  corporate job. She shares how God's plan is

  better than we could ever imagine, but we need to walk in

  faith and trust in him and his ways, not ours.

  with us to share on this important message of purpose.

  You had written a book called Purpose Doesn't Pause.
• 1:57
  Finding Freedom from What's Holding You Back.

  And so before we get into that further and what you have to
• 2:05
  share about that, I would love for you to give us your favorite
• 2:10
  scripture verse and why? Perfect.
• 2:12
  So it's a random one. It's a backup 1/5 and most
• 2:16
  people are like what when I share this but listen to what it
• 2:20
  is. So it's look at the nations and
• 2:22
  watch and be utterly amazed for I'm going to do something in
• 2:25
  your days that you wouldn't believe even if you were told.
• 2:28
  And I think the context of this verse is so, so good.
• 2:32
  A backup was basically questioning God.
• 2:35
  He's like God, why aren't you showing up?
• 2:36
  Like what are you doing? And so the Lord responded to his
• 2:40
  questioning. And I'm.
• 2:41
  I'm guessing. His confusion with that verse
• 2:44
  and what God was referencing was Jesus coming?
• 2:48
  Because this is an Old Testament story.
• 2:51
  But y'all I have seen and tasted the goodness of this in my own
• 2:55
  life and I have noticed that, you know, God does more than I
• 3:00
  could ever imagine or believe and he wants to do the same for
• 3:05
  you. So in those hard moments, I
• 3:07
  always try to remember like. I may not get this right now,
• 3:11
  but he's gonna do abundantly more and he's gonna do things in
• 3:15
  my life that I wouldn't believe, you know, if I was told yeah,
• 3:19
  that's powerful and that's just living by faith.
• 3:23
  And we need those scripture verses to get us through the
• 3:28
  even F right when we can't see God when we can't.
• 3:31
  Where are you, Lord, you know, knowing that he's still working
• 3:35
  even though we can't see it at times and and we know we've all
• 3:40
  gone through seasons of that. And so I love your message so
• 3:44
  much. I've been following you on
• 3:46
  socials and you are so humble and adorable and you can just
• 3:53
  feel like it's tangible. Your passion behind this message
• 4:00
  that you wrote. And it really shows the
• 4:03
  anointing that God has put on your life to get this message
• 4:09
  out, to help these girls from feeling stuck, to finding their
• 4:14
  true purpose. And no matter what the
• 4:16
  circumstances are that we are just stay focused on Jesus and
• 4:24
  His word and know that our purpose never stops.
• 4:28
  So I would love for us to just dive into the definition of
• 4:34
  purpose because sometimes it can get so confusing we just throw
• 4:39
  these words out. A purpose calling destiny
• 4:43
  assignment. I mean it just you hear it all.
• 4:46
  So I would love for you to share your definition of purpose.
• 4:52
  Oh my goodness. So this has taken years and
• 4:54
  years of refinement. When I started writing this
• 4:58
  book, you know, God was doing something really wild in me.
• 5:01
  I had been climbing the corporate ladder.
• 5:03
  I had gotten really good at it. I had the American dream and I
• 5:07
  was so empty and. You know, I think purpose is who
• 5:12
  you are. It's not what you do.
• 5:14
  And I think the world we live in, a world, especially here in
• 5:18
  this American culture where it's like grind it out, don't rest,
• 5:21
  you'll fall behind. And I feel like God has really
• 5:23
  come alongside me and said hope. Your message to the world is
• 5:27
  that it is who they are and it that doesn't ever stop, even
• 5:31
  eternally. You know you have a spirit
• 5:33
  inside of you that has eternal life, or God wants you to have
• 5:36
  eternal life and that that doesn't stop.
• 5:39
  What you do does stop when you rest, and God created you for
• 5:43
  rest. But when you focus on who you
• 5:45
  are, that is unchanging because guess who defines who you are?
• 5:49
  That's God. And he is unchanging.
• 5:51
  He's the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
• 5:53
  And so I think when you shift your perspective and think, Oh
• 5:57
  my gosh, I'm stepping into my purpose because I have breath in
• 5:59
  my lungs, that's where things change rather than, Oh my gosh,
• 6:02
  am I living purposely? Am I doing what God called me to
• 6:05
  do, like he gave you breath? So yes.
• 6:08
  And you've got to. You've got to show up and quit
• 6:09
  focusing on. What you're doing, but who you
• 6:13
  are and just carrying that into whatever room and whatever seat
• 6:17
  he's placed you in. Oh, totally.
