[upbeat rock music] Good evening, afternoon, morning, sun-shiny day, rainy day, uh, whatever.
• 0:21
It's Full Spectrum Cycling. Show number 131 today. Lucky number. Is it though? Is it really? Why not? Sounds good to me.
• 0:32
You know, we were nomadic for a few weeks, and we did our show from the studio last week, but you know what? It just didn't work very well, so- It looks different... we rejiggerified- It feels different...
• 0:42
the studio this week. [laughs] I think it feels better. Yes. Better vibe. We 90, we 90-degreed everything in the place because it just was a stupid idea the way I had it set up before. [laughs] So
• 0:52
we're still running off battery power and extension cords and hope and dreams, but the fine folks from Crown Electric ran a 200 amp panel today, so I'm thinking we're a month away, but maybe not,
• 1:07
with actual- Of course it will-... electricity... ah, well, ah, well, it should be fine. Don't be stupid. Don't be stupid. Don't be stupid. Uh, I think we're kind of in our normal spots, aren't we? I don't know.
• 1:18
JK to my right. Sure. Tony right across, over there. Yep. And splitting the uprights, the Michigan Football- [laughs] Saint Christopher. Hallelujah. Hey. Hey, hey. How you doing? How about Lincoln, Nebraska boy?
• 1:33
How you doing? Hallelujah. [laughs] Hallelujah. Doing, uh- Well, more recently- Michigan, yeah... more recently Michigan. Not anymore... uh, Lin- Lincoln, Nebraska. Not anymore.
• 1:44
So, uh, uh, Chris just, uh, rolled into town a couple days ago. We were sitting at the bar and I said, "How about being on the show?" And he's like, "Okay." Sounds awesome. [laughs] I'm not sure why he said okay.
• 1:53
[laughs] He's not sure why he said okay, but, uh, but here he is, folks. I, I appreciate you guys. This is really cool, and I, this is, like, actual, like, legit studio. I don't know what... I'm intimidated right now.
• 2:04
[laughs] I'm around a bunch of professionals. Professionals. I don't know about that. Sh- But, uh, we got, we got, uh, in the peanut gallery, we got James, we got Hoski, and we got Sam D just walked in the door. Ooh.
• 2:14
So this is- Yeah... this is probably as many people as ever been in, well- Oh. For sure... at, in the studio, anyway. A bunch of guys. [laughs] A lot of swinging dicks in here. Yeah, that's for sure.
• 2:23
[laughs] Hyper-masculine. Yeah. My testosterone level's huge. [laughs] It's growing. So, uh, Chris, you- Yes, sir... make the noise with the instruments. Uh, yeah.
• 2:37
I kinda wanted to just, uh, pick your brain a little bit about what you do with the, uh, with the guitar and the making of the noise- Yeah... and whatnot. So that's, you know...
• 2:45
I don't know how much biking you've had in your past, but if we do have any- Ah... biking-oriented stuff, we'll talk about that in a little bit. Just tether it slightly. Biking? Cycle, cycling.
• 2:55
Well- Not, not moto-biking. Not, not, not- Exactly... not killing dinosaurs. We're, we're pedaling under our own damn power. My ex, ex, one of my ex-girlfriends back in Lincoln had a, this nice Ele- uh, Electra.
• 3:07
Is that right? Yep. Yeah. Beautiful, like it was, and mile left to the Indian bike, right? And I used to use that, but I used to get so fucking drunk that I'd wreck it, and so I got put on bike restriction.
• 3:16
I ripped the front fender off, so there's my biking experience. [laughs] And I bought a new one. Shut up. Hallelujah. That's, that's all I got for that. There's that. Well- Fair enough.
• 3:25
[laughs] And now on to the music portion of the show. [laughs] No, just tell us a little...
• 3:30
I mean, the, so the, I think the, probably the first time I met you was last year during the show that we did in the garden- Yeah... when you were playing with, uh, Jake Orvis. Yep. And- He plays a ukulele.
