- 1:40Speaker 2: You click on it, and you're on. You're on TV,
- 1:42Speaker 2: not just audio, but video as well. All right, I've
- 1:46Speaker 2: got a commentary, but a couple of big news stories
- 1:48Speaker 2: of the day I want to mention before I get
- 1:50Speaker 2: to my commentary. Number one, Trump has Washington, D.C. so
- 1:54Speaker 2: locked down now, so safe, that the military pulled over
- 1:58Speaker 2: Brett Baer of Fox News. He was pulled over and,
- 2:02Speaker 2: I believe, ticketed. Ticketed, driving his wife's car. I'll get
- 2:07Speaker 2: to that later on in the show. It's not an
- 2:09Speaker 2: important story, but it's a funny story. It's an interesting story.
- 2:12Speaker 2: You can't even drive in DC if you're a Fox
- 2:14Speaker 2: News host without getting pulled over. That's how safe DC
- 2:17Speaker 2: is now. And then all these years, you know, I
- 2:20Speaker 2: was pre-law at Columbia University back in 1979 through 83.
- 2:27Speaker 2: And one of my heroes was the guy at the
- 2:29Speaker 2: time who I thought was the greatest lawyer in the world.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Certainly the greatest lawyer in America, but probably in the world.
- 2:34Speaker 2: And it was the guy who wore cowboy hats, long hair,
- 2:37Speaker 2: and fringe cowboy jackets. His name was Jerry Spence. And
- 2:41Speaker 2: Jerry Spence from Wyoming, who won some of the biggest
- 2:45Speaker 2: cases in the history of America, 96 years old, and
- 2:48Speaker 2: he died last week, surrounded by family at his home
- 2:52Speaker 2: in Montecito, California. What a legacy. What an amazing lawyer.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Not a fan of legal profession or lawyers in general. But,
- 2:59Speaker 2: you know, when someone's great, I'm just a fan of
- 3:01Speaker 2: anyone who's great at what they do. So as an example,
- 3:04Speaker 2: Alan Dershowitz is the greatest lawyer in the world today.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Jerry Spence was the greatest lawyer in the 1980s, and
- 3:10Speaker 2: he was my guy. I just was in awe of
- 3:13Speaker 2: his success and his talent and his achievements. Congratulations to
- 3:18Speaker 2: Jerry Spence. On a great life and a great career.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Life well spent. Family loved you. Surrounded you in death.
- 3:23Speaker 2: 96 years old. Passed from this earth last week. Jerry Spence.
- 3:28Speaker 2: All right. And then the last story before I get
- 3:30Speaker 2: to my commentary. The average American will get a $ 3, 752
- 3:33Speaker 2: tax cut due to the Big Beautiful Bill. So here
- 3:39Speaker 2: all the liberals and many conservatives were arguing they don't
- 3:41Speaker 2: like the big beautiful bill. The big beautiful bill is
- 3:44Speaker 2: no good. The big beautiful bill increases the debt too much.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Don't you want your $ 3, 700? Who doesn't want their $ 3, 752?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Anybody don't want it?
- 3:49Speaker 1: Raise your hand.
- 3:50Speaker 2: If you don't want it, I'll take it. I'll take
- 3:52Speaker 2: your $ 3, 752.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I want it.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I wonder if there's any sense on that. $ 3, 752 is
- 3:54Speaker 2: like 48 cents. I'll take it. If you don't want it,
- 4:11Speaker 2: I'll take it. All right. Big news stories today. More
- 4:14Speaker 2: of them coming up later on in the show. In
- 4:16Speaker 2: the meantime, I want to read you my column that
- 4:18Speaker 2: I wrote this morning. Trump is succeeding. He's making Washington, D.C.
- 4:23Speaker 2: safe again. Ask Brett Baier. Police pulled him over and
- 4:25Speaker 2: gave him a ticket. But Democrats are angry and panicking.
- 4:29Speaker 2: And the question is, why? Why would you be mad?
- 4:35Speaker 2: that Trump is gonna save some kid's life. Probably a
- 4:38Speaker 2: black kid's life. Because 90% of all crimes committed by
- 4:41Speaker 2: blacks in these big cities, and 90% of all the
- 4:44Speaker 2: victims are black. Even though sometimes whites, like in Cincinnati,
- 4:49Speaker 2: and in Washington, D.C. has been a few instances as well,
- 4:53Speaker 2: of white people being attacked by blacks. But in general,
- 4:55Speaker 2: it's almost all black on black crime. Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit,
- 4:59Speaker 2: you name it, New Orleans. It's black on black crime.
- 5:01Speaker 2: So when you lock down a city and make it
- 5:03Speaker 2: safe again, You are saving the lives of black people,
- 5:07Speaker 2: in particular black young people. But if Obama did it,
- 5:12Speaker 2: he'd be a hero. But Obama never did it. Obama
- 5:14Speaker 2: never gave a damn about black kids dying in the
- 5:16Speaker 2: streets of Chicago or Washington, D.C. So here's my column.
- 5:20Speaker 2: President Trump is pulling off a miracle. No other president
- 5:23Speaker 2: ever thought of doing this. He's taking over Washington, D.C.
- 5:26Speaker 2: and cleaning out the criminals, thugs, gangbangers, illegals, drug dealers,
- 5:30Speaker 2: and homeless bums. And it's working. Can I get a
- 5:33Speaker 2: glory hallelujah? Can I get an amen? Can we give
- 5:38Speaker 2: President Trump a standing ovation? He is making the impossible possible.
- 5:44Speaker 2: He is showing us we don't have to live in
- 5:46Speaker 2: fear and allow the criminals and gangs and drug dealers
- 5:49Speaker 2: to control the streets. And we don't have to be
- 5:51Speaker 2: prisoners in our own homes at night. Isn't that a
- 5:54Speaker 2: good lesson to learn? And the thing is, this isn't
- 5:57Speaker 2: about Washington, D.C. This is an experiment. And if it succeeds,
- 6:02Speaker 2: and it is succeeding, it's a model for the nation.
