- 0:01Speaker 1: The Blaze in Confused.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Podcast is rated M for marijuana no miners, but your
- 0:05Speaker 2: audience is only the episode post me getting fired, We
- 0:11Speaker 2: thought who can we bring on? And I don't know why, Stosh,
- 0:13Speaker 2: but you immediately came to mind.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Well you could believe it.
- 0:15Speaker 3: An outholder came to my mind first because he'd be
- 0:18Speaker 3: he'd be better.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Here than me. But yeah, I'm here still, so you know, Hey.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Bob, I'll try to live up to you.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Oh It's gonna be very difficult, though, I'm up for
- 0:30Speaker 4: the challenge. All right, that's awesome. What were we talking about?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Uh, we were talking about me getting fired and you know,
- 0:36Speaker 2: not just sound like a bitch, bud you are?
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 0:40Speaker 4: Has that one? Is that your first one? But that
- 0:44Speaker 4: was a bonus one.
- 0:44Speaker 5: Guy.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I keep going.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I walk outside my house and it's a little overwhelming.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I was out to dinner with you and two people
- 0:50Speaker 2: came up to me. That dude at the end made
- 0:52Speaker 2: me want a freaking job. We go out to Longhorn
- 0:54Speaker 2: Steakhouse and I don't know exactly what he said, but
- 0:56Speaker 2: it was something along along the lines of kid, wherever
- 0:59Speaker 2: you go, people will be listening to And I was like.
- 1:03Speaker 3: You can't at longhorn Stadhouse.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Even worse, even worse, I'll tell you, I definitely didn't
- 1:09Speaker 2: go across the bridge to Phillipsburgh, New Jersey to buy
- 1:12Speaker 2: weed and then take it back to Pennsylvania.
- 1:14Speaker 4: That would be illegal. Horse did not do that, thank you.
- 1:18Speaker 2: But hypothetically, if I would have done that, which you
- 1:21Speaker 2: would never do, which I would never do, I hypothetically
- 1:23Speaker 2: would have ran into this woman standing in line at
- 1:27Speaker 2: the dispensary who leaned over and said, it's so sad
- 1:29Speaker 2: what they did to you. And it's like, you know,
- 1:31Speaker 2: this is everybody likes to say this. Now, It's so
- 1:33Speaker 2: sad what they did to you. It's like, listen, they
- 1:35Speaker 2: just do it to me, and they did it to
- 1:36Speaker 2: a thousand freaking other people. They slashed fifty million dollars
- 1:40Speaker 2: of salaries in one day.
- 1:41Speaker 1: So I don't feel slighted. I'm not. I don't take
- 1:44Speaker 1: it personally.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I stand by what I wrote in my post was that,
- 1:48Speaker 2: you know, the saying you haven't worked in radio till
- 1:51Speaker 2: you get fired has been around forever.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Well, now I can say I worked in radio and
- 1:55Speaker 1: is what it is. Yeah, we've all been fired.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I was thinking about that too, everybody in this room
- 2:00Speaker 2: has been fired.
- 2:01Speaker 3: From radio, some of us, some of us more than others.
- 2:07Speaker 3: We're the voice guy to say my name at least
- 2:10Speaker 3: if you're going to abuse.
- 2:13Speaker 4: I don't know if we can anymore.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 2:16Speaker 2: That's the only thing we got to change with this
- 2:17Speaker 2: podcast is where you listen Now, I would you know.
- 2:21Speaker 2: We used to have to say, well, listen on the
- 2:22Speaker 2: free iHeart Radio app. Now I would prefer you listen
- 2:24Speaker 2: on Spotify.
- 2:25Speaker 4: But you can still listen on the free iHeart Radio app.
- 2:28Speaker 4: But I think you should listen on Apple podcasts instead.
- 2:30Speaker 4: But for my benefit, if you want to keep listening
- 2:32Speaker 4: on the iHeart Radio app, that would be great.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Google podcasts always an option.
- 2:36Speaker 4: They're everywhere, all right, especially on iHeart Radio. Anyway, we
- 2:42Speaker 4: got that out of the way. A few people have
- 2:45Speaker 4: asked the question, do they really heart radio?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yeah? Should we get into that.
- 2:50Speaker 4: No, because I still work there. Remember that'll be the
- 2:53Speaker 4: theme of the show. That should be the title of
- 2:54Speaker 4: the show. Becker still works there. Becker still works there. No,
- 2:58Speaker 4: but we do have stashback on you were on way earlier.
- 3:01Speaker 4: It's been a little while. Remind people of who you are.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Go ahead say it.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I worked for the ninety five for ten years from
- 3:08Speaker 3: eighty five to ninety five. I started out part timer,
- 3:11Speaker 3: than doing nights and then do an afternoon. In the
- 3:14Speaker 3: last two plus years I was there, I had a
- 3:17Speaker 3: lot of fun there. It was an interesting experience, to
- 3:21Speaker 3: say the least, the least amount of money you made
- 3:23Speaker 3: in the fucking world by far, except for all the
- 3:27Speaker 3: private stuff that you did exactly so you know, I mean,
- 3:30Speaker 3: the similarities I saw of him getting fired just brought
- 3:34Speaker 3: it back to me, man, like all the things that
- 3:36Speaker 3: happened to me when I recently bought a house. And yeah,
- 3:39Speaker 3: it's kind of hard to see all of this because
- 3:42Speaker 3: even though you know owns the radio station, I always
- 3:46Speaker 3: knew someone owed the radio station.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I consider there's a heart there and I see it.
