- 3:45Speaker 1: fucking Gangbusters.
- 3:46Speaker 3: That's all right, you guys, hold it down, see you
- 3:48Speaker 3: like Gangbusters. It's funny to be called Frank because I've
- 3:52Speaker 3: started doing this weird thing where when I order a
- 3:54Speaker 3: salad for lunch, they ask for my.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Name, yeah, and I say Frank, yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Because for some reason, I feel that they'll judge me
- 4:04Speaker 3: less if I call myself Frank as opposed to France.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Maybe they'll give me more and more generous helping of chicken.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Probably Frank needs more chicken than France.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Yes, yes, Francis needs bib lettuce.
- 4:19Speaker 5: And it'd be one thing if you know.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I do it at bagel places too, But if that
- 4:23Speaker 3: were the only place where I did it, right where
- 4:25Speaker 3: I'm eating, you know, more blue collary food or something
- 4:28Speaker 3: like that, I name myself Frank so that the bagel
- 4:31Speaker 3: makers or the whatever, the guy making my omelet doesn't,
- 4:35Speaker 3: you know, had a diner doesn't want to judge me
- 4:37Speaker 3: for being named Francis. But I do it at salad
- 4:39Speaker 3: places where they're not going to be mad at me
- 4:41Speaker 3: for being named Francis.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I might, No, they might. Well, you see the salad.
- 4:45Speaker 1: The people who work at salad places in this neighborhood
- 4:48Speaker 1: are hardened.
- 4:49Speaker 3: They are true. They keep their hair nets on throughout
- 4:54Speaker 3: the day, even when they leave work.
- 4:56Speaker 1: If you went to a pizza place, Frankie.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Yep, yeah, I would Italian afi it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I don't know what the proper circumstance for you to
- 5:06Speaker 1: throw a Frian out would be, though.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Oh that would be average book, gender neutral hair salon.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Maybe friend Fran Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Marvis, yeah, really yeah, I think they would like that.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Well, speaking of Hey, I'm.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Fran, just looking to check out a new just looking
- 5:29Speaker 5: to pick up a new rod in your recommendations, And
- 5:32Speaker 5: then they would tell you the most expensive rod they have.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Okay, well I'm not in need of any of that,
- 5:37Speaker 3: and I have a big surprise.
- 5:40Speaker 5: Okay, four today, big surprise.
- 5:42Speaker 3: What you ready for this? Okay? This is a little
- 5:46Speaker 3: earlier in the episode, and I wanted to do this.
- 5:49Speaker 1: What the fuck? But God, hop over to the YouTube
- 5:53Speaker 1: right now. You have to see this.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Something big is happening here.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Gally unpackaging four feet of two right now.
- 6:00Speaker 5: A big tube.
- 6:01Speaker 3: It's a lot of tube.
- 6:02Speaker 1: That might be a bazuka.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Something big is happening. I've wanted to do this for
- 6:08Speaker 3: a long long time.
- 6:12Speaker 1: What the hell? Okay, bubble wrap is out?
- 6:16Speaker 3: Oh baby?
- 6:18Speaker 9: Is that a Katana come to Papa? Okay, So put
- 6:25Speaker 9: in the cast and podcast more like a road cast.
- 6:29Speaker 3: All right, I'm just gonna I'm just gonna gently take
- 6:33Speaker 3: the pieces out here. You guys know what's happening. Oh
- 6:37Speaker 3: my God.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Explain what I'm seeing there? All right?
- 6:40Speaker 5: Well, it's a fly rod of some sort.
- 6:42Speaker 3: I don't know what kind of This is a nine
- 6:44Speaker 3: foot five weight fly rod, perfect for nymphs, trout flies, anything, really,
- 6:53Speaker 3: it's pretty universal. The cork is sourced from Portugal, hand.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Rolled Portuguese Annual cork.
- 7:00Speaker 3: And it comes from a master artisan fly rod maker
- 7:04Speaker 3: named Patron Rods. Interesting p E t R O n E.
- 7:09Speaker 3: It's got ron right in the name Rods. Let me
- 7:12Speaker 3: make sure I'm getting all of this right. Okay, patron Rods.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Hold on, hold on, I want to make sure I
- 7:21Speaker 3: have this right.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Can I touch the ye?
- 7:23Speaker 3: You can touch it. You can touch it. Nine five
- 7:28Speaker 3: weight fly rod perfect for trout fishing or any freshwater fishing,
- 7:32Speaker 3: nymph dry fly streamers. It'll do it all. The grip
- 7:37Speaker 3: is made with hand turned floor grade cork from Portugal.
- 7:41Speaker 3: The real seat is inlaid with becoat wood. Guides are
- 7:45Speaker 3: all titanium. The decorative patterns you see are all hand
- 7:49Speaker 3: laid threads, and the company's Patron Rods based out of
- 7:55Speaker 3: Monmouth County, New Jersey. Patron Rods on Instagram. Many many
- 8:01Speaker 3: river baths will be caught with this rod.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Congratulations.
- 8:05Speaker 3: This is a big step forward for me and my
- 8:08Speaker 3: newfound hobby of fly fishing. I am very excited about
- 8:16Speaker 3: the rivers and streams and lakes and all the bodies
- 8:20Speaker 3: of water that I will spend time.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Oh no, I'm good.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Yeah, So this is you know, this is a big
- 8:29Speaker 3: step forward for me. I mean I've been getting into
- 8:31Speaker 3: fly fishing.
- 8:32Speaker 5: I thought you were about to pull out a bamboo
- 8:33Speaker 5: rod and I was going to be furious. No, no,
- 8:36Speaker 5: this is a this is perfect, this is awesome.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So yeah, so that's the MSRP on this rod.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I don't actually know the answer to that. I mean
- 8:45Speaker 3: he gave it to me, which I was really grateful for.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I don't see the the real is there a.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Real I don't think he gave you a real brother,
- 8:56Speaker 5: No real, unreal.
- 9:00Speaker 3: No, it's just pure hand hadline.
- 9:07Speaker 5: I just meant that most rods don't come with a reel.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Oh no, right, yeah, yeah, so that that'll that'll come next.
- 9:14Speaker 5: I got extras.
- 9:16Speaker 3: I kind of like to go my own way.
- 9:18Speaker 5: You should, yeah, past.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Your instincts on this. Look how nice this looks.
- 9:22Speaker 5: I could hook you up with a good reel.
- 9:25Speaker 3: I'm just gonna do a little research probably and kind
- 9:28Speaker 3: of you know.
- 9:29Speaker 5: It would look good on this. Is that the core's
- 9:31Speaker 5: banquet reel? Mm hmm, beautiful gold.
- 9:34Speaker 1: That's not what franc really smell.
- 9:38Speaker 5: The course bank, of course, banquet's like the best beer ever.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I'm not trying to go corporate.
- 9:43Speaker 5: He's gonna go I think that reel is like two
- 9:45Speaker 5: thousand dollars.
- 9:47Speaker 1: He's going to be going to like the flats of
- 9:49Speaker 1: Patagonia to find yeah, the perfect like little cobble of stone.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Well, I already talked to Bo and Peter's just obsessed
- 9:59Speaker 3: with this core and I have a I have a
- 10:01Speaker 3: line out to Nate, although he hasn't responded because I
- 10:03Speaker 3: don't think he's real love this wood too, But we
- 10:07Speaker 3: are talking about potentially hitting up Canyon Ranch or uh yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 3: some some spot and maybe like Idaho middle fork of
- 10:16Speaker 3: the Salmon River.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Oh, that sounds nice, the middle fork of the Salmon.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Or we're talking about that.
- 10:21Speaker 5: E've been thinking about going Idaho to going for the
- 10:24Speaker 5: uh the salmon fly hatch.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what we were talking about.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Loving this Uh, I don't even know what this is.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Okay, let's not add too many finger oils to the finish, please.
- 10:38Speaker 5: Beautiful rod. Yeah, so put it together.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Let's put it together. Yeah.
- 10:43Speaker 5: I would have brought my reel and we could have
- 10:44Speaker 5: brought we could have done some casting in the hallway.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Ohow, it would be so nice. Well, all the corporate
- 10:49Speaker 1: people are selling this beautiful show to our beautiful sponsors.
- 10:54Speaker 1: We're just whipping cas.
- 10:55Speaker 5: This should be one of our sponsors, Patron rods. Everybody
- 10:58Speaker 5: check him out.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Pretty it's so lightweight, but the heft to the there's
- 11:05Speaker 1: like just enough counterbalance on the cork.
- 11:08Speaker 5: I'm be afraid to really jammer in there.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Well, I'm not trying to go for anything too, you know,
- 11:13Speaker 3: extreme right now. Definitely want to protect the integrity of
- 11:16Speaker 3: the rod.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'm going back of hand so as not to have
- 11:19Speaker 1: too many finger oils.
- 11:20Speaker 3: You know, they do say that assembling a fly rod
- 11:23Speaker 3: inside can sometimes lead to a bad hatch, and that's
- 11:27Speaker 3: because it's it's been like opening an umbrella indoors. There's
- 11:32Speaker 3: some people are superstitious about that. But again, nine foot
- 11:35Speaker 3: fly rod, five weight, just you know, gonna do a
- 11:38Speaker 3: little research about sort of what sort of leader.
- 11:42Speaker 5: And watch that tip, brother, watch that tip. Those things
- 11:45Speaker 5: will snap.
- 11:46Speaker 1: He's given it a wide berth.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Come on, bro so Sas, let's be honest.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Now now that he has now that.
- 11:52Speaker 3: I have a better fly rod than any of your rods,
- 11:56Speaker 3: how does that make you feel? This is handcrafted in Portugal?
- 11:59Speaker 5: Yeah, probably, you definitely do. Let me get my paws
- 12:03Speaker 5: on this better fly rod than Sass he goes every
- 12:09Speaker 5: week and he rents a car. Yeah, it's definitely a
- 12:12Speaker 5: nicer rod than I have. I mean, this cork is great.
- 12:16Speaker 5: I don't know what this material.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Is here, but it's isn't fiberglass.
- 12:19Speaker 5: I don't know, but I mean you can tell you're
- 12:21Speaker 5: gonna get a lot of flex with this.
- 12:22Speaker 3: A lot of flex. I asked for extra flex.
- 12:25Speaker 1: One thing that I will say in cantuspell force one
- 12:29Speaker 1: time bro real seat is inlaid with the coach wood.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Guides are all titanium, titanium. There are a lot of goods.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Yeah, well I asked for extra guides.
- 12:40Speaker 5: Well there is like a like my rod definitely doesn't
- 12:43Speaker 5: have that many guides. It's a ton of guides.
- 12:45Speaker 3: They say, the more guides, the more experienced you are.
- 12:48Speaker 1: That's ten right there.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I wanted a guide that I wanted to rod that
- 12:53Speaker 3: I could sort of work my way into because I
- 12:55Speaker 3: know I'm going to progress quickly, so I didn't want
- 12:57Speaker 3: to have to get a new rod as soon as
- 12:59Speaker 3: I'd out grown like a beginner rod like you have.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Did you set this up right? This is very interesting?
- 13:10Speaker 5: Are you the guy? The guide holes are quite small?
- 13:12Speaker 5: Are you make it tough to fish in the winter. Yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 5: I mean, I look, I have a lot going on
- 13:17Speaker 5: in the winter. This is clearly a summer rod.
- 13:18Speaker 3: That's fine, that's fine, I ski in the winter.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Great beginner rod for the summer.
- 13:22Speaker 3: No, this is not a beginner starter kit. This is
- 13:25Speaker 3: an expert run.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Does this make you more or less likely to fish
- 13:30Speaker 1: with Francis?
- 13:32Speaker 5: Doesn't really change the odds at all. If I have
- 13:36Speaker 5: four fly rods, and I've told Francis that multiple times,
- 13:41Speaker 5: do you want to actually I have three one of them, broke.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Do you want to be around him with his fly
- 13:46Speaker 1: rod or do you want to exclude him because he
- 13:48Speaker 1: has better gear than you? As a gear guy?
- 13:50Speaker 5: Well no, I mean I definitely have better gear than
- 13:52Speaker 5: Francis overall. But his rod is nice.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Dude. If you want to get into a gear off,
- 13:56Speaker 3: and I'm not sure you.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Want that, fine, I'm not sure that you want that.
- 14:00Speaker 5: I can.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I can outgear you any day of the week.
- 14:03Speaker 5: My reel alone now gears all of your gear.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Oh okay, yeah, well we'll see. We'll see who has
- 14:11Speaker 3: the more expensive.
- 14:12Speaker 5: You're gonna go, You're gonna go to a store to
- 14:14Speaker 5: try to buy a nice reel as like a bit,
- 14:15Speaker 5: and then you're gonna realize how expensive they are, and
- 14:17Speaker 5: then you're gonna be like, this is not worth it.
- 14:20Speaker 3: You are not aware of how willing I am to
- 14:23Speaker 3: spend money so unnecessarily.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Like an ice reel is gonna be like one thousand dollars.
- 14:29Speaker 3: I bought a six thousand dollars coat.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Yeah, that you you like that you don't go fishing.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I like beating you by having I'm definitely gonna I mean,
- 14:37Speaker 3: I'm gonna borrow the rod a couple of times, for sure.
- 14:39Speaker 3: That's what you think.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Nothing's coming out to the gorge with me this weekend.
- 14:42Speaker 3: The only time I'm lending you this rod is when
- 14:45Speaker 3: we are switching rods midstream together to try different weights
- 14:50Speaker 3: and feels.
- 14:51Speaker 5: That's what I have, A nine point five weight. I
- 14:53Speaker 5: have two.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Actually that's the sweet spot it is.
- 14:56Speaker 5: That's the same weight and length that I've bought my
- 14:58Speaker 5: dad for Christmas.
- 14:59Speaker 3: It's the best chance of catching browns.
- 15:01Speaker 5: No, it doesn't change your chance of catching any fish
- 15:03Speaker 5: at all.
- 15:04Speaker 3: They say browns are more likely to go for the
- 15:06Speaker 3: nine footers.
- 15:07Speaker 5: No they're not. They're Actually it does not matter.
- 15:10Speaker 3: I tried, I tried to catch browns with an eight
- 15:13Speaker 3: footer six weight and nothing happened, And eight foot.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Six weight would be the most bizarre rod of all.
- 15:18Speaker 3: There you go. Browns are very discerning.
- 15:21Speaker 5: I have a I have an eight foot uh three
- 15:24Speaker 5: weight great for small creeks where he got a lot
- 15:28Speaker 5: of overhang.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Not going for small creeks. I'm more of an open
- 15:32Speaker 3: water kind of guy.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Small creeks catch big fish with too much overhang just
- 15:36Speaker 5: sounds like a headache. Yeah, is it?
- 15:39Speaker 1: What is the most important piece of equipment?
- 15:42Speaker 3: They say the.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Grip for fly fishing, Like, if you're going for a
- 15:48Speaker 1: gear off, what is your centerpiece of gear?
- 15:51Speaker 5: You're rot for sure?
- 15:52Speaker 1: And he is the best rod.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Rod makes the man.
- 15:55Speaker 5: Yeah probably Yeah.
- 15:56Speaker 1: So he's the best rod and he has the best
- 15:59Speaker 1: most important thing.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I would say rod is very important.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Fly line, the actual line that you use is very important.
- 16:09Speaker 1: No problem, we'll have a better line.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I'm not worried about who's never worried about the line?
- 16:13Speaker 5: You don't even know what the line is?
- 16:15Speaker 3: What the line is?
- 16:16Speaker 5: Now? You don't you think the line is the clear
- 16:17Speaker 5: stuff at the end.
- 16:18Speaker 3: No, No, it's the stuff that leads up to the
- 16:20Speaker 3: clear stuff.
- 16:21Speaker 5: It's the pre line exactly because I just told you, no,
- 16:23Speaker 5: you didn't you and you hinted, and I carried it
- 16:26Speaker 5: the rest of the way because I already.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Knew I could see you just going on diamond medallion status.
- 16:34Speaker 5: Throw it in the captain's closet, the cot closet. Would
- 16:38Speaker 5: you mind hanging that up please? By the pilot closet.
