Speaker 1: Well, folks, it's almost here. We are nineteen days away
0:05
Speaker 1: from the start of this trial, and I for one
0:09
Speaker 1: cannot wait for it to commence. All of the bs,
0:14
Speaker 1: all of the talking, all of the back and forth,
0:17
Speaker 1: all of the nonsense is going right out the window,
0:22
Speaker 1: because guess what, there's gonna.
0:25
Speaker 2: Be a jury of twelve people.
0:27
Speaker 1: They're gonna hear the evidence and they are gonna make
0:31
Speaker 1: the decision. All the talking we have done, all of
0:35
Speaker 1: the conversating we have done, all of the bringing to
0:40
Speaker 1: light we have done. Well, it's all coming down to
0:45
Speaker 1: what occurs in that courtroom starting the twenty ninth. And
0:49
Speaker 1: I have to say, folks, I'm pretty confident that we'll
0:54
Speaker 1: see a conviction at the end of these proceedings. Now.
0:59
Speaker 1: I don't know if it's gonna be all charges she's
1:03
Speaker 1: convicted on or but I have a very hard time
1:08
Speaker 1: wrapping my mind around her not getting convicted, especially when
1:13
Speaker 1: you see what happened with Rainiery and you see what
1:15
Speaker 1: happened with r.
1:16
Speaker 2: Kelly. The precedent is there, the will is there.
1:20
Speaker 1: Now all we're waiting for is the prosecution to do
1:24
Speaker 1: their job. I know it ain't like we're the patriots,
1:28
Speaker 1: right just do your job. Whole different story. We got
1:31
Speaker 1: the prosecution. They're more like the New York Jets. Yeah,
1:35
Speaker 1: you know, bumbling around, can't figure shit out for the
1:38
Speaker 1: most part. Yeah, that's the SDNY these days, folks. Unfortunately,
1:42
Speaker 1: but thankfully, Alison Moe seems to have her head on straight.
1:47
Speaker 1: Alison Moe seems to be like a very go get
1:52
Speaker 1: them kind of prosecutor, the kind of prosecutor that if
1:56
Speaker 1: this was my family who was attacked and abused and
2:00
Speaker 1: trafficked by someone like Epstein and Maxwell, that's the kind
2:02
Speaker 1: of prosecutor I'd want on the case. So hopefully, when
2:07
Speaker 1: the rubber meets the road and all of this gets underway,
2:11
Speaker 1: we get to a point where there's a nice, fat
2:13
Speaker 1: conviction at the end of this. Because I'll tell you
2:16
Speaker 1: what I have as much as I enjoy talking to you, folks,
2:21
Speaker 1: and I honestly really really treasure a lot of the
2:25
Speaker 1: friendships I've made throughout all of this as well, But
2:28
Speaker 1: I can't wait for us to have our last show here, folks,
2:31
Speaker 1: where wrapping this up where we're talking about it on
2:35
Speaker 1: a daily basis. Obviously, I'm never going to stop talking
2:38
Speaker 1: about this completely. Obviously, I'm never going to stop talking
2:44
Speaker 1: about the remnants of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise, and I'm
2:48
Speaker 1: going to continue to push for the people who were
2:52
Speaker 1: involved to be investigated. But when the trial wraps up
2:57
Speaker 1: and Maxwell is convicted, well, we're gonna come to a
3:01
Speaker 1: point where we're gonna have to say goodbye. And I'm
3:07
Speaker 1: not looking forward to it in one regard, right because
3:10
Speaker 1: I really enjoy getting up here and chatting with all
3:13
Speaker 1: of you folks and talking to you about this case
3:16
Speaker 1: and all of that. But on the other hand, this
3:19
Speaker 1: has been a serious grind for me, and it's taking
3:21
Speaker 1: its toll on your boy every day. This kind of
3:24
Speaker 1: depressing shit completely immersed in it. And I know it's
3:28
Speaker 1: nothing compared to what the survivors had to deal with,
3:32
Speaker 1: but from a personal standpoint, it's been a grind, And
3:38
Speaker 1: to be honest, I wasn't ready for it. I had
3:41
Speaker 1: no idea what I was getting myself into when I
3:43
Speaker 1: sat down that first day and recorded the first episode.
3:46
Speaker 1: Zero idea. But guess what, I'm here for it, and
3:51
Speaker 1: I don't think I was meant to be anywhere else.
3:55
Speaker 1: I know that sounds kind of cheesy, right, but I
3:59
Speaker 1: believe I am exactly where I'm meant to be right now.
4:02
Speaker 1: And I know some other people out there, you know,
4:06
Speaker 1: they want this story to keep going forever. They want to,
4:10
Speaker 1: you know, continue to talk about it forever and ever
4:12
Speaker 1: and ever and ever. But for me, I want to
4:18
Speaker 1: get some closure as far as Maxwell getting arrested, right
4:23
Speaker 1: and then with I mean, with her getting convicted, and
4:26
Speaker 1: then from there, I feel like, you know, we have
4:29
Speaker 1: done a real good job bringing light to what's going
4:35
Speaker 1: on here, and once she is convicted, I feel like
4:38
Speaker 1: we're at a.
4:39
Speaker 2: Point where it is going to be.
4:45
Speaker 1: Very difficult for anyone else to get hemmed up, unfortunately, unless,
4:53
Speaker 1: of course, the government wants to follow through with a
4:56
Speaker 1: Rico case. But short of that, Maxwell's going to be
5:03
Speaker 1: the you know, the big piece, the big game, and
5:06
Speaker 1: once that's all said and done, it's going to be
5:10
Speaker 1: a bitter sweet goodbye, folks. And I haven't really ever
5:15
Speaker 1: thought about it, you know, the last episode that we'll
5:17
Speaker 1: have here on the podcast, but the last I don't know,
5:22
Speaker 1: a few days. I have been thinking about it a
5:25
Speaker 1: little bit. And while obviously I'm not going anywhere, I
5:29
Speaker 1: have the other podcast and we'll probably keep it rolling
5:32
Speaker 1: the Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm not going to delete it
5:34
Speaker 1: or anything like that. It just won't be the constant
5:38
Speaker 1: daily updates anymore, unless, of course, always the caveat folks, right,
5:43
Speaker 1: I gotta leave myself the out, unless, of course, something
5:46
Speaker 1: crazy cracks off, new arrests, new information comes to light,
5:50
Speaker 1: whatever it may be, then I'm here for it. Believe me,
5:54
Speaker 1: I'm all going anywhere. I'll be here yap and away
5:57
Speaker 1: on this podcast and of course beyond the horizon, where
6:02
Speaker 1: I do a lot of yapping about other topics, and
6:06
Speaker 1: as you can see, I post a lot of those
6:09
Speaker 1: over here across post them for you so that you
6:11
Speaker 1: don't have to go out and look for them anywhere else.
6:15
Speaker 1: But it's getting down to that point now, folks, where
6:19
Speaker 1: all the talking's pretty much done right, there's really not
6:22
Speaker 1: much more that my fat mouth can provide for you
6:26
Speaker 1: that you do not already know. You're armed, you're ready,
6:33
Speaker 1: and you're willing to go to battle.
6:35
Speaker 2: With these people.
6:36
Speaker 1: And I applaud all of you for your show of
6:40
Speaker 1: courage throughout all of this. When it first started, people
6:44
Speaker 1: were calling us conspiracy theorists and trying to paint us
6:48
Speaker 1: as loans and all of that shit, Well, guess what
6:51
Speaker 1: you hear us now, motherfucker's it was never a conspiracy theory.
