- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of Inside the Bus, Episode
- 0:03Speaker 1: forty three.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Darren sprolls Kurt shilling anybody specifically mind Derek that we
- 0:09Speaker 2: might be missing.
- 0:13Speaker 1: This is a very special guest episode because we have
- 0:15Speaker 1: a very special guest. This is my brother Nate, the
- 0:19Speaker 1: first sibling to be on Inside the Bus. Let's go.
- 0:22Speaker 1: He texted me like, so, the reason why Nate is
- 0:26Speaker 1: here is because Supercross is in town and our family
- 0:29Speaker 1: is a very big motocross family. Our dad did it
- 0:31Speaker 1: for fucking thirty years. But he texted me what, like
- 0:37Speaker 1: we were talking about it at Christmas probably before that. Yeah,
- 0:40Speaker 1: he's like, you gotta get me on this shit, and
- 0:42Speaker 1: like you got to come down when we're recording, and
- 0:45Speaker 1: so the closest Supercross got Nate's like, I'm coming on
- 0:49Speaker 1: Tuesday strictly for this. Unfortunately it landed during our spring tour.
- 0:53Speaker 1: So that's why Jack and JP are not here. They
- 0:56Speaker 1: texted me some questions to ask you.
- 0:59Speaker 3: But also a clutch that when we're a little thin
- 1:02Speaker 3: on people, yeah we got a good guest.
- 1:04Speaker 1: On so yep, if you want them to hear, you
- 1:07Speaker 1: want them here. To ask Nate some questions because obviously
- 1:10Speaker 1: they know of Nate the most from like just me
- 1:13Speaker 1: talking about him. But that's why we have other guys
- 1:15Speaker 1: like Derek Chef. Matt left today, so that's why he
- 1:20Speaker 1: got his schedule mixed around. So unfortunately he wasn't able
- 1:22Speaker 1: to join us. But if you guys have any questions
- 1:25Speaker 1: you want to ask him throughout, feel free to just
- 1:28Speaker 1: fire away.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll just well, I wonder how Mitch was as
- 1:35Speaker 3: a as an older brother growing up. The good, the bad,
- 1:38Speaker 3: the ugly.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Here's an assholey, it's a lot of bad.
- 1:42Speaker 3: At what age did y'all get cool with each.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Other when he moved to college? Yeah, honestly the last
- 1:47Speaker 1: even even up till then. I mean.
- 1:50Speaker 4: We were never close and then even in college barely
- 1:53Speaker 4: ever talked.
- 1:54Speaker 1: And then.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the average brother experience.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I'm asking because I have an older
- 2:03Speaker 3: brother's a year older, and like I know, my parents,
- 2:05Speaker 3: I know we just gave him hell just arguing all
- 2:08Speaker 3: the time and fighting doing what brothers do. Like now,
- 2:10Speaker 3: I mean, my brother's name is Camp. Me and Camp
- 2:13Speaker 3: never are you fight like we're just like we're bros. Yeah,
- 2:16Speaker 3: And that happened probably around the same time, around college though.
- 2:20Speaker 4: It's basically what it is. I mean, I was definitely
- 2:22Speaker 4: an asshole to him wams than not. But I mean
- 2:25Speaker 4: all we had in common was sports.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you can look at him like he's
- 2:31Speaker 1: wearing like put your shoes up, like this is him
- 2:34Speaker 1: every single day, camo hat, fishing glasses like shit, like
- 2:38Speaker 1: a blue collar dude, and like, yeah, Pennsylvania, like backwoods
- 2:42Speaker 1: of Pennsylvania. Like we were just so different and like
- 2:45Speaker 1: really the only thing we did have in common was
- 2:47Speaker 1: playing like football, baseball, and then obviously motocross and stuff,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and so like we were we were close in that aspect,
- 2:56Speaker 1: but then like we just didn't really. I don't know.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I feel I take the majority of the responsibility because
- 3:02Speaker 1: I mean I was a dickhead older brother. I mean
- 3:04Speaker 1: there was one I think it was Nate's birthday and
- 3:07Speaker 1: we had my buddy Colby over and we were I
- 3:11Speaker 1: don't know if we were going to like we were
- 3:13Speaker 1: doing something, and I just remember like I was standing
- 3:16Speaker 1: on top of Nate just like terrorizing him, and and
- 3:19Speaker 1: my mom got pissed at me. He's like, it is
- 3:23Speaker 1: Nate's birthday, you can't be doing this to him. So
- 3:25Speaker 1: I I was definitely a dickhead growing up, and I
- 3:29Speaker 1: obviously regretted a lot of it because I mean, once
- 3:33Speaker 1: our parents are gone, that's all you got. So it's like,
- 3:36Speaker 1: but I feel like the last couple of years we've
- 3:38Speaker 1: definitely gotten closer. I mean you can tell he hasn't
- 3:42Speaker 1: really said a whole lot, and he's very quiet and
- 3:44Speaker 1: doesn't so it's like sometimes it's like pulling teeth to
- 3:48Speaker 1: get to talk to him.
- 3:49Speaker 3: But famous inside the bus.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Yeah, watch him before.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Since you guys wanted to bash on the gatorade in
- 4:00Speaker 4: the snow, that's a hit.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you.
- 4:04Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't get a lot of snow
- 4:06Speaker 3: in Texas.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Well, Yeah, like Derek is the only one, Like you
- 4:10Speaker 1: don't get much snow. We don't get so much snow
- 4:11Speaker 1: down in Tennessee. You don't hardly ever get any snow
- 4:14Speaker 1: in Texas. Like nobody in like jps from South Carolina
- 4:17Speaker 1: and that's from Tennessee. Everyone was giving a ship for it.
- 4:19Speaker 1: But it's like, I don't know, did you ever do
- 4:22Speaker 1: it in Pennsylvania? Like you just pour you poured the gatorade?
- 4:27Speaker 3: Were you up here for that?
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah? And then like I think I lay there.
- 4:34Speaker 3: And that's the part that everybody that's the part that
- 4:37Speaker 3: everybody was kind of questioning though, was like you just
- 4:38Speaker 3: laying there like.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean like get you get in your hand
- 4:43Speaker 1: and eat it. Yeah, like you get a bunch of you. Yeah,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you weren't up here for that. So I forget what.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm sold on it still, I forget.
- 4:51Speaker 1: How it came up. But like we are, we were
- 4:53Speaker 1: it was a favorite snows and oh yeah, it was
- 4:57Speaker 1: like up in Pa. You can get up like you
- 4:59Speaker 1: can get it ship a ton of snow to the.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Point where we got one that was about a foot.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:04Speaker 4: I think around when you guys got the bad ice
- 5:07Speaker 4: ice storm down here.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and like you can just kind of sit there
- 5:11Speaker 1: and just hang out and like a lot of the
- 5:13Speaker 1: times we were playing snow football or just dicking around outside,
- 5:15Speaker 1: whether it was with our dog or just messing around,
- 5:18Speaker 1: and you just PLoP down. You get like a minigatorade
- 5:21Speaker 1: poured in the snow and just lick it.
- 5:24Speaker 2: It's kind of sick. Yeah, I'm not against it. It
- 5:27Speaker 2: sounds crazy, but we just we just never had time.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Were like a day and then the next day was
- 5:32Speaker 2: all gone. Yeah, well, say Tennessee, like you'll get one
- 5:35Speaker 2: every couple of years where you get like above six inches,
- 5:38Speaker 2: but the right snow, Yeah, yeah, I've always read that
- 5:43Speaker 2: you're not see snow at all, like because it's technically
- 5:46Speaker 2: rain water.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I didn't, but hey, I mean I feel like every
- 5:49Speaker 1: kid ever, Yeah, it's like drinking hose water. It's good
- 5:52Speaker 1: for it's it's good for them, yes, exactly. But the
- 5:55Speaker 1: times that sucked, I'm sure it happened to you. Like
- 5:58Speaker 1: obviously you got to watch out for like the the
- 6:00Speaker 1: yellow pea from your dog, and we didn't have any
- 6:03Speaker 1: like we could distinguish the two. But like sometimes you have,
- 6:06Speaker 1: like to put the salt on the road, Yeah, you
- 6:09Speaker 1: end up like licking that or tasting that. It's like, yeah,
- 6:12Speaker 1: it's salty, but it's like super bitter, but again, good
- 6:15Speaker 1: for the immune system.
- 6:16Speaker 4: He'd walk over to the tracks anyway, Yep, yep.
- 6:23Speaker 1: But yeah, so fire away, Nate's a he's an open book.
- 6:26Speaker 4: We're here to to add to the number forty three episode.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure Richard Petty was, Yes, he was.
- 6:34Speaker 2: He was the king. The king a little bit cars
- 6:38Speaker 2: as well. Who is the better athlete growing up?
- 6:42Speaker 4: Me?
- 6:43Speaker 1: See Nate just I didn't apply myself. Mitch was committed. No,
- 6:48Speaker 1: it was never nice. He always says, like all the
- 6:50Speaker 1: handsome or more athletic like brother, but in all seriousness,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and Nate didn't care about it as much as I did.
- 6:57Speaker 1: He was like he's always in a hunting fishing, loving
- 7:01Speaker 1: that shit every day. Kind of shout out Luke Bryan.
- 7:03Speaker 1: But like, yeah, I graduated high school at five ten
- 7:09Speaker 1: like one sixty. He was a freshman. Mother than that. No,
- 7:13Speaker 1: I think it was like, yeah, like five I was
- 7:15Speaker 1: five ten like one seventy. That's that was how big
- 7:17Speaker 1: he was as a freshman. So he was always like
- 7:19Speaker 1: bigger than me, and like I think he could have
- 7:23Speaker 1: and probably if he cared, would have been a lot
- 7:25Speaker 1: better at mean than football. I feel like I was
- 7:27Speaker 1: better at you than baseball though.
- 7:29Speaker 4: See mom and dad think different about that, but they
- 7:33Speaker 4: think it's vice versa.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I know, like you were.
- 7:36Speaker 4: The thing that sucked for Mitch and high school was
- 7:40Speaker 4: the dick head head coach didn't trust him or I
- 7:45Speaker 4: don't know what the word for it, but didn't let
- 7:50Speaker 4: Mitch play a lot.