- 16:41Speaker 1: What do they call it coat closet?
- 16:43Speaker 5: I thought they called it the captain's closet.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I don't think it has that mystical and magical of
- 16:50Speaker 1: a name.
- 16:52Speaker 5: You'll get a lot of people asking you questions if
- 16:54Speaker 5: you bore a fly with that, what you're targeting, what
- 16:58Speaker 5: species you're going for? Browns, browns mostly, I think hopefully
- 17:03Speaker 5: some cuddies if we're if we're lucky.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that I'd give myself one full season
- 17:08Speaker 3: before I am a more accomplished fisherman than sass.
- 17:13Speaker 5: I would love you to get into it. It'd be
- 17:15Speaker 5: fun because then also you already have a car something
- 17:17Speaker 5: you can go fishing, and I wouldn't have to spend
- 17:19Speaker 5: three hundred dollars every time I go, would pick you up.
- 17:23Speaker 5: That would be great for me.
- 17:25Speaker 3: It would be fun to spend time with you when
- 17:27Speaker 3: you're happy.
- 17:28Speaker 5: You wouldn't see me at all the second we park,
- 17:31Speaker 5: I'm gone, okay, just sprinting off just your chauffeur pretty much.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Well remind me not to go fishing with you, beautiful.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Rod though very impressive.
- 17:44Speaker 1: You'd self drive it out there?
- 17:45Speaker 3: Yes, that would be so nice. Mm hm, So I
- 17:48Speaker 3: can you know, set up my rod on the way.
- 17:51Speaker 1: People are saying nasty stuff about your your buddy.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, not great, not.
- 17:58Speaker 5: A great look to write his book too.
- 18:01Speaker 3: I've gone pretty quiet on Elon ever since.
- 18:03Speaker 5: The old uh, the old hole Hitler. Yeah, not great,
- 18:09Speaker 5: not a good one.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Well, I mean I'm sure that biography words are read.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind it.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Yeah, what did do you? I think that that was
- 18:22Speaker 1: the main void last week that we didn't get a
- 18:25Speaker 1: chance for you to talk about that.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Yeah. Uh, I don't know what to say about that.
- 18:31Speaker 3: I mean, somehow it's like it somehow it's just your politics.
- 18:37Speaker 3: If you are on the right, I guess, and you're
- 18:40Speaker 3: sort of on his side and part of the camp
- 18:42Speaker 3: that he's gonna clean up government, then you're gonna say
- 18:46Speaker 3: that this is a him trying to extend his heart.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Yeah, to a bunch of people. Yeah, I don't understand
- 18:54Speaker 5: what the confusion was. He said, I'm giving, I'm giving
- 18:58Speaker 5: my heart.
- 18:59Speaker 3: I think if I were to make the gesture of
- 19:03Speaker 3: wanting to give my heart to people, I think it
- 19:05Speaker 3: would be more like this, Like.
- 19:09Speaker 5: I think I'm gonna be like I think honestly, like
- 19:12Speaker 5: if his hand was out like that, even if it
- 19:15Speaker 5: was sharp, even if it was still like the because
- 19:17Speaker 5: he went like like, I know what I'm saying. If
- 19:22Speaker 5: you do, if you still do the the hit here
- 19:24Speaker 5: and then you go like that, that's kind of likely,
- 19:28Speaker 5: like my heart is out. That's like give a round
- 19:30Speaker 5: of applause to the orchestra. Y.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Yes, yes, I think there's yeah, there's there's I'm giving
- 19:35Speaker 3: you credit here spread the seeds of my of my soul.
- 19:39Speaker 1: You could have done like my heart.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, A little roll the dice.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Oh no, A little coming coming from the heart.
- 19:45Speaker 5: Yeah, that works, coming from the heart, jacket from the heart.
- 19:48Speaker 1: That would have been nice if he was coming from
- 19:50Speaker 1: the heart heart gasm.
- 19:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I would have taken a I would have I
- 19:53Speaker 5: would have tied up a nice heart shaped fly and
- 19:57Speaker 5: cast my heart into the crowd with your new rod.
- 20:00Speaker 5: You would have done it with your subpar rod.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I would have on some classic subtronic stub step. Yeah,
- 20:06Speaker 1: and got a fat vape pen and just vaped heard.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that.
- 20:13Speaker 5: What's your warranty on that? That's a big deal when
- 20:17Speaker 5: it comes to the fly rods. Yeah, I mean, listen,
- 20:19Speaker 5: this is sort of like dar warranty. The true artisan
- 20:23Speaker 5: rod makers know that. You know, It's sort of like
- 20:27Speaker 5: a mutual understanding. It's like getting a sword from a
- 20:31Speaker 5: master katana maker. Interesting, do you see kill Bell?
- 20:36Speaker 3: Yeah, you know when she goes to go get the sword. Yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 3: a hurry hot to or whatever to han Tori Hanso.
- 20:43Speaker 3: That's what this is. This is a Torri Hanzo. So
- 20:46Speaker 3: if I said, well, I've snagged my nine foot five
- 20:50Speaker 3: weight on a bramble.
- 20:54Speaker 1: And just take it back to Portugal, Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 3: You know, am I gonna ask Tori Hanso to make
- 20:58Speaker 3: me another sword? At that point I have lost in
- 21:04Speaker 3: my mind the right to earn to own that understood?
- 21:07Speaker 5: Understood. Well, let's say let's say one month from today,
- 21:11Speaker 5: we'll do a gear off, just a classic gear off.
- 21:14Speaker 3: I could use a little more time, all right, two months.
- 21:16Speaker 3: My expenses have been very high lately.
- 21:18Speaker 5: When do you want to do the gear off?
- 21:20Speaker 1: Let's set a eight March twenty seventh.
- 21:23Speaker 3: That's right after my birthday. Good thinking, that's the day
- 21:26Speaker 3: after my birthday.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I'll be sure to get you some gear.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll ask for it for my parents.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Well, March twenty six. We record on March twenty six,
- 21:32Speaker 1: on your birthday.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Fantastic. You're off on my birthday. You're off on your birthday. Well,
- 21:37Speaker 5: I don't want Maybe we do the week after, because
- 21:39Speaker 5: I don't want to have to let you win because
- 21:41Speaker 5: it's your birthday.
- 21:42Speaker 1: No, No, you wouldn't do that.
- 21:45Speaker 5: Would you ever do that? Why would you even suggest
- 21:47Speaker 5: that as being a thing. Oh, because I just feel bad.
- 21:49Speaker 5: I don't want to outgear you on your birthday.
- 21:53Speaker 3: I don't think you're going.
- 21:54Speaker 5: To that's a one way street to the birthday blues.
- 22:01Speaker 1: And we do not want Francis getting the birthday.
- 22:03Speaker 5: No, nothing's worse on the birthday blues.
- 22:05Speaker 1: No, that's a friend move. Fran would have the birthday.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Would have the birthday, the birthday.
- 22:12Speaker 1: But Frankie, Yeah, Frankie's never had the birthday blues.
- 22:16Speaker 5: What do you think birthday blues or the or the
- 22:19Speaker 5: post Christmas blues? Birthday blues birthday I don't really get
- 22:23Speaker 5: the post Christmas blues. Well, I'm talking about more was
- 22:25Speaker 5: like a child.
- 22:25Speaker 3: As a child, Sure, yes, there was an emptiness there,
- 22:29Speaker 3: but that is fleeting. It's quickly, you know, you just
- 22:34Speaker 3: get over it. Whereas birthday blues getting older or another year,
- 22:38Speaker 3: you take a total snapshot of your life and how
- 22:42Speaker 3: happy you are with it.
- 22:43Speaker 5: I've never had the I don't think I've ever had
- 22:45Speaker 5: really bad birthday blues. I used to get the Christmas
- 22:48Speaker 5: blues every Christmas, like when it was over.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Because you were sad that Jesus is getting older.
- 22:53Speaker 5: I was sad that Jesus had gone on another year.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Then I was just sad that he keeps dying every
- 22:57Speaker 5: year and then coming back.
- 22:58Speaker 3: And then he keeps getting.
- 23:04Speaker 1: It's not the story of Christmas at all.
- 23:08Speaker 3: If Mary and Joseph had knocked on your door that night,
- 23:13Speaker 3: would you have given them shelter, a spare bed.
- 23:17Speaker 5: I mean they could take the couch.
- 23:21Speaker 3: With luxury you, oh, nine month pregnant woman about you know,
- 23:28Speaker 3: six centimeters dilated and her husband. You you two may
- 23:33Speaker 3: sleep on the couch.
- 23:35Speaker 5: If you let them sleep on the hardwood floor, they'd
- 23:37Speaker 5: be like, this is the nicest thing we've ever seen.
- 23:40Speaker 3: H They slept in a manger, right, Yeah, Actually, I
- 23:43Speaker 3: don't even know if they did much sleeping. They had
- 23:45Speaker 3: a baby.
- 23:46Speaker 5: They were night owls.
- 23:47Speaker 1: You think that Joseph was was like over the shoulder,
- 23:51Speaker 1: down the down the down the chute.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Come again for the delivery.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Great question for the delivery?
- 23:58Speaker 5: Oh, I see, I see probably down the shoot. If
- 24:01Speaker 5: I had to guess, I disagree. Knows it's not his
- 24:07Speaker 5: over the shoulders kind of a bitch move.
- 24:09Speaker 3: I'm gonna be an over the shoulder guy. I can
- 24:11Speaker 3: barely watch e R.
- 24:16Speaker 10: Y.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I think over their shoulders.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Definitely the move over the shoulders a bitch move.
- 24:23Speaker 3: There's certain things you can't unsee. My friend, you're.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Going down the pipe.
- 24:27Speaker 5: I'm right if it's me, I'm here, and you pull
- 24:32Speaker 5: it out with your teeth from using the umbilical cord.
- 24:36Speaker 3: No, like you're JFK towing a wounded soldier of one nine.
- 24:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm up and I'm up close if i'm Because
- 24:43Speaker 5: you don't want the like you got the doctor. You
- 24:45Speaker 5: don't want the doctor down the shoe while you're over
- 24:47Speaker 5: the shoulders can be women, doctor's gonna be down the shoe,
- 24:52Speaker 5: Yeah they can. Last thing I want is a nurse
- 24:59Speaker 5: delivering my wife. I'll tell you one thing. If it's
- 25:12Speaker 5: if I'm all over the shoulder and a lady walks in,
- 25:14Speaker 5: we're getting out, we're leaving. You know, we're we're gonna
- 25:17Speaker 5: go natural. We're gonna do it at home. To do it.
- 25:22Speaker 1: You just said that you don't want the guy to
- 25:24Speaker 1: do it.
- 25:24Speaker 5: Well, I don't mind if the guy does it if
- 25:26Speaker 5: I'm down the shoot with him.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Oh, you just wanted to be around you like a
- 25:28Speaker 1: t ball coach guiding your hands on how to do
- 25:31Speaker 1: it exactly, guiding your hips. Oh man, you think that
- 25:37Speaker 1: Mary and Joseph had like a a midwife.
- 25:42Speaker 9: Like that.
- 25:42Speaker 5: I just I was just thinking of that scene. Is
- 25:44Speaker 5: it is it from Knocked Up or where he's like,
- 25:47Speaker 5: you guys are sisters.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Yeah, well he looks she's getting you guys are sister.
- 25:54Speaker 3: She's getting the Oh the doctor says that yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 25:58Speaker 3: yeah yeah. The first doctor.
- 26:01Speaker 5: It is like one of the funniest lines in any movie.
- 26:04Speaker 5: But yeah, there this is the two sisters are there
- 26:07Speaker 5: and she's getting the ultrasound and he looks at her
- 26:10Speaker 5: vagina and he goes, you guys definitely are sisters.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that was pretty brilliant.
- 26:16Speaker 3: That was back in the time when Ken Jong still
- 26:19Speaker 3: could only play a doctor.
- 26:21Speaker 5: Oh yeah, because he was.
- 26:22Speaker 3: A real doctor. Yeah. Oh, I didn't even know that
- 26:24Speaker 3: Ken Jong is was and is I don't know it
- 26:27Speaker 3: still is a licensed doctor.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I don't think you lose doctor.
- 26:30Speaker 5: No, I don't think you do either.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Well, you got to probably keep it up if you're
- 26:33Speaker 3: not practicing, right.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I think it's just something. It's like a marine, like
- 26:36Speaker 1: you're you just are a retired doctor.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Yeah, well that's true by title.
- 26:41Speaker 3: But I'm saying, like could legally walk into Doubt Medical
- 26:47Speaker 3: office to tomorrow.
- 26:48Speaker 5: You probably got to renew your fucking.
- 26:50Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 26:51Speaker 5: Yeah, but I still do regret. I still think you
- 26:53Speaker 5: are still this is doctor.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Yeah, John. It's amazing that to watch him because I
- 27:00Speaker 3: think a lot of his early roles were pretty you know,
- 27:05Speaker 3: authoritative and learned and kind of you know, coming from
- 27:10Speaker 3: what he had done. And then as he got better,
- 27:13Speaker 3: well as his career progressed. He became Leslie Chow whipping
- 27:19Speaker 3: his account and hanging over.
- 27:20Speaker 5: To it is pretty fun. Used that was your doctor.
- 27:27Speaker 5: That guy diagnosed me with the chicken pox.
- 27:30Speaker 3: He was a child, told me to take six deep
- 27:33Speaker 3: breaths deethoscope.
- 27:35Speaker 1: I watched three movies this week. I saw a Gladiator too,
- 27:38Speaker 1: I saw A Night Bitch, and I saw The Apprentice.
- 27:42Speaker 1: That Trump movie.
- 27:43Speaker 5: Oh how was that?
- 27:45Speaker 1: I love he.
- 27:45Speaker 5: I have not seen any of those movies.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I like that. But but they they like really went
- 27:50Speaker 1: out of their way to to like push a gay narrative.
- 27:54Speaker 5: A gay narrative.
- 27:55Speaker 1: The movie was exclusively about. It was like Philadelphia. It
- 27:58Speaker 1: was basically about aids. Really, it was so much fucking.
- 28:02Speaker 1: It just had Roger Stone being so gay or no
- 28:06Speaker 1: Roy Cone, I'm sorry, being super gay. You know Roy
- 28:09Speaker 1: Cone his his lawyer who I guess, but there's like
- 28:13Speaker 1: scenes of him just like fucking people. It's a fuck fest. Yeah,
- 28:17Speaker 1: And they try to put gay on Trump.
- 28:20Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 28:21Speaker 1: They have like a scene where Roy Cone is like
- 28:24Speaker 1: touching his leg.
- 28:25Speaker 5: You can say everything you want about Trump, but he's
- 28:26Speaker 5: definitely not gay.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Not put gay on my ball. It's so nasty.
- 28:31Speaker 5: First gay president though, that's pretty big or I guess
- 28:34Speaker 5: second Obama.
- 28:37Speaker 1: There definitely were other gay ones back in the day,
- 28:39Speaker 1: which one didn't one never got married.
- 28:44Speaker 5: Really.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Yeah, they try to put gay on Lincoln.
- 28:46Speaker 5: I could see Lincoln being gay for sure.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Why tall as hell? What are other tall gay guys
- 28:54Speaker 1: other than gay Pat? Actually, gay Pat has built exactly
- 28:56Speaker 1: like Lincoln. Yeah, any dudes with that build or gay
- 29:00Speaker 1: is Yeah.
- 29:01Speaker 5: That's a gay build. I mean Obama was writing letters
- 29:04Speaker 5: to men being like, I can't wait to get in
- 29:06Speaker 5: your ass tonight, like hand like handwritten letters getting your ass.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Did he mean it like I'm going to give you
- 29:15Speaker 1: a hard time?
- 29:16Speaker 5: He could have? Yeah, probably a hard time. You're sick.
- 29:21Speaker 3: I think that when presidents are done, we should buy
- 29:26Speaker 3: and large kind of let him be.
- 29:29Speaker 5: Well, I think that's what we've done with some like Bush.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Yeah, we've let Bush be, except I guess.
- 29:34Speaker 5: We did create the narrative that he did nine to eleven,
- 29:36Speaker 5: so that's not really letting him be buying large.