• 6:19
  And I think that's key that's you just nailed it.
• 6:22
  When we confused with our doing as our purpose, I mean that's
• 6:27
  where the confusion lies. You know, we're like crossing
• 6:30
  out. You know, we're doing and
• 6:32
  putting in purpose and that's not what it should be like you
• 6:36
  said it's it's who we are, not what we do.
• 6:39
  And so let's have you Share your story when you felt like your
• 6:44
  purpose was on pause. And you know, we all know when
• 6:48
  people write books and they have messages.
• 6:50
  There was a time where the innocent the valley in the
• 6:55
  wilderness. And this is what they were
• 7:00
  taught by God. 100% So Jamie, I truly feel like, you know, when
• 7:06
  you've got a message that's, you know, really God's wanting out
• 7:09
  there and is timely, you're going to be under a lot of
• 7:11
  spiritual attacks. So when I started writing this
• 7:13
  book, I, you know, like what I'm saying about the purpose thing,
• 7:18
  My career was honestly what was attacked most.
• 7:21
  And I know for some it's relationship it's wherever you.
• 7:24
  Find purpose in what you're doing, that I feel like, you
• 7:27
  know, the enemy will start attacking there because he knows
• 7:30
  that's where you're showing up. That's what's giving you
• 7:33
  momentum. That's what's exciting.
• 7:34
  And so I have been climbing, climbing, climbing the corporate
• 7:38
  ladder. I was working at a large
• 7:39
  retailer and you know, I'd had a lot of promises with my career,
• 7:43
  like hope you're going to be an executive, you're going to make
• 7:45
  millions. All these things have been
• 7:47
  promised to me. And all of a sudden there was an
• 7:50
  organizational change, so a restructure.
• 7:54
  Structure. I suddenly had a new leader.
• 7:56
  And this leader suddenly is like, why were you hired for
• 7:59
  this role? Like because I was really young
• 8:02
  compared to most people at my level.
• 8:03
  He's like, I don't understand how to use you.
• 8:06
  You're in this department, literally makes no sense.
• 8:08
  Your skill set is not for this role.
• 8:11
  I don't even know what to do with you.
• 8:12
  And for the first time in my career there was, there was so
• 8:14
  much doubt spoken over me. And so I started questioning my
• 8:18
  purpose and thinking, Oh my gosh, like.
• 8:21
  Is is this it? Like, is like, Oh my like,
• 8:23
  within a matter of seconds this person has suddenly defined that
• 8:27
  you know how I'm stepping into my purpose.
• 8:29
  And so one day I'll never forget God can use, you know, the
• 8:33
  unconventional to do unconventional things.
• 8:35
  So I hopped on my peloton. And I remember just sitting
• 8:39
  there staring at the instructor and my husband literally walked
• 8:43
  in the room and gosh, I love my husband.
• 8:46
  He is very just matter of fact. I mean, the other day he's like
• 8:48
  hope you're being insecure. Stop.
• 8:50
  You know, he's just, I need him. And so he, he walks into the
• 8:53
  room and he's like, hope you have got to move your legs and
• 8:57
  I'm cracked up. He cracked up, and then he left
• 9:00
  the room. And I'm sitting there, Jamie,
• 9:02
  and I'm like. Oh my gosh, This is how I'm
• 9:05
  living my life. Like, I am literally a
• 9:08
  bystander. Yeah.
• 9:09
  Like, I'm just living on pause. Like I'm not showing up.
• 9:12
  I'm letting everything pass by me, and I'm waiting for how I
• 9:15
  want life to look for me to live.
• 9:18
  And that's not like, there's more to life than this.
• 9:21
  And so. I ended up getting the book deal
• 9:23
  shortly after I accepted a new role within the company that was
• 9:28
  supposed to be extremely promising.
• 9:30
  You know, I wasn't going to be stuck anymore.
• 9:32
  I had found out the same week that I was pregnant.
• 9:34
  I'm like, Oh my gosh, motherhood career.
• 9:37
  Like, my purpose is here and I'm writing this book and literally
• 9:42
  I cannot even make up the spiritual warfare that I went
• 9:45
  through. Long story short, my career.
• 9:49
  I was more stuck than I was before in the last role and Fast
• 9:54
  forward. I'm on maternity leave six weeks
• 9:57
  postpartum. I was diagnosed with postpartum
• 10:00
  depression and I find out that that I didn't get this promotion
• 10:04
  that that role had promised and. I had no way holding my baby
• 10:09
  girl, Remy Claire, no way to fight for the career that I'd
• 10:12
  given everything to. And I mean, this is recent.
• 10:14
  This is like May of this year and I'm had just finished, you
• 10:17
  know, the book. So I'm writing this whole book
