- 3:29Speaker 4: What a journey with oh my god, this has been
- 3:35Speaker 4: This has been so fun.
- 3:36Speaker 7: Guys.
- 3:37Speaker 4: I really feel like we've become a family.
- 3:43Speaker 8: It's just like Broadway dreams come true. And no matter
- 3:48Speaker 8: how many shows we did, we were still on Broadway.
- 3:54Speaker 8: We still had our show. Diary of a Dame still went.
- 3:59Speaker 8: That's things are written in the sand.
- 4:01Speaker 5: This is the story of a show.
- 4:04Speaker 4: No one's experience is like anyone else's experience.
- 4:07Speaker 9: Like, we don't have to We don't have to attach
- 4:10Speaker 9: our ideas to anyone thing.
- 4:11Speaker 4: We don't have to be wicked. We don't have to
- 4:13Speaker 4: be Hamilton.
- 4:14Speaker 2: And who needs that all of those all of those
- 4:17Speaker 2: signatures and the Netflix and the oh will you come
- 4:22Speaker 2: speak at graduation mister John Cho will you?
- 4:25Speaker 4: Oh?
- 4:26Speaker 2: Why don't you come? I don't need any of that.
- 4:29Speaker 8: Look, sorry, not all of us want to be in
- 4:31Speaker 8: a Hamilton. I want to come to call time. I
- 4:33Speaker 8: don't want to sing for people who are dying to
- 4:35Speaker 8: get This.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Is such an amazing, This is such an amazing, is
- 4:39Speaker 1: such an amazing, This is such an amazing.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It's such a Hey it's okay, okay, your hand off.
- 4:49Speaker 10: Hey, I can't touch someone there anymore.
- 4:54Speaker 9: You know that Leo fell into the pit orchestra early
- 4:58Speaker 9: on and correct me if I'm wrong.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Your ribs are still kind of broken.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It's not yes, I don't mind you're touching me there,
- 5:04Speaker 1: it's my ribs are sensitive because I felt the pit
- 5:07Speaker 1: or you know, it.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Was just it was so high.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Hi.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Hey, I am Leo Leo Dine. I was the one
- 5:16Speaker 1: of the lead men.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Roles in this beautiful performance. Thank you.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I was one of the are new men. And it's
- 5:26Speaker 1: it's closing night. I guess it's well, it is closed.
- 5:29Speaker 1: We don't get our last night, but it's closed.
- 5:32Speaker 5: And we're supposed to do this interview. I want to
- 5:34Speaker 5: be clear.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Yes, we were supposed to do.
- 5:35Speaker 1: This was planned before, a big kind of promo for
- 5:38Speaker 1: the thing, but they closed it right before we got
- 5:41Speaker 1: to opening night.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Yeah, we we had. We had just done the red
- 5:44Speaker 4: carpet out front and we had just gotten changed into art.
- 5:48Speaker 4: We're still in costume.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Came running in and said, you know what, it doesn't
- 5:54Speaker 2: add up. I biffed it. I biffed it hard. It
- 5:58Speaker 2: doesn't add up. That accountant was, to be honest, throwing up,
- 6:02Speaker 2: freaking out. It was the biggest mistake of his professional army.
- 6:05Speaker 4: They were allowed to talk to us. By the way.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I was going to say. It was a first
- 6:09Speaker 5: show on Broadway ever closed physically, by the account, they
- 6:13Speaker 5: locked their doors.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Literally.
- 6:14Speaker 5: He came in physically and said stop what you're doing.
- 6:17Speaker 1: He put he put a baseball bat on the doors
- 6:19Speaker 1: and then and then chained himself to the door like
- 6:21Speaker 1: people trade.
- 6:22Speaker 4: He changed to the doors that this can't happened. There
- 6:26Speaker 4: just can't happen.
- 6:27Speaker 9: And there were security guards with firearms lining if.
- 6:31Speaker 1: We have pached the doors, we've been told told they
- 6:34Speaker 1: will will shoot us on side.
- 6:37Speaker 2: It was his most expensive mistake.
- 6:39Speaker 5: He just kept saying, I'm thinking about the train. They
- 6:43Speaker 5: built the train, the.
- 6:45Speaker 8: Track was going to be a success. Story of a
- 6:50Speaker 8: Dame was a classic nineteen thirty nine musical written by
- 6:53Speaker 8: Lerner and Lo. It was about a gorgeous young woman
- 6:56Speaker 8: who moves to New York City from London and learns
- 6:59Speaker 8: that street smarts are a little more important than book smarts.
- 7:03Speaker 5: And the curtain falls as she eats lunch.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Yeah, it happens between nine thirty am and at twelve
- 7:09Speaker 3: to fifty nine pm.
- 7:11Speaker 4: It was such a.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Show twenty four, except it is five minutes and it's
- 7:19Speaker 2: four three.
- 7:21Speaker 5: A gorgeous story, and her arc is gorgeous, I mean
- 7:25Speaker 5: beautiful and gorgeous.
- 7:27Speaker 4: I'll never forget Diary of the Dame. Does somebody want
- 7:35Speaker 4: to introduce themselves as we go around?
- 7:38Speaker 7: Leo?
- 7:38Speaker 5: I do want to say before we move on from
- 7:40Speaker 5: your introduction your performance as the Male Ingenoue, that the
- 7:45Speaker 5: name Male Ingenue incredible, tordiforce, uniforce.
- 7:52Speaker 2: When you found that diary and you read all of
- 7:56Speaker 2: the Dame's personal thoughts about New York City's.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Dame is this day? I must find this damn.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Scenes with you and the therapist talking about the day.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yeah, in nineteen thirty nine, and men usually don't do this,
- 8:09Speaker 1: don't tell anyone.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Well, then we can forget the big number. Tapping on
- 8:12Speaker 4: a manhole, tap it on a mand I was so
- 8:16Speaker 4: excited to be able to get to do that. I
- 8:19Speaker 4: was so excited after after Peter had his unfortunate accident,
- 8:23Speaker 4: I finally got to step up as understudy. Yes, in principle,
- 8:27Speaker 4: tell us your name Scaparelli, Frank name just Frank.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Scaparelli.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I was cassid if Scaparelli is a stage name, but no,
- 8:40Speaker 1: your real name is Caparelli.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Frank but your stage name is just Frick.
- 8:43Speaker 9: No, my real name is Scaparelli. Francisco.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Frank.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Frank is the stage and.
- 8:48Speaker 2: So we as your friends can call you Scaparelli Frank,
- 8:51Speaker 2: and the stage calls you just Frank.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Correct. Yes, yes, I know, and we didn't really get
- 8:55Speaker 4: to talk. Come into your little whole thing. We're going
- 8:59Speaker 4: to call you rappy, scrappy scrappy, yeah, and I sort
- 9:05Speaker 4: of I sort of just dealt with it. This is
- 9:08Speaker 4: my first Broadway experience. So all of you season seasoned season, well,
- 9:14Speaker 4: you were.
- 9:14Speaker 1: So amazing as the as the fly in. I mean,
- 9:16Speaker 1: it was great that we are you kind of like
- 9:18Speaker 1: we're better than Peter the Original. And I thought this
- 9:21Speaker 1: was going to make your career in a big.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Way stand Bys, right. I don't think we say it
- 9:25Speaker 5: enough that Broadway is the stand the.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Back Broadway they are.
- 9:31Speaker 5: And I'm so sad you didn't get.
- 9:32Speaker 11: To go on.
- 9:33Speaker 4: So sad.