- 7:51Speaker 1: There were there were some fan like uh coaches, sons, politics, Yes,
- 7:56Speaker 1: that means yeah, and so my mom loves to just
- 7:59Speaker 1: get me motivational speeches about that shit.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I'm like, I feel like baseball is the worst sport
- 8:04Speaker 2: in terms of like political like politics going on. I
- 8:07Speaker 2: feel like that's one I always hear about, Oh I
- 8:09Speaker 2: didn't get in because I didn't make the lineup because
- 8:11Speaker 2: the coach hates me, or like my dad didn't you
- 8:13Speaker 2: know he's good with the other guy's dad. They played
- 8:15Speaker 2: poker on Tuesdays.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, And.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I used to think that all the time.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I asked.
- 8:18Speaker 3: I was like, man, I'm not playing because of all
- 8:19Speaker 3: those politics. Looking back, I really just think I wasn't
- 8:22Speaker 3: that good.
- 8:22Speaker 1: We were like when it came to baseball, we were
- 8:25Speaker 1: kind of different players because he was bigger and he
- 8:26Speaker 1: was like more of a power guy, where I was
- 8:28Speaker 1: like just base hit steals. Did I play?
- 8:33Speaker 3: Yeah, both of y'all.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I mean, growing up was like first base and catcher.
- 8:36Speaker 4: And then once I got to middle school, I was
- 8:40Speaker 4: an outfielder. But then when I was in eighth grades
- 8:44Speaker 4: when I messed up my shoulder racing.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So then yeah, we have to get into that.
- 8:47Speaker 4: So then I couldn't really throw much anymore. And then
- 8:50Speaker 4: I played one more year after that and then I
- 8:52Speaker 4: was basically double.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I was a second baseman. It was cool we
- 8:56Speaker 1: got to play. So I graduated high school in sixteen
- 9:00Speaker 1: and then he graduated in twenty, so we missed each
- 9:03Speaker 1: other by one year or three years apart, but four
- 9:05Speaker 1: years school wise, Like I'm super young for my grade,
- 9:07Speaker 1: he's super old. But we got to play one year
- 9:10Speaker 1: of summer ball together, which was like when I was
- 9:12Speaker 1: in college. And remember when that was.
- 9:16Speaker 4: I was like I think I was a junior and
- 9:19Speaker 4: hiphomore or junior in high school.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but that was like that was the first time.
- 9:23Speaker 1: And we have flag tonight and I tried to I'm
- 9:25Speaker 1: trying to get him to play, but he said he
- 9:27Speaker 1: hasn't done anything. He was always like riddled with injuries.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Were you a receiver too?
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:32Speaker 1: I was a running back.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Yeah, built like a running back, can see it.
- 9:37Speaker 1: But I like tall, he would like obviously now, but
- 9:40Speaker 1: like back then, like I mean when he was coming
- 9:42Speaker 1: in as a freshman, it's like the coach. We had
- 9:45Speaker 1: a new coach by then. My coach had left because
- 9:47Speaker 1: he had fucking sucked. Steve Gone, you can go fuck yourself.
- 9:51Speaker 1: He uh like the head coach is like, Nate, you're
- 9:55Speaker 1: gonna be a part of this as a freshman coming
- 9:57Speaker 1: in because he was like he was a stud.
- 10:00Speaker 4: And I decided to go racing and fucked up my
- 10:03Speaker 4: shoulder and that was it.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so get in what happened with that? Uh?
- 10:08Speaker 4: So it would have been my first year on a
- 10:10Speaker 4: big bike. So there's a two fifty. What you guys
- 10:13Speaker 4: had here was a four fifty. Went to my first
- 10:17Speaker 4: race on that went off of jump sideways and basically
- 10:22Speaker 4: the restless history. I tour right through my rotator cuff, chip,
- 10:27Speaker 4: two bones, my then and my humorous.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Dude, how big are those jumps? Like? Uh? Is it
- 10:34Speaker 2: like a normal motocross? Or's like the pros? What you see?
- 10:37Speaker 4: Are they small to an extent of what the pros are?
- 10:39Speaker 4: So right now what's going on is they're just doing supercross.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Then come June May into May sometimes when they go
- 10:49Speaker 4: technically outdoors, which would be considered motocross. Yeah, so that's
- 10:52Speaker 4: when they're hitting like the bigger jumps and stuff. The
- 10:55Speaker 4: tracks are a lot longer and stuff like that, motos
- 10:58Speaker 4: are longer, so we are I was more or less
- 11:00Speaker 4: on the motocross side, so it was all outwards. Wasn't
- 11:03Speaker 4: doing any like technical stuff like it is now in
- 11:06Speaker 4: the stadiums.
- 11:07Speaker 1: But uh, I mean this yeah. The one jump, probably the.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Biggest I ever hit, was a little over one hundred
- 11:16Speaker 4: foot cheez.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I feel like motocross. It's one of those things when
- 11:20Speaker 2: you watch on TV. It's a big sport that you go,
- 11:22Speaker 2: I could do that, like I could easily get.
- 11:24Speaker 1: On a bike. I mean the seriest part is the jumps.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Yeah, And that's how I messed myself up. Was I
- 11:32Speaker 4: went off a jump and when I was going off,
- 11:34Speaker 4: my back end slid out, So I'm flying this way,
- 11:37Speaker 4: but I'm looking that way.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Basically there was no and then.
- 11:39Speaker 2: When there's nothing else, when you're in the air and
- 11:42Speaker 2: you're looking down and you're just like, oh ship, yeah,
- 11:45Speaker 2: this is gonna slow down like the whole like it.
- 11:48Speaker 4: And I mean on bigger jumps, if you hit them
- 11:52Speaker 4: correctly or whatever, it's just kind of floating.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Which is that's the part that I want to
- 11:58Speaker 1: go out to Delank, Like we all need to go
- 11:59Speaker 1: out to Delaney's. And he said, like he's built like
- 12:02Speaker 1: a track and shit out there, and like I've never
- 12:06Speaker 1: been off a jump other than like the fucking shed
- 12:08Speaker 1: little thing that we made when we were kids. But
- 12:12Speaker 1: like that's the scariest part. But anything like once you
- 12:14Speaker 1: learn that, like actually how to ride it, it's pretty easy.
- 12:18Speaker 1: But then like the technical shit of like getting in
- 12:20Speaker 1: ruts and turning out and like.
- 12:22Speaker 4: And I was no professional by no means, I mean,
- 12:25Speaker 4: it's like growing up, it's your little bikes and stuff,
- 12:28Speaker 4: and then once you go to big bikes, you're it's
- 12:30Speaker 4: like say two fifty A, B and C A being
- 12:34Speaker 4: guys that are practically pro, yeah, or have their pro license.
- 12:39Speaker 4: So a guy will be racing two guys that'll be
- 12:42Speaker 4: racing this weekend. When I was growing up racing, they
- 12:46Speaker 4: were at the tracks, all the tracks that I was
- 12:48Speaker 4: going to.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It was a different league.
- 12:51Speaker 4: But yeah, back then that was crazy. But so like A,
- 12:54Speaker 4: B and C, I was in C class. So it's
- 12:56Speaker 4: essentially your beginner class. If you guys got a bike
- 12:59Speaker 4: and said I'm gonna go race, that's the class that
- 13:01Speaker 4: you would race. Gotcha some some tracks they'll have like
- 13:05Speaker 4: a D class or a beginner class to where all
- 13:08Speaker 4: those guys there might be their first ever time on
- 13:10Speaker 4: a track or first time ever racing but that's not
- 13:13Speaker 4: doesn't happen too often like that.
- 13:14Speaker 1: And you point out of classes, correct.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Yeah, so you can point out of classes, but sometimes
- 13:22Speaker 4: people try to play the system.
- 13:24Speaker 1: There was a couple of kids that I used to
- 13:26Speaker 1: race to where the.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Word was that they were paying the AMA, which is
- 13:31Speaker 4: like the whole Grand Scheme.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Of all motorcycle racing and stuff like that.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Essentially they were paying the AMA to keep them in
- 13:38Speaker 4: C class because they were winning in C class.
- 13:41Speaker 1: There's a kid that I raced.
- 13:42Speaker 4: He was winning almost every race in C class, went
- 13:45Speaker 4: to B class and then he wouldn't even finish the
- 13:47Speaker 4: race where he was getting lapped, so he just wanted
- 13:51Speaker 4: to keep winning. He didn't want to he'd but you
- 13:53Speaker 4: have to move up.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah, are bikes regulated? There is it all like you
- 13:57Speaker 2: build your own bike and.
- 13:58Speaker 4: It's basically by the sea. So two fifty so a
- 14:01Speaker 4: two fifty four stroke will race. What it used to
- 14:04Speaker 4: be back in the day was a two fifty four
- 14:06Speaker 4: stroke would race with the one twenty five to two stroke. Gotcha, okay,
- 14:09Speaker 4: Then the two fifty two strike would race with the
- 14:11Speaker 4: four fifties. But I think that's kind of lost its
- 14:14Speaker 4: way now in the pros. That's how it is. If
- 14:16Speaker 4: you wanted to race a one twenty five two strike,
- 14:18Speaker 4: you have to be in the two fifty class, but
- 14:20Speaker 4: a two fifty two stroke you have to be in
- 14:22Speaker 4: the four to fifty class.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Okay, I get what you're saying, so cut it on half.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Did you ever in school did Mitch like if you
- 14:29Speaker 2: went to a teacher. Did you ever have a teacher like, oh,
- 14:31Speaker 2: you're the way your Mitch say that?
- 14:35Speaker 1: There was I was the academic between the two of us.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I was showing up the school sweatpants
- 14:42Speaker 4: or sweatpants and a sweatshirt, shorts and a sweatshirt.
- 14:45Speaker 1: That was me every day.
- 14:46Speaker 4: He's driving me to school, He's in a button down
- 14:48Speaker 4: shirt khakis.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I didn't wear that. I wasn't a square like that.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah you would.
- 14:54Speaker 4: I remember specifically pulling out a driveway on time and
- 14:57Speaker 4: you're like, dude, you gotta get your shit together, like
- 14:59Speaker 4: you look like a ball.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean I probably did say that, but yeah,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I would like or whatever. But I had Yeah, there
- 15:09Speaker 1: was my girlfriend. I had to fucking yeah. That's a
- 15:11Speaker 1: different story, but.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Uh, yeah, there was definitely some teachers to where like,
- 15:17Speaker 4: you know, we had Mitch, so.
- 15:21Speaker 2: It was good expectations. Yes, I did the opposite from
- 15:24Speaker 2: my little brother. I got. My little brother is an a.
- 15:27Speaker 2: My little brother is like a very good kid compared
- 15:29Speaker 2: to me.
- 15:30Speaker 1: And uh.