• 3:40
I mean, a mandolin. [laughs] Man-dolin. [laughs] He is a man. Um, but, you know, I, I, I know that you've got a bunch of stuff on Bandcamp. Yeah. You got the M-effing motherfucking Saints. Yep.
• 3:53
Um- That's where the stupid nickname comes from. [laughs] Ah, well. So tell us what the, what the, what the music is about and, uh, what you're doing currently.
• 4:01
I know that, uh, maybe fill us in about the COVID scene, 'cause that's kinda- Yeah... took a little toll on your, on your, on yourself and your, your, your- Oh, yeah... history and your, and your whatever. Oh, yeah.
• 4:09
It's been an interesting couple months, guys. Um, anyway, but thank you, guys. This is really cool. For real. I mean, I'll, I'll fuckin'- Thanks for coming...
• 4:16
all fucking jokes aside, like, I really appreciate you guys, and James has become a dear friend of mine now. Um, I was talking to my buddy Nick, uh, who I've been hanging out with and abusing him the last few nights.
• 4:29
Oh, Vegas Nick? Yeah. Yeah. [laughs] He's like- Oh, Bestman. He's, uh- [laughs] Every time we come to town he tries to pawn me off on people because I- [laughs]
• 4:38
He says, like, we're sitting, he's sitting there, he says, "He doesn't get to sleep, and parties too hard and shit." And I'm like, "Well, that's how you s- gonna break a few eggs and make an omelet." [laughs] So, uh,
• 4:48
the Milwaukee thinks they can drink, but that's a challenge. Anyway. [laughs] [laughs] So- Yeah...
• 4:55
speaking of drinking, so Chewy just had his Salon Chair n- Show number 10, and they were talking about drinking and, and how Iowa they think drinks more than Wisconsin now. But- I, I, uh-...
• 5:04
but the Midwest really puts the hammer down on the rest of the country pretty good... well, being a, being, being a Nebraska boy, Iowa, I c- we call them Iowegians, you know. Of course. Yeah. They're, uh,
• 5:15
they're special. [laughs] And they do have the Shark Bus over there, right? You gotta, you gotta take it easy on them. They're not very... [laughs] Yeah.
• 5:22
[laughs] No, it's, it's, it's, uh, to me it's, like, drinks per capita per- Yeah... like, you know, like, or per have to deal with shit. Yeah. I mean, like, deal with Brady Street, deal with yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 5:35
Cold weather and flat, you know?
• 5:36
See, like, like of that- Anywhere it's cold and it's flat you're gonna get drunk a lot and, like, and I, I joke with Iowa- If I could just sit in my house and just get drunk all the time and, like- [laughs] I'm not sure if that's, like, really the bellwether on this one.
• 5:48
Dude, if I, if I could do that and if I could blow myself I'd never leave. I mean, I'd have every- I'd have everything. [laughs] That's a doggie. That's, yeah, that's why- I would fucking be set...
• 5:56
that's why everyone owns dogs and loves dogs. Oh, by the way, this show is not rated for children, and never has been, so- I, we cleared that... it's already explicit on the Apple iTunes, so. You're right, you're right.
• 6:06
We, we- It's already eee. We cleared that, remember? We cleared that. [laughs] I said, "Okay, I, I'm gonna be on this, I'm gonna be able to talk, right?" N- uh, I lo- I love Iowa, though.
• 6:14
Just knock out the Charles- I, Des Moines is a crime scene for me, 'cause I lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, so- Uh, and we got the, the band, the motherfucking Saints, how I got the stupid nickname of Saint Chris, uh, that was formed with my brother back in 1997.
• 6:30
Mm-hmm. And we got fucking kicked out of the town of Lincoln, and we got kicked out of Omaha, so we couldn't really... So we'd go to Kansas City and Des Moines a lot.
• 6:38
And so [laughs] Des Moines was like, there's, there's a high body count there. There, I, I... The thing- [laughs] The, the, the things that have happened. I turned you down 'cause of your jingly chain. Yeah.