- 9:34Speaker 9: Look I moved here, I left everything behind, and what
- 9:39Speaker 9: do you leave? I left my my family. My dad
- 9:43Speaker 9: is unfortunately passing away tonight. It's been sort of all week,
- 9:51Speaker 9: so this week is particularly it sucks for you.
- 9:54Speaker 4: I've not been thinking about it at all. You know,
- 9:57Speaker 4: sometimes there are those moments its.
- 10:03Speaker 10: But it's funny too because the show died and your
- 10:05Speaker 10: dad's dying.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, I can't get on. I cannot
- 10:09Speaker 4: get a hold of my mom today, so I'm like
- 10:11Speaker 4: a little worried that it might be happy if she
- 10:13Speaker 4: died too. Okay, well, because it is highly contagious.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Oh yes, it's highly contagious terminal illness.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Yes.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Yeah, someone called the Diary of a Dame it seems
- 10:28Speaker 5: like she caught it.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Well, it's actually fun In fact, the lead a Diary
- 10:35Speaker 3: of a day in nineteen thirty nine, she died of tuberculosis.
- 10:38Speaker 3: No that the show was supposed to last through dinner,
- 10:41Speaker 3: but in the first run it ended at lust, so
- 10:45Speaker 3: they said, that's actually the show mission. This was on purpose.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Back then, you couldn't just die on stage. They had
- 10:52Speaker 3: to act like it was on purpose.
- 10:55Speaker 4: This was on purpose, al goodbye.
- 10:57Speaker 5: That's what I liked about it is that arks back
- 11:00Speaker 5: then was smaller. Now you have even a story about
- 11:04Speaker 5: healing people so long.
- 11:06Speaker 10: People did live as long, so shows were shorter.
- 11:10Speaker 9: That you have so many facts because you've been on
- 11:13Speaker 9: Broadway the most, Yes out of.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Anyone, really, Yes, Hi. My name is Dan Maroon Drama.
- 11:22Speaker 6: Tur Dan. We call you.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Because not only did I play old mister Farnsworth in
- 11:30Speaker 3: the show, but I know quite everything about theater.
- 11:34Speaker 5: The unofficial drama, everything you're around.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I mean, there's a seat dedicated to me in the
- 11:39Speaker 3: booth because I the booth theater, because I sit in
- 11:42Speaker 3: it's so much it has a stink. They can't get out,
- 11:45Speaker 3: and so it's my seat.
- 11:46Speaker 12: It is.
- 11:46Speaker 1: The smell is unlike anything. There's a sweetness, a sweetness
- 11:50Speaker 1: like death is.
- 11:51Speaker 5: And for us to do twelve previews and for you
- 11:53Speaker 5: to have that remark that that uh mark mark on
- 11:57Speaker 5: that seat.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Well, people tell me I smell like a Delhi that
- 12:00Speaker 3: doesn't exist anymore. But if you grew up on the
- 12:02Speaker 3: Upper West Side in the sixties, you would smell me
- 12:05Speaker 3: and gold.
- 12:05Speaker 4: That's green blats And that's why I was like home.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Well, that's and it's so fitting because you play Farnsworth,
- 12:10Speaker 1: the deli owner on the show and you sing that
- 12:12Speaker 1: beautiful one of a kind number named your meat, Name
- 12:17Speaker 1: your meat, of.
- 12:17Speaker 9: Course, Turkey, turkey, turkey, turkey, all day long.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Turkey, turkey, turkey. He's lammy at home. It's so nice.
- 12:32Speaker 4: I understudied you as well. You did understudy. I understudied
- 12:35Speaker 4: all of you, and I.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Actually saw you go on for me once. Then I said,
- 12:38Speaker 3: why are they putting a pillow in that shirt? That's
- 12:41Speaker 3: not right.
- 12:42Speaker 4: I wanted it to be true.
- 12:44Speaker 9: My interpretation of your character was that he was severely ailed,
- 12:50Speaker 9: but by a beer gut or maybe perhaps a parasite.
- 12:53Speaker 4: I was supposed to do that, but I love it.
- 12:56Speaker 5: I thought it was a funny little bit.
- 12:58Speaker 4: But I love this show.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I've been so sad. A lot of people call me
- 13:01Speaker 1: the curse. Oh yeah, because you've never seen a show.
- 13:06Speaker 4: You've never stepped on stage on an opening night. And
- 13:08Speaker 4: I was so this was a risk. We knew this
- 13:12Speaker 4: was a risk to push for you. You know, it
- 13:15Speaker 4: was exciting.
- 13:16Speaker 3: It's just they tell me I nail the callback, and
- 13:19Speaker 3: I'm undeniable and a callback and then I never make
- 13:22Speaker 3: it to opening night.
- 13:23Speaker 4: One of these days, I'll make it opening night. I
- 13:25Speaker 4: mean I've been to opening nights, you know. I saw
- 13:27Speaker 4: the opening of Next to Normal.
- 13:29Speaker 5: It's never a part of them, right, Yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 4: And how many shows have you done?
- 13:32Speaker 10: I've done forty eight.
- 13:33Speaker 5: Wow, God, that's really awful.
- 13:37Speaker 4: It is hard.
- 13:37Speaker 2: This is quite a curse.
- 13:40Speaker 4: We all have a journey curse.
- 13:41Speaker 5: Right, I mean, listen, I when I saw you in
- 13:44Speaker 5: the table read, I've known you for years, right, and
- 13:47Speaker 5: I saw you in the table riot and I said,
- 13:49Speaker 5: my god, we're not getting past the first preview and
- 13:52Speaker 5: let alone readed twelve. So there's a feat.
- 13:54Speaker 4: I mean, that's amazing.
- 13:55Speaker 5: And I think today name hello, I'm Flala Lady. I'm
- 14:04Speaker 5: Flala Lady Gugenheim and I I play old Dame and
- 14:10Speaker 5: she looks at young Dame and she sees her right,
- 14:14Speaker 5: and I was called My call time was always later
- 14:17Speaker 5: because I'm only in the second half of the show.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Then I'm sad to see it go. But as someone
- 14:24Speaker 5: who's done this for so long, I I feel as
- 14:27Speaker 5: if it's just another another notch.
- 14:31Speaker 1: On our belt and you can and you can't save it,
- 14:33Speaker 1: and you can't save the show and you can't.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Because you, I mean, I feel like you have. We
- 14:37Speaker 4: know you're a huge backer of the production. The Guggenheim
- 14:40Speaker 4: Come on, lady, come on, you're part of.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Lady sure, sure, come on, come on, lady, come on,
- 14:56Speaker 5: come on, lady.
- 14:58Speaker 4: It's not a sw.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Sing it sing it a song. It's a redest Sure
- 15:04Speaker 5: I financed the revival, but that accountant put me at gunpoint.
- 15:09Speaker 5: I can't. I can't say no to him.
- 15:11Speaker 3: So do we need to get a military coup to
- 15:13Speaker 3: take down the accountant and then we can do the show.
- 15:15Speaker 5: I don't think that's what the interview should be about,
- 15:17Speaker 5: but it is a gold.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Okay, okay in relationship to the accountant.
- 15:31Speaker 5: My relationship to the accountant is he says where I
- 15:34Speaker 5: can go and what I can do right he's in
- 15:37Speaker 5: charge of the Gudenheimen account And when I said, I.
- 15:40Speaker 12: Want to put what's going on over there, come on,
- 15:49Speaker 12: come on, come on.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Little show for I know you've been practicing that tumble.
- 16:06Speaker 13: Do you want to do the tumblefore lady lady.
- 16:26Speaker 6: I can't hear you.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Follow lady, Tumble lady, tumble flow lady. She's going to
- 16:33Speaker 4: sleep well tonight. That's a lot of action for lady.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I think that that that satisfied me.
