- 1:30nuggets and how you improve your life, I
- 1:34think that's pretty amazing, and I'm really excited,
- 1:36guys, because my new book is going to
- 1:37be launching very, very soon, so this is
- 1:40Inspirations for Your Life, the master topic for
- 1:44this week for Series 5, Show 15, is
- 1:47going to be how to rise into what's
- 1:52next in your life, very apropos with Easter
- 1:56coming tomorrow, by the way, I'm John Seymour,
- 1:59serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer, podcast
- 2:03host, coach, keynote speaker, graduate student, and a
- 2:06passionate life long learner, and soon I will
- 2:09be a published author, really excited about that,
- 2:12so guys, when something old loses power, something
- 2:17new can finally begin, now, this week is
- 2:20all about renewal, it's about courage, it's about
- 2:22clarity, it's about movement, living hope and becoming
- 2:26proof that change is inevitably possible, but we
- 2:30have to start with belief, and the belief
- 2:33can lead us to our dedication, which will
- 2:36lead us to basically the fact that we
- 2:39are going to be passionate about doing this
- 2:43consistently, you know, in our lives, and give
- 2:48us that discipline that will keep us on
- 2:50track, so again, today is Saturday, April 4th,
- 2:54and it's all about leaving the old story
- 2:58behind, okay, so what ended made space, what
- 3:02left your life and didn't destroy you, it
- 3:04positioned you for, well, something better, more aligned,
- 3:09and I think sometimes when we hear that,
- 3:12you know, we're gonna lose things, we panic,
- 3:14all right, we never want to lose anything,
- 3:17so by the fact that we are coming
- 3:19into this new space, it's like, oh my
- 3:23gosh, what am I supposed to do, it's
- 3:28for us to get a chance to understand
- 3:30that new things can create opportunities that we
- 3:34didn't know existed, I talk about that, by
- 3:36the way, in my book, which you guys
- 3:38will be excited to hear about when it
- 3:39comes out shortly, number two, guys, stop dragging
- 3:43dead weight, anything that drains your energy is
- 3:46already disqualified from your future, I know you
- 3:50might say, well, but it has memories, or
- 3:51it has this, or it has nostalgia, or
- 3:54it has everything I need, no, it doesn't,
- 3:58that's a false sense of reality, and you're
- 4:01putting that in your head, and I think
- 4:02that's a big problem, so number three, guys,
- 4:05release what no longer fits, so growth demands
- 4:09you let go before it rewards you with
- 4:13what's next, and I know letting go is
- 4:16something that seems very hard, but we do
- 4:19need to let go so that we can
- 4:20experience the newness in our life, number four,
- 4:23guys, outgrown is not broken, you didn't fail
- 4:28it, you simply evolved beyond it, so when
- 4:33we get rid of things, people, places, and
- 4:36ideas in our life, that's not a negative
- 4:39thing, that's so we can make room for
- 4:42other things that will be better for us
- 4:44in our lives, so outgrown is not broken,
- 4:48you didn't fail it, you simply evolved beyond
- 4:51it, well, guys, number five, old pain or
- 4:56discomfort does not define you, your past experiences
- 4:59are lessons, they're not limitations, I know a
- 5:02lot of you are like, oh, my gosh,
- 5:03I can't do this, and my world is
- 5:05over, it's not, it's a perception that you
- 5:08have, it's a fear, which what's a fear,
- 5:10a fear is false evidence appearing real, and
- 5:13I think that can be hard for a
- 5:15lot of people to, you know, dial into,
- 5:17number six, guys, closed chapters create new openings,
- 5:23every ending is a doorway waiting for your
- 5:25courage, you know, when a door closes, somewhere
- 5:31a window opens, we just have to be
- 5:35mindful and aware of that, number seven, guys,
- 5:39let silence reset you, clarity grows when noise
- 5:45is removed, clarity grows when noise is removed,
- 5:49I think that's a real important thing, number
- 5:52eight, guys, empty space can be powerful, what
- 5:57feels like nothing is often preparation for something
- 6:00really big, but we're afraid because we have
- 6:05to wipe some things out so we can
- 6:07start on a clean slate, and I think
- 6:12that's something that scares a lot of people
- 6:13that don't always know that, you know, if
- 6:16we erase something, well, what's going to fill
- 6:18its spot, I can promise you something even
- 6:20better, number nine, guys, what is gone is
- 6:26just guidance, life removes what no longer serves
- 6:30your growth, sometimes it does it gently, sometimes