• 10:19
  feeling even more confused and stuck.
• 10:21
  And I'm like, Oh my gosh, I just wrote that my purpose doesn't
• 10:24
  pause, but my purpose feels like it's paused.
• 10:27
  And so Jamie, I cried out to God, I'm like, man, you know, I
• 10:31
  don't understand. I've been at this company five
• 10:33
  years. I've given my whole six year
• 10:35
  post grad to to the corporate world.
• 10:37
  Like, this was supposed to be it.
• 10:39
  What are you doing? And so few weeks passed.
• 10:42
  I called my husband Will again and I'm like, hey babe, I'm
• 10:46
  going to quit when my two week maternity leave is like up.
• 10:49
  And I had two weeks, like when my two week mark to give my, you
• 10:53
  know, notice. And I was like, I don't know
• 10:55
  what God's calling me to, but I know it's not back there.
• 10:57
  Like door after door has closed. I've gone through three years of
• 11:00
  feeling stuck and confused. I've tried to make it my mission
• 11:03
  field, but I think my mission field is elsewhere.
• 11:05
  Like the time is now. And he's like, I trust you.
• 11:08
  You've always landed on your feet.
• 11:09
  I don't know what this is going to be.
• 11:10
  We may be refinancing our house. Who knows?
• 11:13
  And so I called out to God. I'm like God.
• 11:14
  You gave me this desire to work. You've also made me a mom like
• 11:18
  show up. Like you put me where I am.
• 11:21
  Just like you sent Samuel to find David.
• 11:23
  And David was out tending the sheep right when he was called
• 11:27
  and anointed to be the king of Israel.
• 11:28
  Like me being in Bentonville, AR, like you know where to find
• 11:32
  me. You place me here.
• 11:33
  You've given me all these things.
• 11:35
  Help me. No joke.
• 11:37
  Check my e-mail. Jamie, a guy that I connected
• 11:40
  with three years prior from my dream company, which is You
• 11:43
  Version the Bible app, reached out and is coming to Rogers AR,
• 11:48
  which is right next to Bentonville and wants to meet at
• 11:50
  my favorite coffee shop. And I'm like, oh, I'm going to
• 11:54
  give me chills telling you this. I'm like.
• 11:57
  Oh my gosh, God, are you calling me to leave, you know, a
• 11:59
  significant salary Because obviously, you know, ministry
• 12:02
  like doesn't pay, you know, like corporate does.
• 12:05
  And I didn't know what was next. And just conversation after
• 12:10
  conversation, like hurdle, they were like, you know, you're
• 12:13
  talking about remote like because they're based out of
• 12:15
  Oklahoma City. What does that look like?
• 12:16
  Hurdle after hurdle? God paved the way.
• 12:20
  So that is when I felt like my purpose was on pause and now
• 12:23
  Jamie be on the other side, taking a significant pay cut,
• 12:25
  stepping into this ministry role.
• 12:28
  It is literally everything I did at this large corporation in a
• 12:32
  single role where the finance experience where the guy was
• 12:34
  questioning me. I need that to do this role.
• 12:37
  The the product experience where I was rolling out things
• 12:40
  globally for this company in India and China and traveling, I
• 12:43
  need that for this role, leading the teams that created purchase
• 12:48
  orders at this last company. Like I needed all that knowledge
• 12:50
  to step into this role and Oh my gosh, like, I'm so passionate
• 12:56
  because I don't want anyone else to go through those three years.
• 13:00
  Of living in the chains that Jesus died for.
• 13:02
  And so that is why I'm here today and why I'm literally
• 13:04
  doing crazy stuff to like try to get a hold of other women and be
• 13:09
  like there's more to life than this.
• 13:10
  And I know you're asking it, cuz I ask it.
• 13:12
  And there is the answer is yes. You know it, but step into it.
• 13:16
  Yeah. You know, and we learn through
• 13:18
  testimony. Like we aren't going to know
• 13:20
  what God has done in your life if you don't share it.
• 13:24
  Right. So you need to share it.
• 13:26
  And a couple of things. I love how you are specific with
• 13:31
  the Lord in your prayer. God show me.
• 13:34
  Yeah, like you've not read yourself today, right?
• 13:38
  And I love how God, like, lately he's been so laying it on my
• 13:42
  heartbeat. Specific with your prayers, you
• 13:45
  know, encourage other women to be specific.
• 13:48
  With your prayers, you ask. Not you don't.
• 13:50
  You don't get it right. You have to ask and be specific
• 13:54
  because God wants to show up. He's not just hiding in the
• 13:58
  corner waiting, you know, to to reveal himself.
• 14:01
  He wants to show up and he wants to be glorified through it.