- 16:40Speaker 4: I'm good to move on. It'll come back. It will
- 16:53Speaker 4: come back, Spirits. You really needed that. I needed to
- 16:57Speaker 4: do that, so I'm I'm glad we really helped. That
- 17:00Speaker 4: was that and and I was waiting until.
- 17:02Speaker 2: The bar was filled, and it was filled, and now
- 17:04Speaker 2: and now we can go.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Thanks for the laugh, lady.
- 17:07Speaker 7: So much sallow lady, lady, you were always a hoot.
- 17:14Speaker 5: You are too much Sunday Lady, I'm starting to feel
- 17:18Speaker 5: too much in the center of attention.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Said sorry. I said sorry, lady.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Lady.
- 17:35Speaker 4: I haven't seen her this energetic since she accidentally took
- 17:37Speaker 4: my adderall and she mistakes it for her pose.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Lady.
- 17:46Speaker 4: I went to the boys and went pick up. That's
- 17:49Speaker 4: how the train ended up in the musical.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Please you, you little star.
- 17:54Speaker 6: Look at those feet.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Look at that.
- 17:59Speaker 2: So this is what I get for pointing out all
- 18:05Speaker 2: of ladies ankles.
- 18:07Speaker 4: I got me to show the feet. The feet were
- 18:09Speaker 4: a huge feature of the show.
- 18:12Speaker 6: They were.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Is Mimi Spaghetti and I am.
- 18:18Speaker 4: Dame herself, young Spaghetti.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Well, I guess there's nobody left.
- 18:25Speaker 4: But the Dame is there. Star of Screen moved to stage.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Star of Screen moved to stage. I was on the screen,
- 18:34Speaker 2: and I thought, too big, too many eyes. Wanted to
- 18:38Speaker 2: be live in a theater somewhere. I think I have
- 18:41Speaker 2: a plan, and so I wait the move and I
- 18:45Speaker 2: went to Broadway. And then when this script fell into
- 18:48Speaker 2: my lap, you know, I'd never heard of the Diary
- 18:51Speaker 2: of the Dame before. It seems like a musical that
- 18:55Speaker 2: Grandma forgot.
- 18:56Speaker 5: Stop it.
- 18:56Speaker 2: It's a little sorry, sorry, excuse me.
- 18:58Speaker 10: For a little because maybe it's considered a joke.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Excuse pardon me for a little jokes.
- 19:10Speaker 5: She plays young Dame and I.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Play old Yes, I forgot meaning after eleven.
- 19:19Speaker 5: She's a flash, she's a flash of former flash.
- 19:22Speaker 4: All right, the flashboard. I forgot.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yes, I played young Dame and my age is well,
- 19:27Speaker 2: that's an interesting question.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Because you were on that hit HBO kind of prestige
- 19:32Speaker 1: TV show for.
- 19:33Speaker 14: Yes, Playor of East Town, Mayor of East Town, which
- 19:41Speaker 14: was wildly confusing.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Yes, I played the Mayor of Boston, who was sort
- 19:47Speaker 2: of a fancy British equivalent of the Mayor of East Town.
- 19:52Speaker 2: And she, uh, well, well, well you know she she
- 20:00Speaker 2: she delivered a speech that when.
- 20:03Speaker 1: We don't have you, we don't need to talk about
- 20:11Speaker 1: gorgeous voice.
- 20:11Speaker 5: I don't have to talk about it.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you. You guys are always guiding me,
- 20:15Speaker 2: and I will never forget when the.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Mayor dave a speech in that show was great. It was,
- 20:20Speaker 4: and it's great, and we don't need to hear it.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Can I ask you a question? Yes, because I've always
- 20:24Speaker 3: been curious about this. You mentioned how you wanted to
- 20:29Speaker 3: move from film and the screen because there were too
- 20:33Speaker 3: many eyes on you there. What was it like to
- 20:35Speaker 3: get to the theater when there were actually hundreds of
- 20:38Speaker 3: us more?
- 20:38Speaker 4: Oh my goodness.
- 20:39Speaker 2: It was different than I thought it well previous, it
- 20:43Speaker 2: was really different.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I mean we have a clip actually, I mean they've
- 20:46Speaker 1: recorded all the previous We have a.
- 20:48Speaker 15: Couple of slime tutorial Yeah, so this is this is
- 20:54Speaker 15: a diary of a Dame previous live tutorial which if
- 20:57Speaker 15: you need to see any musical ever, just so slim tutorial.
- 21:01Speaker 5: I almost hate that you did that on YouTube. I
- 21:03Speaker 5: don't want people to know that trick anymore because they're
- 21:06Speaker 5: gonna come get us.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I thought this was being played in the back of
- 21:09Speaker 3: a taxi.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Of you, right when you land in New York and
- 21:16Speaker 1: you're going up to your apartment. This was the footage
- 21:20Speaker 1: of you kind of.
- 21:21Speaker 2: You know, And this is the footage of Yes, it's
- 21:23Speaker 2: it's the first my first day on stage.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Yes, first preview.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Well, I'll die a dame in.
- 21:30Speaker 5: New York City.
- 21:32Speaker 2: This show is the hot Dog place where.
- 21:34Speaker 4: The cabs are.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Good and the man are even good. Well, let's now
- 21:39Speaker 2: see what's happening in the old school yard.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Oh hey, broad Hey, why don't you wiggle on over here?
- 21:47Speaker 4: Why don't you?
- 21:48Speaker 9: I got a hot dog for you, squeeze.
- 21:55Speaker 4: But don't mind me, jents.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Why does everyone looking at me?
- 22:00Speaker 4: Are they? Who are those people? Well?
- 22:07Speaker 2: I went to New York City on a hey pennies diamond.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I took into the Broadway and I made her mind.
- 22:14Speaker 4: But who are these people?
- 22:18Speaker 2: These fucking creeps and purpose there's a bunch of creeps
- 22:20Speaker 2: and purples, and they're they're ugly.
- 22:23Speaker 6: They're sitting in the.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Dark and they're ugly. The vamp's almost over. Where do
- 22:27Speaker 4: you get off the subway?
- 22:34Speaker 2: It kind of absolutely you guys always had my back
- 22:38Speaker 2: out there.
- 22:39Speaker 4: We were trying to got your back.
- 22:41Speaker 3: And can I say that person who's grouped the subway
- 22:44Speaker 3: got cast in this that was very funny.
- 22:48Speaker 5: Lovely by the name of Amber.
- 22:52Speaker 9: After after the orchestra incident, we did have to get
- 22:55Speaker 9: a lot of recastings.
- 22:57Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, it was.
- 22:58Speaker 1: It was unfortunately we were There were a lot of disasters.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I had a lot of disasters happened to me personally,
- 23:03Speaker 1: you had.
- 23:03Speaker 4: So many stunts. I had a lot of stunts that
- 23:06Speaker 4: just went wrong, more more injuries than Spider Man Turn
- 23:10Speaker 4: Off the Dark.
- 23:11Speaker 16: The ladder Domino was hard to the latter Domino, the
- 23:14Speaker 16: song about how dominoes keep falling in New York City,
- 23:18Speaker 16: and they set up a whole ladder Domino and it
- 23:20Speaker 16: just went south from the beginning.
- 23:22Speaker 2: It was there was nobody holding the other side of
- 23:25Speaker 2: the ladder. No, yeah, and I just wanted you to
- 23:27Speaker 2: go straight up it.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they they wanted. It was just it was.
- 23:31Speaker 3: They attached you to that that fly in the harness,
- 23:34Speaker 3: but then they attached the fly to the ladder.
