speaker 4: like cut up the blades of the lawnmower and he
- 16:25Speaker 4: had to get the blades replaced.
- 16:26Speaker 6: Another very expensive mistake.
- 16:28Speaker 7: Kevin, yours is much worse.
- 16:30Speaker 4: I was a dummy that wasn't like looking ahead of
- 16:32Speaker 4: the lawnmower to see what was coming.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I was just an idiot out there. Yours is so
- 16:36Speaker 2: much worse. Now as a parent.
- 16:39Speaker 7: It's more expensive.
- 16:40Speaker 2: At the time, I was like, all right, Dad, whatever. Okay, sorry.
- 16:44Speaker 4: But now as a parent, I would be so mad
- 16:46Speaker 4: if that happened.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Oh, my God. I got to call my dad after
- 16:49Speaker 2: the show.
- 16:49Speaker 6: That's what happens as you get older.
- 16:51Speaker 4: I know we've got Austin on the line. We're going
- 16:53Speaker 4: to talk to him in a minute, too. But, Ricky,
- 16:54Speaker 4: did you destroy anything?
- 16:56Speaker 5: Yeah i'll share it after austin okay good ricky you
- 16:58Speaker 5: got yeah yeah yeah i didn't think that there was
- 17:00Speaker 5: anything and my mom didn't actually get mad at me
- 17:03Speaker 5: for doing this so i was like oh i didn't
- 17:05Speaker 5: destroy anything but i know both of you are gonna
- 17:07Speaker 5: lose your minds when.
- 17:08Speaker 6: I tell you what i did i can't wait we're.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Gonna talk to austin we're gonna get ricky starting if
- 17:11Speaker 4: you have anything to share 615-737-9107 ricky zach and mano
- 17:13Speaker 4: in the.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Morning On 107.5 The River.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Austin in Nashville, thanks for hanging on the phone, bud.
- 17:21Speaker 4: We're talking about the things we destroyed intentionally or unintentionally
- 17:26Speaker 4: as kids at home.
- 17:27Speaker 2: What did you do?
- 17:28Speaker 10: Well, you see, there was.
- 17:33Speaker 11: A very sweet old couple that would babysit me when
- 17:36Speaker 11: I was much younger on occasions. and my father left
- 17:39Speaker 11: me unattended one day, and I somehow made my way
- 17:43Speaker 11: over across the street to their house, got into their garage,
- 17:47Speaker 11: found a can of white spray paint, and spray painted
- 17:52Speaker 11: his Harley.
- 17:54Speaker 6: His Harley, his motorcycle?
- 17:57Speaker 5: Yeah. Austin, how much money was that motorcycle? Did you
- 18:00Speaker 5: ever find out?
- 18:01Speaker 1: No.
- 18:01Speaker 7: Okay, you just know.
- 18:04Speaker 10: It was expensive. I just know it was expensive, but
- 18:08Speaker 10: to be fair, also went back to the house.
- 18:12Speaker 11: And spray painted the side of the house.
- 18:14Speaker 10: I was a little tagger and I don't.
- 18:15Speaker 11: Even remember doing this.
- 18:17Speaker 10: And it's just, they had pictures of me, not even,
- 18:20Speaker 10: I probably couldn't even been three or four.
- 18:23Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Austin.
- 18:25Speaker 6: So your little three-year-old self walked on over. Where were
- 18:29Speaker 6: your parents?
- 18:29Speaker 2: What were they doing? He says dad left him unattended.
- 18:32Speaker 2: That's on bed. If you're three years old, they got
- 18:34Speaker 2: to keep an eye on you.
- 18:36Speaker 11: Mom was at work.
- 18:38Speaker 10: Dad was probably, knowing him, he was probably taking a
- 18:41Speaker 10: nap thinking that.
- 18:41Speaker 11: I wasn't going to do anything because I didn't do
- 18:43Speaker 11: anything up until this point.
- 18:45Speaker 2: It was just the one day.
- 18:46Speaker 10: He picked the wrong day.