• 14:05
  So when we're specific in that area, it's like an aha moment of
• 14:11
  going, oh, yes, God, that is totally you.
• 14:14
  That wasn't just coincidence. But there's no way that the guy,
• 14:18
  yeah, emailed you and you know, so it shows you that you, you
• 14:23
  don't have God working on your behalf.
• 14:27
  He hears you. And I love the preparations.
• 14:31
  Like this is just a testament to God doesn't waste anything.
• 14:36
  He uses it all. And all of the preparations, the
• 14:40
  training that you just listed off like in the midst of doing
• 14:45
  that, you had no idea it was going to be used later on in
• 14:49
  life. And another job and another
• 14:52
  company, you know and the. Bible app.
• 14:56
  Yeah, totally a Bible app. And I just love how we need to
• 15:02
  hear these stories. I mean, This is why I do what I
• 15:05
  do because this encourages this. It increases our faith to know,
• 15:11
  like if you are doing something today, just know that that is
• 15:15
  training ground for your tomorrow.
• 15:18
  So I love your whole story. It's so great and so many people
• 15:24
  can feel like they're stuck, like how you were.
• 15:27
  And mentioning that postpartum depression, You know, I had it
• 15:31
  after my third one. Just I think the combination is
• 15:36
  just feeling completely overwhelmed.
• 15:38
  Everything, you know, was new. I have three kids under the age
• 15:42
  of five. I felt completely outnumbered
• 15:45
  their lack of sleep. You.
• 15:47
  Know that's what got me. The lack of, Oh my gosh, I think
• 15:51
  that's like the main cause and to your hormones fluctuating and
• 15:55
  trying to adjust itself. I mean, it's just one big
• 15:59
  combination. And that was the time where, and
• 16:03
  I'm sure you can testify to this, where you felt the Lord
• 16:07
  even more during those times because, I mean, I was crying
• 16:11
  out to him. I mean, I was just, you know,
• 16:14
  Lord helped me and he showed up. So, OK, let's talk about people
• 16:21
  feeling girls feeling stuck, you know, because they're getting
• 16:24
  caught up with what they see. I mean, I think that's so hard
• 16:28
  because you know, we see with our natural eyes our
• 16:31
  circumstances like the rejection, you know, oh, I
• 16:36
  thought life was going to go this way.
• 16:39
  You get disappointed. So we can often feel what you
• 16:43
  described forgotten, vulnerable, unfairly treated.
• 16:48
  Do we miss out on these opportunities when we are
• 16:51
  allowing those emotions to reside in us?
• 16:55
  So I think that the Lord made us to have emotions and it's normal
• 16:59
  to fill them. But I think when you find
• 17:02
  yourself here, like I found myself here many times, I mean,
• 17:04
  I was not treated fairly at my last company and that's hard.
• 17:09
  I mean, it's hard. And I think when you find
• 17:11
  yourself here, you have to really manage your expectations.
• 17:14
  And I I talk a little bit about this in the book, but there's
• 17:18
  actually a research that shows if you have one expectation.
• 17:22
  And it can be something as simple as a traffic light
• 17:24
  turning green and it turning red on you.
• 17:26
  I mean you have this dopamine hits that when your expectation
• 17:30
  is met like it makes you happy and you keep going.
• 17:32
  But if it doesn't even something as simple as a traffic light
• 17:35
  turning red on you and you get frustrated, you experience the
• 17:38
  reverse. And so I think when you find
• 17:40
  yourself here, you just really have to manage your expectations
• 17:43
  and one thing. So obviously I've come into you
• 17:47
  version with. The baggage and some of the old
• 17:50
  habits that I had in my last career, you know, I'd gotten
• 17:52
  good at playing the corporate game.
• 17:54
  Basically. I I like to laugh like it was
• 17:56
  like running for mayor, you know, And I I come into this
• 18:00
  role and my my boss, I've actually switched bosses since.
• 18:04
  But you know, everything's changed, no matter if you're
• 18:07
  corporate, like ministry, whatever.
• 18:09
  But he has said to me over and over again he's a mentor now.
• 18:12
  He said Hope you need to hold everything loosely.
• 18:16
  Like, don't hold on so tight. And I think Jamie, it's like
• 18:21
  what you're saying. You know when you're treated
• 18:22
  unfairly and you expected to be treated another way or when the
• 18:25
  dreams that you have for yourself, like maybe you're
• 18:26
  walking through infertility. Like you expected to have a
• 18:29
  family of five by now and you're still can't get pregnant.
