- 0:10Yes, welcome to our Thunder Down Under preview
- 0:16show. The new mode that we're going for season
- 0:192026 Alistair. It's getting harder and harder
- 0:22to do these shows twice a week. with the team
- 0:25being in the absolute doldrums at zero and five.
- 0:28But yes, we are here to look at the Kansas City
- 0:30Chiefs coming off the bye. We are they are four
- 0:34and oh, we are zero and five offensive EPA. They
- 0:38are looking very good sitting fourth in the league.
- 0:40We said dead last. And dare I say it, Alistair,
- 0:44this is now the Kenneth Walker led Kansas City
- 0:47Chiefs, not the Patrick Mahomes and Kelsey led.
- 0:52Kansas City Chiefs. What say you about the usurper
- 0:56being signed in free agency and now having 537
- 1:00rushing yards through four games and looking
- 1:03like a genuine explosive threat that they've
- 1:06never really had, even though they've won three
- 1:09Super Bowls. How are you feeling? Well, I reckon
- 1:13this could get ugly because as you said, man,
- 1:164 -0 against 0 -5. Andy Reid has found the elixir
- 1:21of life man he's just a going I am the walrus
- 1:24a goo goo goo jubes he's he has never really
- 1:28had a running game in Kansas City man we gotta
- 1:31go back to Philly Eagle days and the Sean McCoy
- 1:34and earlier than that to find some good running
- 1:36backs and you know what they're running it. They're
- 1:40running the ball on 48 % of plays, their highest
- 1:43ever under Reid. And what's really good is to
- 1:46see a coach lean into a new skillset. He's a
- 1:49fantastic coach, Andy Reid, isn't he? They're
- 1:52doing all sorts of personnel stuff, Jack, full
- 1:54house packages where they've got Kenneth Walk
- 1:57in the backfield with two other guys split out
- 1:59next to him. They're getting their defensive
- 2:01tackle, Caiaris Tonga. in there as a fullback
- 2:04they're playing jumbo set offensive lineman and
- 2:06Kenneth Murray is one of my favorite backs to
- 2:09watch in the league because I have a bit of a
- 2:10bias for guys who do jump cut and are elusive
- 2:14and he's a jitterbug and he hits the outside
- 2:16and he breaks through tackles so they look really
- 2:20good Jack man Kelsey's in the honeymoon phase
- 2:23of his marriage Mahomes is back to being Mahomes
- 2:25coming off the ACL and they look like they've
- 2:28also drafted very well so I'm pretty nervous.
- 2:33Oh, well, I mean, Kenneth Walker looks fantastic.
- 2:36He's just sort of taken the season that he had
- 2:39in Seattle last year and is going at 6 .2, already
- 2:42four touchdowns. If he can, and the big caveat
- 2:45when we did our previews of the Kansas City Chiefs
- 2:47was if he could stay healthy, I think they're
- 2:49going to, they're going to look like an absolute
- 2:51weapon. And so far that he is. So let me put
- 2:55this to you then Alistair. Let's, let's just
- 2:57talk about how to stop them straight away. Is
- 2:59now stopping Kenneth Walker, the A1. Is that
- 3:02what we need to do? Do we need to sell out against
- 3:04the run? You know, heavy boxes, you know, Caldwell,
- 3:08Aboigbe, Tartt, Tomlinson, they're going to have
- 3:13big games? Or does that just leave us open for
- 3:17Patrick Mahomes to have a really big game against
- 3:19us? I'm so worried. It probably does, but I still
- 3:23think you have to do it, especially because they've
- 3:25lost Tyquan Thornton, who's randomly had a really
- 3:27good start to the season, is their primary deep
- 3:29threat. They do have some depth, so it's not
- 3:32like they are without weapons, but I would start
- 3:34with that being the focus of the game plan. But
- 3:36this is also a really big game for Chris O 'Leary.
