- 0:05Speaker 1: The problem. Today, we have Spencer who needs to know
- 0:09Speaker 1: if he's the problem. The sitch is you send us
- 0:12Speaker 1: your side of the story and we let you know
- 0:15Speaker 1: if you're in the right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 0:18Speaker 1: We got this one by way of voice memo texted
- 0:22Speaker 1: to us at seven oh one two eight one nine
- 0:24Speaker 1: eight seven. So if you ever want to know if
- 0:26Speaker 1: you're the problem, and you don't want to send an
- 0:28Speaker 1: email or a submission form, just give us a voice memo.
- 0:33Speaker 1: He I'm not going to explain it any further. Spencer
- 0:36Speaker 1: can say it best.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think we find Spencer going off the
- 0:40Speaker 2: rails a little bit.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Yeah, take a listen to this.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Hi, guys, I love your show. I'm calling because recently
- 0:46Speaker 4: I made the switch from ice cream to frozen yogurt.
- 0:50Speaker 4: I'm trying to lose some weight and frozen yogurt has
- 0:54Speaker 4: less calories and has less fat, so I can still
- 0:57Speaker 4: get my my sweet tooth on, right, So I go
- 1:00Speaker 4: over to Twoty Fruity I.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Get a half cup of frozen yogurt.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Now, I don't know what you guys are like, but
- 1:05Speaker 4: I don't understand people who can just eat frozen yogurt plane.
- 1:08Speaker 4: I can't do it. I gotta have something on top.
- 1:12Speaker 4: So I pull out my my Fitness Pal app and
- 1:15Speaker 4: it says I can have thirty seven sprinkles, not thirty
- 1:18Speaker 4: eight thirty seven. So I'm like fourteen fifteen sixteen, and
- 1:23Speaker 4: the woman behind me with their four snotty kids are like,
- 1:28Speaker 4: what are you doing? And I'm like, I'm kind of.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Hurry up, and I'm like trying to ignore. So I'm
- 1:34Speaker 3: like twenty five, twenty six, Oh, what.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Are you doing?
- 1:38Speaker 4: And you know I would have stepped out of line,
- 1:43Speaker 4: but it looked like they were running out of Reese's pieces,
- 1:45Speaker 4: and I'm allowed seven of those, and frankly, frozen yogurt
- 1:49Speaker 4: without at least the tablespoon of the crumbled up kitkats
- 1:52Speaker 4: is not It's inedible pretty much, okay, So I'm I'm
- 1:56Speaker 4: the bad guy because Brenda and her kids can't inhale
- 2:00Speaker 4: enough frozen yogurt this instant. They can't wait for me
- 2:03Speaker 4: because I'm trying to better myself, because I'm trying to
- 2:07Speaker 4: live a healthier life. Suddenly I'm the bad guy because
- 2:11Speaker 4: I want to make sure I know what's going into
- 2:12Speaker 4: my stomach.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So it spence the problem which I I love that
- 2:19Speaker 2: I that we were able to get his real reaction
- 2:22Speaker 2: right there.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm team Spencer.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Are you really?
- 2:26Speaker 1: I'm team Spencer because people aren't patient enough these days.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Huh, Okay, we're gonna we'll dive more into this in
- 2:34Speaker 2: about five minutes.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Here.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Who is the problem? Do you think?
- 2:37Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven
- 2:40Speaker 2: you are team Spencer? Wow, all right, we'll have more
- 2:43Speaker 2: very soon. I'm big ninety eight point seven.
- 2:50Speaker 1: The problem is Spencer wants to know if he's the
- 2:53Speaker 1: problem in this situation. He went to Touty Fruity to
- 2:57Speaker 1: get some frozen yogurt, and when he was getting his
- 3:00Speaker 1: he was very meticulous and taking his time because he's
- 3:03Speaker 1: put himself on a diet and so there's only a
- 3:06Speaker 1: certain amount of toppings he can have, so it's taking
- 3:09Speaker 1: him a little bit longer. Yeah, there was a woman
- 3:12Speaker 1: behind him with her four kids who was very impatient
- 3:16Speaker 1: and pressuring him to move out of the way and
- 3:20Speaker 1: like to keep it pushing. So he wants to know
- 3:22Speaker 1: if he's the problem for taking his time or if
- 3:25Speaker 1: she's the problem for being impatient. Also, in the retelling
- 3:29Speaker 1: of this, I'm realizing I'm phrasing it pretty biased.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Because I am team Spencer.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I cannot believe that this woman was so pressed about
- 3:41Speaker 1: the frozen yogurt and getting her toppings and her kids
- 3:44Speaker 1: toppings out of the way, like, calm down, How long
- 3:48Speaker 1: really could it have been taking him to put the
- 3:50Speaker 1: toppings on?