• 18:32
  Or maybe you thought you'd be married and like you're just
• 18:35
  going through dude after dude and none of them are adding up.
• 18:38
  It's like just manage the expectation of like, Lord, I'm
• 18:41
  holding this loosely, you know, my desire.
• 18:44
  In fact, you put this desire in my heart.
• 18:46
  Heart. Like, just like you're saying
• 18:49
  show up, show me, I'm handing this to you.
• 18:52
  Obviously it's still in my heart.
• 18:54
  I'm holding it, but I'm going to hold it with open hands and
• 18:57
  loosely and you do it. Only you can do with this
• 18:59
  desire. And I think when you do that,
• 19:02
  one, the prayer can transform you.
• 19:05
  And two, when he transforms your heart, I think your your
• 19:09
  circumstances may not change, but your perspective shifts.
• 19:12
  And that's powerful. Yes, that's so good.
• 19:16
  And you know, I noticed too, like if I have expectations with
• 19:20
  others like people because I just, I treat people the way I'd
• 19:23
  like to be treated, but not everybody performs that way.
• 19:28
  And so I've been, you know, given that advice to you.
• 19:32
  When it comes to people, just hold on to it loosely.
• 19:35
  You know, not everybody backs up, but they say they're going
• 19:39
  to do and and do it. So let's talk about the pressure
• 19:43
  that we put on ourselves to figure out who we are in life.
• 19:48
  Why do you think it's? There's just so much of that
• 19:51
  going on today. I think there's really two
• 19:54
  things. And my mom actually said this to
• 19:56
  me one day when I was post crowd.
• 19:58
  I was having a really hard time and she was like hope.
• 20:00
  Utensil with yourself. You're we're literally in a
• 20:02
  world where from the moment you're born, it's like, OK, you
• 20:05
  do kindergarten, first grade, 2nd grade.
• 20:06
  You know, like, there is a path. And when you graduate college,
• 20:09
  it's the first time that you're like, whoa, do I get married?
• 20:13
  Do I go to grad school? Do I start this job?
• 20:15
  And it all of a sudden it's like, you have to figure
• 20:18
  everything out. And then the second component is
• 20:21
  social media. You look online.
• 20:23
  No one's posting the moments where they're crying on their
• 20:25
  bathroom floor or calling their parents or having a panic
• 20:28
  attack. Like those aren't captured.
• 20:31
  And so you look and you're like, man, everyone else is figuring
• 20:34
  this out or Oh my gosh, God's doing it for them.
• 20:37
  Why is he not doing it for me? And I I think that's where the
• 20:40
  pressure comes in. But I I'm trying to remind
• 20:44
  myself like, well, first of all nothing in my life has ever gone
• 20:47
  exactly how I planned. Like God has always done
• 20:51
  something even better, even with the moments, like you're saying
• 20:54
  like a setback He is always using to set us up.
• 20:57
  And you have to remember like you can take the pressure off
• 21:01
  because he literally says that his burden or his yoke is light
• 21:05
  and easy and to give your burdens to him.
• 21:07
  And so I have found when it feels really heavy and there
• 21:10
  feels like a lot of pressure, I might be striving.
• 21:13
  And I'm not stewarding like I'm focused too far on the outcome
• 21:17
  that I'm wanting or the stewarding exactly what God has
• 21:20
  given me today. Because it does say the God will
• 21:23
  give us everything we need. And if you don't have something
• 21:25
  today, you may need it tomorrow. You you don't need it today.
• 21:28
  And I feel like that is what I've, you know, really learned,
• 21:31
  even with this book. It's like, man, I'm so
• 21:33
  passionate about it and I really believe that it's going to
• 21:37
  explode, not for my glory but for his.
• 21:39
  And it hasn't full yet. I'm starting to see some
• 21:41
  momentum, but I have to remember today, the time is now and I'm
• 21:45
  going to steward and show up, but God is going to do what only
• 21:49
  he can do, and all I can do is what I can do and trust him with
• 21:53
  the rest. And I think there's something
• 21:56
  like there's some pressure that comes off where it's not all on
• 21:58
  you to figure out. And it's not all like, yes, God
• 22:01
  made Jesus a Carpenter. And I know he, like, really
• 22:05
  values hard work. And we are called to work hard
• 22:08
  and whatever we're doing, but not to the point that we're
• 22:11
  burnt out, not to the point that the pressure's so heavy that
• 22:14
  we're, you know, and just reckon paralyzed, like that is not what
• 22:17
  he intended. And so yeah, I hope that helps.