- 29:41Speaker 3: We've we've let him. His popularity has risen compared to
- 29:48Speaker 3: uh and and I think that happens with most history
- 29:51Speaker 3: is typically kind to presidents. Yeah, in their legacy yeah,
- 29:58Speaker 3: that's true, and I think it.
- 30:03Speaker 5: I'd say, I'd say like, once three presidents go by,
- 30:06Speaker 5: you're good, You're in the clear.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Well. I saw this thing from THEO Vaughn where he
- 30:11Speaker 3: had this tweet about Biden yeah and sort of like, oh, yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 3: it's feeling bad for him, which was like he's like,
- 30:20Speaker 3: I wouldn't want, you know, someone to do this to
- 30:23Speaker 3: my grandfather or whatever, to put them in office and
- 30:26Speaker 3: puppeteer them around when their brains were failing. And people
- 30:31Speaker 3: got on him about it, I guess understandably whatever, but
- 30:35Speaker 3: it was an interesting sentiment.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Why do people what were people got on him saying
- 30:40Speaker 1: that he chose to be president.
- 30:41Speaker 3: They were like they were like, well, he illegally pardoned
- 30:44Speaker 3: all his members of his family and all this, and
- 30:47Speaker 3: and look, it's too close obviously, But I hope that
- 30:51Speaker 3: at some point before Biden dies, people will be like,
- 30:57Speaker 3: you know whatever, you're a good guy.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Yeah, am I wrong?
- 31:02Speaker 1: No?
- 31:02Speaker 5: I agree with you, But I don't think it will happen.
- 31:04Speaker 3: I don't think so either, because his presidency is too
- 31:06Speaker 3: close to life.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Yeah, and also it's just we're at a weird stage
- 31:10Speaker 5: and time right now, where like anytime that someone important does,
- 31:16Speaker 5: Like you're almost like forced to celebrate it.
- 31:20Speaker 1: What do you mean, like when the queen died?
- 31:21Speaker 5: Yeah, like anytime, like a big Like what do you.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Mean celebrate or celebrate their death? What celebrate their life
- 31:28Speaker 1: or celebrate their death?
- 31:29Speaker 5: Celebrate their death? Like end right now? Yeah?
- 31:32Speaker 1: Like point at the bad things people did during their life.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, right, really, like when that CEO got murdered,
- 31:42Speaker 5: like no one was allowed to be like, well, he
- 31:44Speaker 5: was a person with a family. The stance had to.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Be like I think more people said that than didn't.
- 31:52Speaker 5: I don't. I mean maybe I maybe I'm just in
- 31:54Speaker 5: a fuckingtron Yeah, chronically online world. It's probably what it is, honestly. Yeah,
- 32:01Speaker 5: I don't even think I'm that. I don't even think
- 32:02Speaker 5: I am. I wouldn't say I'm chronically online. That's probably
- 32:05Speaker 5: just the most I've seen people talk about stuff like
- 32:07Speaker 5: I'm not like hanging out with my friends being like,
- 32:08Speaker 5: what did you guys think about the CEO who got assassinated?
- 32:12Speaker 3: That was that? That's and leads me to another great
- 32:15Speaker 3: clip I saw that came up of Ari Shaffir.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Who's in the office right now?
- 32:20Speaker 3: Is he?
- 32:20Speaker 1: I think he's downstairs.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Really he was talking I think it was on the
- 32:24Speaker 3: Howie Mandel podcast, and he was like Howie Mandel was
- 32:28Speaker 3: asking him about I think anti semitism in the country.
- 32:33Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, I've seen this.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 5: I was like, yeah, where I haven't seen it? Yeah, yeah,
- 32:40Speaker 5: which I think.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Is a little overly simplistic. It definitely, I've seen it.
- 32:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I've seen it wherever. I've seen like just shit
- 32:50Speaker 5: in public of like what I remember, like when I
- 32:54Speaker 5: was younger, like my family was at the grocery store
- 32:56Speaker 5: and there was just a dude with like a massive
- 32:57Speaker 5: Swastika tattoo on his calf.
- 33:00Speaker 1: But if he's just a white dude that went to jail, yeah,
- 33:03Speaker 1: like maybe Elon Musk was just an Arian brother in
- 33:06Speaker 1: jail and he's just trying to rep for his people
- 33:08Speaker 1: at sant Quentin.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Yeah, Elon Musk does come from South Africa, which is
- 33:13Speaker 3: the most the most racist country.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Yeah, they like for a long time, we're like we're
- 33:19Speaker 1: gonna hold on racism.
- 33:21Speaker 5: It is funny too Africa. The push is always like, oh,
- 33:26Speaker 5: Obama's actually from Kenya, and like all this ship like
- 33:30Speaker 5: all these people are are not who they say they are.
- 33:33Speaker 5: And then everyone like all these people. But all the
- 33:35Speaker 5: people that say that are like they rally behind Elon,
- 33:37Speaker 5: who's literally not from America, but.
- 33:39Speaker 3: They're not that. That's only because the Constitution prohibits somebody
- 33:44Speaker 3: who's not born in this country from being president of
- 33:47Speaker 3: the United States, and they're not. Elon's not gonna make
- 33:50Speaker 3: a bit and try joked about that pretty involved, sure,
- 33:54Speaker 3: But Arnold Schwarzenegger was governor of California. Yeah, as Bill
- 33:59Speaker 3: Burr said, he can barely speak the language.
- 34:01Speaker 5: Yeah, it's true. You know that's a pretty high office.
- 34:04Speaker 5: Yeah to hold. Yeah, no fires when he was in
- 34:07Speaker 5: when he was in office.
- 34:08Speaker 3: So I was let me, let me transition to this
- 34:10Speaker 3: really quick.
- 34:11Speaker 5: I was in I.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Went to San Diego and I was out there and
- 34:18Speaker 3: it's bad. It's crazy. Why the the smoke is you
- 34:26Speaker 3: can taste it. I played golf.
- 34:29Speaker 5: Oh you're talking about you you're saying the fight you
- 34:30Speaker 5: could see the like the fires were affected.
- 34:34Speaker 3: What you're saying they were present?
- 34:35Speaker 5: I thought you mean, I thought you were talking about
- 34:37Speaker 5: like the homeless people in the.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Joy Lahoya got evacuator. They had an evacuation. Really while
- 34:45Speaker 3: I was there, we went and played golf at San
- 34:48Speaker 3: Diego Country Club, which is I don't know, twenty five minutes. Yeah,
- 34:52Speaker 3: downtown Sandy, I don't know where it is. And there
- 34:55Speaker 3: was ash raining down on the on the crane on
- 34:58Speaker 3: the greens, like you could have stuck your tongue out
- 35:01Speaker 3: and caught a piece of burned flash or something.
- 35:05Speaker 5: That's nuts and.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Just making black snowmen.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 5: Nothing in Phoenix and then there and then there was
- 35:12Speaker 5: like this whole layer of dark smoke that the sun
- 35:17Speaker 5: was penetrating through, which made it darker in.
- 35:19Speaker 3: The middle of the day. It was very eerie. Yeah,
- 35:22Speaker 3: and you just thought, I don't want to be outside. Yeah,
- 35:24Speaker 3: this is California. Yeah, we're the most sen here, the
- 35:27Speaker 3: most perfect weather in the entire country.
- 35:29Speaker 5: Yeah. It was very odd, very strange, spooky, not good.
- 35:33Speaker 5: That's pretty crazy.
- 35:34Speaker 1: But there was but nobody was leaving.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Dude. I don't really know at this point what it
- 35:39Speaker 3: would take for people to actually, you know what I mean,
- 35:42Speaker 3: People don't leave in when hurricanes are coming.
- 35:45Speaker 5: No, people are very they want to stand their ground, obstinate.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Yeah, well people, I mean, where do you It's a
- 35:51Speaker 1: bitch to have to go somewhere and where most people
- 35:54Speaker 1: don't have a place to go.
- 35:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that's the also, especially like if I
- 36:00Speaker 5: feel like a lot of like people. It's like, even
- 36:02Speaker 5: if you have like family, like I like, your family
- 36:04Speaker 5: usually lives around where you like, Like if you live
- 36:07Speaker 5: on the West Coast, I feel like your family probably
- 36:09Speaker 5: lives close to the West Coast. You know what I
- 36:11Speaker 5: mean right.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Now that that's a pretty big assumption. I have no
- 36:15Speaker 3: idea how true that is.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Or American Samoa. They probably live in like American Samoa.
- 36:21Speaker 1: And then you get into a moana situation where you
- 36:23Speaker 1: literally have to raft to see your family.
- 36:25Speaker 5: Well, it's like if you live in La, say your
- 36:27Speaker 5: family lives in San Diego, what do you evacuate San Diego?
- 36:30Speaker 5: And then all of a sudden the fires are in
- 36:31Speaker 5: San Diego.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Where I mean you're drawing up the most specific hypothetical.
- 36:36Speaker 1: That specific Most people in La their only family is
- 36:40Speaker 1: in San Diego. That's why Dodgers fam.
- 36:44Speaker 5: LA is a very big city.
- 36:45Speaker 1: LA is not.
- 36:46Speaker 5: It's not just people who like flew out there to
- 36:48Speaker 5: become an influencer. I know there are people that are
- 36:51Speaker 5: like born and raised influencer, there are, but.
- 36:55Speaker 3: There are also there are also plenty of people whose
- 36:57Speaker 3: parents live on the East Coast who live and work
- 37:00Speaker 3: in LA.
- 37:01Speaker 5: I'd say I would I would assume that more people
- 37:05Speaker 5: that live in it. I'd assume there's more people in
- 37:08Speaker 5: LA whose families live in California or near California than
- 37:12Speaker 5: people that live in LA than whose family live on
- 37:14Speaker 5: the East Coast.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Are you making this a Mexico thing? Bro? You're making
- 37:18Speaker 1: nothing about Mexican brothers.
- 37:20Speaker 3: You know, I don't disagree with the point you're making,
- 37:24Speaker 3: but I just don't what what?
- 37:25Speaker 5: Who cares? Why does that matter? Because I'm saying they
- 37:28Speaker 5: have nowhere to evacuate to. But out of the people
- 37:31Speaker 5: in this room, we all live in New York City,
- 37:33Speaker 5: all every single person in this room, all of our
- 37:36Speaker 5: families live on the East Coast. Why is it insane
- 37:39Speaker 5: to think that it's the same in LA.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Most of my family are my family lives in.
- 37:43Speaker 5: Chicago, your immediate family, my mom family, Your mom's family
- 37:50Speaker 5: lives in Chicago. And what about your dad's.
- 37:53Speaker 3: He's looking at you as if you're fucking lying.
- 37:56Speaker 5: What about your dad's family? They're from New York, They're
- 37:59Speaker 5: from New York And where do they live now?
- 38:01Speaker 1: They? I mean, there's there's not many lefts. There's like
- 38:03Speaker 1: two to where does your dad live? Yes, and they
- 38:08Speaker 1: live in New York.
- 38:10Speaker 5: Okay, so that's exactly what I just said. I don't
- 38:13Speaker 5: understand how that's a crazy thing to say, Francis, you
- 38:20Speaker 5: live in New York City. Your family lives in Maine.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Wow, stunning, a stunning proximity.
- 38:27Speaker 1: What what? Why?
- 38:28Speaker 5: I don't understand why this is a crazy thing to say.
- 38:32Speaker 5: It's not that, it's My whole point is that it's
- 38:34Speaker 5: not crazy. I'm saying. We were we were talking about
- 38:37Speaker 5: how it's hard to evacuate, like all people don't have
- 38:39Speaker 5: a place to evacuate to, and then I agreed and said, yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 5: a lot of the people even like if you live
- 38:44Speaker 5: by yourself, you're sure places that you would evacuate to
- 38:47Speaker 5: are probably not that far from where the fires are.
- 38:50Speaker 3: To that point, I would say that families that live
- 38:53Speaker 3: in Los Angeles whose kids also live in Los Angeles
- 38:57Speaker 3: adult kids are just as likely to have an aunt
- 39:01Speaker 3: or an uncle who lives in you know, Oregon or
- 39:05Speaker 3: fucking Chicago, Chicago, or any other place in Vegas as
- 39:11Speaker 3: as we are American Samoa.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Like, if you don't think that, you think nobody's rafting
- 39:16Speaker 1: to see their family.
- 39:17Speaker 5: All I'm saying is like, right now city lit on fire,
- 39:22Speaker 5: all of us would be where would we go?
- 39:25Speaker 1: California? Because that's family.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Where you a family in californiast.
- 39:29Speaker 1: People's families live in San Diego. That was the first
- 39:31Speaker 1: thing that we established.
- 39:33Speaker 5: I don't understand like you guys have completely twisted what
- 39:35Speaker 5: I said and made it into something crazy. I don't
- 39:37Speaker 5: think what I've said is I think actually my point
- 39:39Speaker 5: that we all live in New York City and all
- 39:41Speaker 5: of our families live near New York City proved my
- 39:44Speaker 5: point completely. Family lives, I mean, is Maine near New
- 39:48Speaker 5: York City? Yes, six hour drive, that's not far at all. Okay,
- 39:53Speaker 5: in the grand scheme of things, that is not far.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Then you could argue California and the grand scheme of
- 39:59Speaker 3: things is not that.
- 40:00Speaker 1: But like I was in Chicago yesterday.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Because it's because I just went there for like five days.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, yeah, you could get to California. I'm
- 40:13Speaker 5: not saying you can't get to California, but it's definitely
- 40:16Speaker 5: not close to New York.
- 40:17Speaker 1: City's whip that rod out again.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Here's my question. If New York City did catch fire,
- 40:29Speaker 3: there was an impending catastrophic event that would force us
- 40:33Speaker 3: to evacuate. Where would you go to?
- 40:37Speaker 5: Massachusetts?
- 40:39Speaker 3: But that might be too close.
- 40:41Speaker 5: That I'm fucked. That's it, and I don't have anywhere
- 40:45Speaker 5: else to go.
- 40:45Speaker 3: You're gonna quit.
- 40:46Speaker 5: My whole family lives in Massachusetts.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Every single safe haven, open door, spare bedroom that you
- 40:53Speaker 3: know is located in Massachusetts.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:56Speaker 5: I mean, I guess I could go to like Colorado.
- 40:58Speaker 3: There you go.
- 41:00Speaker 5: That's nice, That's not really when. But when I think
- 41:03Speaker 5: of evacuating, I'm not thinking of like getting on a
- 41:05Speaker 5: plane and flying to Colorado. Why not if New York
- 41:10Speaker 5: City was on fire or if we were like under attack.
- 41:15Speaker 5: I don't think it would be that easy to just
- 41:16Speaker 5: like hop off. Oh I'm just gonna hop on a
- 41:18Speaker 5: flight to Colorado.
- 41:19Speaker 3: We all have high status on Delta.
- 41:21Speaker 5: I think status is going out because we can't.
- 41:24Speaker 1: We have the hotline. We have a Diamond Medallion hotline.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Do you know how much I love it When I
- 41:28Speaker 3: go through the first automated messaging and then it tells
- 41:31Speaker 3: me the expected weight time.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Is zero minutes, zero minutes, I use it. I'm saying
- 41:37Speaker 1: my d line. By the way, that was my first
- 41:39Speaker 1: time using it after you put me onto it. No wait,
- 41:41Speaker 1: there was a big line otherwise and then digital ID
- 41:45Speaker 1: A ID no because.
- 41:46Speaker 5: I use Sky Priority, which is faster.
- 41:48Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no no no. I used to
- 41:52Speaker 1: think that.
- 41:52Speaker 3: You're taking your shoes off, sass, and in an evacuation,
- 41:55Speaker 3: that's going to be a problem.
- 41:57Speaker 5: You need to take Digital idea is going to be
- 41:58Speaker 5: up and running in an evacuation.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Hundred. That thing's never going anywhere. In fact, I would
- 42:03Speaker 3: say that the people who have Digital ID clear and
- 42:06Speaker 3: t s A pre check are getting the best seats
- 42:09Speaker 3: on the last plane out of town to Colorado.