- 3:51Speaker 5: I think it's not that big a deal.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And let's not act I have kids, okay, and I've
- 3:57Speaker 1: got two of them. Let's not act like four kids
- 4:01Speaker 1: would be particularly efficient and quick and putting the toppings
- 4:05Speaker 1: on their frozen yogurt. Had he been standing behind her
- 4:08Speaker 1: in line instead, if he.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Would have pressured her like, uh, what did he call her? Brenda?
- 4:13Speaker 1: I don't know that that was her real name, but
- 4:15Speaker 1: if he was like, Brenda, can you and your kids
- 4:17Speaker 1: hurry up? Then he would have been the villain. And
- 4:20Speaker 1: so I think she's the villain in this scenario.
- 4:23Speaker 2: What do you think, Gabe, You are out of your
- 4:27Speaker 2: gott dang mind if you think anybody is going to
- 4:32Speaker 2: sit behind you and watch you count thirty seven sprinkles. Okay, Spencer,
- 4:37Speaker 2: I'm glad you're trying to better yourself. I'm glad you're
- 4:40Speaker 2: on a diet or whatever. I need you to diet
- 4:43Speaker 2: your booty about four feet to the right so I
- 4:45Speaker 2: can get to the register. Please, for the love of God,
- 4:48Speaker 2: I have places to be, things to do.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Move, get out of the way.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Who's aside are you on? Seven oh one two, eight
- 4:57Speaker 1: oh one nine eight seven? Is Spencer? The problem blum
- 5:01Speaker 1: Or is the lady behind him with the four kids?
- 5:03Speaker 2: The problem counting sprinkles is ridiculous.
- 5:06Speaker 5: He had to put it in his my fitness pal.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I just thought of this little victory. Holy smokes, am
- 5:16Speaker 2: I glad? I looked at the calendar not two seconds agood?
- 5:22Speaker 3: Do you have a little victory for us today?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Joe?
- 5:25Speaker 5: Why do you do this to me? I want to
- 5:27Speaker 5: hear your spurs.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I just realized this today.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Nine years ago, I would have asked Corey to be
- 5:34Speaker 2: my girlfriend. I have officially been partnered up with that
- 5:38Speaker 2: lady for nine years.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I just remembered that two seconds ago, and she did
- 5:43Speaker 3: mention it yesterday.
- 5:44Speaker 2: We did kind of talk about it, and I was like, yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 2: but that one doesn't really count anymore, right because they're
- 5:48Speaker 2: kind of married, So that's the only one I really
- 5:49Speaker 2: pay attention to.
- 5:50Speaker 5: But that's sweet.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Are you one of those did you guys have like
- 5:53Speaker 1: a long talking stage or you asked her to be your.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Girlfriend, like right away.
- 5:58Speaker 3: No, I was somewhere in the middle.
- 6:00Speaker 2: It was probably like a month, oh three weeks, so
- 6:02Speaker 2: not like super long, but it wasn't like.
- 6:04Speaker 5: No, but you clearly knew. Yeah.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Yeah, So I just remembered that not four seconds ago.
- 6:09Speaker 2: That's a great little victory.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it led to like a lifelong marriage.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I think I don't think y'all are splitting anytime soon.
- 6:17Speaker 2: That means I'm gonna have to change my good morning text.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I think, oh, yeah, I can see, but no, pretty cool.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I just remembered that, So I love that.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Yeah, my little bit. You know what, now in comparison,
- 6:31Speaker 5: boy does this pale. However, it is.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Little victory, so I still think it counts. Yesterday, after
- 6:39Speaker 1: we were done with the show, we were in your
- 6:40Speaker 1: office and we were, you know, prepping and doing the
- 6:43Speaker 1: podcast and everything, and I said to you, I really
- 6:47Speaker 1: want a Fountain soda.
- 6:50Speaker 3: It really was just one of those like I could
- 6:52Speaker 3: use this, I could.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Use this right now, And I didn't think I was
- 6:55Speaker 1: gonna go get one, but then I did. I got
- 6:58Speaker 1: myself a cherry vanilla, a Coke zero and it was
- 7:02Speaker 1: everything I could have ever wanted.