- 23:36Speaker 4: So I got stuck in as they're falling.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I'm going up while grabbing a ladder in the falls,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and it's kind of like what would happen is when
- 23:45Speaker 1: I started going up, my velocity would accidentally end up
- 23:49Speaker 1: raising the ladders back up to create a back of
- 23:51Speaker 1: domino into me. It was just kind of this back
- 23:54Speaker 1: and forth. Are you guys picturing what I'm painting?
- 23:56Speaker 4: Oh?
- 23:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:57Speaker 4: It really discovered the resonant frequency of the theater and
- 24:00Speaker 4: it just would not stop. The true scientific phenomena it shook.
- 24:05Speaker 5: I think, like just in case, I don't know, it's
- 24:08Speaker 5: so sad today, today's so sad.
- 24:10Speaker 10: Right, we're mourning the loss.
- 24:12Speaker 6: But I don't want to.
- 24:12Speaker 5: Talk about the negatives. I thought you, I thought the
- 24:14Speaker 5: stunts you did will thank you.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I mean, this was a bold reimagining of Diary of
- 24:20Speaker 3: a Dame, if you guys know Diary of a Dame.
- 24:22Speaker 10: Originally Geen Harlowe played the lead of the Dame.
- 24:26Speaker 3: And this was a bloody interesting you know. Jamie Lloyd
- 24:31Speaker 3: came in for one punch up and changed the thirty
- 24:34Speaker 3: five minute forty five minute punch up changed everything, and
- 24:38Speaker 3: so we had a bit of a It was a
- 24:39Speaker 3: stripped down vibe.
- 24:40Speaker 10: It was honest and pretty and interesting, clear stark.
- 24:45Speaker 4: You know.
- 24:45Speaker 10: We didn't get rid of all the props. We got
- 24:47Speaker 10: rid of some.
- 24:47Speaker 9: Props and we never got to act too so so
- 24:50Speaker 9: Act one is very different than acting.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Pretty bloody, and then Act two is just more of
- 24:55Speaker 1: like a nineteen thirty nine beautiful yeah farce.
- 25:00Speaker 5: That's what I liked about it. Sometimes I wish your
- 25:02Speaker 5: Revival would do more of a comparison before and after piece.
- 25:05Speaker 5: And that's why I thought it was kind of bold.
- 25:08Speaker 5: I thought it was like what this used to be, right.
- 25:11Speaker 10: I think it would have gone great. I think the
- 25:14Speaker 10: audience is being robbed. I think the audience would love
- 25:17Speaker 10: to have seen this. So if you want to get
- 25:19Speaker 10: out there and say.
- 25:20Speaker 8: Save the Dame, hashtags say save.
- 25:22Speaker 4: The Dame, Save the Dame.
- 25:24Speaker 2: If you're watching this right now, someone has stolen something
- 25:27Speaker 2: from you and it's the opportunity to see this show.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Someone has robbed it of your person. They've committed a felony.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Don't you forget it?
- 25:35Speaker 1: You are you could sue them. You could call the police,
- 25:39Speaker 1: call the police and say save the Dame.
- 25:40Speaker 2: I've been robbed one and say save the Dame.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Even Frank or whatever.
- 25:50Speaker 4: That's your Italian.
- 25:50Speaker 6: Brother, lady.
- 25:52Speaker 3: It's not massacring people's names for lady, lady.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Lady to call to other people's names, to call you Fatini,
- 26:06Speaker 4: my mother, Leo, you don't remember my name? Le okay,
- 26:12Speaker 4: fun about me, Maroon.
- 26:18Speaker 5: But anyway, I I like you learned every track. I
- 26:21Speaker 5: learned every track, and that's just a shame that you.
- 26:24Speaker 4: You are only cover I mean, the only one that's incident. Yes,
- 26:30Speaker 4: talk about it.
- 26:31Speaker 5: Do you think that's why we close.
- 26:33Speaker 4: It certainly got to be.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I can't figure out what the reason is why we
- 26:37Speaker 1: exactly closed, because there were so many reasons.
- 26:39Speaker 4: It was sort of it was sort of phenomenal effects.
- 26:43Speaker 9: To take a metaphor from an earlier part of the conversation,
- 26:48Speaker 9: But the orchestra incident, which a couple of you weren't
- 26:51Speaker 9: there for you were having personal.
- 26:53Speaker 17: Days, personally annoyed, didn't in one way a year I bleed,
- 27:02Speaker 17: all right, lady, okay, follow.
- 27:11Speaker 12: Lady.
- 27:14Speaker 9: We were rehearsing the day with Jamie Lloyd, right the
- 27:17Speaker 9: forty five minute consultation, and he suggested that perhaps we
- 27:21Speaker 9: start the opening number outside of the theater, and so
- 27:25Speaker 9: we were rehearsing the big tap number outside.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Unfortunately, that really disturbed a lot of the people in
- 27:33Speaker 4: the community. They did not like it. But we kept
- 27:36Speaker 4: tapping and tapping and tapping, and finally when it was
- 27:39Speaker 4: time to move on, we entered the theater through that
- 27:42Speaker 4: side door right over there, and a flood of angry,
- 27:47Speaker 4: angry New Yorkers came in and they just they threw
- 27:52Speaker 4: Leo right into the pit.
- 27:53Speaker 1: They kind of had that moment of like a big
- 27:55Speaker 1: pit and they pushed you all to the edge and
- 27:57Speaker 1: said they said this is this is New York and
- 28:00Speaker 1: started kicking you guys into the pit one by and
- 28:02Speaker 1: they were cheering.
- 28:04Speaker 4: I thought we double booked with stomp On accident.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Well, and I also think and and and the New
- 28:09Speaker 3: Yorkers told me this after they all sat me down
- 28:11Speaker 3: and said, I want to tell you what happened. They
- 28:14Speaker 3: told me what the problem was was you were all
- 28:17Speaker 3: tapping on this this thing, this big tin roof, and
- 28:21Speaker 3: it turns out you were releasing rats. These rats had
- 28:24Speaker 3: been sleeping and you were They were scattering throughout and
- 28:27Speaker 3: they were strong, were strong, they.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Were incredibly strong. Solut you not get thrown into the pit.
- 28:35Speaker 4: How did that?
- 28:35Speaker 9: Well, I'm the I'm the youngest person in the cast,
- 28:38Speaker 9: so I was the only one who was sort of
- 28:40Speaker 9: able to and sorry about whatever happened there.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Okay, we can break whatever we want.
- 28:47Speaker 2: We never know, you never know what's going to happen
- 28:51Speaker 2: up and you have to keep your chin up.
- 28:55Speaker 5: Trauma, especially after the accident, when you learned all of
- 28:59Speaker 5: our parts and Equity came out. I also think this
- 29:02Speaker 5: is why we closed, just because Equity said this isn't allowed, no,
- 29:06Speaker 5: and it's not fair.
- 29:07Speaker 9: The amount of money that I was making contractually, but
- 29:11Speaker 9: it's also it was.
- 29:12Speaker 1: A lot of walk and anybody would go play something
- 29:14Speaker 1: in the orchestra, you would scream and scream and scream.
- 29:17Speaker 4: You would scream and scream and scream. I just haven't.
- 29:20Speaker 9: I haven't had time to go to therapy because I've
- 29:22Speaker 9: been learning on the tracks that there might be something there.