- 42:12Speaker 5: Where we can fish. I promise you you're not going
- 42:14Speaker 5: to want to be sitting first class when we're evacuating.
- 42:17Speaker 5: They're going to be doubling up on first class.
- 42:20Speaker 1: No, they're not two people per se. They're gonna be
- 42:22Speaker 1: doubling up and coach. It's going to be like that.
- 42:23Speaker 5: It's going to be like when the Taliban took over
- 42:25Speaker 5: Afghanistan again and people were hanging onto the little wings
- 42:28Speaker 5: of the plane trying to escape.
- 42:29Speaker 1: That's not that's not how it's going to go down.
- 42:32Speaker 5: Yes it is. I'm talking about Okay, so Obviously, New
- 42:34Speaker 5: York's never going to catch on.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Fire because not enough built out of wood anymore.
- 42:38Speaker 5: There's not enough. There's not enough.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Because firefighters are so fucking good.
- 42:43Speaker 3: There's a there was a pretty big fire I think
- 42:45Speaker 3: in Williamsburg this weekend.
- 42:47Speaker 5: Okay, but was it big enough to the point that
- 42:49Speaker 5: the whole city had to evacuate?
- 42:50Speaker 3: No, but everyone heard about it, and that's I didn't
- 42:52Speaker 3: hear about it. We it was not so big because
- 42:55Speaker 3: of the brave work of the fire department, and yeah,
- 43:00Speaker 3: York's bravest.
- 43:01Speaker 5: Yeah, so is that implying that the uh, the Los
- 43:04Speaker 5: Angeles fires were brave work?
- 43:09Speaker 3: Gavin Newsome was telling them, guys, let this burn out
- 43:11Speaker 3: for a little bit.
- 43:12Speaker 5: Interesting.
- 43:13Speaker 1: It was mismanaged, classic mismanagement.
- 43:16Speaker 5: So all right, let's be realistic. There's a blackout in
- 43:20Speaker 5: New York City. An e MP has been set off. Nice,
- 43:27Speaker 5: where are you gonna go? Because okay, first of all,
- 43:29Speaker 5: Tesla fucked, so now you're fought.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Well, I'll have the charge that I've got.
- 43:33Speaker 5: No EMP is going to clear that charge out.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Oh, oh, you think you may be right.
- 43:39Speaker 5: I don't know you could be right about that.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I think that I actually got.
- 43:43Speaker 5: Gas So what's your plan.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I think the actual procedural of getting out of the
- 43:47Speaker 1: city in a car is fucked. Is city bike available
- 43:53Speaker 1: to me?
- 43:53Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 43:54Speaker 5: No, city bike wouldn't be available to you.
- 43:58Speaker 1: They'd be locked up, not even in a loop. Oh,
- 44:00Speaker 1: I can't get a loophole.
- 44:01Speaker 5: I mean you could smash the thing open and get
- 44:03Speaker 5: the bike out.
- 44:03Speaker 3: I'll tell you what I'm doing. I'm going straight to
- 44:07Speaker 3: that marina in Brooklyn Bridge Park and hot wiring a
- 44:11Speaker 3: boat or getting a sailboat.
- 44:14Speaker 5: How are you going to hot wire with no electricity?
- 44:16Speaker 3: Exactly? So that's why I'm going sailboat.
- 44:18Speaker 1: There's containing ELEC like a boat. A boat doesn't rely
- 44:22Speaker 1: on any other electricity. If you just go to a marina,
- 44:27Speaker 1: you could use a boat that's the same amount of
- 44:28Speaker 1: electricity that a car uses.
- 44:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess that's true. You're right about that.
- 44:33Speaker 1: So we we could get hot wire.
- 44:35Speaker 5: But I think so that's the master plan for you guys,
- 44:38Speaker 5: is you're cann wire a boat off of a marina
- 44:41Speaker 5: in Brooklyn, maybe a jet ski okay, and then what
- 44:43Speaker 5: where're gonna get uh, Staten Island.
- 44:47Speaker 3: See how much gas we've got. I mean it's probably
- 44:49Speaker 3: Jersey to start and then on down to Delaware.
- 44:52Speaker 5: The gas is going to be limited, like everyone's gonna
- 44:54Speaker 5: want gas, and there's not a lot of gas in
- 44:56Speaker 5: New York.
- 44:56Speaker 3: So so that's why I'm going to wait till cover
- 44:58Speaker 3: of nightfall, and I'm gonna have a little half. No,
- 45:00Speaker 3: this is apocalypse. Have you ever siphoned?
- 45:04Speaker 5: Yes?
- 45:04Speaker 1: I have.
- 45:05Speaker 3: No, you haven't.
- 45:05Speaker 5: You haven't. I certainly have.
- 45:08Speaker 3: I absolutely have stuck my mouth on the business end
- 45:11Speaker 3: of a hose out of our John Deere tractor and
- 45:14Speaker 3: I have siphoned gas into it.
- 45:16Speaker 5: The heaf as well.
- 45:17Speaker 3: No way.
- 45:18Speaker 5: Yeah, do you even know why that works? Gravity? I
- 45:22Speaker 5: think it's pressure, right, gravity, It's always suction pressure. It's
- 45:26Speaker 5: amazing gravity.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it is amazing that that works. I can't believe
- 45:31Speaker 1: you both have siphoned.
- 45:33Speaker 5: No, I have never siphoned, and I don't.
- 45:37Speaker 3: I have siphoned.
- 45:38Speaker 5: I'm sure you have, just like you have somewhere to
- 45:41Speaker 5: escape to if New York City goes under.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Got higher status on Delta than you do.
- 45:46Speaker 5: You actually don't. You actually have the exact same You
- 45:48Speaker 5: made it to Diamond. You We've had this conversation multiple times.
- 45:52Speaker 5: You made it to Diamond.
- 45:53Speaker 3: I thought you were just platinum.
- 45:54Speaker 5: No, I am diamond. I'm proud of I'm diamond medallion.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I'm getting out to Harleysville, Pennsylvania. There's a farm.
- 46:01Speaker 5: Why are you going to Pennsylvania.
- 46:03Speaker 1: There's a farm at Harleysville Way.
- 46:04Speaker 5: Why are you going to Pensylvania.
- 46:05Speaker 1: There's a farm I know that has that has chickens.
- 46:08Speaker 5: Oh okay, there's a farm that I know, and it's
- 46:10Speaker 5: because you're a family in Pennsylvania.
- 46:12Speaker 1: No, there's a farm to Colorado.
- 46:18Speaker 5: I thought you guys were going to Colorado.
- 46:19Speaker 3: No, you're going to Colorado.
- 46:21Speaker 5: How am I going to get to Colorado?
- 46:22Speaker 3: Diamond?
- 46:23Speaker 5: Dude, there's no planes.
- 46:26Speaker 1: I think we got to stop in Teeterborough, New Jersey.
- 46:28Speaker 1: That we hijack a prop plane, we hijack a midsized
- 46:34Speaker 1: Cessna because I don't want there to be too much turbulence.
- 46:36Speaker 3: No, we need to go a little bigger.
- 46:39Speaker 5: Guys are fucked.
- 46:40Speaker 1: You're fucked, Yes, turbulence.
- 46:42Speaker 5: You're fucked.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Dude.
- 46:43Speaker 5: What francis you're I mean you're a little closer to
- 46:45Speaker 5: survival now that you got the rod. I will say that, dude.
- 46:48Speaker 3: I know how to start fires in the wild. I
- 46:50Speaker 3: know how to do things.
- 46:50Speaker 1: I'm at a chicken factory.
- 46:52Speaker 5: Look, I'm not saying you don't know how to do that.
- 46:54Speaker 3: I have spent more hours outdoors over the last year
- 46:57Speaker 3: than you have. I think I'm okay. You're in trouble.
- 47:00Speaker 5: I'm not in trouble. I'm good. Why I'm as soon
- 47:04Speaker 5: as shit hits the fan, I'm gone to Massachusetts. I
- 47:08Speaker 5: live I live right next to the tunnel. I'll walk
- 47:11Speaker 5: the tunnel. I'll just walk to Jersey, and then once
- 47:13Speaker 5: I'm in Jersey, I'm clear.
- 47:14Speaker 1: So we couldn't walk to Jersey from Brooklyn.
- 47:18Speaker 5: Good luck getting there before the tunnels closed. You're gonna
- 47:22Speaker 5: be swimming across the river.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Fine, we'll go to Connecticut. We'll go eastnetic west. Why
- 47:27Speaker 3: is Connecticut?
- 47:28Speaker 5: Soon as shit hits the fan in New York, the
- 47:30Speaker 5: US is probably just gonna blow up Connecticut because they
- 47:32Speaker 5: finally got the chance to sacrifice it. Yeah, just shoot hits.
- 47:38Speaker 5: New York's gone. Just get rid of Connecticut. While you're at.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Connecticut's got mansions, bro, Connecticut has probably mansions that have
- 47:43Speaker 1: so much space that it feels like you're in the wilderness.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Yeah, bomb shelters, they got survival bunkers.
- 47:49Speaker 1: If you want to be like a wilding going to
- 47:51Speaker 1: Connecticut and running through rich people's like neighborhoods and spooking them,
- 47:54Speaker 1: that will be sick like Newport.
- 47:56Speaker 3: That's Rhode Island, Rhode Islands.
- 47:58Speaker 1: I think some I think your biggest problem would wind
- 48:00Speaker 1: up being that you would start a little bit of
- 48:04Speaker 1: a counterculture society of cannibals, and you would be like
- 48:08Speaker 1: kind of the leader of them, like finding people on
- 48:11Speaker 1: the road a Cormack McCarthy style, and like probably disemboweling them.
- 48:16Speaker 1: But then your group, your band of merry men, would
- 48:19Speaker 1: turn against you.
- 48:20Speaker 5: Why though, why would they turn against me? I brought
- 48:22Speaker 5: them this far.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I think that you're the fact that you would want
- 48:26Speaker 1: to eat first every time.
- 48:27Speaker 3: No, that's where you're wrong, though, because I would know,
- 48:29Speaker 3: I would know not to save the tastiest.
- 48:32Speaker 1: I feel like you'd be eating the rump, just going
- 48:34Speaker 1: right to town, right offer.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Achilles heels and all sorts of things, the bacon, the
- 48:38Speaker 3: bacon of the person.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I think that you were just once. What's the highest
- 48:42Speaker 1: leadership position you've ever been in.
- 48:46Speaker 3: I was vice president of my freshman class at Chevros.
- 48:52Speaker 3: I was captain of the lacrosse team my senior year.
- 48:56Speaker 1: That's pretty good. And what was your like approof were
- 49:00Speaker 1: writing amongst your the lacrosse team or at Chevron Chevron.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Chev's well as a as vice president. We didn't really
- 49:09Speaker 3: do much as freshmen. In fact, I don't I think
- 49:11Speaker 3: we only went to like one or two of the
- 49:13Speaker 3: student leadership meetings before we realized we had no skin
- 49:17Speaker 3: in the game.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Okay, so people were probably okay with you, though they
- 49:20Speaker 1: wouldn't want to kill you.
- 49:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:22Speaker 5: Yeah, my leadership is I'm killing Francis immediately.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Well, I think you've got to let him hunt for
- 49:29Speaker 1: a couple of days first.
- 49:30Speaker 5: I'm still look, I'm still on the topic of this
- 49:33Speaker 5: West Coast thing.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Same.
- 49:35Speaker 5: I feel like you guys showed me an apology.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Because I said that people will live in America.
- 49:40Speaker 5: You guys were in You guys were wiping tears away
- 49:43Speaker 5: from your faces, laughing.
- 49:44Speaker 1: So you're ac feel like nobody lives in American Samoa
- 49:46Speaker 1: like weirdly, like all I.
- 49:49Speaker 5: Was saying is that if you if you live, it's
- 49:52Speaker 5: not uncommon for the place that you live. Like genuinely,
- 49:55Speaker 5: like most people that I know where they live there,
- 49:59Speaker 5: they their family is from closer there. That's not an
- 50:01Speaker 5: uncommon I don't really know how you feel the need
- 50:05Speaker 5: to throat fuck us with that.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Point that like milk toast dash point.
- 50:10Speaker 11: What is hairs dude, because we were talking about we
- 50:16Speaker 11: were talking about evacuating from California.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Doesn't matter, It doesn't matter at all. We are nay,
- 50:26Speaker 3: I don't even know if we're disagreeing here.
- 50:29Speaker 11: We're talking about evacuating through California. And I was saying,
- 50:35Speaker 11: and you guys were like, well, yeah, you're you're, you're
- 50:37Speaker 11: it's fucked, And I was like, yeah, it's fucked. Because also,
- 50:40Speaker 11: like even if you have to evacuate, the only place
- 50:42Speaker 11: that you really could probably evacuate, like if you have
- 50:44Speaker 11: family is in California, Like there's probably a lot of
- 50:48Speaker 11: people that evacuated from LA to San Diego.
- 50:51Speaker 5: You're still reiterating.
- 50:52Speaker 3: It, you guys.
- 50:54Speaker 5: You guys laughed at my face, being like, no, dude,
- 50:56Speaker 5: what makes you think that anyone from LA has family
- 50:59Speaker 5: in LA. That's pretty much what you guys were saying.
- 51:02Speaker 1: I just don't think that it's that like a thunderous
- 51:05Speaker 1: of a point.
- 51:07Speaker 5: I do, I do I think I don't think it's
- 51:09Speaker 5: that thunder it. You just spilt your coffee everywhere, So
- 51:11Speaker 5: that's good. We'll have to get a new rug. But
- 51:13Speaker 5: that's fine.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Well, why wouldn't you stop that? Why won't you stop
- 51:16Speaker 1: that from happening?
- 51:16Speaker 5: When was I gonna stop it? He was on the
- 51:18Speaker 5: ground when I saw.
- 51:20Speaker 1: Two splattered pat coffee.
- 51:21Speaker 5: I looked over and it was on the ground.
- 51:24Speaker 1: There's two massive shit stains of coffee.
- 51:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 51:28Speaker 1: I guess that's my karma for not believing that people
- 51:31Speaker 1: can live close to their families. My head was in
- 51:33Speaker 1: the sand on that one.
- 51:34Speaker 5: You guys are like, well there's fires. I get Yeah,
- 51:36Speaker 5: just go to Oregon. Just go to uh Oregon actually
- 51:39Speaker 5: does work.
- 51:40Speaker 3: So that's a bad That's what I'm saying. Them getting
- 51:42Speaker 3: up to the Pacific Northwest is as easy as us
- 51:45Speaker 3: getting to New England from here, probably.
- 51:48Speaker 5: Yeah, probably, probably almost exactly, maybe, no, maybe a little farther.
- 51:53Speaker 3: California is pretty big.
- 51:54Speaker 5: From La to Oregon, it would be a haul.
- 51:56Speaker 3: That's a long way.
- 51:57Speaker 5: That's pretty much. That would probably be like a fifteen
- 52:00Speaker 5: hour drive.
- 52:00Speaker 1: So we should start saving gas. Then start saving We
- 52:03Speaker 1: should all get a pocket full of gas anytime we
- 52:05Speaker 1: swing by, like nip bottles of gas just in a
- 52:08Speaker 1: little nip bottle.
- 52:10Speaker 3: We should also get get sort of tuned up on
- 52:14Speaker 3: how to hand crank the propeller of Assessina.
- 52:18Speaker 5: Doesn't sound that complicated.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Did you ever see the movie The Great Escape? Now
- 52:23Speaker 3: you'd love that movie. I'm sure did you ever see it?
- 52:26Speaker 5: Uh A queen?
- 52:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it's old. I don't think I w camp World
- 52:31Speaker 3: War two. Maybe they're constantly trying to escape.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Oh I oh, maybe I have. I don't fucking know. Obviously,
- 52:39Speaker 1: I'm not adding anything to the conversation. Talk yeah you are,
- 52:44Speaker 1: you dig it's throw fuck badly. I I literally was
- 52:50Speaker 1: uh probably pushing back because just to have to be
- 52:55Speaker 1: argumentative for the.
- 52:56Speaker 3: Sake of I think I was too.