- 3:51Speaker 3: It's hard to find and it's hard for people to
- 3:53Speaker 3: want to find it, to be honest, but I still
- 3:56Speaker 3: see it. I always will until the day I die,
- 3:59Speaker 3: and just enjoy the business itself. It's just the same
- 4:03Speaker 3: a shame to see what is happening to everyone, you know,
- 4:07Speaker 3: screw the management, just the you got to think about
- 4:10Speaker 3: the employees, man, Yeah, a thousand people and there's been
- 4:13Speaker 3: hundreds of thousands before. As Dave Silverstein said, last twenty
- 4:17Speaker 3: five years, things have been the same.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Why are you complaining now?
- 4:20Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 4:21Speaker 1: So very true. That's all I got. No, it's true,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and it's really you know, I don't even feel angry.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I don't feel angry towards my bosses because they got
- 4:32Speaker 2: emailed a list of people at eight am that they
- 4:34Speaker 2: had to.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Fire, and I was on that list.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Like how am I supposed to feel angry towards them?
- 4:41Speaker 1: It's just it's unfortunate, but it's disappointing.
- 4:43Speaker 3: It's radio and that's a good thing because I was
- 4:46Speaker 3: far from not angry. He was angry on your behalf silly.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Now it is, But in nineteen ninety five, it was
- 4:56Speaker 3: a different story. You know, without social media, things were
- 5:00Speaker 3: so different. You know what I thought. I thought my
- 5:03Speaker 3: Dick was bigger than Houston for CHRISTI, you know, because
- 5:06Speaker 3: You're the only game in town.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And I knew it. I'm like, how am I getting
- 5:10Speaker 1: away with this? I suck?
- 5:12Speaker 3: And uh, you know, I walked into work really happy.
- 5:17Speaker 3: I know why I ain't telling and I got fired
- 5:23Speaker 3: and I couldn't believe it.
- 5:25Speaker 1: And all I remember.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Is the program director walking around with me, I said,
- 5:28Speaker 3: why are you following me? I have to follow you?
- 5:31Speaker 3: I said, so, I'm not even trusted. This really sucks.
- 5:35Speaker 3: So it just brought all of that back. At least
- 5:39Speaker 3: you didn't have to experience that. And I'll tell you this, Joel,
- 5:42Speaker 3: if you don't think you're connecting on social media, you
- 5:44Speaker 3: really are, because I'm not a social media person and
- 5:48Speaker 3: your shit makes me giggle for some stupid fucking reason.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Same with exactly, the same with Becker, I giggle. It's
- 5:57Speaker 3: probably exactly you know. It's the no factor. I know
- 6:01Speaker 3: he's doing this.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I'm speaking of social media. I posted last week, would
- 6:07Speaker 2: you guys buy a car for me? You think I
- 6:08Speaker 2: could sell cars?
- 6:09Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 6:10Speaker 3: My best friend who's taking me sailing tomorrow, I sold
- 6:13Speaker 3: cars for Kross Toyota. When they were bored, they used
- 6:18Speaker 3: to lock him and another guy used to lock each
- 6:20Speaker 3: other in the trunk and see who could get out faster.
- 6:23Speaker 1: That's how bored they were at workings.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Though, when you're bored, when when you're showing cars on
- 6:28Speaker 2: your board, that means you're bored and not making money.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah right.
- 6:31Speaker 3: They made money for years, but then when there were
- 6:34Speaker 3: no ups and there was no one coming in the
- 6:36Speaker 3: building and you had no business coming your way. Then
- 6:40Speaker 3: your mind really wanders really fast, and he could never
- 6:44Speaker 3: set at a desk in a million years.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Look at this.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Shit's the Joel Got fired career finding episode. You guys
- 6:51Speaker 2: are gonna help me find a new career by the
- 6:53Speaker 2: end of this episode. Today's show not all about firings.
- 6:56Speaker 2: But we're super glad that Stasha is back with us.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Sash, believe it or not, we really do like you
- 7:02Speaker 4: and love your support for us and our careers and
- 7:04Speaker 4: stuff like that and being our friend. Uh so let's
- 7:07Speaker 4: do this. This is episode fifty six.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I have a funny feeling this is gonna be the
- 7:12Speaker 1: wrong button in one impresses it was the wrong one.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Hit the right one though.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker and Joel, The trivia
- 7:24Speaker 5: podcast where truth, Fury and THC glide. Let's spark your
- 7:30Speaker 5: curiosity and light up some knowledge though. Blazed and Confused
- 7:35Speaker 5: Podcast with Becker and Joel starts out, now we're back.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So you're really saying you won't buy a car from me.
- 7:43Speaker 4: I don't think it's because I know you, like I
- 7:46Speaker 4: would want to support your new career and everything. But like,
- 7:49Speaker 4: I know, you don't know anything about cars, but.