- 15:30Speaker 2: He would constantly, like every year he'd come back and
- 15:32Speaker 2: be like, hey, I have one year old teachers and
- 15:34Speaker 2: they already hate me off the rip and I'm my gosh,
- 15:37Speaker 2: I don't know what to tell you, buddy. Yeah, got
- 15:39Speaker 2: that opposite.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Yeah that was never the case now, I mean he
- 15:43Speaker 4: you did a lot of honors classes and stuff like that,
- 15:45Speaker 4: didn't you.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Yeah, because I had to.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't do any honors classes. So we didn't
- 15:50Speaker 4: have all the same teachers. But there were a few
- 15:53Speaker 4: here and there that we'd have the same.
- 15:55Speaker 1: But like if I had like a B or a
- 15:58Speaker 1: C in a class, it'd be like my dad would
- 16:01Speaker 1: be like, what the fuck is going on? My mom
- 16:02Speaker 1: would be like, you gotta step it up. If Nate
- 16:04Speaker 1: had to be or see, it's.
- 16:05Speaker 4: Like plus was like an a plus to other people,
- 16:10Speaker 4: Like I was pumped.
- 16:12Speaker 2: No, it's the class. That's how it goes. Same with me,
- 16:14Speaker 2: even though I did got in trouble just having Meltowle
- 16:16Speaker 2: brothers smart and yeah, I'm not going to trash talk
- 16:21Speaker 2: in here. It would be nice about it. Hard working guy.
- 16:23Speaker 1: But we like our school. I mean we're in the
- 16:26Speaker 1: middle of fucking nowhere. So you had a color school
- 16:29Speaker 1: meth Mountain. Really. Oh, we were like snow on the hill.
- 16:33Speaker 1: That's what hurts her would say. Yeah. Once I left, Yeah,
- 16:38Speaker 1: shadow has herds her. Once I left, Twin Valley went down,
- 16:42Speaker 1: it went and it went like the people went to Ship.
- 16:45Speaker 1: But like our sports, like we were in the state
- 16:48Speaker 1: championship for football this year, which is like unheard us.
- 16:51Speaker 4: Yeah, but I mean you go to those football games
- 16:53Speaker 4: and it's like if I put my team against this team,
- 16:55Speaker 4: they wouldn't score a touchdown.
- 16:58Speaker 1: That's how I look at it.
- 17:00Speaker 4: You you're saying our my high school teamers say, you're
- 17:03Speaker 4: a high school team, wouldn't score a touchdown? Or the
- 17:07Speaker 4: high school team now store team or a touchdown or team. Yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 4: I mean that's what it looks like to me, unless
- 17:13Speaker 4: we are just garbage like that.
- 17:14Speaker 1: But I was. We were Ship. We were really bad. Yeah.
- 17:22Speaker 1: What else?
- 17:23Speaker 3: What are some of the questions that they so?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Jack and JP, they are too. They only sent
- 17:30Speaker 1: two questions. JP said, Uh, what is Nate's go to
- 17:37Speaker 1: lunch or dinner? He's got to know if he's cut
- 17:38Speaker 1: from the same cloth as eye.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Nowhere even close my go to bro your dinner when
- 17:45Speaker 4: I faced on you, like a month ago, your your
- 17:47Speaker 4: dinner was fucking tortilla is with cheese in it in.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Case, Yeah, but like I.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Is it?
- 17:57Speaker 3: What is my go to to make or my go
- 17:59Speaker 3: to to?
- 18:00Speaker 1: Like what do you when you go to work? What
- 18:02Speaker 1: do you make? Or what do you have for lunch
- 18:03Speaker 1: every day? M hm, he's a leftovers? Do you make
- 18:07Speaker 1: a sandwich every more?
- 18:08Speaker 4: If we have leftovers? Have that sometimes I just get
- 18:13Speaker 4: the pre made salads from Walmart to where I just
- 18:16Speaker 4: gotta throw everything together with the frozen meals. So, I
- 18:20Speaker 4: mean it's nothing. My lunches aren't anything.
- 18:22Speaker 1: So it seems like he's lazier than I am.
- 18:25Speaker 2: I mean that's all. But it sounds like it's cut
- 18:28Speaker 2: from the same cloth.
- 18:29Speaker 4: What about similar cloth dinner in terms of what do
- 18:33Speaker 4: I make myself?
- 18:33Speaker 1: Yeah, chicken or I think I'm back cut from the
- 18:39Speaker 1: same cloth, but I'm better, I'll make burgers.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I think.
- 18:44Speaker 3: There's a little bit similar cloth, but specifically the like
- 18:49Speaker 3: peanut buttered crackers.
- 18:51Speaker 1: He doesn't do those. Yeah, that start from my dad.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Yeah, obviously I have peanut butter or peanut butter and
- 18:58Speaker 4: jelly's a lot.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Here he'll send He's like dinner tonight like that big.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Yeah, don't. I don't do that anymore. They used to
- 19:06Speaker 1: be monstrosity. I used to. I used to. I mean,
- 19:09Speaker 1: like that much peanut butter.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I'm enough to believe it.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I respect it.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I respect I have an affinity for PV and
- 19:19Speaker 1: j's And like our dad would, he'd like come home
- 19:22Speaker 1: from like his board meetings late and.
- 19:24Speaker 4: That, like it's for us to talk to him. It's
- 19:28Speaker 4: I can I get one of those? It's a rich
- 19:30Speaker 4: cracker with peanut butter and jelly on it.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yeah. So like that's where I got it from a
- 19:34Speaker 1: night you were never you were always like a deli
- 19:38Speaker 1: meat sandwich guy. Yeah, so I had.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I've recently built out a club sandwich that I think
- 19:46Speaker 2: could like win awards. All right, so hear me out,
- 19:52Speaker 2: shout out me, this is what it is. So yeah,
- 19:55Speaker 2: I mean, I'm gonna I'm gonna hold mad high on
- 19:56Speaker 2: this one. I'll try to get a picture to you guys,
- 19:58Speaker 2: but it's wheatberry bread with turkey ham, two types of cheese.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I go American and then I go a pepper jack
- 20:06Speaker 2: with the what do they call it, with another bread
- 20:08Speaker 2: piece in the middle, like a belt. Yeah, yeah, like
- 20:13Speaker 2: a big I think, like a cartoon sandwich. Then we're going, yeah,
- 20:16Speaker 2: kind of double decker. Then we're going on the other side,
- 20:19Speaker 2: we're doing another round of turkey ham, two types of cheese.
- 20:23Speaker 2: We're going bacon on top of that, lettuce, tomato, maybe
- 20:25Speaker 2: pickles on the bottom, toast both sides of the bread.
- 20:28Speaker 2: It will be like that big and it is the
- 20:30Speaker 2: most delicious, like club. I guess it's like a club.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I don't know, but I've.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Just that's why we call them folks, why I recently built.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Yeah, like it's a labor of love, but it's a
- 20:43Speaker 2: it kills.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I mean, we grew up on my crockpot meals and
- 20:47Speaker 1: I've had chicken every single way that you could have chicken. Yeah,
- 20:49Speaker 1: And like I loved it. And so it's like we're
- 20:54Speaker 1: not like we it's not like we ate the healthiest,
- 20:56Speaker 1: but it's not like we ate garbage terrible. It was
- 20:58Speaker 1: just like comfort meals.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Red blood in American family. So it sounds like hate
- 21:02Speaker 2: on the crockpot. Yeah, I've seen a lot of crockpot
- 21:04Speaker 2: hate since I for.
- 21:06Speaker 1: No very true. Yeah, like in like crock pots.
- 21:09Speaker 3: I was excited to spell the crock pot when I walked.
- 21:10Speaker 1: In Nate was and Nate ate my crockpot meal at
- 21:13Speaker 1: two am last night because him in the crock pot. Yeah,
- 21:18Speaker 1: like I was on that you can do it good?
- 21:21Speaker 4: Yeah it was, but I was really I was upset
- 21:24Speaker 4: because I was afraid to make wake up Mitch. And
- 21:28Speaker 4: I've seen the shredded parmesan cheese in the bottom. I
- 21:31Speaker 4: was like, this would go good melting it, and then
- 21:33Speaker 4: I just ate it cold.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I just opened it up.
- 21:36Speaker 2: There's nothing like sneaking through the kitchen trying not to
- 21:38Speaker 2: wake everyone up after drinking all night late, just trying
- 21:41Speaker 2: to like tiptoe. You're just praying to God. You think
- 21:43Speaker 2: you're probably quiet as hell, and you're just causing the
- 21:46Speaker 2: biggest rocket.
- 21:46Speaker 1: I didn't wake up, like Brooke may have woken up.
- 21:48Speaker 1: I didn't. She didn't say anything about it. But like, yeah,
- 21:52Speaker 1: I think the crockpot hate is completely unwarranted because that's performative.
- 21:57Speaker 2: I think people ship on it. I've never said, because
- 22:00Speaker 2: there's so many the good things you make in a
- 22:01Speaker 2: crock pot. I am white chicken chili or maybe like Italian,
- 22:05Speaker 2: like an Italian beef.
- 22:06Speaker 3: My mom used to be chicken and dumplings in that thing.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Broh, Yes, my our mom used to make it too.
- 22:10Speaker 1: It's like if I go back and my mom like, hey,
- 22:13Speaker 1: what do you want for an intertial, make that it's unreal?
- 22:17Speaker 3: Or chicken tortilla soup.
- 22:19Speaker 1: The other Jack's question was what job would you do
- 22:23Speaker 1: here if you worked at busting? Wow, I have no idea.
- 22:31Speaker 3: It doesn't even have to be a job that's already here, right.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, Like you had to make a job for yourself here.
- 22:36Speaker 3: What can you provide?
- 22:37Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:39Speaker 4: Build you guys ship Yeah, yeah, like how that room's built,
- 22:44Speaker 4: you know whatever. That's probably what I would take up
- 22:47Speaker 4: is building sets and stuff inside the bus set.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how. Another reason why we're so different, like
- 22:53Speaker 1: he's blue collar worker, Like what are you yourself?
- 22:57Speaker 4: Was Now, I'm in the office as a project estimator
- 23:01Speaker 4: for a construction company. But I went to school for
- 23:04Speaker 4: residential building, construction and concrete science, so I've been in
- 23:09Speaker 4: the field.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Now in the office now. But he's built my headboard.
- 23:13Speaker 1: He built that my I have like a little chest
- 23:16Speaker 1: thing that goes under my bed and it's like a
- 23:18Speaker 1: storage thing. He built that. Where is that is that here? Yeah?