- 29:25Speaker 4: But we actually have a clip for pre what it
- 29:31Speaker 4: looks like. It looks like they're they're breaking down the
- 29:35Speaker 4: bullet train right now.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Where did I gotta stop breaking down that train? Well,
- 29:42Speaker 2: there might be another sound of that in two minutes
- 29:44Speaker 2: if I didn't do that right.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Okay, Well we have a clip of I think this
- 29:47Speaker 1: is preview at nine.
- 29:49Speaker 4: I think this is my song. It's your song, and
- 29:51Speaker 4: you're screaming in the audience. Yeah, okay, let's see it.
- 29:56Speaker 3: There's certain things to know about wearing a tie. High
- 29:59Speaker 3: is ties are nice, go out, have done a wonderful night.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Ties make you look like a trap, a chap.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Happening. I'm a happening man, and I'm wearing a tie.
- 30:15Speaker 4: A happy guy.
- 30:17Speaker 18: Come on, dad and be my happy kill.
- 30:29Speaker 1: It's us the gang from the show you're watching it's
- 30:34Speaker 1: being us.

- 30:36Speaker 14: voices and actually be ourselves and make each other laugh
- 30:38Speaker 14: and talk about our real lives, you can do that.

- 30:54Speaker 2: and then sometimes we watch full episodes of the TV
- 30:56Speaker 2: show Mobbed, which is a reality flashbob competition.
- 31:00Speaker 4: We have so much fun on there.
- 31:01Speaker 3: We show our real headshots from the past, we tell
- 31:03Speaker 3: stories about our lives.
- 31:05Speaker 4: They had to dance for twelve weeks straight.
- 31:06Speaker 3: I wrote a screenplay about Jesus swapping bodies with a
- 31:09Speaker 3: thirteen year old lesbian.
- 31:11Speaker 5: It's all fun and games over there.

- 31:38Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll get back to it now. Bye. The subway that.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Comes to the subway, guys, Amber had one thing hit
- 31:53Speaker 2: and she gave.
- 31:54Speaker 4: She tried to down down so that that was a
- 31:58Speaker 4: particular desperate just fit it in there. Yet she's like
- 32:02Speaker 4: the subway.
- 32:03Speaker 2: She would come and enter the green room like.
- 32:05Speaker 4: That, the subway. My god, I'm so sorry you had
- 32:09Speaker 4: sorry that. I love that shot. The man thinking about ties.
- 32:16Speaker 3: He's trying to show we're going out for a fancy
- 32:18Speaker 3: night tonight, everybody. This is the importance of wearing a tie, which,
- 32:21Speaker 3: if you've seen any musical from the thirties, almost every
- 32:24Speaker 3: show has one like that.
- 32:25Speaker 4: Oh, you have to address, you have to.
- 32:27Speaker 5: Address to tell you, Revan Hansen, how to how to.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Use a glove.
- 32:33Speaker 3: I used to love when musicals and just stop everything
- 32:36Speaker 3: and talk about an object.
- 32:37Speaker 5: It's always one man act too, about forty five minutes
- 32:41Speaker 5: and he goes, well, this is how this works, you know,
- 32:44Speaker 5: And it's always explaining the characters put in view, and.
- 32:47Speaker 4: It's just such a nice reprieve. When that happens.
- 32:49Speaker 10: You don't take any offense to your screaming thank you.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Nobody did.
- 32:53Speaker 1: It was just it was crazy that we had to
- 32:55Speaker 1: shut down. If that was one of the reasons, I'd
- 32:57Speaker 1: be so disappointed because I don't think it was not
- 32:59Speaker 1: even distracting even you know, I don't even think that.
- 33:03Speaker 4: Added to it. Sorry, I'm getting a call. Hi, Hello,
- 33:07Speaker 4: this is this is cap No I can I can
- 33:10Speaker 4: have this? Like, I'm so sorry. It was just when
- 33:13Speaker 4: we were among friends. Hi, okay, business, Well are you sure?
- 33:22Speaker 19: Okay?
- 33:22Speaker 4: An, It's spread so it spread to my mom as well.
- 33:30Speaker 4: Oh and then she went home to the family reunion
- 33:34Speaker 4: and no one and no one stops her with mink.
- 33:38Speaker 4: So they're all, okay, thank you, Can I do it? No? Okay, okay,
- 33:46Speaker 4: thank you so much. Are we back?
- 33:48Speaker 20: Hi?
- 33:49Speaker 4: Yeah, talking about bloop Musical. Of course, this was a
- 34:01Speaker 4: little bit of a messy preview. Let's talk blooper reels.
- 34:04Speaker 4: We filled on the previews, the bloopers of the live
- 34:07Speaker 4: Broadway show.
- 34:08Speaker 2: So this is something I brought from the screen. I'm like,
- 34:10Speaker 2: we got to have a blooper in my community, the
- 34:13Speaker 2: screen community, we have a blooper. You look like you've
- 34:15Speaker 2: seen a ghost.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Oh that reminds me of my favorite blooper. Oh yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 5: when you're singing how to use a tie? And you're
- 34:25Speaker 5: singing how to use a tie, and our stage manager
- 34:28Speaker 5: came outside, came out and walked, did a walk and
- 34:30Speaker 5: took a deep exhale. And I thought it was hilarious.
- 34:34Speaker 1: It was so funny when I stage manager and took
- 34:38Speaker 1: a deep exhale.
- 34:40Speaker 4: I mean, comedy writes itself, you have a deep exhale.
- 34:44Speaker 2: And then and then the lightning.
- 34:45Speaker 4: I had a big pause. I had a big pause.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Remember Diary, when you said I haven't just a Dane
- 34:52Speaker 3: like a great day.
- 34:54Speaker 4: Like a great day, like a dog. You gotta tried
- 34:58Speaker 4: to cover too much. My god, what's the dog? What's
- 35:01Speaker 4: the dog?
- 35:02Speaker 10: You're adopted?
- 35:02Speaker 5: Tell me that dog?
- 35:04Speaker 21: So I have a dog. It's a Boxer's so funny.
- 35:11Speaker 21: He's such a funny little dog. You can adopt him normally,
- 35:15Speaker 21: but now I have to. Now I have all the
- 35:17Speaker 21: time in the world to adopt this dog.
- 35:19Speaker 4: And I think we.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Want a name him, James Franco. I think we want
- 35:22Speaker 2: to Okay, want to name Dave Frankly.
- 35:32Speaker 6: What's your name?
- 35:33Speaker 4: The dog?
- 35:33Speaker 19: Sorry name?
- 35:36Speaker 6: Sorry?
- 35:38Speaker 22: Sorry, come on, sorry, come on.
- 35:48Speaker 5: Sorry, what.
- 35:55Speaker 4: Are we doing?
- 35:57Speaker 6: Just Frank?
- 35:57Speaker 4: Is something wrong? Frank? And everything is done. It's over.
- 36:03Speaker 9: It's not huhs and it's not everything will be fine.
- 36:07Speaker 4: It's all done. It's all over. It's gone. Every hope,
- 36:11Speaker 4: every dream, everything that we wish for is over. You
- 36:16Speaker 4: quit your entire career to be here.
- 36:19Speaker 9: You you you, You opened up your relationship and you
- 36:22Speaker 9: can't get back to them now and follow Lady.
- 36:27Speaker 4: What did I do? You don't ask. I'm wondering. They're
- 36:32Speaker 4: doing such good reads on people to read leope you're
- 36:38Speaker 4: moving back in with a couple of guys. Oh god, shit,
- 36:43Speaker 4: this is the lowest point. My entire family just died.
- 36:48Speaker 4: I did all of them.
- 36:49Speaker 11: I didn't want to.
- 36:50Speaker 4: You were being such an active listener on the phone call.
- 36:52Speaker 4: We kind of knew that.