- 7:04Speaker 3: That is awesome.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Yeah, a little victory for showing that is the definition
- 7:09Speaker 2: of a little victory. Yeah, you know, had my little
- 7:12Speaker 2: had it not been August twentieth today, my little victory
- 7:15Speaker 2: was going to be something very small. Corey and I
- 7:18Speaker 2: found a show we're both interested in and now watching.
- 7:20Speaker 3: But I found nice.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I feel like that kind of pales compared to being
- 7:25Speaker 2: I don't know, linked up for nine years.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I love that, But now, what's the show?
- 7:29Speaker 2: The show is called high Town and it was on
- 7:32Speaker 2: it was on Stars before and now it's on Netflix.
- 7:35Speaker 2: And it's like it's very good. It's like we're both
- 7:39Speaker 2: very interested. We want to see what happens. Who done
- 7:41Speaker 2: it kind of thing or whatever? Oh okay, you do
- 7:43Speaker 2: kind of watch and you're like, oh, like this started
- 7:44Speaker 2: on Stars. I get it. Today is the twentieth, Tomorrow
- 7:53Speaker 2: is the twenty first. That means there are some I
- 7:55Speaker 2: believe Wes Fargo kids gearing up for their first day
- 7:58Speaker 2: of school.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and I know as parents, we have a lot
- 8:04Speaker 1: of like anxiety when the school year starts, Like you
- 8:07Speaker 1: want your kid to have a good school year.
- 8:09Speaker 5: There's a lot to think about and be worried about.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you want them to make friends, you want them
- 8:14Speaker 2: to get along with kids, do well in school, maybe
- 8:17Speaker 2: you know, make a couple of friends, get along with
- 8:19Speaker 2: their teachers.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that goes into it exactly.
- 8:22Speaker 1: But then I was thinking, Okay, but I know what
- 8:24Speaker 1: I'm worried about.
- 8:25Speaker 5: What are my kids actually worried about?
- 8:29Speaker 1: And we asked you on the Big ninety eight point
- 8:30Speaker 1: seven Facebook page, what are your kids worried about for
- 8:33Speaker 1: the upcoming school year? I asked both of my kids
- 8:38Speaker 1: what they are worried for this year, and I had
- 8:41Speaker 1: them like, I recorded their answers. Yeah, so this is
- 8:44Speaker 1: what Liam is worried about.
- 8:46Speaker 2: This is your eight year old, eight year old you'll
- 8:48Speaker 2: be going into is it third grade?
- 8:50Speaker 3: Grade? Third grade? All right, I'm worried if my teacher
- 8:53Speaker 3: is not going to be good.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I think that that is extremely relatable for any kid
- 9:00Speaker 2: in any grade.
- 9:01Speaker 3: I get along with my teacher exactly.
- 9:04Speaker 5: He was a new kid last year.
- 9:07Speaker 1: My kids started after spring break, so he started in
- 9:11Speaker 1: the middle or close to the end of the school year,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and he didn't really.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Yes, and he.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Didn't really click with his teacher, and there was nothing
- 9:22Speaker 1: wrong with her as a teacher, but you know, you
- 9:24Speaker 1: don't always click. It happens, and so I think, Yeah.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I was like, oh, I get it that you're concerned
- 9:29Speaker 1: about that, but fingers crossed, it'll be fine. Yeah, And
- 9:32Speaker 1: so I asked Aiden, who's starting high school. I can't
- 9:37Speaker 1: even believe that. I feel like I've blinked and he's
- 9:39Speaker 1: a grown man. I asked him what he's worried about
- 9:42Speaker 1: for the school year.
- 9:43Speaker 4: I'm worried that I am going to fail my classes.
- 9:48Speaker 3: When I had heard that earlier, I kind of laughed.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I was like, well, that right there, probably will mean
- 9:53Speaker 2: that you won't fail your classes. If you care enough
- 9:56Speaker 2: that you're worried about it, right, it's probably going I'm
- 9:59Speaker 2: not saying you're gonna ge straight a's or whatever, but
- 10:01Speaker 2: you'll probably do a lot better than if you don't care.
- 10:03Speaker 5: He better gets stridded. No, he's a great student.
- 10:07Speaker 1: He's always gotten a's and b's, but mostly a's, And
- 10:11Speaker 1: I know that high school is a big transition though,
- 10:13Speaker 1: but I'm not, Oh, what.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Did you get, girl? I was more of a b's
- 10:17Speaker 3: and c's kind of Oh.