- 52:58Speaker 5: I think I made some great points. I think when
- 53:00Speaker 5: I drive, everyone in this room is from the East Coast.
- 53:03Speaker 5: I think that was kind of like nailing the coffin.
- 53:06Speaker 1: But what about you?
- 53:07Speaker 3: So?
- 53:07Speaker 5: And also I want the viewers you know, I'm not
- 53:09Speaker 5: just talking about us, speaking about our producers as well.
- 53:12Speaker 1: I think what you can't explain diaspora? A diaspora? Come again,
- 53:19Speaker 1: what's a diaspora?
- 53:19Speaker 5: Then?
- 53:20Speaker 1: How is it?
- 53:20Speaker 5: I mean, you've never heard that word in my entire life.
- 53:23Speaker 1: All humanity would just be at the same place.
- 53:26Speaker 5: You have to explain what a diaspora is before you
- 53:28Speaker 5: go and use it, like the spreading of a people.
- 53:31Speaker 5: How would you explain the spreading of people.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Like Africans living in America.
- 53:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, obviously that's a thing that happens.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Yeah, so people do spread out.
- 53:42Speaker 5: People spread out for sure. Yeah, yeah, people definitely spread out.
- 53:44Speaker 1: But you're acting like we're all still living in like
- 53:46Speaker 1: one strip of like the first neighborhood that.
- 53:49Speaker 5: I was saying, I was saying, it's I think it's
- 53:52Speaker 5: it's easy to not have somewhere like to easily just
- 53:55Speaker 5: evacuate too, because I don't think it's uncommon for people
- 53:58Speaker 5: to stay close to where their family is from.
- 53:59Speaker 1: What about this one? What about this one?
- 54:01Speaker 5: And then you guys were like, what makes you think that?
- 54:04Speaker 5: Why would you ever think something like that?
- 54:06Speaker 3: Yeah, look sas I'll do to you what you're doing
- 54:09Speaker 3: to us, which is to oversimplify everything that just happened.
- 54:13Speaker 3: You said that the people of San Diego in southern California,
- 54:18Speaker 3: given that all of their parents probably lived there too,
- 54:21Speaker 3: will have nowhere to go.
- 54:22Speaker 5: I don't think I said all I said, I said
- 54:25Speaker 5: a lot of people.
- 54:28Speaker 3: You said they're fucked. Yeah, categorically, yeah, pretty much. Yeah,
- 54:33Speaker 3: that I disagree on.
- 54:34Speaker 5: I'd say a good amount of people are fucked. I'd
- 54:37Speaker 5: say there's a there's probably I would say fifty percent
- 54:39Speaker 5: of the people that had to evacuate from the fires
- 54:41Speaker 5: are fucked.
- 54:42Speaker 1: If we're just nitpicking people's points, your original point of
- 54:47Speaker 1: you wouldn't be able to go anywhere except for Massachusetts
- 54:50Speaker 1: because that's where your family lived. Like, there's like you
- 54:53Speaker 1: could go anywhere because there's hotels and places to go everywhere.
- 54:58Speaker 5: Yeah, but I like, if the world was ending, I
- 55:01Speaker 5: would probably go back to my family. I probably wouldn't
- 55:03Speaker 5: just go like crash at the Hilton and fucking Poughkeepsie
- 55:05Speaker 5: for the night.
- 55:06Speaker 1: But you're saying, if the whole East Coast is on
- 55:08Speaker 1: fire with original burn, that's enough Poughkeepsie slander. Due, I
- 55:13Speaker 1: think people are over the Poughkeepsie slander. Give your give
- 55:18Speaker 1: your your closing argument on it.
- 55:20Speaker 5: My closing argument has been, it's done. It's over.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Okay, all right, guys, let's take a second and talk
- 55:25Speaker 1: about game time time ticketing partner of Barstool Sports, the
- 55:29Speaker 1: official ticketing partner of Son of a Boy Dad. You know,
- 55:31Speaker 1: it's big game season and we're big game hunting because
- 55:35Speaker 1: we want to be in the building at the big game.
- 55:38Speaker 1: So what do I do? But I open up Game
- 55:39Speaker 1: Time and I say, how am I going to get
- 55:42Speaker 1: to this game? And luckily they have solution after solution
- 55:46Speaker 1: to my problem and my favorite way to get to
- 55:49Speaker 1: the bottom of this little problem that I have Game
- 55:52Speaker 1: Time Picks. It's a tab a simple feature. All you
- 55:55Speaker 1: have to do is give it a click and suddenly

- 56:14Speaker 1: because it is the best down on the app. You
- 56:17Speaker 1: have to down with the Game Time out today and
- 56:18Speaker 1: use code boy Dad. It's easy to score great deals
- 56:21Speaker 1: with the new game Time Picks feature. What time is.
- 56:24Speaker 5: It game game time?
- 56:27Speaker 1: Sure, it's game time. We're going to the game or
- 56:29Speaker 1: what hopefully? But if we are, we're going with our
- 56:32Speaker 1: good friends over at game time. I got a facial
- 56:38Speaker 1: this week that's good.
- 56:40Speaker 3: Nice. Yeah, I haven't had one of those in a while.
- 56:42Speaker 3: My skin is so dry everywhere, My hands look ridiculous.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Most men don't get facials, right, this is my first one,
- 56:48Speaker 1: So I wanted to give you your chance to make any
- 56:49Speaker 1: type of facial jokes. You're gay, right, that kind of
- 56:53Speaker 1: stuff for like what was his name?
- 56:55Speaker 5: This is why we need me on the podcast to.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Get to get down well you guys, because France, because
- 56:59Speaker 1: you just oh, you just go.
- 57:00Speaker 5: I got a facial this weekend. And then France's immediate
- 57:03Speaker 5: response was, man, I haven't got one of those. In
- 57:05Speaker 5: a minute. Your response should have been, oh, I've never
- 57:08Speaker 5: even considered getting one of those.
- 57:10Speaker 3: I've had probably seven to seven ish. Yeah, that's seven
- 57:14Speaker 3: too many and they're awesome. It's seven too many.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I just got it for the first time. And my wife, no, way,
- 57:19Speaker 1: that was your first. It was that's probably your first
- 57:22Speaker 1: real one. What do you mean you've probably done facials
- 57:25Speaker 1: at home and shit like that. No, you've definitely done
- 57:28Speaker 1: like a little little spa day at home. No, she
- 57:30Speaker 1: asked me, she was like, what do you do for
- 57:31Speaker 1: your face? And I was just like, I just used
- 57:33Speaker 1: the soap that is in my shower.
- 57:35Speaker 3: See this what you use? Like bar soap?
- 57:38Speaker 1: No? Like a face body wash? Not face washed, just
- 57:41Speaker 1: a body wash.
- 57:42Speaker 3: You use a body wash on your face? Yeah, heavens
- 57:46Speaker 3: what do you use? Oh? I have so much to.
- 57:49Speaker 5: The lineup, not to.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Sound like a complete whateverxual. I have incredibly sensitive skin.
- 57:57Speaker 3: I have to I'm avoiding and threats at every turn.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Whether it's the soot of the subway or the sun
- 58:07Speaker 3: or the fires of San Diego, all of these things
- 58:10Speaker 3: get into your pores.
- 58:12Speaker 5: Yeah, dry me out.
- 58:13Speaker 1: I felt amazing at My skin was fucking silky afterwards.
- 58:17Speaker 1: But before I went in, my wife was like, you
- 58:20Speaker 1: might have to take your shirt off. And she was like,
- 58:24Speaker 1: because she goes to the same this Kazaki lady, this
- 58:27Speaker 1: lady from Kazakhstan who set us up, and she said
- 58:31Speaker 1: she she liked us like a top of the shoulders
- 58:34Speaker 1: like type of massage or something. I was like, that's fine, whatever,
- 58:37Speaker 1: I'm prepared to do that, even though I think it's
- 58:39Speaker 1: weird that that's part of it. I got there and
- 58:42Speaker 1: she was like, take everything off. I heard for a facial.
- 58:49Speaker 1: She wanted me to take my pants off.
- 58:51Speaker 5: What'd you say?
- 58:53Speaker 1: I did?
- 58:54Speaker 3: You went boxers?
- 58:55Speaker 1: Though?
- 58:56Speaker 6: Right?
- 58:56Speaker 1: I kept my boxers.
- 58:57Speaker 5: I'm not everything you get under a sheet, it's like
- 58:59Speaker 5: a massage.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I got under a sheet. I basically took my socks off.
- 59:02Speaker 1: I was cold. I felt so vulnerable. Why would she
- 59:05Speaker 1: make me take my pants off?
- 59:07Speaker 5: You faci, You boys have strayed too far from the path.
- 59:10Speaker 5: This is this sounds like a good facial. So what
- 59:12Speaker 5: they got you guys doing out in Brooklyn? Back to Manhattan?
- 59:17Speaker 1: It was actually a bio Epstein's old place.
- 59:18Speaker 5: I'm sure it was.
- 59:19Speaker 3: It was, dude, I've done them at Heyday, which is
- 59:22Speaker 3: like you know, a chain and they get you kind
- 59:25Speaker 3: of in and out pretty quick. That was okay. But
- 59:28Speaker 3: when you go to a place where there's only one
- 59:30Speaker 3: person and it's their individual place and they get you
- 59:33Speaker 3: fully addressed, that's a totally different experience.
- 59:36Speaker 1: She was this Kazaki lady. She was talking to me
- 59:38Speaker 1: about remembering when communism fell in her country, that that
- 59:43Speaker 1: that entrepreneurship was outlawed in Kazakhstan, that they couldn't have
- 59:47Speaker 1: any capitalistic instincts, that even if you were an artisan
- 59:50Speaker 1: who loved to build chairs, you couldn't open up a shop.
- 59:54Speaker 1: I'm getting all this laid on me while I'm asked
- 59:56Speaker 1: naked getting a facial. It was fucking heavy. Yeah, it's
- 59:59Speaker 1: a lot freezing.
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: I'm sure you were.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: No I have boxes on, but we got to get
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you out to a facial.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: Brother, skin looks pretty good. It looks really nice skin.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: You know what I use?
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Butter nothing? We should hit him with the fun Mary
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: kill true, it was a good one him with it.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: Mary kill butter, salt, sugar. There is a right answer, Okay, butter, salt, sugar.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: And we're talking like like no butter, no salt, no
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: sugar in killing it? Yes, Like like if you kill butter,
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: you can't or if you kill salt, like Ron tried
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: to have a little sneak around, you can't have.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Oh it's unsalted butter, unsalted butter.
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: Wow, Butter's gone.
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: I actually think, and I could be wrong about this,
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: but I think isn't salt the thing you actually need
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: in your diet?
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: Of those three?
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: So I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go merry salt, and
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: then I'm gonna go, Uh, this is hard. I guess
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: I'll fuck butter and I'll kill sugar.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: Is that what I is that what I had I think,
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: So I think I killed because butter.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: Will give me fat, and then I could and then
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: I could make more stuff with salt and butter, and
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: it's all it's gonna be a savory lifestyle. But uh,
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: I'm trying to cut back on my sugar anyway. And
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: if you're telling me in between fat and sugar, I
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: think fat is probably gonna, you know, based on the
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: way I live in terms of working out and stuff
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: like that, is more beneficial.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: But I didn't I didn't realize. There's also the massive
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: loophole that oil can replace butter almost all the time,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: like an olive oil.
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: Oh well, I didn't even think about that.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Or an olive oil, like in like cakes, you can
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: use oil instead of a butter.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: That's true, so or cooking. I mean yeah, in that sense,
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: if you're just saying, like I can use replacement versions
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: of any of these, well.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: You think olive oil is a replacement version of butter,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: that's a whole different category.
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: It's a whole different category.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: I think. Yeah, olive oil is always the substitute for
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: butter in everything I do.
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: Well, yeah, when you're cooking, yeah, definitely, But you're not
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: gonna have like a bagel with olive oil.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: On it actually sounds kind of I think you'd be
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: surprised how often I would.
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: I also don't put butter on my bagels.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: You know, geez or lox if I I.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Mean, I don't.
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: You're not going to have a waffle and drizzle olive
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: oil on the top. No, I guess.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: But I would have pasta and I would put olive
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: oil on the pasta instead of butter. Yeah, but I
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: also wouldn't put butter on a outd.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I think you can wind up if you keep salt,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: you can kill sugar and butter.
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree, I think that. But I think your
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: original one was you killed salt.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I was, I was. I think I was marrying butter
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: or something. What I wanted to loophole of salted butter,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: which was dirty, A dirty, dirty.
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: Game to the conclusion that salt is necessary.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: Yeah, there's this. There was this article I read a
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: long long time ago about this family that was discovered
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: out in Siberia, in the woods of Siberia, and they
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: had been living off the grid, unknown primitively for decades,
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: and I don't know if they were even registered. But
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: they tried to sort of read. They were pretty wild.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: They were feral humans, and I remember I don't know
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: how they like got lost out there, why they were
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: out there, but they were there forever. And I distinctly
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: remember that the mother said that the hardest thing for
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: her to adjust to in terms of why they when
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: they got out there and living out there, was the
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: absence of salt. Interesting, and that when she got back
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: into society, that was the thing she was most looking
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: forward to.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Yeah, there is no salt out there.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: Yeah, they couldn't they couldn't figure out salt.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what my argument was that because when my
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: dad had to get heart surgery, we had to go
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: salt free diet torture.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: That's a completely different, but argument.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: Again, what is it about salt that you need? You
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: need a certain level of it? Right? So is that
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: what it is? I don't know. There's there's something where
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: like if you don't have salt, you can start to
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: develop a deficiency or a disease. I feel like it
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: does it have to do with iron.
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: And maybe I don't know, calcium.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Perhaps maybe you just getting nasty.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: I'm gonna look this up. I have to know.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you get to the bottom of it, Me
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: and Sass will talk ball on the side.
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: No interest, Are you serious? I'm out why, I'm just
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: looking for next season.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: You're such a piece of shit, fair weather As. You
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: have to be able to talk about the losses as
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: much as the winds. You have to be able to
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: They want to feel your pain, bro, just let it out.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Did you find out the answer?
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: Well, it's called hypo neatremia is the salt efficiency and
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: it can cause muscle cramps, nausea, and vomiting, headache. Confusion,
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: disney it you know rab dough You ever heard of
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: rabdo myalysis? That's what happened to that whole TUFs LA
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: cross team or they all started like being hospitalized. But
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: I I don't know if it if it's some more
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: chronic thing or not.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Probably damn good for your heart. But Sas, you need
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: to fucking confront this about football. Yeah, you need to
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: talk about the Bills.
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: I'm down to talk ball, dude. The Grizzlies smoked the
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: Jazz on the Lake. Lebron put up a fucking a
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: game against the Yeah, Lakers beat the Warriors.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: The Warriors are fucking mid now. Yeah, low low mid honestly.
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: Still impressive. Though, it's still impressive that Lebron's able to
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: shut down Curry.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: But you don't think that Curry is gonna wind up
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: getting traded. Did you see that Houston package that they're
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: talking about. They were talking about Curry for Curry and
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Draymond for like Sengoon Greenely First, maybe I don't know
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: if they're gonna throw in Reed Shepherd, but he's been
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: playing pretty shitty.
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: He's been playing awful.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: Let's talk ball.
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: Who do you think is going to go to the
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: championship this year? Celtics are. Celtics aren't looking amazing, No,
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: but they'll they started off well, yeah, they're just having
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: a little mid season.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: They'll turn it on.
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: I mean the Calves and amazing Cads have been really strong.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Nix are I mean, they're right there.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: The Buck's not very good this year.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Well, if they wind up getting uh, Bradley Beal, that
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: would be huge for them.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: That would be big.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: We cut the charade. This is a ball podcast.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: If you want to do if you want to do
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: a bit, He's gonna fucking choke it out. He's gonna
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: hunt it down like a chicken. In the yard. But
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: if he wants to do a bit, he's gotta have
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: the fucking the biggest berth to be a.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Ye, what Well, in Sassa's defense, weirdly, I was trying
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: to do a bit with the fly rod, but he
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: didn't did embrace that to a large ext.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: But he not not earnestly. He didn't embrace the bit.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: He just likes the He likes the thing you brought in.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: He likes the toy.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Yeah, if it was like some other if you were
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: like interested in like building a vacuum or something like that,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: he wouldn't m hm, wouldn't even be able to say
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: what a vacuum is?