• 6:49
[laughs] Oh, jingle- Oh, my- No, not you. Him. Your jingly jangly. The other one. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's one thing. Okay. I got spurs. Well, let's, uh, let's learn a little more about Christopher over here. Yes. Anyway.
• 7:03
Right on. So, uh- [coughs] So you got, so you got booted from Lincoln. You got booted from, uh- Everywhere... well, what about Kansas? Anywhere in Kansas? Kansas City? Oh, fuck. [laughs] Yeah, I do.
• 7:12
The Kansas, Kansas City's another place. Like I say, it's like a crime scene. Used to go there a lot, but Kansas City used to be...
• 7:18
And there's a great fucking place my buddy Travis Fields runs called, uh, The Westport Saloon.
• 7:23
But before this fucking abomination root scene, wannabe punk shit started, when you'd go down to Kansas, we'd play this place like Mike's on Troost where you'd fucking get crack, you could get a hooker. Uh, it was great.
• 7:38
And, uh, I, I- [laughs] Drive-through style... it was fucking awesome. [laughs] Like, Kansas City used to be fucking rough. But I, I love KC. Uh, there's that.
• 7:48
Um, Wichita has been great to me, and unfortunately my, my dear friend Kenny recently got killed in a, in a motorcycle accident, and he's a- Ooh... he was a fucking amazing, beautiful human being. Sorry to hear.
• 7:59
And yeah, and I appreciate that, man. That's us. Dude, yeah, he was... You know, um, uh, Daria's his wife and, and they have a two-year-old kid, and he was- Oh... a fucking... Yeah. Sorry. Drake, Drake's kid.
• 8:08
Not trying to bring things down, guys. No, no, no. Just saying condolences, condolences. That's, that's life. It's been a rough, it's been a rough couple months. Well, yeah. Whoa. But, uh,
• 8:17
but yeah, but Wichita, because of Kenny, was great, and I don't know what's gonna happen there now, but he, he ran two different venues. So yeah, but like, you know, doing this shit since been fucking 16 years old.
• 8:29
I'm 40 now, and I've been through 48 of the 50 states. Nice. [laughs] Doing my own metal film. Ah, you're younger than me. On, on the road making music. I can finger, I can finger wag you.
• 8:40
I, uh, [laughs] well, uh- Only by nine years, but you know. But these are highway miles. [laughs] I'm telling you. Ah, whatever. Those are, those are rough miles. Yeah. 48 out of the 50?
• 8:50
Yeah, never- So it's a- I've got, I've gotten to play Alaska or Hawaii. That's what I figured. Yeah. Uh, same with me, but I didn't play music in any of them. I've just been to them. Oh, yeah.
• 8:58
I, I made a point to do that. I mean, that was a, the big goal. Isn't Alaska like two-thirds the size of the United States? It's fucking huge. Yeah. We were supposed to play there. We were supposed to travel to Katmai.
• 9:07
Why do, why do all my maps and atlases and globes lie to me? [laughs] Why is life so hard? Can't answer that. Yes. Yeah. I did start- Philosophical questions will not be answered on this show [laughs]...
• 9:21
I did start before you guys. Okay. Yes. Uh- JK pregamed a little bit today. Yeah, I pregamed a little bit. Just, just a little bit. Hallelujah. So is there any riding coming up or anything? Hallelujah, brother.
• 9:29
Hallelujah. Uh, yeah. Oh. Saturday is, Saturday is of course the strongman thing. Yep, Saturday. Sunday is the, uh, Chris Cagle slow ass roll, and oh my Lord, how are they gonna do this?
• 9:40
They're going up, uh, Lincoln Memorial. True. I don't know. Are they just closing off Lincoln Memorial? Don't know. Not my- Uh-... not my, not my ride, but- It's very, very-...
• 9:51
I would say if you're in, if you're in town for- They at least have one lane, and if you don't-... on Sunday... yeah, they'll be able to do it. I think that's Sunday, right?