- 18:47Speaker 6: This is dad's fault. I don't even think it's your fault, Austin.
- 18:51Speaker 3: We'll go with that.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Thanks for calling us and appreciate you sharing that with us.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Thank y'all. Have a good day.
- 18:57Speaker 6: My situation was similar to Austin's.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:59Speaker 2: What did you destroy?
- 19:01Speaker 5: I destroyed the entire hallway in my home at my
- 19:06Speaker 5: mom's house.
- 19:06Speaker 1: How?
- 19:07Speaker 5: I drew all over the walls because I figured, oh,
- 19:11Speaker 5: she would love if I drew her a picture on
- 19:14Speaker 5: the wall that she could see every day.
- 19:16Speaker 3: That is sweet.
- 19:18Speaker 6: And that's why I drew on the walls.
- 19:19Speaker 5: I didn't realize that that was like a bad thing
- 19:21Speaker 5: to do or that you weren't supposed to do it.
- 19:23Speaker 6: So that's why I did it. And my mom was
- 19:25Speaker 6: not mad.
- 19:26Speaker 5: So that's why I originally was like, I've never destroyed anything.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Those messed up walls were like that for decades.
- 19:33Speaker 6: My mom never painted over it.
- 19:35Speaker 4: I think that's very sweet that your mom didn't get
- 19:37Speaker 4: mad at you and she saw the charm in it.
- 19:40Speaker 6: Yeah, she was like, whatever. It's just a wall.
- 19:42Speaker 5: I can paint over it if I want to. It
- 19:43Speaker 5: wasn't a big deal. But it was all over the
- 19:47Speaker 5: entire hallway both sides had drawings.
- 19:50Speaker 7: And they were not good what were they drawings of
- 19:53Speaker 7: just like.
- 19:54Speaker 5: Squiggles and like little tiny like swirls and stuff i
- 19:58Speaker 5: have no.
- 19:59Speaker 6: Idea why you're.
- 20:00Speaker 7: Expressing your artistic freedom i was i was so innocent
- 20:03Speaker 7: you didn't know any better Dawn is calling from Hermitage
- 20:07Speaker 7: right now.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Dawn, did you destroy something?
- 20:09Speaker 8: Yes.
- 20:10Speaker 9: I used to love the.
- 20:11Speaker 12: When I was little, I caught the carpet on fire.
- 20:14Speaker 3: What?
- 20:16Speaker 1: Yes.
- 20:16Speaker 12: So I destroyed the carpet.
- 20:18Speaker 9: And then when we got older, I got maybe seven,
- 20:21Speaker 9: we went and moved out in the country and we
- 20:23Speaker 9: were building a house. And I thought the house across
- 20:27Speaker 9: the street hadn't been built yet. And it had hay
- 20:30Speaker 9: in it. Like hay in the bottom... So I thought
- 20:33Speaker 9: I'd go over there and start a little fire.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Oh, my God. You're an arsonist.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 20:41Speaker 12: I was only seven years old. And thinking it was just,
- 20:45Speaker 12: you know, I was covering myself up.
- 20:48Speaker 9: I don't know what. I had a piece of plastic.
- 20:50Speaker 11: I can't remember.
- 20:51Speaker 12: Not thinking the whole thing was going to catch on fire.
- 20:56Speaker 12: So I'm trying to put it out with this plastic thing.
- 20:59Speaker 12: My parents never found out.
- 21:02Speaker 7: So you burned the entire house down?
- 21:05Speaker 12: No, just the hay in the barn. There was no wood.
- 21:10Speaker 12: There was no wood.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Oh, my goodness.
- 21:12Speaker 5: Don, we're keeping all fire away from you. You are
- 21:14Speaker 5: not allowed to have a lighter, matches, nothing.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Yes.
- 21:20Speaker 5: I'm happy nothing bad happened in both accounts, though.
- 21:23Speaker 6: Thank God.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Thank you for telling us the tale of you burning
- 21:25Speaker 4: down an entire neighborhood.
- 21:27Speaker 3: I think.