- 7:51Speaker 1: They all tell me the same thing. It's not about
- 7:53Speaker 1: knowing I can just hear you about It's not knowing
- 7:55Speaker 1: about anything about cars. It's about knowing people how to
- 7:58Speaker 1: talk to people. I know how to talk to be Yeah,
- 8:00Speaker 1: but I can hear you.
- 8:01Speaker 5: Now.
- 8:01Speaker 4: We've got red ones and blue ones.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Some have doors, some have two doors.
- 8:08Speaker 4: You'll want them or not?
- 8:09Speaker 1: No?
- 8:09Speaker 2: I mean, hey, honestly, though, wouldn't you wouldn't you prefer
- 8:13Speaker 2: to buy a car from somebody that doesn't know cars,
- 8:16Speaker 2: because then they're not slinging you any bullshit. It's just like,
- 8:19Speaker 2: all right, well, here's this car, and if you open
- 8:21Speaker 2: up the trunk, there's a lot of space back here.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It's very practical, you know. You take the kids to
- 8:26Speaker 1: soccer practice, You go to the grocery store, you put
- 8:28Speaker 1: your bags back here. Look there's hooks. You hook your
- 8:31Speaker 1: grocery bags on the hooks back here. See.
- 8:34Speaker 3: I got to figure out, maybe I'll do something to
- 8:37Speaker 3: the effect of Joel the salesman, Like when he's talking
- 8:40Speaker 3: like that, yeah, he's selling himself and he could actually
- 8:43Speaker 3: be out there being a selling a product. Or selling
- 8:45Speaker 3: a car. Yeah, I'll be saying he's doing it right
- 8:47Speaker 3: now in a different way. Yeah, I have to figure out.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I think that was pretty convinced. Sound effect, guy, I.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Think that was pretty convincing. What else do you think
- 8:55Speaker 1: you get? What else could I sell?
- 8:57Speaker 4: Like, what's another product that you like a lot? Maybe
- 8:59Speaker 4: he's phones? You can probably cell phones right or MacBooks?
- 9:01Speaker 1: No.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I tried to get a job at the Apple store
- 9:03Speaker 2: once and I didn't get it.
- 9:05Speaker 4: I got to mention something. By the way, I'm Becker.
- 9:07Speaker 4: That's my friend Joeld Stasha is here with us today.
- 9:09Speaker 4: I hate that you're holding a taser of some sort.
- 9:12Speaker 4: I fucking can't stand it. All right, So he was
- 9:14Speaker 4: using it before you got here, scaring the shit out
- 9:16Speaker 4: of me.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I don't know what the what you would call this?
- 9:18Speaker 2: So I'm so bored. I'm fired. I'm unemployed. Day what three?
- 9:21Speaker 4: Split away from the metal stuff?
- 9:23Speaker 2: Today I clean my house And you know it's interesting.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I just moved into this house that I now can't afford.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Don't you love how that works? I just moved into
- 9:31Speaker 2: this house, like what a month ago? A month and
- 9:33Speaker 2: a half ago. And you'd think that when you move
- 9:35Speaker 2: you clean up your life and you only move with
- 9:37Speaker 2: the things that you need. I found this today as
- 9:40Speaker 2: I clean the house that I just moved into.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Why do you have that?
- 9:45Speaker 3: I hate that.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It's like just in case you ever have to it
- 9:48Speaker 1: comes in handy. I guess I've never had to use it.
- 9:50Speaker 2: But I will be honest with you, I am a
- 9:52Speaker 2: little tempted to like try it because you know that,
- 9:56Speaker 2: you know the police, like before they can carry around
- 9:58Speaker 2: a taser, they have to be tase them.
- 10:00Speaker 1: So I am a little tempted to hold if we're
- 10:03Speaker 1: if we're doing this, Becker, let me tease you. No,
- 10:08Speaker 1: chase yourself. I don't know.
- 10:10Speaker 4: You want to see how it feels. Do it to yourself?
- 10:12Speaker 1: No, I'm not. Why not? Well, I like say that
- 10:15Speaker 1: I want to do that, but then you try and
- 10:16Speaker 1: you can't do it.
- 10:20Speaker 4: I'm gonna I.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Can't do it. But I found it is good to have,
- 10:27Speaker 1: I suppose. I'm sorry.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Where did you find this thing?
- 10:29Speaker 2: I found it in my house that I did. Remember
- 10:31Speaker 2: when I got found that in here? Like just randomly, Yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 2: I had this for you. I've had this for years though,
- 10:36Speaker 2: Oh okay, I've had this for years. I thought the
- 10:37Speaker 2: prior person who lived here had that. No, no, no,
- 10:42Speaker 2: and you just stumbled upon it. You're like, oh, it's
- 10:43Speaker 2: in the bar.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Honestly, though we know the prior person that I know,
- 10:46Speaker 1: the show would make sense. Would you be surprised if
- 10:49Speaker 1: she had this? I bet you has several of those? Actually, yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: it is good to happen.
- 10:56Speaker 3: No.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I got this a couple of years ago.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I for the longest time, I was recording a sports
- 11:00Speaker 2: betting talk show. I know nothing about sports, but I
- 11:04Speaker 2: know how to record a sports betting talk show.