• 9:56
See how Tony tried to get cycling inserted in this show? Yeah. No, I'm doing... I, hey, I did this. [laughs] It's a cycling show, right? Every day cycle. Oh, gosh. Full spectrum cycling. Not so much.
• 10:06
Okay, so sp- What about the clunker? Let's talk about the freaking clunker. Well, you just took one for a ride to go get beer. What do you think of the State Bicycle's clunker?
• 10:15
I didn't leave the parking lot before I went, "Okay, I get it. I'm 10 years old again." That's what we've- That is exactly what you feel like.
• 10:21
I mean, I was immediately taken back to, wait a minute, there's no brake levers. Wait, you know, I'm, I'm sitting on what feels like a BMX bike. Mm-hmm. And I laid a skid. I, I skidded.
• 10:34
I'm like, all right, now this is, this is just- Well, if you skid the bike, you buy the bike. It's kinda like- Oh, is that right? [laughs] Oh, shit. I did not skid. It was gravelly and- So then that... Yeah...
• 10:43
it made a lot of sound but did not skid. Awesome. And then I got to the brewery to get some beer, and it did not skid again. Beer. Ever. That's how you Wisconsinites talk. Beer. Beer. Beer. You like beer. No.
• 10:55
I'm out here in the parking lot. Having a beer. Parking lot. Parking lot. Do you guys got tricycles? That's probably my speed, I think. I need that. We- Big Sexy has a tricycle...
• 11:04
Big Sexy has a trike, but we don't have any trikes right- No trikes here... around this house. But- Well, we got the one over at... Yeah, that's, that you can't ride.
• 11:11
Well, we'll be able to at some point when James gets it all teched up, but, uh, that's the fat tire trike. Yeah. That'll be fun. I know. So we, uh, yeah, we got clunkers. We got, uh... Oh, uh- Yeah. There we go...
• 11:24
so Chewy had his- Chewy. So he, he... Listen to his show that we just posted, uh, uh, last Wednesday, this, this past Wednesday. [laughs] Uh, they, they... It's a good show.
• 11:34
They got a lot of stuff, and they announced that SingleSpeed USA is gonna be in Iowa next year, which is awesome. The car-a. But we are also doing a clunker...
• 11:44
I don't know if I'd call it a clunker showdown, but it's like everybody- What's a clunker?... needs to be riding them. I'm ig- I'm ignorant.
• 11:50
So a clunker would be your kind of old school newsboy bike that has a coaster brake- Sweet... and is very simple, and the modern incarnation- Single speed...
• 11:59
that State is making is very similar except it has knobby tires on so you can take it off road and get all stupid- Oh, man... with a coaster brake.
• 12:05
[laughs] Which is kind of a challenging thing because if you are going down a hill and you need to stop and you set your feet to hit your coaster brakes, a lot of times you have to go faster to go slower.
• 12:16
So it becomes very interesting. It, it can- I really don't like coaster brakes, and this is very troubling thing. [laughs] Personally for me, I, I, uh- What's the maximum weight on that thing?
• 12:26
'Cause I think Sam D needs... Or, uh, Sam D- I don't think so. I think- Sam D's right there... I know. I, he just definitely is under the weight.
• 12:32
I was walking about more like Skinny Man Strong McMahon who came in at 299.2 pounds Um, hey, while you're over there, JK, I'm gonna just do this to get it out of the way real quick here. Uh- Where is it? Where is it?
• 12:45
Oh, perfect. I got it right here. [laughs] Would you please bring the winning beer to the table? Thank you. Top- For the hill We're gonna need one, two, three, four of those. I got one. Oh, shit. I tried to get some.
• 12:56
Mine's fresh. Oh, oh, oh, Tony already has one. Uh, T- Chicken- I'll take one. [laughs] So I have poo-pooed Lagunitas for a long time, even though they make really good beer- Ooh, fancy...
• 13:05
because of the Budweiser- Yeah, because they're owned by Bud... thing. Or is it Coors? No, Budweiser. Budweiser. When you go down to, to Westport, where I was talking about, you get the- I got one, JK... the, their beer.