- 21:27Speaker 7: Bye, love.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Love you guys. We love you.
- 21:32Speaker 4: See, Ricky, yours is not bad. My son Riley's not bad,
- 21:35Speaker 4: you know.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I feel better after talking to Dawn.
- 21:38Speaker 6: In comparison.
- 21:41Speaker 2: We've got Predators tickets. If you want those, get them
- 21:43Speaker 2: next with Game of the Day.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 21:46Speaker 2: You guys ready?
- 21:46Speaker 8: You guys have to be ready.
- 21:47Speaker 5: We're going to play Kevin Mano's Game of the Day
- 21:50Speaker 5: on 107.5 The River. It's Preds Ticks or Breadsticks. Tickets
- 21:55Speaker 5: to see the Preds.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Great game.
- 21:57Speaker 7: This weekend on the 25th.
- 21:59Speaker 6: It's just, it's a ridiculous game, Kevin.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Let's see how Janisa feels about it.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Janisa in White House is in the car right now
- 22:05Speaker 4: with a couple of kids. We have Mila and Rika
- 22:06Speaker 4: in there as well. How do you guys feel about
- 22:09Speaker 4: this game this week?
- 22:10Speaker 3: We are so excited.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Right, girls?
- 22:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:14Speaker 6: Oh, the little voices.
- 22:15Speaker 4: I think those girls, they said, yeah, they seem so
- 22:17Speaker 4: enthusiastic because they like this particular game.
- 22:19Speaker 6: Oh, yeah. Okay, Kevin.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Whatever makes you feel better inside.
- 22:24Speaker 6: Let's start the game.
- 22:25Speaker 1: All right.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Janice, you got to get two out of three of
- 22:27Speaker 2: these right.
- 22:27Speaker 4: You either fill in the blank with Preds Ticks or
- 22:30Speaker 4: Bread Sticks, okay?
- 22:32Speaker 6: Okay, got it.
- 22:32Speaker 2: All right, here we go. Your game starts right now.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Oh, I'd love to crash your ex-wife's wedding with you
- 22:39Speaker 4: Friday night.
- 22:40Speaker 2: But I've got plans. I've got blank.
- 22:45Speaker 8: It's Pride Stakes, right?
- 22:47Speaker 3: Wait, what? Ready? One, two, three.
- 22:50Speaker 9: It's breadsticks.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Breadsticks.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Yes.
- 22:52Speaker 2: I've got plans going to see the bread.
- 22:56Speaker 7: I mean, that one could have gone either way.
- 22:58Speaker 6: I would say breadsticks could work in that situation, too.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I'm busy.
- 23:01Speaker 7: I'm eating breadsticks. Don't call me.
- 23:03Speaker 6: I'm on my couch eating breadsticks. Don't bother me.
- 23:06Speaker 7: I don't agree with you guys.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 23:08Speaker 6: Either way, Janice, you guys got it correct.
- 23:11Speaker 9: All right.
- 23:11Speaker 2: You need one more.
- 23:13Speaker 3: You know what?
- 23:13Speaker 4: I'm going to change it up a little bit. This
- 23:14Speaker 4: is going to be a little bit more difficult, okay?
- 23:16Speaker 4: We're going to try something new. There's going to be
- 23:18Speaker 4: two blanks, and you got to figure out which one
- 23:20Speaker 4: goes where, all right?
- 23:20Speaker 6: Okay.
- 23:22Speaker 4: I was nervous that they wouldn't let me into the
- 23:25Speaker 4: hockey game because while I was eating blank, I got
- 23:28Speaker 4: marinara sauce on my blank.
- 23:33Speaker 12: Breadsticks.
- 23:33Speaker 9: While you're eating breadsticks?
- 23:34Speaker 7: Okay.
- 23:35Speaker 8: Yes.
- 23:35Speaker 6: I got marinated sauce.
- 23:37Speaker 11: On my breadsticks.
- 23:38Speaker 7: On your breadsticks?
- 23:40Speaker 12: Yes.