- 6:33it does it in a little more vigorous
- 6:35way, and the reason it does it in
- 6:36a more vigorous way is because sometimes people
- 6:39just, they don't understand, you know, why things
- 6:43are happening, and I think when we can
- 6:47appreciate this, we can know that, you know,
- 6:53things are possible, but I know we've got
- 6:54to see something, and I think that's an
- 6:56important thing for a lot of people, number
- 6:5810, guys, stop revisiting expired versions of yourself,
- 7:04okay, your past identity is not your current
- 7:07assignment, it's not, so if you keep harping
- 7:12on the past, right, you're never going to
- 7:16be able to move forward, you're either going
- 7:18to stay stagnant or you're going to digress
- 7:20backwards, nobody wants to go backwards, I don't,
- 7:24do you, so I think when we are
- 7:29looking for something, and we haven't found it
- 7:32yet, we're like, well, let's cling to something
- 7:33we know, we have to let go of
- 7:36it so we can fully embrace what's new,
- 7:39number 11, guys, you are allowed to begin
- 7:42again, starting over is not failure, I know
- 7:47a lot of people tell you that, but
- 7:49it is not failure, it is recalibration, it's
- 7:54a test, and so when something doesn't align,
- 7:58it falls away, when friends no longer connect
- 8:01with you, they sort of just fade out
- 8:03of your life, just like things you might
- 8:05have done when you were younger, and now
- 8:07they don't have a place anymore in your
- 8:09life, number 12, guys, let the past loose,
- 8:17okay, and it's your vote, it's your future,
- 8:24it doesn't require approval from what already happened,
- 8:27because I know you're saying to me, John,
- 8:29well, if I let it loose, then what
- 8:32can I cling on to, you're not having
- 8:34faith, you're not having belief that something is
- 8:36going to be there better, you know, a
- 8:38lot of people I talk to get frustrated
- 8:39because they don't get what they want right
- 8:41away, and I say, you know what, just
- 8:42because you don't get what you want right
- 8:43away doesn't mean you're not going to get
- 8:45it, it means that it's either going to
- 8:47happen later on, or you're going to get
- 8:49something even better, but it's the people that
- 8:52are harping on a concept like, oh my
- 8:53gosh, what do I do, I didn't get
- 8:56that in my life yet, and then they
- 8:58put all these stops up, and that's a
- 9:02big problem, guys, for a lot of people
- 9:04out there, they just don't really understand, you
- 9:06know, what's going on.
- 9:09Number 13, healing starts with honest endings.
- 9:14Denial delays progress, and truth accelerates it.
- 9:17Let me try to get into that a
- 9:18little deeper.
- 9:19So healing starts when we are honest with
- 9:22ourselves, and sometimes being honest means we need
- 9:25to end things, that could be activities, that
- 9:28could be relationships, whether platonic or not, and
- 9:32so when we are in denial, which by
- 9:36the way is not a river in Egypt,
- 9:38it's the Nile, denial is not a river
- 9:40in Egypt, when we're in denial, we're holding
- 9:43things back so tightly, like we don't want
- 9:46to let go of them, we're afraid, we're
- 9:48just holding on for dear life, but when
- 9:50we allow them to release gently, they move
- 9:53away, and other things just come into our
- 9:57space that we can not cling on to,
- 10:00but that we can make part of us.
- 10:03When we cling onto something so strong that
- 10:05we can hardly feel the circulation in our
- 10:07hands, that's fear and worry, and that's a
- 10:11big problem.
- 10:12So again, I want to say this to
- 10:13you, healing starts with honest endings, denial delays
- 10:17progress, truth will accelerate it.
- 10:21I've been able to say to me, John,
- 10:22you know, do you want the truth?
- 10:25Yes, I've said to some of my clients,
- 10:26do you want the truth?
- 10:27Of course, but then some people can't handle
- 10:30the truth, so that's a whole other issue
- 10:33in itself.
- 10:33If somebody can't handle the truth, what do
- 10:35we do?
- 10:36I think we have to break it to
- 10:37them in a gentle way, but not sugarcoated,
- 10:42okay, like not tell somebody they're great when
- 10:45they're horrible, right, because that's going to give
- 10:49somebody the thought that they don't need to
- 10:52work any harder.
- 10:53Number 14, do not rebuild old cages.
- 10:58Comfort is not freedom if it limits your
- 11:01growth.
- 11:02A lot of people say to me, John,
- 11:03you know, I don't want to do that.
- 11:05It's uncomfortable.