- 23:23Speaker 1: I think it's in storage because we don't our apartments
- 23:25Speaker 1: too small, but like, yeah, he could honestly just build
- 23:30Speaker 1: all of our sets.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Some rough hands right there, I'm guessing.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I got callouses on my hands from working out. You
- 23:38Speaker 1: got baby hands and yours aren't. These are smooth, And
- 23:41Speaker 1: I'm okay with that. So what's wrong with mine compared
- 23:44Speaker 1: to yours.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I'm just saying they ain't tough hands. I ain't working
- 23:47Speaker 2: man hands.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Hands. Yeah, I mean that's that's an insult.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Yeah, but I accept it.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I mean, do you have from working out? No?
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah, like from golf and stuff like keeping smooth. I'm okay.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I've lived with that. I did a summer of however,
- 24:05Speaker 2: I have work construction. I did a whole summer doing cocking,
- 24:08Speaker 2: and I wanted, I may want to make sure everyone
- 24:10Speaker 2: saw that today with the shirt that we got sent
- 24:12Speaker 2: in that.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Nice colling on that that's actually I estimate.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Dude, caking in. I did a summer of cocking and
- 24:20Speaker 2: it sucked. I did outdoor waterproofing too, for a company
- 24:23Speaker 2: just north. I would spend every day in July heat
- 24:26Speaker 2: just putting down that black like layer tar with the
- 24:29Speaker 2: little sheets over it. I had a seventy five year
- 24:32Speaker 2: old foreman named Joe, and Joe would he would change
- 24:36Speaker 2: smoke camel blues as we would ride into Nashville, and
- 24:39Speaker 2: then he would talk about politics, and Joe, if you
- 24:42Speaker 2: can only imagine, was a just a good old boy,
- 24:45Speaker 2: started talking and I'd be sitting in the back seat
- 24:47Speaker 2: at like six am, and he'd start saying this wild shit,
- 24:50Speaker 2: like Alex Jones level shit as I'm sitting back there
- 24:53Speaker 2: and just fogging the place up, just hammering them over
- 24:56Speaker 2: and over. And I did that for a whole summer,
- 24:59Speaker 2: and it kind of rocked, actually I did with my buddy,
- 25:01Speaker 2: but it did suck too.
- 25:03Speaker 1: We were talking earlier about I was Matt like, just
- 25:06Speaker 1: being a blue collar worker kind of rips but also
- 25:09Speaker 1: kind of sucks at the same time, because depending on
- 25:11Speaker 1: what you're doing, you can be outside all day when
- 25:14Speaker 1: it's nice out, but then on the other hand, you're
- 25:18Speaker 1: work to ship by the end of the day, and
- 25:19Speaker 1: if it's really hot out like, you're fucked. Yeah, that's
- 25:23Speaker 1: what it was.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Like.
- 25:24Speaker 1: We worked together at a golf course and I was
- 25:26Speaker 1: kind of that was another time where I was kind
- 25:28Speaker 1: of a dickhead to him because an asshole.
- 25:31Speaker 4: He was acting as my boss telling me what to do,
- 25:33Speaker 4: and I was like, dude, you're.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Not my boss.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but like I was fucking I'd just be fucking
- 25:36Speaker 4: off in the corner somewhere doing whatever and he's yelling
- 25:40Speaker 4: at me and warn that was no fun.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Warrnton, Yeah, I mean I should have been doing something. Yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Do you guys still get an argument I got into,
- 25:49Speaker 2: Like I got into an argument on Easter Sunday with
- 25:51Speaker 2: my little brother over ice cream. Perfect time, end up
- 25:53Speaker 2: calling him ill. I screamed. I was like, you're a
- 25:55Speaker 2: fucking dick in front of the whole fan. I got
- 25:57Speaker 2: in a lot of trouble. But I'm like, I wonder
- 25:59Speaker 2: because he's a we're same age gap, so I'm twenty
- 26:01Speaker 2: four grants twenty once. I guess one year closer. But
- 26:04Speaker 2: I was like, we're like grown ups technically, and we
- 26:07Speaker 2: still get in fights all the time.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I don't think we really bicker or anything. It is
- 26:12Speaker 1: just if you yelling at me for probably something done
- 26:14Speaker 1: that I've done. Yeah, and usually I mean just you're
- 26:17Speaker 1: you're the attitude. It's like, bro, just relax, it's really.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Nice about to argue. I have some more questions from
- 26:26Speaker 3: an anonymous Derek.
- 26:29Speaker 2: There.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Does I have a mic? Or he would? He would
- 26:31Speaker 3: be pitching these questions. I'll go ahead and rip them.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Who who would last longer in each other situations?
- 26:38Speaker 1: Now?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Mm?
- 26:42Speaker 1: Like of life situations working?
- 26:47Speaker 3: Yeah, roles reverse? Who would last longer?
- 26:53Speaker 1: So I'll start. I've been telling Nate to get the
- 26:57Speaker 1: fuck out of PA for two years now, and I
- 27:00Speaker 1: think I think he would last better here because I
- 27:03Speaker 1: would be where he's living at now, just an unhappy mess. Yeah,
- 27:08Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:09Speaker 4: I mean work and all, yeah, all of it.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I mean, I guess I really don't know. To be
- 27:18Speaker 1: honest with you, I mean, you would thrive down here
- 27:20Speaker 1: in Nashville. What do you mean you were out last
- 27:22Speaker 1: night on a Tuesday.
- 27:23Speaker 4: But I don't know if I last long enough because
- 27:25Speaker 4: I would just be downtown.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I like, you'll probably you would get sick of it
- 27:31Speaker 1: after a while and your yeah, I understand, while it
- 27:33Speaker 1: would fucking feel.
- 27:34Speaker 4: It, Yeah, because I mean eleven bucks a drink. Yeah,
- 27:38Speaker 4: and it gets worse than that too, and it.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Got a stuff Broadway.
- 27:41Speaker 1: That's the key. Well he was a red door.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Yeah, they got off red doors, red doors, like five
- 27:45Speaker 2: bucks beer, six beer.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, like it was oh yeah, yeah, I think.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I don't know. I feel like you don't know. I think.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Because I like, I don't know if i'd like the
- 27:58Speaker 4: city part of it, just too many people around.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I don't like. I don't like a lot of people.
- 28:03Speaker 1: If you had to live like kind of, I don't
- 28:07Speaker 1: know if you like, if you if I lived in
- 28:09Speaker 1: your house and you lived in my apartment, like I
- 28:11Speaker 1: feel like you wouldn't like that, but you could live
- 28:14Speaker 1: outside the city, So yeah, you can live up.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Sorry I was gonna say, I'm kind of the same.
- 28:19Speaker 3: And I feel like you can stay out of the
- 28:21Speaker 3: way a little bit, especially my new place, stay out
- 28:24Speaker 3: of the way. Like I even avoid traffic after work somehow.
- 28:27Speaker 2: So yeah, you're far enough. I mean you're on the
- 28:30Speaker 2: far away. I'm thirty that I'm like thirty out. But
- 28:32Speaker 2: also like where I live in Hendersonville, you can I
- 28:35Speaker 2: can drive fifteen minutes and you're in the sticks. So
- 28:37Speaker 2: you're in the White House Tennessee, Portland, Tennessee.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Kind of like and were now Juliette you define.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah fine, and even some of the like busier parts,
- 28:47Speaker 3: like it's still kind of busy around where I live.
- 28:50Speaker 2: But yeah, you get used to it. It's like you're.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Stand out of the ware. You're not like I couldn't
- 28:54Speaker 3: live in I couldn't live where like in downtown or
- 28:57Speaker 3: where I live where Mitch lives. I couldn't live where
- 28:59Speaker 3: my girl lives. Like I couldn't do it.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Yeah, there's adults technically, so bro, I gotcha. I live
- 29:07Speaker 1: like right near Frugal. Oh okay, but like our and closest,
- 29:11Speaker 1: like I like the city and like being able to
- 29:14Speaker 1: walk everywhere. That that's a nice part. Yeah, but like
- 29:18Speaker 1: for us, like.
- 29:19Speaker 4: We want to go out to the bar, you gotta worry,
- 29:21Speaker 4: you gotta play in your route home where cops aren't
- 29:23Speaker 4: going be sick. Oh, because you're driving twenty twenty minutes,
- 29:27Speaker 4: twenty nine.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Minutes, you're not driving, you're having a d D drive.
- 29:31Speaker 1: But yes, yeah, the uh, like the closest city to
- 29:37Speaker 1: us is obviously Philly, and that's like forty five minutes
- 29:39Speaker 1: to an hour, and like if you want to go
- 29:40Speaker 1: to a buddy's house, it's depending on where they're at.
- 29:43Speaker 1: It's twenty minutes away.
- 29:45Speaker 4: There's no from one end of our school's district district
- 29:49Speaker 4: to the other end is like an hour. Yeah, so
- 29:52Speaker 4: if you're on one side and you want to go
- 29:53Speaker 4: to your buddies.
- 29:53Speaker 1: At half hour drive to your buddy's out and it
- 29:56Speaker 1: sucks like luckily, like my like one of my buddies, Colby,
- 30:00Speaker 1: was five ten minutes away, and then my other buddy Andy,
- 30:04Speaker 1: he was on the other side of the school district,
- 30:06Speaker 1: so it took a little bit further to get there.
- 30:07Speaker 1: But yeah, there's like our Walmart has amash hitching posts.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Like that's how that.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Rock, dude. How Mush people make the best fucking food.
- 30:16Speaker 2: They it's unbelievable.
- 30:18Speaker 1: There's a place by us called September Farms, Shady Maple,
- 30:23Speaker 1: Shady Maple, September Farms, like uh, homemade ice cream saying
- 30:28Speaker 1: like that all their cheeses and stuff is unreal.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Al Mush people rock like they're they're weird. It's kind
- 30:34Speaker 2: of a weird crew. But like it, dude, they make
- 30:36Speaker 2: great Like they make great stuff, great food, great furniture.
- 30:40Speaker 2: They can treat nicest people ever.
- 30:42Speaker 1: They can build.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Have you seen the videos the time laps where they're like, hey,
- 30:47Speaker 2: we're gonna they build a barn in one day. Yeah,
- 30:49Speaker 2: and the whole thing just goes up and I'm like
- 30:51Speaker 2: watching it, like.