- 10:18Speaker 5: That's okay. You had a good career.
- 10:20Speaker 3: You're fight.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Yeah, unless I was into the subject that you know,
- 10:24Speaker 2: then you do obviously you do well and the things
- 10:25Speaker 2: you're excited about and you want to learn, YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 10:28Speaker 3: But generally I was more of a B student.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Well, your past, that's all that matters. I told Aiden.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I was like, I think the fact that you're concerned
- 10:37Speaker 1: about it, I know that you will work hard to
- 10:39Speaker 1: especially because if he doesn't, he's grounded. No. I always
- 10:43Speaker 1: tell the kids that I just want them to do
- 10:46Speaker 1: their absolute best. So if their absolute best lands them
- 10:50Speaker 1: a C, then I'm happy with that. But as long
- 10:53Speaker 1: as you try, Yeah, as long as they try. But
- 10:55Speaker 1: if they're getting c's and I know they're capable of
- 10:58Speaker 1: more and they're just being lazy, that's where we have
- 11:00Speaker 1: a problem.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Sarah said that she her kid is just worried that.
- 11:04Speaker 1: She'll yell something embarrassing when he gets dropped off at
- 11:08Speaker 1: high school on the first day.
- 11:10Speaker 3: I saw that. I love that.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Is there an animal that you secretly wish you could
- 11:26Speaker 2: have as a pet, but you normally only find it
- 11:28Speaker 2: in the wild.
- 11:29Speaker 5: Kala. I love koalas. I think they're so cute.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I've loved them since I was a child. I love koalas.
- 11:39Speaker 1: That's a a bucket list item because at the places
- 11:41Speaker 1: you can visit and like hold a koala.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they warn you about that though, what
- 11:47Speaker 2: do you mean? Yeah, koalas have like chlamydia affects a
- 11:53Speaker 2: lot of koalas. That's true. I'm not making Yeah, that
- 11:56Speaker 2: is very true. I think they warn you about that.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I think I know what you're talking about, like an
- 11:59Speaker 2: Australian gu Yeah, yeah, I think.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Well, I'm not going to hook up with the koala,
- 12:04Speaker 1: like I just want, no hope.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Not seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Is there an animal that you wish, maybe was a
- 12:14Speaker 2: wild animal that you're you know what, I'd like to
- 12:17Speaker 2: have that as a pet. We are pro animal here
- 12:19Speaker 2: on Big ninety eight point seven. And it's so hard.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Do you remember that time we were driving and we saw
- 12:23Speaker 2: those little foxes. Yes, it's so hard to not be.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Like, oh, that'd be such a cute addition to my
- 12:29Speaker 3: house until about in like a month, and then I'd
- 12:32Speaker 3: hate it. Yeah, what do foxes do hang out? I can't,
- 12:36Speaker 3: I mean just wild animals?
- 12:39Speaker 5: Well, what does the fox say? Do you remember?
- 12:42Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:42Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, when we were talking about this yesterday as
- 12:45Speaker 2: kind of going through you know what I would love truly,
- 12:48Speaker 2: I need something really slow. All right, give me one
- 12:50Speaker 2: of those big giant tortoises you see at the zoo.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Oh I thought you were gonna go with a sloth.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Oh, sure, I'll take that too. I just I don't
- 12:57Speaker 2: want anything fidgety and twitchy. I'm already kind of like that. Yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 2: so we can't have two of those underwah.
- 13:02Speaker 5: That's right. Balance balance.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I want a big giant tortoise. I think that'd be great.
- 13:06Speaker 2: They're easy to well to not lose concern like run away,
- 13:15Speaker 2: you know. Yeah, and I think they're kind of easy
- 13:17Speaker 2: to feed.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I think so are you. Would you actually get a tortoise?
- 13:22Speaker 1: I feel like that's not that wild of an animal.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I feel like you could go to the pet store
- 13:26Speaker 1: and get wise.
- 13:27Speaker 2: You could probably get a little turtle, but I don't
- 13:29Speaker 2: know if you could get a big okay.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Like the huge one.
- 13:32Speaker 1: You know what. At one time I saw a guy,
- 13:34Speaker 1: This is very true. I saw a guy walking a
- 13:37Speaker 1: huge tortoise on a leash, and he was.