- 6:05Speaker 2: This is how Trump takes over all the Democrat-run big
- 6:09Speaker 2: cities and sends in troops and makes the mean streets.
- 6:13Speaker 2: safe again for citizens and taxpayers. And that's the main
- 6:16Speaker 2: job of government, by the way. I hate government. I
- 6:18Speaker 2: despise government. I can't stand paying government money. They waste
- 6:22Speaker 2: my tax money. But the one thing they're supposed to
- 6:24Speaker 2: do is protect us from foreign invaders at the border
- 6:28Speaker 2: and from people that want to do us harm inside
- 6:30Speaker 2: each city, from bad people, from criminals, from drug dealers. Bravo.
- 6:35Speaker 2: President Trump is proving it can be done. We can
- 6:37Speaker 2: take our streets back. We can make America safe again.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Shouldn't everyone cheer? Certainly anyone who isn't a criminal or
- 6:45Speaker 2: an illegal or a gangbanger or a drug dealer or
- 6:48Speaker 2: a homeless bum should be cheering. Certainly all the moms, dads,
- 6:51Speaker 2: and families whose children can walk the streets again without
- 6:54Speaker 2: fear of dying or being assaulted, raped, or robbed should
- 6:58Speaker 2: be excited and thankful and cheering President Trump and his actions.
- 7:03Speaker 2: But there is one group that is not cheering. They're
- 7:06Speaker 2: actually angry, bitter, and panicking people. That group is called Democrats.
- 7:12Speaker 2: So we need to ask why. Why would Democrat politicians
- 7:16Speaker 2: and Democrat political leaders be unhappy that criminals and drugs
- 7:20Speaker 2: and gangs and mentally ill homeless bums are being taken
- 7:23Speaker 2: off the streets of Washington, D.C. and soon many other U.S.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Cities?
- 7:26Speaker 2: Well, I know the answer. Teacher, teacher, pick me, please.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I've got the answer. There are only three possible answers.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Reason number one that Democrats are panicking and angry is jealousy.
- 7:39Speaker 2: You know, I know about this one firsthand because I
- 7:41Speaker 2: have one trait in life that has propelled me to
- 7:43Speaker 2: success my whole life. And everything I do, I'm a workaholic.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I may not be the smartest or the sharpest or
- 7:50Speaker 2: the strongest guy on the block, but I'm always the
- 7:52Speaker 2: hardest worker. In school, I was. In business, I am.
- 7:56Speaker 2: On TV and radio, I am. No one can outwork me.
- 8:00Speaker 2: No one can out-hustle me. And that has always made
- 8:03Speaker 2: my competition angry and bitter. You should see all the
- 8:05Speaker 2: conservative talk shows who hate me for no reason. I'm
- 8:09Speaker 2: the nicest person in the world. I'm nice to all
- 8:11Speaker 2: of them. They hate me because I outwork them and
- 8:14Speaker 2: they can't stand it. I work too hard in their minds,
- 8:17Speaker 2: which makes them look bad and lazy by comparison. People
- 8:22Speaker 2: don't like to be shown up and they think I'm
- 8:26Speaker 2: showing them up. Instead of copying me and working harder
- 8:29Speaker 2: to succeed, which is what they should do, they get
- 8:32Speaker 2: angry and bitter and jealous. They don't want me to succeed.
- 8:36Speaker 2: They'd rather I failed if it would make them look
- 8:38Speaker 2: good and allow them to keep doing nothing. That's certainly
- 8:43Speaker 2: part of what's happening here. President Trump is making Democrats
- 8:46Speaker 2: look bad, look lazy, look selfish, and look like losers.
- 8:50Speaker 2: They'd rather Trump failed and America failed if it would
- 8:53Speaker 2: allow them to keep doing nothing for the American people.
- 8:57Speaker 2: If Trump outworks them, out-hustles them, keeps winning a hundred
- 9:00Speaker 2: times a day, keeps making the impossible possible, keeps making
- 9:04Speaker 2: America great again and safe again, he showcases what miserable, lazy,
- 9:10Speaker 2: selfish losers Democrats are. If Trump is able to clean
- 9:15Speaker 2: up the streets of big cities... run 100% by Democrat politicians.
- 9:20Speaker 2: But the Democrat politicians who run those cities never even
- 9:24Speaker 2: tried to clean up the cities. The citizens will start
- 9:27Speaker 2: to realize Democrat politicians are good for nothing lazy bums.
- 9:32Speaker 2: If Trump succeeds, the citizens won't elect Democrats anymore. they
- 9:37Speaker 2: will see that the emperor has no clothes. They will
- 9:41Speaker 2: realize they never had to live this way in the
- 9:43Speaker 2: first place. They never had to fear dying in their
- 9:46Speaker 2: own streets, in front of their own houses, in their
- 9:48Speaker 2: own neighborhoods. They never had to be prisoners in their
- 9:51Speaker 2: own homes at night. They never had to accept living
- 9:54Speaker 2: in a third world crap hole. They will realize Democrat
- 9:58Speaker 2: politicians and Democrat policies caused their misery. Reason number two
- 10:04Speaker 2: is votes. Part of the reason Democrats are so angry
- 10:08Speaker 2: is the bad people President Trump is removing from the
- 10:11Speaker 2: streets of D.C. and soon other cities. Criminals, thugs, felons,
- 10:15Speaker 2: drug dealers, gangbangers, illegal aliens and homeless bums are the
- 10:20Speaker 2: base of the Democrat Party. Democrats understand they can't win
- 10:24Speaker 2: elections without these voters because the majority of good people
- 10:28Speaker 2: with families and jobs and responsibility and businesses and living
- 10:32Speaker 2: in homes that they own already vote Republican. Democrats need
- 10:37Speaker 2: criminals and thugs and illegals and drug dealers and drug
- 10:40Speaker 2: addicts and gangs and homeless bums to win elections. That's
- 10:45Speaker 2: their secret recipe, their formula. And then reason number three,
- 10:50Speaker 2: when we get back for the break in segment number two,
- 10:54Speaker 2: I'll read you reason number three. That's the most important
- 10:55Speaker 2: one of all. Wait to hear reason number three, why
- 10:58Speaker 2: Democrats are angry and bitter. and jealous of President Trump,
- 11:01Speaker 2: and panicking. Sponsor of this show, VRA, Vertical Research Advisory.