- 30:52Speaker 1: What They're unreal. They're insane. Like we've had I don't
- 30:56Speaker 1: know if we've had any Homish people doing work for us,
- 30:58Speaker 1: but like in our neighborhood. They they'll build like a
- 31:01Speaker 1: two car garage was like with like a apartment addict
- 31:04Speaker 1: type above it in two weeks and likes it's ready
- 31:07Speaker 1: to like move in, not just like the outer frame
- 31:10Speaker 1: like completely done painted everything.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Does anyone know why Amish people are Amish people? Like
- 31:15Speaker 2: why do they live in the seventeen hundreds?
- 31:18Speaker 1: Is that like a known thing their religion? Really?
- 31:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I've seen this, I've seen the show.
- 31:25Speaker 1: They just come out with that. Uh.
- 31:27Speaker 4: I guess the Amish people are trying to bring in
- 31:31Speaker 4: people from.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Non Amish people.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Making almost too amist because they're losing Amish people.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Are they're recruiting now?
- 31:39Speaker 4: Like yeah, like Scientology, it's definitely just a reality show, but.
- 31:47Speaker 1: That was pretty funny to watch that.
- 31:49Speaker 2: There's an old show and Discovery channel called Amish Mafia.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Oh really, yeah, fifteen minutes from where I live now.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Dude, that's one of the funniest shows ever watched. You
- 31:59Speaker 2: were like even the intro sequence where the I don't
- 32:01Speaker 2: forgot the guy's name, he is the bat and he's like.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Like that Amish Mafia breaking Homish. I think this new show,
- 32:09Speaker 1: they're all twenty thirty minutes away from us. Oh damn, yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 1: we're in it.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I forget that. Pennsylvania is like the center.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Of Pennsylvania Dutch Amish. Yeah, and I think Ohio is
- 32:20Speaker 1: as well.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I think they're kind of fucking everywhere they're Yeah, a
- 32:26Speaker 2: little bit in central Illinois too.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Are there Amish in Pittsburgh? Yeah? Outside of Pittsburgh, Yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 1: there's north of the got you.
- 32:43Speaker 3: I don't know how much of a difference that makes.
- 32:44Speaker 3: When I reached that, I got two more questions from Derek.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Favorite things about visiting Mitch in Nashville, and then the
- 32:53Speaker 3: follow up is who can drink more?
- 32:55Speaker 1: He can drink more? Saying he can drink more?
- 33:01Speaker 4: Uh, favorite things when I'm down here for a while,
- 33:04Speaker 4: I'm visiting.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Yeah, how many times have you been down here? Is
- 33:07Speaker 3: this your second time or your third Okay.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Gotta be hitting Broadway obviously.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean our checklist's already done. Yeah, but it's
- 33:16Speaker 3: twenty four hours.
- 33:18Speaker 4: I mean, I enjoy coming over here because it's like
- 33:20Speaker 4: I watch just about I don't watch, but like the
- 33:24Speaker 4: podcast plus went the Boys by watch see all the
- 33:26Speaker 4: clips and stuff. Make sure I watch this every week.
- 33:30Speaker 4: So it's cool to like come see you guys and everything.
- 33:35Speaker 4: But normally I'm only here for like two or three days.
- 33:38Speaker 4: This time, I'm here for just about a whole.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Week, so like a little bit more. And obviously coming
- 33:43Speaker 1: up to uh Susquehanna, like he knows foul pretty well
- 33:46Speaker 1: and fouls down here. So getting to see him and
- 33:49Speaker 1: just shoot the ship and it's bringing pat down. It
- 33:54Speaker 1: is a good time, which is funny.
- 33:56Speaker 3: He's playing he's playing Xbox right now. Yeah, he's just chilling.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Ye. Last year they were here and we had the
- 34:04Speaker 1: straw smaller stream room, and I don't know what we
- 34:07Speaker 1: were doing if we were at work. We all were
- 34:09Speaker 1: out the night before and he was just salumped on
- 34:13Speaker 1: the couch.
- 34:14Speaker 3: It was easy to fall asleep in the old room.
- 34:16Speaker 3: It was the walls were black, the couch is nice
- 34:19Speaker 3: and cushion.
- 34:19Speaker 1: I think we threw golf in there. Yep.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Big Masters Week too.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I'm pumped.
- 34:26Speaker 2: This is my super Bowl.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Yeah me too.
- 34:29Speaker 4: I used to people would there was something back in
- 34:32Speaker 4: high school, like some event I would go on this
- 34:34Speaker 4: week every year, and I think for four years I
- 34:36Speaker 4: got asked to go, but I said no every year
- 34:39Speaker 4: because of Master's Week.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I was at Link. Yeah.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just a nice I mean everything about it.
- 34:45Speaker 2: It's springtime, everything's blooming, it's getting warm out. I don't
- 34:48Speaker 2: know how it is in Pa if it's still if
- 34:50Speaker 2: it's starting to get there, but it's starting to get there.
- 34:52Speaker 4: I mean it's eighty one day, raining the next day,
- 34:56Speaker 4: and then twenty.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Five thirty degrees the third day.
- 34:59Speaker 3: So it's yeah, I'm so glad we're past weather.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a good thing about here. Once it gets warm,
- 35:04Speaker 2: it really just doesn't drop back.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I wouldn't doubt there's like I mean, Sunday was kind
- 35:09Speaker 1: of chilly because of the rain, like you'll have like
- 35:11Speaker 1: your day after rain chilliness, but then like it's gorgeous
- 35:15Speaker 1: out right now.
- 35:17Speaker 3: This week has been great.
- 35:18Speaker 4: I'm bummed that I got to fly back on Sunday
- 35:20Speaker 4: and miss probably the ending of the Masters.
- 35:22Speaker 2: What's up your flight?
- 35:25Speaker 4: I mean it's not to one two o'clock. But then
- 35:29Speaker 4: flying home, driving.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Home, I think, what a what airline?
- 35:37Speaker 4: I bet you it's probably Spirit Frontier.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, yeah, because I will say sometimes they'll have
- 35:43Speaker 2: like you can get the live TV depending like Southwest.
- 35:45Speaker 3: I know American does it too.
- 35:47Speaker 2: American does it too, so you can watch, but yeah,
- 35:49Speaker 2: hopefully you're not sol there.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I hope not. And it sucks. We're going to be
- 35:53Speaker 1: busy all day Friday and Saturday. I'm sure they'll have
- 35:56Speaker 1: it on like codes and random watching the year.
- 36:00Speaker 3: I honestly it was like twenty nineteen, twenty ten that
- 36:03Speaker 3: Tiger won. I was driving back home to still Water
- 36:07Speaker 3: from Dallas, and I like, I just had to listen
- 36:10Speaker 3: to it on the radio, Like my it wasn't working.
- 36:12Speaker 3: There's some dead spots, I guess in Oklahoma, Like I
- 36:14Speaker 3: couldn't have it on my phone. Yeah, and I just
- 36:17Speaker 3: I had missed. I didn't get to watch them win it,
- 36:19Speaker 3: and which is like a huge regret because first of all,
- 36:21Speaker 3: I'm not even a huge golf guy to begin with,
- 36:23Speaker 3: but like Sunday Masters is like you got a Tiger,
- 36:27Speaker 3: you got to tune in and it was Tiger like
- 36:29Speaker 3: big comeback and I just missed it and everyone's going crazy,
- 36:32Speaker 3: and I'm like, I listened to it. I kind of
- 36:34Speaker 3: heard it.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember cool in my senior year apartment. It
- 36:38Speaker 1: was sick.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, dude.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I uh.
- 36:41Speaker 2: The Masters is like a time we're going to get
- 36:43Speaker 2: a couple buddies together. I think we're gonna make transfusions
- 36:46Speaker 2: on Sunday. Watch the final round. It's the best.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Here's your pick, man.
- 36:51Speaker 2: I I have a couple of picks, but I think, uh.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I like Chef war Man. I know that's crazy. I
- 36:56Speaker 2: think he's uh. He's been battling those bad Thursdays and
- 37:00Speaker 2: I think he's gonna get over the hump. I also
- 37:02Speaker 2: love Cameron Young h those are my two. And then
- 37:05Speaker 2: I like Matsiyama. I like it like for top ten finishes,
- 37:08Speaker 2: I always go with like any Japanese players, they always
- 37:11Speaker 2: kill it. Augusta A little inside the track for you guys.
- 37:14Speaker 4: I think there's a few amateurs. There's quite a few
- 37:17Speaker 4: amateurs that are foreigners.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Yeah, game's grown, man, It's like the NBA. It's like
- 37:24Speaker 2: all the good I've noticed that I haven't been outside
- 37:26Speaker 2: the NBA. I've started looking like, who all the stars are?
- 37:28Speaker 2: It's all the Europeans. Yeah, they're all coming. They're taking over.
- 37:34Speaker 1: He played.
- 37:34Speaker 4: He's been falling apart every Sunday.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Though I don't like him. I don't have I don't
- 37:39Speaker 2: have him for this year.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I think Justin Rose is going to do really well.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I've justin Rose top five. I'm thinking about put him
- 37:44Speaker 2: to win too, just to sprinkles.
- 37:46Speaker 3: What what about Victor Hoblin? How's he gonna do?
- 37:48Speaker 1: Probably not great?
- 37:51Speaker 2: He might not be in the field. Uh no, no, no,
- 37:54Speaker 2: he definitely is. He's been. He's all right. He's kind of.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Like he had such a strong star talking about started.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I only like him because.
- 38:02Speaker 2: He always he also always looks like he's high. Have
- 38:06Speaker 2: you're seeing that? Yeah? Everywhere he goes he has like
- 38:08Speaker 2: the droopy eyes and he has like a big old
- 38:10Speaker 2: like smile on him.
- 38:11Speaker 1: That's just the Dutch for you.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it might be. But he also, like you could tell,
- 38:16Speaker 2: he starts geeking out during the interviews.
- 38:20Speaker 3: That's what happens when you spend four years and still
- 38:21Speaker 3: water man you happy. I'm not sure he was there
- 38:25Speaker 3: four years though.
- 38:25Speaker 1: They's kind of a stick of golf too, not like
- 38:28Speaker 1: stick stick, but like he could probably you guys will
- 38:32Speaker 1: probably be an all right match. Yeah.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I played, I went out and played
- 38:36Speaker 2: last week and we're getting around. We're getting the game back.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Three put a eight times that you know, kill a round,
- 38:42Speaker 2: but even on skins, which felt good. But yeah, yeah,
- 38:45Speaker 2: we're back in it. It's golfing season, it is, and
- 38:47Speaker 2: then it's gonna be football season.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Yeah, right around baseball season.