- 23:40Speaker 10: While I was eating breadsticks, I got marinated sauce on
- 23:47Speaker 10: my breadsticks.
- 23:48Speaker 3: You know what?
- 23:48Speaker 2: It is a very ridiculous game.
- 23:50Speaker 6: And a long sentence, Kev. You wanted to repeat the sentence?
- 23:55Speaker 1: My God.
- 23:56Speaker 6: You guys got it right.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Woo!
- 24:00Speaker 2: Way to go.
- 24:01Speaker 4: You're going on Sunday to see the Predators.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Against the Avalanche. Nice job.
- 24:05Speaker 9: Yes, thank you so much.
- 24:07Speaker 6: You are so welcome. Thank you, guys. You made our day.
- 24:10Speaker 6: You guys were so fun. We enjoyed playing with you.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Oh, we're glad.
- 24:14Speaker 3: We love you guys. Bye.
- 24:16Speaker 11: Oh, we love you.
- 24:17Speaker 6: Hang on the line so we can get your info, okay?
- 24:18Speaker 1: Okay.
- 24:20Speaker 4: That one really kind of nailed at home that this
- 24:22Speaker 4: is an insane game. To hear the little kids repeat
- 24:24Speaker 4: the sentence back, it just didn't help.
- 24:26Speaker 6: Oh, I'm so glad that now you think it's insane.
- 24:28Speaker 6: I've been screaming this for days.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Well, we're playing again tomorrow.
- 24:31Speaker 6: Be here if you want.
- 24:31Speaker 3: To do it.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 24:34Speaker 4: It is just a couple minutes past 8 o'clock here
- 24:36Speaker 4: on this Wednesday morning. Thank you for starting your day
- 24:38Speaker 4: with us. Ricky's got those three things presented by Mark
- 24:41Speaker 4: Spain Real Estate.
- 24:42Speaker 5: Alex Warren doesn't mind signing your parents' urns.
- 24:46Speaker 6: During his Rolling Stone Musicians on Musicians.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Interview with Megan Maroney, he talked about fans bringing urns
- 24:51Speaker 5: or bags of ashes for him to autograph.
- 24:53Speaker 6: This is a thing that happens quite often to him.
- 24:56Speaker 5: So while this can be really uncomfortable for some people,
- 24:59Speaker 5: he made sure to let everyone know that it doesn't
- 25:01Speaker 5: bother him.
- 25:01Speaker 6: He said, quote, I love it.
- 25:03Speaker 5: You get to keep that person alive with every conversation
- 25:07Speaker 5: and you have this beautiful memory.
- 25:09Speaker 4: I will say, Alex, you know, famously lost both of
- 25:12Speaker 4: his parents when he was younger.
- 25:13Speaker 6: That's where I was getting to.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 25:15Speaker 4: But he has so many songs about living as a
- 25:18Speaker 4: child with no parents. So this, I understand that his
- 25:20Speaker 4: music would resonate with that audience.
- 25:23Speaker 5: So one of the things that Alex has been very
- 25:25Speaker 5: open about is loss and grief as both of his
- 25:27Speaker 5: parents have passed.
- 25:28Speaker 6: Away, as Kevin just said. So it does kind of
- 25:31Speaker 6: make sense.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Yes.
- 25:33Speaker 5: We do have Alex performing at our Jingle Ball on
- 25:35Speaker 5: December 17th. So if you want to see him and
- 25:38Speaker 5: possibly have your loved one's ashes signed, grab your tickets
- 25:41Speaker 5: at 1075theriver.
- 25:42Speaker 6: Com.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Sorry, Ricky, for sort of jumping ahead of your.
- 25:45Speaker 6: Whole thing there. I was literally just about to say it.
- 25:49Speaker 6: Nothing like a man mansplaining.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Oh, God. Oh, no.
- 25:54Speaker 5: New Year's Eve live, Nationals Big Bash announced their first artist,
- 25:59Speaker 5: their lineup for the people who will headline. Little Big Town, Hardy,
- 26:04Speaker 5: and the Red Clay Strays will ring in 2027 at
- 26:07Speaker 5: Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park. After celebrating all night with performances,
- 26:11Speaker 5: they'll end with the iconic music note drop at midnight.