- 11:06Speaker 4: So it's like cars. You don't know anything about cars,
- 11:09Speaker 4: but you can tell them people, I can tell them.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:11Speaker 2: But my my sports betting talk show guy, who I've
- 11:14Speaker 2: worked with for years, Guy, my guy gave this to
- 11:17Speaker 2: me and said.
- 11:19Speaker 1: It's good for you to have.
- 11:20Speaker 2: He's got a real thick like I think he's from
- 11:22Speaker 2: like Hoboken or something. He's got a real thick Jersey accents.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Good for you to have here. You go, yeah, I
- 11:27Speaker 1: like your Jesse accent. Thank you, Tony Sopranos.
- 11:30Speaker 4: It's like, all right, we've got things to get to here.
- 11:33Speaker 4: We have to get to these things.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Wrap it round, Wrap it round. Ready, Stash,
- 11:39Speaker 1: I'll stay out of it. Ten questions. Oh God, I
- 11:43Speaker 1: suck at this. Here we go, that's why we're doing it.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Here we go. The game begins in three.
- 11:54Speaker 2: All right, stosh, he, she and the are examples of
- 11:58Speaker 2: what kind of speech.
- 11:59Speaker 4: I'm have to say they?
- 12:00Speaker 1: But go ahead? Prepositions?
- 12:03Speaker 4: No, what is another name for one hundred years century?
- 12:08Speaker 1: What continent is Spain? And you're yeah?
- 12:14Speaker 4: The three primary colors are red, blue, and what white?
- 12:17Speaker 1: No? In business? What does r O I stand for?
- 12:23Speaker 5: No?
- 12:23Speaker 4: Idea? What force? What keeps planets in and? Let me
- 12:30Speaker 4: do that again? What force keeps planets in orbit? Around
- 12:32Speaker 4: the sun? Rapid round?
- 12:38Speaker 1: Quickly? Gravity? Yeah? It is okay? How many chambers are
- 12:41Speaker 1: in the human heart?
- 12:42Speaker 3: For?
- 12:43Speaker 4: Yeah? What country's capital is Budapest?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Romanian? No?
- 12:48Speaker 2: What zodiac sign is represented by two fish ices?
- 12:52Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:53Speaker 4: What sport uses a bat?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Third? You idiot?
- 12:56Speaker 4: What sport uses a bat, a wicket and a pitch?
- 13:00Speaker 1: Uh? Cricket? Yeah? You got that one. I thought the
- 13:03Speaker 1: answer was your mom?
- 13:04Speaker 5: No?
- 13:05Speaker 1: No, mother?
- 13:08Speaker 4: All right, fine, you guys got that right?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Wow?
- 13:11Speaker 1: What's sport? Happy? For me? What sport uses a battle?
- 13:14Speaker 1: Wicked and a pitch? Well, obviously it's your mom.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Anyway, let's recap.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Oh my god, a clean mom joke.
- 13:24Speaker 2: He, she and they, as the typo goes, are examples
- 13:29Speaker 2: of what kind of speech you said prephysitions.
- 13:31Speaker 4: It's a pro noun pronoun. Okay, what's my note saying?
- 13:34Speaker 4: Next to that?
- 13:35Speaker 1: It's pubs hate pronoun pronoun? What's another name? For one
- 13:42Speaker 1: hundred years century centurred? You have known that? Joe?
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:46Speaker 2: Right, probably all right? You remember that song by five
- 13:49Speaker 2: for fighting? It was like one hundred years.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Remember that song? Yeah, it was. It's like a nice ballad. Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: that's how that's that's how good. Anyway? Moving on? What
- 14:01Speaker 1: else were we talking about?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Such a great podcast we have. It's funny everybody who's
- 14:06Speaker 2: like reaching out saying.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Oh, you got fired? You should start a podcast? Actually
- 14:11Speaker 1: I have a podcast, not only here, not only do
- 14:14Speaker 1: I have a podcast? How many episodes do it?
- 14:16Speaker 4: This is fifty six?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Holy crap?
- 14:18Speaker 4: Yeah, great, friends, you have.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You should start a podcast? Where have you been? Yeah?
- 14:24Speaker 2: About fifty six episodes of a podcast where I ramble
- 14:27Speaker 2: on about this, that and the other thing. Well maybe
- 14:29Speaker 2: a little intoxicated, maybe maybe.
- 14:32Speaker 1: How many of yours? You have? I drink last night?
- 14:37Speaker 1: I would drink with the other night. It's only Miller line.
- 14:39Speaker 1: It's just water beer. I shouldn't say that.
- 14:41Speaker 4: All these sponsorship opportunities out though.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Wind all right, but you know, wamn for you. They
- 14:47Speaker 1: call it light for a reason, so you can keep
- 14:49Speaker 1: drinking them. Yeah, and that's what that's what I mean
- 14:51Speaker 1: by that. Thank you very much, Moving on, moving on?
- 14:54Speaker 4: Where were we forget?
- 14:55Speaker 5: Or?
- 14:55Speaker 1: I have no idea?
- 14:56Speaker 4: You're the continent in Spain? Is in Europe?