- 3:40I reckon he'll be quite nervous. He's facing
- 3:43Mahomes, and Jesse Minter's defense did quite
- 3:46well against Patrick Mahomes. I think O 'Leary
- 3:48should just feel it out the way he's been playing
- 3:50at the moment, which has been perfect. Stay in
- 3:53your quarter shell a little bit, see if you can
- 3:55defend the run with a lighter box first. And
- 3:58if you need to do some weak rotation, cover three
- 4:00and put an extra man in the box post snap, so
- 4:02be it. But I'd love to see Jack first, if we
- 4:05can just stop the run, basically doing what we've
- 4:07been doing for the last two weeks, because we're
- 4:09a top five unit in EPA per play defending the
- 4:12run. What do you think? We are. Yeah, I agree.
- 4:15It's bizarre to be talking about the Kansas City
- 4:17Chiefs and how to play them and not talk about,
- 4:20what do we always say, the cage rush to make
- 4:22sure Patrick behind stays in the pocket and have
- 4:25pocket rush discipline and all these types of
- 4:27things. Or bracket Kelsey, you know? Yeah, bracket
- 4:30Kelsey, double him, make sure he's there. I mean,
- 4:34they have been slinging the ball around fairly
- 4:35evenly. I mean, Kelsey's got two for 246, Worthy's
- 4:39sitting at 130, Rashid Rice has had a 190, Thornton,
- 4:43as you say, is on IR, but they've been passing
- 4:47it. And I guess what Kansas City have done, which
- 4:52is what we hope that McDaniel and Harbaugh would
- 4:54do with Justin Herbert is they've kind of gone,
- 4:56well, Mahomes probably can't do what he used
- 4:58to do three, four, five years ago. We now need
- 5:01to kind of change maybe the makeup of our team
- 5:03and we will splash in free agency with, and we
- 5:07will probably pay overs for someone like a Kenneth
- 5:09Walker, but it's completely changed the face
- 5:11of, of how to think about stopping them. And
- 5:14the frustrating thing is, is that Patrick Mahomes
- 5:16is still an MVP Superbowl winning quarterback.
- 5:21And all of a sudden he doesn't have this pressure
- 5:22now because he doesn't have to be the A1. So
- 5:25I just have this feeling that O 'Leary will be
- 5:28ready. It's going to be really tough to play
- 5:30at Arrowhead. super home ground advantage for
- 5:32them. It is always a tough place to play. The
- 5:34Chargers historically have played well at Arrowhead.
- 5:36We always, we always do remember that time when
- 5:39you and I were watching together when we both
- 5:42lived in, I lived in Glen Iris and Mike Williams
- 5:44catches the two points to go ahead. I ripped
- 5:47my shirt off. It's all over Twitter. It was good
- 5:48fun. It's great fun. Yeah. Yeah. It's, it's those
- 5:52days feel like long, long, long ago. Yeah. Offensively,
- 5:58is there anything else you want to talk about
- 5:59them? I mean, the offensive line, um, is Simmons
- 6:02back? Well, that's unsure because he has been
- 6:06off with some kind of a weird back issue, I think.
- 6:08And they do have a undrafted free agent, uh,
- 6:12Khalil Benson, who's been playing left tackle
- 6:14there and not pass blocking very well, but run
- 6:17blocking very well. So I do think. Paths protection
- 6:20is an area where you can potentially get some
- 6:22pressure on that left side. Silmataia is not
- 6:25great and obviously got a UDFA at left tackle.
- 6:28And Mezador, Mack, Tully, they're all playing
- 6:31well so it gives us a chance but... Uh, like
- 6:34it doesn't really give you a chance when you
- 6:36have a quarterback like my homes and a running
- 6:38game like they have at the moment. They're clever
- 6:41enough with the rate to find ways to limit those
- 6:43true drop back passing opportunities. But when
- 6:46we get them, we've got to take them and you mentioned
- 6:48the contained rush. I still think that's the
- 6:50case. He still has run around and made a few
- 6:53plays in the first four games of the year. That
- 6:55is no, that is still a part of his game. So they've
- 6:57got to, they've got to approach it that way.