  Oh, totally. I mean, you're spot on and I
• 22:24
  feel like if. I'm overwhelmed.
• 22:26
  I'm putting too much on myself 100%.
• 22:30
  Forgetting about God. Like I'm just like, oh, I, I, I,
• 22:32
  I have to do this. How am I gonna do this?
• 22:36
  And it's like, oh, yeah, like it's not all on me.
• 22:40
  I have a God that I serve that can, you know, make a highway
• 22:44
  through the Red Sea. I mean, he moves mountains, you
• 22:47
  know, like I can rely on the Lord.
• 22:52
  To give me what I need and I take that equation out when I
• 22:59
  and that's evidence that I'm putting too much on myself.

  OK, let's talk about how believing about ourselves

  affects our daily actions and habits.

  I think this is so crucial. I'm all about, you know,

  obviously she speaks life, the power of our words, how it

  permeates the atmosphere. I mean it, it really shifts and
• 23:25
  it manifests what you're believing in faith.
• 23:28
  So how does that all correlate? Why do you share in your book
• 23:33
  with that? So I truly believe, and I talked
• 23:37
  about this in my book, I was going for this promotion that I
• 23:40
  I didn't get right. And when I was talking to a
• 23:44
  mentor who was my executive sponsor at this company, I was
• 23:47
  asking her how should I go into this interview?
• 23:49
  You know, it's a promotion. It was a really big step within
• 23:51
  the company. And she said something that I
• 23:53
  think parlays into our everyday life and especially our faith
• 23:57
  journey. And she said, hope you need to
• 23:58
  go into that interview. And before you go into the
• 24:00
  interview, I want you to write down who you are.
• 24:03
  Like what are you? If interviewers take one thing
• 24:06
  away, who are you? And then I want you to answer
• 24:09
  every question with that lens, like not what you think they
• 24:12
  want you to say, not what you think they want you to say
• 24:15
  you've done, but who you are. And so I wrote about this in my
• 24:19
  book. And I think when you something
• 24:22
  changes, when you know who you are.
• 24:24
  And so I'm going to tell you who you are.
• 24:25
  If you don't know, you are God's child.
• 24:27
  He chose you. He appointed you.
• 24:30
  He has set you apart, and he has a purpose and a plan for your
• 24:34
  life. That's who you are at the end of
• 24:35
  the day. And so when you walk into
• 24:37
  whatever, see, I don't care if you're a barista at Starbucks,
• 24:40
  you walk in as the child of God and you answer every question,
• 24:44
  every interaction with that lens, something's going to
• 24:47
  change. You're going to see God suddenly
• 24:50
  his handprints, his fingerprints on everything.
• 24:53
  And the same if you're in the corporate world.
• 24:55
  God. I don't know why you put me
• 24:56
  here, but I know you. I'm your child.
• 24:57
  I know you've set me apart. I'm going to respond differently
• 25:01
  when these people are treating me unfairly, or when this
• 25:03
  person's talking behind my back, or when this person misconstrues
• 25:07
  or misunderstands the decision that I made.
• 25:10
  Or, you know, I'm a mom. I am going to come in as a child
• 25:13
  of God. And my greatest mission is to
• 25:16
  make my child realize that she is a child of God, God.
• 25:20
  And that's how I'm just as much his child as she is.
• 25:22
  So, like, when you start coming in with this lens and not
• 25:26
  treating it like an interview, but just your focus, you're so
• 25:29
  focused on that you don't care if you answered like everyone
• 25:33
  around you wants you to answer or you don't care if you did
• 25:36
  what everyone around you think you need to do.
• 25:37
  Like, I don't care if people think you're delusional or
• 25:40
  crazy. Like that's at the end of the
• 25:42
  day they're gonna be like, she was so crazy about her faith
• 25:44
  that she believed God would do that.
• 25:46
  Like, it's not really the worst thing, you know?
• 25:48
  And so I I think, I think that's what you have to do.
• 25:51
  You got to change. Like I'm not, you know, I was.
• 25:53
  I joke with people. I was living my life like I was
• 25:56
  going to go into heaven and they were going to announce you got
• 25:58
  my title at my corporate office. And now I'm living my life like
• 26:02
  I'm going to go in and he's going to say good and faithful
• 26:04
  servant like you were my child. I chose you hope.
• 26:08
  And he, he wants to do the same for you like it is who you are.
• 26:11
  And when you live like that, you suddenly view the seat where you
• 26:14
  are totally different. I love it because you're
• 26:17
  basically affirming your identity. 100 Yeah.