- 26:15Speaker 5: More details and more performers, all of that is going
- 26:17Speaker 5: to be announced at a later date.
- 26:19Speaker 6: So I will keep you updated.
- 26:21Speaker 5: And if you ever wanted to go to a stranger's wedding,
- 26:23Speaker 5: I've got great news for you. I looked right at
- 26:26Speaker 5: Zach because I knew he would love this. A new
- 26:28Speaker 5: website called Not A Wedding Crasher is letting people pay
- 26:31Speaker 5: to attend complete stranger's weddings. So the reason this has
- 26:35Speaker 5: been created is because a lot of times couples end
- 26:38Speaker 5: up with empty seats, last-minute cancellations, people who say they're
- 26:41Speaker 5: going to go and, you know, don't show up.
- 26:44Speaker 6: Happens quite often. But they've already paid for the meals,
- 26:46Speaker 6: the drinks, all the other things. So instead of letting
- 26:49Speaker 6: those spots go to waste.
- 26:50Speaker 5: They can offer to have vetted guests just come to
- 26:53Speaker 5: experience the wedding. Since launching earlier this year, the platform
- 26:58Speaker 5: has attracted thousands of users. People are really into it,
- 27:01Speaker 5: and it seems to be working for both sides.
- 27:03Speaker 7: Zach, I know you want to sign up. I want
- 27:06Speaker 7: to do this so bad, you have no idea.
- 27:08Speaker 6: Sign up.
- 27:09Speaker 7: I'm going to.
- 27:09Speaker 3: See where you can go.
- 27:10Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 27:12Speaker 5: need to know.
- 27:13Speaker 4: God, I don't want to go to my friend's wedding,
- 27:14Speaker 4: because I wouldn't want to go to some random stranger's wedding.
- 27:17Speaker 2: But, Zach, you have fun, buddy.
- 27:19Speaker 7: I feel like it'd be even more fun to go
- 27:21Speaker 7: to a stranger's wedding.
- 27:22Speaker 2: And, Ricky, I'm not really a mansplainer.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Am I?
- 27:24Speaker 2: Please don't put that title on me.
- 27:26Speaker 7: Kevin, you literally just mansplain.
- 27:27Speaker 6: I thought she was done with the Alex Moore thing.
- 27:30Speaker 5: You jumped in the middle of my story to say
- 27:32Speaker 5: the thing that I was about to say.
- 27:34Speaker 2: You're right, I did.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Sorry, there's Bruno.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 27:39Speaker 6: What horror movie do you think you would survive? It's
- 27:43Speaker 6: spooky season.
- 27:44Speaker 5: I've been watching a lot of scary movies to get in, like,
- 27:47Speaker 5: that vibe, that spooky vibe. And some of them are
- 27:51Speaker 5: frustrating to watch because you're screaming at the television.
- 27:54Speaker 6: Like, don't do that, you idiot. You're going to get caught.
- 27:57Speaker 6: He's going to kill you.
- 27:58Speaker 7: Every single time I watch one and they're like, what's
- 28:00Speaker 7: that noise downstairs?
- 28:02Speaker 2: Don't go downstairs and find out.
- 28:04Speaker 5: I'm going to say a very controversial one. I think
- 28:08Speaker 5: I would be able to survive Halloween.
- 28:11Speaker 7: Oh, okay.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Let's play Cat's Eye.
- 28:13Speaker 4: I want to know how you think you could survive
- 28:17Speaker 4: Michael Myers.
- 28:18Speaker 8: Okay.
- 28:19Speaker 2: The boogeyman himself.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Right after Cat's Eye, we're getting into it.
- 28:22Speaker 2: What horror movie could you survive?
- 28:24Speaker 3: Ricky, Zack, and Mano in the morning.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Ricky thinks that she could outsmart Michael Myers from Halloween.