- 14:59Speaker 1: We got that? Yeah? Three primary colors red blue and
- 15:02Speaker 1: what you shed it under your breath? Yellow? Yellow yellow?
- 15:05Speaker 1: In business, what does rol I stand for? You really
- 15:08Speaker 1: don't know this. I will when you tell me return
- 15:10Speaker 1: on investment, Turn on an investment?
- 15:12Speaker 4: Okay, four chambers in the heart. What country's capital is Budapest?
- 15:15Speaker 1: You said Romania?
- 15:16Speaker 4: That is we were looking for Hungary hungry?
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Zodiac sign that's represented by two fish Pisces.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Only because I'm born of Pisces. Yeah, it was so easy.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I don't know how any of that show works. What
- 15:28Speaker 2: sport uses a bat of wicked and pitch?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Your mom?
- 15:31Speaker 4: Yeah, your mouth right?
- 15:32Speaker 1: Your mountain blazed and confused random thoughts.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Now comes to part of the show where Becker has
- 15:40Speaker 2: random thoughts that I read.
- 15:41Speaker 1: For some reason, it makes me happy. I don't understand
- 15:44Speaker 1: makes me happy.
- 15:44Speaker 4: I don't understand that either, because I typed them out
- 15:48Speaker 4: when I'm high, and I put them on my phone
- 15:49Speaker 4: to write out later.
- 15:50Speaker 3: So I was expecting Becker to just blurt them out
- 15:54Speaker 3: on his own. No, No, Joel get gets to be
- 15:58Speaker 3: an announcer.
- 15:59Speaker 1: There we go.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Uh oh, I was going to go to Joel's Fourth
- 16:03Speaker 2: of July party, but I'm going to the Great American
- 16:06Speaker 2: State Fair instead.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Are you guys going? No? Do you bear? I heard
- 16:12Speaker 1: there's like, you know, six people there right now, isn't there?
- 16:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but apparently the crowds are huge, and yeah, everything's
- 16:18Speaker 4: going well.
- 16:18Speaker 2: The funny thing about that is that they saying that
- 16:21Speaker 2: crowds are huge, But then like Caroline Lovett, the Press secretary,
- 16:24Speaker 2: she posted pictures or she took her kid to the
- 16:27Speaker 2: Great American Fair, there's nobody there, Like she posted a pictures.
- 16:32Speaker 2: There's nobody there.
- 16:32Speaker 1: So you guys aren't going. No, you are coming to
- 16:35Speaker 1: my Fourth of July party? Yeah, my first party in
- 16:37Speaker 1: the house.
- 16:38Speaker 2: That I can't afford having a party that I can't
- 16:40Speaker 2: afford in the house. I can't afford, So I hope
- 16:41Speaker 2: everybody's bringing everything.
- 16:44Speaker 1: She doesn't have anything.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I said, I'll be supplying the beer, the
- 16:48Speaker 2: burghers and the dogs and other party supplies.
- 16:51Speaker 4: I've seen you light a grill. I'm worried about this.
- 16:53Speaker 4: You keep bringing this up. It's fun. I saw him
- 16:56Speaker 4: last year on the other side of Mexico. It was
- 16:59Speaker 4: their last week, and he was by the grill, like,
- 17:02Speaker 4: standing away from it, trying to light it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Well, what am I supposed to do? Stand on top
- 17:05Speaker 1: of it?
- 17:06Speaker 4: I was just really funny, dude. I've watched you just
- 17:08Speaker 4: be afraid of your grill for thirty seconds. It was
- 17:10Speaker 4: really funny. But you did say it happens quite often, right,
- 17:13Speaker 4: You're just afraid to light it?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Is that what it is? Well, I think I need
- 17:15Speaker 1: to clean it. I should probably do that'll scare you though.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I should probably do that before the fourth or July party,
- 17:21Speaker 2: shouldn't I probably clean the grill.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that sounds like a pain in the ass.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Everyone's gonna be like, and I'm like, Joe, still trying
- 17:27Speaker 4: to turn on the grill.
- 17:29Speaker 1: How do you clean the grill? You got to take
- 17:31Speaker 1: it all apart and scrub it all.
- 17:32Speaker 4: That's annoying. That's why I'm throwing mine away. What else
- 17:35Speaker 4: is on here?
- 17:36Speaker 1: Random thoughts?
- 17:37Speaker 3: Uh?
- 17:37Speaker 2: I read Becker's random thoughts. I realized the other day
- 17:40Speaker 2: that I often have two moods. I'm too high for
- 17:43Speaker 2: this shit and I'm not high enough for this shit
- 17:46Speaker 2: that I used to that random thoughts, random thoughts?
- 17:50Speaker 1: What else?
- 17:51Speaker 4: I read that four in ten adults have been fired
- 17:53Speaker 4: at least one time. So that was something I wrote
- 17:58Speaker 4: down for a different episode just so happened to coincide
- 18:01Speaker 4: with this episode.
- 18:01Speaker 1: So you wrote it down for a different episode. Did
- 18:04Speaker 1: for next week? Yeah?
- 18:05Speaker 3: Did?