- 38:50Speaker 1: To me, baseball season just started.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Yeah, when is it time to overreact about your baseball team?
- 38:58Speaker 2: Because Cubs are well just want we're five and six
- 39:01Speaker 2: and I feel like I'm yeah, hand through the wall after.
- 39:04Speaker 3: I overreact every game. That's kind of the experience.
- 39:07Speaker 1: That's the fun.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred sixty two games of pure stress is
- 39:11Speaker 3: the right should be. They probably don't overreact until like July.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Post ulcer break. Yeah.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Start in seasons when you kind of know what you're
- 39:20Speaker 3: gonna get. Yeah, the occasional miracle like second half run.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you think about that fight? The other night?
- 39:29Speaker 3: Was the Braves the Braves?
- 39:32Speaker 1: Who was angels?
- 39:32Speaker 3: Braves and Angels? Yeah, that was insane.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Then the ball, Yeah, big old b Is he gonna
- 39:39Speaker 1: throw this at him at some point or is he
- 39:40Speaker 1: just gonna use it as a weapon, which I thought
- 39:43Speaker 1: was like.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that was insane. Have you all ever been at
- 39:46Speaker 3: a game where they're like a fight happened. I've always yea.
- 39:50Speaker 2: At college to Tennessee got into like bench is cleared.
- 39:53Speaker 2: I think it was against Fandy. I always forget it
- 39:55Speaker 2: was like my sophomore year and they bench is cleared.
- 39:58Speaker 1: That's dope.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty awesome.
- 40:00Speaker 1: We never we weren't a big go to baseball games.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I really went to a few here and there.
- 40:07Speaker 4: Because your team was the Mets. I mean mine was
- 40:09Speaker 4: the Yankees back in the day.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I just like Jose and David Wright. Those are
- 40:13Speaker 1: my two guys.
- 40:14Speaker 3: I mean, well those guys too, But I was just
- 40:19Speaker 3: I was trying to think of an angle. But we
- 40:21Speaker 3: talked about last time about the two k like eight
- 40:23Speaker 3: or something.
- 40:23Speaker 2: With j Yeah, Yankees fans are insane. I was with
- 40:29Speaker 2: dinner with one last night and he was like, yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 2: we have a solid team, but we really need a
- 40:34Speaker 2: six through nine in the lineup. I was like, what
- 40:36Speaker 2: are you talking about? You guys are like favorites to
- 40:38Speaker 2: win the World Series. He's like, yeah, but you know,
- 40:40Speaker 2: we just got no bats on the back end. And
- 40:41Speaker 2: I'm like, you have probably the best team in baseball,
- 40:44Speaker 2: maybe behind the Dodgers. But I was like, you need
- 40:46Speaker 2: to stop. Let's get back to earth here for a minute.
- 40:49Speaker 3: You know what's so funny with me being frustrated every
- 40:51Speaker 3: game for the Rangers is I'm kind of living out
- 40:53Speaker 3: the old the age old question that it's like, would
- 40:56Speaker 3: you would you sacrifice like a million losing seasons for
- 41:01Speaker 3: your team to win one championship. The Rangers have been
- 41:04Speaker 3: terrible since like twenty fifteen, but in twenty twenty three
- 41:07Speaker 3: they won it all and ever since then, the last
- 41:09Speaker 3: couple of years they've just been mid average. Like I'm
- 41:12Speaker 3: truly living out like sacrificing one championship for a bunch
- 41:16Speaker 3: of his bid.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah, Baseball, have you got so to kind of go
- 41:19Speaker 1: back to the Yankees? What are your guys opinion on
- 41:22Speaker 1: the role call that they do?
- 41:24Speaker 2: Oh, I think it's playing.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's stupid.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I think it's cool to like do that with all
- 41:30Speaker 1: the players, But the guy.
- 41:31Speaker 3: That runs it, he's awful.
- 41:33Speaker 1: He run he is the most like look at me,
- 41:37Speaker 1: I'm the coolest guy. Like he's the most arrogant fuck
- 41:40Speaker 1: of all time. It's like, bro, you are not that.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Have you seen the video of him, the guy who
- 41:45Speaker 3: did it before him, Like it was a different guy
- 41:47Speaker 3: doing it, a little cooler looking because he didn't look
- 41:49Speaker 3: like a little nerd. Yeah, but that guy who does
- 41:52Speaker 3: it now was like next to him like kind of
- 41:54Speaker 3: trying to like ride his coattails. And now he's got
- 41:56Speaker 3: to doing it. I'm like, all right. Also, if I
- 41:58Speaker 3: was if I was like Aaron Judge or anybody in
- 42:00Speaker 3: the field, I would get so annoyed. I would just
- 42:02Speaker 3: be like cringing every time they're like yo y, like
- 42:06Speaker 3: turn around, like tip your cap.
- 42:07Speaker 2: He does like the it's the most New York looking
- 42:10Speaker 2: person possibly ever. When he was he has the rimless
- 42:14Speaker 2: shades on and like the old school ball cap.
- 42:16Speaker 1: You know. He walks around New York. He walks around
- 42:19Speaker 1: the stadium like people know me, people know me.
- 42:23Speaker 3: I am I am him, I'm the roll call guy.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's like, bro, you like you kind of suck.
- 42:29Speaker 3: No that I'm not about that.
- 42:31Speaker 2: It's very stupid.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I think the idea of it is cool, like just
- 42:35Speaker 1: kind of getting their attention, like.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but the application, it's the execution, Yeah, yeah,
- 42:40Speaker 2: it's it's.
- 42:41Speaker 3: It just like I don't even know. I was gonna
- 42:43Speaker 3: say for college it might make more sense, but I'm
- 42:46Speaker 3: just like trying to envision, like if I if I
- 42:48Speaker 3: was in the field and I had like this grown
- 42:50Speaker 3: ass man going to show, It's like, bro, shut up,
- 42:55Speaker 3: they gotta be making fun of him in the locker room.
- 42:58Speaker 3: Talk about it.
- 42:58Speaker 2: You gotta think, right, They're like, I feel like maybe
- 43:01Speaker 2: it gets endearing after every home game. You're just like
- 43:03Speaker 2: eventually you're like, fuck, yeah, but.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Did you imagine Jeter doing it for twenty years now?
- 43:10Speaker 1: That sucks?
- 43:11Speaker 2: Yeah, And hey now you can wear a beard as
- 43:13Speaker 2: a Yankee, to which I think I was joking my buddy.
- 43:16Speaker 2: I was like, George Steinbrenner's rolling in his grave right now.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but maybe this is their year.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I hope it's not.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Yah, the Rangers yards again.
- 43:27Speaker 1: You got any more Derek questions?
- 43:29Speaker 2: That was it?
- 43:29Speaker 3: I mean the third one was answered pretty quickly.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Who could drink?
- 43:33Speaker 3: Who could drink more?
- 43:34Speaker 4: Yeah, drinking more than you are to begin with.
- 43:40Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't drink like I used to. The
- 43:44Speaker 1: interns took me out last year and I got fucked.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I got I mean ship, I was right there
- 43:50Speaker 2: with it.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Have we talked about that at all?
- 43:53Speaker 2: Yeah? I think we have on here. Where I was
- 43:55Speaker 2: looking for I was, I was walking while I left
- 43:57Speaker 2: the bar. It was like lights. I knew his time ago,
- 44:00Speaker 2: so I was like, yeah, is that barstool? So this
- 44:06Speaker 2: is like after I think Mitch and his buddies departed
- 44:08Speaker 2: and uh so I was like, had my phone here
- 44:10Speaker 2: and I was definitely kind of doing a little stumble,
- 44:12Speaker 2: but I was looking for my uber. I was like
- 44:15Speaker 2: looking down as he's texting me, and I just hit
- 44:17Speaker 2: a ledge and sprung out and it saved myself on
- 44:21Speaker 2: the backside of the hand. It all went right here.
- 44:23Speaker 2: But it's so bad that this is a year ago
- 44:25Speaker 2: just about I think we're like we're coming up to
- 44:27Speaker 2: like a year on it in June. I think it's
- 44:29Speaker 2: going to be there forever and shot.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Anytime I see that Stuard just takes me back to
- 44:33Speaker 1: that hangover I had and how down for the count.
- 44:35Speaker 1: I was that, like, hands down, worst hangover in my life.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you were brutal like that Monday coming back. Yeah,
- 44:41Speaker 2: multi day. I had my first multi day hangover a
- 44:45Speaker 2: couple what was it? Like, I had a Saturday and
- 44:48Speaker 2: Sunday hangover and it was like that was a game changer.
- 44:52Speaker 1: You feel like you're just kind of stuck like that forever,
- 44:54Speaker 1: like it's this life now, I'm just kna. Yeah.
- 44:55Speaker 2: The second day waking up is definitely like a oh my,
- 44:58Speaker 2: actually just getting sick, did not eat enough?
- 45:01Speaker 1: Or am I actually fucked? Yeah, A liquor or just
- 45:05Speaker 1: beer or everything. It was it was literally everything like
- 45:09Speaker 1: they we they came over. It was chef Ryan Matt,
- 45:15Speaker 1: Big Cheese, cheese and cade. This is when they left
- 45:18Speaker 1: you out right.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, I was trying not to rehash it
- 45:21Speaker 3: because we've rehashed it.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 3: I can't believe it's been a year.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I would like to think we've came a lot. We've
- 45:28Speaker 1: we've grown a lot from there.
- 45:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean we we made up like a few
- 45:33Speaker 3: weeks later.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but we like we just had like whiskey everywhere,
- 45:37Speaker 1: like we were literally just drinking.
- 45:38Speaker 2: When we showed up, they were already at it. Yeah,
- 45:40Speaker 2: it was it was solid. And that's when we were
- 45:43Speaker 2: sitting there and like I just met. I knew Matt
- 45:46Speaker 2: from college, but I just we're just kind of meeting
- 45:48Speaker 2: everyone else. After first week, I fuck up my hand.
- 45:51Speaker 2: I come back into work on Monday and I'm like,
- 45:53Speaker 2: dude's one weekend that Yeah, of that guy.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Is there any thing you want to ask us, Nate?
- 46:02Speaker 1: I didn't come up with any questions. I did have.
- 46:07Speaker 4: I was planning on whenever. That's I'm trying to think.