- 7:00Yeah. I just think attacking that left side of
- 7:02the line. Um, if Simmons is playing, he's going
- 7:04to be coming, coming off, um, uh, back rehab,
- 7:07uh, attacks to him a tire as well. I think he
- 7:09said, he said he's meant to be back 12th is expected
- 7:12back there, but we know Creed, we know Trey Smith,
- 7:15um, and we know Jaylon Moore. So I think that,
- 7:18that, that left side is going to be an area where
- 7:20we can, what do you call it? Is it a, when you
- 7:22can crash? What do you call when you condense
- 7:24three defensive linemen on, on one side? Yeah,
- 7:26let's, let's overload that fucker. Let's not
- 7:30blitz though. That's the thing. Mahomes' passing
- 7:34grade blitzing is 82 .8 per PFF. So I still think,
- 7:39you've still got to do it occasionally. O 'Leary's
- 7:42shown that he knows when to do it, but I'd be
- 7:43very judicious. Very judicious. Let's turn it
- 7:48over to there. defence. Jones is still the headline
- 7:54name, right? He's still the interior rusher,
- 7:56probably not the force that he was a number of
- 7:58years ago. He's probably taken a couple of steps
- 8:00back. Peter Woods has sort of been okay, I thought,
- 8:05as a rookie. He's sort of come in. You've got
- 8:09Tonga there and Eason. Is there anything else
- 8:11on that interior of their defensive line that
- 8:14you want to check about? I mean, The question
- 8:16is, Alistair, is do you think that we can actually
- 8:19run the ball efficiently to keep this front honest
- 8:21or is Spags just going to be going up blitz,
- 8:24up blitz, up blitz, run blitzes, pass blitzes?
- 8:27Justin Herbert might not even finish the game.
- 8:29Does that kind of sound the way it's going to
- 8:30be? It does. I think it is so important that
- 8:34Lad McConkie is back for this one, because if
- 8:36they've got a weakness anywhere at the moment,
- 8:38it's Legerrius need in the slot who's given up
- 8:4128 of 35. Pass has thrown his way for 284 yards
- 8:46and a touchdown. He's the starting corner. And
- 8:49I do think generally on that back end, Lowy Gilman,
- 8:52we know him well. Occasionally he'll give up
- 8:54a big one. I think this Chiefs front seven still
- 8:57defends the run really, really well. Peter Woods
- 8:59is active. He's had a slower start as a pass
- 9:02rusher, but they know how to defend the run.
- 9:05Nick Bolton, Drew Tranquil, this front seven
- 9:07is stout. I would really just change up the game
- 9:11plan entirely and really attack through the air
- 9:13because I don't like the linebackers in coverage
- 9:15so much. I think you can get them on crossing
- 9:17routes. And even though some of their corners
- 9:19are playing well, we'll get to that shortly.
- 9:22I think that's the way to go, man. I think we'll
- 9:24be brick walling that shit if we try to run the
- 9:27ball at the rate we have been running it the
- 9:30last two weeks. So, McConkey, do we have any
- 9:34other receiving option? that is going to be there.
- 9:37Like, so you're saying that McConkey is going
- 9:39to be a winner on early down. Are we going to
- 9:42see any screen passes? Are we going to see, are
- 9:44we going to see my own Hampton catch stuff? I
- 9:47would really like to think that Mike McDaniel
- 9:50doesn't do, doesn't try to put Justin Herbert
- 9:53in any of these play action or he's where he's
- 9:55having to twist his body to look like he's handing
- 9:57off and then twists and throws the other way.
- 10:00I just think Carl Laftus and those guys are going
- 10:03to start and Spags just tees off as well. Spags
- 10:06has this uncanny ability as a defensive coordinator
- 10:08to just, you know, he's going to blitz. It's
- 10:11third and third and five, third and six, you
- 10:14know, he's going to blitz. He does it anyway.