- 11:07Of course, it's uncomfortable.
- 11:09If it was comfortable, everybody in the world
- 11:11would be doing it.
- 11:12So success starts where uncomfort begins.
- 11:15I didn't say pain.
- 11:16I said discomfort and uncomfort, and when we
- 11:19can learn that we don't want to rebuild
- 11:22our old cages, our old houses, we want
- 11:26to grow.
- 11:28We want to understand that in freedom there
- 11:30is risk, and there is, yes, a feeling
- 11:34of uneasiness, but that is where success starts
- 11:37to come in play.
- 11:38It does not happen overnight, guys.
- 11:43It doesn't happen overnight, and the more that
- 11:45you are scared, okay, the more that you
- 11:51will want to hold onto something for dear
- 11:54life, like you cannot let it go, and
- 11:57that can be a very, very big problem
- 11:59for so many people.
- 12:01So be mindful of that, guys.
- 12:03Number 15, make peace with what is over.
- 12:09Resistance keeps you stuck longer than loss ever
- 12:12will.
- 12:13In my time, I've had some people that
- 12:15no longer were resonating with me, and I
- 12:19felt really bad that I needed to get
- 12:22rid of them in my life.
- 12:24I knew that if they stayed, that they
- 12:27would prevent me from growing.
- 12:29I've had friends from college that were great,
- 12:31but as I grew and they weren't ready
- 12:35to grow, they were going to hold me
- 12:36back.
- 12:38So I said, hey, John, you know what?
- 12:40I've got to make a change.
- 12:43I've got to cut these people, these things,
- 12:45these activities, these beliefs from my life, because
- 12:49if I don't, they're going to trap me
- 12:52in a cage, and they're not going to
- 12:54allow me to experience growth.
- 12:56I know that sounds very scary, but it
- 12:59is the truth, guys.
- 13:01Allow your wings to flap.
- 13:03It might be a little scary, but you'll
- 13:07find that we can all fly.
- 13:09Now, when I say fly, I don't mean
- 13:10go fly like a bird.
- 13:11I mean fly proverbially, so that you can
- 13:14actually take off and be the success that
- 13:17you've always been wanting to.
- 13:19Stop sitting on the bench.
- 13:21It's time to get into the game and
- 13:23play life for real.
- 13:25You know, guys, number 16, some losses are
- 13:28upgrades.
- 13:29What left you may have been blocking your
- 13:32next level, may have been the thing that
- 13:35prevented you from becoming the success that you've
- 13:38wanted to be your whole life, all because
- 13:40maybe your family, your friends, your loved ones
- 13:43have said, you know what?
- 13:43You can't give that up, but you can't
- 13:46run your life based on what someone else
- 13:49is telling you to do.
- 13:50I'm just being honest.
- 13:52You may not want to hear that.
- 13:53Your loved ones may not want me to
- 13:55say that to you, but I'm telling you
- 13:56what's right for you and for your life.
- 13:59Number 17, guys, quit carrying what crushed you.
- 14:03Strength is knowing what to release.
- 14:06So I'll go back to a story that
- 14:07I had, oh gosh, over 10 years ago.
- 14:10It was a person in my life who
- 14:12I was becoming friends with and in my
- 14:16community.
- 14:17And the person was really arrogant.
- 14:19They hated people, but we got along really,
- 14:22really well.
- 14:23But he hated everyone else around.
- 14:25He said to me, John, people are a
- 14:28waste of my time unless they're making me
- 14:32money.
- 14:33He was in the financial world.
- 14:34He still is.
- 14:36Now he's a financial risk director.
- 14:39And even when we went different places, whether
- 14:41it was a bowling alley, whether it was
- 14:42a restaurant, he was the most rudest you
- 14:44-know-what to these waiters, to these servers.
- 14:48I remember going to one restaurant, and I
- 14:50wasn't drinking, and he was.
- 14:52And I remember having my soda, what have
- 14:54you.
- 14:55And he goes, you know, it's because of
- 14:59me you got your soda for free.
- 15:01I just looked at him and said, oh,
- 15:02okay.
- 15:03He says, because I drank tonight, you got
- 15:05your soda for free.
- 15:07So, okay.
- 15:07I remember going to a bowling alley, and
- 15:10he didn't like the bowling alley because we
- 15:13had to wait a whole 10 minutes for
- 15:15a lane, which was nothing.
- 15:16It was so busy.
- 15:17I remember going to a pizza place.
- 15:19I'll still never remember to this day.