- 36:55Speaker 1: We were trying to make you feel better with playing
- 36:56Speaker 1: the Bluebers from our live musical.
- 36:58Speaker 2: We thought it would just chick you up to just
- 37:01Speaker 2: kind of breeze past.
- 37:02Speaker 4: Okay, but what about the reality of the situation. This
- 37:04Speaker 4: is the what about the reality? We're all counting on
- 37:08Speaker 4: this hit?
- 37:09Speaker 1: Frank, Frank, can I call you scap?
- 37:13Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 37:15Speaker 4: Yeah, you could call me lady. Else's name scap.
- 37:24Speaker 11: This is the business. Unfortunately, if you.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Let your whole career and your whole life just be
- 37:31Speaker 1: promised on one moment, then you're not giving yourself enough
- 37:34Speaker 1: space to see how wide and how full your body is,
- 37:38Speaker 1: How wide your body.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Is, wide and full your body is you have.
- 37:44Speaker 1: You're more than just a failed You are art itself.
- 37:50Speaker 1: You are Adams and a cosmos, and time and everything
- 37:55Speaker 1: that has happened to each atom before has led to
- 37:58Speaker 1: this beautiful unification in you.
- 38:01Speaker 4: Hey, Leo, get fucked well, get.
- 38:06Speaker 1: On Sunday, get absolutely interact, Okay, because what I'm looking
- 38:10Speaker 1: at right now is becoming like this, sorry loser.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Okay, don't you fight, don't you fight?
- 38:15Speaker 6: Lady, calm the.
- 38:16Speaker 9: Fun down, okay before I switch your pills again. Bitch, Okay,
- 38:20Speaker 9: you did it on purpose, Yes I did, little bitch.
- 38:25Speaker 4: I own a gun. I do do.
- 38:33Speaker 6: Flow. A lady has a gun.
- 38:35Speaker 4: What are you gonna do about it? I'm gonna watch.
- 38:45Speaker 6: Bigger than.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 39:05Speaker 4: I'm so sorry. I'm so I'm so sorry. That was like,
- 39:11Speaker 4: it's okay, emotions. I'm so sorry. I had a moment.
- 39:15Speaker 4: You're going through. What we like to say is the
- 39:18Speaker 4: five stages of a closing. We've all been.
- 39:20Speaker 10: Through that, be through.
- 39:25Speaker 4: Did you eat today?
- 39:26Speaker 7: No?
- 39:26Speaker 6: No, no, no, no no no.
- 39:27Speaker 4: I wanted to into this.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Don't don't eat stage makes you sad. The stages so
- 39:37Speaker 3: the five stages of grief kind of a pin a pun.
- 39:43Speaker 4: There, kind of a pin in the next which is a.
- 39:46Speaker 16: Pun on pun is a pun on pun.
- 39:49Speaker 5: I never got that. Yeah, I never thought that a
- 39:56Speaker 5: word different. That's a little off.
- 39:58Speaker 4: It's a pun.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Ages of closing one curtain falls, to watch out, heart falls,
- 40:07Speaker 3: look out, three, Darkness falls.
- 40:11Speaker 5: Eyes up.
- 40:12Speaker 4: You're kind of adding your own rules, you know.
- 40:14Speaker 5: I'm doing it like like when like Monday, I can play.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Stages. That's kind of exactly.
- 40:38Speaker 6: What I was going for.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Curtain falls, five stages of a closing, Curtain falls, heart falls,
- 40:51Speaker 3: Darkness falls.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Up, mind falls, whoa spirit? Oh no sorry? Instead of
- 41:00Speaker 4: mind falls, bank account falls catching, Spirit rises.
- 41:06Speaker 6: Wow.
- 41:07Speaker 10: So the show ends and just six yeah, him, So
- 41:17Speaker 10: that's what's happening.
- 41:18Speaker 3: I mean, I I you're currently in stage I would
- 41:20Speaker 3: say heart falls, Yes, so, darkness falls, it's coming.
- 41:23Speaker 4: We're gonna be So.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I was right there, like twenty minutes before we started this,
- 41:28Speaker 1: I was I was desperate.
- 41:29Speaker 4: I was.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I wasn't looking, you know, good for me. I was
- 41:32Speaker 1: just kind of like was broken. And now I'm just
- 41:35Speaker 1: that I've moved past that whole heart falls and I'm
- 41:38Speaker 1: at bank account falls. So I'm just talking to my
- 41:41Speaker 1: accountants and trying to figure out what to do next.
- 41:43Speaker 4: Person, I'm so sorry for saying what I said to you.
- 41:45Speaker 4: You don't have to apologize. That wasn't you, But I
- 41:48Speaker 4: take responsibility.
- 41:49Speaker 10: We're going through something, Listen.
- 41:50Speaker 4: I've had a lot of losses in my life, have gone.
- 41:52Speaker 10: Through forty eight shows closing right, all the same.
- 41:57Speaker 3: They all hurt, but I know they always come back,
- 42:00Speaker 3: and I always walk back in and someone goes, you
- 42:03Speaker 3: got casts on this too, and go yeah, and look,
- 42:08Speaker 3: if my crazy cowboy version of Kiss Me Kate didn't
- 42:12Speaker 3: go down in previews, I never wouldn't gotten too play
- 42:15Speaker 3: a really weird bank teller that looks really weird and
- 42:18Speaker 3: a Coen Brothers movie in one scene, and so that's
- 42:21Speaker 3: really special.
- 42:23Speaker 4: Can you tell us? Can you tell us again your
- 42:25Speaker 4: top six favorite shows that never made it? Of course,
- 42:29Speaker 4: and I'll do the La Hiams this time. Okay, I'm
- 42:33Speaker 4: curious what those will be turning of the screw set
- 42:38Speaker 4: at a high school.
- 42:39Speaker 11: Here we go, Here we go.
- 42:42Speaker 4: I'm doing that. I'm doing the echomams behind. I'm sorry
- 42:53Speaker 4: we fought back, me too, but I liked what happened
- 42:55Speaker 4: at the end. I was in a regional tryout of
- 42:57Speaker 4: Life a quadical Cesius with the musical Scooby Do, Scooby Doo.
- 43:05Speaker 4: I was in a John Leguzama show called Shoes for
- 43:08Speaker 4: a White Man. Leguism Who leguism Who.
- 43:17Speaker 3: I was in a updated musical version of Disney's The Fox.
- 43:22Speaker 4: And the Hound at the paper Ball playoffs. Scooby Who,
- 43:26Speaker 4: Scooby Suck. I will tell you what. I'm seventy five
- 43:30Speaker 4: years old. This is the worth lie I ever got.
- 43:32Speaker 4: I'm just trying. I'm just trying.
- 43:33Speaker 2: I'm just trying. I'm just trying, just trying.
- 43:36Speaker 5: Journey into miser I was in Trying.
- 43:40Speaker 3: I was in a version of This Is Our Youth,
- 43:42Speaker 3: but everyone was played by an old person. This is
- 43:46Speaker 3: our New This is Hard Now, and the show you
- 43:51Speaker 3: might know Diary of a.
- 43:53Speaker 4: Day, Oh wow, a day? What can be in any
- 44:03Speaker 4: that's so simple?
- 44:05Speaker 5: So sweet? The train comes, it sweeps, the train goes,
- 44:14Speaker 5: it dies.
- 44:17Speaker 4: What's that from I wish that was in a musical,
- 44:20Speaker 4: an amazing song in the musical. My God, we have
- 44:23Speaker 4: to call the plan. I feel like I just say
- 44:27Speaker 4: I have a word for you, Flying Streak. You might
- 44:37Speaker 4: have no I would have gotten really.