- 18:05Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 18:06Speaker 4: I was planning ahead because we're back. We weren't going
- 18:09Speaker 4: to do a show. But look at us doing a show.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Oh that's right, we weren't. Oh I thought you were
- 18:14Speaker 4: seeing into the future of me getting fired.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Another thing that surprises the hell out of me. You
- 18:19Speaker 3: guys doing a show. Yeeah, I'm you about that too.
- 18:22Speaker 3: When you called me Becker and said, hey, yeah, we're
- 18:25Speaker 3: going to do a show, nothing changes. Everything's yeah the
- 18:28Speaker 3: way it is, Bruce Hornsby, I'm like, what the hell,
- 18:31Speaker 3: how does that happen?
- 18:32Speaker 4: By the way, love Bruce Hornsby. All right, we've got
- 18:36Speaker 4: questions for each other. Stosh, you are a lifeline. We
- 18:38Speaker 4: can come to you one time for these.
- 18:39Speaker 1: All right, go for it. It's trivia. Yeah, are you
- 18:43Speaker 1: prepared at all? Yes? I have questions written? All right.
- 18:45Speaker 1: You had a whole week off to prepare, so thanks
- 18:49Speaker 1: for the reminder.
- 18:49Speaker 4: All just make it sure, question number one, just making sure.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Usually you're not prepared.
- 18:55Speaker 1: So you're going to get them all wrong like you
- 18:57Speaker 1: did last time. Great. Yeah, hm, I'm not even gonna
- 19:01Speaker 1: let you pick your category this all right?
- 19:06Speaker 3: By the way, sure, yeah, he said something before you
- 19:09Speaker 3: and then you lied.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Let's do international geography, shall we? Sure?
- 19:14Speaker 4: Where is an ashtray? Where's the geography of your astrak?
- 19:19Speaker 1: I don't think I have one down here, to be
- 19:20Speaker 1: honest with you. Oh hmmm, I don't see one. I
- 19:24Speaker 1: guess I could just put it in here. Yeah, okay?
- 19:28Speaker 2: What body of water separates Saudi Arabia from Africa? You
- 19:34Speaker 2: can always tell when he's gonna get it wrong because
- 19:36Speaker 2: of his facial expressions.
- 19:39Speaker 1: He starts with it. He goes like, I hate everything.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I hate. All of your questions are stupid, Dittoh bitch
- 19:46Speaker 1: got dumb shit too.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Read it again.
- 19:47Speaker 2: What body of water separates Saudi Arabia from Africa?
- 19:54Speaker 4: I'm gonna say the red Sea?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 19:57Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:58Speaker 3: I get it.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, where'd you pull that one out?
- 20:02Speaker 4: That's the only C I can think of right now.
- 20:04Speaker 4: I knew it was a C.
- 20:05Speaker 1: I just couldn't remember if you should have said the
- 20:06Speaker 1: blue sea because there's no such thing. Yeah, or a
- 20:09Speaker 1: yellow sea? Does that exists? Yeah, that's what happens when
- 20:13Speaker 1: you go in the ocean and you pee. All right,
- 20:16Speaker 1: we're a very mature show. Question two. All right, how
- 20:21Speaker 1: about math? Okay, E equals mc squared. We've all heard
- 20:27Speaker 1: it before. Yeah, you know what that means, right, E
- 20:30Speaker 1: equals mc square. Do I know what it means? Well,
- 20:33Speaker 1: it's the formula for Einstein's theory of what relativity? Hell? Yeah,
- 20:39Speaker 1: that was easy, man. What does that even mean? Well?
- 20:44Speaker 4: I always get him wrong. So if he has a
- 20:46Speaker 4: music one coming up, which I'm sure he does.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Speaking of music, let's give you that music question question three.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I feel like you're gonna go to your lifeline and
- 20:54Speaker 2: he's gonna know this probably probably all right?
- 20:58Speaker 1: Music? All right?
- 20:59Speaker 2: Andineteen seventy three hit Piano Man by Billy Joel.
- 21:03Speaker 1: What's the first name of the man that Paul is
- 21:07Speaker 1: having a conversation with?
- 21:10Speaker 4: I'm trying to think of the beginning of the song.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I don't think it's in the beginning lyrics begin say
- 21:16Speaker 4: it again.
- 21:18Speaker 2: In the nineteen seventy three hit Piano Man by Billy Joel,
- 21:22Speaker 2: what's the first name of the man that Paul is
- 21:25Speaker 2: having a conversation with? Like, if you listen to the song,
- 21:29Speaker 2: the lyrics of you know, the verses tell a story
- 21:33Speaker 2: of a dude named Paul sitting at a bar talking
- 21:35Speaker 2: to who that's my question?
- 21:39Speaker 1: Just got to sing it.
- 21:40Speaker 4: I'm trying to Yeah, I can't. I'm gonna go with
- 21:43Speaker 4: Stash as my lifeline for this one. Jill, Jill, So
- 21:47Speaker 4: you what do you want to go with? I don't
- 21:50Speaker 4: like your reply to him, Jill. I'm gonna say, Jill.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Final answer, Jill, If you want to go with Jill,
- 21:57Speaker 4: there is that better Jill?
- 21:58Speaker 5: Is it?