- 10:15He sends eight and all of a sudden Justin Herbert
- 10:18is overwhelmed and he's going to be even more
- 10:21overwhelmed with the four rookies on the offensive
- 10:23line. So Who else other than Lad McConkey would
- 10:26you sort of pin your eyes to or look for to try
- 10:30and win early in the downs? Cola. Gadsden. Gadsden's
- 10:34had a terrible season so far and it's very frustrating
- 10:37because I liked him from Syracuse. He had a really
- 10:40promising rookie year. I think what we're seeing
- 10:42is he's more of a seam stretching runner and
- 10:45not very good at stopping and sitting in zones
- 10:47and feeling things. And McDaniel's offense seems
- 10:50to require more of that. It maybe just doesn't
- 10:52suit him. It's amazing to think this, but I reckon
- 10:55he's much more suited to a Greg Roman style gap
- 10:59play action. Offense instead of zone boot action,
- 11:03where there's a lot of rollouts and you've got
- 11:05to come across the field and sit in the right
- 11:07spot and the right layer. But that's, that's
- 11:09the recipe. Cause we're not getting going to
- 11:10get any stronger at the wide receiver spot. Jack,
- 11:13we've just signed Luke Grim. We're not getting
- 11:16my boy. We're not getting Trey Harris back. He's
- 11:19got a hamstring in his week to week. Lad McConkey,
- 11:22we've got no idea. Quentin Johnston, a chest
- 11:24injury. I really think to fast even have a hope
- 11:28of winning this game. Lad and QJ need to play.
- 11:32Gadsden and Kola need to be a real focus over
- 11:34the middle, including passing the ball off to
- 11:36the running backs. And we need to just be careful
- 11:38about not overdoing the running game because
- 11:40we're going to end up in third and long and then
- 11:42Spags will send the nickel and then the outside
- 11:44corner, the Blitz as John Cruden would like to
- 11:48say, and it will be the same stuff. Herbert will
- 11:49fumble and we will lose by multiple scores. Yeah.
- 11:52And don't worry if it's second and long, we're
- 11:54probably just going to run it anyway, right?
- 11:56That's okay. If it's second and 12. Yeah, let's
- 11:57run it. Let's, let's, let's go outside zone run.
- 12:00Yeah. Go three yards. Oh man. But that's the,
- 12:04but that's the blueprint, right? Because the,
- 12:05the Raiders with Bowers and Mayer before the
- 12:09buy had 14 catches combined. They do give those
- 12:12up. They, they, Same thing happened earlier in
- 12:15the year against the Colts. So they're not a
- 12:18flawless defense, right? They still have come
- 12:20up against a team like Miami and got one of their
- 12:22wins there. They've played a couple of close
- 12:24games. So I'm not saying they are a juggernaut,
- 12:28but Jack, I do want to talk about, if we can't
- 12:30talk about Peter Woods, who I did have as top
- 12:32five player in my class last year, but we know
- 12:35those defensive tackles take a couple of years
- 12:38to just gestate before they come to fruition.
- 12:40Another guy I had in my top eight was Mansour
- 12:43Delain, the LSU cornerback. And right now I think
- 12:46he's PFF's like third graded corner in the NFL.
- 12:49He looks like borderline shut down. So you need
- 12:53to go to the other side of the field, Christian
- 12:55Fulton or Noel Williams. And that Mansour Delain,
- 12:59I think the Chiefs have done it again. I think
- 13:01with their first round pick, they've found a
- 13:03genuine McDuffie type of player who's just live,
- 13:08never panics. If he's in trail technique, he's
- 13:11fast enough to catch up. He can change direction.
- 13:13He's just a very good cornerback. Unbelievable.
- 13:17And they just keep hitting them out of the park.
- 13:19Don't they? Every single draft. When we do the
- 13:21review of the previous shows, you go, oh, he's
- 13:23pretty, oh, he's actually, and even though they're
- 13:26picking 31st, 32nd, they do things. They find
- 13:28players. Oh, just a really well run organization.