- 15:21We went to the pizza place.
- 15:22It was actually Auntie Franco's.
- 15:24I'm not going to tell you what town
- 15:24it was in, but we went to a
- 15:25pizza place.
- 15:26It was Auntie Franco's in northern New Jersey.
- 15:29And we went in, and I'm going to
- 15:32call him Mike.
- 15:33I'm not going to give you his real
- 15:33name.
- 15:34So, Mike goes in with me, and I
- 15:36said, Mike, I'm kind of hungry.
- 15:37Let's go grab a pizza.
- 15:38He said, okay.
- 15:39So, we go up there, and he goes
- 15:42to the guy who's helping us.
- 15:45He goes, amigo.
- 15:46He goes, yes.
- 15:47He says, what are your specials?
- 15:49He goes, if you look up the sign,
- 15:51the specials are up there.
- 15:53And he was real arrogant.
- 15:54He was like, I don't want those D
- 15:55specials.
- 15:56I want the specials, you know, that you
- 16:00cut when you're throwing things out.
- 16:03He said, he goes, how much is the
- 16:05pizza?
- 16:05So, specialty pizza was, I don't know, maybe
- 16:08$6, $5 or $6.
- 16:10And regular pizza might have been $2 or
- 16:14$3, roughly.
- 16:17So, he goes, I'm not paying $6 for
- 16:21that pizza, because it's 1130 at night.
- 16:24You close at 12.
- 16:25I'll give you a buck, because you're going
- 16:28to throw that anyway.
- 16:29That pizza doesn't cost you X to make.
- 16:31And he couldn't help.
- 16:35He was really arrogant.
- 16:36And then he got upset when the guy
- 16:37wasn't working with him.
- 16:38So, he walked away, and I said, Mike,
- 16:42what do you want?
- 16:42He's like, I'll have the, you know, I'll
- 16:44have the, what was he wanted?
- 16:47I had the buffalo, and I think he
- 16:49had the Parmesan.
- 16:51And so, two slices, that would have basically
- 16:55been $12, and the sodas, right?
- 16:59So, he goes to me, paid for the
- 17:02soda, whatever it was, for the pizza.
- 17:04He goes, just give me, so sodas usually
- 17:08like a buck, right?
- 17:09Bucks something apiece.
- 17:10So, it'll be like $2.
- 17:11He's just like, just give me four bucks.
- 17:14I said, you sure?
- 17:14He said, yeah.
- 17:15I go back to the table.
- 17:17He's like, what'd they rip you off?
- 17:18I said, four bucks.
- 17:19He said, how'd you do that?
- 17:20I said, well, when you're a little nice
- 17:22to people, I guess they treat you better.
- 17:24You were arrogant as you know what.
- 17:27And he didn't want to kowtow to anybody.
- 17:30And so, I let this go for a
- 17:32long time, and I figured this was just
- 17:33his way.
- 17:34But when I started hanging around people and
- 17:36doing these, his demeanor was coming off as
- 17:41coming from me because he was hanging around
- 17:43me.
- 17:43I said, I can't hang around this person.
- 17:45Long story short, he actually had moved out.
- 17:47He lived not too far from me in
- 17:49the same community.
- 17:50And I remember him moving out, and he
- 17:52was so arrogant to me.
- 17:53And one of his friends there said to
- 17:57me, why are you being so arrogant to
- 17:59John?
- 17:59He's just being nice to you.
- 18:01He's like, he's trouble.
- 18:02Don't talk to him.
- 18:04If he wasn't winning the game, then he
- 18:07needed to make sure that he was either
- 18:11out of the situation or basically said that
- 18:14he didn't care, which was a lie.
- 18:16So, I decided to let him go.
- 18:21It was a hard thing because we were
- 18:23good friends, but he had this attitude that
- 18:25just didn't sit well with me.
- 18:29Number 18, walk away without guilt.
- 18:32Staying too long costs more than leaving ever
- 18:34will.
- 18:35Staying too long will cost more than leaving
- 18:37ever will.
- 18:37Because you sacrifice your morals, you sacrifice your
- 18:41core values, and nobody should ever be asked
- 18:43to do that.
- 18:43Nobody.
- 18:45Number 19, stop fixing what is finished.
- 18:49Not everything is meant to be repaired, guys.
- 18:51No.
- 18:52And it's a hard thing for a lot
- 18:54of people.
- 18:55They try to fix something that's already done.
- 18:58It's like a painting that was finished.
- 18:59Oh, but that's what the artist wanted.