6:56
Speaker 1: It was always a criminal conspiracy. And those of you
6:59
Speaker 1: who have hung in there, those of you who have
7:01
Speaker 1: been around through the ups and the downs, those of
7:04
Speaker 1: you who have never made this something that has been
7:07
Speaker 1: you know, a joke to you or it's the payoff
7:13
Speaker 1: is coming, folks, and that payoff's going to be this
7:16
Speaker 1: lady getting convicted. And guess what, I couldn't have asked
7:21
Speaker 1: for better role mates than all of you during this
7:27
Speaker 1: entire fiasco, and all the survivors out there, Jeffrey Epstein
7:33
Speaker 1: survivors and otherwise, you're not alone, not anymore. Whereas before
7:40
Speaker 1: you were screaming into the wind, now your voice is
7:44
Speaker 1: being magnified by millions who stand shoulder to shoulder with you,
7:51
Speaker 1: And I, for one, am I'm happy to see it
7:54
Speaker 1: because for too long we've ignored this problem of domestic violence,
7:59
Speaker 1: and we've ignored the problem of human trafficking, and it's
8:03
Speaker 1: time to man up and you know, start working towards
8:08
Speaker 1: ending that, educating people about how bad these situations are,
8:12
Speaker 1: how prevalent they are, and how brazen these people are
8:15
Speaker 1: who are running these operations. So it has been quite
8:21
Speaker 1: the road, folks. And now we're on the downward portion
8:27
Speaker 1: of this hill, so buckle up, we're still in for
8:32
Speaker 1: a bumpy ride. With that said, let's jump into today's
8:36
Speaker 1: article from ABC News and the headline is Gallaine Maxwell
8:43
Speaker 1: prosecutors spar over testimony on false memories. Well, yeah, like
8:49
Speaker 1: I said, I again, this is my opinion. Right, I'm
8:52
Speaker 1: not a scientist, and I'm lucky I can put my
8:56
Speaker 1: socks on correctly in the morning. But this seems like
9:00
Speaker 1: quackery to me. False memories and all of these like
9:05
Speaker 1: made up mental sciences I'm not a big fan of. Now,
9:09
Speaker 1: don't get me wrong. There is certainly a place for therapy,
9:12
Speaker 1: there's certainly a place for psychology, but there's all these
9:15
Speaker 1: other weird pseudosciences that pop up, and I look at
9:18
Speaker 1: them like chiropractors. Right, all right, you did get a
9:22
Speaker 1: little something going on, but really, you're not fixing my ailment, bro,
9:25
Speaker 1: I have a herniated disc. You might crack my back,
9:28
Speaker 1: but guess what, you're not fixing that herniated disc. And
9:32
Speaker 1: that's the same way I look at some of these, uh,
9:35
Speaker 1: these these I don't know mental doctors or whatever the
9:40
Speaker 1: whatever you want to call.
9:41
Speaker 2: Them, behavioralists or whatever. Who knows. Either way, I look
9:46
Speaker 2: at it as a bit of quackery.
9:48
Speaker 1: So again just my opinion, and I might be a
9:51
Speaker 1: bit ignorant there right, I might not know all of
9:56
Speaker 1: the science.
9:57
Speaker 2: Or whatever, but it's just ridiculous.
10:00
Speaker 1: Every single time you see a case like this, you
10:02
Speaker 1: have people like these specialists who get brought forward and
10:06
Speaker 1: it's the same cast of characters. There's no other doctors
10:10
Speaker 1: out there that can diagnose this. You have the same people.
10:13
Speaker 1: Oh well they worked with Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein. Yeah,
10:17
Speaker 1: how'd that work out. I'm over here saying, yeah, I'm
10:21
Speaker 1: here for it. If those are the specialists that you
10:23
Speaker 1: brought out for Harvey Weinstein and old dick bag Bill Cosby,
10:27
Speaker 1: well yeah, great, bring him out again because they obviously
10:33
Speaker 1: federal prosecutors are seeking to preclude or limit Glenn Maxwell,
10:37
Speaker 1: the alleged accomplice, co conspirator, general all around scuzbag, fellow
10:41
Speaker 1: child abuser and bipedal serpent of deceased sex offender, child
10:45
Speaker 1: abuser pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, from offering expert testimony about false
10:52
Speaker 1: memories of sexual abuse, and about the so called halo effect,
10:57
Speaker 1: a theory suggesting that Epstein he used his brilliance to
11:02
Speaker 1: manipulate people to do his bidding and serve his needs.
11:05
Speaker 1: According to court records, now you see what I've been
11:08
Speaker 1: talking about this whole time. Now, folks, all of this
11:12
Speaker 1: talk that you've seen in the papers about Jeffrey Epstein's brilliant.
11:16
Speaker 2: Oh, he's such a brilliant man. Blah blah blah, blah
11:18
Speaker 2: blah blah.
11:18
Speaker 1: Blah, was all groundwork leading up to this point. Now
11:24
Speaker 1: Maxwell and her team can say, look, everyone said he
11:26
Speaker 1: was so brilliant, he had the halo effect going on.
11:29
Speaker 1: Maxwell was, you know, Oxford educated and around, you know,
11:33
Speaker 1: the most smartest people in the world. But she's dumb
11:36
Speaker 1: enough to get wrapped up in it. Nobody's buying that shit. Okay,
11:40
Speaker 1: I'm not, you're not. The penguins and Antarctica aren't. Nobody's
11:44
Speaker 1: buying it. Bunch of bullshit. Now, from the prosecution standpoint,
11:50
Speaker 1: what they're trying to do is, you know, have all
11:53
Speaker 1: of the factors on their side, and if they can not.
11:57
Speaker 2: Have these.
12:01
Speaker 1: Witnesses, these experts testify more to the better, right, the
12:07
Speaker 1: harder they make it for the defense, the better off
12:09
Speaker 1: it is for them. The government contends that much of
12:15
Speaker 1: Maxwell's proposed expert testimony is unreliable, irrelevant, or squarely within
12:21
Speaker 1: the knowledge of the average juror. According to court records,
12:25
Speaker 1: in Maxwell's criminal case, basically it looks like they're trying
12:30
Speaker 1: to bring these quote unquote experts aboard to you know,
12:35
Speaker 1: to mean the survivors, to destroy their credibility and all
12:39
Speaker 1: of that, the usual stuff that we see here. And
12:44
Speaker 1: whereas that might have worked before, it's not going to
12:47
Speaker 1: work anymore. Everybody's hip to it, and people who are
12:51
Speaker 1: going to be ors jurors perhaps they're hip to it too,
12:55
Speaker 1: and not just from this case, just in general.
12:58
Speaker 2: People are tired of it. They're real tired of.
13:02
Speaker 1: People like Maxwell getting away with things. Rather than focus
13:08
Speaker 1: narrowly on reliable opinions that would be relevant to issues
13:11
Speaker 1: in this case, the defendant proposes to have her experts
13:15
Speaker 1: testify broadly about a wide variety of topics, from testimony
13:20
Speaker 1: about various psychological disorders to testimony regarding the generation of
13:25
Speaker 1: false memories in laboratory settings that are not helpful to
13:30
Speaker 1: the jury. Prosecutors wrote Monday. So what they're saying here
13:35
Speaker 1: is basically what I just said, This is quackery. Okay,
13:38
Speaker 1: you're not going to replicate the results you get in
13:41
Speaker 1: the laboratory sitting in the courtroom. You've never sat down
13:45
Speaker 1: with any of these survivors. You can only give a
13:48
Speaker 1: very vague opinion about the overall effect. Okay, So basically
13:55
Speaker 1: spitballing and nobody's bind it. Maxwell's lawyers have indicated in
14:03
Speaker 1: court filings that they intend to call Elizabeth Loftis, a
14:08
Speaker 1: psychologist and frequent expert witness for defendants, to testify about
14:12
Speaker 1: research showing that false memories can be described with confidence, detail,
14:17
Speaker 1: and emotion just like true memories, even though a witness
14:21
Speaker 1: may not be deliberately lying. Okay, so what they're saying
14:25
Speaker 1: there is, you're not a liar, but you're a liar.
