We should escape the power of darkness
Today, the Lord tells us through the letter of St. Paul to the Colossians that we need to do God's will and not waste God's gifts in what brings us away from Him. Otherwise, we waste our time and efforts. Accomplishing what is good is not enough. Receiving our reward on earth would not be enough. Our Happiness would only be limited to this life. How about the life eternal? For this to happen, we need to do God's Will and for that, we need to know it through prayer. In this way, we escape the clutches of the powers of darkness.