- 44:42Speaker 1: So heart heart filled but broken and sad, but hopeful
- 44:46Speaker 1: and hopeless. The song that you sing in the original
- 44:49Speaker 1: musical is a lot worse field, so much more.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Sense for the scene because what I tell in there
- 44:56Speaker 2: was that song about pennies.
- 44:57Speaker 5: I'm blaming this on our accountant, but I remember I
- 45:00Speaker 5: pitched that song to our composer Tema and Tima was like, no,
- 45:07Speaker 5: that song sounds bad, so I wanted to sing it today.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Can I be honest? I feel like Timo was one
- 45:13Speaker 1: of the big reason's wife this. You know, the school
- 45:15Speaker 1: just didn't songs.
- 45:18Speaker 4: There's no style cohesion with this, not at all.
- 45:21Speaker 5: My song sucks.
- 45:22Speaker 1: The rap, the wrap breakdowns, every bridge, the Germans you
- 45:25Speaker 1: had to do sometimes I have to do.
- 45:27Speaker 4: Can I be honest? Sometimes because I have I have
- 45:30Speaker 4: a nephew, that says theater and you have a nephew.
- 45:34Speaker 4: I was waiting to get the hell out the right time.
- 45:42Speaker 4: But lady has a friend with a nephew.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Nephew, so yeah, I have I have a nephew that
- 45:54Speaker 3: does a lot of theater in high school. But I
- 45:57Speaker 3: have a theory that I think Tima Tima was kind
- 46:01Speaker 3: of really gunning for a Diary of a Dame Junior,
- 46:05Speaker 3: and she was really trying to get this in schools.
- 46:09Speaker 4: She was really trying to sell this for the giniards.
- 46:12Speaker 2: She thought she could make a quick buck off of
- 46:16Speaker 2: this show. And it's really rude. I hate when composers
- 46:19Speaker 2: do this.
- 46:19Speaker 4: This is my pet peeve.
- 46:21Speaker 5: And you're so right now that I think about it.
- 46:23Speaker 5: All our merch was back to school items.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Cases, not reselling protractors.
- 46:32Speaker 20: What was that.
- 46:35Speaker 1: And the fact that we had to do it, we
- 46:38Speaker 1: had to go, I mean it was and all those songs.
- 46:40Speaker 1: I mean, one of my least favorite songs I can
- 46:42Speaker 1: say now because it's canceled, is when the Diet When
- 46:45Speaker 1: the Dame counts the streets in New York and she
- 46:47Speaker 1: just counts one to one hundred and sixty fourth Street.
- 46:50Speaker 4: They picked the streets that are just the name number numbers.
- 46:54Speaker 4: It's just a grid.
- 46:55Speaker 5: Will you sing it for us?
- 46:57Speaker 4: Will you sing her?
- 46:58Speaker 5: Because you cover it?
- 47:00Speaker 21: You know, every story honest your singer better than me?
- 47:02Speaker 20: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, tens
- 47:08Speaker 20: Like Mambo, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, sixteen, seventeen.
- 47:14Speaker 4: Wait Where sixteen go.
- 47:16Speaker 23: Hey, Welcome to the streets of New Yorle, New York. Hey,
- 47:22Speaker 23: Welcome to the streets of New Yorle, New eighteen, nineteen, twenty,
- 47:29Speaker 23: twenty one, twenty two, twenty three, twenty four to twenty
- 47:32Speaker 23: five Wrap break.
- 47:34Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 47:35Speaker 4: We're out in New York City. Every day. I'm struggling
- 47:38Speaker 4: on the streets. Every day.
- 47:40Speaker 7: I'm trying to get the feet, walking up the streets,
- 47:43Speaker 7: walking down the bucks, making sure I got my bucks.
- 47:46Speaker 4: Shoot up on my six nail them in the heads.
- 47:49Speaker 4: They're done. A bullet in their heads. They're dead. They're dead,
- 47:52Speaker 4: They're dying. They're dead. I want the man's eyes leave
- 47:55Speaker 4: his body. Subway twenty for.
- 48:01Speaker 6: Twenty five.
- 48:04Speaker 1: When Saber money, Wait, is this your diary? And black
- 48:13Speaker 1: not blackout, just black.
- 48:18Speaker 4: Cut to black.
- 48:21Speaker 2: God.
- 48:21Speaker 5: I Oh, there's so many reasons the show could have
- 48:24Speaker 5: been closed.
- 48:24Speaker 1: There's so many and who are we and I don't
- 48:27Speaker 1: well that whole sequence about reading the diary and what
- 48:30Speaker 1: was in the diary was honestly quite disturbing.
- 48:32Speaker 4: I think it was just the diary of Frank.
- 48:35Speaker 6: Yes, it was the diary.
- 48:37Speaker 4: It was Frank. Yeah, and we were trying to go
- 48:40Speaker 4: for some sort of metaphor and we didn't land it. No,
- 48:45Speaker 4: we didn't. We didn't get it.
- 48:46Speaker 2: There because it kind of unfortunately a lot of the
- 48:49Speaker 2: early reviews kind of said, wasn't really sure which way
- 48:53Speaker 2: you felt about and Frank's diary, and that.
- 48:57Speaker 4: Is we did. We we say, this is a good diary,
- 48:59Speaker 4: but we were maybe like like a kid wrote.
- 49:02Speaker 2: This because we so we had one producer who was
- 49:05Speaker 2: really into comedy and one producer who was really into
- 49:07Speaker 2: World War two, and those two producers were at odds
- 49:11Speaker 2: with each other all the time.
- 49:15Speaker 4: It was strange.
- 49:16Speaker 3: I mean, this was written in nineteen thirty nine. We
- 49:18Speaker 3: no one even knew about the diary yet, and so
- 49:21Speaker 3: then they were adding in the this diary of the
- 49:23Speaker 3: Dame has to be the diary van Frank, and.
- 49:24Speaker 4: They got confusing too.
- 49:25Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like the way through it
- 49:28Speaker 1: switched to diary of a wimpy kid, and it was, yes,
- 49:32Speaker 1: very confusing, It was very confused.
- 49:34Speaker 5: I actually loved that part.
- 49:36Speaker 4: I mean, it's a.
- 49:37Speaker 2: It's a rather haunting scene.
- 49:39Speaker 12: There.
- 49:39Speaker 4: Let's see it. We've got the clip.
- 49:40Speaker 1: You're doing it right, Jesus, this is when it switches
- 49:44Speaker 1: from diary right clip and you're doing it.
- 49:54Speaker 4: You're doing.
- 49:57Speaker 5: This is the wrong clip. This is your clip.
- 49:59Speaker 4: You're doing it. Looks like this is your clip because
- 50:03Speaker 4: it was heard.
- 50:04Speaker 3: My gosh, I think it's been doctored for you that
- 50:06Speaker 3: you're doing. I think somebody tampered with somebody.
- 50:09Speaker 4: Doctors, Someone doctored the doctor clip.
- 50:13Speaker 11: Okay, I don't know what to do. I guess I
- 50:18Speaker 11: guess I'm just a wimpy kid.
- 50:23Speaker 5: Wow.
- 50:23Speaker 6: What a clip.
- 50:24Speaker 4: That's interesting. Wow. They really did not do a lot of.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Big effort on putting your face on that face. It
- 50:32Speaker 2: was like a puppet barely moving his mouth chopped and screwed.
- 50:35Speaker 5: Yeah, hold on, hold on, I'm getting a call.
- 50:38Speaker 4: Oh my god, told on a rotary phone.