- 46:13Speaker 4: It was a while ago when you guys were talking
- 46:16Speaker 4: about the Gatorade in the snow, but I started to
- 46:20Speaker 4: have notes, but then I was like, I'm not going
- 46:21Speaker 4: to go through.
- 46:22Speaker 1: I definitely had some throughout. But I guess it's.
- 46:25Speaker 4: Almost a year now that you guys have been doing this.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Yeah, we're I mean honestly miss.
- 46:30Speaker 3: What is it episode? That's forty three weeks that we've
- 46:34Speaker 3: done it, but we've missed too, Yeah, we've missed. So
- 46:36Speaker 3: it's forty technically forty five seven weeks out we got it.
- 46:39Speaker 3: We started I think the same week or a week
- 46:41Speaker 3: before or after for the dads yep, so it was
- 46:45Speaker 3: like right around that same time. And so yeah, it's crazy.
- 46:50Speaker 3: I think we've been doing it for a year.
- 46:52Speaker 2: I think you guys might have missed three weeks because
- 46:54Speaker 2: we're at forty four and I think you guys started
- 46:56Speaker 2: like three weeks before, or maybe that was two.
- 46:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to think we missed. We missed a Christmas
- 47:01Speaker 1: one right before Carolyn because I was gone. We missed
- 47:05Speaker 1: the beat the original B Team one.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Uh, that one will stay gone for a long time.
- 47:12Speaker 1: There's still like I'm still pissed about that for other reasons.
- 47:17Speaker 3: We fumbled, Yeah, but it could we could have handled it.
- 47:22Speaker 3: I mean we it. Yeah, we're we've.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Already buried these gonna have to rehash everything.
- 47:32Speaker 3: But yeah, it's crazy that it's almost been a year.
- 47:34Speaker 3: I know that just last year's I still feel like, uh,
- 47:36Speaker 3: y'all are new.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Yeah, they were coming up on a year.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Like, how do you feel like it's been a year.
- 47:41Speaker 3: I'm not reflective, but.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Like, dude, it's flown by, which is a good thing.
- 47:48Speaker 3: But like, y'all are still the new guys to me,
- 47:50Speaker 3: and you've been here a year.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, it's wild, Like it's just cool to see
- 47:54Speaker 2: and it's like it's been a fun year. I'm really
- 47:56Speaker 2: excited to see where it goes. And a lot of
- 47:59Speaker 2: cool stuff it's just you get to walk in here
- 48:01Speaker 2: and who knows who you're gonna see, you're gonna meet,
- 48:03Speaker 2: what you're gonna get to do, Like it's dope as fuck.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Like there's just never a time where you can be like,
- 48:07Speaker 2: oh this this really does suck in the grand scheme
- 48:10Speaker 2: of things. Do you want a preview who's coming with
- 48:12Speaker 2: you to Supercross?
- 48:14Speaker 1: Well, I was gonna say before we get into that,
- 48:15Speaker 1: because we can talk about that, but in what is
- 48:20Speaker 1: it April? In like two months, you guys are gonna
- 48:22Speaker 1: be have the interns below you guys, I know that's
- 48:26Speaker 1: what's gonna be crazy.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll see how they do.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Are you gonna be kind of I feel like Matt
- 48:32Speaker 1: is gonna be like kind of like the for I
- 48:36Speaker 1: think for a day. So Matt, if you listen to this,
- 48:38Speaker 1: it's not a full thing. I think if you it'll
- 48:40Speaker 1: be a day that he'll kind of like try to
- 48:42Speaker 1: big bro like uh not Haze but like Hayes. Yeah exactly, yeah, exactly.
- 48:51Speaker 1: He's gonna do that for a day and then it's
- 48:52Speaker 1: like it'll be chill.
- 48:53Speaker 2: I think, so yeah, I think Matt's gonna try to
- 48:55Speaker 2: fuck with him. We do have a plan, and if
- 48:57Speaker 2: any of these kids in up getting it here this,
- 49:00Speaker 2: then they can get in on the plan. But the
- 49:01Speaker 2: plane is, uh, we're gonna have someone else with the interns.
- 49:05Speaker 2: I don't want to reveal who it is yet.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Because I feel like, have we said it already?
- 49:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys might have. I was gonna make him
- 49:11Speaker 2: a return video. I guess that's fine, but yeah, Kid's
- 49:14Speaker 2: coming back. We're like, hey, Kid, like, let's have a
- 49:16Speaker 2: little bit. Kid's just gonna be an absolute jackass these
- 49:19Speaker 2: guys for a couple of days. I'm like, hey, don't
- 49:20Speaker 2: look him in the eyes or anything. And then we're
- 49:23Speaker 2: gonna on one of them finally looks in the eyes
- 49:25Speaker 2: Kate's and be like, why do you look me in
- 49:26Speaker 2: the eyes?
- 49:27Speaker 1: I feel like that'd be funny for the first week
- 49:29Speaker 1: and then like when we go out with him that weekend.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it would be like a day bit. Maybe
- 49:32Speaker 2: I'll be like, hey, by the way, Kate, like the
- 49:35Speaker 2: whole football thing, like his brain might be just a
- 49:37Speaker 2: little screwed up.
- 49:39Speaker 3: None of these bids that we're gonna be able to do,
- 49:41Speaker 3: we're gonna be like long lasting.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:43Speaker 3: I would be like, yeah, if we're gonna get tired
- 49:45Speaker 3: of doing them.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Weren't you guys gonna do a Scared Straight thing with
- 49:47Speaker 2: us where it was like, you guys are gonna be
- 49:49Speaker 2: like you guys are just be like really hard on
- 49:52Speaker 2: us for the first day and we're're I don't even
- 49:53Speaker 2: remember playing anything like that one.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Somebody was gonna be like that kind of like how
- 49:58Speaker 1: kid may do that. I don't like, maybe Jack or
- 50:02Speaker 1: somebody was gonna kind of be a little bit like
- 50:04Speaker 1: Scared Straight type.
- 50:05Speaker 3: But I mean, honestly, the hardest thing we put you
- 50:08Speaker 3: through was like the the ambush interviews on yeah, on
- 50:11Speaker 3: this pod.
- 50:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that was no. Yeah, the crazier one was like
- 50:16Speaker 2: ten minutes and you're trying to get your bearings, like, hey,
- 50:18Speaker 2: we're gonna go on the bus. That was like.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Ship that was That was like all the videos you
- 50:24Speaker 1: just kind of like because you weren't allowed to see, Yeah,
- 50:26Speaker 1: Deult sit down. Yeah, you had to like get low.
- 50:29Speaker 3: Y in y'all suits. We got to make them wear
- 50:31Speaker 3: suits for the first again.
- 50:32Speaker 1: We got to We'll have to put some Easter eggs
- 50:34Speaker 1: in here for them to listen to or if they
- 50:38Speaker 1: decide to or not.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Yeah, if they do not then they're shout out Bobby Whitley.
- 50:43Speaker 2: He was I don't think any of us were of
- 50:45Speaker 2: war suits. It wasn't for him. He called me after that. Absolutely.
- 50:48Speaker 2: By the way, they just told our buddy Bobby, who's
- 50:51Speaker 2: a big tier one we went to college with. He
- 50:54Speaker 2: like texted me and Matt He's like, by the way,
- 50:55Speaker 2: you guys knew wear suits. And I listened through and
- 50:58Speaker 2: I was like, oh, ship.
- 50:59Speaker 1: It was kind of sick to like, uh, I think
- 51:01Speaker 1: we said you gotta bring Celsius for like the.
- 51:04Speaker 2: First Celsius sour patch watermelon. Yeah, and they ended up
- 51:08Speaker 2: on your desk and who doesn't.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you do have to catch all a desk. Yeah,
- 51:12Speaker 1: but that'll be It'll be like last summer was a
- 51:17Speaker 1: vibe because obviously we got along with everybody and it
- 51:20Speaker 1: was just like just more boys that hang out with.
- 51:24Speaker 1: But then Geese obviously had to leave because you're still
- 51:27Speaker 1: in school, and then Kate going to back to football.
- 51:29Speaker 1: But like we're all still super close with Kate and
- 51:31Speaker 1: like he literally just shows up whenever he wants to,
- 51:34Speaker 1: and it's.
- 51:34Speaker 3: Like, yeah, I said's still around.
- 51:37Speaker 2: I'm just hoping the kids. I hope it just that
- 51:39Speaker 2: same kind of camaraderie and vibe that we had last year,
- 51:41Speaker 2: because I think we all felt it too. I'm hoping
- 51:44Speaker 2: that just finds its way back.
- 51:46Speaker 1: It's like a I'm sure for you because I remember
- 51:49Speaker 1: my first day like I was shipping bricks. I'm sure
- 51:52Speaker 1: you guys are too, especially like kind of being that
- 51:54Speaker 1: the inaugural uh inter class.
- 51:58Speaker 2: There definitely is just like a feeling of like, you know,
- 52:00Speaker 2: you're just like, oh, that's Taylor and that's Taylor and Will.
- 52:04Speaker 2: When you walk in, it's like there's no other way
- 52:06Speaker 2: to really shake it if you just know the pod
- 52:07Speaker 2: or something or a group of titans, famial whole life.
- 52:09Speaker 2: So it's like holy shit, like it's just a little surreal.
- 52:12Speaker 2: And then they're like, hey, you're gonna go on the
- 52:13Speaker 2: bus in ten, get up there, do that. Then you're
- 52:16Speaker 2: sitting down there like all right, make a clip today,
- 52:17Speaker 2: and you're just like all right, hope I don't fuck
- 52:19Speaker 2: it up. Yeah, but it was, I mean it's like
- 52:21Speaker 2: the most fun but yeah, like nervous thing you can do.
- 52:25Speaker 2: And then but that's a really good intro because then
- 52:26Speaker 2: when people come in, you don't feel nearly as like
- 52:28Speaker 2: awkward or something you know, you get kind of used
- 52:32Speaker 2: to it quick.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Yeah, not that it's like low stakes, but when you
- 52:35Speaker 3: realize how like chill chill it is, it's like all right,
- 52:39Speaker 3: selling more.
- 52:40Speaker 1: And like everybody's looking over your work before you it
- 52:44Speaker 1: like it eventually ends up getting posted. So it's not
- 52:46Speaker 1: like you're just gonna make it and then it's gonna
- 52:48Speaker 1: get posted immediately, like you're gonna get notes, and it's
- 52:51Speaker 1: not like it's.
- 52:52Speaker 3: You're not gonna be hung out to dry.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Yes, exactly, for sure.