14:29
Speaker 1: Such a joke. They're trying to set it up to
14:33
Speaker 1: say that the survivors have false memories. They're remembering incorrectly about.
14:38
Speaker 2: Who abused them.
14:39
Speaker 1: It really was the Boogeyman hanging out with the Chuop
14:42
Speaker 1: of Cabra who was brought over there by the Wolfman.
14:46
Speaker 1: But really Bigfoot was the one doing the grooming. They
14:48
Speaker 1: might as well tell us that guess what, fuck off? Okay,
14:53
Speaker 1: And I really hope that the jury sees through the bullshit.
14:59
Speaker 1: Such opinions would be highly prejudicial and inflammatory, would confuse
15:03
Speaker 1: and mislead the jury, and would evade the fundamental province
15:07
Speaker 1: of the jury in determining witness credibility. Prosecutors wrote, So
15:11
Speaker 1: that's really what it comes down to, right, And we
15:14
Speaker 1: could skip all of it and I could just go
15:16
Speaker 1: directly to the end there and tell you that's what
15:18
Speaker 1: it's all about. They're trying to destroy the credibility of
15:23
Speaker 1: these survivors, these girls who were abused and trafficked by
15:25
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, some of them allegedly by Glenn Maxwell, and
15:29
Speaker 1: they're trying to absolutely destroy them once again, that's their goal.
15:35
Speaker 1: Maxwell's defense team has also proposed that Park Deats, a
15:39
Speaker 1: forensic psychiatrist most famous for testifying for the prosecution at
15:44
Speaker 1: the trial of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, offer expert opinion
15:48
Speaker 1: to counter assertions of the government and its proposed expert,
15:52
Speaker 1: who claimed Maxwell's alleged grooming of vulnerable minor girls was
15:56
Speaker 1: a key component in Epstein's scheme of abuse. Okay, the
16:02
Speaker 1: word grooming has acquired meaning beyond an objective description of behaviors.
16:06
Speaker 1: It imputes motive and intent without adequate evidence of either.
16:11
Speaker 1: Maxwell's lawyers wrote to the court in a preview of
16:14
Speaker 1: Deet's anticipated testimony, So, Deets and Watson over here is
16:19
Speaker 1: gonna get up there and say that she wasn't coming anybody.
16:22
Speaker 1: That's not really what the word means. Meanwhile, we have
16:26
Speaker 1: first hand reports of Glen Maxwell talking about going to
16:30
Speaker 1: find new biles. Fuck you think we're gonna ignore that.
16:33
Speaker 1: We're gonna forget about that.
16:35
Speaker 2: So you could bring.
16:36
Speaker 1: On Parker, Deets, Parker Brothers, Parker Mcsnobble, and it's not
16:42
Speaker 1: gonna matter because the facts are the facts in this case.
16:46
Speaker 1: None of your bs, none of your experts, and none
16:50
Speaker 1: of the nonsense that they're gonna bring to the table
16:52
Speaker 1: is going to change the facts. Dietz argues that there
17:02
Speaker 1: is no settled definition of the term grooming in the
17:05
Speaker 1: litigation context. When grooming is applied to such common and
17:09
Speaker 1: desirable behaviors as being kind or attentive, or helpful or caring,
17:13
Speaker 1: there is considerable risk of misleading the fact finder into
17:16
Speaker 1: believing that these latter behaviors are well established predictors of
17:21
Speaker 1: child sexual abuse when they are not, he added, what
17:26
Speaker 1: breaking news. Okay, if you don't know my kid, stay
17:29
Speaker 1: the fuck away from them. I don't need you to
17:31
Speaker 1: be nice to them. I don't need you to talk
17:33
Speaker 1: to him or offer them a massage job. Okay, that's
17:38
Speaker 1: exactly what they were doing, grooming and Parker brothers over here,
17:43
Speaker 1: mister numbnut's head, another one of these so called doctors.
17:49
Speaker 1: Such a joke, Such a joke. Federal prosecutors have taken
17:54
Speaker 1: particular exception to part of Dietz's proposed testimony that focuses
17:58
Speaker 1: on the so called halo effect, which is described by
18:01
Speaker 1: deets as a cognitive bias where a positive evaluation of
18:05
Speaker 1: one characteristic has a radiating effect on how other non
18:09
Speaker 1: related characteristics of the individual are evaluated. Basically, what they're
18:14
Speaker 1: saying is that Epstein is the reason we're here. It
18:18
Speaker 1: has nothing to do with Glenn Maxwell. We're all missing
18:20
Speaker 1: the boat. She's just another victim of Jeffrey Epstein's It's
18:25
Speaker 1: not the case. Now. You might be able to get
18:28
Speaker 1: over on that with people who don't know what's going
18:32
Speaker 1: on here, people who have not.
18:33
Speaker 2: Followed this case.
18:34
Speaker 1: But with people who have followed this case, zero chance
18:38
Speaker 1: that's gonna work. In a letter submitted to the court
18:49
Speaker 1: by Maxwell's lawyers, Deets suggested that Epstein exploited the halo effect,
18:53
Speaker 1: which allowed him to use his brilliance to manipulate people
18:56
Speaker 1: to do his bidding and to and to compart wow
18:59
Speaker 1: and compartmentalize people into isolated cells in which none had
19:04
Speaker 1: complete information about his activities. Such bullshit. So right there,
19:09
Speaker 1: their whole entire defense is out the window. We know
19:12
Speaker 1: he wasn't brilliant, Okay, when you talk about Jeffrey Epstein
19:15
Speaker 1: to the scientists around him, he wasn't brilliant. Here's another
19:20
Speaker 1: dumb fuck.
19:21
Speaker 2: Okay.
19:21
Speaker 1: The only reason that he was able to do what
19:23
Speaker 1: he did is because he had handlers in the government
19:26
Speaker 1: helping them. Jeffrey Epstein is not some fucking genius. But
19:34
Speaker 1: the government is seeking to exclude Tetz's testimony on the
19:37
Speaker 1: so called halo effect, arguing that it appears designed to
19:41
Speaker 1: engender sympathy for Maxwell. That is exactly what it does.
19:45
Speaker 1: That's the whole point of the defense. Doctor Diets and
19:49
Speaker 1: Watson has absolutely no basis to make such broad and
19:53
Speaker 1: sweeping factual claims about Epstein or his relationships with anyone,
19:57
Speaker 1: much less anyone in this case. Prosecute wrote, for sure,
20:01
Speaker 1: he doesn't know Epstein. I'm sure he doesn't even know
20:03
Speaker 1: much about this case. He's making a general statement here,
20:08
Speaker 1: and while that might be the general way things go,
20:12
Speaker 1: there's nothing general about this case. Everything about it is unique,
20:16
Speaker 1: and mister Diets, you're about to learn that. And it
20:21
Speaker 1: is no basis at all for mister Deets to suggest
20:24
Speaker 1: to the jury that anyone involved in this case did
20:28
Speaker 1: anything because of Epstein's halo. They added, US District Judge
20:33
Speaker 1: Allison Nathan, who is overseeing Maxwell's criminal trial, will hold
20:37
Speaker 1: it here in Wednesday to settle the party's disputes over
20:40
Speaker 1: the expert witnesses. Maxwell fifty nine, has pleaded not guilty
20:44
Speaker 1: to allegations that she conspired with and aided Epstein's abuse
20:48
Speaker 1: of minor girls between nineteen ninety four and two thousand
20:52
Speaker 1: and four. She has been held without bail in the
20:54
Speaker 1: Federal Detention Center in Brooklyn since her arrest in July
20:58
Speaker 1: of twenty twenty. Maxwell's criminal trial is set to begin
21:02
Speaker 1: on November twenty ninth. So I wanted to get this
21:05
Speaker 1: one out early today folks, considering that Judge Nathan is
21:08
Speaker 1: having the hearing in regards to what is going to
21:12
Speaker 1: be allowed and what is not going to be allowed.