- 11:11Speaker 2: economic newsletter. Kip Herridge, who writes this newsletter, founded it
- 11:14Speaker 2: 22 years ago. Best newsletter I've ever read in my life.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I'm not even a stock guy, and I became a
- 11:19Speaker 2: stock guy because of Kip. Anybody can make money with

- 11:31Speaker 2: of the time with his highest rated recommendations. He calls

- 11:39Speaker 2: Everybody gets it free. VRAinsider.com, two weeks free. I know
- 11:43Speaker 2: you'll stay for life like I did. VRAinsider.com. All right,
- 11:51Speaker 2: a special treat for you. I want to introduce you
- 11:53Speaker 2: to a real hero of the American energy industry, a legend,
- 11:57Speaker 2: Mark Bruner, founder and CEO of Lost Soldier Oil and
- 12:01Speaker 2: Gas in the United States. Lost Soldier is the last
- 12:04Speaker 2: major BCGA, Basin Centered Gas Accumulation. This is code for
- 12:10Speaker 2: a monster field. where gas or oil is in a basin,
- 12:14Speaker 2: which makes the drilling and production much easier. Mark, you're
- 12:17Speaker 2: a legend in the oil industry and the gas industry.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Tell us about your track record.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Well, I'm a second-generation oil and gas guy. My father,
- 12:26Speaker 3: in the early 1950s, started a company called Techstar. It
- 12:30Speaker 3: later became Texas Oil and Gas. When it sold out
- 12:33Speaker 3: to U.S. Steel, it was the largest independent in the world.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Delhi Pipelines was the largest gas distribution system in the
- 12:39Speaker 3: United States. When it sold out to U.S. Steel, I
- 12:43Speaker 3: worked with him for four years. I've been in the
- 12:44Speaker 3: oil and gas business ever since. You would probably know
- 12:48Speaker 3: me better as the chairman.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Of Ultra Petroleum.
- 12:51Speaker 3: And I Ultra had a pretty good track record, which
- 12:55Speaker 3: you're very familiar with, I think.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Well, I think a $ 10, 000 investor in Ultra turned it
- 13:00Speaker 2: into $ 13 million. Is that correct? In the nine-year run
- 13:04Speaker 2: of your publicly traded company?
- 13:06Speaker 4: Yeah, at the high, that's true.
- 13:08Speaker 2: $ 10, 000 turned into $ 13 million. That means $ 100, 000 turned into
- 13:11Speaker 2: $ 130 million. That's an incredible track record. Now tell me
- 13:15Speaker 2: why this deal, Lost Soldier, this project is so important.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I hear about projects and deals all the time. What
- 13:23Speaker 2: makes this one special, Mark?
- 13:25Speaker 3: What's special about this is all the other basins in
- 13:28Speaker 3: the United States have been drilled. We've known for 50
- 13:30Speaker 3: years what they are. This one could not be drilled
- 13:33Speaker 3: because there was a uranium mine out here. Until it
- 13:35Speaker 3: was reclamated three years ago, no one could drill it.
- 13:39Speaker 3: This is surrounded by large oil and gas fields with
- 13:43Speaker 3: billions of dollars of infrastructure that at this point.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Is 85% empty.
- 13:47Speaker 3: So we made this discovery. We are the only operator
- 13:50Speaker 3: in this field. And right now we can see that
- 13:54Speaker 3: we've got enough room for 500 horizontal wells out here
- 13:57Speaker 3: with what we've drilled so far. Very exciting. It's the
- 14:00Speaker 3: new basin in the United States. And as far as
- 14:04Speaker 3: I'm concerned, this is an order of magnitude bigger than
- 14:07Speaker 3: Ultra Petroleum, the one that I did.
- 14:09Speaker 2: All right, the website is lostsoldier.com. Pretty simple stuff, lostsoldier.com.
- 14:16Speaker 2: The project, 40,000 acres, took 40 years to piece together.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It's called Lost Soldier Oil and Gas LLC. That's the company,
- 14:23Speaker 2: that's the project, but the website. Lost Soldier dot com.
- 14:28Speaker 2: If you're an accredited investor, Mark wants to hear from you.
- 14:30Speaker 2: If you want to hear more information, check it out.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Fill out the form and you get to Lost Soldier.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Mark and his people will get back to you as
- 14:36Speaker 2: CFO and let you know all the details you need
- 14:39Speaker 2: to know. Lost Soldier dot com. Thanks, Mark, for being
- 14:42Speaker 2: with us today.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Thank you, Wayne.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Good to see you again. All right, wait on the route,
- 15:06Speaker 2: the route, the route, the route's on fire. Let me
- 15:08Speaker 2: mention a couple things real quick, then I'll get back
- 15:10Speaker 2: to my commentary and finish it up for you. Russia
- 15:13Speaker 2: says they're open to a bilateral or trilateral talks with
- 15:16Speaker 2: Trump and Zelensky. That's so says Putin's foreign minister. Most importantly,
- 15:22Speaker 2: Switzerland said today they could sign the treaty in Switzerland.
- 15:25Speaker 2: You know, Trump must have arranged that. And then I've
- 15:28Speaker 2: got this story in here that I'm dying to tell
- 15:30Speaker 2: you about. But, you know, there's only so many stories
- 15:33Speaker 2: and so much time and But I thought I'd bring
- 15:35Speaker 2: it up real quick. The mayor of Boston basically says
- 15:37Speaker 2: it's like the American Revolution and the Boston Tea Party.
- 15:40Speaker 2: If you're going to come into my city, which is
- 15:42Speaker 2: a sanctuary city, and you're going to try and take
- 15:44Speaker 2: illegals and deport them, we're going to have a war.