- 21:58Speaker 4: Joe is no final answer? I got one wrong, all right?
- 22:04Speaker 1: So I'm gonna sing this to you all right, all
- 22:06Speaker 1: right now. Paul is a real estate novelist.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Who never had time for life, and he's quick with
- 22:15Speaker 2: a joke your smoke.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Wait is that the words? No? Oh god? I think yeah, yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 1: maybe you're right.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Sounds right, but yeah, uh, I'm not good at what
- 22:27Speaker 3: are you doing here?
- 22:30Speaker 1: My favorite line of that song is and the piano
- 22:33Speaker 1: sounds like a carnival estate fair and where nobody's there?
- 22:38Speaker 1: What and the microphone smells like your mom? Your mom?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Uh No, The correct answer is Davy, and he's talking
- 22:51Speaker 1: with Davy, who's.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Probably son of a bitch.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Question for god, I love your voice, guy, These buttons
- 23:04Speaker 1: are all screwed up. All right. Maybe I'll let you
- 23:06Speaker 1: pick the category for the last question. Since I'm such
- 23:08Speaker 1: a nice Do you want Disney? I'm gonna give you Disney?
- 23:13Speaker 1: Never mind? All right?
- 23:16Speaker 2: Quite a choice, right, he's great because I was. The
- 23:19Speaker 2: other one was health and wellness, and I think it's
- 23:21Speaker 2: too easy.
- 23:22Speaker 4: I'm gonna give you a choice.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Well, maybe i'll give you. This isn't my question, but
- 23:26Speaker 2: let's just see if you knew it, all right. A
- 23:27Speaker 2: nurse takes a person's radial pulse by feeling what part
- 23:30Speaker 2: of their body there are there, wrist, the wrist.
- 23:34Speaker 1: See, it was too easy, That was too easy, all right.
- 23:35Speaker 1: That's why I'm gonna go to Disney note though that
- 23:38Speaker 1: I got that right, but that's not my question. Disney.
- 23:42Speaker 1: What law and Order? Vet was the voice of Lumineer
- 23:46Speaker 1: in Beauty and the Beast Loumier is say the can?
- 23:51Speaker 1: Isn't that the candle thing? Lumineer? What's his name? Lumire, Lumire, Lumire,

- 24:14Speaker 1: That's not allowed.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Out.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Come on say it anyway.
- 24:20Speaker 4: I have no idea what it is.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I have no idea. Do you like Law and Order?
- 24:23Speaker 1: But I don't remember their names or anything.
- 24:25Speaker 2: I just learned recently that what's her name? Olivia Benson?
- 24:29Speaker 2: Her name in real life is tough. Yeah, it's like
- 24:33Speaker 2: Hamishka or something. It's like hamishkas.
- 24:40Speaker 4: That's not right. But yeah, I don't know how to
- 24:42Speaker 4: say it either.

- 24:48Speaker 3: very good.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I love it.
- 24:49Speaker 3: I your mom? What's this great movie? Your mom?

- 25:11Speaker 1: me a guess. Oh, I don't know what it is.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm not working right. What's wrong with my butt? Oh?
- 25:18Speaker 4: Is it that guy? Which version of law and Order?
- 25:21Speaker 1: I don't know. There's two versions, criminal and ten? I
- 25:23Speaker 1: bet it is. What's that guy's name? I don't remember it.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Quick answer is Jerry Orbach. Jerry Orbach. Let me ask
- 25:29Speaker 1: you questions now, a question number one.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I'm a great boardop, aren't I. Everything's so seamless, I
- 25:37Speaker 2: tell you, all right.
- 25:38Speaker 1: All right, dude, here we go.
- 25:39Speaker 4: What construction project completed in nineteen fourteen killed over three

- 25:49Speaker 1: going to edit all this out. Screw you. I'm not editing.
- 25:52Speaker 4: What construction project completed in nineteen fourteen killed over thirty
- 25:55Speaker 4: thousand workers?
- 25:59Speaker 1: Construction project in nineteen fourteen that killed thirty thousand workers.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Thirty thousand workers it's a shitload of people.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I was going to say, like the Statue of Liberty,
- 26:11Speaker 2: but they didn't like build that. It was a gift, yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 2: the French, right, but somebody had to build it. But
- 26:17Speaker 2: they probably like built it in France. And then you
- 26:19Speaker 2: know like fed exited.
- 26:20Speaker 4: Over FedEx did you know what I mean?
- 26:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Express shipped over. Yeah. I think they had a
- 26:28Speaker 1: Federal Express back then too.
- 26:29Speaker 4: I forget when that was inventive. But anyway, I'll give
- 26:32Speaker 4: you a hint. South America. What construction project completed in
- 26:40Speaker 4: nineteen fourteen killed over thirty thousand workers?
- 26:44Speaker 1: What construction FLAFLA? The project man South America.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I can't even think of one construction project in South America.

- 26:56Speaker 2: I know it's like you know down there, like down
- 26:58Speaker 2: yeah South, Yeah, construction project in South America.

- 27:23Speaker 1: Thanks for bringing the room down. People dying in the
- 27:26Speaker 1: Panama Canal.