- 50:44Speaker 6: Okay, Hello, fla lady, this is landon speak when you're ready.
- 50:59Speaker 4: What was that?
- 51:00Speaker 3: Hm?
- 51:01Speaker 5: What you don't say?
- 51:05Speaker 4: It seems like a mystery lady is all clue.
- 51:12Speaker 5: In the room with a knife for the door closed.
- 51:17Speaker 10: Lady, how you are because everything she's clearly listening. So
- 51:22Speaker 10: when you get onto a phone calls.
- 51:23Speaker 4: Who don't have to say everything that you hear. I
- 51:26Speaker 4: was going through a moment.
- 51:28Speaker 11: Who it feels like she's doing.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Who?
- 51:33Speaker 6: Hey?
- 51:34Speaker 4: All right, flow lady, all right, I gotta go, lady.
- 51:43Speaker 4: What on earth was whatever was happening?
- 51:46Speaker 5: What was happening on the freak out? Especially you you're
- 51:50Speaker 5: a young one. Okay, there's a potential for a new financy.
- 52:03Speaker 6: The knife?
- 52:03Speaker 4: What was about the night? What was the knife about?
- 52:07Speaker 15: Oh?
- 52:07Speaker 5: That was just me bumbling on about something.
- 52:11Speaker 4: Completely related. Who's the financier?
- 52:14Speaker 5: But before I even tell you that, all I've heard
- 52:18Speaker 5: so far these last thirty forty minutes is how much
- 52:21Speaker 5: we hated the show. If this financier is real and
- 52:27Speaker 5: not just some blumbling idiot I made up, would we
- 52:31Speaker 5: want to do this show?
- 52:33Speaker 3: So?
- 52:33Speaker 10: First off, if you made up a phone call with
- 52:35Speaker 10: a financier.
- 52:36Speaker 5: That phone call looked real.
- 52:38Speaker 4: It looks really real.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Also, I don't think we've said anything we've hated. It's
- 52:42Speaker 1: just things that have gone wrong.
- 52:44Speaker 4: Would you if you got the chance, If I could
- 52:47Speaker 4: have the chance to actually have an opening night on Broadway,
- 52:52Speaker 4: if I could have the chance to have a reason
- 52:57Speaker 4: to miss my entire families.
- 53:03Speaker 2: If I could have the chance to face those eyeballs
- 53:06Speaker 2: in the dark and not call them fucking perverts, couldn't.
- 53:12Speaker 1: If I could have the chance to not live with
- 53:14Speaker 1: those two guys I said at the beginning, I would
- 53:16Speaker 1: be living.
- 53:16Speaker 10: With That's good.
- 53:19Speaker 4: That's all I have. That's good, the only thing I have.
- 53:23Speaker 4: It's a miracle any of us have anything. We are.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Care less about having something to say.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Here.
- 53:41Speaker 5: If you had the chance, would you take it?
- 53:46Speaker 4: If you had the chance, would you claim it to
- 53:49Speaker 4: be yours?
- 53:51Speaker 10: If you had the chance, would you hold it in
- 53:54Speaker 10: your hand?
- 53:56Speaker 2: If you had the chance, would you dance?
- 54:00Speaker 4: If you had the chance, would you? Guys?
- 54:07Speaker 24: I think we should take it, huh. I know that
- 54:10Speaker 24: we've already gone through many stages of morning here, especially you,
- 54:13Speaker 24: especially Yes again, so sorry for the things that I
- 54:15Speaker 24: said on and off Mike, But think of it. Even
- 54:21Speaker 24: if it goes wrong, and even if we all get
- 54:24Speaker 24: hurt physically, emotionally, mentally, professionally, shouldn't we just take the chance.
- 54:32Speaker 24: Shouldn't we just take the leap into the darkness.
- 54:36Speaker 19: If you had the chance for nothing to be the same,
- 54:41Speaker 19: if you had the chance for a diary of a dame,
- 54:46Speaker 19: Would you take it or would you.
- 54:49Speaker 4: Just bow out the choices? Yours don't pout. None of
- 54:56Speaker 4: us learned that song, none of us got to learn.
- 54:59Speaker 4: We should put that, and.
- 55:02Speaker 5: We should put your If we had another chance, we'd
- 55:05Speaker 5: put my song in it. We put your song in it.
- 55:07Speaker 5: Maybe you would have a role, one role every time.
- 55:10Speaker 4: Would it be I don't know if you have a
- 55:13Speaker 4: chance to play a role, who put it be? If
- 55:18Speaker 4: I had one chance, it would be the train conductor
- 55:24Speaker 4: in the subway.
- 55:27Speaker 10: A perfect an off stage character that is spoken of
- 55:31Speaker 10: the entire show.
- 55:32Speaker 5: That we've never seen on stage, a.
- 55:35Speaker 10: Perfect opening to add somebody.
- 55:38Speaker 2: A perfect introduction to New York City.
- 55:40Speaker 4: And the song could go ch chu chu to to
- 55:51Speaker 4: train coming in the town, to day train coming in
- 55:54Speaker 4: the town today, Red line, blue line one to eight,
- 55:58Speaker 4: red line blue line eight eight cars, seven cars, six cars,
- 56:04Speaker 4: five cars, four three two one. Yeah.
- 56:07Speaker 7: I'm in New York City, just doing my thing, nineteen
- 56:10Speaker 7: thirty nine, and I'm saying that same thing.
- 56:13Speaker 4: This is the city your dreams, this switch things going well.
- 56:16Speaker 7: If you want to get lost, go to Queens. I'm
- 56:19Speaker 7: here in the city hoping that you don't run into
- 56:22Speaker 7: some shitty. Wait, there's a girl here with a diary.
- 56:26Speaker 7: I wonder if she's gonna crary one.
- 56:34Speaker 18: Learning turning on a time, putting on a tie, and
- 56:38Speaker 18: a pretty guy.
- 56:39Speaker 4: Putting on a tie, putting on a tie, hooting.
- 56:42Speaker 6: On a tie.
- 56:43Speaker 4: I'm a pretty la la la la la la lula
- 56:54Speaker 4: will wimpy kid.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Yes, siam o wimpy kid.
- 56:59Speaker 4: I am a wimpy Yes, I am all.
- 57:20Speaker 21: Right.
- 57:21Speaker 4: That's lunch. The whole opening is just the musical incredible.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Rachel, tell the dog he's back to Foster.
- 57:34Speaker 4: I don't want the house in Montgue. I'll be staying
- 57:37Speaker 4: on Broadway. Text the doctor. I don't need to see
- 57:41Speaker 4: the body, Diane, the ups guy is gonna be thrilled.
- 57:46Speaker 4: Let's open up that marriage and Trevor and Dominic. I'm
- 57:51Speaker 4: all right, you can find another roommate.
- 57:55Speaker 6: Who's here?
- 57:57Speaker 4: Who is it? Who is lady?
- 57:59Speaker 6: What't you tell us? Lady?
- 58:12Speaker 4: You know one of the bullets that she was one
- 58:14Speaker 4: of the bullets for my gun that you was deep
- 58:16Speaker 4: throating earlier, bullet in her throat.
- 58:19Speaker 25: It must have melted, must have melted. It makes sense,
- 58:25Speaker 25: a bullet lagat and melted. Lady, Polly put the gun
- 58:36Speaker 25: back in her throat. Maybe the bullet will go back in.
- 58:39Speaker 1: And also she we still might have a financier even
- 58:42Speaker 1: if she's dead.
- 58:44Speaker 4: I mean my pill bottle all the bullet to.
- 58:53Speaker 5: A dame is what you call a woman when a