- 15:47Speaker 2: We're going to go to war with you. And the
- 15:49Speaker 2: same thing in New York City. A state assemblyman and
- 15:52Speaker 2: a city councilman both said we should really go to
- 15:54Speaker 2: war with this administration, whatever we've got to do. This
- 15:58Speaker 2: is the problem with the crazy Democrat Party. They're nuts.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Who would fight for illegal aliens? You've never fought for me.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You've never fought on my side like that. You don't
- 16:09Speaker 2: give a damn when the government comes after me and
- 16:11Speaker 2: the IRS comes after me. You don't give a damn
- 16:13Speaker 2: when the government overtaxes me. You don't give a damn
- 16:16Speaker 2: when Social Security is about to go bankrupt. You don't
- 16:18Speaker 2: give a damn when my electric bill triples or quadruples
- 16:21Speaker 2: because of your freaking green energy policies. And I came
- 16:24Speaker 2: close to saying the other word, not freaking. You don't
- 16:26Speaker 2: give a damn because of freaking Obamacare destroying my health care.
- 16:31Speaker 2: But you care so much for foreigners who broke into
- 16:35Speaker 2: our country, foreign invaders. You're nuts. All right. I was
- 16:40Speaker 2: reading you my commentary. Trump is succeeding. He's making Washington, D.C.
- 16:44Speaker 2: safe again. But Democrats are angry and panicking. And the
- 16:47Speaker 2: question is why? And I read you reason number one.
- 16:50Speaker 2: They're jealous because Trump outworks them and Trump is succeeding.
- 16:53Speaker 2: And he's proving there are a bunch of failures. And
- 16:55Speaker 2: reason number two, they need the votes because all the
- 16:57Speaker 2: weirdos and the strange people and the criminal people and
- 17:01Speaker 2: the thugs and the drug dealers and the illegal aliens
- 17:05Speaker 2: that we're getting rid of and cleaning the streets and
- 17:07Speaker 2: kicking them out. Those are Democrat voters. They can't win
- 17:09Speaker 2: elections without them. And of course, they can't win with
- 17:13Speaker 2: the census without them. That's how Democrats have stayed in power.
- 17:17Speaker 2: They cheat. They rig the process. The census counts illegals.
- 17:21Speaker 2: And counsel all these scumbags. Let's clean them out and
- 17:24Speaker 2: they won't be there anymore. Reason number three, Democrats have
- 17:28Speaker 2: sold us out. All the above is true. But I
- 17:32Speaker 2: believe this number three is the most important reason why
- 17:35Speaker 2: they're panicking, why they're bitter, why they're angry. Democrats are
- 17:38Speaker 2: on the payroll of our worst foreign enemies. How many
- 17:40Speaker 2: times have I told you that on this show? Democrats
- 17:44Speaker 2: have sold us out. They've sold us down the river.
- 17:46Speaker 2: They're being paid to make America fail. They're on the
- 17:50Speaker 2: payroll of the Mexican drug cartels. They're on the payroll
- 17:53Speaker 2: of the Chinese Communist Party. They're on the payroll of
- 17:56Speaker 2: the mullahs of Iran. And where did the mullahs of
- 17:58Speaker 2: Iran get their money? We give it to them. Obama
- 18:00Speaker 2: and Biden give them billions. They kick back something to Democrats.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Just like in Ukraine. Where did Ukraine get money? We
- 18:07Speaker 2: give it to them. Then they kick back to the
- 18:08Speaker 2: Democrat Party. Democrats are being paid in two ways by
- 18:12Speaker 2: our enemies. to make America fail. First, Democrats get millions
- 18:16Speaker 2: deposited into offshore accounts. They're all getting filthy rich with
- 18:19Speaker 2: these bribes, this blood money. And if Trump succeeds in
- 18:23Speaker 2: making America great again, the money stops. The gravy train
- 18:26Speaker 2: is over. The jig is up, and that's why they
- 18:28Speaker 2: hate Trump so much, and that's why they're panicking. And
- 18:32Speaker 2: then secondly, Democrat campaigns are financed by illegal foreign contributions
- 18:36Speaker 2: sent in small denominations to avoid FEC reporting requirements. Didn't
- 18:43Speaker 2: you ever wonder how Democrats always seem to have more money,
- 18:45Speaker 2: more TV ads, bigger war chests than Republicans? Didn't you
- 18:49Speaker 2: ever wonder how a dumb-as-a-doorknob, clueless, incompetent moron like Kamala
- 18:54Speaker 2: Harris raised a record-setting $ 1. 3 billion for her presidential campaign?
- 19:00Speaker 2: It was mostly illegal money from our foreign enemies who
- 19:03Speaker 2: wanted this moron to be running the country because she'd
- 19:06Speaker 2: hand it over to them and she'd make America fail.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I've warned for years. that the Mexican drug cartels and
- 19:14Speaker 2: China and Iran's terrorists have been sending billions of dollars
- 19:18Speaker 2: in political contributions to Democrats through, I believe, ActBlue. That's
- 19:22Speaker 2: what they use to get all the foreign illegal money,
- 19:26Speaker 2: which is why it appears that ActBlue is about to
- 19:28Speaker 2: be indicted and closed down by the Trump DOJ. The
- 19:32Speaker 2: jig is up. Trump's DOJ is about to end this
- 19:34Speaker 2: scam of all scams. They are stealing elections with foreign
- 19:38Speaker 2: money from our worst foreign enemies. Trump's about to put
- 19:40Speaker 2: Democrats out of business because without foreign campaign contributions and
- 19:45Speaker 2: without dirty bribes offshore and without massive voter fraud, Democrats
- 19:51Speaker 2: cannot win elections. And that's why Democrats are so angry
- 19:56Speaker 2: and so bitter and so panicked that Trump is succeeding
- 20:00Speaker 2: in Washington, D.C. and everywhere else as well. All right.

- 22:20Speaker 2: and Gas is the sponsor of this guest segment. We've
- 22:23Speaker 2: got a great guest coming up, but I want to
- 22:25Speaker 2: mention that this is the second term of President Trump,
- 22:28Speaker 2: and it's all about Drill Baby Drill and making America better.