  You are in Christ and reminding yourself of your identity.
• 26:26
  And wow, like, that's where the confidence comes from.

  That's where true confidence comes from, is our identity in
• 26:34
  Christ. That's so great.

  OK, I want to dive into the God dream.

  Oh, yes. Yeah, because we need to let our
• 26:44
  friend here know and share this fantastic news.

  I don't even believe it. So y'all are.

  Doing this movement, yes. The purpose doesn't pause

  movement. Let me tell you about it.

  So Tuesday night, two days ago, for you guys that are listening,

  I have a had a prayer. I lead a group of women who are
• 27:09
  writing books and I did a devotional.
• 27:11
  And after my friend Cece, who's in the book talking about when
• 27:15
  your dreams don't look like you pictured, she prayed this prayer
• 27:18
  for me. And she's like, Lord, like, give
• 27:20
  hope. God sighs, visions, Bless this
• 27:23
  message. Wake her up in the middle of the
• 27:25
  night and the next morning on Wednesday morning, which is kind
• 27:31
  of crazy. Three years ago, I prayed like,
• 27:32
  Lord, if you want me to be a writer, I want to be like Lisa
• 27:35
  Turkish and help other women get their message out.
• 27:38
  Well, Wednesday morning, right. This prayer was parade when I
• 27:41
  was doing what, you know, I prayed 2-3 years ago.
• 27:44
  I woke up on Wednesday morning. Then Lisa had shared my my
• 27:47
  message about my book. It was like.
• 27:49
  Again, you were specific with your prayer.
• 27:52
  I was very specific. Shout out to Lisa.
• 27:54
  I love you. And anyways, guys, last night,
• 27:59
  my daughter Remy, she had been sleeping through the night and
• 28:02
  all of a sudden she woke up at 4:00 AM And so I'm like, first I
• 28:05
  was kind of annoyed, right? I was like, Dang, I was really
• 28:07
  enjoying these nights of sleep. But then I'm like, wait, Cece
• 28:10
  prayed this crazy prayer. Maybe God wants to talk to me.
• 28:13
  So I get a bottle for Remy. I'm rocking her and I'm just
• 28:16
  like, Lord, talk to me. What's up?
• 28:18
  It's 4:00 AM I'm wide awake. Share with me what you want me
• 28:22
  to do. And prompted me to just be super
• 28:24
  transparent. You know, I've been reading a
• 28:26
  lot about Second Corinthians tonight and it talks about
• 28:29
  boast, about your weakness, it's like.
• 28:31
  And so I felt prompted to reach out to like Christine Kane, Lisa
• 28:36
  again, the people behind Brett, my friend Brittany, and cast
• 28:41
  behind her true worth. Like, I reached out to these
• 28:43
  correct. Like amazing women that you
• 28:45
  know, people be like, hope you're an underdog.
• 28:46
  What are you thinking? And I reached out and invited
• 28:48
  them in, like, to this movement. I was like, I'm going to boast
• 28:51
  about my weakness. I can't reach the women that you
• 28:53
  can reach. And I truly believe that the
• 28:55
  enemy is winning right now with women and he's stopping them
• 28:58
  from showing up. He's confusing them to the point
• 29:00
  that they are paralyzed because literally, Satan knows what
• 29:04
  plans and purpose God has for your life.

  And he can, if he can confuse you, he can stop you because you
• 29:09
  won't show up. And I'm like, the time is now.

  We've got to get this message out.

  Will you please join? So I sent all this from 4:00 to
• 29:16
  6:00 AM. I'm like all my hands and knees
• 29:17
  praying I'm reading in my journal or reading in my Bible,

  journaling all the things. And at 6:00 AM I'm like, I'm
• 29:22
  going to go back to sleep, like when he's still sleeping, go
• 29:25
  back to sleep. And I have this wild dream.