• 13:14
Oh, yeah? Yeah. Right on. You, they, they give you, they give you this, and they give you Four Roses Bourbon. Top with these. Top. Okay. The whole nine yards. Is that, like, four bucks then or something?
• 13:20
No, they just give it. Well, when you play. [laughs] Ah. When you, when you play, you, you drink for free? No, I don't know. They just, they... I think people just feel sorry for me, and they just give it to me.
• 13:30
[laughs] Nice. But Stereohopic IPA with elixir and Lorale hops. Being an only child. I cannot believe what's happening. It's not a twist-off? What the hell? Okay. All right. We're out of- Tastes like drinking marijuana.
• 13:42
Right? We're still- [laughs] Have I done it? I'm gonna smell it first. Then I'm gonna smoke it. Then I'm gonna drink it. All right. JK's talking to people randomly, and I, I don't know what the hell he's talking about.
• 13:53
I, I've, I've temporarily muted him. Well, he got the mad gains. Look at that. [laughs] He got the mad gains. Fuck. You really- All right... you really, you really muted him? Okay. First of all, I was- We're in trouble?
• 14:04
First of all, I was dreading this moment, so, uh- No... I'm just gonna push a button here, and let's see what happens. Excuse me. Uh, welcome to the radio program, caller. Who do we have on the line?
• 14:15
Did you hit the right bunghole? Hello. It's Big Sexy and Heather. How are y'all doing? We're doing well. We got, uh, the muted JK. Yeah. See? See? Yeah. You can barely hear him. We got, uh, Saint Christopher.
• 14:31
It sound- it sounds chaotic around there. [laughs] Yeah, I know. This is gonna be one of those shows, people are gonna go like, "Why'd I listen to that show?" And we got Tony. What's up, uh, Big Sexy?
• 14:40
I heard you were in South Dakota now. Well, um, Bill, uh, now I'm in Iowa. Oh, I thought we just said South Iowa. Um, but it's all very close around here. Um, I w- I was in South Dakota, and South Dakota was great.
• 14:52
It was awesome. Um, but, uh, there was just, uh, there was like 60 or 70 miles between towns, and I'm like, "Ah, I better keep, you know, keep to the, better keep to the populated area."
• 15:06
And, uh, so now I'm, I'm heading, uh, south, uh, to Sioux City, and then I'm heading south to Lincoln, Nebraska. Atta boy. [clapping] There you go. Yeah.
• 15:16
Uh, by the way- We'll be the tw- We got a- We'll be the, the 28th, we'll be, we'll be the 28th capital We got a, we got a Lincoln, Nebraska, native right here- Yeah, represent... in the studio today. Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
• 15:26
Oh, no shit? Great. You better, you better stop at the motherfucking Zoo Bar, and across the street is Jake's. We can smoke a cigar, and you tell them I said hi, brother. I, I can bare- I can barely make that out.
• 15:36
Will you, will you text- I'm, I speak- Will you text me the address? 'Cause I'll, I'll stop there. I speak Nebraskan. I'm sorry. Yeah.
• 15:41
We'll, we'll, we'll, uh, hook you up with, uh, with Saint Chris's, uh, peoples in Lincoln. Yeah. Definitely. Zoo Bar, Jake's. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
• 15:50
I mean, I mean, my boy in New Orleans has, has family and friends in Sioux Falls, and he's... And, and I'm like, "Hey, you know anybody who'll let me take a shower?" He's like, "Well, I'll check."
• 16:00
But, but, you know, it's like... No, no, but, but he, but he's like, but he, you know, it's like, it's like a friend of a friend. That's kind of awkward, you know? It, it... I wasn't too worried about it.
• 16:11
But I was like, I was like, "Hey, if you got a friend that'll let me shower, fucking for real, dude, 'cause I'm getting, uh, I'm getting the itchy burnies down there." Uh-oh. [laughs] Yeah. It's a thing. Well. Yeah, uh.