- 22:31Speaker 2: the energy capital of the world. Lost Soldier Oil & Gas,
- 22:34Speaker 2: founded by second-generation oil and gas legend Mark Bruner. His
- 22:39Speaker 2: companies have created more than $ 15 billion in shareholder value,
- 22:42Speaker 2: including Ultra Petroleum, which went from a public company, by
- 22:46Speaker 2: the way, which went from $ 0. 15 a share to $ 200
- 22:49Speaker 2: a share at its peak. A $ 10, 000 investment grew into
- 22:53Speaker 2: $ 13 million. You know, again, is there always an asterisk? Yeah. Yeah,
- 22:57Speaker 2: to hold it for the 10 years this thing was public.
- 22:59Speaker 2: But if you held it, 10K grew into 13 million.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Every 10K grew into 13 million. Have you ever heard
- 23:07Speaker 2: of it like that? One of the biggest hits in
- 23:09Speaker 2: the history of Wall Street. Lost Soldier is Mark's latest project.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It took 40 years to piece together this 40,000-acre giant
- 23:16Speaker 2: gas discovery field. Mark believes that this could become as
- 23:19Speaker 2: renowned as the Permian Basin from their initial testing. It
- 23:22Speaker 2: looks that big. If you're an accredited investor... and would
- 23:26Speaker 2: like to get involved in this project, would like to
- 23:28Speaker 2: hear more about it, would like to ask questions, just
- 23:32Speaker 2: go to LostSoldier.com and fill out the contact form. That's LostSoldier.com,
- 23:37Speaker 2: and they'll get right back to you. LostSoldier.com. All right,
- 23:41Speaker 2: guest segment. My guest is Dan Flynn, a senior editor
- 23:44Speaker 2: of the American Spectator, a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution,
- 23:48Speaker 2: author of The Man Who Invented Conservatism. It's the biography
- 23:52Speaker 2: of Frank S. Meyer, just recently. released today. Oh, we
- 23:56Speaker 2: got him on the day of the release. Frank S. Meyer,
- 23:59Speaker 2: Dan Flynn, welcome to my show. Wayne Root, how are you?
- 24:03Speaker 4: Hey, thank you for having me.
- 24:06Speaker 2: So I'm going to be very frank with you, okay?
- 24:08Speaker 2: I saw this and I said right away, let's get
- 24:10Speaker 2: him on. I want to hear about this because I
- 24:12Speaker 2: don't know this guy. I never heard of this guy,
- 24:14Speaker 2: Frank Meyer, who invented conservatism. I thought conservatism was invented
- 24:19Speaker 2: by a combination of James Buckley, right? Or the Buckley family,
- 24:23Speaker 2: I should say. And what was James' brother's name? I
- 24:26Speaker 2: can't remember his name now. I can't remember.
- 24:29Speaker 4: William F. Buckley.
- 24:30Speaker 2: William F. Buckley. William F. Buckley and Barry Goldwater, I thought,
- 24:33Speaker 2: were kind of the godfathers of conservatism. I don't know
- 24:36Speaker 2: Frank S.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Meyer.
- 24:38Speaker 2: So fill us in. If he's the guy that invented conservatism,
- 24:41Speaker 2: then I love him and I appreciate him and I
- 24:42Speaker 2: want to learn about him. So tell us about him.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Well, it's interesting that you bring up those two names.
- 24:49Speaker 5: When Meyer was on with Mike Wallace in 1961, Wallace said,
- 24:54Speaker 5: I would venture to guess that maybe one in a
- 24:56Speaker 5: thousand of my viewers know who you are, but I'm
- 24:58Speaker 5: told that William F. Buckley hangs on your every bit
- 25:02Speaker 5: of editorial advice. and that Barry Goldwater solicits you for
- 25:05Speaker 5: political advice, which is both true. And so Meyer was
- 25:09Speaker 5: a guy that was well-known in conservative circles, elite conservative circles,
- 25:14Speaker 5: but for people that were rank-and-file conservatives, they may not
- 25:18Speaker 5: have known him as much. He was president at the
- 25:20Speaker 5: creation of National Review. He was a founder of the
- 25:22Speaker 5: American Conservative Union. He was a founder of the Philadelphia Society.
- 25:25Speaker 5: He was there when they started Young Americans for Freedom.
- 25:28Speaker 5: He was a founder of the Conservative Party of New York.
- 25:31Speaker 5: So he was a guy that was fighting in the
- 25:33Speaker 5: trenches for conservatism, not necessarily for republicanism. When he was
- 25:38Speaker 5: with the Freeman magazine in the 50s, he urged them
- 25:40Speaker 5: not to endorse Dwight Eisenhower because he thought Eisenhower had
- 25:45Speaker 5: made a truce with the New Deal. And because he
- 25:48Speaker 5: did that, him and some of the other editors were
- 25:50Speaker 5: forced out of the Freeman. Later in 1960, when he
- 25:53Speaker 5: was with National Review, He said, under no circumstances should
- 25:56Speaker 5: we endorse Nixon or Nelson Rockefeller.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Two liberal Republicans. And he wrote this memo.
- 26:02Speaker 5: He said, we may have to wait until 1980 until
- 26:05Speaker 5: we get one of our own in the White House.
- 26:07Speaker 5: It may take that long. And so he's very prescient there.
- 26:10Speaker 5: He was also very prescient in 1962.
- 26:13Speaker 4: He said, Mr.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Khrushchev, tear down this wall. And, of course, 25 years later,
- 26:17Speaker 5: that's what Ronald Reagan did.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Well, you know, what's funny is you just mentioned something
- 26:21Speaker 2: very close to my heart. My dad and my mom,
- 26:24Speaker 2: David and Stella Root, are now dead, but they were
- 26:26Speaker 2: two of the founders. of the New York State Conservative Party.