- 13:32Um, let's talk about Kelsey because you said
- 13:34he's in the honeymoon period. Uh, do and James
- 13:37is still an unknown for this game at the time
- 13:39of recording. So, uh, we don't know if he's playing.
- 13:43Is it, are we expecting Travis Kelsey of old
- 13:45or is he just going to get a lot of catches and
- 13:48yards purely because Kenneth Walker is, we're
- 13:51just going to be trying to stop the run. He's
- 13:53just going to be open. Yeah, I think that's right.
- 13:55I think he is really benefiting from the fact
- 13:57that teams are getting sucked in a little bit
- 13:59and then they're popping it over the top, but
- 14:01he's moving after the catch. Better than he has
- 14:04the last two or three years. So something has
- 14:06changed for him. I thought I was really surprised.
- 14:08He was going around again. Yep. Yep. Some things
- 14:12have changed in his life and it's worked so good
- 14:14on him. He's a star of the game. No, Derwin makes
- 14:18it harder to stop him. We don't really have a
- 14:21slot corner option at the moment. we started
- 14:24Dean Leonard in the slot early in the game last
- 14:27week, and then they actually made a change there
- 14:29because he gave up a catch to Waddle. So it's
- 14:31got to be more scheme, it's got to be more collective
- 14:35coverage. And if he has a few catches, which
- 14:37he will, so be it, just don't let Kenneth Borker
- 14:39beat you on the ground is the goal. Okay, let's
- 14:42talk about how Jim Harbaugh is going to react
- 14:47or is going to go in terms of strategy. Are you
- 14:51wanting to see more aggression? Are you wanting
- 14:53to say fourth and two? Let's go for it. And let's
- 14:55do it in the first quarter when we're on our
- 14:57own 30. What are you looking for here? Do you
- 15:00think we are we going to see Harbour now go conservative
- 15:05given his press conferences this week? Given
- 15:09the I mean, I don't even know how he's going
- 15:11to get this team up for it when a reporter asked
- 15:13him, Hey, what words do you have for the team?
- 15:15I don't have any right now. I'm sure he's got
- 15:18something. I'm sure, you know, it's pretty hard
- 15:19in a zero on five loss to have something, but
- 15:21what do you want to see, Alistair? You were a,
- 15:24you're an advocate for fourth down. You're a
- 15:26staly man. You quite like it. What do you now
- 15:29want to see in the perfect world? In the perfect
- 15:32world, I want to see him assess each decision
- 15:34and make a sound. Fourth down call based on field
- 15:39position down and distance I feel like There
- 15:42are times early in games where he likes to punt
- 15:44where I'd like him to go for it like a fourth
- 15:46and three at midfield At arrowhead is where I
- 15:50think come on. Let's get into the game. It's
- 15:51oh and oh Let's get it here or you know It's
- 15:54the first drive of the game and you've got the
- 15:56ball at the 11 yard line of Kansas City Their
- 15:59crowd is loud. Oh, we failed and it's fourth
- 16:02and two No, we'll take the field goal and go
- 16:05up 3 -0. They're the ones where I'd like us to
- 16:08be more aggressive knowing that we're the underdog.
- 16:10But I'm with you Jack, those later game situations,
- 16:13that's when he's using the aggression where maybe
- 16:15it's not necessary when you've got the seven
- 16:18point lead to directly answer your question.
- 16:22I think he... Will not go for any fourth downs
- 16:25now. I think he's going to have been bullied
- 16:27out of it by people like you and all of you listeners
- 16:30haranguing the man online and the reporters and
- 16:33he I've never seen like he would make the Japanese
- 16:37and the Romans proud to the way he fell on his
- 16:39sword in that press conference. He he shouldered
- 16:42all of the blame. He was actually quite good
- 16:44leadership in a way. I think he did that quite
- 16:46deliberately to take all the pressure off Herbert
- 16:49and everyone else. I got that wrong. I'm just
- 16:51so upset. I ruined the game for my team. I need
- 16:54to be better. That's a good move from a leader.