- 27:28Speaker 4: And look we still have it today.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Howard Lightning how lightning.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Yeah, see you learn something a very educational product. Hit
- 27:35Speaker 4: the button, question too porky pig on the pop? My
- 27:41Speaker 4: mouth is like so dry it.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Pick pick pick all right?
- 27:48Speaker 4: How many events are in a to cathalon?
- 27:53Speaker 3: Oh?
- 27:53Speaker 1: Man, Well, isn't to catal on one of those words.
- 27:58Speaker 2: It's like a Latin word where if you know what
- 28:00Speaker 2: you're doing, you can you'd like dissect the word and
- 28:03Speaker 2: then you can figure out what it means.
- 28:07Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Like die it means like
- 28:08Speaker 1: too ish, right.
- 28:10Speaker 4: You're onto something. You're onto something there, not too.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Though, iin'ts y dry, that's not right. No, no, uh
- 28:19Speaker 1: die to cathalon?
- 28:22Speaker 4: Yeah you were onto something with breaking up of the world.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah to caathlon? You do have
- 28:30Speaker 2: a lifeline. What I hear decathlon I think of like
- 28:35Speaker 2: scholastic to cathlon, which is like scholastic decathlon is all
- 28:40Speaker 2: those smart kids in school doing whatever they do.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I have no idea what that? Do you ever see
- 28:44Speaker 1: that stuff? Yeah? Just a bunch of shit written on
- 28:47Speaker 1: like the chalkboard. What is that? It looks like the
- 28:50Speaker 1: numbers and letters And.
- 28:51Speaker 4: I wasn't in that either. Now that's why we're doing
- 28:53Speaker 4: this podcast.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Smart kids club, I can't relate.
- 28:57Speaker 4: So anyway? How many events are in a decathlon to cathlon?
- 29:00Speaker 1: Maybe it is two? Then is it two?
- 29:03Speaker 3: I know he's wrong. This is I know he's wrong.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Right, Well that's not two? Four? Maybe duh duh? Maybe
- 29:13Speaker 1: du Alright, tell me the answer.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Take a guess?
- 29:17Speaker 5: Four?
- 29:18Speaker 1: No, thirteen, no, eight, no, ten? Ten?
- 29:22Speaker 3: No it is ten?
- 29:24Speaker 1: So I got it right? No no, no, no, no no no.
- 29:26Speaker 4: You don't get six guesses. So does that mean in
- 29:28Speaker 4: this school? I can't say that.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Does that mean in the scholastic to catalon that there's ten?
- 29:37Speaker 1: Ten questions? Is it ten questions? Maybe different things?
- 29:40Speaker 4: Or what's ten different subjects?
- 29:43Speaker 1: Is that what it is? Maybe it could be? Wow?
- 29:46Speaker 1: How many subjects do you remember? Man?
- 29:50Speaker 4: That's a that's quite a question. Took the air out
- 29:53Speaker 4: of you, all right? Next one question three? What butterfly
- 30:00Speaker 4: shaped gland in your neck controls metabolism?
- 30:06Speaker 1: I'm not reading again? What? What? What?
- 30:08Speaker 5: No?
- 30:08Speaker 1: Not reading it again? What but on your phone? I
- 30:11Speaker 1: looked at my gully, glanced at my phone, skill scholastic
- 30:14Speaker 1: glance here? What what? What? Huh? Are you gonna do?
- 30:19Speaker 1: The now? Just read the question? What what gland?
- 30:23Speaker 4: Butterfly shaped gland in your neck controls metabolism.
- 30:27Speaker 1: The only gland, the only gland I remember learning about
- 30:31Speaker 1: is the peture. That one, Yeah, that one that's in
- 30:35Speaker 1: your brain though it is. Yeah, are you sure about that? Yeah?
- 30:38Speaker 4: Okay, ship, really you hit puberty. It makes you turn
- 30:42Speaker 4: into a more mature person. You never hit puberty, so
- 30:45Speaker 4: I did yesterday. Look at my mustache. I'm throwing it out. Yeah,
- 30:49Speaker 4: I think I could pull it off.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Maybe I like it. I can't get it to go
- 30:53Speaker 1: on the sides though, that's the problem. It like won't
- 30:55Speaker 1: fill in just in this one area.
- 30:57Speaker 2: I'm telling you should be able to take a pill
- 30:59Speaker 2: and then wake up the next day with a full
- 31:01Speaker 2: on beer.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Somebody ought to create that. Maybe that's why I have one.
- 31:04Speaker 4: It's not the next day, but you know, a couple
- 31:06Speaker 4: of months, do they really? Yeah, they have all growth.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Yeah that's a thing. Yeah, Hymns Hymns can sponsor our
- 31:13Speaker 4: podcast for hymns.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Yeah for hymns. Yeah.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Dot com keep preaching. Hey man, they have the other
- 31:19Speaker 2: thing too. Yeah for your your your your issue.
- 31:23Speaker 1: My issue. Hey, listen, listen, I got a lot of issues.
- 31:25Speaker 1: If there's one issue I have or I don't have. Rather,
- 31:28Speaker 1: it is that one.
- 31:30Speaker 4: What butterfly shaped gland in your neck controls your metabolism,