- 26:29Speaker 2: You mentioned that this gentleman was Frank Meyer or Mayer,
- 26:33Speaker 2: excuse me, Frank S. Mayer was one of the founders
- 26:35Speaker 2: of the New York State Conservative Party. So I'm sure
- 26:37Speaker 2: my parents must have known him. My parents answered an
- 26:40Speaker 2: ad in the newspaper from their dear friend, Dan Mahoney.
- 26:45Speaker 2: And there was an ad in the paper saying, if
- 26:46Speaker 2: you think that Javits and Rockefeller are too liberal, then
- 26:49Speaker 2: come to the very first meeting and founding of the
- 26:52Speaker 2: New York State Conservative Party. And my parents answered the
- 26:54Speaker 2: ad and came to the meeting became friends with Dan
- 26:56Speaker 2: Mahoney and Surf Maltese, and founded the Westchester wing of
- 27:00Speaker 2: the Conservative Party. So that's my background. That's where I
- 27:03Speaker 2: come from. So I'll bet my parents knew this Frank Mayer.
- 27:08Speaker 5: Well, Surf Maltese was a source for the book. So
- 27:11Speaker 5: a lot of this stuff about Frank came from Surf Maltese.
- 27:14Speaker 5: But Dan Mahoney, of course, was the prime mover there
- 27:17Speaker 5: with the Conservative Party of New York. But they had
- 27:19Speaker 5: their first meeting in Queens, and Frank was one of
- 27:22Speaker 5: the guys that was at that meeting.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Yes, and Dan Mahoney lived in Westchester County, I believe
- 27:26Speaker 2: in Mount Vernon on the Bronxville borderline. And my family
- 27:29Speaker 2: and I, I still remember, as a little kid, we
- 27:31Speaker 2: used to drive to his house all the time and
- 27:33Speaker 2: talk about conservative politics. We were always at the Mahoney house.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Surf Maltese, I think, was the Queens guy, right? So
- 27:39Speaker 2: Dan was near us. We lived like five minutes from
- 27:42Speaker 2: Dan Mahoney. So we were always driving over his house.
- 27:45Speaker 2: What a small world, right? It's crazy what a small
- 27:47Speaker 2: world it is. So explain the term fusionism, which is
- 27:52Speaker 2: the blueprint, you say, for American conservatism. What does fusionism mean?
- 27:59Speaker 5: Fusionism was the dominant kind of default philosophy of American
- 28:03Speaker 5: conservatives from, say, Goldwater through Ronald Reagan. And at its
- 28:07Speaker 5: sort of distilled, simplistic level, it was that the American
- 28:11Speaker 5: founding is the tradition of America, and the founding means freedom.
- 28:16Speaker 5: So in that way you bring together libertarians and traditionalists.
- 28:20Speaker 4: And it gets a little bit more complicated than that.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Frank wrote a book called In Defense of Freedom, and
- 28:25Speaker 5: in that book he said that freedom, you know, the
- 28:28Speaker 5: government basically had three responsibilities, which is to provide for
- 28:32Speaker 5: a common defense, police powers, and to adjudicate disputes. And
- 28:36Speaker 5: anything beyond that is the government overstepping its reach. And
- 28:41Speaker 5: so basically what fusionism was was traditionalists and libertarians, they
- 28:47Speaker 5: found a way in which they were not in conflict,
- 28:49Speaker 5: but they were in cooperation, that you cannot have freedom
- 28:52Speaker 5: in this country without the thousands of years of Western civilization,
- 28:56Speaker 5: the tradition that it's rested upon.
- 28:57Speaker 4: You take that away, and the freedom's going to go.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it's funny that you just mentioned that. We really
- 29:03Speaker 2: do have a lot in common here. And I have
- 29:04Speaker 2: a lot in common with this Frank Meyer, because I
- 29:07Speaker 2: was just in my last segment saying that I can't
- 29:10Speaker 2: stand government. I hate government. I hate to say that,
- 29:12Speaker 2: but I really despise government. And the only two things
- 29:15Speaker 2: I think government really should be doing, I said, is
- 29:18Speaker 2: defending our country from foreign enemies, which means defend the border.
- 29:22Speaker 2: and defending you and me, the average citizen, from the
- 29:25Speaker 2: creeps and criminals and thugs in the street. And they
- 29:28Speaker 2: don't do either of those two very well. Trump does,
- 29:31Speaker 2: but nobody else seems to do those two very well.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Matter of fact, Democrats couldn't care less about either one
- 29:36Speaker 2: of those. But if Frank Mayer said the same thing...
- 29:39Speaker 2: you see where I get all this stuff from. It
- 29:41Speaker 2: turns out he was kind of the godfather that led
- 29:43Speaker 2: me to all these beliefs, and I didn't even know it.
- 29:46Speaker 2: So how come he kind of disappeared? Why isn't he
- 29:49Speaker 2: better known today? What happened to Frank S. Mayer historically?
- 29:54Speaker 2: Why isn't he part of the history of conservatism that
- 29:57Speaker 2: I know?
- 30:00Speaker 5: It was in England he was the Johnny Appleseed of
- 30:03Speaker 5: communism when he went over there he got deported the
- 30:07Speaker 5: reason he got deported it well one of the reasons
- 30:09Speaker 5: he got deported is that at the very time he
- 30:12Speaker 5: was calling for violent overthrow of the British government he
- 30:15Speaker 5: was messing around with Prime Minister Ramsey McDonald's youngest daughter
- 30:19Speaker 5: I don't know of Lennon or Che or Fidel Castro
- 30:22Speaker 5: or any revolutionary who was that brash as Frank Meyer
- 30:25Speaker 5: later when he testified against his former comrades when he
- 30:28Speaker 5: had a change of heart The Communist Party, and I
- 30:32Speaker 5: got this from British intelligence declassified files, they had wiped
- 30:36Speaker 5: him clean from their history. And there was a wiretap
- 30:40Speaker 5: where they're plotting to erase Frank Meyer. And so that's
- 30:43Speaker 5: why you don't get the Frank Meyer from the Communist Party.
- 30:47Speaker 4: The Frank Meyer from the conservative movement, it's been neglect.