• 16:24
Wash that thing off. You'll get a yeast infection. But there's nothing like a shower, man. You know? I mean, I, I, I can- That's true... keep myself clean. I can keep myself smelling okay. Yeah.
• 16:35
But there's nothing like a shower, you know? Or putting on some nice fresh, clean clothes out of the, out of the dryer, you know? It, it... There's nothing like it. But, um, but you know, I mean, it...
• 16:47
That's, that's, that's a luxury where, where I'm coming from. Oh, yeah. I, hey, I can relate. You know, it kinda is. I can relate. [laughs] I, I definitely don't, I definitely don't need it.
• 17:00
I definitely don't expect it, but it's great when I get it. Oh, boy. You know? Yeah, but then a- after Lincoln, after Lincoln and Topeka, I'm gonna go get drunk with my uncle in Kansas City and- Yep...
• 17:12
and, uh- Good boy... and then, um, I'm gonna head up northwest Arkansas. We can go to the AQ Chicken House.
• 17:19
Um, I wanna, I wanna do, uh, uh, I, I wanna time it so I'm at the AQ Chicken House on Wednesday at 7:00 so I can like be like, "I'm eating the best fried chicken in the world, and you're not." [laughs] Nice.
• 17:34
We hope you're calling. The, the, look it up. The A, the AQ Chicken House in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is the best fried chicken in the world, I promise you. I don't know.
• 17:46
I've, I've never tasted fried chicken like that before in my life. What? We... Yeah. There's chaos going on in here today. It's, uh, it's kind of a, you know- Yeah... hard to hear you. You're, you can't hear us.
• 17:56
Let's, uh, let's catch up in another week or so. But, uh, keep on riding and- Yeah... uh, have a good time and get some more stories. And maybe, maybe put together a little, uh, you know, best of the...
• 18:07
in, in three minutes time when we can catch up with you next time. [laughs] Sounds good. Sounds good, Sven. All right, Sexy. Love you, man. We love you. Hey, you, you guy- you guys, I can't, I can't thank you enough.
• 18:20
I, I love, I love talking to you on a, on a week-to-week basis. I, um, y'all have a good time. You too, man. All right, man. Have a good ride, bro. All right, see yous. Big Sexy out
• 18:32
Well, that was big sexy, ladies and gentlemen. [laughs] Can we come back to play- [laughs] It's, it's very hard to- Can I come back to play- I was gonna- No, it's very hard to keep the chaos at a minimum.
• 18:40
I was gonna tell you about the fucking- Can I come back to play? Yo, hell yeah. Awesome story about- Yeah, let's head back here... the sewer, man. Ee. I was gonna tell you about that.
• 18:45
That's where- Oh, yeah, the, uh, shit... the sewer. They call the sewer city, they call it, like we call it the sewer city. Mm-hmm. 'Cause it fucking literally smells like a fucking sewer.
• 18:53
[laughs] There was shit right there, right? And anyway, I fucked the two fattest, ugliest women you ever seen, and that's where I got my nickname on the road was the Hog Whisperer. So, I was gonna- [laughs]
• 19:04
This- There's that... there's that. There's that. And is it, is it better or worse than sewer, than, uh, than, uh, cedar rancid? Is- [laughs] 'Cause cedar rancid does stink pretty well too. Yeah. Uh, yeah.
• 19:16
There, well, I mean, like I say, once again, I, I always tell people- [laughs]... they go, "What's, what's in Nebraska?" I go, "Corn, Republicans, and meth."
• 19:23
[laughs] I can show you all the meth, uh, labs right along the river there in Des Moines- Oh, yeah...
• 19:28
because I used to ride those trails on the bike, and you'd be going by some place and some guy'd be like, "Hey, you gotta get out here. It's private land." I'm like, "Okay."
• 19:35
I probably, I probably, I probably been to- So, yeah... his meth lab. Yeah, don't, don't, don't slow down. I might've taught them the recipe. Again, I'm fucking from Nebraska. [laughs] I mean- Man, yeah.