- 16:57But, uh, yeah, I don't really know what he does
- 17:01if he's not giving us a strategic advantage.
- 17:03And if he just repeats the same platitudes and
- 17:06mantra every time, how is he getting the team
- 17:09up for this game, Jack? What do you think, mate?
- 17:11What do you think he can rebound and prove us
- 17:13all wrong? Well, I would, I would like to see
- 17:17him. Again, I was a critic of him in the show
- 17:21earlier this week, for all sorts of reasons.
- 17:24I'd like to think that a really good leader,
- 17:26which I still believe Harbaugh is, you know,
- 17:29as much as I've attacked him and you know, good
- 17:31leaders make bad decisions. Absolutely. It just
- 17:35feels like bad decisions are compounding. And
- 17:39generally, when a good leader makes a bad decision,
- 17:43it sticks out like a sore thumb. This one just
- 17:45felt like it was accumulation of bad decisions,
- 17:49bad choices, not just from Harbaugh, but from
- 17:51McDaniel, game management issues, not getting
- 17:53plays in on time, calling timeouts. It's just,
- 17:57we're meant to see that stuff happen in, okay,
- 17:59if you're being really, if you're giving leniency,
- 18:01maybe in the first three weeks, then after the
- 18:04first three weeks, even if you're losing, like
- 18:06even if you're losing in the way that we're doing,
- 18:08you're expecting those systems to improve because
- 18:10people go, hey, That can't happen. Like last
- 18:13week we had to call a timeout because the play
- 18:14is too late. What's going on here? But it just
- 18:16keeps on, keeps on happening. So in terms of
- 18:18a game management area, if we lose by two scores,
- 18:22I'm kind of now going, well, it's probably going
- 18:25to happen. What I'd like to see is just calm
- 18:28and controlled. I'd like to see Herbert going
- 18:30to the huddle, getting the playoff and going,
- 18:32if it's not there, throw it away. I would like
- 18:35to see that we're running the ball. If it's not
- 18:39there, hey, second and long. Try to throw it,
- 18:41try to do something. Don't try and do too much.
- 18:43So what I'd like to see is perhaps more conservatism
- 18:47to a point, but more calmness. And what I hope
- 18:49that means is that leads to better performance
- 18:52and more confidence. Cause at the moment we're,
- 18:54we're trying to find the calmness in the chaos.
- 18:57We found it against Denver and we looked great,
- 19:00but then we just got on our own way and tripped
- 19:02our own feet and broke our face. So that's, that's
- 19:06what I'm looking for now is just looking for
- 19:08those small management. improvements and not
- 19:13seeing penalty after penalty after penalty that
- 19:15we can stop. A PI is going to happen, you know,
- 19:18like all that, but just so motion penalties,
- 19:20all that stuff, even with, even with a whole
- 19:24rookie offensive line and you guys, they've been
- 19:26in the building for almost six months now. Those
- 19:29need to stop happening. That's, that's where
- 19:31I sit. Yep. Totally agree, man. Control the controllables.
- 19:36Penalties are one of those. Burning timeouts,
- 19:38wasting them is one of those. Dumb play calls
- 19:41that are never going to work because you're using
- 19:43your personnel wrong. It's one of those. Catching
- 19:46the ball, one of those. Let's control those things.
- 19:49And maybe this game will be closer than I'm guessing
- 19:52you and I are thinking. So unless you've got
- 19:55anything else, man, do you want to talk about
- 19:57key matchups or straight into score predictions?
- 20:00The one thing I do, I have one question for you
- 20:03and this is listeners. I'd love to know in the
- 20:06comments. Um, let me know, would you rather right
- 20:09now improve Justin Herbert's protection with
- 20:12two offensive line upgrades or give him one healthy
- 20:17separator? What, what, what would you want right
- 20:19now? Going gets KC. Would you go, I'll have our
- 20:22seeker and Slater or would you go, I want a fully
- 20:26healthy lad, McConkey, fully healthy lad, McConkey.