- 30:51Speaker 5: And basically what happened is in 2022, after two years
- 30:54Speaker 5: of searching, I found Frank Meyer's papers in a warehouse
- 30:59Speaker 5: in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
- 31:00Speaker 4: There are letters from Tolkien, from Joan Didion, from C.S. Lewis,
- 31:03Speaker 4: from William F. Buckley, from Goldwater, Reagan, Henry Kissinger. You
- 31:08Speaker 4: go on and on.
- 31:09Speaker 5: All these famous personages of the 20th century are in
- 31:11Speaker 5: that collection. It took me two years to find 19
- 31:14Speaker 5: months to transcribe the relevant portions of those documents. But
- 31:19Speaker 5: all these other famous figures in the conservative movement, they
- 31:21Speaker 5: have papers in an archive.
- 31:22Speaker 4: Frank didn't.
- 31:24Speaker 5: And it took me a long time to find, but
- 31:26Speaker 5: I found it in that warehouse, and it took me
- 31:28Speaker 5: a long time to kind of transcribe it. But here
- 31:30Speaker 5: we have it in the book, The Man Who Invented Conservatism.
- 31:35Speaker 5: The reason why I think conservatives should get this is
- 31:37Speaker 5: because all of that information from that warehouse My book
- 31:42Speaker 5: is not coming from other books. This is coming from
- 31:44Speaker 5: documents that nobody has seen. There's a thousand letters from
- 31:47Speaker 5: Brent Bizzell, Wilmore Kendall, Bill Buckley that nobody has ever
- 31:51Speaker 5: seen before. There's letters from Barry Goldwater that nobody's ever
- 31:54Speaker 5: seen before. And it all came out of this warehouse
- 31:56Speaker 5: in Altoona. If I didn't find it, it was going
- 32:00Speaker 5: to be in an incinerator or in a landfill within
- 32:03Speaker 5: a few years.
- 32:04Speaker 4: So there's all this new information.
- 32:07Speaker 5: I collect, as you can see in the background. And
- 32:10Speaker 5: for people that collect, there's a phrase, new old stock.
- 32:13Speaker 5: And this material that I have all over my house
- 32:16Speaker 5: is new old stock. I have material that no one
- 32:19Speaker 5: has ever seen, but it's been sitting there collecting dust
- 32:21Speaker 5: for 60, 70, in some cases 100 years.
- 32:25Speaker 2: You know, I've always considered my heroes, you know, the
- 32:28Speaker 2: guys I really looked up to as a conservative. And
- 32:30Speaker 2: I grew up around the conservative party of New York.
- 32:33Speaker 2: My real heroes were Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan and Jack Kemp.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Jack Kemp's another kind of unsung hero of conservatism. And
- 32:41Speaker 2: I met him as a kid and he was my
- 32:43Speaker 2: hero because he was an NFL star, NFL quarterback and
- 32:46Speaker 2: an amazing congressman. And he's the guy that wrote the.
- 32:50Speaker 2: The tax bill, the tax cut bill that Reagan passed
- 32:53Speaker 2: and Reagan gets credit for, it was the Kemp-Roth tax
- 32:56Speaker 2: bill originally. So those are my heroes. And, of course,
- 32:59Speaker 2: the Buckleys, James and William, and Dan Mahoney. And now
- 33:03Speaker 2: I'm going to add to that list, Frank S. Meyer.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Dan Flynn wrote the book. It's called The Man Who
- 33:09Speaker 2: Invented Conservatism, the biography of Frank S. Meyer, just released today. Dan,
- 33:15Speaker 2: thank you for unearthing all of this stuff and bringing
- 33:18Speaker 2: this to my attention and all my viewers' and fans' attention.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Thank you, Dan.
- 33:24Speaker 4: Thank you, Wayne. I appreciate it.
- 33:26Speaker 2: All right, Wayne Elleroot, we'll be right back. Don't go anywhere.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Lots more to come. Hi, this is Wayne Allyn Root

- 36:12Speaker 2: got the beef, pasture-raised with no hormones, antibiotics, or mRNA ever.
- 36:16Speaker 2: exclusively available only to their members. Like Costco or Sam's Club,
- 36:20Speaker 2: you need to become a member. Go to greatpatriotstore.com, fill
- 36:23Speaker 2: out the form, they'll contact you right away, and boom,
- 36:26Speaker 2: you're a member. Go to greatpatriotstore.com. That's greatpatriotstore.com. All right,
- 36:54Speaker 2: big news, Dave. So much going on. My gosh, there's
- 36:57Speaker 2: so much going on. You know, Trump is not only
- 37:00Speaker 2: putting together this amazing meeting, a chance for peace between
- 37:04Speaker 2: Putin and Zelensky. Trump said today, no boots on the ground.
- 37:09Speaker 2: He made a promise there will not be American troops
- 37:12Speaker 2: on the ground. That's great news for all of you
- 37:15Speaker 2: who have, you know, young men and young women who
- 37:17Speaker 2: could be in the military or already are in the military.
- 37:20Speaker 2: They're not going to die in some war in Ukraine
- 37:22Speaker 2: and between Ukraine and Russia, a meaningless war to us.
- 37:26Speaker 2: I don't care about Ukraine. It means nothing to me. Now,
- 37:28Speaker 2: if Russia wants to take Poland and the rest of Europe,
- 37:30Speaker 2: we're going to war. But I don't think they want
- 37:33Speaker 2: to do that. They're not suicidal. Putin's not crazy. He
- 37:36Speaker 2: just wants part of Ukraine, a little part of Ukraine
- 37:39Speaker 2: that he's already taken that really naturally belonged to Russia
- 37:42Speaker 2: from the very beginning. And does that matter to me?
- 37:45Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't want my kids dying in
- 37:47Speaker 2: that war. I don't want your kids dying in that war.
- 37:49Speaker 2: So that's good news. That's good news. Lots of good
- 37:52Speaker 2: things going on. You heard my opening commentary. It was
- 37:55Speaker 2: all about Washington, D.C. and Trump succeeding and why Democrats
- 38:00Speaker 2: are so angry and bitter and panicking. Here's a story.