- 28:31Speaker 4: The question is, what horror movie would you survive? And
- 28:33Speaker 4: she said Halloween.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 6: Michael Myers is, number one, slow. And number two... easy
- 28:40Speaker 6: way to kill him would be chop his head off.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah that's so easy so ricky you're just gonna
- 28:44Speaker 4: go out there and chop this gigantic man's head off
- 28:47Speaker 4: do you.
- 28:48Speaker 7: Forget that you're 411 how do you plan on reaching
- 28:50Speaker 7: his head i.
- 28:52Speaker 5: Would i would leap into the air jump and leap
- 28:57Speaker 5: into the air and cut his head off so you're
- 28:59Speaker 5: a ninja now yes okay.
- 29:03Speaker 7: I'm, like, picturing you parkouring this man's body.
- 29:06Speaker 5: I watch Halloween, and I just don't understand how nobody
- 29:10Speaker 5: is thinking to, like, to be a little more aggressive
- 29:13Speaker 5: with him. Like, everyone's like, oh, I'll just stab him
- 29:15Speaker 5: with a knife.
- 29:16Speaker 6: That's not going to work. It never does.
- 29:18Speaker 4: But spoiler alert here, and I don't know how they
- 29:20Speaker 4: explain this, but Jamie Lee Curtis did chop his head
- 29:23Speaker 4: off at the end of, like, Halloween H20, I think, but.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Then he still came back and they made more movies.
- 29:27Speaker 6: Yeah, they never explained how that, like, worked.
- 29:30Speaker 4: It's a bit of a plot hole, so chopping his
- 29:31Speaker 4: head off clearly does not work.
- 29:33Speaker 5: I feel like, okay, chop his head off and then
- 29:35Speaker 5: chop the head in half.
- 29:37Speaker 7: And then pour bleach all over his body and ketchup.
- 29:40Speaker 4: On fire.
- 29:40Speaker 6: And then, yes, burn him down.
- 29:42Speaker 2: You know what horror movie I would survive? What, Kevin?
- 29:45Speaker 3: Scream.
- 29:47Speaker 6: Oh, my favorite one. Yeah, Scream would be an easy one.
- 29:49Speaker 2: You know why I would survive it?
- 29:50Speaker 3: Why?
- 29:50Speaker 2: Because I've never once answered my phone.
- 29:53Speaker 4: If somebody calls me i'm just hitting a little ignore
- 29:56Speaker 4: button so that's.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Such a solid point that's a good one for you
- 30:00Speaker 5: to survive you know i have one that ricky would
- 30:02Speaker 5: not survive whoa whoa why am i catching strays right
- 30:06Speaker 5: now what a quiet place.
- 30:11Speaker 7: He's really coming for you today.
- 30:13Speaker 6: First, he mansplains to me.
- 30:15Speaker 5: Now he's trying to say that I can't keep quiet,
- 30:17Speaker 5: so I would not.
- 30:18Speaker 6: Survive a quiet place.
- 30:19Speaker 2: It was funny, wasn't it? Zach, what would you survive?
- 30:21Speaker 3: None of them. Oh, no, no, no.
- 30:23Speaker 2: None of them.
- 30:24Speaker 6: All of the beautiful people die first. Wow. It's true.
- 30:28Speaker 7: Every single scary movie, the most attractive ones die first.
- 30:32Speaker 2: I'd be out.
- 30:32Speaker 6: That's not true.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Yep, game over.
- 30:34Speaker 7: I'm out.
- 30:36Speaker 6: The dumbest ones die first.
- 30:37Speaker 7: The most beautiful blonde women are always the ones that die.
- 30:40Speaker 5: No, the ones that go, wow, there's this really crazy
- 30:43Speaker 5: noise coming from downstairs that doesn't have any lights that
- 30:46Speaker 5: seem to be working right now.
- 30:47Speaker 6: I should walk in.
- 30:49Speaker 7: And are they not the prettiest ones?
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yes.
- 30:52Speaker 6: No, not always. But they are always dumb.