21:15
Speaker 1: So either later on tonight or tomorrow morning, first thing,
21:19
Speaker 1: we'll get the update popped out. So until then, everybody,
21:23
Speaker 1: I hope you all have a great morning, a great day.
21:25
Speaker 1: You all deserve that, and I will be back later on.
21:30
Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that

21:53
Speaker 1: Well got arrested. All we have heard is how unfair
21:57
Speaker 1: poor Gylane has been treated.
22:00
Speaker 3: There're psychologists watching her every move, she has to wear
22:04
Speaker 3: paper clothes, even she's been put on suicide watch, and she's.
22:10
Speaker 1: In solitary confinement. These are just a few of the
22:14
Speaker 1: complaints we have heard from her and her legal team
22:18
Speaker 1: since she's been in the clink. Well, all of that
22:22
Speaker 1: stuff a bunch of bup GISTs, Like we knew it was,
22:26
Speaker 1: and in reality, of course, Glaine Maxwell is going to
22:30
Speaker 1: get favorable treatment. Now we find out today that Gelaine
22:36
Speaker 1: Maxwell is the first inmate at her facility in six
22:41
Speaker 1: months to get a face to face with her lawyer.
22:45
Speaker 2: What all those people.
22:46
Speaker 1: That have been in jail longer than her don't deserve
22:49
Speaker 1: that face to face first. All of these people that
22:52
Speaker 1: have been arrested waiting to talk to their legal counsel
22:56
Speaker 1: shouldn't be given the same opportunity. Why do is Gilaine
23:00
Speaker 1: Maxwell get to be the first inmate in this facility
23:04
Speaker 1: who gets to see her legal counsel face to face.
23:08
Speaker 1: It's absurd, It is absolutely absurd, especially considering the barrage
23:13
Speaker 1: of bullshit her legal team was throwing around about her
23:16
Speaker 1: being treated unfairly. So you see now right here, in
23:21
Speaker 1: front of your face, in front of your eyes, how
23:24
Speaker 1: it unfolds. Can plain? Can plain?
23:27
Speaker 2: Can plain? Complain?
23:28
Speaker 1: When it's obvious the conditions are not what they say
23:33
Speaker 1: they are. And in reality we know that eventually Gilaine
23:39
Speaker 1: Maxwell would get some favorable treatment, And here we are,
23:43
Speaker 1: so I would be pissed if I was a lawyer
23:46
Speaker 1: for one of these other inmates, or if I was
23:49
Speaker 1: one of these other inmates. I would be furious that
23:53
Speaker 1: this lady, this high society, so called member of polite society,
24:00
Speaker 1: gets to see her.
24:00
Speaker 2: Lawyer before I do.
24:02
Speaker 1: What makes her any better than any of those other
24:07
Speaker 1: people waiting either to go to prison, to be sentenced
24:11
Speaker 1: to prison, or those who have been sentenced, whatever it
24:13
Speaker 1: may be, What makes her have the right to see
24:18
Speaker 1: her attorneys face to face before them. Our article tonight
24:24
Speaker 1: is from the Daily Mail. The author of this article
24:28
Speaker 1: is Karen Ruiz. Headline Gilaine Maxwell becomes first federal inmate
24:34
Speaker 1: in NYC allowed an in person visit since the pandemic
24:38
Speaker 1: started after the British socialite co conspirator fellow child abuser.
24:44
Speaker 1: Attorneys were spotted arriving at the prison for a four
24:47
Speaker 1: hour meeting. And it wasn't like they just came for
24:50
Speaker 1: a quick Hey, how you doing. They get a four
24:53
Speaker 1: hour meeting and your cousin Mike gets to rod Away
24:57
Speaker 1: in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
25:00
Speaker 2: That's nice, huh?
25:01
Speaker 1: That two tier justice system sure is beautiful, isn't it.
25:06
Speaker 1: Two members of Gilane Maxwell's legal team were spotted visiting
25:09
Speaker 1: her in prison on Friday, making her the first federal
25:12
Speaker 1: inmate in New York City to be granted and in
25:16
Speaker 1: person visit since the start of the pandemic. Wow, so
25:23
Speaker 1: Gilane Maxwell gets arrested. It's only been in there since July,
25:29
Speaker 1: but all of a sudden, she skips to the front
25:31
Speaker 1: of the line to get her lawyers in there to
25:34
Speaker 1: talk to her after we were just fed that whole
25:37
Speaker 1: line of bullshit about how poorly she has been treated.
25:42
Speaker 1: Nobody's buying that, first of all. Second of all, she
25:47
Speaker 1: should not be seeing her lawyers if other people are not.
25:52
Speaker 1: Here's what I've said from the beginning, equal treatment for
25:56
Speaker 1: everybody under the law. Maxwell fifty eight, has been held
26:03
Speaker 1: at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since early July,
26:07
Speaker 1: when she was denied bail after pleading not guilty to
26:10
Speaker 1: child sex trafficking charges. Well, you know, it's not just
26:14
Speaker 1: her facility. She's the first inmate in all of New
26:17
Speaker 1: York City, according to this article, to be granted and
26:20
Speaker 1: in person visit. Can you imagine all of the people
26:23
Speaker 1: that are in jail in New York City Think about
26:25
Speaker 1: that for a minute, and she's the first one granted
26:29
Speaker 1: an in person sit.
26:30
Speaker 2: Down with her lawyers.
26:32
Speaker 1: I don't even know what to say about that.
26:35
Speaker 2: I mean, these lawyers.
26:36
Speaker 1: Are going to have a field day that their clients
26:40
Speaker 1: were left in the dark while Gielen Maxwell was able
26:43
Speaker 1: to get that top notch treatment. Must be nice to
26:45
Speaker 1: have a couple of bucks. Must be nice to have
26:47
Speaker 1: a few political political connections that are still active.
26:51
Speaker 3: Huh.
26:54
Speaker 1: Until today, prisoners have not been allowed to meet with
26:56
Speaker 1: their attorneys or other visitors in person due to the
26:59
Speaker 1: Corona Visuss restrictions. Defense attorney Christian Everdell Harvard Alum was
27:06
Speaker 1: seen arriving at the prison Friday morning alongside another female
27:09
Speaker 1: member of Maxwell's legal team. The New York Daily News
27:12
Speaker 1: reported both wore masks as they entered the facility. Well
27:17
Speaker 1: that's nice. It's a good thing that they wore masks.
27:19
Speaker 1: I mean, you know that protects everybody from what's going
27:22
Speaker 1: on now that they have their masks on. Well, it's all,
27:25
Speaker 1: It's all okay, unless you're one of the other countless
27:29
Speaker 1: numbers of prisoners in the New York detention center system
27:34
Speaker 1: and rotting away waiting for your chance to speak to
27:37
Speaker 1: your lawyers to formulate your defense. Meanwhile, you pick up
27:43
Speaker 1: the news, read the news the next day, and this
27:45
Speaker 1: is what your family sees that this monster gets to
27:49
Speaker 1: speak to her representation and they don't. Sources told the
27:55
Speaker 1: paper it was the first time an inmate had received
27:57
Speaker 1: a legal visit since the pandemic started, and that the
28:00
Speaker 1: visit lasted nearly four hours. I mean, wow, this is
28:05
Speaker 1: a case that has been riddled with privilege for the
28:08
Speaker 1: upper crust of society, for the rich, for the powerful,
28:12
Speaker 1: and Guilaine Maxwell is still getting dealt those cards. She's
28:16
Speaker 1: still getting called to the front of the line. How
28:22
Speaker 1: is that even possible? Attorney Shawan Hecker, who has filed
28:27
Speaker 1: a lawsuit seeking to grant defense attorneys access to their
28:30
Speaker 1: clients again, slammed the visit as absurd and unjust. Yeah.