• 19:45
[laughs] Just being honest. This is, uh- This is like- This is a good, this is a good, uh, test- This is like Breaking Bad... test of the studio right now. Yeah.
• 19:55
[laughs] Seeing that we got, uh, we got the, we got the guys next door to us banging. It, I think it was almost like we had the, the brothers driving by in the car going boom, boom, boom, and then we had the...
• 20:05
[laughs] It's you guys. It's a hell of a story. Well, then last week- Good story... it was Gold. Oh, yeah. Yeah, they played Summerfest. It's like, wow. It's fantastic. It, it sounds like Gold. It sounds like Gold.
• 20:17
Oh, it's Gold. So, okay. [laughs] So, real quick, real quick on the last weekend when I didn't make it to Daikaiju. Ugh. I'm sorry. Let's, so every- I think everybody else in the room here,
• 20:28

• 20:45
I really thought I had, like, pole position. I agree. As soon as they walked out and, like, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, out, and they never went outside.
• 20:57
I thought I was being clever and wise and, you know, age comes wisdom and- Right... fucking shit like that. Nope. Well- And Buddy's, oh, thankfully Buddy's had pictures. It was Dinger. It was a Dinger. A Dinger. Yeah.
• 21:11
Well, no, they had pictures- Yeah... and it was awesome. And so, yeah. Oh, that's the ding is the, is the fight club. Oh, yeah, those. So, we have a fight club here where they train.
• 21:19
And then they switch positions when the ding happens. And they, and when it dings they move to the next station. That's what that is. I thought it was somebody's phone. I'm like, ding.
• 21:25

• 21:44
I went in there ready to be underwhelmed because, well, whatever. But it turned out to be a pretty darn decent show, gosh darn it. Sweet. They, uh, they had, they had Duff McKagan, they had Slash, they had freaking Axl.
• 21:58
And by God, those guys are in shape because I used to see kind of a fat Axwell walking around. Axwell? Axq- Axqwel? But he is now, like they all, like I don't know if they took COVID- Axqwel, Axqwel, Axqwel.
• 22:08
I, I don't know if they took COVID to get, like, in shape or- I don't know... what they did when they were off the road for a year. Drugs. But everybody, yeah, maybe a lot. The real question is- I don't know...
• 22:17

• 22:45
The, I, I mean, I, I seen them in '92 and they fucking sucked Body Count open then blew them off the stage. Yes. Oh, that I know. Yeah. Yeah.
• 22:54
And then I seen, then I, then I seen them in '93 and they were actually awesome 'cause they realized their, they had their head so far up their fucking ass. They stopped the stupid pyrotechnic, blah, blah, blah. Mm-hmm.
• 23:03
And they came out and they did a whole set. Lights went down, and then they did a fucking 45 minute set of nothing but GNR lies, the acoustic set. It, I'm getting goosebumps talking about this. Oh, nice.
• 23:14
Like, like that- Nice, nice, nice... it, it was a fucking shit... Mm. No one can tell 'cause you have so many tattoos. Yeah. You know those are the work of the devil, right? I j- well, that's...
• 23:23
[laughs] Where do I start? I can... [laughs] I'll tell you- How, how many states are the tattoos from? Uh, California, Nebraska. Yeah.
• 23:33
The, uh, Mon- this one here, fucking, there's a Montana one, the no rules in the mountain tour. Nice, nice. Flatlander, that's another one when I was out there in the mountains 'cause I drive so terribly.
• 23:43
Uh, they drive the- Oh, yeah? Nice... I drive the band through the mountains, and they'd fucking be th- bl- blood plus I've only fucked. [laughs] Uh, there's that. Um, that was in St. Louis.

I'm just gonna relax here. James, he's got his shirt off now. Uh, this one was from- Just in case you want a tape. [laughs] Where the fu- where the fuck was that? That was, uh- [laughs]
• 24:09
Uh, yeah, the James Gang, go ahead. Oh. I'm such a piece of trash. I have a Metallica tattoo. Oh, yeah. Metallica. Oh, pa- apparently they played, uh- Metallica... they played last night in, in Chicago.