- 19:02Number 20, guys, freedom often looks like emptiness
- 19:07first.
- 19:09Space feels uncomfortable before it becomes an opportunity.
- 19:13Freedom needs to have some structure in the
- 19:15beginning, because if you don't have structure, things
- 19:17just fall apart.
- 19:18All right.
- 19:19Number 21, outgrow is rising.
- 19:25Evolution requires letting go of what no longer
- 19:28matches and serves you at your level.
- 19:31Now, you might decide to shed some things
- 19:33today or shed some things tomorrow or next
- 19:37week or next month.
- 19:39Whenever the time is right to do that.
- 19:41With tomorrow being Easter, it'd be a great
- 19:43time to start over with, for those of
- 19:45you celebrating Easter, the rising of our Lord.
- 19:49If you celebrated Passover, again, a happy Passover
- 19:51to you that you probably had a few
- 19:53days, and hopefully that went well for you.
- 19:55But it's the rising of our Lord.
- 19:57He died on the cross on Friday and
- 19:59Sunday.
- 20:01He's rising to heaven.
- 20:05And so that concept that you can rise,
- 20:09that you can actually become something by rising
- 20:15out of your insecurities, rising out of your
- 20:18disbeliefs.
- 20:20Number 22, guys, the next season needs lighter
- 20:24hands.
- 20:25You cannot receive more while holding on to
- 20:29less.
- 20:29Let me say that again.
- 20:30The next season needs lighter hands.
- 20:32You cannot receive more while holding on to
- 20:36less.
- 20:37So if you want to get more, but
- 20:39your belief isn't saying you're worth more, you
- 20:42never will get more.
- 20:44You know, when I coach people and say
- 20:45to them, hey, you know, John, I'm not
- 20:47making enough money.
- 20:48So what do you want to make?
- 20:49Oh, I'd love to make this, but I'm
- 20:50not worth that.
- 20:51Well, then you're never going to get that.
- 20:52You have to first believe you are with
- 20:54that.
- 20:55I remember when I started doing my keynotes
- 20:58a while back and charging a big difference
- 21:00to what I was normally charging.
- 21:02I believed I was worth that.
- 21:04The clients hiring me believe that, but it
- 21:07did not happen overnight.
- 21:08The first time I did it, it took
- 21:11a little bit of a while, maybe a
- 21:14couple of weeks to be ready to accept
- 21:17that new value, the new worth that I
- 21:20was becoming.
- 21:22Number 23, let closure be clean clarity, and
- 21:26it creates momentum.
- 21:27So in my case, I said goodbye, and
- 21:32he never really shook my hand.
- 21:35This guy, Mike, never shook my hand.
- 21:36He never said goodbye.
- 21:38He was just rude.
- 21:41I think the only thing he really did
- 21:43was say, get out of my way.
- 21:49I remember a few years ago, he was
- 21:50on one of the highways.
- 21:53He saw me in the car.
- 21:55I was like, oh, wow, that's Mike.
- 21:57As soon as he saw I was there,
- 21:58he passed me at 120 miles an hour.
- 22:00I'm doing the speed limit at 55 or
- 22:0265, whatever it was.
- 22:04That's somebody that has a problem.
- 22:07Now, I'm not here to try to fix
- 22:08that problem for them, but it can be
- 22:10sad, but I can't let that affect me,
- 22:13so I have to detach from it.
- 22:15When I detach from it, it no longer
- 22:17controls me.
- 22:18When you attach with something, that's when it
- 22:22becomes part of you.
- 22:23If you're in a relationship and you attach
- 22:25to it too strictly, then it controls you.
- 22:27Even any relationship, you shouldn't attach to it
- 22:30so strongly.
- 22:31That is my advice.
- 22:33Number 24, not everything needs revival.
- 22:36Some things are meant to stay finished, like
- 22:39the painting, like the project.
- 22:42Sometimes the door is meant to stay closed.
- 22:46Number 25, endings can be protection.
- 22:49What left me may have been saving me.
- 22:54That's a hard thing because when you lose
- 22:58a friendship or a romantic relationship, it's hard
- 23:03to say, well, how do I go on
- 23:05without this person?
- 23:06Well, you have them before you, and you
- 23:08don't want somebody like that in your life.
- 23:11Number 26, guys, release creates capacity.
- 23:16What you let go of determines what you
- 23:18can receive.
- 23:20The more you let go, the more you
- 23:21can take in.
- 23:22The more you empty out of your candy
- 23:24bucket, the more you can fill it up.