28:35
Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, mister Shawn Hecker, I agree with
28:37
Speaker 1: you there, sir, absolutely ridiculous. And like I said before
28:42
Speaker 1: I started the article, I'm sure that there are some
28:43
Speaker 1: lawyers that are insane over this. If I was a
28:48
Speaker 1: lawyer for one of the inmates in New York that
28:51
Speaker 1: I've been trying to see my client or my client
28:53
Speaker 1: has requested to see me and I have not been
28:56
Speaker 1: able to do so due to the coronavirus restrictions, and
28:59
Speaker 1: I wait and I find out that Maxwell, of all people,
29:04
Speaker 1: gets to go and talk to her legal representation for
29:07
Speaker 1: four hours. Yeah, I'd be pretty pissed. Never mind if
29:11
Speaker 1: I was this attorney, Shawan Hecker, who had a lawsuit
29:14
Speaker 1: already filed seeking to grant the defense attorney's access to
29:18
Speaker 1: their clients. So yeah, I'm pretty sure this.
29:20
Speaker 2: Guy's fired up.
29:23
Speaker 1: We've been litigating for the Federal Defenders of New York
29:26
Speaker 1: to obtain a safe in person visiting option for many months.
29:30
Speaker 1: MDC detainees have been waiting up to six months for
29:34
Speaker 1: such visits, and BOP MDC decides that the first such
29:38
Speaker 1: visit should go to a wealthy British sociolite. Absurd and unjust,
29:44
Speaker 1: he said on Twitter. And I'd just like to say,
29:47
Speaker 1: not a socialite. I'd like to say co conspirator and
29:50
Speaker 1: you know, child abuser. But besides that, that's a quality
29:53
Speaker 1: rant from mister shan Hecker here, who has a lawsuit
29:58
Speaker 1: going because he wants to be able to talk to
30:00
Speaker 1: his clients in person. Is that too much to ask?
30:05
Speaker 1: I mean, you would think that if you were an
30:08
Speaker 1: inmate in one of these jails, that you'd be dying
30:11
Speaker 1: at this point to see your legal representation. Imagine being
30:14
Speaker 1: in here since the pandemic has started and not being able.
30:17
Speaker 2: To talk to your lawyer face to face.
30:20
Speaker 1: But Gilainne Maxwell, well, she shows up and all of
30:23
Speaker 1: a sudden, the person who's crying that she's being treated
30:26
Speaker 1: so unjustly automatically gets a four hour face to face.
30:33
Speaker 1: The Bureau of Prisons refused to confirm whether Maxwell was
30:36
Speaker 1: the first inmate to receive an in person visit, but
30:39
Speaker 1: said coronavirus protocols remain in place. So wait a minute here,
30:44
Speaker 1: hold on, now, you mean to tell me, according to
30:48
Speaker 1: this article anyway, that these protocols remain in place, so
30:53
Speaker 1: none of these other inmates are going to be able
30:55
Speaker 1: to see their representation after knowing that Gilaine Maxwell was
30:59
Speaker 1: able to see her. Is that what you're telling me
31:01
Speaker 1: right now? Is that what this article is trying to
31:03
Speaker 1: tell us? Because I have to say wow. While in general,
31:10
Speaker 1: legal visits are suspended, case by case, accommodations will be
31:13
Speaker 1: accomplished at the local level, and confidential legal calls will
31:17
Speaker 1: be allowed in order to ensure inmates maintain access to counsel,
31:21
Speaker 1: a spokesperson told the paper, we are facilitating attorney client
31:25
Speaker 1: visitation as well as judicial proceedings via video conference, primarily
31:31
Speaker 1: at our detention centers. So it's a case by case basis.
31:34
Speaker 1: Who decides the Bureau of Prisons. How many other waivers
31:38
Speaker 1: have they granted since the pandemic has started? That would
31:41
Speaker 1: be a good place for us to start. No, if
31:44
Speaker 1: they haven't granted any other waivers, and all of a sudden,
31:48
Speaker 1: Gilay Maxwell gets the waiver. Well, what does that tell you?
31:53
Speaker 1: What does that say about this fine two tiered justice
31:57
Speaker 1: system that lords over us? Just more evidence about how
32:03
Speaker 1: corrupt and ancient it is, Hecker said he learned Maxwell
32:10
Speaker 1: was the first prisoner to be granted access to her
32:13
Speaker 1: legal team in person. From another source, it is outrageous
32:17
Speaker 1: that the first person visit would be granted to a
32:20
Speaker 1: well healed British socialite who the President of the United
32:24
Speaker 1: States that he wished well. He told SCNBC that the
32:29
Speaker 1: it only serves to confirm that our government doesn't understand
32:32
Speaker 1: that they operate two different systems of justice, one for
32:36
Speaker 1: the well healed and well connected and one for everyone else.
32:40
Speaker 2: Wow.
32:40
Speaker 1: This Sean Hecker is my kind of guy. Huh out
32:44
Speaker 1: here talking about the two tier justice system and pointing
32:47
Speaker 1: out that Gilaane Maxwell still is you know, somebody who
32:50
Speaker 1: has connections in higher places, right. But the fact of
32:53
Speaker 1: the matter is, if she's getting these visits and nobody
32:57
Speaker 1: else is and there's no other waivers that have been granted,
33:01
Speaker 1: the question is why did she get a waiver and
33:04
Speaker 1: nobody else has gotten one. It's not like nobody else
33:07
Speaker 1: has asked. According to this lawyer, again, he has filed
33:11
Speaker 1: a suit because he is not granted access to his clients.
33:15
Speaker 1: And we could talk about the you know, the video conferencing,
33:18
Speaker 1: and that's definitely a workaround, no doubt. But if Maxwell
33:23
Speaker 1: is getting access, then all of the other inmates should
33:26
Speaker 1: have the same access, or nobody should have access, Hecker said.
33:35
Speaker 1: Officials have been discussing allowing inmates visits from their lawyers again,
33:39
Speaker 1: but they are likely to be limited to a one
33:41
Speaker 1: hour session from one lawyer. Maxwell, however, was visited by
33:45
Speaker 1: two people for over three hours. So again, whatever Maxwell gets,
33:51
Speaker 1: the rest of the inmates should get as well. I
33:53
Speaker 1: don't understand how they think that something like this is
33:57
Speaker 1: just going to be ignored. With all of the spotlight
34:01
Speaker 1: that is on this case, you would think that people
34:05
Speaker 1: would have all of their ducks in a row and
34:07
Speaker 1: would be conducting themselves in a correct and proper fashion
34:12
Speaker 1: if you're again, there is no way that Gilaine Maxwell
34:17
Speaker 1: should be getting visits from her lawyers while nobody else does.
34:23
Speaker 1: It comes days after the British socialite co conspirator, fellow
34:26
Speaker 1: child abuser, general all around scumbag was denied her request
34:30
Speaker 1: to be transferred out of solitary confinement after lawyers argued
34:34
Speaker 1: she was unable to properly prepare for trial under twenty
34:38
Speaker 1: four hour surveillance. So I guess she's going to be
34:41
Speaker 1: able to properly prepare now, right, We won't have to
34:43
Speaker 1: hear that anymore. On the bright side, her lawyers can
34:46
Speaker 1: go and get stuffed now with their stupid ass, ridiculous
34:50
Speaker 1: comments about how she's being treated so poorly. No, she's
34:53
Speaker 1: not being treated poorly. In fact, she's being treated like
34:57
Speaker 1: a high profile prisoner should be treated, and from what
35:00
Speaker 1: we're reading here, she's getting some special privileges even so
35:04
Speaker 1: please save it. She had previously complained about conditions inside
35:10
Speaker 1: the jail where she is to remain until her trial
35:13
Speaker 1: next July. Maxwell has been taken off suicide watch earlier
35:17
Speaker 1: this month. But is being searched multiple times each day
35:21
Speaker 1: and is under constant watch of the guards, her lawyers
35:24
Speaker 1: said in a letter protesting about the uniquely onerous conditions
35:28
Speaker 1: of her confinement. Her legal team claim that she has
35:30
Speaker 1: been kept under constant surveillance without her consent. Again, you're
35:35
Speaker 1: in prison. Okay, jail. I should say, not prison yet,
35:37
Speaker 1: that's next. But you're in jail. There is no more
35:41
Speaker 1: your consent.