- 30:54Speaker 7: The most attractive ones die first.
- 30:58Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 30:59Speaker 7: 615-737-9107.
- 30:59Speaker 4: If you think there is a horror movie that you
- 31:02Speaker 4: could survive, we want to know what it is.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 31:06Speaker 5: Summer in Murfreesboro, what horror movie do you think you'd
- 31:09Speaker 5: be able to take on the evil villain?
- 31:12Speaker 13: I can survive Jason Bortese. I mean, I love that
- 31:15Speaker 13: man completely. I can survive Michael Myers. I can survive
- 31:20Speaker 13: Freddy Krueger.
- 31:22Speaker 9: The only one I don't think I'll be.
- 31:23Speaker 13: Able to survive is Jigsaw.
- 31:25Speaker 9: That man's too smart.
- 31:26Speaker 7: What makes you so confident that you can survive every
- 31:29Speaker 7: other scary movie except for Jigsaw?
- 31:32Speaker 13: Michael Myers. He's possessed with his family.
- 31:35Speaker 11: He loves his sister.
- 31:36Speaker 13: Just go away and leave the sister to him.
- 31:37Speaker 9: He's not going to bother you.
- 31:39Speaker 4: So you're going to sacrifice Lori.
- 31:40Speaker 2: You're going to give him Lori, and you're going to
- 31:43Speaker 2: get out of there.
- 31:43Speaker 10: Basically.
- 31:46Speaker 6: Summer's got no regrets about that whatsoever.
- 31:48Speaker 4: How about, let's talk about Freddy, because Freddy gets you
- 31:50Speaker 4: in your dreams. How are you getting away from Freddy?
- 31:52Speaker 13: Freddy Krueger is only going after the families that burned him.
- 31:56Speaker 13: My family is so boring. My mother wouldn't have done that.
- 32:00Speaker 13: I'm off his radar completely.
- 32:04Speaker 6: Okay, but you do think that Jigsaw would be the
- 32:06Speaker 6: one that gets you.
- 32:07Speaker 5: Jigsaw is too smart. He's thinking three steps ahead. There's
- 32:10Speaker 5: no way that you'd be able to survive that.
- 32:13Speaker 13: Yeah, because Jigsaw and his puzzles is to work together
- 32:17Speaker 13: as a group. And you have a bunch of people
- 32:19Speaker 13: locked into a room that don't know each other. and
- 32:22Speaker 13: they're suspicious, they're not going to work together to survive this.
- 32:25Speaker 13: They're all going to be out for their own. Just
- 32:27Speaker 13: kill me off in the beginning, save myself the trouble.
- 32:30Speaker 10: I get it.
- 32:31Speaker 6: I also, you know, I'm going to go ahead and
- 32:32Speaker 6: be honest, Summer.
- 32:33Speaker 5: I don't think I'd be able to, like, pluck out
- 32:35Speaker 5: my eyeball to get a key or anything like that.
- 32:38Speaker 5: That's how jigsaw works. Like, I don't have the mental
- 32:41Speaker 5: stamina to do that to myself.
- 32:43Speaker 2: You'd just rather check out and say, bye, I'm.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Out of here.
- 32:46Speaker 13: Most of the time, I'm the Hispanic girl. They're the
- 32:48Speaker 13: first one out. Because Hispanics are always the first one. Like,
- 32:52Speaker 13: I can't believe it.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Bye.
- 32:54Speaker 9: Adios.
- 32:55Speaker 13: It was fun.
- 32:58Speaker 6: Adios. Summer, thank you so much for calling in.
- 33:00Speaker 13: Not a problem.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Thanks. Bye, Summer.
- 33:03Speaker 2: I've never seen a Saw movie. I love horror movies.
- 33:05Speaker 2: You've never seen Saw? Not a single Saw movie.
- 33:08Speaker 5: Saw would be horror and also like psychological thriller as well,
- 33:13Speaker 5: because he is maniacal. He is genuinely three steps ahead
- 33:18Speaker 5: in every scenario.