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: Bro spot on, you would be interested in that. If
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: Francis came in and said he was going to build
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: a vacuum, if he had a third devil, that would
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: really grab your attention.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: I didn't pretend to be interested in the fly rock.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: I'm just saying, uh, okay, Bill's chiefs.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: You have to talk about the bills. Bill's got smacked around.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes daddied up the bills. That was nasty.
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: I wouldn't say that. I would say the chiefs are
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: the better team for sure.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Right, and what you think you just had a blind spot.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: You couldn't see it all year?
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: No, I knew that was gonna happen.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I was, So why did you have us put
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: in the Bills when for the for the bet? Or
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: actually though we did that covers put in? That was genius? No,
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: I said three and a half, that was genius. The
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: no job Allen rushing touchdown killed us? Though it did,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: we were right there.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: Where do you think Josh Allen could go play on
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: a different team where he would not continue to come
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: up short as a result of other players around him
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: or coaches because this this is the however many years
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: in a row. Now we have to say it's not
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Josh Allen's fault.
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: It's not Josh Allen's fault. But at a certain point
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: is I don't I don't think there's you can't play
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: any better, He can't play any better.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: I don't play any better than Josh Allen is playing,
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: and the Bills continue to lose to the Chiefs.
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: I mean, I was talking about with Mook last night
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: and he was saying like that they like people were
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: like people are saying that they should move on from
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: Sean McDermott, which it's like I get, I get the
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: frustration and being like this happens every single year, but
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: at a certain point it's like, what what is another
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: coach gonna do? I just don't understand. How are you gonna.
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: Be three points to the best team?
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: Like the there's there's really like, yeah, Dalton king Age
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: should have caught the path. Yes, I really don't think it.
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: I don't think it was like the Mark Andrews equivalent.
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: Not at all. No, not at all. Come on, but
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: people are trying to act like that's crazy, that's that's
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: not right. No, it was a tough catch and like, yeah,
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: he should have caught it. There was a lot of
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: things that I don't understand. I just don't. There were
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: coaching decisions that just straight up didn't make sense. I mean,
- 1:10:22Speaker 5: James Cook was averaging ten yards of carry and every
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: time they were at third and one or they were
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: on the goal line, they just did it. They tried
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: to do the toush push I mean what fifteen times
- 1:10:33Speaker 5: and failed fourteen.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: Well, it's so strange that that play has been effective
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: on a ninety six percent hit rate, and all of
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: a sudden, one team figures out how to stop it.
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: But the Chiefs have one of the best d lines
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: in the NFL.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: That's true. That is true, So how.
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: Are you gonna But I just don't understand, Like, so,
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: the toush push clearly didn't work, So I don't understand
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: why you wouldn't have James Cook just run it in
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: three like he was averaging ten yards of carry, like
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: you think you wouldn't be able to get a first
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: down once, or or just run a trick play and
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: have Josh Allen run in. Haven't run it in, not
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: do a tush push.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: So you want to keep McDermott.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: No, I would keep McDermott.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Do you think it's the x'es and the o's or
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the Jimmy's and the Joe's.
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: I think it's the Jimmi's and the Joe's. I think
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: they need better Jimmis and Joe's.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: I don't know. I don't know what they need. But yeah,
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: it sucked. I mean, it sucks for the Bills. I
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: was devastated for the Bills. But I'm more just I
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: just can't believe that the Chiefs are I mean, I
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: can I mean, I don't know, I don't know what
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: to say.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: It sucks because you hate the Chiefs so much.
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: It's just not as no one wanted this, this is
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: to be the super Bowl.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: You're just actively hating on the Chiefs. You always hate
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: the Chiefs, yes, and then they still just beat the
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: team that you love the most.
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: I was like, like, that was the worst I've ever
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: taken anything ever. Like I genuinely thought I was gonna
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: have a panic attack at the end of the game.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: I couldn't breathe.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: I was so I was so tense.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Oh Black, you were standing right by the state or
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: by the screen. I saw that tweet.
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: I was standing next to the TV, and then I
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: was I mean, dude, it was. It was just like
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: because that's I think that the reason that I hurt
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: so much, because that's not how I thought it was.
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: I knew, I I deep down in my heart, I
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: knew they were gonna lose, Like I knew that I
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: knew they were. I thought they were gonna lose by
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: a field goal, which they did, but I thought it
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: was going to be like one second, walk off, fucking
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: seventy yard field goal from Budker that goes directly down
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: the middle and somehow would probably still have been good
- 1:12:33Speaker 5: from thirty more yards. I thought that's how they were
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: gonna lose. I for sure thought that the Bills were
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: gonna score on that drive.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I like believe they didn't like the Jimmy's and the Joe's. Yeah,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: or maybe it was the ex's and o's. Dude, if
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: they had just given it to Dalvin Cook, I mean
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: to James Cook.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it just doesn't It didn't make sense.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: What do you think it's the excellent and the o's
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: of the Jimmy's And.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: I've been wondering ex those Jimmy's Joe's since last night.
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: It just it didn't like the their their first drive
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: back after the half, they come down and they just
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: have James Cook just run it right down the chief's
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: throat and they could not stop James Cook. And then
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: and then it's like and then big plays happen and
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: al sudden, you got fucking Ty Johnson in the game.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: It's the same shit, Why would they have Tie Johnson?
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: And why do they have Ray Davis? Is good, but
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: why do you have Ty Johnson in the game? You
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: James Cook is one of the best running backs in
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: the NFL.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: What do you have seventeen touchdowns on the year.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: No, he'd over twenty twenty. Yeah, yeah, you had two
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: touchdowns last night games on the line. It wasn't like
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: they were it wasn't like they were on a time
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: crunch at all. If they scored, they would have gone up.
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: They could have burned the clock and run one in
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: with James Cook and ended the game. But instead you
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: got they got Josh Allen. I mean, it's every year
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: they do that. They have Josh Allen trying to play
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: fucking hero ball. He's got a blitz coming at him
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: and he's trying to make like behind the back forty
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: yard throws.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: So you just have to tip the cap to the Chiefs.
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: Great, Yeah, the head to the Chiefs. They're unstoppable.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: They're sick mm hmm. Eagles are good.
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: Though, Yeah, Eagles are good. But I mean, if if
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: the Eagles, if the Chiefs shut down Saquon, which I
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: don't even know if that's possible, you guys are fucked
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: and and I think, honestly, I think part of the
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: problem is Andy Reid is such a good.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Coach and Bagnolo their defensive coach.
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's like it's like Andy Reid going up
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: against against sirianni Is, like yeah, pretty much. Yeah, I
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: mean you're gonna need Saquon to have the greatest NFL
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: game of all time.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Would be and that would be your real come again,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: that would be your.
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: Real on your banquet beer.
- 1:14:47Speaker 5: Is everything.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: The bank, he's the banquet beer real.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: No, the rod, he's the line, the rod, the grip,
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: the real staff, he's everything.
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I love the I don't even really
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: care at this point, Like it doesn't really matter to me.
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: I'd love the Eagles to win. I don't expect the
- 1:15:07Speaker 5: Eagles to win. I expect the Chiefs to win. I
- 1:15:12Speaker 5: just didn't want the Chiefs to win, make it the
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: playoff and make it to the super Bowl, and now
- 1:15:16Speaker 5: that they're Now that they're in the super Bowl, I
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: don't see how you can stop.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Them, especially in a dome.
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: In a dome, they're such a good team and they're
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: going for.
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: A three pete.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: It seems like they're already. They're already crowning their ass.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Everybody wants to crown their ass already.
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: Because it's hard. Not it means it's hard, not.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Ya, it's hard, Not that everybody feels like they already won.
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: Look, I'm rude. I'm rooting for the Chiefs. I'm rooting
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: for the I'm not rooting for the Chiefs. I'm rooting
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: for the Eagles.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I was looking at tickets on game time. I was
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: seeing eighteen thousand dollars a ticket. I couldn't believe it.
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: Well, because me and Ron are going, do you want
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: to come? What We're going to go to the game?
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: No?
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: No, yes, we are.
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: I don't believe you.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: We're paying out of pocket though.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: I can't afford that.
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: Literally, it's not going to be We're not gonna go
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: if it's eighteen thousand dollars a ticket.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: But like you could go seven thousand. We're waiting for
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: its dip for Row forty is seven thousand in the
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: upper upper level.
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: Think about this. Think about this. You're going to the
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: Chiefs Eagles super Bowl. You're also going to see Hendrick Lamar.
- 1:16:25Speaker 5: Oh that's a good think about that ticket. I actually
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: think about that ticket.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: That's not a bad point.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's twenty three thousand for like a fifty
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: yard line. Says you gotta get it, bro, What do
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: you mean?
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: I have to get it? I'm only going if you're going.
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: I'm not gonna go by myself.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Obviously I'm going to go. You think I'm going to
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: abandon my birds.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: I like watching the Super Bowl on TV with friends
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: so much that that's.
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: A good argument.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: I actually might prefer. Yeah, I agree with that, to
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: do that over over go going to the game.
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: Yeah. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: I yeah, I think that that is one of the best,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: especially with how expensive the game is. But the chance
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: to see the Eagles win one in person, that's once
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: in a lifetime, right.
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: I just don't know if I could turn down the
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: chance to see the Chiefs lose, so just.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: As a but if they win corollary to that. So,
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: your team is the Eagles, My team is the Celtics.
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: I purchased a ticket. I don't know if I was
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: back at Barsool yet to Game six of the NBA
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: Finals Celtics Warriors. This was two years ago, three years ago,
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: and the Celtics won Game one. In Game two, yeah,
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: and it very much looked like they were going to
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: win the series, probably in six games, yeah at most.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: And if if they you know, it was either like
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: they'll have won before then, or that'll be the clinching game.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: And I paid like whatever, three thousand dollars for a
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: ticket to that hypothetical game. They then lost the next
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: three games against Golden State and we're down three to two.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: So I'm now going to a game. I've spent all
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: this money thinking I'm gonna watch them win their title,
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: big coronation confetti, and now I'm watching a they need
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: to win this to stay a live game, which they didn't.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: And I saw Golden State win the championship on an
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: away floor, which was the worst thing I've ever fucking seen.
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: It was like nothing could have been more upsetting and
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: dismal and sad, deflating. I remember Geasy was there and
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: he was a State Warriors fan and he was celebrating.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: There's just like something. I mean, now, granted Super Bowl
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: theoretically neutral ground, you're going to have whatever either way,
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: like Chiefs fans are going to be pumped. I guess
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: my point is, I never want to risk that again.
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, ever, yeah.
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: So I won't do that. Yeah.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: I was there when they lost to the Chiefs a
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: couple of years ago, and that was one of the
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: worst experiences of my life. Exactly, just and knowing that
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: you paid that much to see a loss exactly the
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: worst part. What's aas I mean, it's you're basically wallow.
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: No, it's not, though, because I don't know if I
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: could handle going and seeing the Chiefs win.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: What do you mean to handle? Why do you hate
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: them so much?
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: I just do because it's like they're already I'm already
- 1:19:42Speaker 5: I was in the bathroom before this. Are already posting
- 1:19:44Speaker 5: graphics of like Brady versus Mahomes in their first seven seasons.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: You hate them because you love Brady.
- 1:19:50Speaker 5: Oh, I love the Patriots, but you love the Bills.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: The Bills and the Patriots don't get along. They're like
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: butter and oil.
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: But I we've been over this. I like the Bills
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: because I because I met the entire team. It's hard
- 1:20:05Speaker 5: to not like the Bills after that.
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: Well, what if you met the Chiefs to say that they.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: Got No, I don't think I would want to meet
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: the Chiefs because you were afraid you'd like them. No,
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: I don't think. I think I wouldn't be able to
- 1:20:17Speaker 5: like look Patrick Mahomes in the eye and made him
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: so much and shake his hand.
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: Yeah, right, no chance bro, no chance.
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: No, I would definitely fold immediately. You're better than Brady.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: I will say. There was there was one commercial that
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: tried to, you know, be self aware featuring Patrick Mahomes
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: last night. Yeah, I saw it where they were like
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: Patrick's in every game. I'm not kidding you. The number
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: of commercials during that game that featured Patrick Mahomes was
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: something I've never seen before in any sport broadcast ever. Yeah,
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: it was so heavy handed.
- 1:20:56Speaker 5: That's why I would have been so sick for the
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: Bills to make it. And then like there's still have
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: to run the Patrick Mahomes commercials in the Super Bowl
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: and it's like, Bro, you're you're in the kank, You're
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: at Cancun right now.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: How much you extra money do you think he made
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: off of all these commercials?
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: Billions?
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: I mean State Farm must be paying him, Yeah, like
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: forty million a year?
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: What?
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: Oh my god?
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: Maybe more, I don't know.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: So his same salary that he's getting to play football,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: he's getting to just be in the commercial too.
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: Probably. Yeah, if I had to guess.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I thought it was like I thought it'd be like
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: a couple million.
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: I mean, dude, I know how much like I've heard
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: how much like people make from commercials who are nobody, right,
- 1:21:40Speaker 5: like people will make like like like comedians who like
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: booked a fucking random gig for a commercial, GA like
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: fifty K.
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: I used to do that.
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: Yeah, hey, you told me how much. I mean. I'm
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: not saying you're nobody, but.
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: Oh I wasn't when I had when I booked my
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: eight and T commercial, I wasn't nobody.
- 1:21:57Speaker 5: But also like you, but yeah, and then but then
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: even in comparison like like booking like you, now, booking
- 1:22:04Speaker 5: a commercial for AT and T is the equivalent to
- 1:22:08Speaker 5: like in comparison to Patrick Mahomes is the equivalent to
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: like a homeless person like the like. I'm not saying
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: that as in I'm not saying that as a dig
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: as you, but I'm saying that's how big Patrick Mahomes is.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: Sure, but I think the better point there is that
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: the AT and T commercial, as compared to my yearly
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: income noweah, would be commensurate with Patrick. That's why That's
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: why I think Patrick Mahomes isn't gonna waste his time
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: going to shoot multiple state farm commercials unless it's commensurate
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: with his early income.
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: It's gotta be twenty mail plus.
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: That's why I said forty.
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I think you're right.
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: And then it's probably even more because they pay you,
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: they pay you, you get royalties, residuals. They keep extending it.
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: They've been running that one with fucking Andy Reid where
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: he goes like yeah, bumble, which, by the way, I
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: find to be hilarious the most uncomfortable, Like you really
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: that to me? You brought your head coach in and
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: you and he looks like a fool. He looks like
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: a fool.
- 1:23:17Speaker 5: I disagree. That's actually probably the only one that doesn't
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: bother me.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: I hate that one. That's favor I love it.
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: I love Andy Reid going fumble, rusky, thick gil. It
- 1:23:27Speaker 5: gets me.
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: You know how you know how you know that that
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: is an embarrassing one is because Patrick Mahomes is still
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: standing on the side kind of being like this is
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: fucking bullshit.
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: Yeah, okay.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: I got his total endorsements per year as of four
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: days ago from Forbes. The total that he makes on endorsements.
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: How much I'm gonna go one hundred and fifty million
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: a year.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: Well, that seems like a lot. I'm gonna go seventy five.
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: Twenty five wrong, fake numbers, fake numbers.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Forbes is lying. Fucking he's got.
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: He's the face of State Farm and T.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: Mobile endorsement money totals about twenty five million dollars per year.
- 1:24:10Speaker 5: Dude, that's like how if you look up like how
- 1:24:12Speaker 5: much is Shane gillisworth and they're like seven hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: This is Forbes that's saying this.
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: They lie, They lie.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: Forbes is fake news.
- 1:24:20Speaker 5: They don't know the number of it. They don't have.
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: Them contracts from that's not public information right now. Contract
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: that he's signing with State Farm.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: You think he's making hundreds of millions, then he would
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: just be a billionaire, like.