35:42
Speaker 2: Okay.
35:43
Speaker 1: You're part of the menagerie. Now you're on display. If
35:46
Speaker 1: they want to watch you twenty four hours a day,
35:49
Speaker 1: so be it. If they want to scan you with
35:51
Speaker 1: whatever sort of machinery they have that runs the scan. Hey,
35:54
Speaker 1: guess what you're getting scanned. If it's time to take
35:58
Speaker 1: a shower, guess what, Gelane, it's time to take a shower.
36:02
Speaker 1: And when it's time for you to eat your boloney
36:04
Speaker 1: sandwich for dinner, guess what You're gonna eat it and
36:07
Speaker 1: you're gonna like it. Maxwell was arrested on July second
36:12
Speaker 1: on charges that she assisted her former boyfriend, co conspirator,
36:17
Speaker 1: fellow child abuser, convicted pedophile and late financier Jeffrey Epstein
36:22
Speaker 1: in the sexual abuse of miners between nineteen ninety four
36:25
Speaker 1: and nineteen ninety seven, and lying under oath, she is
36:29
Speaker 1: pleaded not guilty. Look, it's a farce that Gilain Maxwell
36:35
Speaker 1: is given any sort of special privileges that other inmates
36:38
Speaker 1: are not receiving. I don't know how much more clear
36:41
Speaker 1: I can be about that, And in fact, I really
36:45
Speaker 1: would like to see where this story ends up going.
36:48
Speaker 1: Does this open the floodgates for other prisoners now to
36:51
Speaker 1: have one on ones with their lawyers? It should, I know,
36:54
Speaker 1: if I was an inmate, or if I was one
36:56
Speaker 1: of these lawyers, that's what I would be pining for.
36:59
Speaker 1: And I think I think they have a good case,
37:01
Speaker 1: right If you bring this before a judge, I think
37:03
Speaker 1: a judge would probably side with the plaintiff here because
37:07
Speaker 1: it's a legitimate case. If it's good for Glaine, why
37:11
Speaker 1: is it not good for Joe Bob? And this is
37:15
Speaker 1: just another example of what this case has held from
37:20
Speaker 1: the very beginning. We keep seeing instances of the very
37:26
Speaker 1: most privileged amongst us getting special, special circumstances provided for them,
37:33
Speaker 1: no matter the situation. So next time you hear Glaine
37:38
Speaker 1: Maxwell's lawyers crying foul, the next time you hear them
37:42
Speaker 1: complaining about her so called terrible conditions inside of the jail.
37:47
Speaker 1: Just to remember that she got a four hour one
37:51
Speaker 1: on one with her lawyers while the rest of those
37:54
Speaker 1: inmates were told to rot. If you'd like to contact me,
37:59
Speaker 1: you can do that at Bobby Kapucci at ProtonMail dot com.
38:02

38:15
Speaker 1: go with the article can be found in the description
38:18
Speaker 1: box and this podcast. What's up everyone, and welcome to
38:22
Speaker 1: another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. So Glaine Maxwell spent
38:27
Speaker 1: a whole bunch of time telling us how innocent she is,
38:30
Speaker 1: and recently she had a profer session, if you want
38:33
Speaker 1: to call it that, with the DJ and I pointed
38:37
Speaker 1: out as we went through the transcripts that she was
38:39
Speaker 1: perjuring herself. Well, now we have a bunch of new
38:43
Speaker 1: emails that have been released that were never before seen.
38:47
Speaker 1: And guess what, Everything Glainne Maxwell was pitching during that
38:51
Speaker 1: interview was a bunch of bs, all of it, every
38:54
Speaker 1: last bit of it. And these emails proved that she
38:58
Speaker 1: played an integral role when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein's operation,
39:03
Speaker 1: and she certainly wasn't just somebody on the sideline. Wasn't
39:06
Speaker 1: just you know, an aw shucks girl who decided that
39:09
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was her best way to get to the
39:12
Speaker 1: top or whatever. That's a bunch of bs. That narrative
39:15
Speaker 1: has always been a bunch of bs. Glaine Maxwell was
39:18
Speaker 1: always in the thick of it. She was always somebody
39:21
Speaker 1: that was an operational must for Jeffrey Epstein. When we're
39:26
Speaker 1: talking about the ground level of the operation, Maxwell was indispensable.
39:31
Speaker 1: It's not even disputable. And what these emails do is
39:35
Speaker 1: they throw water on anybody thinking that Glaine Maxwell was just,
39:40
Speaker 1: you know, an innocent bystander who got arrested and ended
39:43
Speaker 1: up going to prison for somebody else's crimes. As we've
39:48
Speaker 1: been telling you for years, Glaine Maxwell is exactly where
39:52
Speaker 1: she belongs. This article was published by First Post dot
39:56
Speaker 1: Com and the headline Epstein emails revealed d secrets, Maxwell
40:01
Speaker 1: knew what he did, Trump figures three times, says report.
40:07
Speaker 1: This article was authored by FP newsdesk. Glenn Maxwell has
40:12
Speaker 1: spent years trying to minimize her role in Jeffrey Epstein's crimes.
40:16
Speaker 1: She's insisted that she was merely a one time girlfriend
40:19
Speaker 1: who later acted as his household manager, arranging decorators and
40:23
Speaker 1: hiring staff for as many properties. Even after her twenty
40:27
Speaker 1: twenty one conviction for sex trafficking, she has maintained that
40:30
Speaker 1: her involvement was strictly peripheral, But thousands of emails from
40:35
Speaker 1: Epstein's Yahoo account, some eighteen thousand messages in total, paint
40:39
Speaker 1: a different picture. Obtained by Bloomberg, they show Maxwell was
40:43
Speaker 1: not only deeply involved in Epstein's business and personal dealings,
40:47
Speaker 1: but also an active participant in his legal strategies and
40:51
Speaker 1: his attempts to discredit victims. The same shit she lied
40:55
Speaker 1: about during that session, if you want to call it that.
40:58
Speaker 1: The fireside chat with Todd Blanche and I pointed it
41:02
Speaker 1: out then. And the sad part is nothing's going to
41:05
Speaker 1: come of it. She's not going to be held accountable.
41:07
Speaker 1: And all the people out there that we're talking about, oh,
41:09
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell's misunderstood, They're not going to come back to
41:12
Speaker 1: the table and say, oh, you know what, we were bamboozled,
41:16
Speaker 1: we were hustled. They'll just move on to the next
41:18
Speaker 1: bit of outrage that they hope they can profit from
41:23
Speaker 1: far from stepping away in two thousand and three, as
41:25
Speaker 1: she claimed, Maxwell was still exchanging near deli messages with
41:29
Speaker 1: Epstein years later, including the months leading up to his
41:33
Speaker 1: two thousand and eight plea deal. Well, yeah, we knew this.
41:36
Speaker 1: We've seen some emails previously, But now with this trove
41:40
Speaker 1: eighteen thousand emails, I'd say that that is going to
41:44
Speaker 1: open some eyes. And I think it's important that we
41:47
Speaker 1: get a look at all of those emails with no redactions,
41:50
Speaker 1: by the way, unless, of course they're talking about victims
41:53
Speaker 1: and survivors. But besides that, let's see at all. I
41:56
Speaker 1: don't care who gets embarrassed. The correspondence, documents and enduring
42:02
Speaker 1: partnership built on logistics, strategy, intimacy, and secrecy. Now the
42:07
Speaker 1: emails show that Maxwell opened at least one foreign bank
42:10
Speaker 1: account using Epstein's address, served as a director of one
42:14
Speaker 1: of his key companies, and traded stock in a business
42:16
Speaker 1: they both invested in. She managed his homes, organized his staff,
42:21
Speaker 1: and even reminded him about assistants, birthdays and Christmas bonuses. Now, remember,
42:26
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell told us none of that stuff was going on, right.