- 52:55Speaker 3: We weren't like waiting to see y'all fuck up. Like
- 52:57Speaker 3: it wasn't like.
- 52:57Speaker 1: A yeah for this will be the first question if
- 53:03Speaker 1: the interns are watching, what is his name? And if
- 53:07Speaker 1: you come back, if you would get hired and you
- 53:09Speaker 1: come in, you have to find out or you have
- 53:12Speaker 1: to tell me what my brother's name is. We've said
- 53:14Speaker 1: it five times and it's in the title of this video.
- 53:17Speaker 2: So oh, like leave one an episode.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Yeah, oh that'd be sick. But yeah, So going back
- 53:23Speaker 1: to the beginning of the pod, the reason the is
- 53:25Speaker 1: here is for Supercross and our dad did it, and
- 53:29Speaker 1: like we had talked about it already, but Will and
- 53:32Speaker 1: Taylor are busy. This weekend. So Delaney Walker is coming
- 53:37Speaker 1: to Supercross with the Carsley fam and I'm just gonna
- 53:43Speaker 1: fucking say it now, there's a good chance that we
- 53:46Speaker 1: are having a Delaney Does series vlog series. We're gonna
- 53:51Speaker 1: see how this first one goes. Let us know in
- 53:54Speaker 1: the comments what you want to see Delaney do, because
- 53:58Speaker 1: Delaney is damn near down for everything anything it seems like,
- 54:01Speaker 1: and he is a.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Good unlimited possibilities with Delaney Walker, he is like one
- 54:09Speaker 2: of the just being around him is one of the
- 54:10Speaker 2: most entertaining human beings you can you need. You're gonna
- 54:14Speaker 2: meet him tomorrow. Freda dude, he is best. He was
- 54:20Speaker 2: my fantasy partner this year, and so he would come
- 54:23Speaker 2: in and we would talk ball for an hour while
- 54:25Speaker 2: they were waiting for like the college football locker room
- 54:28Speaker 2: was getting done, and me and him would talk shop
- 54:30Speaker 2: on players and stuff. He's just like the most humble guy,
- 54:34Speaker 2: like just funny, dude, funny shit.
- 54:36Speaker 1: The best part is so like they'll be done recording
- 54:39Speaker 1: Will and Taylor up in the front of the shop,
- 54:41Speaker 1: Delaney like, fuck y'all, I'm gonna go, and he'll just
- 54:44Speaker 1: hold court like ten of us and just telling stories
- 54:48Speaker 1: like making fun of mat making fun of Jared, making
- 54:50Speaker 1: fun of anybody, Like anybody can get it, but it's
- 54:53Speaker 1: not like a malicious make fun of us. And yeah,
- 54:57Speaker 1: like he'll just keep prying. You're like asking you questions
- 54:59Speaker 1: like why do you do that? Like what the fuck?
- 55:01Speaker 1: But like he's he's the best, And so I guess
- 55:05Speaker 1: I'm kind of spearheading the Delaney does thing. So is
- 55:09Speaker 1: this first one gonna be Delaney does super gross? Yeah?
- 55:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I give can I give three that I think
- 55:15Speaker 2: would it be a banger?
- 55:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 55:16Speaker 2: I'll just these are three off the top of my head. Golf,
- 55:19Speaker 2: Delaney does golf would be a good one. Dulaney does
- 55:22Speaker 2: Marty Gras Delaney. And then I'm also gonna go with
- 55:27Speaker 2: Delaney does alligator hunting.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Or maybe not alligator hunting, but the what is it?
- 55:34Speaker 1: Can noodling? Noodling?
- 55:35Speaker 2: What's that?
- 55:36Speaker 1: That's where you?
- 55:37Speaker 2: So? Is it in New Orleans or is it in Florida?
- 55:41Speaker 1: Yeah? So they're like catfish, like burrow they grab that.
- 55:45Speaker 1: They just fucking puts your arm in there and it's
- 55:47Speaker 1: either a snapping turtle or a catfish and the catfish
- 55:50Speaker 1: like eats your entire arm. Yeah, and then you just
- 55:53Speaker 1: pull it up. That's actually a really good idea, dude,
- 55:57Speaker 1: it's just whether or not Delaney would be down for that.
- 55:59Speaker 2: I think you can put Delaney in any kind of
- 56:01Speaker 2: situation and you're just gonna get gold from it. I
- 56:04Speaker 2: he's that entertaining of a person that you're like, there's
- 56:07Speaker 2: not a lot yet.
- 56:08Speaker 1: To do, and like he gets along with everybody, and
- 56:11Speaker 1: everybody like you gotta be a fucked up person not
- 56:13Speaker 1: to get along with de Laney. Yeah, or just an
- 56:15Speaker 1: absolute dickhead, dude.
- 56:17Speaker 2: I remember he was talking about we were talking about
- 56:19Speaker 2: a little bit ago, but like he did, Ah, what
- 56:21Speaker 2: was the clip. I think they're in Saint Louis or something.
- 56:23Speaker 2: He was talking about the fact that he does he
- 56:26Speaker 2: does Civil Warrian acting. Yeah, yeah, Like that's insane.
- 56:31Speaker 1: He's like one of the most Like Delaney grew up
- 56:34Speaker 1: in like Compton, like inner like not I don't know
- 56:37Speaker 1: what to say inner city, California, but like gang area
- 56:41Speaker 1: of California. And he's like a redneck yet heart, like
- 56:45Speaker 1: he's got a farm out here, like he wants like
- 56:47Speaker 1: he's got all of this land.
- 56:48Speaker 4: A crackup at his when he's talks about when he
- 56:52Speaker 4: goes like, I'm talking Penny picture Tuesdays.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, he loves just wear Birksah.
- 57:01Speaker 4: What was it?
- 57:01Speaker 1: Navy blue? Go to the Navy Blue store and JP's
- 57:05Speaker 1: like old navy.
- 57:06Speaker 2: He was like, oh yeah, fuck dude, I don't I
- 57:10Speaker 2: don't even know if I should say this, but I was.
- 57:13Speaker 2: I talked to Delaney about like I was looking to
- 57:15Speaker 2: buy like an AR fifteen, and I'm not gonna put
- 57:17Speaker 2: numbers out there, but I was like, hey, do you
- 57:19Speaker 2: have like because I have a lot of buddies who like,
- 57:21Speaker 2: they'll always sell their guns and stuff. And he's like,
- 57:24Speaker 2: you got to tell your hesitand I'm like, I don't know, worries.
- 57:25Speaker 2: I'm like, how many you got? He says a number.
- 57:28Speaker 2: The dude is loaded. I don't ever go try to
- 57:31Speaker 2: rob Delaney Walker.
- 57:32Speaker 1: He I asked him one time if he was a
- 57:34Speaker 1: Gymsday Prepper and he's like, low key is dude.
- 57:37Speaker 2: I was like, how why do you need all those?
- 57:39Speaker 2: And he was like you never know?
- 57:40Speaker 1: Man.
- 57:41Speaker 2: I was like, oh shit, and now like Delaney is
- 57:44Speaker 2: just I can know, yeah, you never know. He's like,
- 57:46Speaker 2: I want the whole squad ready, yeah, to if I
- 57:49Speaker 2: need him I was like, dude, you live in Dixon.
- 57:52Speaker 1: There's nothing out there.
- 57:53Speaker 2: No, it's just woods Brooks.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Job is going to be out in Dixon. And she's like,
- 57:59Speaker 1: there's like a storm or something. You think I could
- 58:01Speaker 1: just go to Delaney's house, like just shack up there
- 58:04Speaker 1: for the night. I'm like, I'm sure Delane wouldn't care.
- 58:06Speaker 1: His house is big enough that he probably wouldn't even
- 58:08Speaker 1: know that you're there. Yeah, Like the Barn Dominium, Like,
- 58:11Speaker 1: Delaney is the best and it's a series that I'm
- 58:14Speaker 1: kind of excited for if it takes off and the
- 58:18Speaker 1: right conversations are had. But I think it could crush
- 58:22Speaker 1: and Delaney anytime we can do stuff with Delaney, Like,
- 58:25Speaker 1: I know all of us jump at the fact of
- 58:27Speaker 1: doing it. I know Will and Taylor are because they're
- 58:29Speaker 1: trying to get some DEI in here. But yeah, I
- 58:32Speaker 1: think I think it'd.
- 58:33Speaker 3: Be sick definitely. That's just like Delaney will drive whatever. Yeah, yeah,
- 58:37Speaker 3: he'll be hyped.
- 58:38Speaker 2: So he's one of those people that's like, it's what
- 58:40Speaker 2: I envisioned, very high floor. Yeah, he's what I envisioned.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Like mid two thousand TV reality TV show producers they
- 58:47Speaker 2: look for in a guy someone they're like, hey, we know,
- 58:49Speaker 2: we don't need to think too much about it. We
- 58:50Speaker 2: just need cameras around him with the whatever we're doing
- 58:53Speaker 2: in work, going to have a show.
- 58:55Speaker 1: And it's not not in the sense of like he's
- 58:56Speaker 1: going to cause drama, but he's just entertaining.
- 58:58Speaker 3: He's just entertaining, naturally entertaining.
- 59:01Speaker 1: And just the funniest and nicest dude.
- 59:03Speaker 4: Like, Yeah, I'm looking forward to meeting him.
- 59:06Speaker 1: He's the best, He's he fucking rips. How long we
- 59:11Speaker 1: been going, Derek? Any closing remarks, Nate, I don't think so.
- 59:17Speaker 1: It's been a pleasure.
- 59:19Speaker 3: Thanks for coming on.
- 59:20Speaker 1: We'll have to get you on again, whenever that may be. Yeah,
- 59:24Speaker 1: we have more people come back down again. Here's a
- 59:28Speaker 1: fucking Tuesday or something again. But yeah, that's all we
- 59:32Speaker 1: got for episode forty three, the Nate Carsley episode.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Jot that down, Yeah, drot that down.
- 59:39Speaker 1: That'll be question number one when you come up and
- 59:42Speaker 1: talk to me.
- 59:44Speaker 4: Oh and uh, I guess you guys will be watching
- 59:48Speaker 4: this on Friday. So yesterday would have been my mom's
- 59:50Speaker 4: sixtieth birthday, birthday, birthday.
- 59:54Speaker 1: She's gonna I haven't gotten her a gift yet. But
- 59:58Speaker 1: I don't need anything. I'm just so happy all my
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: boys are together.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: It's like hear that ten times you got her the
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: best thing.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but appreciate you all. We'll catch you on next week.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: H