- 20:29Would you I think I think it I think it matters
- 20:32that much because I think the offensive line
- 20:34was broadly workable For the majority of the
- 20:37game against Denver. It fell apart late and it
- 20:40might happen again And I'll eat my words, but
- 20:42I just I'm watching on the tape You cannot win
- 20:45football games when your pass catching targets
- 20:48Theo Weiser and Marquez Valdez Gantling and Darius
- 20:53Davis, it's utterly ridiculous. So we need Brennan
- 20:56Thompson back and I would take Basically player
- 20:59I think is a star in lad McConkey. If he's fully
- 21:02healthy Jack, that's the qualification. It's
- 21:04got to be a hundred percent lad McConkey, not
- 21:06poor lad McConkey playing with half torn cartilage
- 21:09in his rib and missing a toe on his left foot.
- 21:12It's got to be the real McCoy lad McConkey. Ah,
- 21:15the real McConkey. Uh, absolutely. I agree. Um,
- 21:19sometimes when you do those brilliant all 22
- 21:22videos, you pause it and there are four receivers,
- 21:25one or three receivers, one tight end. None of
- 21:28them are separated. They're all just sitting
- 21:29there with a player on them and Herbert's going,
- 21:32what the hell am I meant to do? Uh, all right.
- 21:34Let's talk about results. I believe this is going
- 21:37to be quite ugly at Arrowhead. Uh, I think this
- 21:41is going to be 27 to 10 Kansas city chiefs. I
- 21:48think we're going to get absolutely spunked.
- 21:53Yep. I'd like to think the other way that we,
- 21:56we rally, but I think coming off the buy, they're
- 21:59going to be ready. Like, yeah. We're going to
- 22:01get spunked. Well, earlier in the week, Andy
- 22:06was talking about the Lord of the Rings. So you're
- 22:07playing more of Game of Thrones red wedding kind
- 22:12of vibes. You're thinking it's going to be a
- 22:14full on red wedding at Aerosmith Stadium, Arrowhead
- 22:19Stadium. Apologies, listeners. I'm I'm in the
- 22:22same spot I don't know how we win this game and
- 22:24he reads record after a bye week throughout his
- 22:27career is twenty two and five the chiefs are
- 22:29coming off rest. We might get a lucky draw or
- 22:33maybe rishi rice can't go with his hamstring
- 22:35and we have a fighting chance to stop their pass
- 22:38offense a little bit but. Yeah you'd be a bit
- 22:43silly I think to predict a win from a no and
- 22:45five team against a four or no team so I'll go
- 22:47chiefs twenty four. Charges 16 and then we're
- 22:510 and 6 heading into a bye week. We've got to
- 22:54think about what to do with this show listeners.
- 22:56Please tell us are you enjoying these previews?
- 22:58Would you like us to do something different throw
- 23:00out some ideas? We want to keep things fresh
- 23:03and interesting. But yeah, glad you're joining
- 23:07joining for these shows. We need to find a way
- 23:09to win this game Jack so we can talk about a
- 23:12win and not another loss. I was going to say,
- 23:15is this the longest, this is the longest losing
- 23:18streak we've ever had on the podcast. I think
- 23:20it might definitely, definitely on the podcast.
- 23:22Definitely. Yeah. Definitely on the podcast.
- 23:24So we've we're in uncharted waters as well. Uh,
- 23:26as you said, Alistair, thank you so much for
- 23:29everyone listening and tuning in. And yet please
- 23:31let us know if you're enjoying the previews,
- 23:32we'll continue them. Uh, or we can do something
- 23:34completely different. If you wanted to start
- 23:36doing, we can do some scouting, some, some draft
- 23:39prep, maybe Alistair, that might sort of bring
- 23:41some positivity to it. Uh, Anyway, that's us.
- 23:45Thanks, mate. This is gonna be a tough one, I
- 23:48think. 016. Bolt up as much as you can. Stay
- 23:52safe. Go Chargers. We'll see you next week. Ciao,
- 23:55guys.