42:30
Speaker 1: She was just the woman in charge of the properties. Oh,
42:33
Speaker 1: I was there to make sure that everything was decorated correctly.
42:37
Speaker 1: I don't even know what you're talking about. And Todd Blanche, boy,
42:40
Speaker 1: he looks really bad right now, doesn't he. And unfortunately
42:43
Speaker 1: for mister Blanche and the administration and anyone who is
42:46
Speaker 1: trying to cover this up, it's only going to get worse.
42:49
Speaker 1: Because if you think people are going to stop looking
42:51
Speaker 1: into this, if you think people are going to stop digging,
42:54
Speaker 1: you're absolutely out of your mind. I mean, remember when
42:57
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell told us she didn't know how all that
42:59
Speaker 1: money got the posited in her account. Imagine somebody deposited
43:02
Speaker 1: thirty million dollars in your account and you have the
43:05
Speaker 1: audacity to tell people you have no idea where it
43:08
Speaker 1: came from. You never seen it, you never touched it.
43:10
Speaker 2: Stop it.
43:12
Speaker 1: I didn't believe you then, and I certainly don't believe
43:15
Speaker 1: you now. Maxwell also acted as a social coordinator, ensuring
43:21
Speaker 1: Epstein stayed plugged in to elite networks. She offered high
43:24
Speaker 1: profile contact seats on his jet or visits to his
43:28
Speaker 1: private island, maintained ties with politicians and celebrities, and nurtured
43:32
Speaker 1: connections with billionaires. She was not just decorating Epstein's homes,
43:37
Speaker 1: she was helping him maintain the image of a man
43:39
Speaker 1: at the center.
43:40
Speaker 2: Of global power.
43:41
Speaker 1: Exactly what I've been telling you for years, and not
43:44
Speaker 1: just me, obviously a bunch of other people. But sure,
43:47
Speaker 1: let's go with the narrative that's being built that Glain
43:49
Speaker 1: Maxwell is misunderstood. Stop that shit right away. If you
43:54
Speaker 1: want to be taken serious when it comes to this conversation,
43:56
Speaker 1: stop that shit immediately. Perhaps the most damming exchange winch
44:00
Speaker 1: came in May of two thousand and eight, as Epstein's
44:02
Speaker 1: legal team negotiated a plea deal in Florida. He wrote
44:05
Speaker 1: Maxwell asking her opinion on which charge sounded better, lude
44:09
Speaker 1: and lascivious conduct or procuring miners for prostitution. Her reply
44:14
Speaker 1: was blunt, I suppose lude and lascivious conduct. I would
44:18
Speaker 1: prefer lude and the sivious conduct with a prostitute if possible.
44:22
Speaker 1: Fourteen year old girl. This is how Glenn Maxwell thought. Oh,
44:25
Speaker 1: I had no idea what Jeffrey Epstein was up to.
44:27
Speaker 1: He never did anything untowards around me. Everybody was just
44:30
Speaker 1: on the up and up. Everything Glane Maxwell says is
44:33
Speaker 1: a fucking lie and if you believe it, well, I
44:37
Speaker 1: hate to be that guy, but you're stupid. A month later,
44:42
Speaker 1: Epstein pleaded guilty to two state charges, solicitation of prostitution
44:47
Speaker 1: and procurement of miners, and avoided federal prosecution. Maxwell's casual
44:52
Speaker 1: involvement in such a decision shows her awareness of the
44:56
Speaker 1: gravity of the case and the reality of his crimes.
44:59
Speaker 2: Yeah.
44:59
Speaker 1: No, oh shit, that's exactly what it shows. A two
45:03
Speaker 1: thousand and seven spreadsheet prepared by Epstein's accountants offers a
45:06
Speaker 1: chilling look at how he used money and gifts to
45:09
Speaker 1: manipulate both allies and victims. Nearly two thousand entries totaling
45:14
Speaker 1: one point eight million, including everything from luxury cars and
45:17
Speaker 1: watches to lingerie and chocolates. A seventy one thousand dollars
45:23
Speaker 1: lexus for lawyer Alan Dershowitz logged as part of his
45:26
Speaker 1: legal fees, and eleven thousand dollars rolex for real estate
45:29
Speaker 1: investor Tom Barrock, a close Trump associate, A thirty five
45:33
Speaker 1: thousand dollars Odd Moore's watch intended for Clinton ad dug Band.
45:39
Speaker 1: Dozens of entries marked gifts for the girls, with annotations
45:43
Speaker 1: ranging from Victoria's secret lingerie to Western Union transfers. One
45:47
Speaker 1: victim alone was logged as receiving more than seventy five
45:50
Speaker 1: thousand gifts in cash, including a laptop, study abroad tuition,
45:54
Speaker 1: and tie massage lessons. Well, we all know who that was.
45:57
Speaker 1: That's Virginia Roberts. And seventy one thousand dollars Lexus for
46:02
Speaker 1: Alan Dershowitz. Yeah, I don't want cash. How about Alexis instead?
46:07
Speaker 1: Eleven thousand dollars rolex for one of Trump's homies, Tom Barrock.
46:11
Speaker 1: That sounds about right, and a thirty five thousand dollars
46:14
Speaker 1: watch for Doug Band who was Clinton's fixer for all
46:18
Speaker 1: those years. Now, nothing to see here, folks, just a
46:21
Speaker 1: big conspiracy theory. We should all just move on. The
46:25
Speaker 1: initials GM appeared more than two hundred and fifty times,
46:28
Speaker 1: showing Maxwell's involvement in distributing the gifts. Victims later testified
46:33
Speaker 1: that these payments were part of Epstein's manipulation, isolating them,
46:36
Speaker 1: fostering dependency and maintaining control. Yo, don't you love the
46:40
Speaker 1: smell of receipts in the morning. All the bullshit laying
46:43
Speaker 1: Maxwell was up too recently? All that's on fire now.
46:48
Speaker 2: Now.
46:48
Speaker 1: Despite long standing speculation, Trump's name only appears three times
46:52
Speaker 1: in the emails. In September of two thousand and six,
46:55
Speaker 1: Maxwell's circulated a list of fifty one politicians and business
47:00
Speaker 1: leaders for Epstein's review, removed Trump, he instructed. His name
47:04
Speaker 1: surfaced again in two thousand and seven when Maxwell flagged
47:08
Speaker 1: him as a figure reporters might contact during their coverage
47:11
Speaker 1: of Epstein's legal troubles, and in another exchange, Epstein's network
47:15
Speaker 1: referenced Trump in the context of Palm Beach society ties.
47:20
Speaker 1: Maxwell later told the Justice Department that Donald Trump was
47:23
Speaker 1: cordial and kind and that she never saw him behave inappropriately.
47:27
Speaker 1: Trump himself has said his friendship with Epstein ended after
47:31
Speaker 1: a dispute reportedly over a mar Alago employee well, one
47:36
Speaker 1: of many excuses. Honestly, while the emails do not tie
47:39
Speaker 1: Trump to Ebstein's abuse, they show his presence on the
47:42
Speaker 1: margins of Epstein's social world, and there's going to be
47:46
Speaker 1: a lot of that. There's no doubt that these two
47:48
Speaker 1: had ties for a very long time. And I've told
47:51
Speaker 1: you once and I'll tell you again, I haven't seen
47:54
Speaker 1: any sort of evidence that Donald Trump was engaged in
47:57
Speaker 1: any kind of abuse of girls with Jeffrey Epste. Now, look,
48:01
Speaker 1: that's not to say that there's not evidence out there somewhere,
48:04
Speaker 1: but I can only work with what I've seen. My
48:07
Speaker 1: problem with Donald Trump with this situation as of now
48:10
Speaker 1: is the cover up. Who are you protecting and why?