- 23:28Number 27, empty what drains you.
- 23:33Your energy is your most valuable asset, and
- 23:36by emptying, it might be worries you have
- 23:39on your head.
- 23:41It might be obligations you have.
- 23:43Are those obligations really necessary, or are you
- 23:46just putting that responsibility on you?
- 23:49I'm just asking that question, right?
- 23:52Are your necessities, are your things in your
- 23:59life that consume energy producing an ROI for
- 24:02you?
- 24:02Are they making you feel good, or are
- 24:06they just depleting you?
- 24:09I think sometimes it's hard for people to
- 24:11stop things.
- 24:12You know why?
- 24:12Because they're emotionally attached.
- 24:14When I tell somebody to get unattached, they
- 24:15look at me like I'm crazy, and sometimes
- 24:19they have to go through something traumatic to
- 24:20realize, you know what, I don't want to
- 24:22be with that person anymore, or I don't
- 24:23want to do this anymore.
- 24:25This can happen with a charity.
- 24:27Maybe you're giving too much, and maybe they're
- 24:29not grateful, and you decide that you want
- 24:31to pull back.
- 24:34It can happen a lot of different places.
- 24:36Number 28, guys, let go before you level
- 24:40up.
- 24:41Elevation requires elimination.
- 24:45Elevation requires elimination.
- 24:48I can give you an example.
- 24:49If you've ever been on a hot air
- 24:51balloon, and you start with the sandbags that
- 24:54are actually in, a lot of times they're
- 24:58in the balloon holding it down.
- 25:01When you take the bags and you throw
- 25:03them out, you are eliminating and thus allowing
- 25:07the balloon to have elevation.
- 25:10Think of it like that balloon.
- 25:12The more that you throw out, the faster
- 25:15you're able to just rise to the top.
- 25:19Pretty cool, right?
- 25:21I thought you'd think that was cool.
- 25:22Number 29, you do not owe your past
- 25:25performance.
- 25:27You do not owe your past performance.
- 25:30Who you were is not who you must
- 25:31remain today.
- 25:33Everybody knew you like that.
- 25:35It doesn't matter.
- 25:36You can change today.
- 25:37You could change tomorrow.
- 25:41If you're not happy with your life, don't
- 25:43repeat the past.
- 25:46Change it.
- 25:47Number 30, guys, leave the old story behind.
- 25:52Your next chapter in life cannot begin until
- 25:58you stop reliving the last.
- 25:59You might say, well, John, I could do
- 26:00both.
- 26:01You can, but then you're going to take
- 26:03a step forward.
- 26:03You might take two steps back.
- 26:05You're not going to be able to maintain
- 26:07proper energy.
- 26:10You're going to burn out.
- 26:11So you need to let go of the
- 26:14old story and prepare and use that energy
- 26:17with the new story.
- 26:20You don't want to relive your past over
- 26:23and over and over again, but I know
- 26:24a lot of people do that every single
- 26:26day.
- 26:27They relive the past because they think they've
- 26:30got to be a martyr.
- 26:32They think they've got to prove something to
- 26:34their family, their friends, their colleagues, their teachers,
- 26:37their associates, their mentors.
- 26:40No, you don't need to do that.
- 26:42Your mentor, your teacher, your coach wants what's
- 26:45best for you.
- 26:46So you might say, well, gee, John, they're
- 26:47not going to be happy I did this.
- 26:49If they're a good coach, sure they will
- 26:50be.
- 26:51If they're a good friend, sure they will
- 26:52be.
- 26:53Ladies and gentlemen, I know this is a
- 26:56message that probably struck a chord today and
- 26:58we're going to be talking about it all
- 26:59week.
- 27:00If this message spoke to you on even
- 27:03any level at all, I encourage you to
- 27:06take action today.
- 27:08Let go of one thing that no longer
- 27:09serves your growth.
- 27:11Progress does not come from holding on tightly
- 27:14and sweating and barely being able to feel
- 27:17anything.
- 27:17It comes from the choice of releasing what
- 27:21is finished so you can rise into what
- 27:24is next.
- 27:25I'm not going to tell you it's going
- 27:27to be easy to release.
- 27:28I'm not going to tell you it's going
- 27:29to be easy to start that new journey.
- 27:31But you can do it and you'll find
- 27:33that you'll be a lot more successful and
- 27:35more happy.
- 27:37Growth is a decision, guys.
- 27:39Change is a choice.
- 27:40Your next level is waiting for you to
- 27:42step into it.