- 13:39Speaker 5: Crossing the street where this was in Vegas. This was
- 13:42Speaker 5: in Vegas.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that sounds like tortoise having area.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Trevor, If you could have a wild
- 13:50Speaker 2: pet as an animal, what would it be, Man, I
- 13:52Speaker 2: would love to.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Have a monkey as a pet. That would be amazing,
- 13:55Speaker 5: A little monkey that could with me and just chill.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I mean that's a dream right there.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I think he's a Friends fan because Ross had Marcel
- 14:03Speaker 1: the Little Monkey. Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure Justin Bieber like talked about wanting a monkey.
- 14:10Speaker 5: And did Michael Jackson have bubbles or something?
- 14:13Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you're yeah, yeah, all right, we have Kelsey. Kelsey.
- 14:17Speaker 3: What about you? What wild animal would you want as
- 14:20Speaker 3: a pet?
- 14:21Speaker 2: I think I take a fox.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I mean they're small enough to handle, They're clever.
- 14:24Speaker 1: And mischievous, and there's just the right mix of wild
- 14:28Speaker 1: and cuddly.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Basically a dog with the streak. Yeah.
- 14:31Speaker 5: I really enjoy that description of a fox.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I would not necessarily advise you, by the way, just
- 14:39Speaker 2: randomly taking a fox and bringing it into you.
- 14:41Speaker 5: You know what. I did bring a fox into my home,
- 14:43Speaker 5: a silver fox. His name is Mikey.
- 14:50Speaker 2: And we've talked a lot about the kid als going
- 14:52Speaker 2: back to school, but we can't forget there are some
- 14:55Speaker 2: college kids school very soon.
- 14:58Speaker 3: North Dakota State University.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Getting there fall semester basically this week. Oh wow, yeah,
- 15:05Speaker 2: move in day classes begin all that stuff.
- 15:07Speaker 5: That's very exciting.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Or maybe it's next early next week, one of the two.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I'll have to double check. But either way, it's right
- 15:13Speaker 2: around the corner, is my point.
- 15:14Speaker 1: And so a lot of people I know that you
- 15:16Speaker 1: follow this on Facebook. You the ends U Roomi's Facebook account, right, Yeah.
- 15:25Speaker 2: So when I first started here, and you know you
- 15:27Speaker 2: we have the big ninety eight point seven page, I
- 15:29Speaker 2: would see all these NDSU roomies things and I was like, hey,
- 15:32Speaker 2: this is kind of cool. Why didn't I know about
- 15:34Speaker 2: this when I was younger. I think it was a
- 15:36Speaker 2: little different, or maybe it just wasn't as popular. But
- 15:38Speaker 2: there's someone always looking for a roommate, it seems with
- 15:42Speaker 2: NDSU roommates. So if you ever need a place to live,
- 15:45Speaker 2: that is definitely a great place to start.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Yeah, cause sometimes like if you didn't get into the
- 15:49Speaker 1: dorms right and you're looking for a roommate and you're like,
- 15:52Speaker 1: where do I even start? NDSU roomies that has other
- 15:55Speaker 1: people who go to NDSU, So I think that's where
- 15:58Speaker 1: to look. But you also have to be like very
- 16:00Speaker 1: careful about a roommate situation because sometimes.
- 16:04Speaker 5: They're a nightmare. Were you roommates with anyone before.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I've always was always pretty lucky. So my buddy
- 16:11Speaker 2: Tyler and I lived together for a while, and we
- 16:15Speaker 2: were just really cool and chill about things and didn't
- 16:17Speaker 2: really get all up in arms. And then he got
- 16:20Speaker 2: a girlfriend so most of the time he would just
- 16:21Speaker 2: stay at her house must be, so we didn't worry
- 16:25Speaker 2: about it too much. And then I lived with some
- 16:26Speaker 2: other buddies for a little bit, and then Corey and
- 16:28Speaker 2: I moved in together after like three or four years
- 16:31Speaker 2: or whatever.
- 16:31Speaker 3: So I've always been kind of lucky.
- 16:33Speaker 2: The only times I've really had roommate horror stories is
- 16:35Speaker 2: with my own wife.
- 16:37Speaker 3: No, I'm.
- 16:39Speaker 1: You know what, though, I had a roommate horror story
- 16:42Speaker 1: with my best friend, and thankfully it was short lived,
- 16:46Speaker 1: because I don't know that.
- 16:47Speaker 5: We would have been we would still be best friends.