48:14
Speaker 1: And think about how terrifying that is for a minute.
48:17
Speaker 1: Forces out there that are so powerful, so strong that
48:20
Speaker 1: they can force an American president's hand pretty terrifying though,
48:25
Speaker 1: because of course that leaves us with the question who
48:28
Speaker 1: the fuck's in charge? Other powerful figures appear more prominently.
48:32
Speaker 1: Maxwell was photographed with Prince Andrew at parties, and victims
48:36
Speaker 1: have testified that he groped them in Epstein's townhouse. The
48:39
Speaker 1: emails do not prove such allegations, but they confirm Maxwell's
48:43
Speaker 1: role as a bridge between Epstein and British Royalty. Clinton
48:48
Speaker 1: and his circle also figure in the correspondence. Maxwell arranged
48:52
Speaker 1: flights for Clinton, aid Doug Band offered him thirty five
48:55
Speaker 1: thousand dollars watch and promoted her ocean conservation nonprofit terro
48:59
Speaker 1: Mar Project through the Clinton Global Initiative. Clinton spokesperson has
49:04
Speaker 1: said that the former president knew nothing about Epstein's crimes. Oh,
49:08
Speaker 1: had no idea. Slick Willie, one of the most political
49:12
Speaker 1: people in the history of political people, had no idea
49:15
Speaker 1: what Jeffrey Epstein was up to. That's the story you're
49:18
Speaker 1: going to go with. Okay, I guess. Don't get mad
49:22
Speaker 1: when that story gets absolutely savaged. When Virginia Roberts accused
49:27
Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell of abuse, Maxwell went on the offensive.
49:31
Speaker 1: In twenty fifteen, She asked Epstein for any files as
49:34
Speaker 1: lawyers had on Roberts. She circulated an old police report
49:38
Speaker 1: that painted Roberts as unreliable and told Epstein she planned
49:42
Speaker 1: to distribute it. Weeks later, the New York Deli News
49:46
Speaker 1: published a story casting doubt on Robert's credibility, citing sealed
49:50
Speaker 1: juvenile records. Roberts later sued Maxwell for defamation, a case
49:55
Speaker 1: that was settled. The emails showed that Maxwell not only
50:00
Speaker 1: knew about Robert's allegations, but actively sought the underminer even
50:05
Speaker 1: as the evidence mounted. But yeah, let's go have another
50:07
Speaker 1: fireside chat with her new disingenuous fuck bags and all
50:11
Speaker 1: you people out there that supported that, really, go give
50:14
Speaker 1: yourself a smack. Bro strikingly even as Epstein faced indictment,
50:20
Speaker 1: Maxwell discussed undergoing fertility procedures that required his sperm donations.
50:26
Speaker 1: In one two thousand and six email, she reminded him
50:28
Speaker 1: to collect all the ejaculate for her procedure within ninety minutes.
50:33
Speaker 1: Such exchanges contradict Maxwell's claim that her relationship with Epstein
50:37
Speaker 1: had diminished by two thousand and three. Instead, the email
50:41
Speaker 1: show emotional and physical entanglements stretching well into his legal crisis. Look, folks,
50:48
Speaker 1: I know it's going to shock you, but Glenn Maxwell's
50:50
Speaker 1: a liar. Back to our schedule programming. The inbox also
50:55
Speaker 1: reveals Epstein's eccentric consumerism, more than six hundred Amazon per purchases,
51:00
Speaker 1: including an FBI agent costume, teeth whitener, leather, bullwhip sized
51:05
Speaker 1: twelve crocs, and a schoolgirl uniform. In one email chain,
51:09
Speaker 1: Maxwell and Epstein discussed whether a nineteen year old woman
51:12
Speaker 1: was cute enough for sex acts. Epstein dismissed another young
51:15
Speaker 1: woman as fat and Asian.
51:17
Speaker 2: Sorry.
51:18
Speaker 1: These details mundane on the surface, exposed a man who
51:22
Speaker 1: mixed ordinary consumption with predatory fixations, and a network of women,
51:27
Speaker 1: including Maxwell, who facilitated it, even as Epstein's world collapsed
51:33
Speaker 1: after his two thousand and six arrest, Maxwell continued to
51:36
Speaker 1: leverage her social connections on his behalf. She named Drop
51:40
Speaker 1: fashion designer, Hollywood directors, and Silicone Valley leaders. She urged
51:45
Speaker 1: Epstein to treat and Wojicki, co founder of twenty three
51:48
Speaker 1: and Me and the partner of Sergey Brinn, with special care,
51:52
Speaker 1: calling her key to DNA research. At the same time,
51:55
Speaker 1: political requests flowed in the office of Bill Richardson, then
51:59
Speaker 1: Governor of New York, inquired whether he could use Epstein's
52:02
Speaker 1: jet for a peace mission. Epstein told Maxwell to have
52:06
Speaker 1: Richardson call him directly. The emails reveal how Epstein's money
52:10
Speaker 1: planes and access to luxury or a currency for building
52:13
Speaker 1: and maintaining influence. Maxwell was often the broker, and look
52:18
Speaker 1: the whole Bill Richardson angle. Nobody wants to talk about that.
52:22
Speaker 2: Huh.
52:23
Speaker 1: Bill Richardson was deep and so was George Mitchell. And
52:27
Speaker 1: we're going to be talking about them a little bit
52:28
Speaker 1: more moving forward. As Epstein's plea deal neared in two
52:33
Speaker 1: thousand and seven, Maxwell stayed closely involved. Epstein updated her
52:37
Speaker 1: on negotiations did not go well two years and she
52:41
Speaker 1: agonized in the response, I'm sad, scared, and depressed. I
52:45
Speaker 1: can't shake it. Well, you should have been all of
52:48
Speaker 1: those things, because guess what, Glanned, You're guilty. She also
52:52
Speaker 1: helped wind down his empire, deciding whether to sell his
52:55
Speaker 1: Bentley fire staff or unloaded his helicopter. She even sought
52:59
Speaker 1: advice on bear stearnstock as the financial crisis loomed. The
53:04
Speaker 1: level of coordination shows Maxwell was not distancing herself but
53:07
Speaker 1: doubling down, ensuring Epstein's world would keep functioning even as
53:11
Speaker 1: he went behind bars. So, in other words, Glenn Maxwell
53:16
Speaker 1: lied to us. Who the hell would have ever called that?
53:20
Speaker 1: I thought that she was, you know, the peak and
53:22
Speaker 1: the pinnacle of honesty. Epstein died in a New York
53:27
Speaker 1: jail cell in twenty nineteen. His death was ruled a suicide.
53:31
Speaker 1: Maxwell was arrested the following year, convicted of sex trafficking
53:35
Speaker 1: in twenty one, and sentenced to twenty years in prison.
53:38
Speaker 1: She is now appealing her case to the Supreme Court.
53:41
Speaker 1: And I would say that the prosecution, the DOJ would
53:44
Speaker 1: love to get their hands on these emails and use
53:46
Speaker 1: them against Maxwell, but we know that's not going to happen.
53:49
Speaker 2: I mean, they.
53:49
Speaker 1: Already cut her a cushy deal, so what next. They're
53:54
Speaker 1: not going to pursue it, right, the investigation's over. That's
53:57
Speaker 1: what they told us. Meanwhile, anyone with half a brain
53:59
Speaker 1: in their head knows that they've been lied to and
54:02
Speaker 1: that this investigation is far from over. So until we
54:06
Speaker 1: get some transparency and we get some answers, we're going
54:09
Speaker 1: to be here every single day beating this drum and
54:12
Speaker 1: keeping these flags of discontent waving. All of the information
54:17
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
54:19
Speaker 1: description box.