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: Like Lebron's a billionaire.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but Lebron's forty. Patrick mahomes is twenty nine. Yeah,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: that's fucking nuts. Well, so leut to him. I love
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: to see a black man get paid, true love to
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: see a black man.
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: He's doing a lot for the black culture for sure,
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: with his racist wife.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: And she's very yeah, oh no, what's the what was
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: the evidence of that?
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: Nothing? Not that I don't believe there isn't any that sucks.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: I'd love to ask something to pin on her just
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: for the birds.
- 1:25:13Speaker 5: But the birds are sick, dude, Yeah, the birds are sick.
- 1:25:17Speaker 5: I wish them the best.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: I thought that you were going to be more juice
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: up about the Birds based on the furious texts you
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: were sending me trying to get to the Super Bowl?
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Am I crazy to say that the Bills need to
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: have home field advantage in order to beat the Chiefs.
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: If they do, I think it's a three point swing
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: in the other direction.
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: I think they've lost with home field advantage.
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: No, do. That game has been at Arrowhead every fucking year.
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: It was last year, not at at You might be.
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: Right, but if to me, it seems to me that
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: every year that game is that arrow.
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: I think the divisional round. Didn't the Bills get knocked
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: out of the Divisional round.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: The Ravens last year? Maybe because weren't the raven Wasn't
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: it Ravens Chiefs last year?
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: It was Ravens Chiefs last year?
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: Yeah, tough for you to remember because you were just
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: starting to watch ball.
- 1:26:06Speaker 5: Then why would that be tough for me to remember then?
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: Because you were just starting, But that means it would
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: be sharper than ever.
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: In my head, I'm probably wrong. I think it might
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: have been. It might have been it Buffalo.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: Yeah, just giving you a hard time, bro, all good.
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: I want to give you a hard time, but I can't.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: I know, I know that you've been desperate to I've
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: come in every week, win after win, just getting the
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: shit kicked out of me by you, and then suddenly
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: we have a resounding win and you pivot to basketball.
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: Look, I want to give you a hard time, but
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: I can't root against the Eagles.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: And you saw what they did too. They looked sick,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: they looked They won by thirty two points. That's who
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: you had to put respect on that.
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I mean that was a good win.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: What's your your hedging, what's your hesitation about?
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: No, I mean it's the Commanders you play who's on
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: your schedule? He plays on your schedule. But it's the
- 1:27:09Speaker 5: I mean we're talking about the Commanders versus the Chiefs
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: and the Bills.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a thirty two point win. You're supposed
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: to beat them by a lot. Yeah.
- 1:27:15Speaker 5: The Eagles did exactly what they were supposed to do.
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: That's all.
- 1:27:18Speaker 5: They got the job done.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: Do your job, do your job, Belichick.
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: I'm rooting for the Eagles. I'm rooting for Saquon for sure.
- 1:27:25Speaker 5: That's brou is a class act. Great guy. Loved his
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: postgame interview. She's blocking, job's not finished. Yeah, I loved oh,
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: loved the block, multiple blocks. Loved what's his name getting
- 1:27:40Speaker 5: in the end zone. It was simply simply.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: Ship Shipley Will Shipley.
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: I had just losing it.
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: I had team for one hundred and nineteen point five
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: yards rushing eighteen Yeah.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: Really, so gutting Vegas.
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: It was so gutting.
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: And he had a sixty yard run in the first
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: quarter and I'm like, got it.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Yeah, But then they put in the White brother. The
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: White Brother had seventy plus I had.
- 1:28:09Speaker 5: I did well yesterday. I had Saquon two touchdowns and
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: I think it was like one hundred paid out four
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: seventy five. And then I had uh and then or no,
- 1:28:19Speaker 5: it was one hundred paid out three seventy five. Oh,
- 1:28:21Speaker 5: you've been in one hundred now once it gets to
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: this time of the year.
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe I'm a little worried about our gear.
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: Off on and then and then I had James Cook
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: two touchdowns solo and that was fifty to pay four
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: to seventy five.
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: However, if the Bills won the game yesterday, we're talking
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: about generational wealth. Yeah, my payouts.
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: Would have been Budwiser out reels.
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: Yeah, we're talking like the average networth in my neighborhood
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: would have gone up.
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: Gentrifiers, yeah, gentrified the neighborhood. You're evacuating too, Yes, people
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: know you're coming. There's fires in New York. The guy
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: has hit a fifteen leg parlay.
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: I mean, just what a devastating ending list your home
- 1:29:05Speaker 5: for sale now? And then just the teas. I turned
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: it off once they once the fourth down wasn't completed.
- 1:29:12Speaker 5: I turned it off because it was like then they
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: were like games not over, and it's like it's over.
- 1:29:15Speaker 5: We know it's over. It wasn't, but you know it's
- 1:29:17Speaker 5: over because you know, Patrick Mahomes just gonna run the
- 1:29:19Speaker 5: exact same play where he just he snaps the ball
- 1:29:23Speaker 5: and then he just peels around to the side and
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: then for some reason, there's not a single person on
- 1:29:27Speaker 5: the other side. Every single time, the same exact play
- 1:29:31Speaker 5: and there's not a single person on the other side. Yeah,
- 1:29:34Speaker 5: and it's like, dude, he's not fast. Patrick Mahomes can't
- 1:29:38Speaker 5: even be top ten fastest quarterbacks in the NFL.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Definitely not but he but.
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: It's just that he's all like when he starts to scramble,
- 1:29:46Speaker 5: there is not anyone within twenty yards of him.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: He just has great hips. He reminded me of Julia,
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: same hips. They have that same hip bone. Honestly, if
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: you just blind hip, if you just set up their
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: hips like Brail, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart.
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know. I mean, dude, it's just devastating.
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: It's ruined my week. And it has nothing to do
- 1:30:07Speaker 5: with the bills.
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: Like, yeah, heard a single word you said.
- 1:30:10Speaker 5: Now, Yeah, it looked like Julia Very Brail. I heard
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: Brail Very Brail song about Brail and hips.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. It's not even about the chiefs though, No,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: it's all about the chiefs. It's not about the bills.
- 1:30:27Speaker 5: It's not about the bills. It's about the chiefs of
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: the Chiefs, right, it's whatever, you know. I mean, Drake
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: may is gonna have to be the only quarterback that's
- 1:30:35Speaker 5: gonna step up and beat the chiefs.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: Well, we were the only ones who could step up
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: and beat Jayden, who you were sucking off last week.
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: Jayden Daniels made great accomplishments this season.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: He did make great accomplishments, but gave us our credit.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: We beat him, dude.
- 1:30:50Speaker 5: Yeah, you guys played the JV team and you won
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: by forty. Congrats.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: We do what we're supposed to do.
- 1:30:58Speaker 5: I saw I read this morning, which I mean, obviously
- 1:31:01Speaker 5: I watched the game, but it is pretty funny. The
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: uh the game was. The game was twelve to fourteen,
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: and then the next time Jayden Daniels got the ball
- 1:31:09Speaker 5: it was twenty seven to twelve.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: It was an ass whipping. It was beautiful. How's your
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: ski trip?
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: It was good.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you're killing it on fucking Instagram or just the
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: videos you're making on stuff.
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: At the wall.
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: That video was so fucking funny. Which one the skiing one?
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: That one?
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: Yeah? What was the one that texted you about those?
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: The mini bar?
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: The mini bar one? That one was? I was in
- 1:31:36Speaker 5: Mouke was pissed. Mouke was not happy. I was playing
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: video games in mook last night and he was like, dude,
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: he was like, I'm so mad at Francis And I
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: was like why and he was like he was like, dude,
- 1:31:46Speaker 5: he gives me shit for getting food and then he
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: eats an entire Mini bar food. He was like, he
- 1:31:52Speaker 5: was like, that's worse than what I do. And I
- 1:31:55Speaker 5: was like, yeah, you do have a point.
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: Hold on a minute, that Mini Bar had, you know,
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: dry fruit and dark chocolate and sugar free candy and granola.
- 1:32:07Speaker 5: Sugar free candy. Dude, I've had I've been down that path.
- 1:32:11Speaker 5: That's sugar free candy.
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: It is.
- 1:32:14Speaker 5: I mean, eating one of those bags of Smart Sweets
- 1:32:17Speaker 5: or whatever they are. That's the equivalent of eating like
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: a whole bowlon a's pasta dish in terms of calories,
- 1:32:22Speaker 5: in terms of dude, the carbs on those things.
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: Fine, but here's my point. Ready, I eat my array
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: of Mini bar snacks. Yeah, mookieats his We're both eating
- 1:32:31Speaker 3: him in bed. The cleaning crew in his bedroom the
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: next day is throwing the sheets out.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: It is like tiny holes where the acid burns.
- 1:32:39Speaker 5: Yeah, it's just pure like he's wiping his cholesterol fingers
- 1:32:44Speaker 5: all over the fucking sheets.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: So but he probably got all the same amount of
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: snacks calorie wise as you did for sixteenth of the press.
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: And this is exactly what I would say. I checking
- 1:32:58Speaker 5: out was so fun.
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: My snacks were to my like I did. I had
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: the Patrick Mahomes salary of snacks to Mook's salary of snacks.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: What was your total bill on snacks? How was it that?
- 1:33:14Speaker 5: One hundred and sixteen before tax? It was unreal?
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: One hundred and sixteen before I will say, get this
- 1:33:24Speaker 3: not making any of this up, dude.
- 1:33:25Speaker 5: I could go poff like a twelve pack of diet coke,
- 1:33:29Speaker 5: but you're then enough snacks to feed me through the week.
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: You're thinking, you're thinking short term, you're thinking inside the
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: box because I just got a DM earlier today from
- 1:33:39Speaker 3: One Hotels. Hi Francis, we loved your video and would
- 1:33:43Speaker 3: love to send you some extra mini bar goodies heart
- 1:33:46Speaker 3: emoji if you're open to it. Could you please share
- 1:33:49Speaker 3: your full name and address.
- 1:33:51Speaker 5: That's good, so now you get some pucket. I was
- 1:33:54Speaker 5: staying at the one and then uh so we're going
- 1:33:58Speaker 5: to stay for the ball.
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: Also also got hit up by a guy who runs
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: the beef Jerky company and he's gonna send me a
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: package of all the beef jerky. I'm the founder CEO
- 1:34:13Speaker 3: of Think Jerky. Thank you for sharing your mini bar picks.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: With our beech turkey.
- 1:34:17Speaker 5: Send it to the office.
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: He's a big comedy fan. Uh, he asked for my
- 1:34:21Speaker 3: mailing address, and then that Nana's La Mars also hit
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: me up. So look, you know, you never know you
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: missed it.
- 1:34:29Speaker 5: That was a great zag.
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: What'd you say?
- 1:34:31Speaker 5: I said, why does he like you? Then? Oh boy,
- 1:34:35Speaker 5: that's all you're gonna give me. Oh boy, oh boy,
- 1:34:38Speaker 5: that's a great joke. Clip it.
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: You made the point. You were like, it's one hundred
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: and sixty dollars. It's worth it for if the video
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: does well. That video blew the fuck up on every
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: channel I have.
- 1:34:53Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I did say that TikTok, Instagram and Twitter.
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: But uh, there's probably like Costco families or like Dollar
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: Tree families who could go a month and like have
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: family style meals on a cool dollar six.
- 1:35:07Speaker 5: Yeah, probably not wrong. Look too bad they have nowhere
- 1:35:10Speaker 5: to a vacu.
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not judging you. I fucking have the
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: the a decade and dinner with the best of them.
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: So many people commented, like, you could have gone to
- 1:35:19Speaker 3: the store and gotten that for twenty bucks. It's like, Okay,
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: here's the scenario I was in. I arrived at the
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: hotel at ten thirty yeah. They told me that room
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: service was available until midnight. I looked at the room
- 1:35:32Speaker 3: service menu and it was like a beat salad, a hamburger,
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: you know. And I thought, okay, well that's going to
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: take forty minutes, plus I don't have any cash on
- 1:35:41Speaker 3: hand right now to tip the room service guy, which
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: I don't like.
- 1:35:47Speaker 5: When that happened was this time you got room service ages,
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: they bring a check to the door. Now that you
- 1:35:54Speaker 5: filled the tip in right there, is that right?
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: Yep? Yeah, okay, well that's good to know. I mean,
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: that was definitely a deterrent. I thought, I don't want
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: to embarrassingly have to be like I don't have any
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: cash and have him think I'm just lying.
- 1:36:07Speaker 5: So I thought some of your weed or like a
- 1:36:10Speaker 5: watch or something like, Yeah, I give him the Rolex. True,
- 1:36:14Speaker 5: I don't have a tip, so just take this. Yeah.
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: Then the guy would be like, Hi, there's a guy
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: in room one two three seven who's gonna kill himself tonight.
- 1:36:23Speaker 3: We might want to bolt his window, closed.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: A trampoline under two six seven.
- 1:36:28Speaker 5: He just tipped me fifteen thousand dollars. He didn't say,
- 1:36:31Speaker 5: but he didn't have to. He's on his way out.
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: Everything. He's ripped up by his mini bar. It's like
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: he's trash in the room.
- 1:36:40Speaker 5: I didn't.
- 1:36:41Speaker 3: I don't like eating late.
- 1:36:43Speaker 5: Yeah, you know me on that.
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: I don't like eating late. And I thought the forty
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: minutes that the room service would take versus eating the
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: mini bar snacks at that moment would be enough. And
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: it was also a thing where I wasn't planning to
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: eat all of them. Yeah, and lastly, I thought my
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: AMEX Fine Hotels and Resorts one hundred dollars resort feed credit,
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: which I get from having the Platinum Card, would apply
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: to the mini bar. So I thought I thought I
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: would cover most of that with that. That's why the
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: next day at the checkout, I asked, I was like,
- 1:37:18Speaker 3: does that the food and beverage credit?
- 1:37:20Speaker 5: Does that apply? And she said no, it's kind of
- 1:37:22Speaker 5: bullshit that it doesn't.
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: It's weird.
- 1:37:24Speaker 5: I get it.
- 1:37:24Speaker 3: I get it. Not applying to the booze. I didn't
- 1:37:26Speaker 3: touch the booze. Yeah, I could understand that, but it
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: should apply to this next. If I can apply it
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: to the food in the restaurant, why wouldn't it apply
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: to the minibar next.
- 1:37:33Speaker 5: It would have been a funnier video. You should have. Honestly,
- 1:37:35Speaker 5: at that point you should have you should have just
- 1:37:38Speaker 5: pretended that you had the booze too, because it would
- 1:37:40Speaker 5: have been hilarious. If you pulled up like seven just
- 1:37:43Speaker 5: empty fucking nips, it would have.
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: Been pretty dark. There's a lot. There was a lot
- 1:37:48Speaker 3: of booze on the mini bar. They had like a
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: bottle of Colossa azule and like half bottles of everything. Yeah,
- 1:37:55Speaker 3: there's too much.
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: Being an in shape guy who over each is also
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: that's a funny trope. If it was a fat brother
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: that did it, they wouldn't have been as kind. No,
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: people would have been.
- 1:38:07Speaker 5: Like, get your fucking self together. Yeah, people get really angry. Yeah,
- 1:38:12Speaker 5: they're so nasty.
- 1:38:13Speaker 3: It's weird to see me. Some of the sort of
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: like truther or comments. Someone was like, how long did
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: it take you to fix your hair to make it
- 1:38:22Speaker 3: look like you just woke up?
- 1:38:24Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'm like I just woke up. Yeah, I
- 1:38:28Speaker 3: took my nightguard out, wiped my lips off, and filmed
- 1:38:32Speaker 3: the video. Yeah you can hear the rasp in my voice?
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: How long did it take you to get your voice
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: just right?
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: How many cigarettes? Said you have to smoke to get
- 1:38:42Speaker 5: that early morning rasp.
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: Just the weed pen which led me to open every
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: single snack.
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: That's the best well I had.
- 1:38:53Speaker 5: I had an interesting weekend as well.
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: What happened Phoenix? How was it?
- 1:38:58Speaker 5: It was fun?
- 1:38:58Speaker 3: Do you fish?
- 1:38:59Speaker 5: No, didn't do anything, just rotted.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: Did you get fast food? Maybe?