- 16:50Speaker 5: But there was a.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Time and I already I started having kids when I
- 16:53Speaker 1: was like five.
- 16:54Speaker 5: No, I mean I was young.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I already had a kid when I was By the
- 16:57Speaker 1: time I was twenty three, I had Aiden, and then
- 17:00Speaker 1: I was pregnant with Liam, and she was just like
- 17:04Speaker 1: in between Lee situations, and I had an extra room
- 17:07Speaker 1: in my house and I was like, why don't you
- 17:09Speaker 1: just move in here for a little bit, And we
- 17:11Speaker 1: had different work schedules whatever.
- 17:13Speaker 5: I didn't think it would be an issue.
- 17:15Speaker 1: The only rule though, that I had was don't like
- 17:19Speaker 1: eat or drink in your room.
- 17:22Speaker 5: I don't. I just don't like that.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I feel like that is just asking for bugs, like
- 17:26Speaker 1: if you forget something and you leave it in there,
- 17:28Speaker 1: like it's gross.
- 17:29Speaker 5: And she was like, yeah, absolutely, no problem.
- 17:32Speaker 1: And then you know, for the first few weeks it
- 17:34Speaker 1: was fine, and then I was missing forks, like I
- 17:39Speaker 1: just didn't have any forks, and I thought, okay, that's weird,
- 17:42Speaker 1: where are the forks?
- 17:43Speaker 5: And then glasses were.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Missing, and I thought, what what Why is all my
- 17:49Speaker 1: like cutlery and still going missing?
- 17:53Speaker 5: And in my thought process wasn't like well.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I immediately got to ask her because I just it
- 17:57Speaker 1: didn't compute in my brain that she would take this.
- 18:00Speaker 1: So I asked her like, hey, do you have any
- 18:02Speaker 1: like forks or glasses in your room? And she said no,
- 18:05Speaker 1: and I was like okay. So then when she was
- 18:08Speaker 1: at work, and like, technically, this is my house. I
- 18:11Speaker 1: sure went into that room, and not only did she
- 18:14Speaker 1: have several glasses, she had forks in the glasses, which
- 18:20Speaker 1: I thought, what is this?
- 18:21Speaker 5: It looked like she was making instant.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Coffee and then starring it with a fork instead of
- 18:27Speaker 1: a spoon.
- 18:28Speaker 5: I don't know what that was.
- 18:30Speaker 1: And they were just all piled up in her room
- 18:32Speaker 1: and then like food wrappers everywhere, and.
- 18:35Speaker 5: I thought, what a monster I have let.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Wait in my home because it was literally only one rule,
- 18:42Speaker 1: just don't eat or drink in the room.
- 18:44Speaker 5: And she was like, cool, so.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Eat and drink in the room and never bring the
- 18:48Speaker 1: dishes down right. And so then I had to confront her,
- 18:51Speaker 1: which was uncomfortable, and she was like, wait, you went
- 18:53Speaker 1: in my room. Wait you took all the glasses and
- 18:56Speaker 1: the forks. Yeah, And then not to mention, is she
- 18:58Speaker 1: a sociopath? Because why you during the coffee with a fork?
- 19:01Speaker 5: I don't want right?
- 19:03Speaker 2: And do you know what's kind of funny though, if
- 19:05Speaker 2: she would have just consistently brought back said silver ware,
- 19:09Speaker 2: I would have never probably could have kept eating and
- 19:11Speaker 2: drinking in there. You would clue havenitched on herself.
- 19:15Speaker 5: Yeah, Well, thankfully.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I was then about to pop out Liam, and so
- 19:19Speaker 1: she was like, it's time for me to move out
- 19:21Speaker 1: because you're having another kid.
- 19:22Speaker 5: And we're good.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Now. This was like years and years ago, but just
- 19:26Speaker 1: be careful ask the questions when you're like vetting a roommate.
- 19:31Speaker 5: What do you stir your coffee with?
- 19:33Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven, Yeah,
- 19:37Speaker 2: my roommate. Horror story, Paul's my wife leaving that darn
- 19:41Speaker 2: light on wownts Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven.
- 19:49Speaker 2: It's gave an Angie sunshine and eighty three today. And
- 19:53Speaker 2: is there a food that you realized, Oh, I can't.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I probably really shouldn't eat that anymore now that i'm
- 20:00Speaker 2: you know, insert certain age. For some maybe it's in
- 20:02Speaker 2: their thirties. Theres might be forties. It could be fifties.