  Y'all. So this girl named Abby, I met
• 29:29
  her at City Robertson Huff's LO conference 3 weeks ago.
• 29:33
  She has been messaging me back and forth about like really
• 29:36
  fills this urge. Stream my book and I'm like,
• 29:37
  yes, I'll ship you a book for free like give me your address.
• 29:40
  And so anyways, this dream is with her.
• 29:43
  She read this specific chapter, Chapter 7 on comparison and she
• 29:48
  texted me and was like, hope this chapter spoke to me.
• 29:50
  I have started to go fund me because there this is a
• 29:53
  movement. We have got to get people to
• 29:55
  give money so that we can give out this book for free.
• 29:57
  Like I believe more women than just the women who can afford to
• 30:00
  purchase this book need this message.

  Like, this is for not just me, but millions of women.

  And I woke. I was sobbing in the dream.

  I was like, so touched. I was like, Oh my gosh, what the
• 30:10
  heck? So I I Instagram messaged my
• 30:12
  friend Abby. Yo, I don't even have her
• 30:13
  number. Like, this is how crazy this
• 30:15
  dream is. And she literally messaged me
• 30:17
  back, Jamie, and was like, I just got out of my quiet time
• 30:20
  and prayed that God would bring me people that I'm supposed to
• 30:23
  be pulled along with and to rally around and to champion.
• 30:26
  And, like, I don't find this a coincidence.

  So then I'm like, okay, Abby before like we get into this re
• 30:32
  chapter seven. Let me know what you think.

  And she literally texts me back, Jamie.
• 30:35
  And it's like comparison is the one thing that has caused me the
• 30:37
  most confusion like 100% we're starting to go fund me.
• 30:41
  So now there's a go. Fund me up.

  We the numbers, 120,000 calls, crazy calls, delusional.

  Our God's bigger than money. His currencies love, so we're
• 30:51
  going for it. In every two days I'm going to
• 30:55
  calculate how many books we can buy and I'm going to post them

  And I think that is just an amazing movement that God had

  put on your heart to bless others to be able to read this

  This book is going to do or what's already doing with the

  girls is it's encouraging them to live out their purpose.

  Because when we do that, we're growing God's Kingdom.

  We're we're, we're, you know, increasing, spreading the

  gospel, sharing about the Lord, walking in the the plan that God

  has in our life. And we're not.

  I mean, the enemy wants nothing more for us to just stay stuck

  isolated. Not move, be on that peloton
• 32:31
  without moving your legs. Yeah, I mean, right, Throwing
• 32:35
  up, but not really showing up. I mean, you guys know, you guys
• 32:39
  know, right? Right here, but I'm not here.

  Right. Yes.
• 32:43
  Completely empty inside and have no drive, no fire, no passion.
• 32:49
  And what this book does is it gives us girls that fire, you
• 32:54
  know, spark it up again and to get it going.

  Stocking it so that we can fan the flames like like we all set

  fan the flames and and share the fire of Jesus to other people.

  And so I love what you're doing. It's so great and I know God is
• 33:16
  the God that multiplies. He increases and he's gonna take

  this message far and wide and. You have such a big heart of
• 33:26
  humility. I've never met someone with such
• 33:29
  a humbleness. And it just exudes and it it's
• 33:35
  transparent with you. And I know other people see it
• 33:39
  too. There's an anointing and a gift
• 33:41
  on your life. And God's gonna bless that.

  So I would love for us to just come to a close with a take

  reiterate, like the chains that are holding you back, the thing

  that is stopping you from stepping into your purpose,

  expected, feeling unloved or unworthy, or the opinions of

  others, Like those chains that are keeping you bound are chains
• 34:17
  that God literally sent his son and has already died for.

  And I don't know about you, but I am so sick of the enemy

  playing these games on women and like, just let this be the
• 34:29
  moment where you're like, I'm done too hope, like I'm fed up
• 34:32
  with it. Like, you don't have to read my
• 34:34
  book. Like we've told you enough of
• 34:36
  this where you can make that decision today and just make
• 34:39
  that decision that he's not playing those games.
• 34:41
  And then also when you feel like you're in a good spot, take that
• 34:45
  a step further and like, let God multiply.

  Like ask him to tell you who, who he's putting on your heart.
• 34:52
  Because there's someone in your life that is also stuck and
• 34:55
  bound and needs to be set free. And Jesus can set them free.

  And so your next step is to show, decide that you're going
• 35:03
  to show up and get unstuck. And that's probably a lot of
• 35:06
  tears and that's probably running to God.

  And that's probably even weeks of maybe not feeling like he's
• 35:11
  hearing you but you're not going to give up because he's giving
• 35:14
  you grit. You're still listening to this,

  like there's something sparking in you.

  And so I'm just so excited and I would loved it.