- 1:39:06Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:39:06Speaker 5: I didn't have any fast food?
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: What'd you eat?
- 1:39:08Speaker 5: Or I guess I had dunkin donuts. Bare breakfast barely.
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: Counts for That's just that's like breathing oxygen.
- 1:39:15Speaker 5: Yeah, stayed in the condo, much more depressing than I
- 1:39:20Speaker 5: remember it being.
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's tough sober old folks home.
- 1:39:24Speaker 5: Oh really, it's an old folks home. And when I
- 1:39:27Speaker 5: was pulling up, I parked my rental car and then
- 1:39:30Speaker 5: I went up to the door. Couldn't figure out how
- 1:39:31Speaker 5: to get in because they have some updated security system
- 1:39:34Speaker 5: where you need like another pin to get just to
- 1:39:36Speaker 5: get into the building. And I'm sitting there and three
- 1:39:40Speaker 5: of the oldest women I've ever seen start approaching and
- 1:39:44Speaker 5: they see me and they're like, he's an uber eat
- 1:39:47Speaker 5: skuy should we let him in? And then I just
- 1:39:50Speaker 5: had to take it. They let me in as I
- 1:39:53Speaker 5: guess I'm an uber eats guy.
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: Why did you defend yourself?
- 1:39:56Speaker 5: I just didn't have the energy, didn't feel like it.
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: You just took their labeling.
- 1:40:01Speaker 5: And then I took the Red Eye home, so I did.
- 1:40:04Speaker 5: We had The shows were actually pretty solid, except for
- 1:40:07Speaker 5: the Saturday late show was terrible. The shows were pretty good.
- 1:40:14Speaker 5: Saturday early show was like one of the best shows
- 1:40:16Speaker 5: I've had in a while. But so I take the
- 1:40:20Speaker 5: Red Eye, and I knew it was going to be
- 1:40:24Speaker 5: like I knew it wasn't going to be the most
- 1:40:26Speaker 5: ideal situation because it had a layover. But I was
- 1:40:29Speaker 5: saying Francis before we started recording, it was like, so
- 1:40:32Speaker 5: I took a melatonin before the first flight twelve forty
- 1:40:39Speaker 5: five Phoenix.
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: To Chicago, trying to knock out.
- 1:40:43Speaker 5: Yeah, and I was like, this will be fine. I
- 1:40:45Speaker 5: was like, because then I looked and it was like
- 1:40:47Speaker 5: I was like, I'm actually only going to have like
- 1:40:48Speaker 5: twenty minutes to get to my gate. And then of
- 1:40:51Speaker 5: course we ended up getting to Chicago forty five minutes early.
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: And then I was saying, it wasn't even like, uh,
- 1:40:57Speaker 5: it wasn't even like I was like tired. It was
- 1:40:59Speaker 5: like I was in a state of shock when I
- 1:41:02Speaker 5: got to Chicago to awake, just stunned to be there. Dude, wait, like,
- 1:41:07Speaker 5: wake I wake up. Everyone's already getting off the plane.
- 1:41:10Speaker 5: You wake up. You got a spring into action immediately.
- 1:41:12Speaker 5: And then I got off the plane and it was
- 1:41:15Speaker 5: I mean, it had to have been twenty degrees in
- 1:41:16Speaker 5: the airport because it was it was empty. They just
- 1:41:18Speaker 5: weren't running the heat.
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: Damn it was freezing. I felt the same way as
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: the walkway.
- 1:41:24Speaker 5: It was like the equivalent of like if you were
- 1:41:26Speaker 5: in the middle of a nice sleep and then someone
- 1:41:28Speaker 5: was like someone woke you up and they were like,
- 1:41:30Speaker 5: you have to go stand outside for an hour and
- 1:41:32Speaker 5: it's thirty degrees outside. It was like that.
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: I got into JFK on Saturday night at one in
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: the morning. Yeah, and I was leaving the terminal and
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: outside of security there were people in the terminal sleeping
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: on the ground. Yeah.
- 1:41:54Speaker 5: Oh I had that too, not homeless, Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: Where are they going?
- 1:41:59Speaker 5: When is their flight? Why are they there? I don't know.
- 1:42:02Speaker 5: I had that exact same thing when I went to Phoenix.
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: What's the deal there? What is the deal there?
- 1:42:07Speaker 5: Are they? Are?
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: They?
- 1:42:08Speaker 3: Do they have such an early flight that they just
- 1:42:10Speaker 3: I think, to the airport and then sleep there so
- 1:42:14Speaker 3: they don't have to worry about it.
- 1:42:15Speaker 5: I think. So I've done that. I've done that. In
- 1:42:19Speaker 5: the first time I did Moontower. I went to Austin.
- 1:42:21Speaker 5: When I was flying out of Austin, my flight was
- 1:42:22Speaker 5: at five am, and I went straight to the airport
- 1:42:25Speaker 5: thinking I could just sleep in the airport, and then
- 1:42:27Speaker 5: the airport wasn't open, so I had to sleep like
- 1:42:29Speaker 5: on the floor at like baggage claim.
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: Is that where they were for you?
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, they were basically around baggage claim.
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: So you can't stay. They clear out a lot of
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: airports overnight. Huh.
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:42:42Speaker 5: I mean, oh, you mean like at gates.
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: Like you can't be in the airport overnight.
- 1:42:47Speaker 5: I don't know, because that when I when I got
- 1:42:48Speaker 5: to Phoenix for my for my red Eye, when I
- 1:42:51Speaker 5: got to the airport to leave Phoenix, there was people
- 1:42:54Speaker 5: sleeping on the floor, but they were outside of TSA,
- 1:42:59Speaker 5: And then I just and there was no line at TSA,
- 1:43:01Speaker 5: and I went and I got through and I was like,
- 1:43:02Speaker 5: why are they all out there? But I guess it's
- 1:43:05Speaker 5: because like all of the restaurants and the stores and
- 1:43:07Speaker 5: stuff on the inside are closed at that hour.
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: I remember as a we lad, I read a book
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: about a boy and his dad who lived at the airport.
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: But this is obviously pre nine to eleven. Yeah, but
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: I guess homeless people could just post up at the
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: airport if you just kind of looked put together enough.
- 1:43:21Speaker 5: It's pretty crazy how they sleep. Like I saw I
- 1:43:23Speaker 5: saw a couple of dudes just banging out like the
- 1:43:25Speaker 5: full like one of these like in between two chairs,
- 1:43:29Speaker 5: like ass is fully in the air, like you're just
- 1:43:32Speaker 5: doing a full ab work out, like you're being held
- 1:43:37Speaker 5: up by your the back of your head and your
- 1:43:40Speaker 5: the and your heels and then everything else is in
- 1:43:42Speaker 5: the air. Can you think, like the ghost just an
- 1:43:47Speaker 5: insane way to sleep.
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: Can you think, off the top of your head right now,
- 1:43:52Speaker 3: the most uncomfortable in a sort of off, non ideal
- 1:43:58Speaker 3: place that you've ever slept in your life?
- 1:44:00Speaker 5: Yeah, right right away immediately.
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: And you some are coming to mind, but I don't
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: know the object worst.
- 1:44:06Speaker 5: But I did a sleep away camp when I was
- 1:44:10Speaker 5: probably in fifth grade or sixth grade maybe, and it
- 1:44:13Speaker 5: was it was kind of like a traveling camp. Like
- 1:44:16Speaker 5: we would. We were It was like we would go
- 1:44:17Speaker 5: all around New England and like a van and h
- 1:44:20Speaker 5: one of the one of the stops we were at,
- 1:44:22Speaker 5: we were at like a campsite, and we slept in
- 1:44:25Speaker 5: a what is it called a lean to? Is that
- 1:44:28Speaker 5: what it's called? Like a wooden thing? And my sleeping
- 1:44:31Speaker 5: bag was like in the corner towards the end, and
- 1:44:34Speaker 5: it started pouring in the middle of the night, and
- 1:44:36Speaker 5: I woke up and I was soaking wet. It's like
- 1:44:39Speaker 5: like two in the morning, sopping wet. There was a
- 1:44:41Speaker 5: hole like a crack in the lean to right only
- 1:44:45Speaker 5: on my corner. All of my bags are wet, my
- 1:44:47Speaker 5: sleeping bag is wet. I'm soaking wet, and there's just
- 1:44:50Speaker 5: nothing I could do. I just had to sleep soaking
- 1:44:53Speaker 5: wet the whole night.
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: Nasty. What's yours?
- 1:44:58Speaker 3: One time I slept I was in Normandy, like Brittany, France,
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: and I had this kid who had been kind of like,
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: I don't want to say, a pen pal. We'd been
- 1:45:14Speaker 3: emailing and I'd been introduced to him by He was
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: like the nephew of this There was this French immersion
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: school in Maine near my house. That I grew up
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: at where I used to go volunteer because we needed
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: volunteer community service hours in order to graduate from high school,
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: not because I was in trouble or anything like that.
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: And so I'd gotten to known the director and he
- 1:45:37Speaker 3: had a nephew, and he was like, why don't you
- 1:45:38Speaker 3: guys both do in exchange. He'll come visit you. So
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: I went to see him, and this guy was awesome,
- 1:45:44Speaker 3: great kid. I was probably seventeen, and I went to
- 1:45:48Speaker 3: his house and we went to a party at a
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: house out in the country and it was a small
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: stone house, a classic like Brittany Normandy type house, and
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: everybody like the parents had left the house for the
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: night and knew the kids were having a party and
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: that's what they would do and everyone would sleep there
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: and everyone just like slept on the floor. Yeah, this
- 1:46:10Speaker 3: whole There was probably thirty five people at this party.
- 1:46:12Speaker 3: Everyone got super banged up, and I went up to
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: the attic where it was like creaky floorboards, and I
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: slept under the eaves of the attic on the hard floor,
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: face up like like like and Frank, I mean, it
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: was it was the worst.
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: There was anything under your head, no, no, pillow.
- 1:46:36Speaker 5: I've had a couple. I've had a couple of hard I.
- 1:46:38Speaker 3: Felt like waking up. I felt like I was waking
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: up from like a car accident, Like I didn't know
- 1:46:45Speaker 3: how I'd gotten there, why I was in so much pain.
- 1:46:48Speaker 3: And I'd also taken a bongd rip of loose leaf tobacco.
- 1:46:54Speaker 5: Oh that's never good.
- 1:46:55Speaker 3: And I threw up from that. I threw up from that.
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: Why are the French making American brother do that?
- 1:47:01Speaker 5: Because they had run out of hashish?
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: Yeah, well, why would you make it? Why would you
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: bong it?
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: Because they had the bong.
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 1:47:08Speaker 5: I remember my friends where we hit a bong of
- 1:47:11Speaker 5: tobacco and just everyone was just throwing up. You don't
- 1:47:15Speaker 5: get fucked up like that, it was I did, Oh, yeah, happily.
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: I mean, like you don't get like it's not like
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: a party drug. It's not like you're like smoking weed.
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: But it is.
- 1:47:24Speaker 5: For about a half a second.
- 1:47:26Speaker 3: They had been doing it with with little bits of
- 1:47:29Speaker 3: the hash in it, and then they had run out
- 1:47:31Speaker 3: and they were like, just try it anyway. I mean,
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: I wasn't even I wasn't a tobacco guy ever, So.
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: That that's the worst way to do it sent me
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: to the moon.
- 1:47:41Speaker 5: Yeah, that's so cool smoking tobacco out of a bong.
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: It's just like, that's the worst.
- 1:47:45Speaker 5: It's only something you would do when you're in your
- 1:47:47Speaker 5: teens and it it when you get older. It's just
- 1:47:50Speaker 5: something that it in no way makes sense at all.
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: It's just like a mad lives of like kind of dirty,
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: fucked up.
- 1:47:56Speaker 3: I mean, if I were to do it again and
- 1:47:57Speaker 3: I had to do it again, I would just sip
- 1:47:59Speaker 3: it out little.
- 1:48:00Speaker 5: But no, like, there's literally not a single reason as
- 1:48:03Speaker 5: to why someone should do a bong hit up.
- 1:48:06Speaker 3: Certainly not clearing now, you shouldn't be clearing the just
- 1:48:12Speaker 3: little tiny SIPs like you're sipping.
- 1:48:13Speaker 5: A tequila tobacco hit of a bong.
- 1:48:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that was the worst for me. I'm pretty sure.
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: I think I was at Bonnaroo and I was just
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: I think I was maddled off with some bad things
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: and just trying to go to sleep in the back
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: of a car and that they're not being enough space
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: so you go into a tent and then just laying
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: in a tent and it's like one hundred and three
- 1:48:35Speaker 1: degrees out at like four or five in the morning,
- 1:48:39Speaker 1: just being super hungover and it's just you're sweating. You
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: wake up just drenched and.
- 1:48:43Speaker 3: Sweat right away, right away. That's the worst to me,
- 1:48:47Speaker 3: what you of all three of our stories.
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: That was nice.
- 1:48:49Speaker 3: Simply by regard of you of the heat.
- 1:48:53Speaker 1: The heat is.
- 1:48:54Speaker 3: Sleeping is beyond believe.
- 1:48:57Speaker 5: We had some rough ones in eve when we went
- 1:48:59Speaker 5: to Wyoming over the summer, there were some rough sleeps.
- 1:49:01Speaker 5: But it's also I feel like it doesn't really count
- 1:49:03Speaker 5: as much because you're expecting it, like when you're going
- 1:49:07Speaker 5: on a week camping trip. Yeah, I'm not gonna get
- 1:49:09Speaker 5: this isn't gonna be like a great sleep every night, right,
- 1:49:11Speaker 5: But we had the first night we were there, it
- 1:49:13Speaker 5: was ninety eight degrees and we were it was in
- 1:49:15Speaker 5: a we're in a desert in a canyon, and we
- 1:49:19Speaker 5: got in the like it was hot all day and
- 1:49:23Speaker 5: it was kind of like whatever. And then we got
- 1:49:24Speaker 5: in the tent and we never really like thought about
- 1:49:27Speaker 5: how hot the tent would be, and we got in
- 1:49:29Speaker 5: there and like within three minutes everyone was outside. It
- 1:49:33Speaker 5: is it is two hundred degrees.
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: It's so hot intense, which I guess is good if
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: you're in a cold scenario.
- 1:49:41Speaker 5: Yeah, it ended up being helpful later in the week.
- 1:49:43Speaker 5: But we we cowboy camped that night. We just slept
- 1:49:46Speaker 5: on the ground outside. But again, we were in a
- 1:49:50Speaker 5: desert in a can and there's a canyon. It was
- 1:49:53Speaker 5: the wind was like fifty miles per hour, so you'd
- 1:49:56Speaker 5: be sleeping, yeah, and then just like a gust of
- 1:49:58Speaker 5: like the most strong as wind and there's like sand
- 1:50:02Speaker 5: flying everywhere, just buffeting it, slapping.
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:50:07Speaker 5: So that one was bad. And then we had another
- 1:50:09Speaker 5: one later in the trip where it was like fifteen
- 1:50:11Speaker 5: degrees outside and we were sleeping next to a river.
- 1:50:14Speaker 5: And that was one where like I remember waking up
- 1:50:16Speaker 5: in the morning. It was one of those ones where
- 1:50:18Speaker 5: you wake up in the morning and you haven't moved
- 1:50:21Speaker 5: an inch from the position that you went van and
- 1:50:25Speaker 5: you wake up and you're like, dude, like you're I
- 1:50:27Speaker 5: remember everything was wet because of the condensation because it
- 1:50:31Speaker 5: was so cold, but like our body temperatures just like,
- 1:50:33Speaker 5: oh it was nasty. That was a pretty bad one.
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: I need to just throw this out there really quick.
- 1:50:38Speaker 3: If anyone out there happens to be a like a
- 1:50:41Speaker 3: real estate attorney or knows how to turn a personal
- 1:50:45Speaker 3: home into an LLC as a potential rental opportunity. Please
- 1:50:50Speaker 3: dyet me.
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: All right, any tax fraud do you want to commit?
- 1:50:57Speaker 3: Need some help on that, Need some help on that.
