  start your day off in a fantastic way.

  Hey everybody, good morning from the chicken coop.

  So I'm in the midst of planting like a mad woman.
• 0:35
  This is my week to do all kinds of chores and plant and have
• 0:39
  fun, to just garden like crazy. And one of the things that's
• 0:45
  happened is I've decided to expand where I'm planting
• 0:49
  flowers and pulling things in. I've decided to make a couple
• 0:53
  more frog condos, which are always fun for me to make.
• 0:58
  I will be shooting videos of them so that everybody can see
• 1:00
  them. And I've got this crazy idea
• 1:04
  about expanding the flower area by putting down cardboard and
• 1:07
  then mounding up fresh dirt that I'm going to go pick up in the
• 1:11
  pickup truck, shovel it out onto it, trying to envision how I'm
• 1:16
  going to keep the chickens out of it, which is always a
• 1:18
  challenge, and growing some really different things.
• 1:21
  And one thing that has come up is like, I, I love the girls
• 1:25
  having fresh greens and, and doing all this.
• 1:27
  I just don't want them digging in my stuff, But I, I love
• 1:30
  putting stuff into their coop area.
• 1:32
  So I'm working on giving them space where I can grow fresh
• 1:37
  herbs for them and then they can dig into them if they want to or
• 1:40
  not. I'm getting them a dust bath.
• 1:43
  That would be pretty tremendous for them to be able to have this
• 1:46
  bigger in the tub dust bath because that matters to them.
• 1:51
  Like they'll do it in the dirt anywhere.
• 1:52
  But you know, I can add other things in like the first lime
• 1:56
  for them. And if I we burn any burn piles
• 2:00
  that have just wood in them that they can absolutely take that
• 2:03
  ash. They love the ash.
• 2:06
  So all of this I'm sharing with you as to say, hey, this is my
• 2:12
  idea of the vacation. And I know it sounds really
• 2:16
  insane to think of that, but it really is.
• 2:18
  And it's something that brings my heart joy to be able to come
• 2:22
  out and just be wildly creative. So that is what is happening
• 2:25
  here. I am being wildly creative, just
• 2:29
  reorganizing, thinking about building a potting shed.
• 2:33
  You know, I have plans that would take months to do and yet
• 2:37
  I'm trying to do stuff in a week.
• 2:39
  Now, one thing that is kind of interesting and showing up in
• 2:44
  the process of this, besides my creativity coming off the hook,
• 2:47
  is that my plants that I started with the new potting soil that
• 2:52
  we talked about are going crazy. It really does work.
• 2:55
  They are growing like weeds. They are giant and I got to get
• 3:00
  them out sooner than I thought. And it's still chilly here at
• 3:02
  night. So it's interesting because my
• 3:06
  wishes were granted and now I'm like panicking over the
• 3:11
  consequences. So I'm moving some stuff around,
• 3:14
  trying to make room for them, going to be testing them.
• 3:16
  It's supposed to start warming up even, you know, more at
• 3:19
  night. So I'm hoping that is true so
• 3:21
  that we can get them out there. But all of this is to say,
• 3:25
  whatever your type of fun is, this is my type of fun.
• 3:28
  I am exhausted today and it's early in the morning because
• 3:33
  I've been up so early and like just saying and I'm exhausted
• 3:38
  from yesterday's amount of work. And I know it'll pick up like as
• 3:42
  I get going into the day, like that part will, you know, burn
• 3:46
  off and I'll feel amazing because it happens all the time.
• 3:49
  But physically my body's like, Oh my gosh, that was so much
• 3:52
  because of the all the heavy labor that we did yesterday,
• 3:56
  moving pots and, you know, laying cardboard and doing all
• 3:59
  this stuff. And I just feel like, Hey, if
• 4:03
  this is my version of a great vacation and this is what I want
• 4:05
  to do, then that's what I'm going to do.
• 4:07
  And I don't care if everyone thinks it's crazy or it's silly
• 4:10
  or anything else. I'm doing it because goodness
• 4:12
  knows when I get this finished, it's going to feel unreal to see
• 4:17
  it all put together the way I want it.
• 4:19
  So whatever your thoughts are, however you're crazy is,
• 4:23
  whatever you're crazy looks like, do it.
• 4:25
  Because I can promise you, as tiring and as nutty as it feels
• 4:29
  sometimes, it's all worth it. I hope you guys have a blessed