- 33:19Speaker 6: And it's trippy to watch.
- 33:21Speaker 3: 107.5 The River.
- 33:23Speaker 4: It is time for the Ricky, Zach and Mano in
- 33:25Speaker 4: the morning. Word of the day on 107.5 The River.
- 33:28Speaker 4: This is something new we started doing this week at 9.50 AM.
- 33:33Speaker 4: Or 850, excuse me, 850. Ricky went first on Monday.
- 33:36Speaker 4: She taught us the word subterfuge. And then yesterday, mine
- 33:39Speaker 4: was calipygian. And now today, Zach is up with a
- 33:42Speaker 4: brand new word. And Ricky and I will try to
- 33:45Speaker 4: guess the definition.
- 33:46Speaker 7: I have been practicing for the last 24 hours on
- 33:49Speaker 7: how to pronounce this word.
- 33:50Speaker 2: So here we go.
- 33:51Speaker 7: Your word of the day is ultracrepidarian. Ultracrepidarian.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Ultracrepidarian.
- 33:57Speaker 7: What do you think that means?
- 33:58Speaker 2: I think it's somebody that does something, but hold on.
- 34:02Speaker 6: Somebody that does something is very nondescript, Kevin. What in
- 34:05Speaker 6: the world? I think it's an elderly person. Like an
- 34:08Speaker 6: old person? Yeah, another way to say elderly.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 34:11Speaker 2: I think it's somebody that's scared of the dark.
- 34:14Speaker 7: Would you like me to use it in a sentence
- 34:16Speaker 7: or just give it to you?
- 34:17Speaker 6: Let's see if maybe that changes our viewpoint here.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Use it in a sentence.
- 34:21Speaker 7: Don't listen to that dog. He's a furry little ultra-crepidarian
- 34:25Speaker 7: barking advice at the mailman about global economics.
- 34:28Speaker 5: I still think it's about elderly something.
- 34:30Speaker 6: Like something old. Like old dogs bark at male people.
- 34:34Speaker 6: It's an old... It's something that means old.
- 34:36Speaker 7: Oh, I think it's... Oh, or maybe deaf?
- 34:38Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 34:38Speaker 4: I think now based on that whole definition, I think
- 34:41Speaker 4: it's somebody that.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Argues pointlessly kind of, but not exactly.
- 34:48Speaker 7: So ultra crepidarian means someone who gives opinions on things
- 34:52Speaker 7: they know nothing about.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Oh, a lot of those out there.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Yes.
- 34:57Speaker 2: A lot of them.
- 34:58Speaker 7: So yeah, basically someone that will give advice or opinions
- 35:01Speaker 7: on subjects that that is not their expertise.
- 35:03Speaker 5: I really got stuck on dogs and like barking and
- 35:06Speaker 5: like mailmen.
- 35:07Speaker 7: You were really all in on the old people. I
- 35:09Speaker 7: was going to say like.
- 35:10Speaker 5: Dogs you can't see, dogs you're deaf and can't hear.
- 35:12Speaker 6: I was, I don't know why. That's where my brain went.
- 35:14Speaker 4: The second part of the definition about giving it like,
- 35:17Speaker 4: what was the, what did you say? Giving what kind
- 35:18Speaker 4: of advice to the mailman?
- 35:20Speaker 7: Giving, oh, giving advice about global economics.
- 35:25Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 2: See, a dog doesn't know about that.
- 35:27Speaker 6: You don't know that? Have you ever asked a dog?
- 35:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I guess you have a point.
- 35:33Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 35:33Speaker 7: Well, ultra-crepidarian is your word of the day.
- 35:37Speaker 6: And the definition one more time just so we know?
- 35:39Speaker 7: It means someone who gives opinions or advice on things
- 35:41Speaker 7: they know nothing about.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Okay.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Thank you, Zach. See, we're learning here at Ricky, Zach,
- 35:46Speaker 2: and Mano in the morning.
- 35:47Speaker 3: This is good.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Ricky is back up tomorrow with another word. Be here.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