- 38:03Speaker 2: MS-13 gang member arrested in D.C. as Bondi, the Attorney General,
- 38:07Speaker 2: Pam Bondi, touts administration's extraordinary crime crackdown. So far, they've
- 38:13Speaker 2: arrested 465 total arrests. since Trump began federal operations in D.C.,
- 38:20Speaker 2: And it's working. I've heard the streets of Washington, D.C.
- 38:24Speaker 2: are absolutely safe at the moment. All the criminals are
- 38:26Speaker 2: in hiding. The illegals have gone away. And this is
- 38:30Speaker 2: an interesting one because, you know, I write so much
- 38:33Speaker 2: stuff and say so much stuff, I can't even remember
- 38:35Speaker 2: anymore where I said it or where I wrote it.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I don't know if this was in a commentary. I
- 38:40Speaker 2: don't know if this was in a social media post.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Or I don't know if I sent this as a
- 38:44Speaker 2: note to the President of the United States, President Donald J.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Trump.
- 38:47Speaker 2: But I said somewhere... On this show, I believe that
- 38:52Speaker 2: we should be offering rewards. I think I wrote it
- 38:54Speaker 2: in a commentary that if illegal aliens get a $ 5, 000, say,
- 39:00Speaker 2: to leave the country, right now it's $ 1, 000, I think
- 39:01Speaker 2: it should be raised, then the people... should get $ 500
- 39:05Speaker 2: for each illegal you turn in. And the U.S. Marshals
- 39:09Speaker 2: Service announces a $ 500 reward for tips that lead to
- 39:12Speaker 2: any arrest in Washington, D.C. That's not even about illegals.
- 39:16Speaker 2: It's any arrest when they crack down on crime. It's
- 39:18Speaker 2: the drug dealers. It's, you know, the bad muggers and
- 39:21Speaker 2: robbers and murderers and thugs on the streets of Washington, D.C.
- 39:26Speaker 2: In an effort to make D.C. safe again, the U.S.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Marshals announce a $ 5 a $ 500 reward for tips that
- 39:31Speaker 2: lead to an arrest in Washington, D.C. Scan the QR code.
- 39:36Speaker 2: above and submit your tip. Isn't that cool? That is
- 39:39Speaker 2: really cool. And so I don't know if they got
- 39:42Speaker 2: the idea from me or not, but I know I've
- 39:44Speaker 2: talked about it on this show. I know I've written
- 39:46Speaker 2: it in a commentary. $ 500 tips to the American people
- 39:50Speaker 2: for turning in illegals. Here you're turning in anyone who's
- 39:52Speaker 2: a criminal in Washington, D.C. I think you should turn
- 39:55Speaker 2: in illegal aliens. and make a $ 500 tip. And Louisiana, Mississippi,
- 40:00Speaker 2: Tennessee pledge additional National Guard troops to Washington, D.C. It's
- 40:04Speaker 2: a total of six red Republican states sending their troops
- 40:08Speaker 2: to Washington, D.C. Let's see if we can find out
- 40:12Speaker 2: which states are sending their troops, because I really don't know.
- 40:15Speaker 2: And I'd like to say those who send it are heroes.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Here we go. West Virginia, Ohio, and South Carolina have
- 40:24Speaker 2: already pledged hundreds of troops each in line with his
- 40:27Speaker 2: presidential memorandum authorizing state governors to send their troops to
- 40:31Speaker 2: help President Trump make D.C. safe again. So, West Virginia,
- 40:35Speaker 2: thank you, West Virginia. Ohio, thank you, all of you
- 40:38Speaker 2: out there from Ohio and the governor of Ohio. And
- 40:41Speaker 2: South Carolina, thank you, South Carolina. Now, add to that
- 40:44Speaker 2: list Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, all Republican states. and mostly
- 40:50Speaker 2: all southern Republican states. Here's that story I told you
- 40:53Speaker 2: about at the very beginning of the show. I mentioned
- 40:56Speaker 2: far left Boston mayor invokes American Revolution in a defiant
- 41:00Speaker 2: speech as she dares Attorney General Pam Bondi to follow
- 41:04Speaker 2: through on her ultimatum to sanctuary cities. Someone should give
- 41:09Speaker 2: this gal, this communist witch that runs Washington, D.C. What's
- 41:14Speaker 2: her name? I want to see her name. What a
- 41:15Speaker 2: terrible person. I don't even know your name, lady. You're
- 41:18Speaker 2: a nobody. Who is the mayor of Boston? Mayor Wu.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Mayor Wu. I don't know what her first name is.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Who cares? Mayor Commie Wu. There she is. Mayor Communist Wu.
- 41:33Speaker 2: And someone should give her a little lesson. Remember January 6th, darling? Honey?
- 41:37Speaker 2: Remember January 6th? I know you're probably mentally retarded, but,
- 41:41Speaker 2: you know, do you remember January 6th, 2021? Do you
- 41:44Speaker 2: remember back that far? You called those people... You said
- 41:48Speaker 2: it was a coup. They were traitors, right? They're terrible people.
- 41:54Speaker 2: That's what you're advocating. President Trump has a right to
- 41:58Speaker 2: arrest illegal aliens. It's federal law. It's the U.S. Constitution.
- 42:03Speaker 2: And you want to fight a war against your federal
- 42:06Speaker 2: government to protect illegal aliens. Are you crazy? You called
- 42:10Speaker 2: them insurrectionists on January 6th. You're an insurrectionist. You're a traitor.
- 42:16Speaker 2: And this is a coup. And this is all Solinsky said.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Look in the mirror, whatever you are, blame the other guy.
- 42:22Speaker 2: That's why they made up this coup that didn't exist
- 42:24Speaker 2: on January 6th. So they could then carry out a
- 42:27Speaker 2: coup in the future. Well, they did carry out a coup.
- 42:29Speaker 2: They stole the election from Trump. Energize Health is the
- 42:33Speaker 2: sponsor of this hour. Great program. I changed my life.