• 24:22
Yeah, in, yeah, at the Metro. At the Metro for 1,000 people. The Metro. Really? Yeah. Spur of the moment show. The Me- yes, the Metallica. Here, James, get a picture. [laughs] Can you... Wow, that's pretty- Well, here...
• 24:33
actually, I would go see Metallica with 1,000 people. Well, you know, with 1,000 people I would do it. Right, yeah.
• 24:37
I don't know I actually have seen Metallica, and I went there because my nephew was a young man and needed to get me into Summerfest. Nobody has to- And I was incredibly impressed... honestly, am I, am I on here?
• 24:51
Um, nobody has to- For the, for the moment. [laughs] Nobody has to, nobody has to explain why they listen, why they were at a Metallica show for any reason, to explain why they were- Thanks, Dad. Just saying.
• 25:04
I mean, if you enjoy it, eh. [laughs] Holy mackerel, we did it again. [laughs] Thank goodness. I, I have no idea how we did it, but- Thank goodness. I prayed to Buddha this morning...
• 25:13
and the peanut gallery's getting all restless over there, and we probably ought to just drink beer and let you fine people go about your business day riding on your commuter train or driving on your commute to work.
• 25:24
'Cause, you know- [laughs] Ride your electric bus to me... otherwise we'd do, like, an hour of this. If I thought people were actually gonna listen for longer than a half hour- Oh, yeah. We care. Let's keep going.
• 25:31
[laughs] This is fucking awesome. Ah! I'd be like, "Oh, shit. Those guys are still talking. Can't believe it." [laughs] I'm having a blast.
• 25:38
It's like Mushroom Weekend, Mushroom Weekend, Mushroom Weekend, Mushroom Weekend. If we're, if we're gonna do that, then we're going for a marathon. Has that happened again?
• 25:45
Mushroom Weekend can happen when Mushroom Weekend can occur. [laughs] Ah, okay. Well, we'll have to talk about that after the show's over. [laughs] Inappropriate. Oh, my God. Appropriate. Or whatever.
• 26:03
Hey, I don't know. There's... I'm gonna go see what... There's a lot of racket in this building today. We should go find out what's going on, 'cause it's probably way more fun than in here.
• 26:10
[laughs] A lot of guys, a lot of guys in here. [laughs] Yeah, yeah, yeah. A lot of dudes. Too many dicks on the dance floor. A lot of dudes. [laughs] I was gonna say, a lot of gear, a lot of dudes. Must be a metal show.
• 26:21
Right, right, right. Too many dicks on the dance floor. Yeah. All right, everybody. Thanks for- Listening, bitch... putting up with us, and, uh, leave your comments in the show notes about- [laughs]...

• 26:41
Before we go, we have a special treat from St. Chris, off his album Last Chance at Freedom. This is The Devil Always Wears a Suit.
• 26:53
Well, all these blacks here as they run from my eyes like the way that I run between women's thighs. It's pretty cliché, the way that I cope. Sweat, blood, sex, and the dope. It's happening, my friend.
• 27:05
Don't you understand? It's like all these black women who will fuck this white man. Not for the power, not for the wine. All for the simple pleasure of dying. Covered with black graveyard dirt.
• 27:23
Our sense is redacted and left perverse. Here at the crossroads,
• 27:38
you go right ahead and you choose. Just know the devil, he always wears a suit.
• 27:55
Yes, serve the Lord, son of sin. Son of a gun, son of a bitch. Give your tithing for Jesus' love. Religion has harmed more people than drugs, wrath, spite, shame, and lust. Praise the Lord, in money we trust.
• 28:12
Above the taxes, above the law. One nation under fraud. Covered with black graveyard dirt. Our sense is redacted,
• 28:31
and now left perverse. Here at the crossroads, you go right ahead and you choose.
• 28:47
  Just know the devil,
• 28:51
  he always wears a suit.
• 30:10
  Talk at you next week.