- 20:06Speaker 1: For me, Gabe, I was thirty eight years old, which
- 20:11Speaker 1: is when I am right now, when I realized mid thirties, Yes,
- 20:15Speaker 1: mid thirties, I like it. You go by my scale
- 20:19Speaker 1: thirty to thirty eight, mid thirties, I'm no. Thirty to
- 20:22Speaker 1: thirty seven, early thirties, thirty eight, mid thirties, thirty nine,
- 20:25Speaker 1: late thirties. You can do it with any decade, just
- 20:28Speaker 1: so you know. Anyway, I was thirty eight when I
- 20:32Speaker 1: realized home man, hallapenos just do not sit right with
- 20:38Speaker 1: me anymore. And as a Latina, that feels like a crime. Yeah,
- 20:41Speaker 1: it feels like my genetics are betraying me on a level.
- 20:45Speaker 1: But I went to Rambis guy's pizza over the weekend
- 20:49Speaker 1: and I had a delicious, thin crust, mushroom jalapeno pizza and.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Then they didn't sit well.
- 20:57Speaker 1: No, I was my intestines were on fire. Year Yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: and that never happens. Now.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Will this stop me from eating halipanos?
- 21:05Speaker 3: No, right, absolutely not.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep eating them, especially at Ramas guys like
- 21:10Speaker 1: that pizza is so fire. Nothing will stop me except
- 21:14Speaker 1: for I will be in a lot of pain, like
- 21:17Speaker 1: it was hard to sleep that night.
- 21:18Speaker 5: Yeah, I would do it again, What about you?
- 21:21Speaker 3: That's so crazy.
- 21:22Speaker 2: At thirty four years old, I realized paulapinos just and
- 21:26Speaker 2: I love spicy food, you know. I like hot wings,
- 21:30Speaker 2: I love peppers. I have buddies who grow their own peppers,
- 21:34Speaker 2: oh nice, in their backyards and stuff. And it's just
- 21:38Speaker 2: like I can't eat them anymore. They it's the same thing.
- 21:40Speaker 2: They just do not sit great. And that is brand new.
- 21:44Speaker 2: That is something probably within like a year that I've discovered.
- 21:47Speaker 2: It's kind of the same. If there's like if I
- 21:49Speaker 2: eat too much fried food. So it's like the State
- 21:52Speaker 2: Fair or any carnival or whatever, it's like, oh man, I.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Don't well, no, just risk it. Yeah yeah, if you
- 22:00Speaker 1: know what's funny, but you never know what age Mikey
- 22:02Speaker 1: my boyfriend, Mike, he only just now and he's fifty nine. Yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 1: just now started feeling lactose intolerant.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, see something developed way later in life.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so Dary is not it for him? What about
- 22:16Speaker 1: U seven oh one to two, eight oh one to
- 22:17Speaker 1: nine eight seven? What food had you think in? Oh?
- 22:20Speaker 5: No.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Downtown Fargo is scheduled to host its first ever Lemonade Crawl.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Ooh, I like this.
- 22:35Speaker 2: This is coming up this Saturday, August twenty third. It
- 22:38Speaker 2: is from one to five and the event, which is

- 23:17Speaker 2: new to a community, and I hope that this is
- 23:20Speaker 2: supported and it goes great.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I feel like, because my kids start school next week,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I feel like this weekend, maybe we should hit this
- 23:26Speaker 1: up because I, you know, you and I have hosted
- 23:29Speaker 1: a couple of pub crawls and my kids have been
- 23:32Speaker 1: like can we go?
- 23:34Speaker 5: No, what they can to this one because it's non alcoholic.
- 23:38Speaker 5: It's lemonade. I like it.
- 23:39Speaker 3: That's right.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Beyond the refreshing drinks, the Lemonade Crawl will offer a
- 23:42Speaker 2: chance to win prizes. If you compete in the crawl,
- 23:46Speaker 2: you'll be entered into a drawing. So there's all kinds
- 23:48Speaker 2: of stuff for you to enjoy and for the kiddos
- 23:51Speaker 2: to enjoy, and we help you have some phone with
- 23:54Speaker 2: that the first ever one. All right, let's make sure
- 23:56Speaker 2: that is a success so that we can keep doing it.
- 23:59Speaker 2: The world is full of nice people. If you can't
- 24:01Speaker 2: find one, you gotta be one.
